I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 103 quote comes from Chapter Five and the section on the context of the times of Jesus and His ministry:

The context of the times of Jesus and His Ministry

In this quote Ra gave us a number of details that reflect the tenor of the times of Jesus and how this affected His behavior:

“When the entity Jehoshua decided to return to the location called Jerusalem for the holy days of its people, it turned from work mixing love and wisdom and embraced martyrdom, which is the work of love without wisdom.

The “Hosanna,” as it is termed, and the following “Benedictus,” is that which is the written summation of what was shouted as Jehoshua came into the place of its martyrdom. The general acceptance of this shout– “Hosanna to the son of David! Hosanna in the highest! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”—by that which is called the church has been a misstatement of occurrence which has been, perhaps, unfortunate, for it is more distorted than much of the so-called Mass.

There were two factions present to greet Jehoshua, firstly, a small group of those which hoped for an earthly king. However, Jehoshua rode upon an ass stating by its very demeanor that it was no earthly king, and wished no fight with Roman or Sadducee.

The greater number were those which had been instructed by rabbi and elder to make jest of this entity, for those of the hierarchy feared this entity who seemed to be one of them, giving respect to their laws, and then, in their eyes, betraying those time-honored laws and taking the people with it. Ra, 75.14

Here Ra said that up until the time that Jesus returned to Jerusalem to carry out his life’s mission that he was pursuing a path which reflected wisdom and compassion. By the age of thirteen Jesus had already become a rabbi of the Jewish faith as Ra mentioned in 17.20:

This entity studied first day and night in its own religious constructs which you call Judaism and was learned enough to be a rabbi, as you call the teach/learners of this particular rhythm or distortion of understanding, at a very young age.

This suggests that he was exercising his blue-ray chakra in order to share this wisdom with others of the Jewish faith in group discussions in the Temple gatherings. Then the lost years of Jesus occurred during which he traveled into many foreign lands in order to learn the ways of other philosophies which Ra discussed in 17.20:

At the age of approximately thirteen and one-half of your years, this entity left the dwelling place of its earthly family, as you would call it, and walked into many other places seeking further information. This went on sporadically until the entity was approximately twenty-five, at which time it returned to its family dwelling, and learned and practiced the art of its earthly father.

When the entity had become able to integrate or synthesize all experiences, the entity began to speak to other-selves and teach/learn what it had felt during the preceding years to be of an worthwhile nature.

This would also involve the blue-ray chakra in learning and practicing the esoteric tenets that he felt were of value. Many times during his ministry Jesus would meditate to determine what his course of action should be, thinking that his ultimate goal of following the martyr’s path might be upon him. But time and time again he received the message, “It is not yet the hour” as Ra said in 84.4:

This entity incarnated with the plan of martyrdom. There is no wisdom in this plan but rather understanding and compassion extended to its fullest perfection. The one known as Jehoshua would have been less than fully understanding of its course had it chosen to follow its will at any space/time during its teachings. Several times, as you call this measure, this entity had the possibility of moving towards the martyr’s place which was, for that martyr, Jerusalem. Yet in meditation this entity stated, time and again, “It is not yet the hour.”

Eventually he felt that the hour had come, and in the quote above Ra said that when Jesus entered Jerusalem, where he knew what his fate would be, that he rode upon an “ass” (donkey) “stating by its very demeanor that it was no earthly king, and wished no fight with Roman or Sadducee.” The Romans ruled the Holy Land at this time and were quick to crack down upon any supposed prophets or religious leaders who might initiate an insurrection against them. Jesus made it clear to them that he was no threat in that regard.

The Sadducees and Pharisees were Jewish leaders who feared Jesus because, as Ra said, Jesus “seemed to be one of them, giving respect to their laws, and then, in their eyes, betraying those time-honored laws and taking the people with it.” So the way that the Jewish hierarchy dealt with Jesus’s return to Jerusalem for the holy days of his people was to direct the people who greeted him to “make jest of this entity.” With such overwhelming power and numbers of people arrayed against him—and with Jesus himself refusing to defend himself with his blue-ray of inspiration and committing totally to the way of love to the point of martyrdom–it is not a surprise that he was crucified as if he were a common thief. Thusly did the religious authorities of Jesus’s time have a powerful influence on the spiritual work of Jesus the Christed One.

This morning I went to see my gastroenterologist and discovered that even though testing shows that I have a hiatal hernia that no surgery will be necessary, but I will need to get off of the pantoprazole that I have been taking for years as it can cause bone density problems.

This afternoon I went outside and used the backpack blower to blow all of the leaves out of the garage, and then I put them in a garbage can for yard waste pickup. Then I used a couple of wet rags to clean the metal on the sides of the entrance into the garage. It seemed like a combination of dirt and a light moss that had accumulated there, so the metal now is a nice light white.

Love Overwhelms All Details

I who greet you in the full consciousness of love am of the principle of Jesus the Christ.

It is the wish of love that each of you should partake abundantly in the waters of blessed life and happiness. Yet perfect happiness is like strong wine, excellent to some and too strong for others. For the happiness of the peaceful and love-filled spirit is one rounded with sorrows and other shadows, yet shot through with the gleam of recognized love.

Thusly, even if one gazes at a battlefield or at any seeming disaster, one still has the opportunity to call upon the spirit of love. For in

Christ’s name even a blood-strewn battlefield may contain the shape of peace and love. The nature of spiritual consciousness is such that love overwhelms all details and by its warming hues makes glad the hearts of those who gaze upon bleak things. Let your happiness, therefore, lie within the spirit of love and the consciousness of Jesus the Christ.

We leave you in true peace, that peace which cannot be disturbed by misfortune. Amen.

The Parable of The Prodigal Son

(Luke 15:11-32)

Then Jesus said, There was a man who had two sons. The younger of them said to his father, ‘Father give me the share of the property that will belong to me.’ So he divided his property between them. A few days later the younger son gathered all he had and traveled to a distant country, and there he squandered his property in dissolute living. When he had spent everything, a severe famine took place throughout that country, and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed the pigs. He would gladly have filled himself with the pods that the pigs were eating; and no one gave him anything. But when he came to himself he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired hands have bread enough and to spare, but here I am dying of hunger! I will get up and go to my father, and I will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son; treat me like one of your hired hands. So he set off and went to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion; he ran and put his arms around him and kissed him. Then the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son’ But the father said to his slaves, ‘Quickly, bring out a robe—the best one—and put it on him; put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. And get the fatted calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate; for this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found!’ And they began to celebrate.

Now his elder son was in the field; and when he came and approached the house, he heard music and dancing. He called one of the slaves and asked what was going on. He replied, ‘Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fatted calf, because he has got him back safe and sound’. Then he became angry and refused to go in. His father came out and began to plead with him. But he answered his father, ‘Listen! For all these years I have been working like a slave for you, and I have never disobeyed your command; yet you have never given me even a young goat so that I might celebrate with my friends. But when this son of yours came back, who has devoured your property with prostitutes, you killed the fatted calf for him!” Then the father said to him, ‘Son you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. But we had to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and has come to life; he was lost and has been found.’”

The dictionary definition of the word “prodigal” means “spending money or resources freely and recklessly; wastefully extravagant.” In this parable of the Prodigal Son the younger of two sons asked his father if he could have his inheritance and go off to a far country and spend it as he saw fit. The father divided what would have gone to both sons and gave it to his younger son. It didn’t take the young boy long to waste all of his inheritance in a reckless fashion.

Then, as bad luck would have it, a famine hit the land to which the young son had come, and he needed a job to earn money to feed himself. All he could find was a job feeding pigs. Pigs were generally detested by the Jewish people, and here the young man not only fed the pigs, but he had to live with them and became so hungry that he was willing to eat the pods that he fed to the pigs. He had hit rock bottom and finally realized his foolishness. He decided to return to his father and ask forgiveness and offer to work as a hired hand. This awakening could be seen as representing the grace of God for the son to realize what was really important in his life.

When he offered to work as a slave in his father’s house his father was so overjoyed to have his son back home that he ordered his servants to bring a fine robe and a ring for his son and to kill the fatted calf so that all could celebrate the son’s return. In his father’s eyes the boy had died when he left with his inheritance and then when he returned, and asked to work as a slave, he was once again alive as a member of his father’s family.

Here again repentance and forgiveness are seen as the primary path to the Father in heaven or the Creator within you might say. Living the unconscious life of the average person on Earth would be the equivalent of this young son squandering his inheritance. At some point each person within this third-density experience has the opportunity to become a conscious seeker of truth, and is willing to forsake the worldly riches to seek to open the heart in unconditional love which is the pathway to the one Creator. In 15.14, Ra said it well:

Questioner: Yesterday you stated, “The harvest is now. There is not at this time any reason to include efforts upon these distortions toward longevity, but rather to encourage distortions towards the heart of self. For this which resides clearly in the violet-ray energy field will determine the harvest of each mind/body/spirit complex.” Could you tell us how to seek, or the best way to seek, the heart of self?

Ra: I am Ra. We have given you this information in several wordings. However, we can only say the material for your understanding is the self: the mind/body/spirit complex. You have been given information upon healing, as you call this distortion. This information may be seen in a more general context as ways to understand the self.

The understanding, experiencing, accepting, and merging of self with self and with other-self and, finally, with the Creator, is the path to the heart of self. In each infinitesimal part of your self resides the One in all of Its power. Therefore, we can only encourage these lines of contemplation, always stating the prerequisite of meditation, contemplation, or prayer as a means of subjectively/objectively using or combining various understandings to enhance the seeking process. Without such a method of reversing the analytical process, one could not integrate into unity the many understandings gained in such seeking.

Needless to say, the older brother was not happy with the father when he saw how well his younger brother was treated after having squandered his inheritance and had come begging back home only to be welcomed with open arms by his father. The father reassured the older brother that he was celebrating the fact that his son who was previously dead to him was now home and alive with repentance for his behavior and acceptance of the father’s house. The older brother was in the same position of the Pharisee in the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector—he felt self-righteous and scorning of his younger brother even though his father had reassured him that the same inheritance was still his if he could but realize it. But, as was the case with the Pharisee, the older brother had no knowledge of grace, repentance, and forgiveness. In 15.14, Ra described how everyone has a choice to make with how to live the life:

Questioner: Then although many entities are not aware of this, what they really desire is to accelerate their growth, and it is their job to discover this while incarnate. Is it correct that they can accelerate their growth much more while incarnate in third density than in between incarnations of this density?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. We shall attempt to speak upon this concept.

The Law of One has, as one of its primal distortions, the Free Will distortion. Thus each entity is free to accept, reject, or ignore the mind/body/spirit complexes about it and ignore the creation itself. There are many among your social memory complex-distortion who, at this time/space, engage daily, as you would put it, in the working upon the Law of One in one of its primal distortions; that is, the Ways of Love.

However, if this same entity—being biased from the depths of its mind/body/spirit complex towards love/light—were then to accept responsibility for each moment of the time/space accumulation of present moments available to it, such an entity can empower its progress in much the same way as we described the empowering of the call of your social complex-distortion to the Confederation.

So no matter how long it may take any of us to realize that everything that occurs to us in our lives offers us an opportunity to grow closer into unity with people around us and the One Creator, when we do make such a realization we can empower our spiritual journeys by the same doubling effect that Ra said constituted humanity’s call to the Confederation for assistance on our spiritual journeys on Earth. In effect, we move from the flat gameboard to the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning I ran a couple of errands with my first stop being at Paul’s Fruit Market where I bought some food for myself. My second and last stop was at Walgreen’s Drug Store where I bought some ice cream and picked up a prescription for myself.

This afternoon I went outside and sprayed a third can of undercoating paint on the hollowed-out portion of the giant sycamore tree in the back yard. Along with the insect repellant this should keep termites or ants from making further inroads into the sycamore tree. Now I believe that I have done all that is possible to keep this great tree standing. There are two cables, one of steel and one of woven cloth fabric, that are holding the three large trunks of the tree at about sixty feet up, and the lower limbs have been cut away to reduce the wind effect on the tree.

The Softness Of Love

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the consciousness of divine love.

My children, why do you grieve the spirit of Jesus the Christ? Why must you turn from charity and harden your hearts?

This day we ask that each communication between two children of the infinite and most glorious Creator be full of the softness of love and compassion.

My children, do not harden your hearts in any wise toward any soul for any reason but turn from the hardening effects of the surface of things and gaze deeply into the heart of each circumstance to find infinite love abiding therein.

This is a truth found only in faith. May you, in faith, call upon the spirit of Christ.

We shall be with you in the peace of Christ, now and ever. Amen.

The Parable of The Pharisee and the Tax Collector

(Luke 18:9-14)

He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and regarded others with contempt: “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee, standing by himself, was praying thus ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people: thieves, rogues, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give a tenth of all my income.’ But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even look up to heaven, but was beating his breast and saying, ‘God be merciful to me, a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his home justified rather than the other; for all who exalt themselves will be humbled, but all who humble themselves will be exalted.”

The Pharisees were a group of men from the Jewish religion that formed during the 400-year period between the Old Testament and the New Testament of the Christian Bible. They formed their sect because they were concerned that during this time that the laws that had been handed down to Moses were being neglected by the Jewish people in general. The Pharisees were very strict in the observance of these laws and would have nothing to do with people who did not observe these laws as they did, for they saw such people as sinners. They set about restoring righteousness to the Jewish people by attempting to demonstrate righteous and godly behavior. They took the emphasis off of faith and put it on their righteous behavior making their religious practices of rigidly observing the laws of Moses so that they thought that they could earn their way to God through a more mental or analytical approach.

The tax collectors collected taxes for the Roman conquerors of the Jewish people. They collected both taxes on people and taxes on land and were much despised by the Jewish people because they would not only collect taxes for the Roman oppressors, but they would often skim off some of what the Jewish people paid to them and keep it for themselves. They were the epitome of what the Pharisees saw as corrupt, sinful, and in no way religious.

So both the Pharisee and the tax collector are in the Temple to pray to God, each in his own way. The Pharisee uses his prayer to offer all the reasons to God that he deserved God’s grace because of his persistent righteous behavior. He is doing a fine job of exalting himself and obviously feels very good about doing so. He is asking God to recognize his righteous behavior and reward him with entrance into the kingdom of heaven. On the other hand, the tax collector feels that he is such a sinner that he cannot even look up to where heaven might be. He is beating his chest and asking for God’s forgiveness. However, Jesus said that exalting one’s self must eventually lead to being humbled, for it is to those humbly ask for forgiveness that forgiveness will be granted. Ra had much the same attitude towards the power of forgiveness to remove karma or what could be called sin in 34.4:

Questioner: Thank you. Would you define karma?

Ra: I am Ra. Our understanding of karma is that which may be called inertia. Those actions which are put into motion will continue, using the ways of balancing, until such time as the controlling or higher principle, which you may liken unto your braking, or stopping, is invoked. This stoppage of the inertia of action may be called forgiveness. These two concepts are inseparable.

Even the one known as Jesus the Christ needed to be forgiven for unwittingly taking the life of a playmate when he was a child as Ra related in 17.19-.20:

  Questioner: How did Jesus learn this during his incarnation?

Ra: I am Ra. This entity learned the ability by a natural kind of remembering at a very young age. Unfortunately, this entity first discovered his ability to penetrate intelligent infinity by becoming the distortion you call “angry” at a playmate. This entity was touched by the entity, known as Jesus to you, and was fatally wounded.

Thus the one known as Jesus became aware that there dwelt in him a terrible potential. This entity determined to discover how to use this energy for the good, not for the negative. This entity was extremely positively polarized and remembered more than most wanderers do.

Questioner: How did this aggressive action against a playmate affect Jesus in his spiritual growth? Where did he go after his physical death?

Ra: I am Ra. The entity you call Jesus was galvanized by this experience and began a lifetime of seeking and searching. This entity studied first day and night in its own religious constructs, which you call Judaism, and was learned enough to be a rabbi, as you call the teach/learners of this particular rhythm or distortion of understanding, at a very young age.

At the age of approximately thirteen and one-half of your years, this entity left the dwelling place of its earthly family, as you would call it, and walked into many other places seeking further information. The entity was absolved karmically of the destruction of an other-self when it was in its last portion of lifetime and spoke upon what you would call a cross saying, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” In forgiveness lies the stoppage of the wheel of action, or what you call karma.

Forgiveness is important in our spiritual journeys because it does stop the “wheel of action” or karma. This is certainly the goal of resolving any disharmonies that we might feel with an other self. After we have utilized the process of clear and heartfelt communication with another person we need to forgive the other person, and we need to forgive ourselves for our part in the disharmony. Forgiving ourselves is also important when we have judged ourselves for having behaved improperly when acting alone. Many times these self-judgments are the result of listening to voices in our heads that have come from our childhood when parents, siblings, friends, and teachers criticize us for what they feel is a failing on our part. Oftentimes this type of self forgiveness can only be achieved through techniques like talk therapy or through inner reflection in contemplation or meditation.

This morning I got all of the chairs in the living room properly arranged for our public channeling meditation this afternoon. I also got the chairs in my bedroom arranged so that our channeling circle group will be able to go through the tuning process in here before the channeling begins this afternoon. We should have either 14 or 15 people total in attendance, and a comfortable couch, love seat, and series of chairs for everyone. So this Camelot Journal entry will need to be posted quite a bit earlier than usual. Just as an interesting side note, for the first time this year I heard a cardinal calling outside just before sunrise which only happens in the springtime.

Blaze A Trail Of Love

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of perfect love.

This day lies before you, a verdant pasture, a flowering field. Though pathways there are through the wildwood and meadow, yet you may choose your own way and be the first to beat a new trail if those that lie before you do not lead whither you would wish.

There is always more possibility in a situation viewed from the standpoint of love than in a situation viewed from the condition of humankind. Look up at the golden sun that lights the morning pasture of your day and realize that its perfection lies with you and your perfection with it.

The spirit enlivens, enhances and offers each choice that shall be deemed good and necessary by you. May you walk without fear but with the comfort of our companionship into the creative and exciting land wherein each footstep blazes a trail of love.

The peace of Jesus the Christ I leave with you, now and always. Amen.

Speaking in parables—Jesus

The dictionary definition of a parable is: “a simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson, as told by Jesus in the Gospels.” Jesus used many parables as a way of sharing deep religious and spiritual principles. Most of the common people that he spoke to in His teachings did not have much education, so using parables was an effective means of sharing spiritual principles that could speak to the predominant level of the consciousness of His times.

In this way Jesus was sharing the blue ray of clear communication and, very often, inspiration that would move not only the minds of his listeners into comprehension of His messages but also open their hearts in greater and greater degrees of love for each other as He expressed in one of His most famous phrases: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” I would like to share three of Jesus’s parables to illustrate how He used this method of communicating deeper meanings of spiritual significance to those who came to listen to Him share his blue-ray wisdom and his green-ray love.

The Parable of The Hidden Treasure and the Pearl of Great Price

(Matthew 13:44-46)

The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which someone found and hid; then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls; on finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.

Two thousand years ago, in the time of Jesus, it was not unusual for people to bury their valuable possessions in a field because there were no banks in which to keep them safe from thieves. So Jesus used this common practice to illustrate how a great treasure such as eternal life might be seen to be of such value that any effort that was needed to procure it would be well worth giving up all else that one would have or would ever seek to own.

The second part of this parable involves a merchant who collects pearls as part of his business. These pearls are worldly in the sense that he would be able to make a living by the buying and then the selling of these “fine pearls” to people who also valued owning such storehouses of value. However, this merchant then discovers something in his life that is of far greater value than any number of pearls that he could ever own. It transcends the material world and is spiritual in nature. It is the goal of life expressed in its highest sense. No amount of money can equal it. It has a “great price”, the giving over of the life to a higher goal, a higher power.

In our modern-day vernacular we might determine that the goal of our spiritual journeys would be to discover the Creator within us, the Christ consciousness which would reveal Itself to us if we were able to contact intelligent infinity and discover the sacred nature of each moment of our existence. Our original Choice to be of service to others, with more and more of our everyday choices, would be equivalent to giving up all other endeavors in our lives in order to travel this road to the One within us. When Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me.”, (John 14:6) He was referring to the Christ consciousness, or the cosmic consciousness, which is already within each of us awaiting our seeking of it as this “pearl of great price”. Our desire to achieve this ultimate reality of all our being must be of such a degree of purity and intensity that we are willing to give up all other pursuits in order to realize it. This is the way that Ra described this process in 57.33:

The space/time and time/space concepts are those concepts describing, as mathematically as possible, the relationships of your illusion: that which is seen to that which is unseen. These descriptive terms are clumsy. They, however, suffice for this work.

In the experiences of the mystical search for unity these need never be considered, for they are but part of an illusory system. The seeker seeks the One. This One is to be sought, as we have said, by the balanced and self-accepting self, aware both of its apparent distortions and its total perfection.

Resting in this balanced awareness, the entity then opens the self to the universe, which it is. The light energy of all things may then be attracted by this intense seeking, and wherever the inner seeking meets the attracted cosmic prana, realization of the One takes place.

The purpose of clearing each energy center is to allow that meeting place to occur at the indigo-ray vibration, thus making contact with intelligent infinity and dissolving all illusions. Service-to-others is automatic at the released energy generated by this state of consciousness.

I believe that this process is one which most likely occurred in the Queen’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid where the initiate was able to accept its own distortions while at the same time realizing that it had these distortions as part of its process of spiritual growth. This acceptance would be the equivalent of clearing each energy center. Then the initiate exercised its will to the utmost become one with the Creator and simultaneously exercised its faith that such was possible. Then it became possible, if this was done with enough efficiency, desire, and faith, to have the “attracted cosmic prana” to meet the inner light of the Creator at the indigo center and then use the spirit as a shuttle to contact intelligent infinity.

This afternoon I went back outside and gathered up enough small tree limbs to fill another garbage can. Then I drove over to the vet to pick up some insulin for Boscoe. My last job of the afternoon was to vacuum the first floor of the house.

Smoke And Ashes

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

A spark goes forth from the dying embers of the fire of useless thoughts. It flies to the barren ground of the unhearing ear and dies. And all the energy that has been expended is that which has produced only smoke and ashes. This is the material of which much of your experience consists.

Consider well that for which you shall feel passion; that for which you shall generate love; that which shall create in you the flame, the embers, and the spark.

Consider also the ground upon which you choose to build the fire of your caring, your service, and your love. For truly do you wish to serve. And truly shall each ember shoot forth those sparks which may, in turn, breed fires of love.

Choose you the ready ground. Choose, in your thoughts, thoughts that temper your spirit, strengthen your love, and bring you into the consciousness of Jesus the Christ.

May the fire of your spirit burn clear and bright and may each dying thought produce bountiful fruit.

Dogma

The dictionary definition of dogma is: “any belief held unquestioningly and with undefended certainty.” As Carla used to say, dogma is not usually rational and is, rather, a more emotionally-held belief that provides four solid walls within which one’s beliefs can firmly stand unchallenged by any system of religion, politics, or philosophy. When a person holds tightly to dogma, all need to think for one’s self is abandoned. Therefore, the blue-ray of clear communication is abandoned. Very often the green-ray of the open heart is also blocked. Then the yellow-ray of group ideology, and the orange-ray of personal identification with that ideology, are exercised to the point of partaking in a kind of crusade or inquisition regarding those who do not believe according to the reigning dogma’s demand. In the following quote Q’uo speaks of the metaphysical alternative to dogma of any kind: the “mystical view”:

“It is a wise teacher indeed who is able to differentiate between his personal experiences with the divine and that which is helpfully expressed concerning seeking the divine. In a world that wishes to codify, organize and arrange life in an orderly manner, the mystical view, which is found at the heart of all religions and many philosophies as well, while greatly appealing, is found cumbersome and awkward to teach. When you’re speaking of something that is indescribable and ineffable, words fail.

The human tendency, then, is to apply an organization to the mystery of the one Creator. And different religions have had different reasons to create different structures of belief, which have hardened into dogma.

If the Creator is infinite love and infinite light, and if the creation is evolving continuously forever, then there is continuously more of truth than there was before. Consciousness is continuously expanding. The problem with any dogma, then, is that it cannot re-form itself to hold the new truth that is flowing forth at every moment from the creative principle.” Q’uo, February 18, 2007

As each of us is a unique being we are constantly faced with having to express our own interpretations of experiences of all kinds which we share with our fellow seekers of truth and with the average person on the street as well. That can be fun and informative if these experiences are of the normal, everyday nature, but when we begin to have epiphanies or unitive realizations then it becomes difficult to even use words at all. In the quote above Q’uo reveals how each religion on Earth faces this problem as each religion is based, in some degree, upon the mystical experiences of a self-realized being such as Jesus, Muhammed, the Buddha, Moses, Lao Tzu, etc. Each of these great teachers experienced profound illuminations which had much in common with each other but were also unique in some degree.

At the beginning of any religion, that is born of the various degrees of enlightenment, there is a good chance that the original followers of a great teacher will have a better understanding of the teacher’s experience and message to others who would wish to follow the same path to enlightenment. However, as time goes on and the teacher and the original followers leave their incarnations it is most often the case that the interpretation of the teacher’s words and experiences will be distorted to some degree into a kind of dogma that falls short of making a clear representation of the teacher’s message.

Q’uo finished their thought about religions and dogma with the idea that the path of any illumined Master is part of an infinite path of realization because we live in an infinite universe created by an infinite Creator, and the process of Self-realization will continue to expand for everyone, including all of our great teachers. So the problem with any dogma is that it is forever doomed to being frozen in place. In the following quote Ra gave people of any religion some hope in being able to follow the path of a great teacher when they were talking about the Ark of the Covenant:

60.18 Questioner: Was this a device for communication then? You said they also drew power from it. What type of power? How did this work?

Ra: I am Ra. This was charged by means of the materials with which it was built being given an electromagnetic field. It became an object of power in this way. And, to those whose faith became that untarnished by unrighteousness or separation, this power, designed for negativity, became positive, and is so to those truly in harmony with the experience of service to this day.

Thus the negative forces were partially successful, but the positively oriented Moishe, as this entity was called, gave to your planetary peoples the possibility of a path to the One Infinite Creator which is completely positive.

This is in common with each of your orthodox religious systems which have all become somewhat mixed in orientation yet offer a pure path to the One Creator which is seen by the pure seeker.

So that is the challenge that faces each of us as seekers of truth. We need to make our own original efforts to apprehend the general nature of the spiritual journey that Ra gave so much good information on. Then at some point we will have to find our own unique expression of truth, beauty, goodness, purpose in life, and the greater illuminations that will become available to us. Ra said it well when they were talking about how crystals may be used:

29.27 Questioner: Then you are saying that there is no single level of, shall we say, purity required to tap intelligent energy through crystals, but there can be a wide variation in the amount of distortion that an entity may have. But each entity has to reach his particular point of, what I might call, energizing the ability. Is this right?

Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect. The necessity is for the mind/body/spirit complex to be of a certain balance, this balance thus enabling it to reach a set level of lack of distortion. The critical difficulties are unique for each mind/body/spirit complex due to the experiential distillations which, in total, are the, shall we say, violet-ray beingness of each such entity.

This balance is what is necessary for work to be done in seeking the gateway to intelligent infinity through the use of crystals or through any other use. No two mind/body/spirit crystallized natures are the same. The distortion requirements, vibrationally speaking, are set.

In this quote Q’uo gives some very helpful advice concerning how to deal with dogma:

In the first place, free will is a matter of perception for each person who is living in incarnation on Planet Earth in third density. If the entity has had a successful indoctrination into some religions, for instance, the matter of free will has been declared null and void and instead the child will obey each dictate and dogma of the religion which has an answer for every situation, usually heavily couched in judgment and narrowing one’s choices so that there are prisons made of dogma, each tenet a bar. The door is locked for the entire incarnation, once such tenets are accepted.

There are others who have been trained by their parents and indoctrinated into their culture in such a way that there is a prison made of enculturation. There are rules governing each action. And often these bars are as stringent as those of religion in limiting the choices of those who have chosen to obey the dictates of society without thought and without question.

Fortunate are those who awaken within an incarnation to a realization that it is their right and part of their basic nature to make their own choices; to discern and evaluate the truth for themselves and to remove themselves from any prisons made of words, the tenets of dogma, or the rules and regulations of society, [which are] words of imprisonment for many.

Now, we are not judging religion or society for creating dogma or for creating the rules and regulations of polite social intercourse. There are some that do very well within the narrow limits of a religion or a society. It is possible to open the energy body and keep the heart open within the prison of words. It is possible to graduate from third density in these conditions.

However, there is a tremendous power involved in realizing that you have the capacity and the responsibility to make your choices for yourself. Once an entity realizes that he does indeed have free will and that he can exercise it, he is then faced with the decision of how to bend his will, what to desire, and what to set the intention to seek. The Work Of The Spirit

We greet you in the name of Jesus the Christ and in the full consciousness of that love which creates and sustains all created things.

We are a principle and a thought and yet there are no two situations in which our breath moves in an identical manner to any other situation. For at one time it is the spirit’s work to awaken and at another time to soothe; at one time to brighten and at another time to point in shadow for the more subtle understanding.

Nay, it is not the activity which can be described which characterizes the energy of the consciousness of love but rather the life within that unique wind which blows over the situation which characterizes the nature of the spirit. For the spirit utters life when It speaks. Look, then, to the life-giving spirit. For all things are dead save in Christ.

The Ethical Spirit

I believe that what Carla had in mind when using the term, the Ethical Spirit, can be seen as the Primal Logos of the infinite creation that has made all of the creation out of Love. This would also apply to all the other Logoi who have refined the work of the Primal Logos and created the infinity of galaxies as well as to the sub-Logoi who have also made their refinements and created the infinity of solar systems. All these entities would offer each of us access to this infinitely creative and all-sustaining power of Love as that is what we are also made of. Our challenge as spiritual seekers of this basic truth is to regain access to this Love that dwells in our heart of hearts and offers us the basic and purest ethics with which to interact with all other selves. If we can open our hearts in unconditional love for ourselves and all others, then any blue-ray communications between us and other selves will more likely be clear, compassionate, and ethically appropriate as well. In the following quote Q’uo offers us a means by which to do this.

“Leaning upon one word, love, one may learn a great deal about ethics. In your own way, you aid the infinite creation in its path. Each individual’s consciousness, if it rests in love, is more and more a part of that infinite, eternal, constant creation of the Father. As the whirlwind within the mind and emotions of living calms itself, and spiritual maturity advances, that part of each self that is of the infinite Creator and is an holograph of the infinite creation begins to manifest itself without words. Yet, this manifestation of love, flowing through one in infinite measure, gives to those entities whose discipline has been towards maturity an authority that makes it unnecessary to attempt to control, in most cases. For, as one is more and more the authority over the vagaries of the human self, just so does the heart within that self find itself peaceful and open and, therefore, a shuttle through which the love of the infinite One may flow freely.” Q’uo, June 7, 1992

In this quote Q’uo suggested that in the everyday world of this third-density illusion it is so easy for anyone to get caught up in the mental and physical pursuits of jobs to do, people to see, places to go, purchases to make, and classes to attend that our spiritual natures are often set aside or ignored. However, as time moves on and we mature in what we consider to be the most important way of expending our energies, those who aspire to be Players on the Game Board of Life become aware of the need to seek for the greater meaning in their lives. This desire becomes the focus of our attention, and through our spiritual studies, meditation, and joining with others seekers of truth, we begin the process of accessing that infinite river of Love that flows from the one Creator through our hearts and out into the world around us as we become beacons of Love and Light. Then whatever worldly pursuits our days may contain will be imbued with some degree of the compassion of Love and the inspiration of Light as the nature of the one Creator manifests Itself through us and lightens the vibrations of the Earth as well. Here Q’uo goes into inspiring detail in describing the deeper ethical nature of our true being:

To the conscious mind there is given what is more a shadow than a substance of the actual memories which are stored within the deep mind. It is as though the very workings of the most essential aspects of each personality were necessarily so ordered as to leave many hints and innuendoes suggesting that there is such a thing as a more ethical way to live or to decide between two things. This bare instinct for the right is that flag or token or suggestion that there is much more of a metaphysical or ethical nature which forms a system of deeper truth.

This deeper truth is protected from that quick and easy access by the conscious mind which entities are used to having in general. It is neatly and cleanly cached, not merely out of sight, but secreted and truly hidden, for there is extreme power which is released when the truth is claimed; and it is a worthy goal to seek and find more and more deep levels of truth. Were this truth not so well hidden, it would not have the power to move and offer transformation to that entity which perseveres in ceaseless asking and desiring of the Creator that more and more of truth be opened to one.

You dwell in a deep and convincing illusion—this you know. Each has already discovered some degree of personal power. Each desires and attempts to use that power rightly. As each continues that pilgrim’s path, seeking always the higher truth, the higher compassion and wisdom, doors do open, and to the entity who watches and pays close attention, each and every situation can hold revelation. Yet, know that it is only insofar as one continues to apply those truths already learned that these doors do open.

The nature of seeking is such that many attempt to speed up the process of discovering truth far beyond that rate at which they may reasonably expect to learn and retain information. Therefore, we encourage each to allow for reflection and reiteration of lessons and truths, for the process of imbibing these heady waters of truth is much longer and more subtle than a simple model of the memory of an entity might suggest.

We suggest that each of you is a marvelously complex creature, and that many times when you may be most aggravated at the delays in learning lessons are the times when it would be far better simply to allow the waiting and the process of seating these growing perceptions of truth in the stable connection betwixt newly opened subconscious material and its emergence through the threshold of consciousness into the fully conscious mind.

It is as though these secret places within the mansion of your beingness are the treasure trove which the dragon guards in your mythology. The dragon is that portion of the universal Self which aids the self in staying whole and entire, for that which you seek—that great original Truth—is powerful enough to have created all that there now is, and is powerful enough to end all that there is. Contact with this energy is a thing which it is well to allow to occur in natural ways with no heightened expectations. In quietness and in peace shall truth be yours, which you have earned through desire purified through discipline, through emotion purified by wisdom. Q’uo, November 21, 1993.

This morning I made an errand run with my first stop being at Feeder’s Supply where I bought cat food, kitty litter, and bird seed. My second stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market where I bought some food for myself. My last stop was at the vet’s where I bought some meds for Mr. Mush.

At 12:30 this afternoon the entire L/L Research staff and Board of Directors entered into a healing prayer/meditation for 15 minutes in response to our Turkish translators’ request for assistance for those still buried in the rubble of the massive 7.8 earthquake that struct Turkey and Syria two days ago. The death toll is rising by the hour and is expected to be in the hundreds of thousands of people, making this one of the most devastating earthquakes in modern times. If anyone would like to make a financial contribution to aid in providing medical care, food, and shelter for those who have survived the earthquake, I would recommend UNICEF as one of the most reliable organizations through which to do this. Your prayers are also much appreciated.

Seek The True Image Of Love

I am the Holy Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ and I overshadow this instrument with the consciousness of love.

Just in such a way may we greet each and overshadow each with the love that is a kind of truing device, so that each spirit which seeks love may, by asking, receive the comfort of closer and closer knowledge of the true wholeness and unity of creation.

The untrue perceptions which abound within your experience are a matter of gazing upon the streaming array of scenes and experiences about you as if through a vastly distorting carnival mirror. Seek, then, the true image of love in whatever your gaze falls upon by invoking the Comforter, the pure consciousness of love.

Carla’s goals for this chapter: This is a backwards look at our ethical nature as human beings and the centrality of making ethical choices as the heart of human activity. It looks at how we can be spiritual beings looking at religion and politics rather than political and religious beings looking at spirituality. Once again it makes clear that we do not need to be stuck in religious or other dogmatic systems of thinking. We can create our own system for working with ethical choice-making.

Chapter Five, The Blue Ray—the first true spiritual ray

For one whose blue-ray energy center has been activated, the primary quality that is experienced is that of being more fully a co-Creator that can express itself without reservation or fear. As a co-Creator the blue-ray activated entity is able to utilize the lessons of its spirit complex and share them with others in a manner that is not possible when the blue-ray is not activated. When the blue ray is activated communication with others is clear and honest, freely given, and also is received from others with the same clarity and honesty. In addition, there is a level of clear communication from the spirit that may be described as inspiration that an entity with an activated blue-ray can bring forth to aid others on their spiritual journeys. In order to activate the blue-ray energy center it is necessary to remove any blockages that keep it from functioning to its fullest capacity. In the following quote Ra mentioned how blockages in the blue-ray may be experienced:

“The blue-ray center of energy streaming is the center which, for the first time, is outgoing as well as inpouring. Those blocked in this area may have difficulty in grasping the spirit/mind complexes of its own entity, and further difficulty in expressing such understandings of self. Entities blocked in this area may have difficulties in accepting communication from other mind/body/spirit complexes.” Ra, 15.12

As spiritual seekers of truth, two of our greatest desires are to have clear knowledge of ourselves and to be of service to others. When we interact with others these two qualities are most important to reflect in a manner that is acceptable to everyone concerned. On the surface of this spiritual approach in our communications, it would seem that this goal would not be too hard to achieve. However, Ra mentioned that it is possible to have blockages in our blue-ray chakras that would prohibit a clear manifestation of true knowledge of ourselves and our desire to be of service to others.

When such blockages occur in our communications with others, it then becomes apparent that we have inner work in consciousness to do to discover the nature of our blockages. In the following quote Q’uo makes some suggestions as to how people can clarify their communications with a technique that sounds a lot like Nonviolent Communication, a book by Marshall Rosenburg:

If there is the expectation, and it is not owned, if there is the prejudice and it is not owned, if it is not brought out into the open, how can the other entity do anything but respond to the feeling that lies behind the statement, which is seemingly innocent and harmless. So when there is a blockage that is inexplicable, it does not have to do with vocabulary or amount of information given. Then it is that one begins anew at another level of communication: a telling of the story of the self, a speaking of the legend of the moment. “This is what I have created. Respect this, but tell me what you have created, and I shall respect that.” And from this exchange, all differences in perception may be communicated back and forth, back and forth, until the two creations have a consensus reality, special to those two entities at that moment in the combined myth of two entities upon a journey of seeking together, thus unifying what was broken, and healing that which was sore and painful. Q’uo, April, 5, 1992.

Some blockages of the blue-ray energy center are not always obvious within our conscious minds. Many times we may have subconscious expectations that distort our communications in a way that is confusing to us and to anyone that we are talking to. Maybe we have a need to be supported in our life in general or in a particular shared area of endeavor. Maybe we need to clear up a misunderstanding that has developed from a shared experience. If we are not able to get to the heart of what it is that we are hoping for, or how we wish to achieve our need, then our conversation will probably not lead to any clear conclusions.

The same situation would be true if we had subconscious prejudices against certain behaviors, topics, or certain people. Once again, knowledge of ourselves in these areas is necessary for us to be clear in our communication. If we find ourselves coming up short of clarity or consensus with a particular person in our conversations, we might want to take some time out from further communication to find tools to help us gain an inner clarity before continuing the communication.

Meditation and contemplation are useful tools when we continually find ourselves feeling a nebulous blockage in our conscious or subconscious minds. If we can use these tools, and any subsequent mental analysis of what we find through meditation and contemplation, then we have useful information that we can apply to Q’uo’s technique of engaging a friend or companion in “a telling of the story of the self”. We simply tell our story of what we need, what we do not feel comfortable with, and how we can cooperate with our friend to discover their needs and comfort zones. When both have shared in this honest and vulnerable way, then it is quite possible that our journey of seeking together will provide both of us what we seek, and our blue-rays will have been cleared of the subconscious blockages. Here Q’uo gives us additional thoughts on how to achieve clear communication:

It is not always the wise word or the compassionate smile that is of service to others. There are times to listen and say nothing. There are times to be confrontive and surgical, and blunt and honest because the entity you wish to serve has got to know your point of view. Do not do this unless it is asked of you. But when it is asked of you in a compassionate way, express yourself in clear communication, in brilliant blue ray. For, you see, your deeper mind is telepathic and often you may feel that you know things that you know not how you know. But the conscious mind is anything but telepathic. Indeed, it is almost guaranteed not to be telepathic without training, for the distractions, the noise, the activity, and the shallowness of the illusion that you enjoy do not encourage depth of being. This is what you are seeking as one who seeks to serve others—is more and more depth and resonance of being.

When you work upon yourself you begin to recognize the situations, to realize the opportunities whereby you may perhaps offer a spiritual thought or principle that may be of inspiration or help to a brother or sister. Many, many of these small conversations, these moments of listening and so forth, may seem like nothing at all, not a service but merely passing the time. This is virtually impossible. You are either wishing to be of service or not wishing to be of service; it is seldom that one is indifferent. However, many of your people are oriented very close to indifference because they have utilized the illusion to distract them completely from thinking or feeling those deeper things within which lie the mystery of creation and Creator. This morning I went to my Primary Care Physician and left a blood sample for my yearly fasting lab report. I will see her next week to discuss the results. Later in the morning I also went to my eye doctor to pick up a new pair of glasses to replace my old ones that got some paint on them that I couldn’t get off.

This afternoon I decided to finish the painting of the hollowed out inside of the giant Sycamore tree in the back yard. It is a large area that has been getting a little bigger as time has gone on, and in years past I have had two cables put up about fifty feet in the air to hold the three large trunks together and keep them from falling. The work that I am doing at the bottom is to keep any termites or ants from further enlarging the cavity at ground level that puts the tree at risk of falling. Then I went over to the area in the back yard where a new sump pump drain pipe was put in recently and placed the bricks, that had been removed to dig the trench, into place on top of the ground to give me an idea of where the bricks will need to be dug back into their original location.

Softness Of Heart

I am the spirit of the living Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of perfect love.

We would give to you and to all the peoples of Earth the grandeur and the glory of creation, the aspect of heaven which your eyes do not see but which rests imperishably within each perishable mote of shape and substance in the creation.

We would give to you the softness of heart to perceive glory. And yet often you who seek the living spirit of love feel that you must toughen and harden yourselves to be more effective blunt instruments for Christ. Yet Christ is not one desirous of seeing large generalities or of using blunt instruments.

Jesus the Christ wishes to send you into the world as a soft, complex, subtle and quietly shining being, one who celebrates the imperishable in every perishable situation; one who can ignore the perishable even when a less subtle heart would be prone to condemn and turn away.

The strength of Jesus the Christ seems often like softness, yet there is more steel in the velvet manipulations of the spirit than in the hardened thrusts of all the righteous lances in the perishable universe.

May your hearts be softened and may you find peace in the imperishable, now and always. Amen.

The dictionary definition of patience is: “the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.” Whereas persistence is an active concept, patience is a passive concept in which one avoids expressing any negative emotions when one is prevented from completing a course of action. Here Q’uo gives an analogy of patience being a process of water moving from its form as ice to a more patient and fluid liquid form:

The lessons of patience and tolerance are lessons that are slow, my brother. And therefore we encourage that feeling that you have for water to come forth for you, to picture within yourself the slow, slow movement of the breaking up of the ice of judgment and narrowness. Do not force the ice to melt, for it is spring, my brother, and the ice will melt. Rather, allow that process to take place even though it feels as if it were breaking you apart. For truly your nature must change from crystallized water to liquid water and from orthogonal angles to the spherical drops of the flowing water in which all things are able to rub along comfortably and make room for each other, whereas the crystallized nature of the ice is such that it must have a certain structure in order to exist in that form at all. You are experiencing, when you ask yourself to relax into non-judgment and patience, to move from that frozen condition to the liquid condition in which you do not have control such as you would feel that you had when you had that right-angled structure of the ice and its crystalline nature. Just as persistence has great value as a quality that we do well to continually exercise on our spiritual journeys, patience is also of equal value as our more passive quality of being willing to endure great difficulty. Patience is reflected in our calm but determined state of mind that silently witnesses our continual efforts to solve problems that seem to have no solution and no end. Latwii had some beautiful thoughts to share in this quote on patience:

The secret of patience is the knowledge that it is a portion of love hidden within the deep beingness of mind, that portion of the mind which lies below the sensors, below thought, below idea, creating in a powerful and creative way each experience which manifests itself through you and to you. Thus, patience is a resource, part of the glory within which each spirit contains.

There is an inner opening to infinity, and patience is the doorkeeper. Difficult experiences of the mundane type, whether they be relationships or situations, are designed to place the pilgrim in the perfect place for the experience it needs to overcome deep biases which are unbalanced in the personality. To be impatient with the world because it has made you sad or angry or defeated is to be impatient with yourself, and by this time the seeker has already decided that if the self is unworthy, that is certainly too bad, for the self is here and the self must seek to be the best and the highest that it can be.

Each self is perfect in some way at some level. This is acknowledged at some point by the seeker. The paradox betwixt the perfect and the blatantly imperfect self is accepted that it does not matter that there is a paradox, but that one must still seek and not be at war with the self.

Thus, we ask each to meditate when impatience with the world becomes that which keeps the consciousness from its joy, for it is in the manifestation at least of peace, serenity and patience that sunshine will spring from your eyes regardless of the external weather. It is then that you shall become a blessing to all whom you see.

We are sorry and sympathetic when we gaze at the suffering of good and true-hearted pilgrims within your third-density illusion. We find you to be very brave, carrying on in faith when there is no evidence to prove the assumption of the goodness of the Creator. Yet, we must share with you, my friends, that your journey is truly a journey where patience shall be a great tool, resource and ally.

Each of you seeks for that moment when unity with the infinite source of all things is experienced and a sure knowledge of the universe as it really is, is finally revealed. Be patient, my friend, be patient. Latwii, April 26, 1987.

Many times the truest and most valuable reward for being able to learn these lessons of patience is the opening of our hearts more and more in unconditional love for the other selves and the circumstances that played primary roles in our processing of our pain. It is truly a group effort that we make together as Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This afternoon I cleaned the filter for the fountain on the fish pond and then drove to The Home Depot, and then to Thieneman’s Nursery, to see if I could find any pansies to replace the ones in the two pots on the front porch which have died due to unusually low temperatures this winter. Usually pansies do well with temperatures below freezing, but we had some below zero which seems to have been too cold for them. However, I didn’t have any luck finding any locally or even online.

Today

I am the Comforter and I speak to you in the wholeness of the love of Jesus the Christ.

Today is a word which means “the present.” Yet how little time each may spend in peaceable, comfortable thought concerning today! Many hark back to yesterdays which seem unsatisfactory and experience emotions negative and sorrowful. Many more gaze into tomorrow with fear and apprehension.

Yet it is today that the Father watches and sets His angels to guide and guard each of you. It is in the present that situations and relationships belong and in the present that help need be asked.

Yes, it is well to pray for forgiveness of yesterday’s sins and for peace of mind concerning an uncertain future. But the spirit of the living Christ urges you to release all and focus upon the moment at hand. For in this moment lies the wholeness of creation, the energy of goodness, the love of Christ, the sacrifice of crucifixion and the sure knowledge of resurrection from any crucified pain or trouble.

Speak in your soul and heart this day of today and, as you ask for comfort, it shall rain upon you in a gentle, peaceful rain. There is help and comfort today.

May your joy be complete in the present moment. And in that moment may you find the peace of the consciousness of love, now and ever. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 103 quote comes from Chapter Four and the concept of persistence:

Persistence

The dictionary definition of persistence is: “firm or obstinate continuance in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.” Persistence is an active concept which denotes a firmness of conviction regarding a course of action that we wish to see to its completion even if there are obstacles that might prevent completion of that course of action. In such a situation we see the goal as being well worth the effort. In 54.17, Ra shared a concept of our strength of will being important on our spiritual journey that can be said to be another way of examining how persistence may be utilized as we are seeking the truth:

“Questioner: What is the aid, or the mechanism of the aid, received for meditation for an entity who would be positioned in the so-called Queen’s Chamber position?

Ra: I am Ra. Consider the polarity of mind/body/spirit complexes. The inner light is that which is your heart of being. Its strength equals your strength of will to seek the light. The position, or balanced position of a group, intensifies the amount of this will, the amount of awareness of the inner light necessary to attract the instreaming light upward, spiraling from the south magnetic pole of being.

Thus this is the place of the initiate, for many extraneous items, or distortions, will leave the entity as it intensifies its seeking so that it may become one with this centralized and purified incoming light.”

In general terms, every person’s spiritual journey is a process of seeking the inner light, the light of the Creator within us. As we express this desire on a daily basis it also acts so as to “attract the instreaming light upward, spiraling from the south magnetic pole of being” much the same as Ra mentioned when the adept is using the pyramid’s Queen’s Chamber position. Our catalyst is drawn to us through our south pole and moves up through our energy centers as is possible according to the clarity, or lack of blockages, within each energy center. Our goal as spiritual seekers is to process this catalyst–that represents our pre-incarnative lessons in symbolic form–in a manner that will move us along the path of service to others. The more persistent that we are in this seeking process, the more positively we are polarizing our consciousness. In the following quote Q’uo reveals the value of persistence when we are processing difficult catalyst:

We encourage the one known as P to remain strong in heart, and dedicated to service, dedicated to learning, and to remember that even in the difficult times such as it now experiences there is much to learn, and much service to be offered. It is also well that each seeker in this position remember that it does indeed have friends which are both seen and unseen who walk with it on its journey. No seeker travels alone. All tears, all bruises, all difficulties are seen and shared and treasured, in fact, by those who walk with unseen feet. The time upon this planet may seem interminably long when difficulties are encountered. We can assure each that your time is but the blinking of an eye. Be sure to notice that situation in which you find yourself and to remember that you placed yourself there for a reason. Persevere. The reason is there. It remains. The joy can be found. The purpose is at the center of one’s heart and, all around, friends cheer you on. You are not alone. You shall walk again in sunshine. Q’uo, April 6, 1997

Some of the greatest spiritual growth potential comes from the most difficult challenges in our lives. Each of us has planned such traumatic ways of learning in order to polarize our consciousness more powerfully in service to others. Such an accomplishment carries more weight at the level of our souls. It is much like the old saying that goes with physical exercise: “No pain, no gain.” However, in such a difficult situation it is well for us to remember that we do not face these challenges alone. We have friends who are not only with us physically, but we have unseen friends who are always near at hand who give us support, strength, and inspiration to persevere on our spiritual journeys most especially when the going gets tough.

It takes a good deal of the exercise of our will to grow spiritually by processing difficult catalyst, and it takes at least as much faith in a positive outcome in order to continue our efforts when times seem the toughest and we seem to be unprepared to deal with them. However, if we persist in our efforts we shall, indeed, “walk again in sunshine” with our lesson learned and our hearts opened in joy and in love. In the following quote Q’uo gives us the overview of the value of perseverance:

As each devoted and diligent seeker has for so many, many incarnations attempted within the heavy, chemical, third-density illusion that you inhabit, you seek that I AM where the heart leads. In the silence of your meditation you reach as fully and firmly as you can to grasp the essence of that quality that you experience and bring it forth into your life as the attitude of your beingness, and attempt to see and feel and be and touch and smell and experience and share the one Creator that you find within, in whatever way is open to you. However well or poorly you may proceed at each moment that you experience in a conscious fashion, you try, you give, you offer in every instance of opportunity, and although you shall not fully succeed at all times or even in a majority of your attempts, it is the perseverance, the dedication, the continual reminders that you see about you and that you give to yourself, then, that are the refining qualities of the fire of experience that is yours within your evolution. Seeing but glimpses of the one wishing to know more purely, sharing but partially, becoming weary with effort, pulling together the desire again and again and again, it is this desire that is your most honored ally upon this journey. Since our temperatures are rising into the 50s and 60s this week I have decided to do some slow and steady work outside that would not be a problem for my stress fracture. So this afternoon I slowly walked around the yard and picked up some small limbs that have blown down in the last week or so. I got enough to fill one garbage can that I will put out for yard waste pickup Thursday.

Vehicles Of The Spirit

I am the spirit of the living Christ and I speak to you through this instrument in peace.

May you experience love washing over you in waterfalls and great channels of swift-moving power.

Yet if you do not experience the spirit in this wise, know that it is also through quiet and subtle movements and effects that the spirit makes itself known to the churches and to humankind. For it is not only those who gesture and speak with authority, claiming a closeness with the spirit by virtue of station or special knowledge that others do not have, that spread transformation upon the Earth but also every movement of light, every creation of form and every happenstance and event which carries the message of the spirit of Christ.

Look for the spirit of love in unlikely and hidden places as well as the great shelves and benches of sunlit and authoritative existence and information, for we of the principle of love scorn nothing. All is a vehicle fit for the spirit, and all is fit to be transformed through Jesus the Christ.

May the peace of transformation be with you now and always. Amen.

Humor

Cultivating a sense of humor can be the saving grace for living in this difficult third-density illusion. To be able to laugh during the tough times is a quality that we can use to remind us that we are all fallible and that is OK. We don’t have to be what most people call perfect in order to be perfect in the overall sense. I think that Ra said it best in 57.1:

Questioner: Could you first give me an indication of the instrument’s condition, please?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument is under a most severe psychic attack. This instrument is bearing up well due to replenished vital energies and a distortion towards a sense of proportion which your peoples call a sense of humor.

Carla was the focus of many psychic attacks during the time that she served as the instrument for the Ra contact because our negative friend of fifth density—and its fourth-density minions—wanted to put out her light, stop the Ra contact, and offer Earth darkness where there once was light. But Carla knew that her life’s mission was to do what she was doing, and she could not be tempted away from serving the one Creator with every fiber of her being. That gave her the confidence to put all of the psychic attacks into their proper perspective as having no chance to sway her devotion to service away from being accomplished. That negative entities thought such was possible was laughable to Carla.  She saw humor where it would have been so easy to see a heavy weight to bear. In more general terms, that any seeker of truth can use in their own life, Ra also made this suggestion in 34.6:

Questioner: Thank you. Can you give me examples of catalytic action to produce learning under each of the following headings from the last session we had . . . Can you give me an example of the self unmanifested producing learning catalyst?

Ra: I am Ra. We observed your interest in the catalyst of pain. This experience is most common among your entities. The pain may be of the physical complex. More often it is of the mental and emotional complex. In some few cases the pain is spiritual in complex-nature. This creates a potential for learning. The lessons to be learned vary. Almost always these lessons include patience, tolerance, and the ability for the light touch.

Pain is a common catalyst upon our spiritual journeys, and Ra said that we all are subject to pain that can have its source in our bodies, our minds, our emotions, and even in our spirits. But we don’t have to give in to that pain and feel that our lives are hopeless. We can learn and grow from such experiences by using the self-treatment of practicing patience with our need to process the catalyst, tolerance for the variety of pains that we feel, and the ability to take a larger view of our situations.  We can achieve this larger view by cultivating the “light touch”, the sense of proportion that humor can give us when we can face the pain that seems too much and, once again, learn its lessons that help us to progress spiritually.

Ra even had humor in mind when they looked upon the plight of negatively-oriented social memory complexes when they discovered that they could not proceed very far into the sixth-density experience without having to give up their negative polarity and become positively-oriented as they pointed out in 67.27:

 Questioner: Thank you. In closing that part of the discussion I would just say that if there is anything that we can do that is within our ability—and I understand that there are many things such as the ones that you just mentioned that are not within our ability—that we could do for this particular entity, if you would in the future communicate its requests to us, we will at least consider them because we would like to serve in every respect. Is this agreeable to you?

Ra: I am Ra. We perceive that we have not been able to clarify your service versus its desire for service. You need, in our humble opinion, to look at the humor of the situation and relinquish your desire to serve where no service is requested. The magnet will attract or repel. Glory in the strength of your polarization, and allow others of opposite polarity to similarly do so, seeing the great humor of this polarity and its complications in view of the unification in sixth density of these two paths.

The humor that Ra was talking about is that after moving through the third, fourth, and fifth densities by separating themselves from others and controlling others in the absolute sense, the negative entities could not move very far into the sixth density because as Ra said in 36.15:

The sixth-density negative entity is extremely wise. It observes the spiritual entropy occurring due to the lack of ability to express the unity of sixth density. Thus, loving the Creator, and realizing at some point that the Creator is not only self but other-self as self, this entity consciously chooses an instantaneous energy reorientation so that it may continue its evolution.

And now, for the negative entity, all that work of polarizing negatively through nearly 100 million years of work, their negative polarity has to be abandoned and reversed, in order to become positively-oriented, and continue their journey into unity with the one infinite Creator. But I am sure that after becoming positively-oriented such an entity could also see the value of realizing a sense of proportion—humor—in its situation. I can imagine the former negative entity putting the palm of his hand to his forehead and saying “If I had only known this in third density!!!”

Q’uo also had some profound words of wisdom concerning the value of humor that can comfort and inspire any spiritual seeker of truth:

Another great resource for one who moves through darkness and pain is a sense of humor, or a wider viewpoint that sees the lightness of heavy situations. When a seeker can laugh at the peculiarities of his suffering and embrace them instead of expressing jobations [3] and complaints, that seeker is tuning himself as a musician tunes his instrument or a singer vocalizes before a performance. . .

When you do realize at last the beauty of this completely rounded life you live spiritually, dark side, light side, dark side, light side, then every turn of the spiral helps you to rewire yourself.

In some ways, this rewiring is useful in this incarnation. In other ways, the heart of its use is the moment when you have shifted from this earthly valley of the shadow of death through the gateway of intelligent infinity for one final time into larger life, at which time, these heart-felt, sincerely offered devotions of serving through the dark times with faith shall have created for you your next location in time and space. Q’uo, August 7, 2007.

Every one of us will face a variety of trials and tribulations as we move through our incarnational patterns and seek to learn what we have come here to learn. That is just the nature of life in the third density illusion. It is easy to judge ourselves as failures when we experience yet another difficulty that seems all too familiar. Our parents, teachers, friends and our culture in general provide the voices that plant these self-criticisms in our minds as we go through the enculturation process.

At some point we need to let all of these false images of ourselves fall away from our consciousness and then replace them with a broader point of view that reveals the humor and truth of the situation. In this broader point of view it is perfectly acceptable and honest to realize that we are “an object of ridicule, silly, wrong-headed and erroneous, but that that is fine” because that is the way all human beings are. It is the “human condition”. We all come here with pre-incarnative lessons to learn, which Ra called distortions, that take some time to balance and move forward from. If you can make this realization that you are no more or less than any other human being, then you can accept yourself as a comedic actor on the stage of life. And you can laugh at yourself, with the best of humor and loving acceptance, as you observe your spiraling between the light and dark repeatedly on your spiritual journey.

When we have these experiences, which seem positive or negative, we are actually realizing the 360-degree nature of ourselves and balancing all of the catalyst that has come our way to become, more and more, the one infinite Creator. Q’uo completed their thought on using humor to see ourselves by saying that “these heart-felt, sincerely offered devotions of serving through the dark times with faith” will serve us well not only during our lives here on Earth but will provide us a path through death’s door as we return to our true homes in time and space and Players on the Gameboard of Life while we are on Earth.

This afternoon I was again honored to be the guest on Jonathan Tong’s Law of One Study Group. As usual it was a lively Question and Answer session with over 30 people in attendance. The questions were some of the best yet in areas like the value of regressive hypnosis, the nature of the energy centers, working with dreams, taping our public channeling sessions so people could listen to them on our website, the qualities necessary for harvest into the fourth density, positive and negative polarities, and many more. I enjoyed the camaraderie and the good vibes that were generated all around.

Tides Of The Spirit

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

How deeply below the ground of The sensation, feeling and thought run the tides of the spirit within each individual! If you wonder at the seemingly random turns and twists of daily life, the answers that deny randomness and proclaim the harmony of the great Deity’s plan lie far too deep for discovery.

Like a great underground sea, the spirit makes all things new and guides circumstance in order that the fullness of experience may provide the opportunity for divine change. Thus when you ask for the Comforter of the spirit of Jesus the Christ to come upon you, know that the more intense your asking, the greater your opportunity for renewal and change. For you may be created anew at any time that you truly wish it.

With love of such power, peace may not seem possible, yet this power is harmonious, and, whatever the appearances, its outworking lies in perfect peace.

And in this peace that is strife to the world, we leave you, now and ever. Amen.
