I've sustained a marriage for 8 months with little to no hiccups and complete harmony. (Feel free to ask Vervex for reference) People may look at my interactions on the forum and wonder how the hell I manage it. I'll tell you the secret: I do exactly what I do on here in every regard.

The three key secrets to a harmonious relationship, in my opinion, are simply:

    - Complete expression of every desire in every moment

    - Complete acceptance of everything that is said and done by both parties (yes, including yourself)

    - Complete responsibility in trying to fulfill the desires of the other WHILE STILL RESPECTING YOUR OWN DESIRES

In all of my previous attempts at relationships, I neglected the second and last lines in regards to myself. They didn't work out but this one did.

Self-respect will lead to you respecting the other and not seeming like a contrived machine desperate to get the girl at all costs. You'll actually feel like a real person. Most people form pseudo personas in relationships and spit out feel good words and statements to seem loving. Let me tell you, women don't buy that kind of BS in the long-term.
