I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 103 quote comes from Chapter Six and the concept of movement, dance, and exercise:

Movement/Dance/Exercise

Back in the days of the Ra contact taking speed walks was one of Carla’s basic ways of keeping her body in shape because she continually had low physical energy due to the toll that arthritic pain took upon her body. She normally walked about five miles in an hour. I walked with her in those days as I also needed to exercise my body to keep it in good shape, and she helped me out by making me hustle for all I was worth just to keep up with her. Carla also participated in a jazzercise class which was another way that she was able to keep her body strong and able to serve as the instrument for the Ra contact. Ra encouraged Carla to exercise regularly:

Questioner: The second question the instrument requested was: How may I best revitalize myself not only now but in the future?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument is aware of the basic needs of its constitution, those being meditation, acceptance of limitations, experiences of joy through association with others and with the beauty as of the singing, and the exercising with great contact, whenever possible, with the life forces of second density, especially those of trees; this entity also needing to be aware of the moderate but steady intake of foodstuffs, exercise being suggested at a fairly early portion of the day and at a later portion of the day before the resting. 25.2

In our later years together Carla and I loved dance of any kind. Movement to a catchy rhythm that was fun and gave us a chance to exercise our bodies on a regular basis. It also was a means by which the balancing function in our brains was activated and helped us to keep our bodies’ balance on an even keel. She had taken ballet as a child and also spent most summers at the Noyes Camp in Connecticut where the students were asked to dance their interpretations of a fish, or a star, or a bird, or a flower and such. In my own experience previous to meeting Carla, I loved to do what I would call improvisational dancing with a variety of steps produced on the spur of the moment. So we made a great couple that could riff off of each other’s dance moves and just let our bodies go and have fun together. Most of our dancing was done at home as a form of evening entertainment which was also useful in helping us wear our bodies out so we could get a good night’s sleep. In this quote Q’uo gives us a path to discover the spiritual nature of ourselves through dancing:

In so many ways, you are seduced time and again by the more subtle forms of non-physical formation, ritual and habit.

How to lift entities away from that? In many cultures, instead of entering silence the practice of mystics is to enter rhythm by chanting, whirling and dancing. Repetitive movements, repetitive sounds, repetitive tones are things that will batter and finally break the habit of thought. Whether you are drawn to entering the formless by simply sitting down and stopping talking, by designing a particular kind of silence, or by entering into the chanting or other ritual which takes one out of oneself by out-talking the talker, is completely a matter of your own discernment. But the job that you face when you attempt to disconnect yourself from form is to get past the lions at the gate of your temple, that is, your heart. Those guardians do not want you inside if you are still of the world. They do not want you inside your precious heart still grumbling, worried, bargaining, rationalizing, justifying or worried about being right. There are many teachings…

…of bringing oneself to one’s own knees outside the door of the heart and laying it all down: every idea, every concept of self, every vestige of, “I did this,” and, “I thought that,” and, “I’m right”—emptying the self and becoming truly able to receive. However you get there, get there before you enter the sacred space of your own heart. For there the Creator awaits you, full of love, full of Its own nature, which is your nature as well, waiting to enfold you in the embrace of absolute and unconditional adoration and devotion. Even in the last few years of her life, when Carla was basically confined to a hospital bed because of a wound from back surgery that wouldn’t heal, we still exercised together. She and I would walk around the circuit in the middle of our house that connected the hall, kitchen, living room and office. I would face her and hold her hands in mine and walk backwards as she walked forward for as many as 50 laps when she was at her strongest. This was something that we could enjoy together when her mobility was decreased, and it was an effective exercise to keep up her body’s strength. She also did specific exercises in bed which had the goal of keeping her legs strong and flexible.

Through the years all of our dance, exercise, and movements together we were doing much more than just exercising our bodies. We were expressing our joy for being alive, our love for each other, and for seeking and serving the One together in all that we did. I think that this might be a helpful attitude for anyone who would like to engage in any form of exercise or dance.

I am in my mid-70s now, and I feel that it is more important than ever to exercise my body as our bodies tend to get weaker the older we get. I think that exercising is as important for the body as are our spiritual disciplines are for our minds and spirits. So I still take speed walks of about a mile and a quarter six days a week. I also have a modest weight-lifting program three days a week and a program of stretching six days a week. Another fun exercise is dancing in the evenings before I go to bed. I believe that our bodies have what you could call feelings and minds of their own that respond to the joy of movement in a rhythmic way. Ra even suggested that such might be true in their statement in 84.17:

Indeed, the body complex as a whole is greatly misunderstood due to the post-veiling assumption that the physical manifestation called the body is subject only to physical stimuli. This is emphatically not so.

This morning I gathered another load of moss from around the Flower Fall in the front yard and then finished up the area in the Moss Garden that is next to the little creek that runs through the middle of my yard.

This afternoon I also gathered another load of moss, about ten square feet, and planted it further up the walkway in the Moss Garden. It is taking more moss to fill all of the places that need it, so it looks like I will need another three loads, or thirty square feet, of moss to complete the job.

Blessedness

I am the living spirit of divine love and I greet you in the blessed name of Jesus the Christ.

Has the concept of “blessed” touched your life, your thoughts and your feelings in the last little while? Does the sweep of your life include consecration? We surely hope that it may.

And if it does not, we who speak of divine love and bear the consciousness of that love urge each seeker to gaze in faith upon the blessedness of that which lies before you this day. For each moment is sanctified to the sanctified eye, ear and heart.

Surely we who came to comfort shall comfort still and be with each. And if blessedness is escaping your consciousness, turn within and ask in humility to be shown that vision of beatitude which lies within each event which comes before you.

For those who act are all blessedly loved by the divine consciousness which is love. That love strives to move into a world of illusion and shadow. May your consciousness of blessedness lighten the area about you. May your vision, given by grace and produced by your will to worship, bless in turn all those about you.

Chanting/Singing/Intoning

In the daylight consciousness there is that which occurs, springing from the fountains within, and there is that which is intended, springing from one’s feelings about what life is, what service is, what dedication to learning is for oneself. This instrument would call this element tuning. The experience of waking life is a dance in which the music must be heard before one can react to it. It is a spontaneous dance. Yet if one has set one’s intention for the day, one is entering the dance from a vibratory level which has been chosen by the seeker.

As you continue through the conscious period of your diurnal cycle, you may, if you choose, restore lost tuning by whatever means is effective for you. There are very brief means of restoring tuning, such as naming the name of that which represents love to you or calling upon love itself. There are more extended forays into restoring one’s desired tuning and moving back into remembrance of one’s intention, such as meditation, prayer, the intoning of chants, working with nature itself, its totems, its beauty and its energy, working with inspired works, and remembering certain key phrases that restore tuning because of the beauty which may be known to you.

There are an infinite number of ways to work with your basic tuning during your day. They all require from you setting your intention, and without judging or being disturbed by a movement from the desired tuning, working to come into a state of remembrance and the restoration of the tuning. In the night time we enter sleep and move into our subconscious minds where we can experience a deeper reflection of our being in dreams which can put us in contact with our guides and higher selves. We can become inspired to see ourselves in a larger, symbolic framework as a portion of a larger Self that can speak to us in thoughts too deep for words. As we awaken from our state of sleep and dreams we re-enter our conscious mind which has been inspired by these dreams and messages which we may or may not remember. Either way, these dreams and messages bubble up into our conscious minds as inspirational feelings that give us a feeling of being revitalized and ready to move through another day as Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

In our conscious waking lives chanting, singing, and intoning are some tools which we can use to set the tone or what you could call the tuning of our day to be conscious seekers of truth. They are good ways of focusing our conscious minds on inspiring thoughts or images as we prepare for the day to come. I like to begin my day with prayers and the singing of “alleluia” (which simply means Praise the Lord) a number of times in a row. As we live our spiritual journey on a daily basis it is helpful to set our intentions and tuning for the day by consulting our deeper consciousness once again in meditation, prayer, or contemplation. This gives us what Carla called a rule of life or the foundation for our day which is built upon remembering our basic desires to open our hearts in love to those whom we will meet each day and moving through our daily round of activities remembering all the while that we are spiritual beings living in the creation of the One. What we experience in the sleep state can augment what we seek in the conscious state.

However, each of us could have challenges to meet as catalyst may present itself at some point during the day, and we may also lose our tuning as we deal with it. It is at such times that we may wish to take a few moments to ourselves to once again use our tools for re-establishing our tuning: calling upon the love that is in every moment, chants of an inspirational nature, reading inspired writings, singing, intoning, meditation, contemplation, and prayer. Everyone has their own way of moving back into their hearts and restoring the feeling that it is important to accept ourselves as we are at any time and then setting our intentions to see the Creator in everyone that we meet, including in ourselves. Here Q’uo gives us some basic information about how singing can help us to be more powerful and sacred as we call upon different helpful portions of the one infinite Creator:

What we generally do with this instrument when talking about light and the use of sacred sound is to call upon this instrument’s experience as a singer.

We will say, this being understood, that sound is song. Any song an entity makes has a certain vibratory signature. However, each has perhaps experienced the difference between singing a popular song and singing a sacred song when you are attempting to worship.

When you are using sacred words and sacred language, and when you produce the sound consciously, aware of the sacredness of that sound, the voice brings to life underlying time/space-oriented or non-local energies that alert certain areas of vibration throughout the infinite universe of the one Creator. You can look at these simply as vibrations or you can look at them as Cherubim, Seraphim, and all of the other designations of unseen but very powerful and very real entities which are involved in the worship of the one infinite Creator.

These energies have been built up since the beginning of the energy of this octave of creation, with thousands and thousand of lifetimes and thousands and thousands of repetitions of various sounds.

Certain sounds are therefore more sacred than others. The Lord’s Prayer is a good example of this type of constantly repeated set of words.

It is interesting to note that perhaps the most deeply felt prayers, by those who have worshipped in the past in your Roman Catholic churches, have been those words that they did not understand but that they knew to be holy, the vibration of those Latin words by priests who did not even understand what they were saying, nevertheless, by their sheer repetition in the ears of the faithful, generation after generation, [they] became magical, and the use of them was powerful.

When an entity uses language consciously, he becomes a priest. And indeed, we say to you: everything that you say may be seen to be sacred or deliberately chosen not to be sacred, because the default setting of speech of any kind of utterance is that it is sacred. Yet that beginning nature of sound itself, when involved with the human breath, is not used by most entities in most applications. Most people are not aware that, when they open their mouth and speak, they are people of power, and so they do not concern themselves precisely with what they say. And they may throw away many, many words which mean very little, simply having a good time communicating small facts and enjoying life. Q’uo, March 25, 2007.

In the following quote Q’uo suggests that chanting is one way to break through the rigidity of thought that binds us to distracting behavior so that we can return to our heart of hearts and our higher spiritual paths:

I noticed yesterday that the fountain in the fish pond was much lower than it should have been, so this morning I went outside and took the lid off the schemer box and cleaned the filter inside of it and also cleaned the basket around the pump. After I got everything put back together and plugged the pump in the fountain shot up to its normal height.

This afternoon I went into the front yard where there is a good deal of moss that I was able to harvest and plant in my Moss Garden. So between yesterday and today I have gathered and planted about thirty square feet of moss. I think that about another thirty square feet may finish the job.

Love Is Ever Available

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the consciousness of full love.

This day lies before you as the landscape spreads out before one who gazes from the tower of detachment. Gaze well at this portion of your existence and plumb the depths of its resonance, for the spirit is always and everywhere available to each thirsting spirit.

Once one descends from the point of view of early morning observation into the busy noontime hubbub, one may well have forgotten the beauty and resonance one saw from on high. Let not the descent into the valley of experience rob you of the gift of conscious sight.

The spirit is there to help you. We ask you to seek that comfort and guidance within each situation at all times, for love is ever available to serve the needs of those who wish to be servants of love Itself.

Sacramental Sexual Energy Exchanges and Contact with Intelligent Infinity

When the indigo ray has been activated the adept sees itself as the Creator, and in the area of sexual energy transfer we now come to the sacramental nature of the bisexual reproductive act. In the Ra contact Carla and I found that when we experienced a sexual energy transfer the night before a session with Ra that the contact was lengthened as the sexual energy transfer increased her vital energies which helped to fuel the Ra contact. In 15.1, Ra gave us the basic principal of why Carla’s level of vital energy was the “key to the length of time” which Ra could use Carla during our sessions with them:

Firstly, this instrument’s reserve of vital energy, which is a product of body, mind, and spirit distortions in the various complexes, is the key to the length of time which we may expend using this instrument.

And in 44.13 Ra revealed the way in which Carla’s vital energies could be enhanced and lengthen the sessions with Ra:

We have spoken before of those things which aid this instrument in the vital energy: the sensitivity to beauty, to the singing of sacred music, to the meditation and worship, to the sharing of self with self in freely given love either in social or sexual intercourse. These things work quite directly upon the vitality. This instrument has a distortion towards appreciation of variety of experiences. This, in a less direct way, aids vitality.

Ra gave us a description of another way that Carla and I could enhance Carla’s vital energy during our sexual energy transfers in 73.22:

It is possible, as in the case of this instrument which dedicates itself to the service of the One Infinite Creator, to further refine this energy transfer. When the other-self also dedicates itself in service to the One Infinite Creator, the transfer is doubled. Then the amount of energy transferred is dependent only upon the amount of polarized sexual energy created and released. There are refinements from this point onward leading to the realm of the high sexual magic.

A third way that the sexual energy transfer worked to aid Carla in the Ra contact was that it increased her physical energy which was always low. In 87.27, Ra gave the general principle by which energy is transferred between a male and a female:

Due to the veiling process the energy transferred from male to female is different than that transferred from female to male. Due to the polarity difference of the mind/body/spirit complexes of male and female, the male stores physical energy; the female, mental and mental/emotional energy. When third-density sexual energy transfer is completed the male will have offered the discharge of physical energy. The female is, thereby, refreshed, having far less physical vitality. At the same time, if you will use this term, the female discharges the efflux of its stored mental and mental/emotional energy, thereby offering inspiration, healing, and blessing to the male which by nature is less vital in this area.

Ra said that each biological male is female, and each biological female is male, so I believe that any two entities—of any sexual orientation–who engage in sexual energy exchanges could experience the same transfer of energies that were mentioned in the above quote from Ra. However both entities’ heart chakra must be activated, and one entity expresses the male principle of reaching, and the other entity expresses the female principle of awaiting the reaching. Ra offered these principles in 92.20:

That which reaches may be seen as a male principle; that which awaits the reaching may be seen as a female principle.

And the same situation would hold true regarding the experience of the sacramental nature of any sexual energy transfer such as Ra describes in the following quote:

32.6 Questioner: My next question had to do with indigo ray. Is there any difference between indigo and blue-ray energy transfer?

Ra: I am Ra. The indigo ray is the ray of, shall we say, awareness of the Creator as self; thus one whose indigo-ray vibrations have been activated can offer the energy transfer of Creator to Creator. This is the beginning of the sacramental nature of what you call your bisexual reproductive act. It is unique in bearing the allness, the wholeness, the unity in its offering to other-self.

Ra said that the Creator exists in full in each iota of the creation, and that means that It exists in each of us as well. Each of us, no matter what our unique distortions, has a path to the one Creator within us as we are able to clear our energy centers and allow the intelligent energy, the love/light, of the Creator to rise to the indigo-ray energy center and open the gateway to contact with the intelligent infinity of the one Creator. When we are able to join with another in a sexual energy transfer we are engaging in the “sacramental nature of what you call your bisexual reproductive act.”This type of sexual energy transfer also moves any couple into the realms of high sexual magic and an “entire system of opening the gateway to intelligent infinity.” (84.20) Though Carla and I did not go further into the area of sexual magic than dedicating our sexual energy exchanges to the energizing of the Ra contact, I believe that the key to any couples’ practice of “high sexual magic” would be the dedication of each sexual energy exchange to some form of service to others or to the one Creator. This is how Carla described our sexual energy exchanges:

And as I told you in a talk yesterday, Jim and I had green-ray energy transfers from the first time that we ever opened ourselves to each other physically. But we didn’t have our blue ray open. And opening the blue ray between us took a decade, I’d say. It took awhile. So, once we began talking with each other [in blue ray], then we had the ability to move into the indigo ray and the ability to experience sacramental sex.

Now, I will admit that it sounds a little weird for somebody to burst into the Magnificat or the Te Deum Laudamus, which I do often, you know. “My soul doth magnify the Lord! My spirit hath rejoiced in God my savior!” And this is during sex, right?

But I think that the best prayer that I ever heard was one that Jim offered. He said, “Lord, I pray that our energy exchange may offer to you a life in love and a love of life.”

So, the enhancement that occurs when you invite the Creator into your energy exchange, into your sexuality, is enormously moving, intimate, and poignant. And the energy that’s exchanged becomes absolutely beautiful and golden. I can understand how those of Ra said that their sexual expression was fusion because they were creatures of light. They would go into the sun and have their sexual energy exchanges there and be part of the sunshine that is flowing on us. I’ve often had the image, when Mick and I were in a particularly intense state, that we were sunshine. And I encourage everybody, if you’re fortunate enough to have a mate to do this with, to take sex seriously; to spend, not a few minutes with it, but the evening. Set aside time. Put everything else aside and move up through the chakras.

Of course you have to be attracted to each other. That’s understood. You can’t really have a good sex life if you have to whip yourself into being attracted to each other. That’s not going to work! But given that you are attracted to each other in the first place and that a sexual energy exchange is feasible, you just move through your chakras.

I think the first one that you move into is orange ray. Whatever personal problems you have between you, talk them through with a glass of wine or some time at least to enjoy a good dinner and talk with each other. And then you move into yellow ray. If one is married, that’s where your dealing with sometimes very thorny issues of being married to each other, being basically a corporation that has a product—the household getting itself through life. And the problems that come up that are often very difficult because what do you with a mother-in-law that’s intransigent or a father-in-law that doesn’t respect you or—etc., etc.?

So, you talk through all these things and you become peaceful. There’s nothing more to talk about. Everything’s fine between you. And you move into the indigo ray and you just radiate to each other. A lot of times Jim will dance for me. He’s a wonderful dancer and I just glory in it because I’m sitting here, watching my priest-husband go. A lot of times he’ll open with a salute to the Creator and I can see this ball of light forming in between his hands. And then he begins to move and the ball becomes two ribbons of energy that he’s moving with his hands. It’s just wonderful and it opens me up to the place where I would want to be, where I truly see him as Man and he truly sees me as Woman. And we go from there and we play. And then when intelligent energy has been contacted there is the possibility of contact with intelligent infinity which Q’uo described in this quote:

Once an entity has reached the point where the heart is open and energy is flowing freely, he may then choose to move into the higher chakras. If he wishes to do work in consciousness such as meditation, healing, prayer or inspirational reading and reflection, he moves very consciously and deliberately into the indigo-ray chakra, the home of faith.

Here, one is always dealing with unseen things. In the indigo ray, one has left the physical body behind. The indigo ray is physically placed at the third eye position at which the Hindu monk will place a red dot, for in the Hindu system of belief there is a great appreciation of this chakra and it is believed by them, as well as us, that it is the gateway, the door, to direct contact with intelligent infinity, or as they would put it, the Creator.

Dwelling in indigo ray, the seeker begins to approach the gateway by the use of silence. It is necessary that the mind be still to a great extent so that the inspiration which is being sought may have room to flow into the chakra body through the violet ray and then the indigo, and then to be seated in the heart.

Once that connection has been made and there is a downflow of inspiration and information matching the upflow of the Creator’s energy, it is possible to work in consciousness simply by allowing that flow to occur and being aware consciously of that flow. For indeed you are seated in the midst of a beautiful fountain of light when the gateway is open and inspiration is moving in.

It is within the blessing of that presence that one takes up the work of that beau geste of seeking to know the truth, seeking to feel the insights that only come to a faithful and listening heart. Q’uo, November 24, 2007.

This morning I ran errands with my first stop at First Watch for a brunch of blueberry pancakes. My second stop was at Kroger’s to pick up some kitty litter and some bananas. My third stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market where I picked up some food for myself. My last stop was at Walgreen’s Drug Store where I picked up a prescription for myself.

This afternoon I completed the weeding of the Moss Garden and ended up with a five-gallon bucket of these little mound of grass type of weeds. Then I used my rake to rake up small tree limbs and my backpack blower to blow leaves in the front yard into piles that I put into two garbage cans for yard waste pickup Thursday.

Illumined From Within

I greet you in the perfect love of Jesus the Christ. I am of the principle of that love and am as the wind which blows the pollen of lively faith and strength to those who seek in quiet surety the boons which the consciousness of love may offer.

The spirit of love has many faces. One beautiful face is the face of serenity and peacefulness, of mist upon mountaintop and cloud upon valley. In the luminescent fog of spiritual seeking, few things are clear but all is shot through and illuminated from within.

May you trust in the internal source of light which is the spirit and move always in confidence, knowing that that face of the Creator, though silent, lies always with you and speaks in silence at dusk and dawn, noon and midnight.

Intelligent Energy

In the following question Don asked Ra to define intelligent infinity. As Ra did so they also introduced us to the term intelligent energy which is the result of the Free Will of the Creator which has decided to know Itself and create our universe by means of the functioning of this intelligent energy.  This infinite universe will eventually be full of intelligent forms of life that will provide the Creator the means to know Itself through their free will choices as they travel through the octave of densities back into unity with the one Creator. This decision by the Creator to know Itself begins by the Creator tapping the potential of intelligent infinity and creating intelligent energy which is a variant of intelligent infinity that may be able to do work, the work of creation of the universe. Ra gave more information on this process in the following quote.

27.5 Questioner: It is not necessary to divide it. The definition of intelligent infinity as one part is sufficient. Could you please now define intelligent infinity?

Ra: I am Ra. This is exponentially simpler and less confusing. There is unity. This unity is all that there is. This unity has a potential and kinetic. The potential is intelligent infinity. Tapping this potential will yield work. This work has been called by us, intelligent energy.

The nature of this work is dependent upon the particular distortion of Free Will which, in turn, is the nature of a particular intelligent energy, or kinetic focus, of the potential of unity, or that which is all.

So the work of the infinity of intelligent energies, which may be called Logoi, is to create the infinity of galaxies in the infinite universe. In the following quote Ra went into more detail about how this creative process is manifested:

13.13 Questioner: Was the galaxy that we are in created by the infinite intelligence, or was it created by a portion of the individualized infinite intelligence?

Ra: I am Ra. The galaxy, and all other things of material of which you are aware, are products of individualized portions of intelligent infinity. As each exploration began, it, in turn, found its focus and became co-Creator. Using intelligent infinity, each portion created an universe, and—allowing the rhythms of free choice to flow, playing with the infinite spectrum of possibilities—each individualized portion channeled the love/light into what you might call intelligent energy, thus creating the so-called natural laws of any particular universe.

Each universe, in turn, individualized to a focus, becoming, in turn, co-Creator, and allowing further diversity, thus creating further intelligent energies, regularizing or causing natural laws to appear in the vibrational patterns of what you would call a solar system. Thus, each solar system has its own, shall we say, local coordinate system of illusory natural laws.

It shall be understood that any portion, no matter how small, of any density or illusory pattern contains, as in an holographic picture, the One Creator which is infinity. Thus all begins and ends in mystery.

In this quote Ra said that each “individualized portion of intelligent infinity” became what we would call intelligent energy, or a Logos, as means by which the Creator could know Itself more fully, with greater variety and purity.

Within each galaxy are billions of stars, such as our sun body, which continue this creative process down to the level of a variety of planets in each solar system which would be the home of an infinite variety of life forms from the first through the seventh densities. However, it should be kept in mind that the originator of this infinite process of creation, the one infinite Creator, is, as Ra said, contained in each iota of the creation. This is truly a creative process of each Logos which “begins and ends in mystery.”

One of the mysteries for me is where was the Creator and what was It doing before It decided to know Itself? My best guess is that before intelligent infinity became aware of Itself, It may simply have been what we might call a state of beingness that was full of the coalesced experiences of all of Its infinite array of intelligences which completed the previous octave of experience. I would imagine that this state of beingness would be very full of the quality that we call joy, for Its desire to know Itself in the last octave of experience would have been fulfilled. Just a guess, mind you. And after this process of the coalescing of the previous octave of experience into a black hole in 13.16, Ra said that there was a timeless period in which another octave was born within a timeless period:

Questioner: Could you tell me about this first density of planetary entities?

Ra: I am Ra. Each step recapitulates intelligent infinity in its discovery of awareness. In a planetary environment all begins in what you would call chaos, energy undirected and random in its infinity. Slowly, in your terms of understanding, there forms a focus of self-awareness. Thus the Logos moves. Light comes to form the darkness, according to the co-Creator’s patterns and vibratory rhythms, so constructing a certain type of experience. This begins with first density which is the density of consciousness, the mineral and water life upon the planet learning from fire and wind the awareness of being. This is the first density.

As a footnote to this section I would like to comment that in 13.13, in the second quote of this section, Ra used the term “universe” to mean the same as “galaxy”.  In the first paragraph Ra spoke of the nature of “universes,” and then in the next paragraph described the next step of creation was a solar system. The “next step” after a Universe should be a galaxy, not a solar system. Ra made their definitive statement as to how many universes there are in 81.27:

There are Wanderers from other major galaxies drawn to the specific needs of a single call. There are those among our social memory complex which have become Wanderers in other major galaxies. Thus there has been knowledge of other major galaxies, for to one whose personality or mind/body/spirit complex has been crystallized the universe is one place and there is no bar upon travel.

However, when you have a galaxy like our Milky Way Galaxy with over 250 billion star systems in it, the difference between the universe and a galaxy seems pretty small to the human mind.

This afternoon I went outside and began to pull the little weeds that look like a small mound of grass out of the Moss Garden. We got three and one-half inches of rain three days ago, so the ground was still very damp, and the weeds came out roots and all. I put a plastic bag around my boot that supports my stress fracture, in order to keep the boot clean, and I put knee pads on in order to get half the Moss Garden weeded. There are a few bare spots here and there that will need to have more moss transplanted in the next few days.

Stop, Rest And Listen

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

Stop, rest and listen. Let these be the watchwords of your busy day.

Into this day there shall come those sounds which distract the senses, for the world of the city makes powerful noise with its engines and business.

And those who dwell in pastures, plains and mountain farmlands may hear too the distracting noises of nature, that noisy, joyful mistress of the Creator’s manifestation of love and service upon your planet.

Let not these sounds disturb and distract without using this energy to return and to remember love. May each distraction then become a prayer and each disharmony, harmony, by the realignment of the ear to inner silence.

For the peace of Jesus the Christ is not found without effort; without the turning of the will; without the remembering of the heart. Let these be your works when noise disturbs and clamor seems to overwhelm the senses. For you are strong within and, within, you tabernacle with the silence.

Carla’s goals for this chapter: I discuss the basic tools for working with silence to advance spiritual evolution. This builds upon previous chapters where we discuss the self as a crystal that can be tuned to a certain “station” or range of vibration.

Chapter Six: Blueprints and Projects for Going Deeper

Indigo-ray Work in Consciousness

Work within the indigo-ray energy center is the work of what Ra called the adept. The adept begins its journey after opening the heart in unconditional love and continues to move upward into the blue-ray chakra of clear communication with others and with the self. As it moves further into the blue-ray of inspiration the adept becomes like unto a co-Creator, and it radiates love and light in an outward fashion to all around it. All of this work is the result of a great deal of work in the disciplines of the personality in order to activate the indigo-ray energy center. That means that the adept is able to use its daily catalyst to achieve acceptance of itself not only as a balanced being but also as an entity of infinite worth, the one Creator. In this quote Q’uo describes the process of how we are able to accept ourselves and become an entity of infinite worth:

You now work with what we may call the cleaning-up phase of the indigo-ray work, which works with those attributes which you find less than desirable within yourself. You work to appreciate their nature, to appreciate yourself for having them working within your being, and as you work with accepting those, what you would call shortcomings, then you begin to accept the final portion of yourself that has heretofore remained outside of the sphere of your love and appreciation. As you are able to fully accept all characteristics within your being, and as you are able to see them as those portions that are appropriate as are all other portions within your character, then you will see yourself in a balanced configuration and will see the hand of the Creator moving within each sphere and characteristic of your life pattern. As the adept continues its work in consciousness it will investigate areas that are considered inner, hidden, or occult. The visible result of these studies can be contact with intelligent energy which may manifest in areas such as healing, teaching, and working for the Creator in ways that may be viewed as radiant and balanced. The radiance reflects the strong desire to serve the Creator in ways that are balanced in love and wisdom. Q’uo shared how the balancing of love and wisdom would aid our evolutionary process:

If you are excited and passionately energized by devotion to the one Creator and wish to sacrifice yourself and serve to the exclusion of all else, you are probably being called by love itself, that energy that this instrument knows as Jesus the Christ. There is much to learn from that energy of pure and unconditional love and, indeed, it is that central theme that calls everyone forward who wishes to graduate in service to others from third density to fourth density.

If you are passionately and actively involved in justice and fairness issues, it is likely that you are being called from the density of wisdom and being asked to examine the balance of these energies of wisdom within your own life. This energy is most positive, and yet, upon third-density Earth, the energies of fairness, equality and justice have been trammeled and mired in those lacks within entities to be able to see their own issues of unfairness and injustice.

If you are being called to examine the balance between love and wisdom, you are probably being called from sixth-density ideals.

It is not necessarily that you are a wanderer from fourth, fifth or sixth density, depending upon what excites you and makes you passionate. It is much more likely that there are energies within your plan for incarnation that are calling to you to focus on either pure love, pure wisdom, or achieving a better balance between love and wisdom in your decision-making.

It sometimes helps, in terms of seeing into your incarnational pattern and the lessons that you have set for yourself, to identify where your ruling passions lie. You gave yourself these passions and these concerns as a gift. They will tend to drive your experience. But also be aware, my friends, that if you have a love pattern, a wisdom pattern, or a unity pattern, you will have distortions which are offshoots of this basic bias in your studies and in your learning. The activation, balancing and crystallizing of the love, wisdom, and unity pattern is the path from the green ray of unconditional love of the heart chakra, through the blue ray of clear communication and inspiration of the throat chakra, to the indigo ray of the pineal gland and work in consciousness and contact with intelligent energy. A great deal of this work is done in meditation as we balance our daily catalyst or as we simply meditate in silence to listen to the Creator speak to us in thoughts too deep for words. This is the work of the adept or the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This afternoon I went over to southern Indiana to visit a dear friend of Carla’s and mine who has been living in a care home for the last three and one-half years due to two strokes she experienced in the summer of 2019 which have paralyzed her right leg and hand. I took along my usual dessert treat of cake and ice cream, and then I read to her from Carla’s A Wanderer’s Handbook. We enjoyed the concepts that Carla was discussing and agreed that it is difficult for a wanderer to always feel that it fits into the workaday world. Connie felt good enough today to escort me down the long hallway to the entrance using just her left foot to propel her wheelchair at a steady walking pace.

The Hardy And Careless Lover

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

What protection have you from the events and circumstances of this day? Do you indeed need protection? Must umbrellas keep you from the rain of internal weather? Must you indeed armor yourself so that you never shiver, so that you are never cold or miserable? Are these estates indeed to be so avoided?

Perhaps it is better to see oneself as a hardy and careless lover of all conditions of life and take no thought for the umbrella, the warm coat, and all the armor of emotion.

It is often said, “Fear not, for I am with you.” We are of the principle of Jesus the Christ. And when this entity said, “Fear not,” He did not suggest that you would not be rained upon or shiver from the cold but only that you would not be alone or overwhelmed by experience.

Stride forth, then, into the world, recognizing its difficulties and affirming them in peace.

How to make The Choice

The first book that Carla wrote in this series of books was titled Living the Law of One 101: The Choice. Now, in this third book in the series we come back to making The Choice for anyone who has not yet made this choice. We take a look at making The Choice ethically and continuously. In this quote from 101 Carla asked us to image what feelings and thoughts we would have as we leave this incarnation and rejoin our soul stream:

Do you hope to have graduated? If so, the way of doing that is simple and straightforward. Make the First Choice. Make it with all of your heart. Decide that in this lifetime you will stand for love. You will be an agent of the love of the infinite Creator. When you fall down and make errors, you will pick yourself up and start over.

If you can make that simple commitment to intending with all of your heart to be an ethical being, by your very intention you have just reached a service-to-others polarity that will allow you to graduate. The change in vibration is instantaneous.

Please do not be discouraged when you fail to keep this promise to yourself on occasion or fall down in some way, according to your own judgment, after you make this promise to yourself. Humans err. Remember the old adage, “To err is human: to forgive; divine.” Make it a point to forgive yourself, even as you vow not to make the same mistake again.

For me, the most important realization that I have had concerning making The Choice is that in order for it to be most powerful in my life it is a choice that I must continue to make each day of my life. I agree with Carla that our first making of this choice definitely changes our vibration positively, but I think that we can double and continuously redouble the power of this choice by making it every day. This choice needs to become the glue that holds our lives together on a perpetual basis. It needs to be the foundation stone up which we build the structure of our lives. Just as our bodies need food each day in order to remain alive and functioning, our souls need this daily commitment from our minds and our hearts that continues to feed us as mind/body/spirit complexes. In this quote Q’uo recommends that The Choice is a continuous process of choosing:

We have chosen service to others, and would speak to you of it and would encourage you to consider not only making the choice, which as we have said, each of you to a greater or lesser extent have already done, but also to press forward, then, in investigating the ramifications of the one original Thought of the Creator, for how does that one original Thought think and manifest in the life of one who wishes to serve others?

Our brothers and sisters of Hatonn have spoken to you of peace. Love, of course, is the principle upon which the concept of peace rests. However, like many expressions of love, the achieving and maintaining of peace among brothers and sisters within third density is not made easy by the illusion which you now enjoy. Peace is perhaps best achieved by dwelling upon the nature and filling oneself with the presence of the one original Thought, and out of the love you bear for love itself, you then open yourself in love, and as a channel for the Creator’s love, your own love will aid you in serving those around you.

Now, to open yourself in love to those who are disharmonious seems to be an act of folly, and yet let us look at flowers. They open their faces in love to the sun which offers them the light of its countenance and the love of its radiation, and yet they do not withhold their perfume from any being. There is no judgment upon the part of [a] flower as to who shall receive its gifts of beauty.

You yourself are crystalline and many-petaled and capable of a great radiance. Yet, if you only open to those whom you already love, you are not a flower who has centered upon the one original Thought. Open, then, in love as a channel, for we do not recommend that you depend upon that limited supply of love which your illusory personality can offer you, and love those who seem to wish you, if not harm, then at least quarrelsomeness.

The nature of service to others is such that you will find again and again that you have nothing to offer except your very being. And yet, my friends, if you will investigate the nature of the one original Thought, you will discover that your consciousness, your attention, your sympathy, your compassion, your attempt to understand, is the most precious service you can offer.

It is not given you to act on instinct. That is where the analogy to the flower breaks down completely, for you are not preordained to do or be anything. All choices are yours, and you may make and remake them again and again, softening, firming, rearranging, adjusting. My friends, in this incarnation you shall go through many phases. You shall change your mind many times about the finer points of your spiritual search for truth, and yet we feel that it may well be that you will find that the heart of that journey shall remain as you first discovered it with the excitement and the joy of an explorer discovering a new continent or ocean.

The core of choice is love. There is nothing lukewarm about love itself, and as you refine your choice, remember the power of that with which you are dealing, for you deal with something that has created all that you can see and all that you cannot see. It has created all—from stars to relationships, stones to the concepts of beauty and truth. You would not wish to take such power and toss it casually here and there, a fire hose sprinkled hither and yon upon a town that is not burning. No, my friends, you wish to take something that you sense is at the center of light, that you wish to make the center of your own life. You wish to hone it, to sharpen it, to discover and rediscover the joy of it and to be channels for it, learning more and more about the original Thought as you manifest it to yourself by manifesting it to others. Now, as Carla said—and Q’uo affirmed–making The Choice with our whole heart does not mean that there will never be a time that we will fall down and fail to do our best at keeping this promise to ourselves. These seeming failures are a part of every Player’s experience because we will still be learning our pre-incarnative lessons until the day that we pass from this illusion. Learning lessons always takes time and includes what we call errors as part of the learning curve. Falling down, or failing in some way, in our own eyes, to live our choice is simply a step along the way that gives us a better idea of how to correct the error and perfect our practice of serving others. Loving and forgiving ourselves for these errors will get us back on the path of service the quickest. The ethics of making and re-making The Choice are always in our intentions. We cannot always know what the right thing to do is in all situations. All we can know is that we whole-heartedly intend to serve others and the one Creator in all things and at all times as Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning I ran some errands, and the first stop was at Feeder’s Supply where I bought some food for the cats. My second stop was a Nothing Bundt Cake where I bought a snickerdoodle cake to share with my friend, Connie, tomorrow who is in a care home in Southern Indiana. My third stop was at Paul’ Fruit Market where I bought some food for myself. When I got home I vacuumed the first floor of the house.

Unexpected Messengers of Love

I am the spirit of love and I greet you in the consciousness of Christ.

It is given to us to come down like rain upon the thirsty souls of those who seek to winnow light from darkness and spread the darkness in the nether regions, exalting light to shine forth across the great sky of planetary consciousness.

The powerful light-focusing abilities of the spirit are not predictable, for the spirit of love has within It whisperings of love’s wisdom which often turn the impulses of those overshadowed by love in ways which may seem devious. Yet it is love’s way to employ the seemingly crooked path from time to time in order that love may break through in an entirely new place and in a completely new way. The serpent in Eden was a messenger of love.

Pride and the spirit’s health

 “There is the challenge, then, to find a way off of the Ferris wheel or the merry-go-round of judging the self to be prideful or striving to be more humble. How, when one has felt one’s prideful ownership of that which is the Creator’s, does this seeker step off of the merry-go-round which rolls between the dynamics of pride and humility? It is a daring suggestion, but we do suggest that there is sometimes a need for the benign neglect of one’s powers of inward perception. Thinking about being less prideful is merely an engraving mechanism for etching even deeper into the consciousness the concept of one’s being prideful and seeking humility. Once one feels one has become humble that very statement is a prideful statement. Like all dynamic opposites of the spiritual life, the way away from the dilemma is by turning from both extremes towards the infinite Creator’s love, allowing the train of the mind to chug away into the far distance and be gone so that the silent inner countryside of the heart and the spirit may be full of the silence into which love comes. And from which the seeker may be transformed into that which love shines through. Q’uo, March 13, 1993

It is so easy to feel pride in one’s achievements or in some quality or ability that reveals talent in an area of endeavor that is valued by the self or others. I would guess that all of us have been raised with the dual nature of rewards and punishments. As children we learned how to behave through being rewarded with smiles when we behaved in a desired way, and we were punished with frowns and harsh words of criticism when our thoughts or behavior were not desired by parents, teachers, or friends. From these first seeds of positive and negative judgment we learned how to do this to ourselves.

When we succeed in any endeavor we are likely to reward ourselves with a good feeling that could easily be seen as pride. When we fail, in our own estimation, we tend to partake of some degree of feeling humbled or humiliated. Thus we ride on the merry-go-round that Q’uo speaks of in the quote above. Q’uo recommended that we should consider getting off of that ride because it is not taking us anywhere that allows our spirits to feel healthy and loving.

So how do we get off of the merry-go-round of pride and humility? Q’uo suggested we exercise “benign neglect of one’s powers of inward perception”.  If we allow ourselves to be caught between wishing to be less prideful and hoping to achieve more humility, we are just trapping ourselves in an endless cycle of judgement because wishing to feel more humble could also be full of pride if we ever feel that we have become more humble. Being proud of feeling more humble just gives us another reason to feel pride.

Instead of concerning ourselves with either pride or humility, Q’uo recommended that we forget both of these mental exercises and give ourselves over to the Creator’s love that flows ever more freely in the silence of our open hearts. In this way we may become transformed into Players who let love shine through them just as sunlight becomes a rainbow when shining through a diamond crystal.

Hatonn also spoke of how pride and humility can give way to a larger perspective of our true being when then said:

And, my friends, this vibration of love, this vibration of compassion will transform your life into that of the Kingdom of Heaven. It is a matter of balancing between two opposite attitudes in your seeking. There are two dangers, and we [say] this with a sense of humor, for the dangers are not real. It is the balancing between them that causes your progress. These two dangers, my friends, are pride and humility. Woe be unto the man who begins to feel that it is his love that is setting those about him on the path of light, that [it] is his compassion that is such a light to others. Woe be unto this man, for the love of the personality is limited. It will run out, and in its wake will come much sadness.

Woe also to the person who says, “I am unworthy. In my humility I must admit I cannot be a fit channel for the love of the Creator. Do not expect me to keep trying the impossible, for I am not worthy, and I cannot do this.”

In neither case, my friends, have you quite hit the balance. And if you find yourself in either the pride or the humility, balance between confidence and the knowledge of your own imperfections as a personality. You see, both of these things are true, and neither of them matter. You are a channel through which the Creator may express Himself. The Creator is love, and His expression is love. When you see someone, to your outer eye, he may be nothing but, shall we say, a very common-looking or even unpleasant piece of stone. A large rock, awkward and peculiarly colored. Yet to the eye within, the eye of love, this rock will be the shape which the master may carve from the rock so that it becomes a beautiful statue, a statue with beautiful lines and coloration, with all the potential of that piece of rock set free in beauty of line. People are both their raw materials and the possibility of perfection. It is the Creator Who causes these possibilities to become manifest in the physical world.

You cannot do it—of course not. You can only say to the Creator, “Please, live this moment for me. Allow my eyes to shine with your light.”

It is to the outer eye a very dark world. Darkness is all about you. My friends, within the darkness, there is light. If you wish to allow it to shine forth, it can never be denied. The light may not light up all of the darkness, but where you are, it will be light, if you allow it to be so. Picture your eyes as windows, and make sure the shades are up, so that the light may shine through. The shades are made of prejudice, judgment, petty feelings and negativity of all kinds. Your personality has been given to you so that you may work these things out. Again and again, you will find yourself pulling the shades down. Always it is the precise moment of now that is important. If you have been in error, simply choose at this moment to release that error, and let the shades up, and let the light shine through. This morning I took Boscoe to the vet to have his blood sugars tested to see if we need to change his daily dosage of insulin that treats his diabetes. The lab results should come back by tomorrow. On the way home I stopped at Speedway to get some gas for Stanley, and then made an appointment at Walgreen’s to get a shingles vaccination tomorrow as per the recommendation of my PCP during my yearly physical with her yesterday.

Be Of Good Cheer

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

This day is a gift that is full of life. Your senses would have you believe that there is much that is not alive or responsive to the radiance of love. On the contrary, mindfulness of the radiant love of the Father is as relevant and important to the soul’s health in the picking up of a speck of dust as it is in the preparation of the finest treatise or most charitable action.

All things live in the consciousness of love and all things respond to your radiance, which can only come through you as you are mindful of the infinite Father.

Thus, be of good cheer, not compartmentalizing the day or hurrying through a chore which seems less important than another. For all is equally important to the conscious seeker of love.

In 34.9, Ra introduces the way in which most spiritual seekers of truth view the political process:

 Questioner: Thank you. Would you give me the same type of information about the self in relation to the societal self?

Ra: I am Ra. The unmanifested self may find its lessons those which develop any of the energy influx centers of the mind/body/spirit complex. The societal and self interactions most often concentrate upon the second and third energy centers. Thus those most active in attempting to remake or alter the society are those working from feelings of being correct personally, or of having answers which will put power in a more correct configuration. This may be seen to be of a full travel from negative to positive in orientation. Either will activate these energy ray centers.

There are some few whose desires to aid society are of a green-ray nature or above. These entities, however, are few due to the understanding, may we say, of fourth ray that universal love freely given is more to be desired than principalities, or even the rearrangement of peoples or political structures.

The above quote by Ra is echoed very clearly in Q’uo’s quote below:

The governments of your people, however, are not at all focused on peace, contentment or compassion. Those in political power have become able to hold the positions which they hold because they have laid aside what they consider to be naive and overly innocent hopes. They have accepted that they cannot be men of complete integrity, in the usual sense, if they wish to serve the state. The organization and arrangement of power is specifically and universally service-to-self upon your planet.

There are those entities who, vibrating in green ray and blue ray, attempt most sincerely to change the atmosphere in which business is conducted at the level of nation-states. However, these entities are either weeded out completely by their inability to accept a system which is corrupt and to work within that, or they become useless in terms of making a change from within governmental systems because they have become used to the perquisites of power and have begun to think in a service-to-self way, while rationalizing to themselves that all that they do is for the greater good. They become more and more separated from any stream of pure metaphysical integrity by their own choices until they can no longer remember what it feels like to make a purely positive response to challenging catalyst.

Indeed, my brother, the entities who are in power among your nation-states are focused upon those goals that have been the habitual goals of people in power upon your planet for millennia. Those goals are the goals of your great ape ancestors. They revolve around a love of their family and their tribe. When they have defined their tribe, then they attempt to defend their tribe’s property and acreage and to gather resources so that their tribe may fare well in a world of diminishing resources. They have been in power before, perhaps many times, and have developed the habit of an unceasing thirst for power. And this they shall not yield in order to make room for service-to-others goals such as true liberty, true equality, true justice, and a truly equitable distribution of the resources of your planet. The tendency of politicians to bend the rules, to distort information, and to outright lie in order to gain power and pass laws that favor their point of view is such an accepted pattern of behavior that it is not a surprise when such behaviors are revealed from time to time in all parties. When Carla was in college she took a political science class where a mock election was held to give students experience in taking part in the political process. One of her fellow students turned out later in life to become a very famous national politician who held office for many years. Carla caught him cheating in the mock election and called him on his lies. He told her straight out that unless you learned to lie effectively you could never expect to have any success in politics. I could be wrong, but that sounds to me like a very effective way for a politician to use the blue-ray to control and enslave those who do not believe as they believe.

In the following quote Q’uo speaks of the general nature of the political use of power to be towards the negative:

Thusly, entities who wish to be movers and shakers on the world scene, as this instrument would say, cultivate personal power. They find ways to have influence over others. They find ways to manipulate others. They find ways to accomplish the goals that they have chosen. The metaphysical or ethical value of such goals is nearly always quite mixed and this is why we place this subjective type of power in a separate category.

By and large, when people think about power, they think neither of physical strength nor metaphysical strength, but about the somewhat sticky and quite complicated ways of political and economic power, power meaning influence, power meaning the ability to press one’s will on others. Thusly, when we speak of the right use of power, we wish to be clear that we are not speaking of the worldly ability to wield influence in the halls of economic and political decision making. Were we to speak on that subject, we would not be able to bring metaphysical and spiritual principles to bear. Rather, we would be speaking of the virtues of the service-to-self polarity as opposed to service-to-others polarity. Q’uo, November 21, 2009.

This morning I ran errands with my first stop being the Rainbow Blossom Health Food Store where I bought some supplements for myself. My second stop was at First Watch where I had a blueberry pancake and milk. My third stop was at PetCo where I bought Salmon Greenie Pouches for Mr. Mush. My last stop was at Porter Paints where a bought a gallon of exterior white latex paint and three rollers for painting the back of the garage.

The Kingdom Of Words

I am the spirit of the consciousness of love and I greet you in the name of Jesus the Christ.

There is a difficulty in the way in which we make ourselves known through this instrument. That difficulty extends to any who values too highly the citizens of the kingdom of words, for words do not equal understanding, nor is any number of words enough to grant the seeker entry to the kingdom of heaven.

When the spirit of Christ moves purely, It moves without concept and is, rather, the clean, clear wind of Logos, a Thought which remains unmanifest regardless of how many manifestations may shape themselves through free will from the living light furnished by love.

Depend not upon words and, even more, depend not upon created words from within your own being, for there are many ways in which the seeker after truth may build houses which seem to hold truth, houses of words and concepts which rise high yet fall as would cards when the wind of the spirit blows across the construction of your Earthly life.

Seek first the attitude change which comes from the contact with the spirit of love.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 103 quote comes from Chapter Five and the concept of political spillover on work in consciousness:

Political spill-over on work in consciousness

The generally accepted definition of politics in government is the tendency of people who are living in groups to make decisions. It is a natural way of being to have different points of view expressed in any such grouping, whether local, state, or national, as people tend to join with others who feel as they do. Within such groups, which we now call political parties, there are arguments or campaigns created to convince enough people that a certain proposition of one party or another should be established as a law that everyone would thereafter observe. However, this entire process has a certain quality of control over people that is often of a negatively-oriented nature as Don and Ra mentioned in 83.14:

Questioner: I would say that a very high percentage of the laws and restrictions within what we call our legal system are of a nature of enslavement of which I just spoke. Would you agree with this?

Ra: I am Ra. It is a necessary balance to the intention of law, which is to protect, that the result would encompass an equal distortion towards imprisonment. Therefore, we may say that your supposition is correct.

This is not to denigrate those who, in green- and blue-ray energies, sought to free a peaceable people from the bonds of chaos but only to point out the inevitable consequences of codification of response which does not recognize the uniqueness of each and every situation within your experience.

According to Ra, this situation of enslavement, being a primary portion of the desire of laws to protect people, is almost inevitable because it does not take into account the fact that each and every situation that people create by their interactions is unique, and, if true justice for all was ever to be part of the interaction of people, you would probably need a number of laws to recognize this uniqueness rather than just one. Of course there is never an effort made to do this because it would be impossible to categorize the many varieties of people in any area and meet their needs with the appropriate laws. All of the aforementioned discussion of politics is also assuming an approach that is not spiritually-oriented and which utilizes the orange- and yellow-ray energy centers exclusively. There has been no green- or blue-ray energy centers invoked thus far in this discussion as these energy centers are rare in the political arena. In 34.9, Ra introduces the way in which most spiritual seekers of truth view the political process:

 Questioner: Thank you. Would you give me the same type of information about the self in relation to the societal self?

In the final paragraph Ra mentioned that there would be some entities within any culture who would seek to be of service in the political arena by exercising the green ray of unconditional love and the blue ray of freely given communication and inspiration. But then Ra added that such entities were rare because they would be more likely to use their green-ray understandings to share love with all people, without conditions, rather than oppose some by remaking society in a way that would serve more people but not all people. Ra seems to be saying that it is the very nature of the political process of opposing points of view being decided by majority vote that does not have the capacity to realize, for example, the highest of ideals such as were expressed by Abraham Lincoln in his second inaugural address when he attempted to heal the wounds of a nation torn apart by the Civil War. It is well to remember that Lincoln was a walk-in, a fourth-density entity, who agreed to live out Lincoln’s incarnation from the point that it became too difficult for Lincoln to do himself.

With malice toward none, with charity for all, with firmness in the right as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in, to bind up the nation’s wounds, to care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow and his orphan, to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace among ourselves and with all nations.

In 35.1, Ra used Franklin D. Roosevelt as an example of a political leader who attained the office of President of the United States during WWII and who was able to work in green and blue-ray energies:

The one known as Franklin developed very quickly up through red, orange, yellow, and green and began to work in the blue-ray energy center at a tender age, as you would say. This rapid growth was due, firstly, to previous achievements in the activation of these rays; secondly, to the relative comfort and leisure of its early existence; thirdly, due to the strong desire upon the part of the entity to progress. This entity mated with an entity whose blue-ray vibrations were of a strength more than equal to its own thus acquiring catalyst for further growth in that area that was to persist throughout the incarnation.

This entity had some difficulty with continued green-ray activity due to the excessive energy which was put into the activities regarding other-selves in the distortion towards acquiring power. This was to have its toll upon the physical vehicle, as you may call it. The limitation of the non-movement of a portion of the physical vehicle opened once again, for this entity, the opportunity for concentration upon the more, shall we say, universal or idealistic aspects of power; that is, the non-abusive use of power. Thus at the outset of a bellicose action this entity had lost some positive polarity due to excessive use of the orange- and yellow-ray energies at the expense of green- and blue-ray energies, then had regained the polarity due to the catalytic effects of a painful limitation upon the physical complex.

This entity was not of a bellicose nature but rather during the conflict continued to vibrate in green ray working with the blue-ray energies. The entity who was the one known as Franklin’s teacher also functioned greatly during this period as blue-ray activator, not only for its mate but also in a more universal expression. This entity polarized continuously in a positive fashion in the universal sense while, in a less universal sense, developing a pattern of what may be called karma; this karma having to do with inharmonious relationship distortions with the mate/teacher.

So the orange- and especially the yellow-ray efforts to “remake or alter society” are limited to being able to share feelings of being “correct personally” and putting power in a “more correct configuration”. And, of course, the problem here is taking everyone’s needs into account rather than utilizing uniform laws to govern all situations. This tends to lead to the negatively-oriented nature of politics and laws as Ra stated in 87.8:

Questioner: A reflection of this could be seen in our density in many of those leaders that instigate war and have followers who support, in total conviction that the direction of conquest is correct. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. Any organization which demands obedience without question upon the basis of relative power is functioning according to the above-described plan.

When you think about how many organizations do require “obedience without question,” it almost seems like most of our society is so governed. Certainly the military fits perfectly into this mold, and most businesses do to a lesser degree as employees are often able to make suggestions that may be accepted by their bosses. The educational system is also in this category but with a bit more chance for employees to suggest refinements to how they carry out their jobs as teachers. These areas are definitely examples of the flat gameboard of life where free will is significantly restricted.

This afternoon I went outside and decided to clean the side of the garage that also had the combination of dirt and moss growing on it as the areas around the two entrances had before I cleaned them yesterday. Today I changed my technique of cleaning by first using a bucket of water and wet mop to get the majority of dirt and moss off the garage. Then I got my hose out of the basement and put a spray nozzle on it to spray the dirt and moss slime off of the garage. My final step was to use the wet mop to clean up the very bottom of the metal. I also discovered that the back of the garage, which is made of wood, needed some cleaning so I used the hose to spray some of it clean and also to chip off some of the old paint. Eventually I will have to repaint this area.

The Power Of Love

I come upon this instrument as the principle of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the divine love of perfect consciousness and peace.

How strong are your hands, how able your minds, and how you glory in your energies and your abilities! Remove your attention from these things for but a moment and find yourself prostrate before the power of love.

This is a day among your people devoted to love. And each chooses to give love to others. In your prostration, realize the true nature of love, which has not to do with ability or strength or any manner of human usefulness. But rest all your confidence in the infinite compassion and love which is the true nature of that love you so desire to give and receive.

Feel that love and compassion pour through you. Abandon yourself to it and become an instrument of it. And as you receive this consolation, so the face of the earth may be renewed.

The context of the times of Jesus and His Ministry

In this quote Ra gave us a number of details that reflect the tenor of the times of Jesus and how this affected His behavior:

“When the entity Jehoshua decided to return to the location called Jerusalem for the holy days of its people, it turned from work mixing love and wisdom and embraced martyrdom, which is the work of love without wisdom.

The “Hosanna,” as it is termed, and the following “Benedictus,” is that which is the written summation of what was shouted as Jehoshua came into the place of its martyrdom. The general acceptance of this shout– “Hosanna to the son of David! Hosanna in the highest! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”—by that which is called the church has been a misstatement of occurrence which has been, perhaps, unfortunate, for it is more distorted than much of the so-called Mass.

There were two factions present to greet Jehoshua, firstly, a small group of those which hoped for an earthly king. However, Jehoshua rode upon an ass stating by its very demeanor that it was no earthly king, and wished no fight with Roman or Sadducee.

The greater number were those which had been instructed by rabbi and elder to make jest of this entity, for those of the hierarchy feared this entity who seemed to be one of them, giving respect to their laws, and then, in their eyes, betraying those time-honored laws and taking the people with it. Ra, 75.14

Here Ra said that up until the time that Jesus returned to Jerusalem to carry out his life’s mission that he was pursuing a path which reflected wisdom and compassion. By the age of thirteen Jesus had already become a rabbi of the Jewish faith as Ra mentioned in 17.20:

This entity studied first day and night in its own religious constructs which you call Judaism and was learned enough to be a rabbi, as you call the teach/learners of this particular rhythm or distortion of understanding, at a very young age.

This suggests that he was exercising his blue-ray chakra in order to share this wisdom with others of the Jewish faith in group discussions in the Temple gatherings. Then the lost years of Jesus occurred during which he traveled into many foreign lands in order to learn the ways of other philosophies which Ra discussed in 17.20:

At the age of approximately thirteen and one-half of your years, this entity left the dwelling place of its earthly family, as you would call it, and walked into many other places seeking further information. This went on sporadically until the entity was approximately twenty-five, at which time it returned to its family dwelling, and learned and practiced the art of its earthly father.

When the entity had become able to integrate or synthesize all experiences, the entity began to speak to other-selves and teach/learn what it had felt during the preceding years to be of an worthwhile nature.

This would also involve the blue-ray chakra in learning and practicing the esoteric tenets that he felt were of value. Many times during his ministry Jesus would meditate to determine what his course of action should be, thinking that his ultimate goal of following the martyr’s path might be upon him. But time and time again he received the message, “It is not yet the hour” as Ra said in 84.4:

This entity incarnated with the plan of martyrdom. There is no wisdom in this plan but rather understanding and compassion extended to its fullest perfection. The one known as Jehoshua would have been less than fully understanding of its course had it chosen to follow its will at any space/time during its teachings. Several times, as you call this measure, this entity had the possibility of moving towards the martyr’s place which was, for that martyr, Jerusalem. Yet in meditation this entity stated, time and again, “It is not yet the hour.”

Eventually he felt that the hour had come, and in the quote above Ra said that when Jesus entered Jerusalem, where he knew what his fate would be, that he rode upon an “ass” (donkey) “stating by its very demeanor that it was no earthly king, and wished no fight with Roman or Sadducee.” The Romans ruled the Holy Land at this time and were quick to crack down upon any supposed prophets or religious leaders who might initiate an insurrection against them. Jesus made it clear to them that he was no threat in that regard.

The Sadducees and Pharisees were Jewish leaders who feared Jesus because, as Ra said, Jesus “seemed to be one of them, giving respect to their laws, and then, in their eyes, betraying those time-honored laws and taking the people with it.” So the way that the Jewish hierarchy dealt with Jesus’s return to Jerusalem for the holy days of his people was to direct the people who greeted him to “make jest of this entity.” With such overwhelming power and numbers of people arrayed against him—and with Jesus himself refusing to defend himself with his blue-ray of inspiration and committing totally to the way of love to the point of martyrdom–it is not a surprise that he was crucified as if he were a common thief. Thusly did the religious authorities of Jesus’s time have a powerful influence on the spiritual work of Jesus the Christed One.

This morning I went to see my gastroenterologist and discovered that even though testing shows that I have a hiatal hernia that no surgery will be necessary, but I will need to get off of the pantoprazole that I have been taking for years as it can cause bone density problems.

This afternoon I went outside and used the backpack blower to blow all of the leaves out of the garage, and then I put them in a garbage can for yard waste pickup. Then I used a couple of wet rags to clean the metal on the sides of the entrance into the garage. It seemed like a combination of dirt and a light moss that had accumulated there, so the metal now is a nice light white.

Love Overwhelms All Details

I who greet you in the full consciousness of love am of the principle of Jesus the Christ.

It is the wish of love that each of you should partake abundantly in the waters of blessed life and happiness. Yet perfect happiness is like strong wine, excellent to some and too strong for others. For the happiness of the peaceful and love-filled spirit is one rounded with sorrows and other shadows, yet shot through with the gleam of recognized love.

Thusly, even if one gazes at a battlefield or at any seeming disaster, one still has the opportunity to call upon the spirit of love. For in

Christ’s name even a blood-strewn battlefield may contain the shape of peace and love. The nature of spiritual consciousness is such that love overwhelms all details and by its warming hues makes glad the hearts of those who gaze upon bleak things. Let your happiness, therefore, lie within the spirit of love and the consciousness of Jesus the Christ.

We leave you in true peace, that peace which cannot be disturbed by misfortune. Amen.
