How do we know that death is not like this?

    Found at: http://www.atheistmemebase.com

Which has some interesting takes on religion.

It is once your soul reaches the creator, then the black is filled with white and a new creation begins.

It's just true "death" is a voluntary process that involves becoming the entire macrocosm.

Whether the afterlife is real or not, we're all going back to a silent peace inevitably. There is no true heaven, just a series of realities that go back to unity, silence, peace which creates noise anew.

Our individual selves will inevitably become everything and there is nothing we can do about it.

    That's a bit deterministic, eh?

Also, how do we know death is like anything? I would trust near-death experiences over atheists or theists any day.

And how atheists "know" what reality after death is? It is an equal fantasy as what religions are suggesting.

If You really want to get any answers, You should search within your Self. That requires (in my opinion) meditation and "contact" with an "inner senses". Without that all You have are senses of this, physical reality - they cannot reach beyond it - they are confined in physical world and they ends in physical.

Different approach. Does in your opinion Ra exist? If yes, so life beyond this physical vehicle in which You now dwell.

    Yes, I believe Ra exists.
I've tried going inward, but it provided no answers.
I can't get deep in meditation, but only get anxiety
    and a feeling of pressure.
Only rarely will a meditation be worthwhile.

In my humble opinion You should try to withstand those feelings of anxiety and pressure. If You would succeed, I wonder "where" it would lead You to? I mean If You would be able to overpass those feeling, what would "appear in You" than/next?
So often I'm reaching state of an "inner silence" and I hope to "hear" something, but I never do. I'll keep trying everyday to the end of my current existence, but if You have such feelings, I wonder if that's some kind of "inner event" that tries to "play out in front of your attention" - your "Conscious Self"?

I'm sorry for permitting myself for such suggestion - truth is that I do not know what do You feel nor what is your situation (as well "inner" as "outer"). But as far as I know, meditation is a way of looking within Self. If that gives You such feeling, than I am wondering what does it mean? That's all. If You "take away" meditation from your Self, than You do not have any other way to look inside of You - You becoming dependant on "outer" informations/sources alone.

One way or another I hope You will find your true Self eventually (in this existence - because You will surely find Your Self beyond it).

    Take Good Care

How do you, personally, meditate GW if I may ask?

I suppose that is a valid outlook, but it is still an outlook.

There are only outlooks. This forum is just outlooks. It's like saying the sky is blue.

Sometimes I focus on a accepting all that is that comes to me.

Other times I close my eyes and just let go. Letting whatever comes, come.

But the act of doing that makes me more sensitive to energies.
