Big influx of new members lately. Lets hear how you found Bring4th/The Law of One

I've noticed a steady increase in the newest member welcome at the bottom of the main page which is great! I thought I would create a thread for those that might not be ready for a lengthy explanation such that the wanderer forum achieves but more of an introductory thread for those that have recently found this forum or the Law of One material.

Also, I'm sure there have been many "how did you find this material" threads but I thought it might be nice to start another one just to revisit those wonderful moments of joy that the awakening caused for us all

As for me, I was just sitting around browsing a mixed martial arts message board's off topic section when I "randomly" noticed a thread about the illuminati with an alternative spin to it. Now normally, I wouldn't have much care for such a topic as I never really bothered with conspiracy theories but I figured what the heck. I've also never been into spirituality or and religion for that matter prior to this

As I clicked the link that the person posted, I began reading something entirely different. This was some fear mongering or conspiracy laden literature. This was from something higher. Something bigger. As I read post to post from this hidden_hand character, something kept urging me to read on. The more I read, the more fervent I became to read more and more. I read the entire thread entirely with my mind completely blown along the way. Something that at other times would be utterly ridiculous to me was for some reason actually possible. Something about it pushed away all of my doubts. All of my narcissism towards such beliefs were held in check by this unnerving feeling that this could actually be true.

I noticed the mention of the Ra Material which piqued my interest so I began digging once I had complete that thread. As soon as I started reading the channelings from Ra, the same fervent intensity to gobble up this information returned. I secluded myself and it consumed me. Every free second I had even at work involved reading more and more of this mind blowing revelation that I was experiencing. It was if I was remembering all that I had forgotten. And the rest is history as they say.

About six years back, shortly after breaking out of organized religion, I developed a sudden intense interest in aliens and the paranormal, after waking up to find my husband watching a show about Roswell. I got on a bunch of paranormal forums, and eventually a member from one of those forums linked me to llresearch.org and bring4th. Everything immediately resonated tremendously.

I was thrilled to learn that Carla lives only about 20 minutes from my house, and started going to the weekly meditations, back when her health was still good enough to have them. I really miss those weekends, because it provided the group spiritual atmosphere of a church without all the dogma and hellfire sermons. Probably the most comfortable I've felt around other people in my life.

I was posting on the forums long before reading the Law of One books, and at one of the meditations, when GLB heard that I hadn't read them, he shoved the lot of them into my hands, telling me I just HAD to see them. I took them home and began reading, and was even taking the books to work with me to read on my break because I just couldn't put them down. The rest is history.

I've probably been aware/reading this forum since April/May but only signed up recently, figuring its perhaps time to start contributing! I've been 'awake' since 2007/2008 perhaps but the last 3/4 years i'd fallen fast asleep again. It was only at the start of this year I took an interest again, culminating in finally reading the first book of the Ra material which i've had for quite a while. Come to think of it, I have no idea what led me to pick it up, but I was fascinated. I think a lot of what I was reading coincided with a lot I was learning about how the universe functioned just from my own thinking. Read the other books from the online archive and that led me here. Learned fair bit more on here thanks to the great people on this forum. I guess i'd always been fairly spiritual, certainly i've always been an outsider or 'wanderer' so it all fits. So I guess this is my welcome to this place, hello all!

I was scrolling down the comments on an Alex Jones Infowars article where someone had posted the link to the Hidden_Hand thread on ATS. Same as Jeremy, it was like having my memory jogged. This was back in 2009.

A friend recommended a subscription DVD service called Spiritual Cinema Circle, which I reviewed, liked what I saw, and subscribed.

Spiritual Cinema Circle members get free access to an online streaming video service called GAIAM TV. I don't watch 'standard' TV (I don't even own a standard TV set), but I'm unemployed so had time to kill and started watching videos on GAIAM.

David Wilcock's series and Regina Meredith's guests mentioned the Ra books, the dimensional shift, the Law of One, the Illuminati, etc. so I googled for more info on Ra and the LOO which lead me to L/L.

I downloaded the 5 books in pdf form and read the first 4 books in about 2 weeks. Before starting LoL I had some experience with or exposure to tarot (and therefore archetypes), chakras, Kabbalah, reincarnation, interplanetary and interdimensional visitation and extensive reading in astrology. However, I found I would keep 3 windows open - 1 for the Ra book, 1 for a word doc of my notes, and 1 to search for more info as a question arose. Searching for more info lead me to Bring4th.

I was a fairly early adopter of online bulletin boards/forums/chat so have bounced around to many sites over the years. But they were the '3 Bears' syndrome - most were too ugly (I moderated a yahoo divorce forum - nuff said), some were too 'fluffy' , this one seems just right.

In the Bring4th chat, someone used the HH abbreviation. I asked what that meant and that's how I found the Hidden_Hand material. What I've found interesting about myself as I read the Ra books I 'know' this is truth but, for me, it's more intellectual still; it doesn't speak directly to my heart.

The HH material just grabbed my heart on first read; it provides both explanation for and a model for loving (or at least compassion for and forgiving) the evil people and/or difficult people.

Anyway, somewhere along the line I stumbled upon the HH material and that's how I found my way here. I'm not really as interested in 'the truth' anymore as I am more dedicated to finding peace within, oh, and global grouphugs.

Woah, I just looked this up out of curiosity and it is a description of what I went through 10 years ago. Everything at the beginning of this page is something I went through for a couple of years. I eventually chalked it up to demons controlling the weak willed. What is interesting is that my old friends went through the same thing, and none of them are still alive. Craziness.

On the subject of 'hyperdimensional matrix attacks'...

Remember that entities can only apply their crowbar of distortion enhancement against unresolved distortions that you are holding onto. So in that way they are providing service by allowing you to better understand your views of reality that are not in line with the Law of One. Food for thought. Reflection in nature is advised to allow yourself time to de-tangle your distortions if more than one are being leveraged against you at a time. Also, I found that running water puts you at a baseline between love and fear.

I found the Law of One through a forum of paranormal phenomena, where a member posted a thread called "Law of One", and there it was, the link to - lawofone.info. And the rest is history. :p

An interesting thing that I thought of recently is that one of my friends was training to become a medium just before I found Ra, and she made some kind of 6 months ahead, future-prediction for me, using Tarot cards. And one by one, three months ahead she laid Major Arcana cards having to do with magics and priests. I didn't know these cards back then, but if I remember them correctly, they were Magician, High Priestess, and Hierophant (or something like that). I asked her what it meant, and she said - wow! Something big is coming for you! Big awakening! I got happy, cause I was so, so tired of all the BS. Aaaaand, just when she predicted it would happen, Ra entered my life. /

As you can imagine, there is some trepidation in what feels like making the same mistake again, but I don't give up too easily and am hopeful that it's the right thing for me to do to keep being honest. That's just me, and I'm finally accepting it

Short version of my story:
I was introduced to Ra at a very young age, around 6 or 7. My mom was into alternative spirituality and New Age stuff. She never forced any of it on me and didn't share much, but she randomly mentioned one day about beings speaking through humans, and she mentioned specifically Ra and Seth.

I was extremely curious about it then but wasn't really aware or mature enough to know how to ask about it, but it has stuck with me my entire life. She sort of fell away from her spirituality and I went through motions of extreme atheism and rejecting spirituality completely. Four or five years ago I was in a cushy situation in life, not working many hours and having plenty of time to enjoy myself and spend time contemplating. I'd stare at the stars for hours, and doing this caused me to feel something deep inside myself that started my seeking. Around this same time a person was attracted into my life who was going through the same sort of beginning stages of awakening. We'd discuss philosophy and cosmic spirituality and all sorts of stuff. My mind was being blown open by lots of things he showed me.

Through my whole life up to this point, the idea of Ra never really left my mind. I'd try to look it up every once and a while without success, mostly before google was a common tool. I didn't know that this was called "channeling" and information about the Egyptian god was very prevalent, not much helpful. This stuck in my mind but never really connected it to spirituality at all, just something that was a consistent curiosity throughout my life.

One day my new friend came over and showed me a video which mentioned The Law of One, channeled by Ra. It was like a lightning strike and a moment of clarity...I decided I would see my mom and ask her about this.

When I did, she took me to her collection of packed away books, boxes upon boxes in her garage. I thought it was going to take forever to find these books, but the first box we pulled down, there they were right on top: Law of One, books 1-4.

My awakening process from this point is another long story. I found the forums after I read all of the books, not realizing this organization was still around. I lurked for a long time before Gary posted a thread for the 30th Anniversary of the Ra Contact, asking for notes of gratitude to be put into a book to give to Jim and Carla as a gift. I registered to offer my note and then started participating a bit. My involvement with L/L Research has been a pretty magical story since then.

On Christmas Eve of 2011 my dad showed me "Source Field Investigations" by D. Wilcox ... He wouldn't loan it to me because he wanted to read it again, I said I would wait... I couldn't stop thinking about it until I ordered the book online... Until I read this book I thought reincarnation was wishful thinking for overgrown kids that wanted a scapegoat for their behavior. The research that was described completely changed my mind... Then I read "Journey of Souls" by Michael Newton... WOW did that crack my skull and change my thinking... by now I was clearly hearing my spirit guide, meditating, separating myself from negativity which included my wife, quit smoking cigarettes, quit drinking, turned off the TV, ...not all over night... but looking back it really didn't take long... Oh after Journey of Souls I read Destiny of Souls by Newton, and about the same time I discovered the Law of One Study guide on the Devine Cosmos website... EVERYTHING FIT and continues to... Now I'm so far down the rabbit hole that there is no turning back. My life story is a crazy tale ... but I am convinced that it was all to prepare me for this present time, to be love and light in a dying world... as a new Earth is generated! Love and Peace.
