I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the quote from 103 comes from Chapter One and the section on how to listen:

How to listen

Communication is the word that describes the goal of coming into union with another person through the use of words. In such a sharing of our thoughts and feelings with another person we are seeking to give and receive helpful information about ourselves and an other self. In order for such communication to work there needs to be an alternation of speaking and listening. I am of the opinion that the more difficult half of this coming into union is the listening. The talking is the easy part. More often than not a person is more interested in being heard than in hearing. This usually manifests in the one listening not really listening when the other person is talking as much as they are fashioning a response to what the other person is saying as they are saying it. In a hustle and bustle world this is often utilized as the quickest means of getting the conversation completed so that one more item on the to-do list can be checked off as the next one is undertaken. Actually taking the time to let the spoken words sink in before responding might even be considered a little weird in our fast-paced modern world. Carla had some perceptive insights into the art of listening:

What comes through in correspondence or talking may or may not be a linear, straight-forward thing with a shallow bottom and clear meaning. Far more likely is a multi-layered piece of communication in which some questions and issues may be expressed while others remain unspoken and perhaps even unknown to the speaker. This is also the nature of the listening self, and each and every distortion and insecurity can baffle clear listening. How we hear people begins in a welter of our own unadmitted biases and progresses through patience, persistence and sheer learning experience and the ensuing humility. Carla L. This very mindful process of engaging in communication with the emphasis on listening, as the avenue to greater clarity in communication, elevates a conversation to a spiritual practice. That is certainly antithetical to the practical demands of our modern culture, but I believe that it is possible that in our most important one-on-one communications it would be well worth the effort to utilize the listening ear more in order to enhance our coming into union with our much-valued other selves. Once again I would like share a beautiful quote from Carla on the value of listening:

The spiritually oriented listener, then, is listening in eternity, with the consciousness of the widest viewpoint, which is infinity, and yet she is also focusing on this one soul, this one thought process, this one area of concern and learning. It is a practice to delight the heart that yearns always to be better, to serve in a higher way, to become more pure, to honor the divinity in people more deeply. It is a nurturing method that is intangible, yet most keenly felt by the speaker. There is nothing like the feeling of finally being fully heard, or even heard at all. As with the exercise of all gifts, the listener becomes the learner of much. Beyond any understanding of the problems heard about, there is the process of resting more and more in the wordless clarity of silence to bring our minds and hearts to a more profound awareness of the self as a spiritual being. This is the greatest gift of silence: it gives us ourselves as it gives the speaker himself. Carla L. Rueckert, A Wanderer’s Handbook, pg. 452

In this quote Q’uo gives us the thought that our listening to others might be more spiritually advanced as a means of enhancing communication rather than attempting to be heard.

Earlier conversation before this channeled communication talked about the way people do not listen to each other but rather each have things they wish to say to the other, and this is, of course, a very prominent way in which clear communication is sabotaged. If you become aware of a situation in which your words are not being heard, then it is that you may ask yourself whether you wish to be heard or whether you wish to allow the other self to express that which that self wishes to express and assume a role of simply listening. In many instances the appropriate response we would say, metaphysically speaking, is simply to abandon the desire to be heard and become a sounding board that can hear what an other self is attempting to say. This yielding up of the inner agenda and the thing to say is a mark of spiritual maturity. It is an action very difficult to complete, for there is within each self a deep well of desire to be heard, to be heard by the self, and to be heard by those other selves which have meaning for the self. And yet many times the straightest and shortest distance to clear communication is to become silent, to release the desire to be heard and to accept, temporarily, a role of purely listening. Today I went to see Bethany at Absolutely Nails to get my hair cut. Carla introduced me to Bethany years ago as she also cut Carla’s hair and did her nails and was happy to cut my hair too. It had been a while since I had seen her as I only get a couple inches of my hair cut off every three or so months, so we had a chance to catch up on what had been happening in our lives while she was cutting my hair. When I got back home I took my speed walk and then vacuumed the first floor of the house.

Sleep’s Communion With Spirit

I am of the principle of divine love. I greet you in the full consciousness of that love which is the love of Jesus the Christ.

Once more the day’s star shines and the activities of a busy round begin. And each soul, vertical, dressed, equipped for the day, moves into the rhythms of that vertical activity which is called living the life.

May we suggest that it is most helpful to realize that that which has been yours during your sleep, during your period of horizontal relaxation, is most valuable. For upon your bed you do not strive. You do not struggle. You do not mourn or praise. But as one who dives into deep water, you are covered with the blessings which sleep brings. For sleep opens the door to the spirit’s communion with that spirit which we are.

Allow the vertical part of your life to carry the horizontal member which lies within the heart and mind. Allow the consciousness of peace and comfort to interpenetrate each activity. For those peaceful lessons learned upon the nightly bed may so inform the day that your life finds more and more value in its happenings.

You see, your life is only yours insofar as you perceive it, and it is your powers of perception that are clarified and strengthened by obtaining the peaceful spaciousness of water whilst bounding actively upon the currents of the air.

Might this combination of action and rest offer you enhanced realization of peace, now and ever. Amen.

Radio Station analogy—we broadcast with more or less clarity according to our balanced energy centers

 So, the first thing that you communicate as an entity is your vibration, and from it people will take much. They will form an attitude towards you dependent upon how that vibration that is they and that vibration that is you are harmonizing. Neither you nor they may be aware that this subtle bodywork is going on, but bodies themselves are aware of these vibrational characteristics, and perhaps you have had the experience of cottoning to someone and not particularly liking someone else from the very instant of meeting. Often the communication of vibration has done its work before a word is spoken. Q’uo, December 5, 1999

The work that we do to crystalize our energy centers causes each of us to vibrate within a certain frequency that is unique to us. We become more authentic beings as we become more of who we really wish to be and how we are able to reflect our service-to-others polarization choices. We also are able to perceive how other people vibrate in accordance with their own level of balance within their energy centers. Sometimes we are aware of this vibration of another person’s nature simply by being in their presence as Q’uo mentioned.

However, no matter what feelings we may have about another person, it is important to remember that we are all one. We are all part of each other and part of the one infinite Creator as well. We all work together as pieces of the puzzle of life, and we can help each other make sense of this third-density illusion. If we can love each other as we love ourselves—and loving ourselves is critical in this case—we can form a bond as Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life and help each other find answers to those questions that are most important to us as Q’uo described in this quote:

Do any of you who think you came to this planet and entered into its illusion to be untouched by it? Spend time each day to fall in love with yourself and you are a child of God. The Creator loves you with a love so passionate no words could express it. The Creator loves just precisely who and what you are and the Creator sends to each person who is blind His companions along the way, who reach out the hand of the Creator to you and call out, “I love you.” These are the words of the Creator. That is why we ask each of you to love each other because each of you need someone’s help in loving yourself.

Oh, how we wish we could emphasize to you greatly enough the enormous difference you can make in your life experience to truly love the self as the self is, with its biases towards excellence and biases towards what the self perceives as faults. Does not each entity have many faults? As you forgive your comrades along the way realize that you are forgiven yourself and each time to sit in meditation spend a moment within the deepest part of yourself to say to yourself, “I love you with my whole heart,” the love, the thought which is the lesson of this density. We all have gifts that can help us and others on this journey of seeking the truth and the freedom that comes from finding it together. This is the basic work in consciousness that is the foundation upon which our potential social memory complex of planet Earth can be created as Q’uo suggested in this quote:

The enjoyment of [the] light of fourth density is dependent upon being able to move into a state of consciousness in which all other selves are seen as the self and all crimes and achievements are seen as a portion of the universal self and to move that 180 degrees [until] the self is seen as all things and as the Creator. That unification of consciousness opens the self to loving and being loved in a way that the body loves itself rather than the way entities who are separate units love each other.

Each is unique. We do not presume a high mentality, but rather we suggest that, at the subconscious level, all entities within creation are already one, and therefore the process of moving from third to fourth density in part consists of accepting the oneness at a level which has moved into the belief and perception system of the entity. This biases the conscious entity towards retaining the attitude of unconditional love and outgoing radiance of being at times when there is a perceived threat. The one known as St. Francis of Assisi is said to have called the fire, Sister Fire and the pain, Brother Pain, seeing that all things and qualities are a portion of one infinite creation. This morning Raul’s Lawn Service came by and blew the leaves out of my roof gutters and then blew them over into the driveway where they had blown the leaves from the pet cemetery and pond area into a large pile. Then they used their monster vacuum hose to suck up all of the leaves and deposit them into the back of a large truck. I have been waiting for quite a while to get this job done, and I am grateful to get it done before the next round of rain comes in tomorrow.

This afternoon I went around the house with the garden hose to spray off the dirt that collected on the bottom of the eves when the leaves were blown out of the gutters this morning. Then I went around the back of the house to blow some of those leaves into piles to put them in garbage cans since Raul’s guys forgot to pick them up. I put the garbage cans of leaves out for yard waste pickup tomorrow morning.

A Call To Action

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

This instrument asks me, “Am I ready? Am I tuned?” and we say, “No, my child. You are not ready, but you shall begin.”

And this is our call to those who live and hope to be pure, a call to action in knowledge that those who live are never ready. Those who are finally ready have no more acting to do.

Therefore, my children, be at peace with the actions which you undertake this day, seeking always to know the mind of Christ and to dwell in realms of peace.

And then so act that you may continue to be surrounded in the plenty and the bounty of peace in action. Those who are tranquil in activity are not necessarily wiser, yet they surely may act with more clarity. May you find that clarity. May you be, in action, at peace.

The energy body of each of you is of a crystalline nature. It is sensitive in the extreme and it is easily moved by the light which has been configured through other crystals. As the energy body is developed through the course of an incarnation, where the energy body is strong it forms sometimes quite complex crystals that are of surpassing beauty. Q’uo, February 28, 2009

As we use the balancing exercises to process catalyst at each level of our energy body, or system of chakras, we activate these chakras and cause them to vibrate more and more rapidly. At some point in the utilization of the balancing exercises our consciousness begins to cause not only greater vibrational activity in the lower three chakras, but the green through violet-ray chakras can become crystalized, and then they are more efficient in allowing the love/light, or intelligent energy, of the Logos to pass through them as a crystalized chakra magnifies these energies as Ra mentioned in this quote:

The uncrystallized, lower centers cannot deliver the higher voltage. The crystallized centers may become quite remarkable in the high voltage characteristics of the energy transfer as it reaches green ray. And indeed, as green ray is crystallized, this also applies to the higher energy centers until such energy transfers become an honestation for the Creator. (84.11)

Ra elaborated on this process in 47.7:

Questioner: Can you define what you mean by a “crystallized entity”?

Ra: I am Ra. We have used this particular term because it has a fairly precise meaning in your language. When a crystalline structure is formed of your physical material the elements present in each molecule are bonded in a regularized fashion with the elements in each other molecule. Thus the structure is regular and, when fully and perfectly crystallized, has certain properties. It will not splinter or break; it is very strong without effort; and it is radiant, traducing light into a beautiful refraction giving pleasure of the eye to many.

Here Q’uo describes the crystalline nature of our energy body through which we can potentially contact intelligent infinity:

Firstly, the nature of the energy that is used to open the gateway of intelligent infinity consists of three basic components: the will of the seeker; the infinite love/light of the infinite Creator which, moving from the Logos to the heart, is then reflected up through the Earth into the soles of the feet and into the energy body in an infinite supply. And thirdly, there is that vast array of sources of aid and guidance that can be accessed for those who move through the gateway into intelligent infinity.

In the normal course of seeking, the work of the seeker is first to clear his chakras so that the energy from the Earth may flow in infinite supply into the opened heart and then springboard up through the higher chakras through the gateway of intelligent infinity and then, aimed with the clear and lucid intent of the seeker, attract the appropriate source of guidance.

The energy body is crystalline and delicate. Consequently, the energy of the infinite Creator that comes up from the Earth is geared to harmonize with the needs of the energy body. If this love/light encounters a hindrance, it does not push or press but merely awaits the clearing of whatever energy center or centers have been blocked or over-activated. Q’uo, May 27, 2008

This morning I received a second email from the woman who is channeling love energy to others for healing purposes. She has had some difficulties arise in recent sessions and has stopped having them until she can figure out how to deal with the problems, one of which may be what we came to call psychic attacks or psychic greetings from negative entities. She read my first email and has begun to use some of the suggestions that I made, and in this second email she asked a couple more questions for clarification as to how we dealt with psychic attacks during the Ra contact.

Behind Every Thought

I am the spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ in the vibration of the consciousness of love which is balanced fullness to this entity. We greet each in the full measure of love which is the Father’s birthright to His children and the nature of the universe.

In measured steps did the Creator move upon the waters of your consciousness to create a consciousness of peace, an awareness of light, and a sensibility to detect and discern the creatures and ministers of light. Behind every thought and every concept waiting behind the closed door of emotion, there waits the spirit of a lively and all-consuming love, a spirit which engenders peace and joy. In no way can we sell at reduced rates the precious gift which has no price but must exact from each recipient a small awareness in welcoming.

The emotions of darkness are like a cloud around the spirit of those who cannot find enough faith to ask that love’s consciousness be a gift in the darkness. Yet we pray and wait for the opportunity to shine like a beacon upon the inward thoughts of those who do seek peace. Though there is great mystery to the consciousness of love, yet the mystery lies not in the mechanics of connection with it.

Consciousness

The cosmic consciousness of the One Infinite Creator could be described by the words Love or Logos. In more practical terms these concepts are beings that can be seen as stars in the night sky. These are the beings which created the galaxies and planets, the variety of life forms in each density in this octave of creation, and every thing that exists. In 29.32, Ra gave a basic description of the nature of each Logos:

Questioner: I guess what we’d better get to then, now that we have traced the path of creation at least down to the crystalline structure, we’d better concentrate on the evolution of thought and its seeking path to intelligent infinity. We have created, in the major galaxy of the Logos, a very large number of planets. As these planets develop, is it possible for you to give me an example of various planetary developments in what I would call a metaphysical sense having to do with the development of consciousness and its polarities throughout the galaxy? In other words I believe that some of these planets develop quite rapidly into higher density planets and some take longer times. Can you give me some idea of that development?

Ra: I am Ra. This will be the final full query of this session.

The particular Logos of your major galaxy has used a large portion of Its coalesced material to reflect the beingness of the Creator. In this way there is much of your galactic system which does not have the progression of which you speak but dwells spiritually as a portion of the Logos. Of those entities upon which consciousness dwells there is, as you surmise, a variety of time/space periods during which the higher densities of experience are attained by consciousness.

This whole process occurs because the Creator focused Its free will to know Itself through these various Loves or Logoi to create the photon, or Light. As the photons of Light vibrate at various speeds and angles of rotation, what we see as matter is created. So, our universe is made out of love/light or light/love, and our individual consciousness is directly connected to this whole process. In 27.15-.16, Don and Ra describe this process of creation:

Questioner: Then I will expand a bit more on this concept. We have the infinite vibration of Love which can occur, I am assuming, at varying frequencies, if this has a meaning in this; I would assume that it begins at one basic frequency. Does this have any meaning? Am I making sense? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. Each Love, as you term the prime movers, comes from one frequency, if you wish to use this term. This frequency is unity. We would perhaps liken it rather to a strength than a frequency, this strength being infinite, the finite qualities being chosen by the particular nature of this primal movement.

Questioner: Then this vibration which is, for lack of better understanding, which we would call pure motion; it is pure love; it is— it is not— there is nothing that is yet condensed, shall we say, to form any type or density of illusion. This Love then creates by this process of vibration a photon, as we call it, which is the basic particle of light. This photon then, by added vibrations and rotations, further condenses into particles of the densities, the various densities that we experience. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.

Each Logos refines the nature of the cosmic mind in a way unique to It and offers what is called the archetypical mind. The archetypical mind gives us a blueprint that describes the nature of our evolution in mind, body, and spirit. Each archetypical mind that is created also gives the One Creator more ways to know Itself. Ra developed the Major Arcana of the tarot as a means of categorizing various elements of our minds, bodies, and spirits to give us general guidelines for ways to view our own unique evolutionary process. In 90.14, Ra defined the archetypical mind thusly:

The archetypical mind is part of that mind which informs all experience. Please recall the definition of the archetypical mind as the repository of those refinements to the cosmic or all-mind made by this particular Logos and peculiar only to this Logos. Thus it may be seen as one of the roots of mind, not the deepest but certainly the most informative in some ways.

The next level of consciousness that is created by the Logos is the planetary mind. This is the mind of the population of any planet of whatever density from the fourth through the seventh. If a planet has a variety of races living upon it, as does our Earth, then there is also a racial mind that has its own particular flavor of experience and beingness that adds to the planetary mind. Both the planetary and racial minds are products of the accumulated memories or experiences of the entities which comprise them. Each of us adds our own experiences to both of these minds. In 91.7, Don and Ra discussed the planetary mind and the racial mind:

Questioner: Now, some entities on this planet evolved through second density into third and some were transferred from other planets to re-cycle in third density here. Did the ones who were transferred here to re-cycle in third density add to the planetary or racial mind?

Ra: I am Ra. Not only did each race add to the planetary mind but also each race possesses a racial mind. Thus we made this distinction in discussing this portion of mind. This portion of mind is formed in the series of seemingly non-simultaneous experiences which are chosen in freedom of will by the mind/body/spirit complexes of the planetary influence. Therefore, although this Akashic, planetary, or racial mind is indeed a root of mind it may be seen in sharp differentiation from the deeper roots of mind which are not a function of altering memory, if you will.

The next levels of mind to be considered are the unconscious and conscious mind of each entity within either a planetary or racial mind. Each individual entity will have both an unconscious and a conscious mind because of the presence of the veil of forgetting which separates the two. In the following quote Q’uo describes how the conscious and subconscious minds may be used to get helpful spiritual information in working with dreams:

It is well, if one wishes to work with the dreams, that one indeed prepare the self to do so. For in working with the dreams, one is working with the deeper portion of one’s own conscious and subconscious mind. At this level of awareness there is a perception of experience as a whole. There is the unification of that which seems broken to the conscious mind that resides within the deeper portions of the mind. And as you are able to work with this portion of your own mind, you develop a pattern or relationship which can be built upon, expanded and relied upon in all future endeavors. It is well therefore to, shall we say, convince the subconscious mind that you do indeed wish to seek that treasure which it has to offer. This may be accomplished by simple things that are repeated; that is, [make] the suggestion to the conscious mind, to yourself, as it would seem, that as you retire for the night and enter that state called sleep, you wish to remember those dreams which follow and that you have indeed prepared yourself to work with these dreams by placing, next to your sleeping position, the necessary writing utensil and paper or pad upon which you may record the dream upon waking. Q’uo, May 18, 2003.

There is a third type of mind that connects the conscious and unconscious minds, and that is what is called the intuition. The intuition is a means of communication utilized by the unconscious mind to give hints and clues to the conscious mind regarding the more appropriate thoughts or actions that the conscious seeker may take to aid its evolutionary process and its service to others choices. Here Q’uo talks about how the intuition can connect the conscious and unconscious minds:

The continued seeking by the conscious self creates an opening in what you have called the veil which separates the conscious from the unconscious mind, and through this opening, then, the symbols and images and messages from the unconscious are made available to the seeker in the form of dreams, and also in the form of what you may call the intuition or flashes of intuition and inspiration which occasionally lighten and brighten the conscious experience. Q’uo, May 22, 1983.

Thusly are all of these levels of mind, from the cosmic consciousness of the Creator to the conscious mind of each of us, a means of providing more information to the seeker of truth. As one ascends in the contact with the higher levels of mind, or consciousness, the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life is able to achieve a larger and larger perspective from which to experience the unitive nature of the Creator, the creation, and the self.

This morning I began my errand run at First Watch once again where I enjoyed a brunch of a Belgian waffle. Then I stopped at Paul’s Fruit Market to buy some food for myself. My next stop was at Walgreen’s Drug Store where I bought some ice cream and Kleenexes. Then I was off to the vet to buy some meds for Boscoe and Mr. Mush. My last stop was a Concept Cleaners where I bought bags for my vacuum cleaner.

The Heart Of What You Learn

I am the spirit of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

Much is not known to you. And because your minds ceaselessly seek knowledge, your ignorance is a burden. And you are concerned with learning more, gaining information and so controlling your environment.

The forces of love are not inimicable to the forces of mind. Rather, the voice of the spirit is that which, through and beneath all written and intellectual learnings, brings the heart of what you learn to the center of your own mind, thus ordering in a helpful and compassionate way that data which your mind would otherwise make into a maze into which it wanders, confused and uncertain.

By all means, seek that information which humankind has collected. But seek also that great judge and orderer of what is, for you and you alone, the creative and shaping force of the spirit of love. Thus peace and right knowledge shall be yours and your path shall be made clear. Trust your world, remembering to keep it in the hands of the spirit of Jesus the Christ.

Tuning

If there is not a steady practice of meditation of one kind or another there is a far less firm place where the observer-self may look upon the challenges of a busy life and see through them to the peace and the power that lie within faith, that faith that all is well. That simple statement, “All is well,” is a good mantra for any discipline, for it is at the heart of faith. Q’uo, March 28, 2009

Since Carla started channeling in 1974, it was obvious to her that anyone serving as an instrument, or channel, needed to prepare herself for this service by raising her spiritual awareness and vibrations to a high enough level that she could make the best possible effort in channeling. So can each of us use meditation to help us to tune ourselves into a more conscious spiritual awareness with which we may meet the day and all the people and activities that it will contain. Q’uo called this spiritual awareness faith, not faith in any particular thing, but faith that “all is well,” and that all will be well as Q’uo stated in this quote:

The trust of which you speak in relation to faith is not only in one’s feelings but the feeling that despite that which one sees and experiences that one knows that all is well, that one knows that all will be well, that what is occurring at any moment is appropriate and may be learned from in an effective manner which enhances the evolutionary journey. Each entity along this journey will have those times of doubt, of trial, of confusion, of feeling lost, of feeling alone. All of these and many more experiences are those which test one’s character, which offer one kind of lesson or another. There are as many kinds of learning as there are entities to learn. However, in each experience and for each entity, if one can uncover that feeling of faith within and let it be the north star, the Polaris of the self, then one may move without fear and accept whatever is the daily round of activities as they come to one. For an entity that is filled with faith, there is no challenge too great. For any entity without faith, all challenges feel too great. Faith is that which one develops by wishing to develop faith. If one feels faith is lacking in the life pattern, begin to investigate the qualities of faith, the nature of faith, and begin to act as though you have faith, and faith will come to you. Moreover, faith will come through you, for faith is like love. It is a basic quality of this and all creations. If one can begin to exercise the quality of faith it is much like your physical muscle. It will grow in strength and ability. Q’uo, September 10, 2000.

Meditation, at its very heart, is a listening to the Creator within us that communicates this “all is well” message in ways that are too deep for words, that bubble up from the depths of our being and inspire us to share this faith with those we meet in our daily round of activities. Here Q’uo gives a beautiful description of how meditation can tune us to our highest and best self, the Creator within:

We ask you, what is meditation? Do you think of sitting upon a mountain? Do you think of old men in white robes with long beards? That is not a full representation of the wisdom one gains in meditation and the time it takes to get it. But we ask you instead, my friends, to think of meditation as a process, as the trip up that mountain. You are in your street-soiled clothing, and it is warm day and the valley below you has the stench of too much civilization. As you climb, the smog recedes, and the warm, clean air begins to glow about you. A white butterfly dances before you. And you laugh at the sweet smelling air and the butterfly and the fine day that you have found in the high place.

After much climbing, when you are weary, you come to a perfectly smooth lake. It is so pellucid that you can see to the very, very bottom. You remove your clothing, and swim across this lovely, quietly melting lake. And as you walk up the other shore of this tarn, you find that there are new garments waiting for you to pick—garments fresh, sweet smelling as the day, comfortable and pleasant in every way. All that is without you is now cleansed and ready and you walk to the mossy, natural seat that overlooks vast distances. And you settle yourself and you allow all things to flow away, for you have been washed clean and that which is before you is new.

You do not need to ever come out of that meditation. The more you practice the experience of meditation, the more the process will be a portion of you. Then that process itself begins to give you the will to call upon the state of mind in which the kingdom of heaven and the Creator are near, or indeed are all about you. Those things which are full of the stench of complication, semantics and civilization may be seen as from that viewpoint. You may choose that viewpoint any moment. You may behave in the light of your relationship with the Creator, rather than your relationship within an illusion to the Creator, as that portion of the Creator is experiencing itself. Choose. And each time that you do, know that it is your choice and that when we speak to you of meditation, boring though that subject may seem, we wish only to give you the basic tool for renewal of the sense of the original Thought that each of you seeks with such determination. This morning I was able to finish reading the book on the archetypes that was written by a friend of L/L Research. It was a very inspirational experience as many of the concepts that Ra spoke about in relation to each archetype were extended and magnified and increased my previous thoughts in a way that I found most helpful. Needless to say, I had very few suggestions as to how to improve this work, but I did send an email to the author with my praise for his work.

The Holiness Of High Places

I am of Jesus Christ. The full consciousness of love is the principle which wings my being into the nexus of your own. We who are of the principle of Jesus Christ greet you in that consciousness of love which pervades all things.

It has long been in the consciousness of humankind that the high places, the mountains and hills, are holy. Is there superstition and false belief to the holiness of high places? Perhaps some, and yet it is most certainly true that the spirit of the one Lord of all things dwells more purely in less cluttered atmospheres and is more prevalent in the perceptions of those who seek to rise, literally and symbolically, from the miasma of thought pollution which infects any crowded community.

We are able to speak anywhere, under any conditions. Yet the voice of love is often silent. To hear the stillness, it is often most helpful that the distractions of noise from other minds and other hearts which seek after other faces of the Lord be somewhat removed, both literally and, shall we say, psychologically. If you cannot get yourself to a high place within your external world, be absolutely certain that the high places within your own hearts are kept.

We leave you in the peace of holy places and still thoughts, now and forever. Amen.

Discipline of the personality—balancing exercises

The balancing exercises that Ra gave us are a means of creating a discipline of our personalities by processing our catalyst that is related to each of the chakras, or energy centers, in our body. As the love/light, or intelligent energy, of the Logos is attracted through our south pole, it begins its upward journey through our energy system starting with the red-ray chakra. This chakra deals with sexuality and survival. Any catalyst can be used in any of our chakras, depending on how clear of blockages our chakras are. As we move up the remaining chakras we move through personal eccentricities, group energies, the open heart, clear communication, universal consciousness, and the sacred nature of each moment. Our movement through our energy centers is similar to our progress through the densities, only on a smaller scale. In 50.2, Ra described how the south pole attracts our experiences (which are likely pre-incarnative choices) to us for our use in growth:

Questioner: In the last session [you] made the statement that experiences are attracted to the entity through the south pole. Could you expand on that and give us a definition of what you mean?

Ra: I am Ra. It takes some consideration to accomplish the proper perspective for grasping the sense of the above information. The south or negative pole is one which attracts. It pulls unto itself those things magnetized to it. So with the mind/body/spirit complex. The in-flow of experience is of the south pole influx. You may consider this a simplistic statement.

The only specific part of this correctness is that the red-ray or foundation energy center, being the lowest or root energy center of the physical vehicle, will have the first opportunity to react to any experience. In this way only, you may see a physical locus of the south pole being identified with the root energy center. In every facet of mind and body the root or foundation will be given the opportunity to function first.

What is this opportunity but survival? This is the root possibility of response and may be found to be characteristic of the basic functions of both mind and body. You will find this instinct the strongest, and once this is balanced much is open to the seeker. The south pole then ceases blocking the experiential data and higher energy centers of mind and body become availed of the opportunity to use the experience drawn to it.

The work that we do in the third density sets the stage for millions of years of refining and crystallizing our chakra system as we move through the higher densities. As we move through each density, the corresponding chakra for that density will have the opportunity to function far more fully. Here Q’uo gives us a general overview of our evolution in the higher densities:

We would respond by noting that in higher densities there is still a certain amount of limitation of the viewpoint due to being incarnate. It is not that higher densities are aware of the future but rather that, beginning in fourth density, there is no veil, so that there is a complete transparency concerning your own thoughts, motivations and so forth and the thoughts and motivations of others as well.

It does not make you a person without distortions. It makes you a person able to see the reason distortions occur. And, consequently, it makes you a person able to have utter compassion upon your own distortions and those of others and to be willing to collaborate, distorted though you are, distorted though others are, in the dance of manifestation and in the process of acquiring insight.

When one is between incarnations, regardless of the density in which this occurs, one is indeed able to view the full panoply of experience which has been gained by one’s soul stream. However, it does not make one able to see or predict the future. It makes one able to be more wholly aware of all of the influences that have washed through the soul stream, leaving their blessings behind.

There is a subtlety that is endless to the question of selfhood and because of the fact that the Creator itself is a mystery, so are you a spark of that Creator, wrapped in and bound by mystery. What some call enlightenment and what others call becoming able to awaken one’s magical personality is not a matter of knowing more. Rather it is a matter of accepting that little bit which one knows, therefore becoming able to be authentically and genuinely who one is. This is your search and this is your gift, to find yourself and to celebrate yourself.

The point at which all things are known is that point at which all desires have been explored and fulfilled so that there is no longer attachment to anything, be it personhood, achievements or understanding, that shall keep you from placing your entire hope and desire and will towards returning completely to the one infinite Creator, gaining spiritual gravity and losing all memory of self, wrapped at last in infinite unity. Until that occurs, many densities from your present position within this cycle of grades of school, shall we say, you shall have to do without knowledge of the future, my brother, and free will shall be scrupulously observed. Q’uo, May 9, 2009.

In order to achieve a balance in our energy centers we process our catalyst in a way in which will help us to appreciate ourselves more and more as 360-degree beings containing the entire universe of emotions and experiences within us. In the following quote Ra gave us the technique for doing this:

To begin to master the concept of mental discipline it is necessary to examine the self. The polarity of your dimension must be internalized. Where you find patience within your mind you must consciously find the corresponding impatience and vice versa. Each thought that a being has, has in its turn an antithesis. The disciplines of the mind involve, first of all, identifying both those things of which you approve and those things of which you disapprove within yourself, and then balancing each and every positive and negative charge with its equal. The mind contains all things. Therefore, you must discover this completeness within yourself.

The second mental discipline is acceptance of the completeness within your consciousness. It is not for a being of polarity in the physical consciousness to pick and choose among attributes, thus building the roles that cause blockages and confusions in the already-distorted mind complex. Each acceptance smooths part of the many distortions that the faculty you call judgment engenders. Ra, 5.2

The most efficient way to utilize the balancing procedure would seem to be if we combined a meditation at the end of each day with a systematic recall of each day’s catalyst. No matter what the catalyst is: anger/acceptance, happy/sad, patience/impatience, love/hate, confident/confused, willing/unwilling, optimistic/pessimistic, satisfied/dissatisfied, or whatever emotional response has made a distinct impression on your mind, you first accentuate the actual experience. Then you visualize the opposite emotion and let it come into your meditative mind by itself until it is as accentuated as the original emotion. Then you accept yourself for having both means of knowing yourself and the Creator more fully. The reason that this process works was revealed by Ra in 104.2:

It is the way of distortion that in order to balance a distortion one must accentuate it.

In 74.11, Ra gave a synopsis of how the balancing exercises work:

Questioner: Now, what I am trying to get at is how these disciplines affect the energy centers and the power, shall I say, of the white magician. Could you, will you tell me how that works?

Ra: I am Ra. The heart of the discipline of the personality is threefold. One, know yourself. Two, accept yourself. Three, become the Creator.

The third step is that step which, when accomplished, renders one the most humble servant of all, transparent in personality and completely able to know and accept other-selves. In relation to the pursuit of the magical working the continuing discipline of the personality involves the adept in knowing itself, accepting itself, and thus clearing the path towards the great indigo gateway to the Creator. To become the Creator is to become all that there is. There is then no personality in the sense with which the adept begins its learn/teaching. As the consciousness of the indigo ray becomes more crystalline, more work may be done; more may be expressed from intelligent infinity.

To become the Creator may take many lifetimes of spiritual seeking the truth and is certainly the work of the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning I continued working on a book recently written by a friend of L/L Research on the topics of the archetypes of the mind, body, and spirit. He would like my thoughts on his work, so I am taking notes as I go with the hope of being able not only to congratulate him on a job very well done but also offer a suggestion here and there to enhance his work.

At noon I was again a guest on Jonathan Tong’s Seattle Law of One Study Group as I am the first Saturday of each month. Our sessions always utilize the Q & A format. As always, the questions that I was asked to give my opinion upon today covered a wide range of topics and were all very thoughtful and representative of sincere spiritual seeking.

It is an unhappy thing that your peoples find so much pleasure in vain recreations and idle pursuits. For the right use of the illusion may be seen to be that not of the path of least resistance but often the path of most resistance.

Yet it is no penalty to those who must rest from their labors. Rather, it shall be seen, in the context of larger life, that so much precious time was spent as a spendthrift spends money, not for gain but for gadgets.

Spend yourselves, my children, and do not count the cost. Insofar as your will is able to lead you, when the time comes for rest accept your limitations and lie down to be comforted in whatever distractions amuse you. Yet know that if there is energy within you and you spend it foolishly, you shall count it against yourself in the eternal now which is your birthright.

We wish you peace, yet peace which has the sword’s edge; peace that shall forever remove the virginity of innocent delight from your days and replace it with the worshipful gaze of the lover. Amen.

Progress through the densities towards reunification

The one infinite Creator has constructed the entire creation as a means of knowing Itself better. Every form of life at every level in this great octave of existence was made by the Creator out of Its Love & Light, and each of us has this inner drive and desire to reunite with the Creator. Every fiber of our being has this call for unification that enlivens it and inspires us at some point in our third-density experience to become conscious seekers of truth. In the following quote we are reminded of this “irresistible pull to evolution.”

There is an irresistible pull to evolution. There is implicit in the structure of each density every potential outworking of every energy within that density. In a universe of builded light the subtleties are endless and, at the same time, progress through the gradually ascending densities is inevitable and irresistible. The only question that each entity faces is, “How quickly do I wish to progress?” There is no question that you will progress. It is as necessary to our nature to progress as it is for the iron to be drawn to the magnet. It is understandable that you might doubt this, for you see instances of your own lack of perceived progress, and you see apparent lapses in progression on the part of those with whom you come in contact. When these lapses are perceived it is easy to become discouraged, but we would encourage each of you to meet these judgmental feelings about the self and others with the courage of your conviction that all is proceeding according to an unseen plan. Q’uo placed the responsibility for our spiritual progress directly on our shoulders. As we are portions of the Love and Light of the one Creator it is inevitable that we will grow spiritually. We get to make the choice as to how fast we will attempt to grow and how much faith and will we invest in this process in order to become the one Creator once again at the end of this octave of densities as Ra described their own journey of becoming the Creator:

16.22 Questioner: Thank you very much. In previous material, before we communicated with you, it was stated by the Confederation that there is actually no past or future… all is present. Would this be a good analogy?

Ra: I am Ra. There is past, present, and future in third density. In an overview such as an entity may have, removed from the space/time continuum, it may be seen that in the cycle of completion there exists only the present. We, ourselves, seek to learn this understanding. At the seventh level or dimension, we shall, if our humble efforts are sufficient, become one with all, thus having no memory, no identity, no past or future, but existing in the all.

16.23 Questioner: Does this mean that you would have awareness of all that is?

Ra: I am Ra. This is partially correct. It is our understanding that it would not be our awareness, but simply awareness of the Creator. In the Creator is all that there is. Therefore, this knowledge would be available.

Oftentimes our own negative judgements of ourselves are the most limiting factors in our growth. But, as Ra said, there are no accidents. If we contain such self-limiting judgements it is very well part of our own pre-incarnative choices to give us the strength to see ourselves in a new light, to give us the inner strength to process catalyst that may tell us we are not worthy enough, intelligent enough, strong enough or whatever false crippling story seems to limit us. Q’uo recommended a new way to look at ourselves:

Sometimes you find that a situation which you felt had power against you may well stay just as it was before, yet in your consciousness you now understand that there is no power in that situation, but only love. And this understanding transforms your experience. Many things occur by interpretation only, within your mind, so that if love can be applied and the idea of power removed, you can see your interpretation in a new light, and the problem disappears.

We know that you are all here seeking, seeking something that may be true, some one thing that you do not have to dismiss as being another part of a disappointing world. And we say to you, that which you seek, you already are. Be still, my friends, and begin to discover yourself. Be very, very still. There is music within you and around you. Your own physical vehicle makes patterns of energy, tiny sounds that blend harmoniously. Love is flowing between you and those about you. Q’uo, September 5, 1976.

As we process this catalyst, we experience a change in how we see ourselves, and then we know that we are worthy enough, intelligent enough, and strong enough to do what we wish to do to be Players on the Enhanced Gameboard that can eventually progress through the densities in the process of reunification with the One Infinite Creator.

This morning I had brunch again at The First Watch which is my favorite place to have Belgian waffles. Then I stopped by Paul’s Fruit Market to buy some snack type food for later. My last stop was at Walgreen’s Drug Store to pick up a prescription along with a couple of other items.

This afternoon I took a speed walk and then vacuumed the first floor of the house.

Yielding To Unmastered Destiny

I am the Comforter of this child, the principle of the full consciousness of love. I come in the name of Jesus Christ and greet you in the consciousness of love.

Aforetimes it has often been said that men will do as they do for reasons unknown even to them and that the world is a various place, full of difficulties and unexpected pitfalls. And so there is no need to plan for the future; no need to attempt the goodness of spirit or a trusting quality in personality. For are not all things blown by the wind and destined to perish?

Indeed, this yielding to destiny will always be a temptation for those who strive to know the love of Jesus Christ. Such is the appearance of your mundane world. This is why the door is so often closed against our advent into your consciousness, The world you perceive is too much with you and the world you wish to perceive is invisible. What need would there be of faith if you could see the wind and fire of spirit and transformation?

Yet we ask that as each perception of unmastered destiny rises before you, you open the door to a new perception of that same destiny in order that your present moments may find all things possible and all hope gladdening your heart and encouraging your thoughts.

Seek us. Seek love. Seek the truth. For only through determination can such a measure of intelligence come through the doors of your perception.

May you seek and practice peace and may peace be yours, now and ever. Amen.

 Why these concepts make my life better

So at the end of the last section we were talking about healing Mother Earth. As we move into the New Age, the fourth density of love and understanding, it is important to engage in this healing and restitution of Mother Earth as a part of our spiritual journey. Q’uo agreed that such a restitution of our Mother Earth is greatly necessary:

Those coming to the planet now, more and more, are not interested as much in working with the people of the planet to bring them to their metaphysical graduation as they are interested in balancing the somewhat frayed and tattered garment of earth which your planet wears. There is this great need among you because so many of your population are made up of those who have done damage to their planets in the past and who, because they have not been able to break their habits of seeing the Earth as something to be exploited, have again repeated that tendency to do damage.

Therefore, there is the desire to balance all remaining planet-wide karma by doing such humble things as restoring the quality of the soil, restoring the quality of the air, restoring the quality of the water and finding how to live in such a way that, in every facet of your common life, it is understood that you, your planet and all that lives upon it are dancing one dance together to the glory of the one infinite Creator. Q’uo, September 2, 2007.

Here Q’uo said that this process of restitution can actually make our lives better:

You do not have to rescue planet Earth! However, there is a karmic energy within many of your peoples which comes from actions in other lifetimes which resulted in making third-density environments uninhabitable. Therefore, the karma is involved in restitution and stewardship of planet Earth. And there are many people among your tribes all over the globe who feel a tremendous love for the planet itself and a desire to heal it. We would encourage this line of thinking, for truly all is one and your planet is a part of you.

As you move into the future, realize that part of your job has to do with radiating the love and light of the infinite Creator. And another part of it may well have to do with working with whatever energies that are about you in your natural, everyday environment, to attempt to become better stewards of that which is around you. Q’uo, March 19, 2006.

As spiritual seekers of truth each of us is on a journey of many lifetimes, and upon this journey of learning to love with an open heart we have some helpful tools that we can use to expand our awareness of ourselves and the creation around us. Don Elkins looked at this process of spiritual growth as a way of putting the puzzle pieces together. This is how we evolve spiritually. In this section we will look at some of these tools.

Getting the connection between man, tools, and the universe

Consequently, it is simply more efficient to choose the way of the heart, in our opinion, and to see the goal of working with difficulty, not in achieving happiness, peace, or contentment, but rather, simply in continuing to accelerate the pace of spiritual and mental evolution. The energy of the open heart is open ended. It does not attach an outcome. It simply seeks greater openness of self and a greater ability to allow these rising emotions to do the work of the refiner’s fire. The seeker who has faith in the way of love has faith that no matter what comes she will be able to survive it. That no matter how much various difficulties cause suffering and pain she will be able to use those difficulties to refine those rivers of emotion that are rising to consciousness. Q’uo, May 7, 2000

Whenever we decide that we wish to construct a plan for our progress through the densities it is well to build it upon a strong foundation. Q’uo suggested that our best choice for such a foundation is our own open hearts. Not wisdom that seeks to describe what it sees in a clear and linear sense, but the open heart which feels a unity with and compassion for everything within the creation. Our open hearts can allow our deepest emotions, that are connected to our unconscious minds, to rise into our consciousness with their messages. These messages are from our very being and inform our minds and our hearts as to the directions that feel best for us to travel as Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life. Q’uo describes the process of opening our hearts:

We would suggest that it is not the first goal of communication to make sense or achieve objects, but, rather, the first goal of communication is to open the heart to another entity and allow that entity to see your heart. In terms of energy, communication is far beyond that which is thought of as communication among your peoples. What passes for communicating among your peoples is that which never achieves any energy level beyond red, orange and yellow-ray concerns. Much communication among your peoples does not involve the heart, and we would suggest that skill in communicating involves becoming a spiritually viable entity that moves into the heart, anchors the self within the heart, and only then turns outward with a willingness to share ideas. Were entities to invoke their own open hearts before each communication, we feel that much that is contentious among your peoples would naturally fall away.

Again and again it is necessary to move into the silence of one’s own heart. Call to yourself this day with that inner tolling bell of love unknown. Let that bell within toll for you. Let it ring out and resound in the shoals and the deep waters of your being. Open yourself to the wonder of that which is within you and allow a larger picture of self to emerge, a picture of a self that sees the creation as made and says that it is good. For you are co-creator in a far more specific way than perhaps you realized. You, by the seeds of love that you sow this day, create the love of tomorrow. Q’uo, February 24, 2002.

As these “rivers of emotion” that Q’uo mentioned in their first quote continue to flow into our consciousness we may discover that there are childhood sufferings and woundings that need our attention. They have come from the enculturation process where we as children were often required to conform to procedures and rules that were made for the benefit of adults and not children: how to act, how to talk, how to think. Here Q’uo speaks to this subject of childhood sufferings and woundings:

Yes, Q’uo, I have a question. We’ve been doing a lot of discussing about the childhood and working those things out. And it seems that problems in the childhood that aren’t worked out sometimes tend to contaminate the present moment and working things out, apparently, is going to be a very difficult and very painful process. My question is, is the clearing out and balancing of all of these painful experiences and feelings and dusting out cobwebs beneficial to allowing the present moment to be experienced with more purity or perhaps more clarity?

I am Q’uo, and am aware of your query, my sister. We feel that you have a good grasp of this concept, for it is the early experiences within each entity’s incarnation that prepare the entity for those lessons that shall be laid out and those trails that shall be followed in order that an overall balance within the mind/body/spirit complex might be obtained. The clarity of vision of which you spoke is increased as one is able to see those factors and forces that have shaped one’s attitudes and which yet echo within the present moment of each entity. A portion of one’s efforts is well spent when one attempts to understand the formative years and their effect upon the perceptions and life pattern. The ability to enjoy each passing moment is enhanced, as one is able to balance the distortions that have been borne for these many years. This is not an escape into the past as one is attempting to enhance one’s ability to express the truest nature of one’s personality as the clearing of these early imprints is completed. Q’uo, March 20, 1991.

But now as adults, if we can operate from our open hearts, we can learn to have faith that resting in the love that is part of everything in the universe will provide us the means of surviving these difficulties. Faith is another part of that strong foundation that we need to build our spiritual journey upon as Q’uo said:

So, in your chosen service to another, the greatest efficacy may be found in relaxing into the flowing of a kind of communication from your heart and the deeper portions of your mind to your actions. In such a way you become inspired, and, indeed, you become inspiring. That is, you may inspire others by your lack of fear and concern, and by your wholehearted desire to serve, as well as by the radiance which is peculiar to those who have learned the value of faith governed by a carefully tuned desire. Faith and an open heart are the primary tools for evolution and the foundation upon which that evolution is built.

This morning I spent a good deal of time responding to a young woman’s email who is a channel for an entity that is able to accomplish healing for people in a rather miraculous way. However, this is a new gift of hers, and she has run into some difficulties with feeling weary and worn out of late in these healing channelings and had some questions for me about the concept of channeling and how to prepare one’s self do it well. She asked a few questions about how Carla prepared herself to channel those of Ra, and I did my best to give her our method of tuning and preparation of the place of working. I hope that what I shared with her resolves her difficulties because I believe that she is doing very valuable service-to-others work.

The Home Of The Heart

I am of the spirit of Jesus the Christ, the vibration of the full consciousness of love which comforts this instrument. I offer greetings to you who come in the name of love, greetings of love, of wisdom, of understanding, of power, and of all the mysteries that cannot be grasped or solved within the world of your minds, hearts and hands.

Yet I come without a home, seeking the only home which the consciousness of love may ever have: the home of the heart, the mind, and the hand which seeks, accepts and worships those mysteries which, through faith, seem lovely and true.

Into your home we come to dwell, thanking you for your hospitality and sharing with you those light qualities that may illumine your home and structure and manifest the full consciousness of love into the world which you know and of which you must expect the giving and taking of many confused perceptions.

The spirit and you who seek the consciousness of love are one, incomplete without each other, united before time and after time. We thank each who invites love and to each we shall come in joy.

New Age Fever

The end of our Mother Earth’s third density of 75,000 years is upon us. This great time of transformation into the fourth density of love and understanding has been foretold by many groups. The Mayan calendar says that the New Age was begun at the Winter Solstice of 2012. It signals the end of the Age of Pisces and the beginning of the Age of Aquarius that my hippie generation began to celebrate back in the 1960’s. The Bible speaks about the second coming of Jesus as the signal of the New Age. So, it is no wonder that there is so much “New Age Fever” spreading around the world in various forms according to one religion, philosophy or another. Even the Confederation speaks of this time of change. Something is definitely afoot as described below.

This Age begins a kind of octave and is a tremendous shift. It is occurring very much on time and on schedule. It is, however, to be noted that this event is metaphysical rather than physical. There is nothing inevitable, in terms of physicality, about what is going to occur at the Winter Solstice of 2012.

It is the hope of many entities such as this instrument that in between now and 2012 it will be possible to continue to create an environment in which entities may awaken as to the choice of polarity that they have to make. It is equally hoped by this instrument and many others that they will be able to serve by helping the planet itself, and in this case we are speaking of the third-density Gaia, after 2012. There is a considerable amount of restitution and rebalancing which entities such as you and this instrument may do in order to help the planet itself to heal after the grievous wounds inflicted upon it by the humankind that dwells upon this planet. In the philosophy of the Confederation the beginning of this New Age is the beginning of the fourth density which amounts to our entrance into a new octave of evolution. Whereas our third density was 75,000 years long, the fourth density is 30,000,000 years long according to those of Ra. The greater length of the fourth density will give our Earth’s population much of what we call time to gain a comprehensive understanding of the nature of the evolutionary process. Though the third density is not the density of understanding, as Ra mentioned many times, the fourth density is where understanding is the goal and the process of learning. Since we are just beginning our movement into the fourth density, Q’uo suggested that at this time the shift is more apparent in a metaphysical way than in a physical way.

Q’uo went on to say that in the time that we have left in this third density experience it would be most helpful to try to help heal some of the wounds that have been inflicted upon our Mother Earth by her children. There have been thousands of years of wars as one empire after another has established itself through bellicosity and then has fallen in that same manner. All of that energy of separation has imbued the outer shell or crust of Gaia with the heat of disharmony that has to be periodically released in the form of natural disasters like volcanoes, earth quakes, and global warming that produces violent weather patterns all over the planet. Ra spoke to this process in this quote:

60.20 Questioner: Thank you. In trying to understand the energies—creative energies—it has occurred to me that I really do not understand why unusable heat is generated as our earth moves from third into fourth density. I know it has to do with disharmony between the vibrations of third and fourth density, but why this would show up as a physical heating within the earth is beyond me. Can you enlighten me on that?

Ra: I am Ra. The concepts are somewhat difficult to penetrate in your language. However, we shall attempt to speak to the subject.

If an entity is not in harmony with its circumstances it feels a burning within. The temperature of the physical vehicle does not yet rise, only the heat of the temper or the tears, as we may describe this disharmony. However, if an entity persists for a long period of your space/time in feeling this emotive heat and disharmony, the entire body complex will begin to resonate to this disharmony, and the disharmony will then show up as the cancer or other degenerative distortions from what you call health.

When an entire planetary system of peoples and cultures repeatedly experiences disharmony on a great scale, the earth under the feet of these entities shall begin to resonate with this disharmony. Due to the nature of the physical vehicle, disharmony shows up as a blockage of growth or an uncontrolled growth, since the primary function of a mind/body/spirit complex’s bodily complex is growth and maintenance.

In the case of your planet, the purpose of the planet is the maintenance of orbit and the proper location or orientation with regards to other cosmic influences. In order to have this occurring properly the interior of your sphere is hot, in your physical terms. Thus, instead of uncontrolled growth you begin to experience uncontrolled heat and its expansive consequences.

Ra suggested that we all could partake in the healing of these scars and imbalances that humanity has inflicted on Mother Earth by accepting responsibility as a part of the problem and then seek healing through forgiving ourselves. Ra has advised us that we could use meditation and contemplation as tools to send love, comfort, and healing to our Mother Earth on a regular basis. This is the work of the adept, or the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of life. This work “works” because in truth we are all one with each other and with Gaia, and we have a direct connection from heart to heart and from soul to soul. This type of a shared consciousness makes our efforts at restitution more effective on both the conscious and subconscious levels as we tap into the creative power of love that made our Earth and all other planets, stars, and life forms. Here Ra spoke about this type of healing of Gaia:

26.30 Questioner: And then, can you describe the mechanism of the planetary healing?

Ra: I am Ra. Healing is a process of acceptance, forgiveness, and, if possible, restitution. The restitution not being available in time/space, there are many among your peoples now attempting restitution while in the physical.

26.31 Questioner: How do these people attempt this restitution in the physical?

Ra: I am Ra. These attempt feelings of love towards the planetary sphere, and comfort and healing of the scars, and the imbalances of these actions.

Q’uo also had some suggestions as to what each of us can do to help heal Mother Earth:

There are those of you who wish to help Mother Earth at this time. We are not saying that you should move into the national or international sphere and attempt to change the world. We are saying that wherever you live, there are challenges for the environment and they can best be discussed and dealt with by those who are on the ground in the area, and local.

So set your sights, if you want inspiration, at ground zero for you, the center of your universe, the place that you live. And ask yourself, “What are the problems in this particular community that are trammeling Mother Earth, that are challenging her ability to survive?” ³ And then, when you have targeted a difficult road bed, a misbehaving stream of water, a dam that does not serve the greater good, or whatever it may be, my friends, if it please you, put your heart and your soul into action to amend for the better that particular little part of Planet Earth that needs your help. You are all stewards of it. It cannot alter what man on Earth has done by itself, without the passage of a great deal of time. You are welcome to improve the odds, and to be good stewards of Gaia. This afternoon I attempted to visit a funeral home where a friend of mine invited me to come and pay last respects to a long-time friend of his who passed into larger life a couple of days ago while he was sleeping. However, my GPS led me in circles in trying to get me there, so after driving around for about an hour I headed back home. Fortunately, my GPS got me to a major expressway, and I was able to find my way home.

The Cold Of Human Commonplace

 I am of that principle which is the essence of divine love. I greet you in the full consciousness of that love which is in Jesus the Christ.

How tightly are the seeds furled against the cold of winter this day. And how tightly are your hearts guarded in their hope for growth. They contract, shrinking from the cold of the human commonplace.

Yet we say to you that within the spirit of the consciousness of love lies an eternal springtime. Seek in each daily activity this day the dance of joy which the spirit offers to unfurl the heart within and to join work and love.

May your day dance. May your heart know both winter and the goodness of nurturing and waiting and the eternal springtime of right action led in hope, love and peace. For as you call the spirit, so these qualities come in answer.

The Confederation

The Confederation of Planets in the Service of the One Infinite Creator is the source of all the channeling done from 1962 until this present day at L/L Research. Each contact was with what is called a planetary mind, or a social memory complex. The first extraterrestrial contact back in 1962 was Hatonn, which was also the first that both Don and Carla learned how to channel, Don in 1962 and Carla in 1974. Hatonn was a fourth-density planetary mind, and I first channeled them in 1982. Hatonn offered introductory information regarding the concepts of love and understanding in this quote:

This testing, each day, this testing, each moment of time, is automatic, for it is simply your reaction to each experience that is sensed. Each of you has had reactions to experience that were reactions that you now see as foolish. If one is to reach the goal that he desires during the experience, it is necessary that he adjust his thinking so that his automatic reaction to any experience is always a reaction of love and understanding.

This was demonstrated to you by the master known to you as Jesus. He set an example of reaction to experience. If there is doubt within the minds of individuals as to how they should react to any experience, it has already been set down for you by the man known as Jesus. This man was demonstrating how to react. These reactions were not the product of his analysis or intellect. They were automatic reactions based upon a realization that he had accomplished within the same physical illusion that you now experience.

Because of the consequence of individual experiences within the present illusion, it is a much better test than a less dense illusion. The consequences within the illusion that you now enjoy are seemingly of relatively great magnitude. All of this is for the purpose of testing your ability to express love and understanding. Each of the experiences, regardless of how they seem, are simply illusory tests, operating upon you directly to produce an opportunity for you to display your understanding of love.

This is the only reason for the illusion which you now experience, my friends. If this is the only reason for this illusion, it should be obvious that once an individual is aware of this, that he spend his time in learning to react to each experience with only an expression of love and understanding. Carla first began channeling Latwii, a fifth-density planetary mind, in January of 1979. Latwii could be considered an intermediate source of information as they could speak of light, or wisdom, as well as the love and compassion of fourth-density. In this quote Latwii describes the relationship of love to light and wisdom:

We do not travel in the same type of space ship as the one known as Hatonn. We are closely akin to light itself, and thus travel in what you would simply call light. There is a difficult concept to convey, but our personalities are complete, and the basic difference between ourselves and Hatonn is that our sense of humor has gotten outrageous, so we have trouble sometimes talking to those among your peoples, for they feel that our humor is misplaced in dealing with such serious questions as love, truth, and beauty. However, to us the joy of life is so great that we find all this seriousness very humorous.

The ones of Hatonn are of a love vibration, which is beautiful to us, and they are our brothers and sisters in Confederation, just as we are brothers and sisters. Yet, our union has become more complete, so that we would seem to you to be a great ball of light, and you would not be able to see us as individuals; whereas those of Hatonn would appear to you to be individuals, for they are, shall we say, one level closer to you in the nature of their type of physical vehicle. Latwii, March 4, 1979.

And then in January of 1981, the Ra contact began which, in Ra’s words, was a more advanced approach to the system of studying the patterns of the illusions of your body, your mind, and your spirit, which you call seeking the truth. The 106 sessions of the Ra contact lasted from January 15, 1981, through March 15, 1984.

After the passing of Don Elkins, it was no longer possible to contact those of Ra since Ra had said that it was the harmony between the three of us that supported their contact. Such harmony would not be possible to create without each of us present. However, in January of 1986, a source by the name of Q’uo began to contact our group. When we asked them who they were, they said that they were a principle which resulted from the blending of three planetary minds: Hatonn of the fourth density, Latwii of the fifth density, and those of Ra, present in a stepped down energy, from the sixth density. Usually it was Latwii that gave voice to the words, so we were still getting concepts from those of Ra, in a less precise way, which did not require trance and which Q’uo described in detail in this quote:

We are those of Q’uo, and are aware of your query, my brother. We are composed, as you said, of three groups, one of fourth density, one of fifth density, and one of sixth density, in this instrument’s and our way of describing our relative position and experience. This particular principle was created because this particular instrument has a certain way of tuning and preparing for contact with the Confederation entities. She prays for contact with the highest and best contact that she may handle in a stable and conscious manner. It is a very precise request. The entity whom she tended to receive upon making this prayer, prior to her contact with those of the Ra group, was the Latwii group and she had received those of Latwii fairly consistently for several years before experiencing the trance contact with those of the Ra group.

As each within this circle is aware, the contact with those of Ra was a very narrow-band contact which was only possible during that window of opportunity when the ones known as Don, Jim and Carla were all in the circle and when the one known as Don passed from this third-density experience, the possibility of further contact with this particular entity was ended.

However, this instrument continued to tune and pray in the same manner and those of Latwii and others within the Confederation, including those of Hatonn and those of Ra, felt that perhaps the creation of a principle would best respond to this instrument’s very real desire for the highest and best contact of which she was capable. Since those of Ra could not speak with this instrument in a conscious and stable manner, there was no possibility for that social memory complex being the speaker.

However, both those of Hatonn and those of Latwii had previously enjoyed sharing the thoughts of those of Ra in a teach/learning circle and the three groups decided that they would blend into one principle, with the ones known as Hatonn being responsible simply for projecting a vibration of love, of which I feel sure that each of you is aware as we speak. The ones known as Latwii took the responsibility for speaking through this instrument and the ones known as Ra were part of the process of defining just how to respond to the question that was presented to the principle of Q’uo. So, as those of Q’uo speak, it is those of Latwii who are creating the concepts which this instrument receives and translates into words. Q’uo, November 28, 2004.

Over the years various other Confederation entities spoke through Carla from time to time: Laitos of the fourth density who would help with training new channels or instruments; Monka also of fourth density; L/Leema of the fifth density; Oxal of fifth density; Yadda, Yom, and Nona of unknown density levels who infrequently would join one of our meditations in the early ‘80s. Nona was unique in that she never spoke words but only sang musical notes of a very inspiring quality. Only Carla and one other fellow ever channeled Nona.

Each Confederation contact had its own flavor and take on the vibrations of love, light, and unity. All of the information that we received from the Confederation was of an instructional and inspirational nature. Our call for such information was offered at Sunday night meditations that were composed of a core group plus occasional visitors that would travel from different places around the country to be part of this process of seeking the truth of the nature and purpose of our beings.

This morning the rain began early so that by mid-day we had gotten 4 inches. I had an appointment with my Primary Care Physician to get labs done around 8:30 this morning, so I checked the basement to see how the two sump pumps were handling all this water. Everything was normal so I went to get my labs done, and it was about an hour and a half before I got back as I ran a couple on the way home. I went back down to the basement and could see that the sump pumps had not been able to keep up with the ground water and that there had been some water that backed up under the stairs and around the furnace, but it was now almost gone. I also had to use a pump and hose to pump some of the excess rain water out of the fish pond so the fountain could reach its normal height and provide oxygen for the fish.

Austin came over just after noon and spent the whole afternoon getting my new computer set up so that I could now send emails, have a copy of ABOD to use in my Camelot Journal entries, use the printer with my computer, have access to  my Do Not Delete Files and a whole lot of other technical stuff that required using the hard drive from my old computer to transfer other files to my new computer. A Day Of Forgiveness

I am of the principle of the consciousness of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in whole and divine love.

The Master calls each to a day of forgiveness.

Let this be such a day. During this day, note each to whom your heart has become hard, that you may take this opportunity to call and pray for grace; that you may know how to forgive; that you may learn the gentility, the transformation, and the peace of forgiving.

For what is there to forgive between children in the same family? Do not all families learn from rubbing against each other, perhaps even causing friction but always working as a family? Such is your condition as a soul in the creation in which all of consciousness are children of one Father.

Let this day be your day of forgiveness of others, of yourself, and of your Father. Many things are beyond understanding. But the love and the peace of forgiveness are food for the heart and drink for eternity.

We leave you in forgiveness, peace and divine love, this day and evermore. Amen.
