I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. The quote from 102 today comes from Chapter Five and the section on the team:

The “Team”—finding synergy with people at work

If a team entails people working together to reach a common goal, it would seem that most people who would be part of a team would have the opportunity to be of service to others by the very nature of their interaction with others on the team. I think that this would be particularly true in the work place as the goal of such work would be to produce some product or service that could be sold and provide each person on the team a means of financial support. It would also be most helpful if the product or service that was provided by the team was such as to truly be helpful to those who would purchase it.

The various members of the team in the workplace would ideally each have specific functions to perform in order for the team to be most effective in reaching its goals. This kind of teamwork would require that each member be capable of performing its particular part of the work in a way acceptable to the team. Each member would also need to be able to clearly communicate with other members of the team as a kind of grease to the wheels of smooth functioning.

Sports teams would have a similar function, as the goal would be to exercise power over other teams so that the victory would belong to only one team. That is the nature of both businesses and team sports, and people in both areas of activity could also use their status within their careers to work in service-to-others ways within the larger community such as supporting various charitable organizations, help with disaster relief, becoming advocates for the homeless, and supporting programs like promoting foster parenting. Ra spoke of the more restricted kind of sports team effort as often utilizing the orange-ray chakras:

Others of your gadgets may be seen to be tools whereby the entity explores the capabilities of its physical or mental complexes and, in some few cases, the spiritual complex, thus activating the orange ray in what you call your team sports and in other gadgets such as your modes of transport. These may be seen to be ways of investigating the feelings of power; more especially, power over others or a group power over another group of other-selves.” Ra, 34.12

Any time we engage in team sports we are, as Ra said, investigating the feelings of power because the objective of any sport is to win the game. I would say that most of the time the exercise of this power over another team is done in the spirit of friendly competition without any negative thoughts of creating injury or any type of negative polarity. Of course it is possible that certain team members may take a different stance as we all are unique beings with our own expressions purpose and power in our life patterns.

The same situation would apply to those fans who back their teams by attending their games and cheering for them. The term “fan” is short for “fanatic”, so I can easily imagine as a fan it could become possible to harbor less-than-loving thoughts for the other team and their fans. All of these exercises of power over others in team sports are explorations of the nature of how to relate to others in the overall picture of our life patterns. The more mature souls would find it possible to love their opponents as another version of themselves and be gracious in victory and in defeat on the sports field and within the life pattern. That is the journey of the player that becomes the Player on the field of life.

This morning my Physical Therapist came by for his last visit and gave me more exercises that I can do to strengthen my hip area and the muscles around it. He recommended doing these exercises for another week and then tapering off the frequency as my hip gets stronger and more flexible. Then Liz and I drove to the airport to pick up Glaeshia, another friend of 50 years, and enjoyed the ride back to the house as we talked about how things were going for each of us.

The Birds Of Night And Day

I am of the principle of love, that full consciousness of divine love which is Jesus the Christ. I greet you in blessings and in peace.

Like a quiet bird the morning flies before you, pulling in its flashing feathers a veil of heaven and earth and all the many colored illusions of your day.

And all too soon the great night hawk will fly and in its dark feathers shall be carried the veil of darkness, nighttime and slumber. So does the illusion shift before your eyes, first light and then dark, all seemingly unattached to your consciousness, to your attention and to your caring.

Yet know that you are both birds: that which brings the day and that which brings the night. Within you lies the power of each. Choose, then, that which you prefer: radiance and light or darkness and the blank O of nothingness.

Choose the environment for your consciousness and abide in peace and love, now and ever. Amen.

I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:

We come in the name of Love and open our hearts, our minds, and our souls to send love, light, and healing energies to Mother Earth as she brings forth a New Earth in fourth density. We ask that the infinite love, light, and healing energies of the One Infinite Creator heal the heart of each soul in pain on Earth tonight. May all souls on Earth feel our love, light, and healing energies in their hearts, in their minds, and in their souls. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Five and the section on artists and craftspeople:

 Artists and craftspeople

Marcy Pederson gave this working definition of artists and craftspeople:

Craft is always exercised upon something and aims at transformation of this into that. The craftsman understands what he wants to make. The craftsman’s skill is his knowledge of the means that are used to transform something and his mastery of those means. A fabricator understands what machines and tools are needed to transform metal into a desired shape. A seamstress is a master of a sewing machine. We typically think of trades like blacksmith when we think of craftsman. They are defined by the means they use.

The artist uses technique and has a form of skill like the craftsman. Skill does not make an artist, but a technician. With skill a technician can become an artist. An artist can also lack skill and technique and still create works of art. It makes me think of Van Gogh and all the criticism he received about his technique on his artistic journey, yet we do not doubt he created works of art. Artists need some degree of skill and some might say the better the technique the better the work of art, but what truly makes them stand out is the fact that they create with no concrete end in mind.

An artist is prompted to express something and they do not know what the result will be until it has been expressed. Their skill will help them fine tune their expression, but their act is focused on sheer expression undertaken by a prompting. The artist does not have a specific end in mind. They are not creating for a single purpose. They don’t know what is going to happen until it happens.

So, the major difference between an artist and a craftsman seems to be that the artist creates a unique work each time that they feel the inspiration to create. A craftsperson will more likely repeat a previous standardized creation when they feel the desire to practice their trade. Either the artist or the craftsperson can be totally service to others in their work as their positive intentions may shine through their creations, which may also be functional or beautiful. The artist and the craftsperson each fulfill needs of the public in general, and each can be highly polarized in service to others depending upon their own personal spiritual journeys and how they view the universe around them.

And now, from a purely spiritual point of view, Q’uo gave us more of an overview of what it means to engage in artistic productions:

We speak, as we believe you intended us to speak, strictly of those artists who must express that which is within them and who are irresistibly drawn to perform and to share their gifts. Whether or not such entities would think of offering their gifts in a spiritual sense, it is, indeed, a spiritual exercise by its very definition. For in order to make contact with the creative impulse, the entity must move into the open heart or green-ray chakra and thereby move upwards into the ray of communication, the blue ray, and the ray of faith, indigo ray, and thenceforth to move into the violet ray and the gateway to intelligent infinity.

An artist is moving his attention into a place where he is able to draw from beyond that gateway the inspiration and information needed in order to be able to express the visions that he has seen and the perceptions he has garnered in his own way. He is as the treasure hunter who finds treasure and then must share it. Q’uo, April 26, 2008

In this quote Q’uo uses the term “creative impulse” that exists within all true artists. This creative impulse is accessed, according to Q’uo, not so much through a conscious desire or choice but through that which is “irresistible” within one who has the creative impulse. It may not be a totally consciously chosen process but one which engages the green-ray open heart, the blue ray of communication and inspiration, the indigo-ray of faith and then to the contact with intelligent infinity which is the Creator moving through the creative process to produce whatever kind of artistic endeavor is native to the artist.

In this kind of spiritual process the artist is actually making a conscious or subconscious contact with the Creator within and then produces the fruits of that contact in one form or another, depending upon the type of art being produced: sculpture, paintings, poetry, prose, dance, music, or any creative combination of such artistic endeavors.

This afternoon Liz took me to Paul’s Fruit Market to buy a few food items that I was running low on. This was my first shopping adventure since my hip replacement surgery, and it is part of my road to recovery of normal life. Later in the afternoon Gary, Austin, and I were on a zoom meet with Jason Liggett who is a producer for Gaia TV. Jason is doing a docuseries on channeling, and he would like to have some photographs of the Ra contact for this series. We enjoyed his enthusiasm for this project and his desire to share some of the messages of the Ra contact as well as images.

The Manna Of Joy And Peace

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of the love of Jesus the Christ.

Behold, the day has been made new! Yesterday’s dew has long since passed, and the manna of dew has come once again for this special day.

Do not be fooled by the seeming imperfection of your thoughts nor the seeming inadequacy of your actions. Stay in this moment, in that point within the mind which receives this very morning’s dew, this very morning’s manna of joy and peace.

Feel! Feel the sanctity of your own true nature palpably, consciously.

Focus upon that hunger for spiritual food, for the dew of righteousness. Be still in your seeking. Be still in your knowing.

And then, when your joy is complete—only then—move forward into the world of illusion where good seems bad and bad seems good and the manna of love has been dried up by the false sun of circumstance.

You shall carry the consciousness of the soul well satisfied with spiritual food throughout the day. And then each illusion may be met with an infinite love. Such is the Father’s gift through Jesus Christ to you. Rejoice and be glad.

We leave you in the joy and peace of the consciousness of Christ, now and forever. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Five and the section on salespeople and entrepreneurs:

Salespeople

In most businesses it is the job of salespeople to keep the shelves stocked and point people in the right direction to find the items they are looking for. However, such things as automobiles, appliances, motorboats, and homes would each have unique features, and a prospective buyer could benefit from a basic education by a salesperson. Of course, there are many ways to sell a product—some more positive than others.

Frequently salespeople can be a little pushy as they try to sell their products to customers who are looking for such. It may also be that their sales tactics would include what may be called stretching the truth in order to make the sale. In this type of a situation customers are often at the mercy of such attempts at manipulation, and the more trusting the customer the more advantage may be taken of that trust and customer. Often the customer can easily feel the efforts of manipulation that the salesperson is using and will reflexively back off from such attempts to make a sale. In the long run such sales tactics are very likely doomed to limited success which could well drive the salesperson deeper into this way of thinking and relating to customers.

This is in stark contrast to the situation which arises when a customer meets a salesperson that is not manipulative. Perhaps the salesperson knows the product they are selling and is sensitive to the customer’s needs and limitations of understanding exactly what they are looking for. In this type of a sales situation the customer is able to relax into what they recognize as the good hands and intentions of the salesperson. Whether or not the purchase is made, the customer feels like they were treated fairly and they at least came away with more information about how to find their desired item to purchase. Treating people with respect, and even a little bit of love, will likely make the knowledgeable and compassionate salesperson a success both as a salesperson and as a human being moving towards the open heart and the fourth density of love and understanding.

Entrepreneurs

When we speak of an entrepreneur, we have a person who is attempting to be a player in the business world. The effort put forth by such a person is, in a sense, creative as they are bringing a new business into being with their talents, money, partners, and willingness to work and take a risk that the venture will succeed. It is truly a creative effort if there is not only a new business but perhaps an entirely new product that is the focus of the entrepreneur’s efforts. In both situations there is a significant risk that the effort will fail for one reason or another.

No matter what the product or the means of offering it for sale, the business world has always been looked upon as a rough and tumble situation where the practices utilized to succeed may often seem ruthless and uncaring in the treatment of employees, customers, competitors and in advertising. Oftentimes every corner is cut and every advantage is taken in order to succeed. Entities operating within the business world can certainly be of service to others, depending upon their personal choices. But I think those who work within the business world are attempting to make a living by selling whatever their product or service might be. This is not necessarily a service-to-self action because their customers usually want to buy what they are selling.

Back in the 1950’s there was a television show called “Get Smart”, starring Don Adams and Barbara Feldon as secret agents in a counterintelligence agency. In one episode their mission was to infiltrate a large corporation to see if they could find out who was selling government secrets to foreign countries. Barbara Feldon’s character, who was simply called 99, asked Don Adam’s character, Maxwell Smart, if he thought that he could get a job with the large corporation and complete the mission. Max replied, “99, I have been trained as a government agent to be cold, cruel, and ruthless”, and then he added, “But not enough for business!”

Of course, one does not need to be “cold, cruel, and ruthless” to succeed in business! The spiritual seeker may find many opportunities for positive choices in such an intensely competitive world. I think it is likely the case that the more we utilize spiritual principles such as there being love in every moment, and in seeing each person we meet in the business world as the Creator, that will determine what our experience is in that environment. In the following quote Latwii raises the bar of expectation for anyone who would be either a salesperson or an entrepreneur:

Those of you to whom these words express a recognizable duty and honor may know that whether you seem to be a businessman, a homemaker, a queen or a shepherd, there is that inner citadel, at the top of which is a watchtower, and the only lamp that is lit is the lamp lit by the deepest heart as it gazes in worship and adoration from light into light, knowing light, accepting light, blessing light and allowing the crystal of the heart of hearts to turn the self into the metaphysical lamp upon the hillside, the city upon the hill, not for the notice or understanding or thanks of mankind, but for the doing of it alone, for the keeping of the watch. Latwii, 10/4/87.

Irrespective of our position in life we have the opportunity to share unconditional love with everyone around us and imbue our relationships with the light of love which helps us to serve as a beacon for everyone that we meet. This would be most helpful in the business world where it is so easy to forget the reason that we all exist upon the earth to open our hearts in unconditional love to the degree that we are able to be graduated into the fourth density of love and understanding. This is truly the work of the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning my Physical Therapist came by to give me more exercises to strengthen my right hip since I no longer need a cane to get around. We just steadily move forward in exercises and activity as the healing process also moves forward. He will come by again Thursday for his last visit.

A Heart Full Of Peace

I am the principle of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love, that consciousness within which lies the peace in which we always end our greeting to you.

We wish you peace because it is the natural estate of the mind and the heart of one whose consciousness is that of love, regardless of the outer circumstances, regardless of the apparent helplessness of one over such outer circumstances.

The heart of one stayed on Jesus the Christ is at rest within itself, holding itself and all others in the same compassion as does Christ, in the faith that Christ has come before and opened the gates to the full consciousness of that love for all.

May each new situation this day be seen not for its outer configuration but as an environment into which you bring the inestimable value of a consciousness of love and a heart full of inner peace.

In this peace we leave you and bless you, now and ever. Amen.

2022-10-31

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Five and the section on Service-to-others aspect of earning a living:

Service-to-others aspect of earning a living

Seek first the consciousness of love through meditation and analysis of action and thought, and that which is needed shall be given unto you according to the circumstances needed by you in your own opinion before this incarnational experience. All shall be given to you, for you see, no matter what the illusion of manipulation and manifestation may be, all this can be given unto you. All is indeed free. And that which is not, will not be. Each has designed for himself a special incarnation offering powerful experiences of lack and plenty, pain and peace. If you have little money, think not that you do not deserve more. If you have much money, think not that you deserve less. But whatever your environment, fill it with your love of the Creator and allow that love to reach to the infinity of the Creator’s laughing face, that His light may shine infinitely through you that you may become plenty to others. Q’uo, December 20, 1986

Q’uo suggested that each of us has planned incarnations within this third-density illusion which are full of qualities that we have chosen to help us move along our spiritual path. Q’uo suggested that we keep foremost in our minds and desires to love and serve the Creator: the Creator in the creation, in other selves, and in our self as well. In most cases we will be able to earn a sufficient amount of money to be able support ourselves at the simplest level of need.

Whatever the circumstances of our standard of living are, we have very likely chosen them before this incarnation. They will be a beginning point that will provide us a path to spiritual progress that we will very likely recognize to be of paramount importance. If we place our focus on our spiritual journeys, we will very likely also find a way to pay our bills. However, if we should ever have any doubt about how to manifest a means of earning a living that is of service to others, Q’uo suggested that we utilize meditation to find our innermost consciousness of love to provide the direction most helpful for us to travel. Meditation is a good means by which our guides, our subconscious mind, our higher self, and even the Creator can communicate thoughts, images, and words that can give the best direction in which to move and choices to make regarding how we may find work that is inspiring to us and of service to others.

The great value of groups that come together in order to serve is that they reflect two ways. They reflect out into the world, as is the conscious intention of such a group. One is able to create, as an offer to the community, projects and systematic attempts to serve that are able to be offered over a period of time with steadiness and stability. This takes a group of people out of themselves and lets them have a look at living their beliefs in such a way that they are truly of service to others. Q’uo, August 25, 2005

In this quote Q’uo is speaking of a general quality of how, when we work together in groups, we have the opportunity of putting our basic beliefs of how to be of service to others into a means of living our beliefs. This is a far more spiritually-oriented means of working that puts our core beliefs into action in a steady and stable way that serves others most effectively. It is akin to Joseph Campbell’s advice to follow our bliss. It is a way of life and work that does not seek financial gain as the main reason for our work. Such financial gain may, indeed, also be realized, but it is more of a side effect of our work efforts that seek most purely to offer assistance to any who we may encounter in our chosen line of work. This is, indeed, the work of the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning I was able to get more into the rhythm of my day in that I took care of the cats upstairs as well as Boscoe downstairs, and I watered the house plants for the first time since my surgery. I use a cane to walk and do this work, and it is getting easier to get around now. Occasionally, I take a few steps without the cane.

Rest Not Your Staff

I am the spirit of Jesus the Christ, the principle of love which speaks to the world today.

Welcome to a morning of the creation of the Father! Welcome to the path of the pilgrim! Allow yourself to awaken slowly, for, as you slept, so have you been taught and comforted by that which is not of understanding to your conscious mind.

Now, as you brush the sand of sleep from your eyes and gaze about you, whether your environment is the mansion or the hovel, yet before your eyes it is the pilgrim’s path you see.

Gather up your staff, then, and prepare to walk this day as a pilgrim of love; of infinite consciousness; of the kingdom of the Father. And rest not your staff until that inside heart speaks to you of a day well-accomplished in love and the consciousness of love.

Then may you lay down your staff at the end of your busy day and rest again in the everlasting arms that enfold you between sleeping and waking once again to the peace, love and joy of the consciousness of divine love, the path of the seeker.

It is on this path and in this consciousness that we leave you, now and ever, with blessings. Amen.

I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:

2022-10-30

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Five, Living the Choice in the Work Environment, and the section on The Work Ethic—why we work:

Carla’s goals for Chapter 5—In this chapter we look at how to make service-to-others choices in the work environment where most of us spend so much of our lives.

102-Chapter Five

Living the Choice in the Work Environment

The Work Ethic—why we work

In regards to money, Q’uo said:

“You ask us about the companionship of money and spirituality. It is written in one of your holy works that the love of money is the root of all evil. We would like to point out that it is the love of money, as it is any idolatry, which is at the root of separation, whether it be the separation of true worship of the great divine mystery because of pieces of wood and stone or the separation of one’s focus from that same mystery because of the love of counting. It is not the money itself which is contrary to a life led with a spiritual center, but the idolatrous love of that which is builded by man in imitation of the Creator’s abundance. Q’uo, December 20, 1986

Q’uo gave an overview of the concept of money by emphasizing that it is the love of money—and not money itself—that can become a stumbling block for us in our work environment. Q’uo suggested that if we wish to seek true abundance in our lives, that may be found in appreciating the Creator’s universe in which we live and move and have our being. If we must face the reality of earning money to pay for our needs, then we can thank the Creator for giving us the chance for being in this world, learning the lessons of love of the Creator, and opening our hearts in unconditional love for those around us.

This focus upon the love of the Creator and Its creation gives us a path out of the temptations of our culture to glory in the hoarding of money as if we were trying to win a game of Monopoly. We may be forced to play the money game, but we do not need to be attached to money as a direct source of happiness.

It has been said, “To work is to pray,” and for those lucky enough, shall we say, to have found occupations which enable them to supply themselves with the necessities of survival which also feed the spirit, this is in the deepest sense true. You may find these people working with their hands to make beauty, working with their minds as channels of various forms of love, working among people in such a way that their very being is of service in a substantial manner. But for so many, my friends, the connection between the daily life and love, between action and meditation, is not apparent. And in order for you to become able to link in any way the work of empty form which you find yourselves performing and the work which is love, it is recommended that you begin with the meditation rather than with the work. Hatonn, February 4, 1982

Hatonn said that the ideal situation for whatever our occupation might be is to be able to support ourselves in a way that also is in harmony with our spiritual journeys. If we should be that fortunate, we will be in a situation where our work is literally and metaphysically a prayer of service and thanksgiving to the Creator. In such an ideal situation we will commune daily with love, beauty, purpose, and inspiration.

However, Hatonn recognized that this ideal work situation is not a reality for many people. Instead, “the work of empty form” is all too often the situation that many people find themselves in. So many people have jobs that they don’t like but continue to pursue because it seems like their only choice. They feel stuck, unhappy, and unable to find a way to feel like they are really being of service to others in a meaningful way. Hatonn’s recommended solution was to engage in meditation, and perhaps contemplation and prayer as well, to ask within as to how to find an occupation that would be more aligned with one’s values and personal inspiration and satisfaction. Then it might also be helpful to release all worry about what the answer will be or when it will come and simply have faith that all is well and that the appropriate work will be made known to us at the right time. I would imagine that most conscious seekers of truth have created pre-incarnative choices that are meant to provide the highest and best path to take.

This entity, because of his attitude of service to others and his determination to make a difference with his open heart and his loving energy, has fulfilled the requirement of right livelihood, which is to serve the one infinite Creator with, as this instrument would say, singleness of heart. The purity of desire to serve is powerful in metaphysical terms and once this determination to serve the infinite Creator in all that is seen and in all that is sought and in all that is beheld is adopted, the service is established in a way that shall never be true within third density alone. . . Thoughts are the objects of that realm which is entered in what those of Ra would call “time/space,” or the metaphysical or inner realms of existence. Within those realms, we do not believe, my brother, that there is anything which you can do to earn money which would not be considered a right livelihood in terms of your intention to serve the one infinite Creator. Q’uo, August 8, 2004

Q’uo suggested that it is our desire to be of service to others that is the most important ingredient in any work that we do. It is our intention to be of service to others and the one Creator which creates our right livelihood. Our pure will to serve others transmutes our space/time effort into the level of time/space, or the world of spirit, so that we are continually serving the one Creator when we do our work with love for all. Thusly do we become Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of life.

This morning Diana and I went to the airport and picked up Liz, a friend of 50 years, who will stay with me for most of this week as Diana returns home this evening after eight days of helping me to recover from hip replacement surgery. Diana has also been very helpful to my kittie cats, taking Mush and Boscoe to the vet to have various problems solved. And she also cleaned the upstairs where Mush and Bennie live so that they might have a better life. It is such a blessing to have friends like Diana and Liz who are willing to travel a great distance to help me when I needed it the most.

That Love In You Shall Love

I am the spirit of Jesus Christ, the spirit of the love that is the consciousness of the Creator Itself, greeting you in the vibration of that love which is most comforting to this instrument.

We are aware that we are precipitant this day. Yet this instrument is tuned and so we speak.

Sink your feet two miles down into the terrible maelstroms and volcanoes of the sulfurous nether regions of those who have no hope, and reach upward, grasping with your fingers the tenuous threads of the wings of angels and the lips of prophets. For if you are not aware that your nature is one with demons and angels both, then you are not aware of the fullness of the love of Christ and of the universality of the nature of your Creator.

Who shall be Lord of your life? An entity made of your ideals and dreams? A man-made shibboleth? Or the reality of deepest things, the allness of the nature of God?

Turn your understanding, then, to the acceptance of unacceptable things and the recognition of love in all situations, whether they are, to you, fragrant with virtue or reeking of vice. Such is the power of judgment that you can make lovely things ugly and ugly things wonderful. Yet, my children, is that what you desire?

Wait patiently, then, with your eyes turned to the doorway wherein dwells the spirit of Jesus Christ. For in the fullness of your time His spirit shall come unto you with the loving of love itself, that you need not love, but that love-in-you shall love, accept and understand all the universality that your humanity cannot encompass.

This can only be accomplished through the resoluteness of your will to accept and love in the spirit of the Lord of your life, who accepted all and loved to the end.

May the peace which Jesus Christ demonstrated to you rest upon you, now and always. Amen.

I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:

We come in the name of Love and open our hearts, our minds, and our souls to send love, light, and healing energies to Mother Earth as she brings forth a New Earth in fourth density. May all souls on Earth feel our love, light, and healing energies in their hearts, in their minds, and in their souls. Amen.

2022-10-29

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Four and the section on service to country:

Service to Country—Armed Forces, Peace Corps, etc.

Ra suggested that members of the armed service, even in wartime, could polarize positively in certain circumstances:

One may find oneself in the situation of war and polarize somewhat towards the positive, activating orange, yellow, and then green by heroic, if you may call them this, actions taken to preserve the mind/body/spirit complexes of other-selves.

Finally, one may polarize very strongly fourth ray by expressing the principle of universal love at the total expense of any distortion towards involvement in bellicose actions. In this way the entity may become a conscious being in a very brief span of your time/space. This may be seen to be what you would call a traumatic progression. It is to be noted that among your entities a large percentage of all progression has, as catalyst, trauma.[1]

I am guessing that the “heroic actions” that would aid a soldier in activating the green ray would be, for example, jumping on a grenade to keep fellow soldiers alive. However, for those who are not in the military, there may arise other opportunities to refrain from “warlike” attitudes and behaviors, and this, too, can reflect positive choice. Turning the other cheek, or not fighting back when physically or mentally attacked by another person would be a very heroic thing for a Player to do. Then that same Player could engage their would-be attacker in a conversation that might find the root of the animosity between them and seek to clarify and harmonize this relationship.

Many people, both men and women, learn skills in the military that allow them to have a career after their term in the military is concluded such as in flying planes, communication, construction of roads, dams, housing, etc.

As far as Peace Corps, and similar groups are concerned, seem to offer many organized opportunities for positive service. For example, the Teacher Corps, of which I was a member in the early ’70s, worked in the inner-city schools of this country in order to help kids there get better educations, as they were located in low-income areas that frequently did not have sufficient funds to afford up-to-date schools, classrooms, supplies, or salaries for teachers. This was perhaps a more obvious avenue for green-ray love than some other government jobs, especially given its collaborative nature working with input from local universities.

I think that service to one’s country and its people was exemplified in a most powerful, unexpected, and inspiring way by Muhammad Ali. He was an Olympic gold medal winner and a three-time heavyweight boxing champion of the world who used his fame and his talents as means by which to set an example later in life as to how people could use their own talents to be of service to others. These are the six core principles by which Muhammad Ali lived from a film by Ken Burns, Sara Burns, and David McMahan:

There have been very few people in the world who have successfully been able to transcend their career or profession to become a symbol of larger, societal issues. As an athlete, Muhammad Ali was a three-time world heavyweight boxing champion and an Olympic gold medalist. He devoted himself to humanitarian work during his boxing career, and dedicated himself full-time to this life work since retiring from the ring. Ali always said that boxing was merely the vehicle that gave him the means to help others. His athletic achievements provided Ali with a platform to be heard, and he truly believed that he was put on this earth exactly for that reason—to use this unique gift to positively benefit humanity, one person at a time. Ali traveled the world on missions related to peace, building mutual respect, and healing. He was a United Nations Messenger of Peace and a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. He was a man who believed that the greatest possibilities for global peace and unity begin with individual transformation. Muhammad Ali’s life embodied his principles and ideals. They guided him through the hard work necessary to be the best athlete he could be, and they gave him the strength and courage throughout his life to stand up for what he believed. It is Ali’s six core principles of confidence, conviction, dedication, respect, giving, and spirituality that inspired his work and that are embedded in the mission and goals of the Muhammad Ali Center in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. The Muhammad Ali Center’s mission focuses on preserving and promoting Muhammad Ali’s legacy, sharing his SIX CORE PRINCIPLES, and being a repository of inspiration and guidance for all.

1 Confidence: belief in oneself, one’s abilities, and one’s future. Ali had the confidence and drive it took to become an Olympian and a world heavyweight champion. He possessed a “deep well” of belief in himself that gave him a second and third world heavyweight championship title. He lifted up people of color in the U.S. and around the world by announcing, “I’m so pretty” and “I’m The Greatest

2 Conviction: a firm belief that gives one the courage to stand behind that belief, despite pressure to do otherwise. Ali found the courage and commitment to become a conscientious objector—standing up for his beliefs, no matter what the consequences: “The real enemy of my people is right here. I will not disgrace my religion, my people or myself by becoming a tool to enslave those who are fighting for their own justice, freedom, and equality.”

3 Dedication: the act of devoting all of one’s energy, effort, and abilities to a certain task. From an early age, Ali found the physical endurance and discipline to become a world champion: roadwork, gym work, sparring, diet, positive mindset, and putting his dreams first.

4 Respect: esteem for, or a sense of the worth or excellence of, oneself and others. Ali’s life path led him to respecting self and others, his purpose and God. He recognized that attaining these ideals was individual, communal, and universal.

5 Giving: to present voluntarily without expecting something in return. Ali traveled the world to learn about its people and to offer assistance wherever he could. Even as a world champion, he did not see himself as different from others: “I’ll still walk in the ghettos, answer questions, and kiss babies. I’ll never forget my people.”

6 Spirituality: a sense of awe, reverence, and inner peace inspired by a connection to all of creation and/or that which is greater than oneself. Ali believed that the world’s spiritual traditions have in common many heart-centered human values: love, hope, charity, justice, and peace. He worked across religious traditions to advance the dignity of all humanity and was grounded in his faith, yet acknowledged a higher power that connected us: “Rivers, ponds, lakes and streams—they all have different names, but they all contain water. Just as religions do—they all contain truths.”

Today, our city, country, and world are ripe for individuals making and being a positive difference. We can all become leaders in our communities by sharing an undeniable drive to achieve our individual and collective dreams, and by using the irrefutable characteristics that we all possess in order to be successful. The attainment of these dreams takes dedication, commitment, self-discipline, courage, and a strong moral centering. “It’s the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen.” —MUHAMMAD ALI “I am an ordinary man who worked hard to develop the talent I was given.

There are heart-centered people and groups located all around the world that have the goal of being of service to others in many different areas of human interaction. Let your heart be your guide to finding them.

Today I switched from using a walker to using a cane to get around. I also was able to use the cane to climb the stairs to the second floor of my house where I took the first shower since the morning of my surgery since the shower in my bathroom is too challenging for me to get into since the entrance is tall and composed of thin metal ridges that keep the shower door in place. I also continued doing my exercises that my Physical Therapist gave me this past week, and I think I am gaining some mobility as a result.

The Gaze Of Jesus Christ

I greet you, my children, in the love of Christ. I am of the principle that vibrates in the consciousness of Jesus Christ to the degree that is comfortable to this instrument.

You shield yourself, again and again, from the fearsome gaze of Jesus Christ, for you fear that He gazes upon you from the cross to condemn you. And yet He gazes at you not in pain but, rather, resting upon a pillar of righteousness.

He looks upon you in all of your complexities and darkness and pierces the confusion with simplicity. For the love of Christ is a simple and singular thing, a constant amidst a sea of seeming changes and shadows. The light of your mundane world shifts and confuses with glare and shade. But the light of the love of Jesus Christ is constant and pierces to the heart of your being and your circumstance, seeing the perfection and holiness that hides in the shadows. May you find peace in your shadows and see the shadows disappear in the constant light of love.

In that peace I leave you now and hope that you may remain forever.

Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Four and section on politics:

Politics

The world of politics is an area of human interaction which Confederation sources have little to say as far as providing the spiritual seeker a helpful way of being of service as Q’uo suggested in the following quote.

We cannot tell you not to be concerned about politics, society, economics and culture. Depending upon your own judgment and your own free will, we encourage you and all entities to follow your heart, to define those gifts that you might feel to share with your society and your culture that might make it better. This is your free will and your good work to do if you wish it. What we are here to speak with you concerning is something far simpler and at the same time something far greater.

We come to tell you a story about love: love unconditional, love unlimited, love that creates and destroys. It is a simple concept: this one great original Thought of unconditional love creating the universe in order to know more about Itself.[1]

Q’uo suggested that if we feel that we can be of service in the political arena that it is certainly our free will choice to do so. It may be that a person with an open heart could make a real difference in the world as a politician, but it might be hard to do so as governmental politics is basically the exercise of power by one faction over another faction rather than seeing all factions as one being. Ra gave the general overview of politics from the point of view loving others being more important than exercising political power for the benefit of people.

Questioner: Thank you. Would you give me the same type of information about the self in relation to the societal self?

Ra: I am Ra. The unmanifested self may find its lessons those which develop any of the energy influx centers of the mind/body/spirit complex. The societal and self interactions most often concentrate upon the second and third energy centers. Thus those most active in attempting to remake or alter the society are those working from feelings of being correct personally, or of having answers which will put power in a more correct configuration. This may be seen to be of a full travel from negative to positive in orientation. Either will activate these energy ray centers.

There are some few whose desires to aid society are of a green-ray nature or above. These entities, however, are few due to the understanding, may we say, of fourth ray that universal love freely given is more to be desired than principalities, or even the rearrangement of peoples or political structures.[2]

But Ra also spoke about Franklin D. Roosevelt, who was the president of the United States during WWII, and who had an open heart and even an activated blue-ray energy center. Ra suggested that, in general, the political arena is one in which people are utilizing their orange- and yellow-ray energy centers. So the ability to be of service to others would be somewhat reduced in that politics partakes so heavily in the exercise of power over others. This power is reflected in the campaigning process where each side in the political debates seeks to present itself as having the best answers to current social problems and, at the same time, attempts to denigrate its political opponent.

However, Ra also suggested that some entities within the political spectrum may be operating from the green ray, or even higher, in their desires to truly be of service to others.  It is not surprising that such entities are quite rare because such entities would also be most likely to be aware, as Ra said in an earlier quote, “that universal love freely given is more to be desired than principalities, or even the rearrangement of peoples or political structures.” Along this line of thinking it may be that Franklin D. Roosevelt was of such a nature as Ra mentioned in this quote:

The one known as Franklin developed very quickly up through red, orange, yellow, and green, and began to work in the blue-ray energy center at a tender age, as you would say. This rapid growth was due, firstly, to previous achievements in the activation of these rays; secondly, to the relative comfort and leisure of its early existence; thirdly, due to the strong desire upon the part of the entity to progress. This entity mated with an entity whose blue-ray vibrations were of a strength more than equal to its own, thus acquiring catalyst for further growth in that area that was to persist throughout the incarnation.[3]

But even a shining soul such as Franklin Roosevelt was subject to the nature of the usual political process of gaining power when he exercised his orange- and yellow-ray energies more than his green- and blue-ray energies. This caused what Ra later described as a pre-incarnatively made choice to contract polio if he should move into the abusive use of power as Ra described in the following quote:

The limitation of the non-movement of a portion of the physical vehicle opened once again, for this entity, the opportunity for concentration upon the more, shall we say, universal, or idealistic, aspects of power; that is, the non-abusive use of power. Thus at the outset of a bellicose action this entity had lost some positive polarity due to excessive use of the orange- and yellow-ray energies at the expense of green- and blue-ray energies, then had regained the polarity due to the catalytic effects of a painful limitation upon the physical complex.[4]

Franklin Roosevelt’s presidency took place during the Second World War, and it was fortunate that he was able to utilize his green- and blue-ray energies to reflect his non-bellicose nature during that time. However, he was apparently a little less successful in maintaining that attitude with his wife according to Ra in this quote:

This entity was not of a bellicose nature, but rather, during the conflict, continued to vibrate in green ray working with the blue-ray energies. The entity who was the one known as Franklin’s teacher also functioned greatly during this period as blue-ray activator, not only for its mate but also in a more universal expression. This entity polarized continuously in a positive fashion in the universal sense while, in a less universal sense, developing a pattern of what may be called karma; this karma having to do with inharmonious-relationship distortions with the mate/teacher.[5]

So it is possible to be of true service to others within the political arena, but it is a very difficult “row to hoe” as there is little support for such high ideals in the rough and tumble world of politics This becomes more and more obvious as we look out upon the political situation in our country now. There is so much anger and confusion about almost every topic one can name: abortion rights, gun rights, global warming, immigration, stolen elections, the January 6 hearings, racism, sexism, forgiving student loans, minimum wage laws, housing and renter’s rights, the future of our economy, US support for Ukraine, voters’ rights, and Covid. Any of these topics can set off a wildfire of opinions pro and con and further serve to divide people from each other. It is hard to have a conversation in a calm and compassionate sense about any of these topics, so the political atmosphere seems to be getting more turbulent as time goes on, and one wonders how all of these areas of concern will play out and affect the collective human heart. However, I believe that the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life will be able to keep their heart open to all sides in every area of argument because, in truth, we are all one, and we know that there is love in every moment.

Throughout the day I have performed the exercises that my Physical Therapist gave me to enhance the strength of my hip so that I may be able to walk without a walker as soon as possible. I have found the exercises very helpful and have gotten better at them so that the pain in the hip is more reduced as time goes on. Diana has been extremely helpful with her suggestions for taking the proper meds at the right time and has also been very helpful in getting Mr. Mush and Boscoe to the vet to have various problems addressed with medications as well.

Seek In All Places

Greetings in the consciousness of Christ. I am the spirit of the consciousness of Christ in the vibration which comforts this instrument.

Many times it comes to each to move forward into the areas which have not been thought fruitful for contemplation. All areas of the transitory illusion which you call life are fruitful for considering, for all things are shot through with the illumination of the divine.

Very often it is in just those things which seem least fruitful that you will find the most efficient and conformable means of moving forward into a greater enlightenment in your search for the light beyond light, the love beyond love and the life beyond measure. Consider, therefore, and let nothing be beneath your notice. Rejoice in all circumstances of mind, body and spirit.

May the peace that Jesus came to bring, the peace that indwells all things, be perceived by you, now and always.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Four and the section on religion:

Religion

There is to each religion the revealed or outer aspect, and the inner, occult, or mystical aspect, and we find that it is in the mystical aspect that the religions have the tendency to unify and to harmonize, so that a mystical Buddhist can speak to a mystical Christian, a mystical Jew, or a mystical Oriental worshipper and have very few communication problems, because mysticism focuses on essence and not on detail.

It is in the revealed or outer aspect of each religion that we find the bulk of the challenging material for those who seek to be inspired by religion. For in each religion you will find in the outer or settled church aspect of the religion the tendency to be dogmatic. The advantage of dogma is a simple and vital one, and we find that many among your peoples have the necessity for a dogmatic type of belief system. In such a system there is a certain list of things that are believed and are held to be true and a certain list of things that are specifically not believed and are held to be untrue.[1]

Q’uo said that most world religions share inner and outer aspects, and that the outer aspects can be quite opposite in their manifestation and ability to harmonize with other religions. The outer type of manifestation of most religions tends to be what Q’uo called “dogmatic.” The dogma of most world religions consists of a set of basic tenets. These are created by the religious institutional hierarchy and tend to be simplified beliefs that tend to divide one religion from all other religions. Such dogmatic beliefs are often the beginning points for arguments between the followers of each religion.

The inner or mystical nature of each religion has the opposite effect upon the believers. Those who follow the mystical way are seeking what turns out to be the unifying aspects of spiritual seeking and finding some portion of the one Creator within themselves. These are transformative experiences which tend to occur in similar ways for any religious adherent, and those who have had such experiences feel a broader point of view that reveals the unity of the creation and its manifestation in all people who are seen as equal children of the one Creator.

In the following quote from Ra, similar information is given regarding the Hebrew faith that was connected with the Ark of the Covenant and the negative influences that the Orion group sought to promulgate as their dogma.

Questioner: Was this a device for communication then? You said they also drew power from it. What type of power? How did this work?

Ra: I am Ra. This was charged by means of the materials with which it was built being given an electromagnetic field. It became an object of power in this way. And, to those whose faith became that untarnished by unrighteousness or separation, this power, designed for negativity, became positive, and is so to those truly in harmony with the experience of service to this day.

Thus the negative forces were partially successful, but the positively oriented Moishe, as this entity was called, gave to your planetary peoples the possibility of a path to the One Infinite Creator which is completely positive.

This is in common with each of your orthodox religious systems which have all become somewhat mixed in orientation yet offer a pure path to the One Creator which is seen by the pure seeker.[2]

Here, Don asked Ra about the Ark of the Covenant which was apparently designed by negatively-oriented entities during the time of Moses. It was meant to be a source of power that could control the followers of Moses. However, because Moses was such a positively-oriented being, he was able to use that positivity in a manner that created a purely positive path to the one infinite Creator. Ra also said that even thought all the major religions on Earth have become “somewhat mixed in orientation,” each one also offers a purely positive path to the one Creator for the pure seeker. I take this to mean that a pure seeker would be a more spiritually mature person who would be aware that the concepts of love of all and unity with all are the qualities of any religion to be valued above any dogma.

I believe that the term “pure seeker” would be a person such as Carla who considered herself a mystical Christian. What this means in the practical sense is that, in her own words, she “did not do dogma.” She said that she concentrated on the red print of the King’s James’ version of the Bible because, as these words were said to have been spoken by Jesus, she believed them to be less distorted.  Carla sang in the church choir from the age of four, and throughout her life she participated in the Episcopal Church services with her whole heart as she felt that singing sacred music was food for her soul. She could sing either alto or soprano, and her ability to come in on time whenever the music called for it helped the rest of her section do likewise.

For Carla the Holy Communion was truly a magical event in which the wine and the wafer became the blood and body of Jesus. In 64.4, Ra spoke to this point in particular and to Carla’s need to attend weekly church services in general:

Questioner: Thank you. Could you explain the basic principles behind the ritual which we perform to initiate the contact and what I would call the basic white magical rituals—principles of protection and other principles? Could you please do this?

Ra: I am Ra. Due to your avenue of question we perceive the appropriateness of inclusion of the cause of this instrument’s transitory vital-energy distortion. The cause is a bias towards the yearning for expression of devotion to the One Creator in group worship.

This entity was yearning for this protection both consciously in that it responds to the accoutrements of this expression, the ritual, the colors and their meanings as given by the distortion system of what you call the church, the song of praise, and the combined prayers of thanksgiving, and, most of all, that which may be seen to be most centrally magical: the intake of that food which is not of this dimension, but has been transmuted into metaphysical nourishment in what this distortion of expression calls the Holy Communion.

The subconscious reason, it being the stronger for this yearning, was the awareness that such expression is—when appreciated by an entity as the transmutation into the presence of the One Creator—a great protection of the entity as it moves in the path of service to others.

The principle behind any ritual of the white magical nature is to so configure the stimuli which reach down into the trunk of mind that this arrangement causes the generation of disciplined and purified emotion, or love, which then may be both protection and the key to the gateway to intelligent infinity.

Carla’s love of Jesus and her devotion to weekly church services as I mentioned earlier, was developed when she was only two years old and began to have her spiritual experiences with Jesus on her journeys to her Magic Garden. She felt that the church services gave her more ability to be of service to others and feel the love of Jesus coming through her heart for all others. She was able to see people more at the level of the soul rather than simply personality shells as she used to say.

During the Ra contact Carla very much appreciated Ra’s suggestion that we put the Bible, incense, candle, and chalice of water at her head for each session as these were the items with which she dressed the church altar. In 3.4, Ra explained how these items aided Carla:

The incense acts as energizer to the physical body of this instrument, signifying its humanity. This is, therefore, a necessity that the wafted smoke is perceived from the same relative angle as the instrument perceives the opened Bible, balanced by the lighted candle signify[ing] love/light and light/love and, therefore, give the mental and emotional, shall we call it, distortion complex of this instrument the sight of paradise and peace which it seeks. Thus energized from the lower to the higher, the instrument becomes balanced and does not grow fatigued.

In the overall sense Carla felt that the Law of One was an internally consistent philosophy which totally supported her religious beliefs and her desire to be of service to the One Infinite Creator and any person that might give her an opportunity to be of service to them.

When I was researching Q’uo sessions regarding philosophical beliefs I came up with the following channeling which impressed me with the depth and breadth of some of the most inspiring information I have ever read. It covered the areas of philosophy, religion, and the One Creator. So I have copied it in order to share it in its entirety without further comment:

February 18, 2007

Group question: The question this week has to do with the various religions that we have on planet Earth. They all seem to have a center of truth, but each religion also seems to have a number of adherents who interpret it their own way and who become fanatic in one way or another, trying make the religion into a dogma, to say this is the way and the only way. Is this a human trait? And how can we really know what is the true path for each of us? It seems like each of us has that spark of the Creator in us that recognizes truth and we are more reminded of truth than informed of truth. Can Q’uo give us some general principles as to how look at the various religions and how to find what is “the way” for us?

(Carla channeling)

Q’uo: We are those known to you as the principle of Q’uo. Greetings, my friends, in the love and in the light of the one infinite Creator, in Whose service we come to you this day. Thank you for creating a circle of seeking. Thank you for inviting us to join that circle. Thank you for the excellent question concerning how each seeker may find his own way amidst the welter of seemingly disparate theories of who God is and what the nature of creation is. It is our privilege to share our thoughts with you on this interesting subject.

As always, we would ask that each entity listen carefully for resonance, not only in the things we have to say but in listening to all opinion from whatever source. You are fully able to feel that resonance and that spark of interest and we would encourage you to wait for that resonance and that spark rather than taking everything that we have to say as being equally useful. We thank you for this discrimination on each of your parts. It allows us to speak our thoughts to you without being concerned that we will inadvertently infringe upon your free will or disturb your sacred process of evolution in mind, body and spirit.

You ask this day concerning how to wend your way amidst the amazing array of religious and philosophical opinion concerning the nature of the godhead, the nature of creation, and the nature and purpose of human life. In former days we would not have been able to have such a simple beginning to a discourse upon this subject. The progress of your science has enabled us to have a fairly straightforward entry into the doorway of the nature of the created universe.

Investigation has shown that which seems to be solid matter is actually made up largely of a plenum or a space in which there is no mass, very thinly populated by energy vortices. These energy vortices are the atoms and molecules that make up the cells of your body as well as the material of all other things that you can see, feel, touch, taste and smell.

These energy fields cooperate together and nest within one another in various ways according to the nature of attraction and repulsion, forming the universe that you see. Scientific inquiry has proven that all parts of the universe communicate and are connected with all other parts of the universe, so that the universe is one thing. This is not given to you by priests or prophets but by your scientists, who have become the priests and prophets of your culture, if we may give it that name.

What is the nature, then, of these vibratory patterns that arrange themselves hierarchically so as to create orders of magnitude, creating everything from the atoms and molecules within the cells [of] your body to the star systems within your galaxy? We of the Confederation of Planets in the Service of the Infinite Creator have identified the nature of these hierarchically unitive and harmonious energy fields as being that of love. The energy that created the stars is that of love. The energy that created you is the energy of love. That does not define love, for if love is all that there is, there is nothing to which to compare it. There’s nothing from which to contrast it. In its undistorted form it is forever a mystery, unable to be plumbed by centers of consciousness which are aware of themselves. The truth of the universe lies most profoundly in the unknowable reaches of the mystery of the love and the light of the One Infinite Creator.

Yet the universe is unitive. And it is unitive in a certain way. It is unitive holographically. Any one spark of the infinite Creator contains the entire nature of the One Infinite Creator. Every cell of your body sings the song of the One Infinite Creator. The suns in their courses sing the song of the One Infinite Creator. There is fullness to the universe that is intense, as if every particle and iota of the universe were stuffed to bursting with the love and the light of life. You experience life as you breathe in and breathe out. And you ask what this experience is, for you are aware of yourself. And certainly you have many, many voices in your ear, happy to explain precisely what life is and how to live that life in a good way.

Please understand, as you look back over some of your more difficult experiences with authority figures who have attempted to tell you what to believe, that every entity who seeks to serve the Infinite Creator can fall into what the one known as T called “the trap” of teaching in such a way as to constrict the energies of those listening to his words. Let us look at that energy of the authority figure who wishes to teach well, in order to come into a more compassionate and charitable understanding of what drives such an entity.

An entity who is moved and inspired by whatever agency, personality or inspired writing becomes aware of himself in a special way. He becomes aware of how alive he is, and he thinks, “I must give this gift, this wonderful life I feel, to others! I must pass on this wonderful inspiration that is given to me!” There is generally no intention of doing anything other than the purest of good. However, the trap of dogma is always waiting for the teacher.

It is a wise teacher indeed who is able to differentiate between his personal experiences with the divine and that which is helpfully expressed concerning seeking the divine. In a world that wishes to codify, organize and arrange life in an orderly manner, the mystical view, which is found at the heart of all religions and many philosophies as well, while greatly appealing, is found cumbersome and awkward to teach. When you’re speaking of something that is indescribable and ineffable, words fail.

The human tendency, then, is to apply an organization to the mystery of the one Creator. And different religions have had different reasons to create different structures of belief, which have hardened into dogma. If the Creator is infinite love and infinite light, and if the creation is evolving continuously forever, then there is continuously more of truth than there was before. Consciousness is continuously expanding. The problem with any dogma, then, is that it cannot re-form itself to hold the new truth that is flowing forth at every moment from the creative principle.

As the seasons change, as the grass blooms and withers again and again, so the consciousness of humankind evolves and grows. You are a point of that consciousness. You have access in your very nature, in every cell of your body, in every thought that you think to the one infinite Creator in its undistorted form. Yet that truth lies deeply protected in you. It is protected from your casual thoughts. It is protected from the stormy seas of your daily, conscious experience. It is protected by its placement within your heart. The mind and all of its intellectual forces cannot storm the bastion of the open heart.

Entities, then, seeking to share bits of their truth with others, become invested in this codified, formalized, organized structure of thoughts that add up to a way to seek the one infinite Creator. With the gift of hindsight, scholars have often pontificated as to where a certain religion went wrong or how a certain religion has everything right. Yet as soon as the seeking for the one infinite Creator becomes codified and organized beyond a certain point, it can be a delimiting influence rather than an expansive influence.

Many churches and many different religions decide to bypass the intellect and rest upon the opening of the heart. They engage in song after song that praises the one infinite Creator within the language and clothing of that particular religion. Their members are perhaps encouraged to pray out loud and to become ecstatic. And in the surging of the rhythmic cadences of the songs, in the prayers and the praise, the love and light of the one infinite Creator seem palpable. And therefore the experience of those seeking the Creator in these ways has a certain amount of purity to it which is missing from those more intellectually organized religions where the mind is the tool used to probe at the meaning of life, of what it is to be a human being and what it is to serve the one infinite Creator.

Interestingly enough, love is the one great force that all entities know intimately, but which resists definition completely. And indeed, to attempt to use words to describe love is to attempt to build a great edifice out of pebbles. Love is all that there is. That one Thought is the creation. And you have a port on the ocean of that Thought in your heart of hearts. Therefore, you are as equipped as any entity in the universe to seek the One Infinite Creator. You have primary access to the direct experience of the Creator.

And indeed, it was for that purpose that you came into this illusion. You are gathering information. You are working with that information according to the biases of your personality and your desires. And as you gather your life experiences, each of you makes choices which open to you a way to move forward and to progress. And each of you has had this experience of awakening and coming to the realization that you are a truly powerful entity, able to question and able to seek. Once an entity has awakened and has begun to ask the deeper questions, a rhythm begins to occur between Creator and created. The asking and the answering becoming as entwined as a heartbeat, in and out, pulsing, pulsing, pulsing, so that as you ask, so you receive; as you ask, so you receive.

It [is] instantaneous and constant in your life. You have at each heartbeat, at each breath, the opportunity to ask and the opportunity to receive an answer. The sticking point here is that that answer comes within the mystery of silence. And it oozes up into your conscious experience almost as a surprise to you. You have learned by osmosis. You have soaked up the truth. And as you live out your life you discover what you are learning as it shows up in your thinking. And many are the epiphanies and “aha’s” of a spiritual life in which the seeker is content to let this teaching occur mostly in the silence of meditation, contemplation and the deep resting in whatever practices create for you personally a sacred chamber in which to tell the secrets of your heart to the loving ears of the One Infinite Creator.

You are consciousness. It is not something you possess. It is not a characteristic of you. Consciousness lives your life to the extent you can get the details of your personality out of the way. And yet the details of your personality are all valuable. Therefore, the perfectly natural desire of the intensely devoted student to cast aside the personality and devote the self entirely to the silence is, for most entities, a solution that shall not be satisfying. For most entities, each coloration and quirk of the personality is there for a reason. Each seeming challenge, difficulty and sorrow that occurs in the life has been placed there not to make you stumble but to help you learn.

Entities who give themselves over to a religion and accept its dogma simplify their path in a certain way. And if they are able to dwell within that simplified structure of thought without falling into the trap of judgment of the self and other selves when they do not believe as you do, they are very likely to be able to use that religion as a way to the infinite Creator that works well. For each religion teaches the basic love of other people and the love of the one infinite Creator. And if an entity loves the Creator and loves the neighbor as the self, however that is put, the path to graduation from third density is clear. The choices to serve others has been made. The work is good.

More and more, however, as entities have matured after many, many incarnations within third density, entities find themselves unable to restrict themselves to the dogma and the canon law of a particular religion. And when entities find themselves unable to do this, then they are set on a new path, a path of their own choosing, a path which they will create themselves. Any entity can create within himself a way, a truth, and a life if he begins and ends with love.

We would not for all the world criticize or undermine those who are in any religion or believe any philosophy. The paths to the One Infinite Creator are as many as the self-conscious beings who seek that Creator. Your way will be unique to you, just as everyone else’s way is unique to them. It helps to see religion for the kind of powerful influence that it is. If you may see the forces of religion to include that of the world as well as that of the starry heavens, then you may see how quickly the energy of a new religion can become heavy and bogged down with dogma and politics.

Look at the religion that this instrument understands the best, for it is her own: the Christian church. It began in the mysticism of the Essenes. The one known as Jesus the Christ was trained and trained in the Essene way as well as in the scholarship of the Jewish religion. This entity’s stories and parables were about simple things: being a peacemaker; understanding that he who loves the prisoner, the orphan, the widow, is loving Jesus the Christ; understanding that he who feeds the hungry is feeding Jesus the Christ.

Jesus asked entities to care for each other and to hold all things in common. There was not in any of his teaching instruction on making a church. Indeed, this entity had no home, and during his peripatetic ministry, he walked on dusty trails with very little of worldly goods at all. In his name, and in his memory, humankind has created a monstrous, rich, arrogant, political organization with many beautiful buildings which reach to the heavens with their spires and their crosses. Yet within them there is no virtue, except in the hearts of those who still seek the Infinite Creator and use those sacred spaces to do so.

Look at any new idea and it is alive! It has a dynamic energy to it that excites people, and people want to capture that and pass that on to their children and their children’s children. And so they make another building, another religion, another code to try to capture that which cannot be captured. At the same time you must appreciate what religion has done for entities on planet Earth. It has given the intellect something to gnaw on. In many different ways it offers people a chance to meet the Creator.

Whether you seek within the bounds of a religion or whether the path upon which you walk is one you have created yourself, your very nature demands that you will meet the Creator, again and again. Things will happen to you that are meaningful to you personally and that move your consciousness from one point to another. Whether you are an indigenous entity that has never read a book, an auto mechanic, a college professor, or the most rarified mystic meditating upon the roof of the world in Nepal or Tibet, you have an equal opportunity to meet the Creator upon the road of your everyday life.

Appreciate religion for what it has offered, to you and to all. In the mystery of the One Infinite Creator there are no roads. There is no way to think upon the sacred. The only opportunity you have is to be the sacred, and therefore to know it from the inside out. Within churches and temples and synagogues and mosques the world over, you have entities and groups of entities who are dedicated to preserving a certain structure which has been helpful to many entities in their search for the infinite Creator. This instrument, for example, chose long ago, in her childhood, to live a life of faith within the Christian church as the path of her life.

As she understands it—as she understood it then and as she understands it now—there was a particular virtue to dedicating her life to Christ. This entity was a devotee in a religion that does not usually have devotees, of that particular kind which this entity is. That is, she was not hungry to soak up the dogma, but rather hungry for the mystery that she felt bursting the bonds of dogma. And she understood that, in any sacred writing, there is a database of inspired thought which bursts the bonds of words when heard again and again in different circumstances of life. And so this entity lives her “rule of life.” She continues to study the same database, the Holy Bible, which she has studied for her entire life. And yet she has rejected all dogma by conscious decision.

Now, each entity can make this kind of choice for himself. And indeed it is necessary to look carefully, and with the artist’s eye, at how to live a rule of life. We do recommend that each entity create a kind of rule of life for himself. What we cannot recommend is how that rule of life goes. You need to walk your own path, paying attention for that which the moment brings to you. Some entities are drawn irresistibly to the Christian faith. Some entities are drawn just as irresistibly to the Buddhist faith. There is a path for just about every personality type. And yet all of these paths hold the barest skeleton of truth in its ineffable and mysterious form. All of those structures of thought that religions represent fail. None of them satisfies that thirst to know the truth.

This instrument is informing us that we must stop this discussion at this point, so we would end with this thought: you are the possessor of truth, but you do not know that you are. However, the Creator is generous in arranging for you within third density an illusion in which nothing can be known, and yet in which you can come to know with a particularly resonant awareness what your path is or what your truth is.

You cannot make it happen. What you can do is to set yourself up in an environment which is capable of holding gnosis, or knowing. Therefore, trust in your own senses, sensings, thoughts and feelings. As you seek to awaken, to seek and to serve, listen and look for the resonances that tell you that you are on the path that is for you. Once you start looking for resonance, you will find that the creation is full of information for you. And the more that you practice listening, the more that you can hear of the voices that are speaking to you in every moment.

We lift you up and honor you in our thoughts and in our hearts. For you have the courage to probe the darkness, knowing that there is nothing but light. We wish you well on your seeking, and thank you for the opportunity to share these humble thoughts with you as you go upon your way.

This morning I came out of my sleep with far less need to urinate which seems to be a function of my kidneys’ normal response to the surgical procedure that I experienced Monday when my right hip was replaced. There have been various unexpected experiences since then, such as numbness, bruising, and swelling of nearby skin. I am glad that my healing process is moving forward in a normal way. However, I have had to consult with the surgeon and other medical personal to discover that my healing is normal as these body responses were not mentioned beforehand.

Eternity And Unity

I am the divine spirit of the love of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in full consciousness.

The entirety of the world is broken up again and again in memory. All the theories of wholeness and entirety created by the minds of men break up and disintegrate faced with eternity.

Indeed, mankind is like the dead leaf upon the scintillating, fast-moving tide of the river which empties into the sea, a frail barque filled with death, too dry and brittle to accept the living waters of the thought of eternity, the thought of unity. Yet it is in this circumstance that Jesus the Christ stands ready, healing, giving new life, changing the dead into new and transformed existence.

May you be as trees planted by the water, not as the leaves which fall from those trees, seeking in dead intellect the spirit of truth.

We leave you in the peace of the full consciousness of love, now and ever.

Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Four and the section on challenges and suicide:

Challenges

Suicide

My sister, it is not our intention or our right to stand in judgment over the actions of another entity. For this reason, we would strongly suggest that those present be aware that such an action is, although not positively polarizing in most cases, an acceptable form of death for those who seek a different avenue of progress. We, being of a positive orientation, regard this as a detrimental action in that, as you are aware, it terminates the possibility of attainment before a number of lessons are offered. It also acts in a less than selfless manner upon the lives of others who had chosen to interaction with the now dead individual for the purpose of that individual’s and their own learning. Again, this, as it exerts control and influences the learning progression of others, can be regarded as beneficial to those whose path lies in the direction of negative orientation. However, for those who seek positive polarization we, in the majority of cases, would strongly suggest avoiding this path.[1]

In this quote on suicide, Latwii did not condemn a person for committing suicide because Latwii is of a positive polarity. Latwii could see the overview that reveals how all actions will eventually lead the seeker of truth to their proper destination, if not in this incarnation, then in another incarnation. But Latwii did state quite clearly that suicide would stop the desired lessons that were planned for the present incarnation, and they did not recommend doing so.

As Ra said: “It is to be noted that among your entities a large percentage of all progression has, as catalyst, trauma.”[2] Before the incarnation it can be seen by the seeker that such trauma within the upcoming incarnation could produce a great deal of growth if it could be processed with love and acceptance. However, within the incarnation this overview would not be available, and the seeker may have “bitten off more that it could chew” and decide to end its life rather than submit to more disease, disharmony, or misery of one kind or another.

And, further, Latwii also focused on the devasting effect that suicide has upon the remaining friends and loved ones of the one who commits suicide. The survivors of the suicide of a loved one may feel a much more intense grief at this type of death than one by disease, accident, or old age. They may also feel that there must have been something they could have done to keep the loved one from committing suicide. And it doesn’t matter that such thoughts are usually incorrect. The feeling of loss is just overwhelming to the loved ones left behind.

Carla and I went through this heart-wrenching process when Don Elkins committed suicide on November 7, 1984, after a year of declining mental and physical health. We were with him every step of the way as the mental and emotional dysfunction came about that Ra predicted was possible in the last session that we had with them:

The questioner is one also in the midst of further initiation. During this space/time the possibility for mental/emotional distortion approaching that which causes the entity to become dysfunctional is markèd.[3]

We tried everything that we could think of to help our beloved spiritual companion Don deal with the paranoia and the unique metaphysical components that accompanied his decline, but sadly, Don eventually took his life. If anyone is interested in reading further about our experience with Don’s suicide, I wrote an article on the 34th Anniversary of his passing detailing our shared experience. You can find it by Googling “The 34th Anniversary of Don Elkin’s passing, and by reading ch 26 in Tilting at Windmills.”

We were fortunate, however, that Carla was able to see Don twice in waking visions after his death. Each time Don assured Carla that all had turned out as was appropriate, but that we would not be able to see how that could be until we, too, passed through death’s door. Even with that assurance, it took Carla six years of therapy with a Jungian therapist before she could be free of her own suicidal feelings that came after Don’s death and feel love for herself and her life. In 2000 L/L Research published Carla’s A Wanderer’s Handbook, and she ended the section on Suicide with this passage:

If you are contemplating suicide, I wish to call you back to the forces of your own unfinished life and work, this present reality with all its challenges and pain. Examine this choice with extreme care. Perhaps there is AIDS or cancer or fear of the final stages of a disease. Yet you live; and always, this is for a reason. As you read these words, I encourage you to find ways to open up to love and self-confidence, to faith and hope, to finding your feet and finding self-forgiveness. Come back to life! I do not feel we are through at this banquet until the celestial waiter brings the check! Eat and drink of life’s sweetness in the tiny ways, in stepping outside and smelling the dew on the grass, the rain in the air, the honeysuckle in bloom, or taking the time to imagine them. Renew the springs of your faith, and keep three words as your motto till you are on safe ground again: “Never give up.[4]

This morning Diana spoke to my hip surgeon, and he said that the swelling, numbness, and pain are all normal responses of the body to the surgical procedure. It is just a matter of time before the body begins the healing process.

This afternoon Diana and I ran errands to pick up some Salmon greenie pouches for Boscoe to help him take his meds. We also picked up some mupirocin ointment for me, and then we went to my PCP where I left a urine sample and blood sample to see if I have UTI.

Terror And Change

I am the wind and fire of spirit and I greet you in the full consciousness of the love of Jesus the Christ.

Terror and change sweep across the human scene day after day and year after year. To the eye of the keen observer it is apparent that the forces called Apocalypse move ever within the divine stew of Earth and Heaven. Each moment, crises of the life and death of the body, mind and spirit are marching in relentless step. And the tender consciousness filled with the spirit of love and reconciliation aches and yearns to heal the ever-flowing waters polluted by negativity.

Turn away from the human scene, seekers of love and service, and gaze steadily upon the inner desire to know and serve the Lord of all. No one can pray for every hurtful thing which meets the awareness, for sins and errors are numberless. Yet in the turning to silent tabernacling with the highest are all things brought into the environs of love and peace within the consciousness. Thus pray not for things, not for results, but for the presence of Christ which will then heal all things.

We leave you within the watchtower of silence and prayer. Peace be with you now and always. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 102 quote is from Chapter Four and the section on parenting:

Parenting

Perhaps to sum up our encouragement of the parent who wishes to know about discipline, we should suggest, number one, that they would live as they would suggest their children to live; number two, that they be honest in their dealings with those souls given into their care, meaning what they say and saying what they mean. And thirdly, when discipline is to be accomplished, allow that discipline to be such a one as may perhaps sting the pride of the young soul in a private way, but not in such a way that others might know that this soul is being disciplined, and that by this much loved parent.

Thus, we move the focus of discipline of children into two areas. Firstly, the arena of the parent, in which the parent is encouraged to think deeply about stressing the spiritual, the just, and the lovely; and second, the arena of the child, in which the child may learn to trust the honesty of the parent and may learn by imitation those things which are to be learned. We know that parents and children and all entities whatever shall fall and clamber up again many times. Mistakes are made upon top of mistakes, yet there is one deep and fathomless thing which binds parent to child, and that is love, for the parent cannot help but love the child, nor can the child help but love the parent. Let this love be communicated. Let this love be celebrated. Never let this love be taken for granted. Love each other, for you are both pilgrims upon the road, parent and child. The parent must do a good deal of guiding, suggesting and, yes, disciplining, for the best road to learn has its limits, its right side and its left side, and beyond that road lie desolate deserts of experience which are not helpful in the sense of learning of love.[1]

In this quote Q’uo gave some very spiritually sound advice for parents to guide their children into the most effective growth of their minds, bodies, and spirits. Q’uo’s first suggestion was that the most effective kind of discipline is that parents live as they would have their children live. This goes beyond the most common and always inadequate “do as I say” dictum. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then behaving as you would wish your child to behave is like a living book to be read and studied continuously.

Q’uo’s second suggestion was that parents use honesty in their communication with their children. Not only should parents behave as they would wish their children to behave, but they should say exactly what they mean—hopefully in a loving manner—and they should mean what they say. I think this asks the parent to be consistent in both their actions and their words when communicating with their children. Again, the language of love balanced with the clarity of wisdom might be most effective in raising a child.

And Q’uo’s third suggestion was that if it becomes necessary to discipline the child in a way that might “sting the pride of the young soulthat this discipline be done in private and not in the view of others. Keeping such a discipline private ensures the least amount of embarrassment for the child and keeps the child’s attention focused on the discipline and not on being embarrassed by others witnessing the discipline.

In the second paragraph of Q’uo’s thoughts on parenting, Q’uo suggested that parents constantly be guided by the overarching principles of how to keep all communications and behaviors spiritually imbued, fair and honest, and, most of all, full of love. If these qualities can become a natural and continual way of interacting with the child, then the child can learn to trust the parents’ honesty. This trust will, in turn, allow the child to learn by imitating the trusted and loved parents. And when the inevitable mistakes are made by either parent or child, there is the abiding love between parents and children that will become the saving grace of both. The parents who are Players will emphasize their love for their children above any mistake which will allow the child to do the same.

The appropriate teach/learning device of parent to child is the open-hearted beingness of the parent and the total acceptance of the beingness of the child. This will encompass whatever material the child entity has brought into the life experience in this plane.

There are two things especially important in this relationship other than the basic acceptance of the child by the parent.

Firstly, the experience of whatever means the parent uses to worship and give thanksgiving to the One Infinite Creator should, if possible, be shared with the child entity upon a daily basis, as you would say.

Secondly, the compassion of parent to child may well be tempered by the understanding that the child entity shall learn the biases of service to others or service to self from the parental other-self. This is the reason that some discipline is appropriate in the teach/learning. This does not apply to the activation of any one energy center, for each entity is unique, and each relationship with self and other-self doubly unique. The guidelines given are only general for this reason.[2]

Those of Ra had a few additions to Q’uo’s thoughts regarding the more basic ways of how parents could teach their children. First, Ra recommended that parents should be able to be completely open-hearted in their expression of their beingness to their children. Again, this suggests a concentration on open-hearted love being shared with the child at all times. This should become the language of the parents to the child. Ra also recommended that parents should completely accept the beingness of the child however it is manifested. The beingness of the child reflects those attributes that the child has brought with it into the present incarnation.

Then Ra suggested that the parents should share with the child the way that the parents “worship and give thanksgiving to the One Infinite Creator”and do this with the child on a daily basis, not just Sunday, but daily. I can only imagine how uplifting and inspiriting this type of sacramental sharing of the spiritual path could become for any child that was able to receive such a gift from its parents every day. It might even help to deflect the type of peer pressure that most kids are subject to from other kids to misbehave and test limits set by parents or teachers.

Ra finished their comments on raising children by suggesting that parents should teach their children the concept of being of service to others or of service to self. It is interesting to me that then Ra said that this type of teaching of the purpose of the life path might be the reason that some discipline would be necessary as part of this learning process. I am assuming that the discipline would be to correct actions that were not of a service-to-others nature for positively-oriented parents. The discipline would add a certain clarity to the teaching of the child what service to others meant and did not mean when put in action.

This morning was the day after my hip replacement surgery, and I was very happy to discover that there was no pain in the surgery site. This lack of pain allowed me to get five straight hours of sleep, which is a couple more than usual. I was also able to urinate twice this morning, so there was no further catherization necessary. However, there was some sharp pain further down the thigh that Diana said is common when surgery on another area of the leg is performed.

Remain Still And Receptive

I am the spirit of the full consciousness of love. I greet you in the name of Jesus the Christ, the great bearer and expression of the full consciousness of love, which is the Logos which guides and governs the development of all things and which is also the end and purpose of all things.

I ask you this day to sit quietly long enough to experience the divine peace and the life-giving love that is everywhere in the atmosphere around you. It comes to you in the song of birds, the whistling of the wind, the rays of the sun and the gentle rhythms of household and nature.

Remain still and receptive until your cup of love is full, full to overflowing. Then may you become a leaven for those who see not love, by smile and word expressing love and peace. Then may you become a servant of love.

We leave you in the love and peace of Jesus the Christ, now and ever. Amen.

I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:
