I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. The quote from 103 today comes from Chapter One and the section on channeling:

Channeling

Beginning in 1974, Don asked Carla if she would be willing to learn how to channel since all of the former members of the Louisville Group were now pursuing their careers after graduating college. Though Carla did not have a great desire to become a channel, she was happy to help Don keep his channeling group going in order to continue gathering spiritually-oriented data concerning the nature of the creation, our spiritual journeys, and how it all worked together. After beginning the channeling process, Carla discovered that she had a talent for channeling, and she also began a study of this unusual method of gathering information. For the rest of her life she continued to refine the process that she used to channel and the way that she taught it to others.

The first refinement that Carla made to the channeling process was what she called “tuning”. Rather than simply meditating and then channeling, she found it was very helpful–to receive the best possible information–to engage in a few minutes of meditation, prayer, and visualization. This process helped her to get her personal vibrations as high as possible, and then she would hold these vibrations steady while engaged in the process of channeling. In the following quote Q’uo gives a very detailed description of Carla’s technique of tuning herself for channeling:

To move back to this instrument’s process of tuning, there is, as you know, the reproduction of the exact question asked, if there is a question which has been asked, while the instrument is in a slightly altered state of consciousness. In this state of consciousness the words are heard differently than if the words were heard before the cleansing process and the fervent, passionate prayer has been done.

Then the tuning of the group begins. Some prefer to “om,” so that all entities within the circle are expelling the breath of life at the same time. Some enjoy the singing, and others enjoy the inspirational music. Indeed, there need not be a seriousness about such tuning devices. For instance, an extremely good tuning song is an old nursery rhyme, “Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream, life is but a dream.” This places you squarely in the consciousness of time and space, and it is from time/space that you are receiving information.

Then, there is the breath given together in the mantram of your choice. This instrument chooses the Lord’s Prayer. There are many other invocations that have resonance for some people which the Lord’s Prayer does not. As long as the import of this mantram is love of the Creator and love of each other, it is of the Christ consciousness and is acceptable to us.

When one has come this far, one then sees to the protection of the self and of the group. This instrument does so by visualizing each chakra in turn, asking it to receive, for this working, the unblocking of all difficulties, that full energy may rise to the heart chakra, and therefrom to the blue-ray energy center, which the vocal channel uses. In order to use the green healing ray, or the blue communication ray, it is vitally necessary to pay constant and close attention to the indigo ray which lies betwixt the brows in the center of the forehead. These lobes of the brain are those lobes in which eternity resides, now safely and securely, and hardly ever touched by human thought or imagination. When one feels that the protection of the working and of the self is complete, you may go on.

This instrument’s method is to move each chakra into its normal balanced brilliance and spinning and life-giving energy, so that there are no blockages for that time, then surrounding the bodily energy in mind with the mixture of the violet ray of identity, and the red ray of life itself. These two colors create a mixture of lavender and red, the kind of color this instrument might call burgundy, and one visualizes it covering and coating the body as if the body were a capsule, and the covering that which held the great medicine of that capsule within it so that it may be useful upon its taking, and not be scattered, so that one is taking small bits and pieces into meditation, but has found a way to be whole.

After that, this instrument visualizes the white light, the full armor of light, placed upon its form, missing no spot, of undifferentiated love manifesting as pure white light. Once that feeling has been achieved—and it is often so that there is a lightness, either physical or mental, experienced during this portion of tuning—one then visualizes, as does each of the support group, this same white light that is first simply a small ball of enormous beauty and luminosity in the middle of the group, by bowing before its wisdom, by accepting its protection, you each allow it to expand, until all of you are bathed in unconditional love and light, the greatest protection available within the personal reference frame.

This instrument then asks the archangels, with whom it has a long history of acquaintance and love, to stand guard over the meeting, to warn of any intruders, and to act as champions of the light which the channel and its group are attempting to produce. The four archangels are Raphael, Gabriel, Michael and Ariel. If you wish to use the same technique as this instrument, you would see the one known as Raphael dressed in raiment so white that it glistened yellow and crimson. It is a silent witness, not a jovial personality. Then, behind the self, one asks for the presence of Gabriel, that great nurturer, who is normally visualized wearing a blue robe, standing in water, which is running and fresh, and offering up a holy cup to the thirsty. To the right there is Michael, the only [one] of the archangels which bears what you would call a weapon. It is the archetypal dragon slayer, it is the protector. It is always alert, and as one becomes adept at these visualizations one may see from the expression on these entities’ faces what the atmosphere is truly like, not seen or felt from the outside, but from the inside, for Michael, more than any of the others, changes posture, changes the angle of its sword, changes its degree of alertness. Lastly, moving from the crimson robes of Michael, we ask that our left side be guarded by the archangel Ariel, which is the personification of Earth cycles. As it moves its multicolored cloak, a wind blows, and leaves, fallen from the trees and dry, rustle across its path. It is a mystery-clad entity, just as death and transformation are unknown until after the fact.

Asking for these archangels, one may begin, upon practice, to feel the great golden dome of metaphysical protection which has been begun by the energy of the group moving in a spiraling, clockwise fashion. This dome is impervious to damaging psychic greeting. It is possible, with this protection, for entities to take advantage of the instrument which falls prey to temptation, or in other ways has some chink in the armor of light, some Achilles’ heel. But if the preparation has been complete and wholehearted, protection reigns within the place of working, and as you repeat over and over this process, it will cease taking so very, very long to do.

The protection having been done, the instrument known as Carla, and again we use this as an example, turns to the prayer of St. Francis, for that is the prayer that is its personal mantram, and we shall recite it in full.

Oh Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is discord, unity; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. Lord, let me seek not to be loved, but to love; not to be understood, but to understand. For it is in consoling that we are consoled. It is in pardoning that we are pardoned. It is in giving that we receive. And it is dying that we rise to eternal life with Thee.

At the end of this private prayer, this continuing inner tuning, the instrument then declares itself as a metaphysical spirit. Let no mistake be made by one who feels unworthy, the universe is a complete democracy, no matter what density, no matter what differences of wisdom or compassion, each is made of the same stuff, that being love itself. The one known as Jesus said, “I am the vine, you are the branches.” Settle yourself with your roots in the ground, and in divine consciousness. When you have declared who you are, with no doubt, no holding back, and no reservation, you have become a being of light in the great democracy of all spirits. No discarnate spirit is ever confused about its identity. Its very existence depends on its knowing who it is, and if an instrument wishes to work with spirits, and have control over that spirit to which it connects, the instrument, too, must know who he is. Then there is a prayer said that the energy not be more than can stably be accepted.

With all of this done, the entity opens itself to contact, declaring precisely who it is, and what challenge any spirit who wishes to speak with it must meet. This instrument challenges in the name of Jesus Christ. It is most important to challenge as each knows, but the challenging depends upon the utter, naked and sometimes hard line honesty of the instrument. You cannot behave as a spiritual being in the presence of discarnate entities. You must be, and consciously be aware of being, an undying and eternal source of light, part of the Creator, and part of the great democracy of all spirits. Q’uo, March 13, 1990

The secondrefinement that Carla made to the channeling process was to offer a mental challenge to any discarnate entity who wished to speak through her any time that she sought to channel. She found, through personal experience, that this challenge needed to be done in the name of whatever was the heart of her spiritual seeking process. Since Carla had inspirational experiences with Jesus beginning at the age of two, she challenged in the name of Jesus Christ. She offered three such challenges before accepting the contact. Q’uo had some general suggestions about the challenging of spirits:

The practice of the vocal channel is one which requires a great degree of study, of practice and of persistence, for it is not an art that might be learned and perfected in a short period of time. Therefore, though we would commend your efforts in pursuing this means of service as you have done, we would suggest that it is but the beginning, the opening of a door, shall we say, that must be done in a careful and persistent manner. There is the possibility for any new instrument to move more quickly, shall we say, than is normally advisable for one seeking to be of service in this manner, for as one serves as a vocal instrument, one is placing oneself potentially closer to a source of light and of power than is normal for any seeker of truth.

This placement of the self in the close proximity to light and to the power that it generates is a step which has some risk, for there is the attraction to this light of beings that are less than desirous of being of service to you as you move toward that light and attempt to reflect or channel to others in a manner that might be of service to them. There are entities, shall we say, of the loyal opposition, those entities who are of the negative polarization who also would seek to control and master the power that is generated by the light that you would attempt to give to others through your vocal channeling. Their presence is a possibility which each new and, indeed, each experienced instrument must take the proper precautions in order to provide protection that will not allow their influence within your circle of seeking while you are practicing the art of the vocal instrument.

We find that you are familiar with the concepts of the challenging of the spirits by the name or concept of that which you hold most dear and that which is the central sun around which your desire orbits in order that you might be of service to others. The challenging of spirits is most centrally necessary at each opportunity that you take to serve as a vocal instrument. Q’uo, March 25, 1989.

I joined Don and Carla on December 20, 1980, and three weeks later the Ra contact unexpectedly began as Don and Carla were teaching a student from the public Sunday night meditations how to channel. Later we learned from those of Ra that the trance contact with them was aided by two trance sessions that Carla had the previous November when she was channeling the recently deceased wife of a friend. Before his wife passed away, they had agreed that she would contact him through Carla to give him information that only they knew, and this would let him know that she was doing OK in her new environment.

When the first contact with Ra occurred, I happened to be out shopping for groceries since I had begun cooking for the three of us in those first few weeks. In this first contact with Ra—and in all 106 sessions with Ra—Carla went into trance and left her body so that Ra could use it from the inner planes of Earth to answer Don’s questions. Don asked me to transcribe the session after it was over, and as I was doing so I could see why he was so excited about this new contact with Ra. Ra spoke eloquently and with precision as they answered Don’s questions about their identity and purpose for contacting our group.

This afternoon I used my backpack blower to blow the leaves out of the garage and then proceeded to blow the leaves out of the giant hibiscus patch into the area of the pet cemetery. I wanted to get all of the leaves in the side yard ready for a lawn service to pick up sometime this week when they will also clean the leaves out of the gutters on my house. Then I used my backpack blower to blow the leaves behind the garage into Dana’s Crystal Corner where I am leaving the leaves for the overwintering of pollinators that will hatch in the spring.

The Joy In Labor

I am the spirit of the full consciousness of Christ, the principle expressed by Jesus Christ. I greet you in the love that creates, sustains, renews and transforms all of creation.

We see that your minds are much bent upon the prosecution of worldly duties. We suggest to you that all employment is gainful if it be centered on the love of the Creator, expressed in any way whatsoever that seems most fitting to you.

However, there is no employment which is gainful if there is removed from the doer of such work the consciousness of the true motivation of all labor; that is, the glory, the worship, and the rejoicing in the presence and the power of the love of Christ which lies behind and is the motivation for all labor.

There is no less joy in working over columns of figures or recalcitrant earth than there is in studying the most exalted thoughts and sayings, if both tasks be done in equal consciousness of the end of all labor. Be you, therefore, mindful, as you work and as you rest from work, that all things adumbrate to the glory of the Creator, or the hollow echo of your weary soul shall fail to satisfy, whatever your labor.

Carla’s goals for this chapter: This chapter helps the reader gather her feet under her. I look at the person we are, how we work spiritually speaking and how to set the stage for using these resources to come later in the book. Before we begin working with techniques, first we look at ourselves as consciousness, dwelling in space and time. To work with that consciousness we move into the present moment as a tuned crystalline being.

Chapter One: Preparation

Ever since our astronauts first walked on the moon, the question of “The Big Silence” has become more and more profound. “The Big Silence” is the reference to the fact that, although after a very short technical history we have begun space travel, but no extraterrestrial has contacted us.

It has become somewhat scientifically unfashionable to assume that we are the only life in the universe or, if there are other civilizations, that we are the most advanced. Those who still stick to this archaic theory use “The Big Silence” as evidence that we must be the only intelligent life in the universe since, statistically, if there were any others there should be lots of others. If there are lots of others then, statistically speaking, we should have been contacted long ago.

So we build giant telescopes, both optical and radio, but still we fail to get the faintest whisper necessary to break “The Big Silence.”  From the Introduction to THE LAW OF ONE, ACCELERATING PERSONAL EVOLUTION: The Meaning and Purpose of Life, the Universe and Everything, an unfinished manuscript by Don Elkins, pg. 4.

My story, which begins with UFOs

Carla was nineteen years old in January of 1962 when she first met Don Elkins. At that time Don was a professor of physics at the University of Louisville and was conducting an experiment on his own time with a dozen of his Introduction to Physics students. He wanted to see if information he had gotten from a meditation group in Detroit could be reproduced with his students. That information was supposedly channeled from an extraterrestrial source which described itself as a group consciousness, or a planetary mind, named Hatonn. Hatonn suggested that if you wished to receive information about spiritual evolution that you could start a meditation group with that intention, and they would be glad to share such information with you.

Carla was the girlfriend of one of Don’s students, and her boyfriend introduced her to Don to ask if she might be allowed to join the group. Not only did Don agree to her joining the meditations, he had an intuition at the time—which he kept to himself until years later—that she and he would eventually be together doing research on UFOs and channeling extraterrestrial contacts. This first group was called the Louisville Group, and it lasted during a four-year marriage between Carla and her boyfriend. However, Carla, herself, did not do any channeling at this time, and it was only after her boyfriend asked her for a divorce that she and Don were able to get together in November of 1968.

Since Don was a pilot, he and Carla were able to rent small planes and fly to any location in the United States where a person had been in a face-to-face encounter with extraterrestrial entities or even had been abducted by them. Carla would record any conversations concerning such experiences, and in 1976, she and Don printed eight years’ worth of this data in Secrets of the UFO. Eventually Don accumulated nearly twenty-five years’ experience in UFO investigation, and Carla nearly fifteen years. In the following question and answer Don and Ra give an overview of the UFO phenomenon on Earth:

Questioner: I am interested in the application of the Law of One as it pertains to free will and what I would call the advertising done by UFO contact with the planet. That is, the Council has allowed the quarantine to be lifted many times over the past thirty years. This seems to me to be a form of advertising for what we are doing right now, so that more people will be awakened. Am I correct?

Ra: I am Ra. It will take a certain amount of untangling of conceptualization of your mental complex to reform your query into an appropriate response. Please bear with us.

The Council of Saturn has not allowed the breaking of quarantine in the time/space continuum you mentioned. There is a certain amount of landing taking place. Some of these landings are of your peoples. Some are of the entities known to you as the group of Orion.

Secondly, there is permission granted, not to break quarantine by dwelling among you, but to appear in thought-form capacity for those who have eyes to see.

Thirdly, you are correct in assuming that permission was granted at the time/space in which your first nuclear device was developed and used for Confederation members to minister unto your peoples in such a way as to cause mystery to occur. This is what you mean by advertising and is correct. The mystery and unknown quality of the occurrences we are allowed to offer have the hoped-for intention of making your peoples aware of infinite possibility. When your peoples grasp infinity, then and only then, can the gateway be opened to the Law of One. 7.12

This is the first day of the New Year of 2023 which means that this house, L/L Research, is now 100 years old. My neighbors tell me that it was a father and his two sons who built each of the four houses on this side of the street in the same basic Arts and Crafts style for families who were employed by the Union Pacific Railroad. They built them all at about the same time which suggests to me that they built them in stages by pouring four foundations one after the other, then putting in the flooring for all of them, and then the walls, ceilings, and roofs.

The Banquet of Life

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the conscious of divine love.

I greet you this day in merriment and laughter, joy and freedom. I invite you to the banquet of life. Gaze at the table spread before you: the delicious zest of challenges yet unmet; the wonderful nourishment of companions, friends and family; the spice of those whom you shall meet but not understand—those most contrary flavors that often make the meal and bless the feast—and, above all, the beauty of the banquet hall.

Gaze about you today in prayerful thanksgiving for the beauties that love has made.

You are a perfect and divine part of a perfect and divine creation. And that which you see before your eyes may be feast or famine. Ask of yourself that you choose what you shall see. And if you choose to see the riches of the creation of the Father, great riches indeed shall you see.

The Neurodrama

After getting all the necessary information about where our energy-blocking programs came from we would choose another student to play the role of whoever was responsible for sticking these blocking thoughts into our brains and minds. We wrote the script in the way that our subconscious mind—or sometimes a consciously remembered incident—described this event for us. This time we were not children going through this negative program experience. We did not accept the programming because now we knew that we had the right to stand up for ourselves and say “No” to spiritual death and “Yes” to spiritual life. We would shout, cry, and swear as our inner child needed to do to be heard without doubt. These intensely emotional behaviors were designed to close the brain’s open neuronal circuit and make a solid path into the frontal lobes. Q’uo had some advice on working with our inner child:

However, there are many times when the initial surface response that has been triggered is not your deeper truth, but rather an artifact left over from your childhood, or from earlier in your life when you did not feel supported, cherished or valued. It takes a surprisingly small amount of time to recognize such triggers and to turn to that inner child, or that younger version of yourself that was harmed and has suffered and express to it, with caresses and kisses and rocking in your arms, that you love and honor and respect that pain, and you are there to comfort and give the Balm of Gilead to that suffering. After being at the Adventure Trails Survival School for six weeks in the summer of 1972, on the morning of July 12, I was sleeping in my lean-to at 10,000 ft. in the Rocky Mountains, and once again I found myself in that pre-conscious state. All of the sudden I felt a “click” at my third eye, and it felt like a tremendous feeling of pressure and pleasure took over my brain and caused it to feel like it was circulating like a cyclotron. It felt like an orgasm in my brain, and for the next ten years I frequently had these frontal lobes experiences that were activating my indigo-ray chakra. These days I find that meditation tends to create a lesser version of these frontal lobes experiences. Ra had this to say about the frontal lobes of the brain:

61.13 Questioner: OK, then I will ask this one. Could you tell us the purpose of the frontal lobes of the brain and the conditions necessary for their activation?

Ra: I am Ra. The frontal lobes of the brain will, shall we say, have much more use in fourth density.

The primary mental/emotive condition of this large area of the so-called brain is joy or love in its creative sense. Thus, the energies which we have discussed in relationship to the pyramids — all of the healing, the learning, the building, and the energizing — are to be found in this area. This is the area tapped by the adept. This is the area which, working through the trunk and root of mind, makes contact with intelligent energy and through this gateway, intelligent infinity.

I should add that the Adventure Trails Survival School is no longer in existence as the fellow who ran it, T.D. Lingo, passed into larger life on May 13, 1993. I held a couple of his Brain In Nature Courses at my Rock Creek R & D Labs during the time I lived on my land because his advice to each of us who took his course of self-therapy was for “each one to teach one.” Then I met Don and Carla in 1979 and eventually joined them in their work which became the life work for each of us, the ultimate reason that we incarnated on Earth.

This morning I ran some errands with my first stop being at First Watch to have a brunch of Belgian waffles. Then I went to Feeder’s Supply to buy food for the kitties. Paul’s Fruit Market was next on the list where I bought food for myself. Then I stopped at Walgreen’s Drug Store to pick up a prescription for myself. My last stop was at the vet’s to pick up a medication for Boscoe.

This afternoon I cleaned the filters for the fish pond and pumped a little water out from recent rain so the fountain could attain its normal height. Just before I did my speed walk I stopped in to talk to my neighbors across the street as I had not spent any time with them lately.

The Tightrope Of The Present Moment

I am the spirit of infinite love and I greet you in the full consciousness of the love of Jesus the Christ.

What has the spirit to say to one who gazes upon the seeming end of one experience and the seeming beginning of a new experience?  The spirit of love says at all times—and we would emphasize it this day—that each day is the New Year. Each day is the end of what has been.

These divisions of dark and light, warmth and cold, joy and penitence have been formed by the human mind and heart in response to the unimaginable complexities of the cycles of the natural world which you enjoy.

Yet we speak with the voice of love. Let this day, then, be to you all that it truly is: the ending of that which is past, the release of that which has caused pain and the forgiveness of that which has caused displacement from love in yourself and in all whom you meet.

Let this day be a celebration of peace. For within you all that keeps you from peace is your hard heart condemning the past and fearing the future. Release those judgments. They have nothing to do with the Spirit and everything to do with those blockages that keep the seeking heart from the revelation of comfort and peace.

Know ye that outer peace shall never evolve until enough of your peoples find peace within. Balance, my children, upon the tightrope of the present moment in glad and fearless balance. For in this the Spirit is your guide and your balance. We ask you to trust, not in what has been, not in what shall be, but in the being of all that is. Bless it and celebrate it at the present moment.

Now may you in this day truly rejoice.

Journaling

The process of keeping a journal of these dreams was to begin to get more conscious knowledge of how and when and by whom we had been programmed in behaviors that kept our brain’s energy stuck in the neocortex and out of the frontal lobes. Each of these energy blocking programs created the equivalent of an open neuronal circuit that drained away our life energies that were attempting to get into the frontal lobes and activate our third eye. Q’uo had some helpful advice regarding using journaling in working with dreams:

In terms of the mechanics of working with dreams, we would encourage the habit of keeping a small flashlight of some kind, a pad of paper, and a writing instrument at hand before going to bed. If one does awaken during the night with the memory of a dream, one is able, without waking oneself up totally, to turn on this small and non-intrusive light that gives one the opportunity to write down one’s memories.

It is not necessary at the time of writing those memories down to work with them. It is enough simply to record the thoughts and then to turn off the flashlight, put down the paper and pen, and go back to sleep. It is, however, helpful at some point during the next waking period to go back over these hastily jotted notes, perhaps typing them into a more lasting record and journaling about them in any way that you find yourself wishing to do.

It is perfectly acceptable to use the rational, intellectual mind with its analytical capabilities. It is equally acceptable, and to be encouraged, to help the mind to run off of the logical tracks on which it so often stays due to old habit, and to invite the quirky combinations of thoughts and the insights that come at one from sideways when one allows what this instrument calls the “mind sagging in the middle,” so that points that seemingly are far distant from each other are suddenly brought close and new connections are made. We speak specifically of that seeming dichotomy between the so-called left brain and right brain. Q’uo, September 4, 2005.

Once we felt we understood what the program was, when it occurred, and who the adult was that instigated it, then the final step in this self-therapy course was called a neuro drama because it dealt with closing the neuronal circuit into the frontal lobes and letting our brain bomb explode into ecstacy.

This morning I called AT & T to see why the technician didn’t show up yesterday to fix the problem with my upgrade wiring that was buried underground last week but was not run into the house as it should have been. Another appointment was set for January 19, and, hopefully, this one will be kept. Then I had brunch at The Waffle House and then continued on to Gary and Trish’s house to take care of their cats while they are visiting family in northern Ohio. I cleaned their litter boxes, gave them fresh water, and gave them more food as well.

Drop the Rags Of Everyday

I am of the spirit of that principle of love which was in Jesus the Christ. I greet you in that full consciousness of divine love.

How this instrument wrestles with its seeming imperfections! How reluctant is this instrument to bathe in the clean waters of forgiveness and move, then, cleanly and clad in white, into the sanctuary of the Spirit’s meeting with self, body and spirit.

How many words it takes to deny the clear and shining perfection, the result of one moment of dreaming, to the cleansing, the whitening, the purification of the channel which is your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual self!

Shall you now let go of woe?

For this instant, see yourself a you are seen by the Christ-light, as a holy, perfect and acceptable infinite portion of an infinite creation that is, nevertheless, all one being.

We say to you in meditation, “Drop the rages of everyday. Dip in the pool of returning. Clad yourselves in robes of sufficiency and perfect love, and then, my children, wait. For that which comes to you may come in an instant, in an hour, or in a lifetime.”

Move yourself to the clean body, the cleanly desire and the focused love of the Creator with child and of child with most beloved parent. These things you do, you do for yourself. Each turn to holiness you do as a celebration of love.

We leave you in the peace which lies beneath the struggle to see the sun. In sure knowledge that this peace shall come upon you as you turn to the light of Christ, we leave you in the light of that peace, now and ever. Amen.

Dreaming

I attended the Adventure Trails Survival School in the summers of 1972 and 1973, 40 miles west of Denver in the Rocky Mountains. It was there that I learned how to use my dreams to get messages from my subconscious mind that were helpful in pursuing my spiritual journey. The first part of using dreams to get these messages was to let my subconscious mind know that I was serious about wanting to grow spiritually. I did this by keeping a pad, pencil, and flashlight next to my bed and setting my intention every night to wake up after each dream and then write it down. I soon learned to put a sock over the flashlight to keep the bright light from waking me up completely while still giving me enough light to see what I was writing. Keeping up this pattern before going to bed each night was my way of letting my subconscious mind know that I was serious about using any message it would give me to grow spiritually. In terms of the mechanics of working with dreams, we would encourage the habit of keeping a small flashlight of some kind, a pad of paper, and a writing instrument at hand before going to bed. If one does awaken during the night with the memory of a dream, one is able, without waking oneself up totally, to turn on this small and non-intrusive light that gives one the opportunity to write down one’s memories. Qu’s shared the overview in how to work with dreams:

It is not necessary at the time of writing those memories down to work with them. It is enough simply to record the thoughts and then to turn off the flashlight, put down the paper and pen, and go back to sleep. It is, however, helpful at some point during the next waking period to go back over these hastily jotted notes, perhaps typing them into a more lasting record and journaling about them in any way that you find yourself wishing to do.

It is perfectly acceptable to use the rational, intellectual mind with its analytical capabilities. It is equally acceptable, and to be encouraged, to help the mind to run off of the logical tracks on which it so often stays due to old habit, and to invite the quirky combinations of thoughts and the insights that come at one from sideways when one allows what this instrument calls the “mind sagging in the middle,” so that points that seemingly are far distant from each other are suddenly brought close and new connections are made. We speak specifically of that seeming dichotomy between the so-called left brain and right brain.

Allow the dreaming process to create opportunities for you to link those two ways of thinking as you contemplate your dreams with insight as well as logic. Encourage your mind to become more and more integrated with itself and able to move with more and more facility between that logic of space/time and that insight of metaphysical space or time/space. You are a dweller in two worlds and the dreaming process helps you to investigate that second world, which is not easily available to be seen in the haunts of humankind. Q’uo, September 4, 2005

The first thing that happened was what the Director of the Survival School called the “junking out process.” The subconscious mind gets rid of a lot of nonsense images and thoughts to see if you really are serious about receiving more communications that might be helpful. The theory behind using dreams for spiritual growth, was that all of us have been programmed in negative behaviors before the age of seven by our parents, teachers, friends, neighbors, etc.  Programming, for example, that sex is bad or dirty, that we don’t have the right to stand up for ourselves and be who we are; that we were destined to be caught in the rat race of life just like our parents, that we aren’t good enough or smart enough, etc. Each of us has three or four such blockages of our brain’s energy that kept our brains from performing their natural function. It is our brain’s natural function to circuit our consciousness into our frontal lobes, or the indigo-ray chakra where we can activate the indigo ray and release intelligent energy through some form of an enlightenment experience. Q’uo was able to reaffirm this possibility:

The nature of the brain is such that when changes occur the programming of the biocomputer brain must be altered. This is a painful process. The old programs are, somewhat painfully perhaps, removed, and the energy created by that removal is used to form a new personal understanding or truth, and this crystallization of the self, the understanding of the self, its relation to the creation and the Creator, it moves, but it is difficult.

So we warn each seeker that the path is not a comfortable, joy-filled picnic at all times. There are the oasis times, there are the desert times. In terms of the dynamic of human personality it is necessary that these two basic states of consciousness follow each other seriatim, for there are truths to learn from mountaintop experiences, and there are the same sacred truths to learn when deep in the valley of mundane ordinariness. After we were able to record enough dreams to see the patterns of these negative programs emerge, the next phase of this brain self control therapy was journaling.

This afternoon my new computer was delivered to my house, and Austin came over shortly thereafter to install as many of the files that I would need to be able to resume writing and posting my Camelot Journal entries. I am most grateful for his help as it was quite an unusual situation not to have a computer for five days and be unable to answer any emails search the internet for one thing or another.

Blessings

We of the principle of love are with you and we greet you in the name of love: love unconditional; love divine; love infinite

It is sometimes difficult in the daily round to perceive the glory of the creation. Take time this day to touch in mind and heart the beauties of scenery, character, grace and wit which refresh the weary soul.

Indeed, there are naught but blessings for the faithful. And all those things which seem difficult are blessings, much as the life experience itself, though difficult, is indeed a time of blessing, learning and achieving for the spirit within.

Let not those things which are below lose the reflection of that which is divine. For all things are instinct with the divine life of unconditional and perfect love.

Non-planetary guides and guardians

Ra said that each of us has three guides. One of a male nature; one of a female nature; and one of an androgynous nature which provides a more unified perception to offer us. The Confederation has said that these guides are a part of our deeper self and offer us different kinds of information and inspiration in order to help us make our way through this third-density illusion. That is a blessing because this illusion is so difficult to navigate smoothly because of our being on this side of the veil of forgetting. Here Q’uo gives us an overview of the concept of guides:

Grace, then, is seen by your peoples as a visitation that occurs from time to time. It is seen in various cultures as coming from various outside agencies—angels that come into the life pattern as messengers of grace, personal guides, entities such as we, many, many different ways of thinking about the experience of coming into a state of balance and harmony with the outworking of personal destiny. And this is as it should be, for within each culture there are somewhat different ways of perceiving the same states of mind, but we would ask you to consider the vagaries of language, the limited nature of words, and the deeply illusory environment in which third density finds itself living, for this is a concept that, more than most, asks the entity to open up the mind and to empty it of concept. Q’uo, December 17, 1995.

Our female guide will most often serve to comfort us when we are lost in worry and confusion. Our male guide will, on the other hand, give us more wisdom-oriented communication designed to get us off our rear ends and into motion. And our androgynous guide will share those concepts more balanced in the unity of love and wisdom together. Each of these guides can communicate to us in whatever way we are most prepared to hear, whether that be by intuition, dreams, visions, or words within our minds.

In my life I am sure of only one time that I was definitely contacted by one of my guides. But it is possible that I have received some of the other above-mentioned communications as well and was just not aware of the source of the communication. It was 1974, and I was camping on the land that I had just bought in the woods of central Kentucky. I was preparing to cut logs that I would use to build my log cabin. It was very early morning, and I was sleeping in my sleeping bag and had been slightly awakened by a noise outside of my tent. In that pre-conscious, or alpha state, I heard the words in my mind: “The key to your survival comes indirect, through nervousness.” And the name, Angelica, was given. I said, “What?”, and the message and name were given again.

When I asked Ra the meaning of the message they said that they could only give a portion of the meaning so as not to infringe on my free will. What they did say was that in order for progress to be made that there would need to be a state of dissatisfaction or angst within the mind to stimulate further seeking. They concluded by saying that this dissatisfaction or angst was not useful by itself, thus the use was indirect. I was definitely worried about whether or not I could accomplish this great task that was before me: cut logs, build a log cabin, grow my own food, pursue my spiritual journey, and, basically, do it all by myself.

So, I was inspired by Angelica’s comforting words that suggested that even though I was using my worries to compel my actions, that this would work, even though there might be a better or more direct way to proceed. I believe that more effective way would have been to have the faith that just as my journey before I moved to the land had been accomplished well, that this great amount of work that I was worried about accomplishing would be taken care of one day at a time. Every day would be a piece of the overall puzzle that turned out to last for six and one-half years until I met Don and Carla and began another successful journey.

Let Jesus’ Heart Be Yours

I am of the principle of love and I greet you in the consciousness of Jesus the Christ.

All praise and glory be to the Lord of creation! Imagine the immensity of the galaxies, the infinity of the reaches of orderly, free-wheeling space and see in this immensity the great glory of the Holy One.

Know that you are part of that glory, for you, too, are a creation of the holy Father and a child of the Creator of all things.

Let Jesus’ heart be yours, then, and let the glory of the Father come upon you like the fire of the spirit of Jesus; move along your limbs like fire; move along your lips like fire, that you may utter those things which may be of service and that you may reach your hands in that same service, therefore adding to that great glory which daily grows, the glory of God in Christ.

May you be today a servant of love itself. And may love change the face of the earth.

Nature spirits

In all countries and cultures on our planet there is the recognition of the presence and purpose of the great variety of nature spirits. Each type of nature spirit has a specific area of the environment which it is responsible for. Trees, flowers, stones, water, mountains, grasses, plains, air, and various subdivisions of these natural elements are all infused with the loving care of individual nature spirits. Quo had this to say about nature spirits:

Carla: Could you talk to me about devas, nature spirits?

I am Q’uo, and am aware of your query, my sister. This, as you know, is quite a large field of inquiry, and we would not be able to do it justice if we were to attempt in such a short gathering as this to speak extensively. But we may suggest that the entities which you describe as the nature spirits, devas, are those which inhabit your plant and animal kingdom as thickly as your plants and animals themselves, for there are many such spirits which work in conjunction with the natural world about you and serve as a kind of caretaker and communicator between the various forms of second density life and the third-density creatures such as your population of entities upon the surface of your planet at this time.

There are beings in each realm of existence which are responsible for enhancing, shall we say, the communion of the plants and the animals with each other and with the Earth itself. They are such as you would see guides and teachers of your inner planes in their function and relationship to third-density creatures. They inform the various plant and animal life-forms according to these life-forms’ desire to gain a self-conscious awareness which is the hallmark of your third-density population, for all of life moves toward the light and love of the one Creator, and all of life has those helpers or guides which assist in this movement, the assistance being necessary for those who are less aware of that towards which they move, and which, by their desire to move in that direction, call for the assistance of those who answer. In the case of the plant and animal life-forms, those who answer in many cases are those who you would call the nature spirits and the devas. Q’uo, August 2, 1988.

When we engage in any kind of gardening or maintaining of the natural environment around our homes we are interacting with the nature spirits associated with our work. If we want our work to shine with the love of the Creator we do well to set up some kind of a communication and relationship with our local nature spirits. Ra confirmed this idea in 95.11:

Questioner: I am assuming that the newly chosen place meets parameters for best contact on the exterior of the house and would ask Ra at this time if there is any suggestions with respect to the exterior of the house?

Ra: I am Ra. The dwelling seems surrounded with the trees and fields of your countryside. This is acceptable. We suggest the general principle of preparing each part of your environment as it best suits each in the group with the beauty which each may feel to be appropriate. There is much of blessing in the gardening and the care of surroundings, for when this is accomplished in love of the creation the second-density flowers, plants, and small animals are aware of this service and return it.

As I am an early riser my first trip outside every day is to get the newspaper. It is always dark when I make this trip, so I find this feels like an appropriate time to thank the nature spirits on my property for their shining the love and light of the Creator to me as they perform their sacred tasks of enlivening the flowers, rocks, animals, trees, and water on my property. I also seek to shine the love and the light of the Creator back to these spirits as I feel they shine it to me. It could be my imagination, but I think that this relationship that I have with these nature spirits is the most important reason that the various flowers, bushes, trees, rocks, and soil on my property seem to flourish and contain a certain kind of magic that I feel most in the twilight hours. It seems to me that when I cannot see the precise outlines of the construction of my gardens I am more able to feel the liveness or the magic of their natures.

Christ’s Divine Care

I am the spirit of the full consciousness of love. I greet you in the divine love of Jesus the Christ.

It is considered desirable by you to retain your spiritual point of view as you go through the experiences of your daily rounds of activity. And, indeed, we have always encouraged this attempt.

It may perhaps be seen that the reciprocal needs also the attention. That is, it is well to bring the seemingly mundane, everyday experiences of daily life into the holy atmosphere of divine meeting and contemplation.

For if life can be lifted up by thought, then its means of lifting comes not only from the higher idea to the lower manifestation but from manifestation gazing back upon that which is unmanifest and perfect.

In this way, those things which do not feel blessed may be brought into the circle of Christ’s divine care. And raveled and frayed though things may be, yet still all is comforted within that divine purview of love.

May we offer and leave you in the peace and the joy of the love of Jesus Christ, now and ever. Amen.

Angels

Ra said that angelic presences have much the same role as our higher selves in that they may help to program the life lessons for entities that are incarnating automatically. During the harvest of souls from Earth the angelic presences help the entities just leaving their incarnational bodies to walk into the light so that it might gauge their violet-ray chakras and determine their harvestability as Ra mentioned in 51.1:

Questioner: The first is just clearing up final points about harvest for our friend [name]. And I was wondering if there is a supervision over the harvest and if so, why this supervision is necessary and how it works since an entity’s harvestability is the violet ray? Is it necessary for entities to supervise the harvest, or is it automatic? Could you answer this, please?

Ra: I am Ra. In time of harvest there are always harvesters. The fruit is formed as it will be, but there is some supervision necessary to ensure that this bounty is placed as it should be without the bruise or the blemish.

There are those of three levels watching over harvest.

The first level is planetary and that which may be called angelic. This type of guardian includes the mind/body/spirit complex totality or higher self of an entity and those inner plane entities which have been attracted to this entity through its inner seeking.

Ra also said that angelic presences might be invoked by the purity of our seeking to be of service throughout our third-density life experiences. When so invoked these angels may become a part of the place of residence in which we live. When Don, Carla and I moved into this house in April of 1984, Ra said that angelic presences had been invoked before we even moved here:

Questioner: How about the metaphysical quality of the house? Could Ra appraise that please?

Ra: I am Ra. This location is greatly distorted. We find an acceptable description of this location’s quality to elude us without recourse to hackneyed words. Forgive our limitations of expression. The domicile and its rear aspect, especially, is blessèd and angelic presences have been invoked for some of your time past. 106.7

Carla, herself, was so imbued with the unconditional love of her open heart that she attracted many such angels. When someone she was in contact with expressed the need for guidance, healing, or inspiration Carla would send them one of her angels. Latwii had this to say about the concept of angels:

It depends upon your state of belief as to whether angels can physically aid you. If you believe in their reality, they can do almost anything, for grace is given unto those who believe. And the angels are the ministers of that grace. They are people such as you, who had learned through many lifetimes to glorify and praise the Creator. Thus, having learned, the angel can pass on the power and the invocation of light. There is nothing more powerful than the light of the spirit. Thus, if you pray and hear the rustle of angels’ wings, so be it. You have made contact with a part of your personality that links you with the perfection of the Creator.

It is, however, incumbent upon the angel to know the limits of the laws of Creation and the will of the Father. Thus, the angels’ laws are not those of your illusion but those of reality, and so it may seem at times that your requests are not being met. And if this is so, it is because it is not the will of your higher self which shares the perfection of the Creator. For remember that you yourself are the co-creator with the Creator and thus a perfect being, who in some part of yourself knows what you must learn, and how you must learn it in this particular experience. Those who make complete use of their meditation, their prayer, and their faith lead the life of harmony that you would expect of one who lives with the knowledge of the love and the plan of the Creator. The angels are simply messengers of his love, as are we. Latwii, November 3, 1979.

This is Christmas day and this morning I discovered that my computer’s problem of not being able to stay plugged in and continue to charge its battery has worsened to the point that there is no way I can plug the power cord into the computer that will maintain its charge. So I have a limited amount of power to use until either I can get Austin to fix my present power cord or, more likely, buy a new computer. So I am going to use the charge that is left to write and post the next three or four days’ worth of Camelot Journal entries and, hopefully, a new computer will arrive by that time and Austin can transfer all of the information on this computer to the new one.

The Folly Of Christmas

I am of the principle of the consciousness of love that is in Christ Jesus and I greet you in the full consciousness of our common divinity.

You have experienced the ritual bringing forth, into the world of sense and shadow, the unchangeable light which the darkness cannot quench. And to many who feel saddened this day, we say that it is acceptable to rejoice when the time is at hand and the ceremony of deity and man is celebrated.

But my children, know you this: faced with your humanhood and your clear perception of deity, it is a natural tendency for the spirit within you to be impatient that all days might be those birthdays wherein the spirit is born anew in every conscious being.

Beware of the folly of Christmas and rest your joy not only upon an occasion but upon a continuing and sometimes difficult to fathom stream of events and occasions within which the full spirit and caring of Jesus the Christ shines through. Be you those channels who do not need the occasion to rally themselves to the love of Jesus the Christ.

Higher Self

Our higher self is located at the level of the mid-sixth density, and from this position it has what you might call road map of all potential lessons that we may learn and experiences that we may have through the sixth density as Ra described in 36.6-.7:

Questioner: Then the higher self operates from the future as we understand things. In other words my higher self would operate from what I consider to be my future? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. From the standpoint of your space/time, this is correct.

Questioner: In that case my higher self would, shall we say, have a very large advantage in knowing precisely what was needed since it would know what… as far as I am concerned, what was going to happen. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect, in that this would be an abrogation of free will. The higher self aspect is aware of the lessons learned through the sixth density. The progress rate is fairly well understood. The choices which must be made to achieve the higher self as it is are in the provenance of the mind/body/spirit complex itself.

Thus the higher self is like the map in which the destination is known; the roads are very well known, these roads being designed by intelligent infinity working through intelligent energy. However, the higher self aspect can program only for the lessons and certain predisposing limitations if it wishes. The remainder is completely the free choice of each entity. There is the perfect balance between the known and the unknown.

Our higher self also helps us heal any distortions as we review our just completed incarnations. Along with other guides and helpers, our higher self programs our lessons for each incarnation until we become consciously aware of the process of evolution, and then we program all future lessons for our third-density incarnation as Ra said in 71.6:

Questioner: As an entity goes through the death process in third density and finds itself in time/space, it finds itself in a different set of circumstances. Would you please describe the properties or circumstances of time/space and then the process of healing of incarnative experiences that some entities encounter?

Ra: I am Ra. Although this query is difficult to answer adequately due to the limitations of your space/time sound vibration complexes, we shall respond to the best of our ability.

The hallmark of time/space is the inequity between time and space. In your space/time the spatial orientation of material causes a tangible framework for illusion. In time/space the inequity is upon the shoulders of that property known to you as time. This property renders entities and experiences intangible in a relative sense. In your framework each particle or core vibration moves at a velocity which approaches what you call the speed of light from the direction of supraluminal velocities.

Thus the time/space or metaphysical experience is that which is very finely tuned and, although an analog of space/time, lacking in its tangible characteristics. In these metaphysical planes there is a great deal of what you call time which is used to review and re-review the biases and learn/teachings of a prior, as you would call it, space/time incarnation.

The extreme fluidity of these regions makes it possible for much to be penetrated which must needs be absorbed before the process of healing of an entity may be accomplished. Each entity is located in a somewhat immobile state much as you are located in space/time in a somewhat immobile state in time. In this immobile space the entity has been placed by the form-maker and higher self so that it may be in the proper configuration for learn/teaching that which it has received in the space/time incarnation.

Depending upon this time/space locus there will be certain helpers which assist in this healing process. The process involves seeing in full the experience, seeing it against the backdrop of the mind/body/spirit complex total experience, forgiving the self for all missteps as regards the missed guideposts during the incarnation and, finally, the careful assessment of the next necessities for learning. This is done entirely by the higher self until an entity has become conscious in space/time of the process and means of spiritual evolution at which time the entity will consciously take part in all decisions.

Our higher self also provides guidance for us when we ask it to do so, and this guidance may come in the form synchronicities, the right person or book at the right time in our lives, messages in our dreams or meditations, and intuitive hunches for life directions that seem to come out of the blue. In 70.11, Ra gave general information regarding our Higher Self’s ability to provide us guidance:

The Higher Self does not manipulate its past selves. It protects when possible and guides when asked, but the force of free will is paramount. The seeming contradictions of determinism and free will melt when it is accepted that there is such a thing as true simultaneity. The Higher Self is the end result of all the development experienced by the mind/body/spirit complex to that point.

If we should ever become practitioners of white ceremonial magic, the higher self takes on another role as that of the magical personality which helps us to provide cleansing and protection for a place of working, and it helps us to develop the ability to create changes in our consciousness at will. In 75.36, Ra is talking about how the Higher Self could be seen as the magical personality when we performed the Banishing Ritual of the Lesser Pentagram:

When the magical personality is properly and efficaciously invoked the self has invoked its Higher Self. Thus a bridge betwixt space/time and time/space is made and the sixth-density magical personality experiences directly the third-density catalyst for the duration of the working. It is most central to deliberately take off the magical personality after the working in order that the Higher Self resume its appropriate configuration as analog to the space/time mind/body/spirit.

This morning the temperatures rose into the mid-teens, so I drove down to Walgreen’s and picked up some non-food supplies and was glad that the roads were passable though still packed with snow and ice. In the afternoon I put on my long johns underwear and my big winter coat and took a speed walk for the first time in two days. It felt good to get outside again. The forecast is for temperatures to continue to rise until we are above freezing by next Tuesday.

The Manger Within

I am of the principle of divine love and I greet you in the full consciousness of that love.

We find this instrument’s mind revolving not about things of the spirit but about the processes the day shall bring, each item more wonderful and precious than the next, for this day is the eve of the mass of the Christ child, the mass welcoming the new child to birth, the new soul to its walk in the valley of death from which death alone may free him or any which dwell in this body of dust and clay.

May you truly rejoice to know that within yourselves lies a manger. Most of your mangers are poor. Most of them are humble. Most of you have not prepared a way and so must improvise when the Son of Man comes, when the gates of your heart are opened.

This is a time of coming into being. This is a time for you to make anew the welcome of the self towards that tiny, delicate, precious, new spiritual being which shall indwell each spiritual womb.

May you find the peace of Jesus’ mother and know that your spirit follows not the commands of the world but the commands of that consciousness in which He and all of your spirits partake.

May you wend you way in peace and the hope of glory within, now and ever. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 103 quote comes from the Introduction and the section on the Holy Spirit:

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is also an inspiring helper that can aid us in our spiritual journey of learning our pre-incarnative lessons and of being of service to others. Carla had a special relationship to the Holy Spirit from an early age. Her name for the Holy Spirit was Holly, and she was able to channel over 480 short messages from the Holy Spirit. We selected the best 366 channelings from the Holy Spirit and published them in 2007 as A Book of Days: Channelings From The Holy Spirit. This is what Carla had to say about these channelings in the Introduction to A Book of Days:

Come, Holy Spirit! Fill the hearts of your faithful, and kindle in us the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit and we shall be created, and You shall renew the face of the earth! O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may ever be wise and enjoy Its consolation. Amen.

This prayer, which I learned at an Episcopal Cursillo weekend in 1983, inspires me still, every time I offer it. It helps me to remember that we do not have to depend entirely upon ourselves and our “street smarts” to live a life of faith, hope and peace. We can turn, each and every day, to the Holy Spirit and ask for Its guidance and consolation. And we can watch our lives become ever more meaningful and beautiful as the Holy Spirit enkindles our hearts and firms our intentions.

We all live in two worlds at once. The outside world is noisy and restless. We hear the engines on the road, the voices on the telephone and at the door, and the din of our own unsettled thoughts. And although I do see the beauty and the blessing of that outer life, I constantly yearn for my Redeemer and Its voice. I cannot rest until I rest in the Lord.

Daily, in utmost thankfulness, I turn to the inner world, and here I hear no sound except that “still small voice” which radically and daily transforms my life, tosses me into my service and learning moment by moment and serenely guides me through every circumstance I encounter.

In offering to you these daily thoughts which I have collected, I offer you some of the fruits of my inner life. I make no claims for them whatsoever. I do not claim that this material is from the one and only Holy Spirit and therefore must be believed by all. I do not claim that this material is sacred or divinely inspired. I wish only to share these thoughts with those who may find them comforting and enlivening in their own lives.

A word about the format of these readings. The opening and closing greetings are artefacts of my channeling process. When I converse with the Holy Spirit, as I do sometimes using pencil and paper and writing down my questions, the responses are offered to me with less formality.

The readings as you see them begin after I have finished the challenging process and have accepted the contact with the Holy Spirit, who opens by greeting me. Because the channeling is being offered aloud, there is also a closing greeting when the reading is done.

These channelings are the most inspirational information that I have ever read, and I believe that simply reading one each day as a part of your spiritual practice can be most helpful, especially if you also take the time to consider each concept that is shared in the day’s message. I have found over the years that often the message from the Holy Spirit is synchronistically in tune with thoughts and experiences I have had that day, and I always include each day’s message from the Holy Spirit in my Camelot Journal entries. When Q’uo was asked about the Holy Spirit, this is what they had to say:

The Holy Spirit is not a comfortable comforter. It can create in the seeking soul a divine discomfort. It can help to sharpen and hone your particular vision of what it is to be yourself, what it is to be a part of the one infinite Creator, and what it is to face the world and look at that world, not for solace or for riches but for the opportunity to serve the light.

The one known as R was asking if the Holy Spirit could be considered an inner-planes or an outer-planes entity. We may say to the one known as R that you may consider this energy source to be both. In its function as guidance it is inner-planes. The calling is within the inner planes of your planet and in the inner bodies of your self. The connection is from the unseen realms directly into the heart, coming through the crown chakra, the gateway to intelligent infinity, down through indigo and blue, to rest in the heart itself.

When you have prayed to the Holy Spirit for a long period of time, you have created the connection that is instantaneous and strongly comforting, a never-failing source of wisdom, compassion and good advice.

The outer-planes portion of the Holy Spirit is that portion that has nothing to do with planet Earth or with your perceived notions of who you are or what the Creator is, for the Creator Itself is transcendent to Its creation. It is not an actor caught within the play of creation. It is uncreated, inorganic, infinite and eternal. Q’uo, March 19, 2006.

Today I stayed inside and worked on keeping warm as the temperature to begin the day was -3 degrees. I put a space heater in my bedroom and spent most of my time there as I have a heat vent in my bedroom and also another heat vent in the bathroom that is connected by a door to my bedroom. I decided not to take a speed walk today because of the frigid temperature, but I was able to do a load of laundry and vacuum the first floor of the house.

To Smile Or To Frown

I am of the principle of divine love. I greet you in the consciousness of Jesus the Christ.

What have we to say about the world as you gaze at it this day? Perhaps today we would wish you to see that which is behind the daily matters which shall parade this day before your eyes.

Many things shall occur within this day and you shall have many opportunities to smile or to frown; to speak the kind word or the harsh one; to react impulsively or to take it easy and gaze at a situation long enough to gauge its total nature.

Perhaps, this day of all rushing Christmas days, we would suggest to each to take the time to slow down and to consider, in all the hustle and bustle, in all the choices that are made, that the great choice is always for merriment and for the expressions of love and sharing. All other considerations of preparation and business have not the priority of offering and manifesting the love of Christ in God.

May you stop and sense that abiding, deep, magical and peaceful presence. And in each choice that you make this day, may that feeling of peace empower and strengthen your ability to choose well your manifestation to the outer world.

You are children of the Most High. May you experience your birthright this day.
