Why substitute guess work for the real deal though. There have been loads of scientific studies and analysis on body language and it goes into great detail with applicable methods that get results.
This just looks like someone first heard left = logic and right = emotions then they fit that into body parts assuming relevance when there is none. I agree with Sagt.
My two cents: Even though there is relevance between mental states and bodily function, I don't think that it is to the extent that is being suggested here. Even within the context of the Ra material the nexus of space/time we are now at is only just starting to have these kind of implications and of mentality affecting the body due to raising planetary vibration and even then, most physical issues are still mainly completely dense chemical structure (3rd density, the nature of the vehicle which we inhabit) issues. Though the reciprocal time/space (metaphysical) implications on health will probably increase as we traverse through the spectrum of illusory time.

I don't see how Ra's quote is consistent with what you have written. Subtle discernment does not mean guessing that certain features indicate a certain disposition. So if you have no evidence other then personal recounts how do you even know what you are saying is useful?
Body parts can be seen as representations of key principles such as duality but saying the specific alignment and shape of the parts of the body of a specific individual is caused by distortions in the mind has no backing from Ra or anywhere else.

The tendency to be more emotionally oriented or rationally oriented depends on many factors such as gender socialization, culture, temperament, personality, and perhaps how your brain is wired. Even rational people have strong emotional reactions. In their case, they are able to moderate their emotional reactions/needs by interrupting this energy through cognition. It does not mean they are un-emotional. Sometimes rational/intellectualization is used to avoid processing emotions, but they do feel emotions strongly as someone who is more openly expressive with their emotions. The ability to moderate emotions and rationality is actually enhanced by the development of your prefrontal cortex, so with experience and maturity, and some help from brain development (e.g., mylenation of brain) it's possible to moderate emotional reactions and to use emotional reactions to make good decisions (i.e., Emotional Intelligence). There are no scientific backing to these assertions that certain tendencies, habits, or mannerism explains whether you are emotional or rational.
If you take mental health issues such as depression, you can see how the frontal lobe is being under-used to moderate emotional reactivity. There is a disconnection between the lymbic (emotional) and frontal lobe. You can look hard to find mannerisms and tendencies in different groups but overall, it's a rather dangerous way to assess people bc mannerisms alone only point to limited information on why people do what they do. Jungian typology could be more helpful in this respect. You can always, always change how the brain is wired so person who has tendency to become very emotional can learn how to moderate emotional reactions and balance w/ more rational functions (exception is if there are neurological issues that makes this difficult).
