...and you have that feeling that's like wanting to vomit profusely, what chakra does it stem from?

No. It seems to only be pain. My understanding of where it comes from is quite limited.

Isn't seeing yourself in others within the realm of unity? I try to relate with all causes. Yet it seems I have yet to fully understand why we have causes in the first place.

The difficulty can only be felt as a lack of connection with others although I know very well such is impossible. I cannot even begin to plunge the depths of these emotions.

Anyways, feel free to question me in private. My original question has been sufficiently answered. Smile

Wow that is interesting, I noticed that too, not as bad as vomiting though, some kind of nausea where the solarplexus is located.. I have been wondering if I have been picking stuff up from that other person that triggered it?
or if it was some imbalance in myself.
The last time it happened, it felt like someone was attaching me like a squid if that makes sense, reaching out to me, in a sort of clinging way... that individual does have a history with clinging as far as I know.
(and so do I, so I guess the answer is both)

First thing I do when aware that I've been influenced by another being in this fashion is to clear my aura.
This can be done in many ways - I often use burning sage but you can also 'brush' yourself down with the hands.
Other methods involve visualization, for example the star of david, or the hounds of heaven. This makes you immune to these types of energy transfer and also to mind control attempts.
Those of negative polarity are 'energy vampires', they literally leach energy from other beings in the form of emotions such as fear, doubt, hate, extreme anger etc. They have to do this in order to survive - it's their instinct, their way of maintaining control of situations and people.
I try to return to a state where I once again enjoy clarity of thought and do not get caught up in the other selves energy patterns.
Once this is done it's easy to open the green ray center again and resume more fruitful work.
If a better understanding of the 'why' aspect of this dynamic can be attained then one is able to view these beings in a different light.
Then their perceived 'attacks' can be seen as simply an aspect of their being.
I feel it is also not beneficial to 'fight' or resist these energies for they carry lessons that must be integrated.
To become balanced it is important to allow a certain amount of negative energy into your field, obviosly not so much as to become overwhelmed, but sufficient to cause a reconfiguration of patterns into a more harmonious state.
It is also possible to 'contain' these beings within spheres of light if one is able to perform this.

You have brought about key insight, Meerie, and I thank you for it. It appears that these feelings are of the release of control/power. Very primal if not sexual at times. Clinging is a proper word.

I was letting go and/or managing desire it seems in regards to relationships.

Again, my understanding is so limited. These dealings transcend the realm of the mind it seems.

It has been my experience, too, that these feelings of nausea originate in the solarplexus / 3rd chakra.
In my case, it is dark/confused energies which I have in that area (probably past lives-related ... it's pretty weird stuff anyway) going into resonance with something that's outside of myself.

Energies relating to hierarchy, authority, dominance/submission etc. give me nausea (so basically it's about assigning unequal "worth" to different entities, including oneself).

Contemplating the "metaphysical nature of one's stomach" (one might, for example, look into Chinese medicine) seems to help to "digest" these energies.

Also, "bringing light into the darkness" seems to be pretty important - at least in my case, the duality of light and "no light" is very much present in the solarplexus area, and exposure to a certain amount of sunlight helps a little with this.

Interestingly, I am noticing a strong resonance between smoking tobacco and blockages of the third chakra, though I haven't really figured out what this is about...

I would offer that it is also meaningful to see the others in the self, and this can be of great aid in understanding the self.

Just a comment about my current stage of progress with balancing my solar plexus since it may be of use. As I said, I've always had an aversion to power. For many reasons.

Recall a helpful exercise that Ra suggested was to see the self as the Creator.

The Creator is many things, but one aspect of his is power. I'm in the process of embracing and accept myself as a being filled with power. I'm working over my fear that embracing power will suddenly "seduce" me into sts. After all, the sto path has all energy centers balanced, including solar plexus. It's ok to feel powerful, and even to draw enjoyment from that feeling (just like its ok to feel alive via red, or ok to feel creativity or sexual via orange). It's not going to magically make me less loving. It may be different if I explored power before discovering green ray love, but after I have felt green ray I shouldn't be afraid of embracing yellow for any reason.

It's good to be powerful - its good to embrace that aspect of yourself as another aspect of the One Creator! Smile

I've turned down what I perceived as at that time being the "universal power" several times now. Most I did was make the sun about 170' when I looked up (about 3-5 inches up from the horizon on both sides but reaching all the way to the center of the sky.)

Decided stuff like that isnt for normal people. My "guides" kind of remarked that the personality style that I use (being careful not to refer to me but rather, "the personality style that those people (referring to choice I make) have." As I may next moment make next choices you cant say "your personality" but rather, "the personality style that the people you are now in harmony with have".) never or almost never accepts any real power but is always kind of looking for power.

I would hestiatntly say that you cant polarize towards STO to the end without accepting personal power in the "God" style power realm and accepting the admiration of others for managing to do it.

If you refuse to accept power and or accept praise you will, based on experience, either lose polarity or downright gain STS polarity.

False modesty and refusal to accept situations/powers presented on account of "I know better and thus will refuse." Is... Kind of ... Regroup worthy act.

Anyway. Tl;Dr: You can have power and still be STO, Just as you can be super weak and still be STS.

Accepting my power has been a huge lesson for me, especially in regards to accepting the praise from other people. I pursued power relentlessly in other lives, and now that I have it but no longer seek to use it on others it is very difficult for me to come to terms that some desire my service which requires its use. I do not use my powers in the ways of destruction and separation anymore, but it has been a long road to build trust in my own positive intentions, even though I have always had them in this life.

The "right way" to use power is, I believe, the greatest lesson that comes from the attempt to blend love and wisdom.
