I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 99.3:

“Questioner: The instrument asks if it will be all right to keep the small gold cross on while she is in one of these sessions, or will it cause some distortion that is not advisable?

Ra: I am Ra. We scan the mental distortions of the instrument. Although the presence of the metallic substance is in general not recommended, in this instance, as we find those distortions weakening the mental/emotional complex of the instrument due to its empathic distortions, the figure is specifically recommended for use by this instrument. We would request that should any strengthening be done to the chain (as we find intended by this instrument) the strengthening links which symbolize eternity to this instrument be as high in purity, or higher, than the remainder of the device.

In this nexus that which this device represents to this instrument is a much-needed strengthener of the mental/emotional patterns which have been much disrupted from the usual configuration of distortions.”

Ra had previously mentioned that metallic and electromagnetic devices were not recommended in these sessions, as a general rule, as they could potentially interfere with the contact. So in this question Don asks Ra if Carla can wear the gold cross that she had recently purchased in these sessions. Ra said that the gold cross was, in this case, specifically recommended because it gave comfort and strength to Carla as she was trying to recover from the throat problem brought on by unclear communication in our attempt to rent a house near the airport in Atlanta. Ra also suggested that if the links between the cross and the necklace were strengthened to ensure the cross would stay on the necklace (the concept of eternity that Ra mentioned) that it was a good idea for the links to be as pure in gold content as was the rest of the cross and necklace. In 96.2, Ra gave a detailed description of how Carla’s unclear communication concerning the house in Atlanta allowed our negative friend to psychically greet Carla and put her life in jeopardy:

Questioner: Could you tell me the cause of the lessening of the physical and vital energies?

Ra: I am Ra. We found the need of examining the mental configurations of the instrument before framing an answer due to our reluctance to infringe upon its free will. Those concepts relating to the spiritual contemplation of personal catalyst have been appreciated by the entity, so we may proceed.

This entity has an habitual attitude which is singular; that is, when there is some necessity for action the entity is accustomed to analyzing the catalyst in terms of service and determining a course. There was a most unusual variation in this configuration of attitude when this instrument beheld the dwelling which is to be inhabited by this group.

The instrument perceived those elementals and beings of astral character of which we have spoken. The instrument desired to be of service by achieving the domicile in question but found its instincts reacting to the unwelcome presences. The division of mind configuration was increased by the continuing catalyst of lack of control. Had this entity been able to physically begin cleansing the dwelling, the, shall we say, opening would not have occurred.

Although this entity attempted clear communication upon this matter, and although each in the support group did likewise, the amount of blue-ray work necessary to uncover and grasp the nature of the catalyst was not effected. Therefore, there was an opening quite rare for this mind/body/spirit complex, and into this opening the one which greets you moved and performed what may be considered to be the most potent of its purely magical manifestations to this present nexus, as you know time.

It is well that this instrument is not distorted towards what you may call hysteria, for the potential of this working was such that had the instrument allowed fear to become greater than the will to persevere when it could not breathe, each attempt at respiration would have been even more nearly impossible until the suffocation occurred, which was desired by the one which greets you in its own way. Thus the entity would have passed from this incarnation.

As I remember it, the “empathic distortions” that Ra speaks about concerning Carla were Carla’s ability to feel Don’s physical and mental weariness building as time went on. And it was because of Don’s weariness that we considered moving to Atlanta so he could be closer to his work as an Eastern Airlines pilot based in Atlanta. Carla’s empathic abilities were significant as she could sense what people were feeling that she had never met but who might sit at a nearby table in a restaurant or walk by her on the street. In 106.22, Ra gave another example of how Carla’s empathic abilities functioned regarding Don:

Questioner: Can you tell me what the instrument’s difficulty was with her last whirlpool?

Ra: I am Ra. The instrument took on the mental/emotional nature and distortion complex of the questioner as we have previously noted. The instrument has been taking the swirling waters at temperatures which are too hot and at rates of vibration which, when compounded by the heat of the swirling waters, bring about the state of light shock, as you would call the distortion. The mind complex has inadequate oxygen in this distorted state and is weakened.

In this state the instrument, having the questioner’s distortion without the questioner’s strength of the distortion one might liken to the wearing of armor, began to enter into an acute psychotic episode. When the state of shock was past the symptoms disappeared. The potential remains as the empathic identity has not been relinquished, and both the questioner and the instrument live as entities in a portion of the mental/emotional complex of the instrument.

This morning I worked on Chapter One of Living the Law of One 103: The Inner Work. I was glad to find some areas when a quote from Ra or some thoughts from me were helpful in fleshing out the concepts that were being discussed.

This afternoon was the first afternoon this week where we didn’t get some rain, so I went outside and began weeding in the back yard. I began in the astilbe garden which is fairly large and got it weeded. Then I moved on to the Hidden Garden and got it weeded. My last two gardens to weed were the flower garden in the middle of the Moss Garden and the Ruins Mound, which I weeded with my trimmer.

The Nature Of The Holy Spirit

I am of the principle of the love of Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

We are aware that you have been wondering what is the nature of the Holy Spirit, for we address ourselves as “we,” and there are innumerable hosts of those of the Holy Spirit. We are spiritual elementals, characters and creatures of light which, moving from the undifferentiated Logos of love, are called to manifest as agents of light.

Many have received this vibration with great clarity and channeled our thoughts as if they were those of Jesus the Christ. This is not correct, as we move upon the same principles which Jesus the Christ exemplified and articulated but are not incarnational beings. Were we to appear visible before you, we would be creatures of light, dancing flames of vitality, energy, life and renewal. This is the spirit of life-giving love. We glint in the air about you, awaiting the inner call for our presence. May each call us early and late, that we may join together with the incarnated spirit of humankind to glorify that love which is beyond words.

“Questioner: That is perfectly fine with us. That noise occurs at the forty-five minute time since the tape is forty-five minutes on a side.

I would just ask as a final question then: If the new table that Jim has built for the appurtenances is satisfactory to hold them since it will give us more room to walk around the bed, and if it is better to leave it in its natural condition as it is, or to coat it with linseed oil or varnish or paint?

Ra: I am Ra. We view this appurtenance. It sings with joy. The pine vibrates in praise. Much investment of this working in wood has been done. It is acceptable. We may suggest it be left either as it is or rubbed with the oil which also is easily magnetized and holds the proffered vibration to a profound extent.”

Don’s First comment here regards Ra’s remark in the previous question that they heard the tape reorder click off after the first side had been recorded. Ra mentioned that that sound came at about the time that it was clear to Ra that the congestion in Carla’s throat would make it necessary to end the contact shortly after this sound as they said in 97.15:

Secondly, as we noted the above, the sound vibration made by one of your sound vibration recording devices was audible to us. If this group desires it may choose to have sessions which are brought to an ending soon after this sound vibration occurs. This decision would ensure the minimal distortions within the instrument towards the discomfort/comfort within the throat until the effects of the magical working of your fifth-density companion have been removed.

Don then asked Ra if the table that I had made to replace the little stand that held the appurtenances was acceptable to replace that little stand. The bedroom that we used for the Ra contact was small, and the bed on which Carla rested during the Ra contact was large enough that it left only about 16 or so inches on each end for Don and me to walk around the bed as we performed the walking of the Circle of One ritual to begin each Ra session. The table that I built to give us more room did so by being built with a base that slid totally under the bed and was connected on one end of the base by a vertical support that connected to the top platform, which held the appurtenances. This top platform was a reflection of the base and extended over the bed in order to provide more room to walk around the bed during the performance of the ritual. The table actually looked alike a long bracket [ . In 2.6, Ra described the appurtenances that the table held:

Place at the entity’s head a virgin chalice of water.

To the center, the book most closely aligned with the instrument’s mental distortions which are allied most closely with the Law of One, that being the Bible that she touches most frequently.

To the other side of the Bible, a small amount of cense, or incense, in a virgin censer.

To the rear of the book symbolizing One, opened to the Gospel of John, Chapter One, a white candle.

I wasn’t a particularly good carpenter or furniture builder, but apparently my desire to put love into this table was successful. I took Ra’s suggestion and rubbed the table with a kind of linseed oil.

This morning I worked on expanding the Introduction to Living the Law of One 103: The Inner Work. I also worked on editing the email that we send out to anyone who expresses an interest in attending one of our public channeling meditations which we hope to begin again in October. This afternoon I got back to working on the Introduction for 103 as there is still a forecast for heavy rain today and tomorrow. We have gotten a total of 2 inches on Monday and Tuesday, so my gardens are finally well watered.

Ground Your Joy

I am the spirit of the perfect consciousness of love and I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ, the emissary of gladness and the emissary of travail.

We ask you at this moment to pause and refrain from considering the bountiful dualistic aspects of your journey; of your day; of your thoughts, and of your self. Flowers are giving their beauty to the air and to the trees, flowers unseen by minds intent on the business of the world. The sky dances above you, tossed to and fro by the winds of summer. And in the changes of the weather birdsong ceases and the butterflies find their protection. Second density is for you a rest, a refreshment and a healing.

Imagine always that your feet are planted in the earth, that your soul may grow to heaven. And keep not your attention on worldly matters but take some time to gaze at the mute prayers and silent orisons of the world of the Creator.

Beauty is enormously important food. Eat of it, for it is all around you. And so find beauty also; the flower behind the disruption; the bobbing leaves of a tree beneath the changing situation.

Let not your joy be shallow but grounded as passionately as you ground your sorrow and you will find that joy and sorrow have much in common. Allow them both their beauty but seek always the food of the Creator’s positive beauty to comfort, refresh and bless the living soul.

“Questioner: Then any mind/body complex can develop cancer as a result of anger. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.

At this time we would break our routine by making an observation. We observe the following coincidence:

Firstly, the congestion of this instrument’s throat due to the flow of mucus caused by energized allergic reaction has, at this point, become such that we may safely predict the probability/possibility vortex approaching certainty that within one-half of an hour we shall need to depart from this working.

Secondly, as we noted the above, the sound vibration made by one of your sound vibration recording devices was audible to us. If this group desires it may choose to have sessions which are brought to an ending soon after this sound vibration occurs. This decision would ensure the minimal distortions within the instrument towards the discomfort/comfort within the throat until the effects of the magical working of your fifth-density companion have been removed.”

In the questions previous to this question Don had been asking Ra as to the cause of cancer in our cat, Gandalf. Apparently the cause was Gandalf’s anger at the presence of the new cats in his environment that resulted from my bringing a cat with me when I joined Don and Carla in December of 1980. We also got another cat for a mate to the one I brought, and even though the two sets of cats were separated into different sections of the house, there was the occasional mingling of all the cats when certain doors were left open. So from this situation we received confirmation from Ra that even pets can develop cancer from experiencing unresolved anger at another pet as Ra stated in 98.9:

Questioner: I was wondering if I was correct in my assumption that the reason for the growths was a state of anger in the cat, Gandalf, because of the introduction of the newer cats into his environment. Was I correct?

Ra: I am Ra. The original cause of what you call cancer was the distortion caused by this event. The proximate cause of this growth is the nature of the distortion of the body cells which you call cancer.

After Ra had answered Don’s question they noted that the congestion in Carla’s throat was increasing to the level where they would need to end the session within half an hour. Coincidentally, one of our tape recorders clicked off at this time, and Ra said that in the future that sound could be the signal for beginning to end the session to allow for the greatest comfort of the instrument. In 99.9, Ra elaborated on the benefit of ending sessions shortly after the first tape recorder clicked off from recording for 45 minutes:

Questioner: In the previous session you mentioned the use of the forty-five minute interval of the tape recorder as a signal for ending the session. Is this still the appropriate time?

Ra: I am Ra. This is, of course, at the discretion of the questioner, for this instrument has some transferred energy and remains open, as it has unfailingly done. However, the fragility of the instrument has been more and more appreciated by us. We, in the initial observations, saw the strength of will and overestimated greatly the recuperative abilities of the physical complex of this entity.

Therefore, we may say that ending a working at approximately this amount of energy expenditure—that is, some point soon following upon the sound vibration of which you speak—would be appropriate; and insofar as we may determine, may well extend the incarnational amount of your space/time which this instrument shall be able to offer to this contact.

This morning the rain was nearly continuous for the morning, so I decided to work on my first draft of Living the Law of One 103: The Inner Work. I have been looking it over recently and decided that some of the sections are too short and that a more detailed description of the information being shared would be helpful to readers. I began with the Preface and found some areas that needed this more detailed description.

Then this afternoon, as I was coming back from my speed walk I remembered how Austin had suggested in Chapter Four of Living the Law of One 102: The Outer Work, which he and Gary are editing now, that Austin had suggested an expansion of the section on our birth families by describing some of Carla’s experiences with her birth family which were very difficult because she was trying to learn how to give without expectation of return and the problems that caused for her as a child. As I was coming home from my speed walk this afternoon I thought that maybe I should further expand that section by sharing how my mom and dad were so totally devoted to helping me be happy because of having been raised during the Great Depression and being dirt poor. They wanted to give me things that they didn’t have, so I added this information to Chapter Four.

By the way, we got an inch and a half of rain today. My gardens are jumping for joy!

Your Joy Transforms And Enables Others

I am the spirit of the living Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

Many are the shepherds whose joy in their service to the sheep has been lost, although duteously and faithfully they continue to serve.

Yet joy is all about each and every shepherd and each and every sheep. Joy is the constitution of the creation, love and peace its watchwords and its description. The shepherd who has lost joy must needs seek it again, for what one does not feel, one cannot truly express.

Take time to experience the joy of existence, the joy of interaction with others, the joy of giving and receiving, and the joy of sharing. For it is the joy in service that transforms and enables the joy in others.

Ra: I am Ra. None can be alleviated at this space/time nexus. One is located within the juncture of the right hip. Another which is very small is near the organ you call the liver. There are also small cell distortions under the, we may call it, arm (to distinguish the upper appendages) on both sides.”

Don and Carla had two cats when I joined them: Gandalf was a male Siamese, and Fairchild was a female Siamese. Before joining them, I went out to Oregon to work with the folks at Cosmic Awareness Communications, as I had been receiving their information for five years, and thought that I might want to join up with them rather than accept Don and Carla’s offer to work with them. After a couple of very enjoyable months with the folks at Cosmic Awareness Communications I got a very clear message in meditation to return to Louisville and join Don and Carla. Cosmic Awareness Communications is still active today, and this quote is from their website:

We are an Organization that has been, for more than Fifty years, devoted to helping mankind delve deeply within to discover their own divine truth, their own divine cosmic awareness. We have encouraged contemplation on right living, through such cherished notions as universal love, respect and gratitude for all others. For years we have offered information to stimulate thought on all of life’s questions:

Who am I?
Where did I come from?
Where am I going?
How can I keep my sanity in a world seemingly gone mad?
What do I teach my children?
What about the old moral values?
What is the cosmic significance of these hard times?
How do I take care of my family in light of these intensities?

While I was working at the Windsong School of Awareness in Oregon there was a Himalayan kitty that would crawl up my pant leg and sit on my shoulder when I came over to work at the school. So when I told everyone that I was returning to Kentucky, the kids gave me that little kitty to take with me. I named her Chocolate Bar and brought her with me when I joined Don and Carla. We later got a Siamese kitty, Joey Wackerbath, to be a mate for Chocolate Bar. Even though Gandalf and Fairchild stayed in the main part of the house, and Chocolate Bar and Joey stayed back in the office and bedroom area with me, there were occasions when open doors would allow the cats to mingle. Apparently Gandalf was not pleased to have the new cats in his environment, and his anger at them caused cancer in him just as unbalanced anger could, according to Ra, cause cancer in a human being. In 40.9, Ra gave the general cause of cancer:

Questioner: Has the vibration of the basic . . . of the photon, of all our particles increased in frequency already?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. It is this influence which has begun to cause thoughts to become things. As an example, you may observe the thoughts of anger becoming those cells of the physical bodily complex going out of control to become what you call the cancer.

In 98.14-.15, Ra gave the specific cause of cancer in Gandalf:

Questioner: Was it necessary for the cat, Gandalf, to be a mind/body/spirit complex harvestable third density to have the anger result in cancer?

Ra: I am Ra. No.

Questioner: Then any mind/body complex can develop cancer as a result of anger. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.

This afternoon I was on a zoom meet with Erez Batat who has a Law of One Study Group in Jerusalem, Israel. It was a question and answer session in which he had a lot of questions about various facets of the Law of One as did his study group which was located primarily in Israel but also had members in other countries. Erez is a friend from 8 or 10 years ago who used to live in Spokane, Washington and who visited me here in 2017.  We had a good time together and will probably have another zoom meet in a few months.

Peace Is Active

I am of the principle of the consciousness of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in perfect love.

Peace, I cry to you. Peace, I offer to you.

How shall you find this peace if you believe not that the spirit of the living God speaks to you this day; is available to you this moment; is a strengthener and a comforter to you in a real way, in an active way, and in a living way?

Peace is, above all things, active, not passive. The peace of the consciousness of love is an active and surpassing peace, a peace that you may feel as joy as well as peace; as power as well as peace; as harmony as well as peace. There is no such peace without the spirit of love.

Peace is not the absence of war. Peace is not the absence of spoken conflict. Gaze within your heart this day and see if you find the peace that passes understanding. If you do not have it, ask for it of the spirit that dwells within and speaks to each who wishes to hear the voice of Christ in the world today.

We come in peace and you shall be at peace, insofar as you wish it. We greet you and leave you in peace, now and ever. Amen.

“Questioner: I was wondering why the dark entity was on the right side of the card as far as the male figure, which is the Significator, is concerned, and the light white entity is on the left. If you could comment on that after making the instrument cough, please?

Ra: [Cough.] The nature of— We pause.

[Ten second pause.]

I am Ra. There was a serious pain flare. We may now continue.

The nature of polarity is interesting in that those experiences offered to the Significator as positive frequently become recorded as productive of biases which may be seen to be negative, whereas the fruit of those experiences apparently negative is frequently found to be helpful in the development of the service-to-others bias. As this is perhaps the guiding characteristic of that which the mind processes and records, these symbols of polarity have thusly been placed.

You may note that the hands of the central image indicate the appropriate bias for right- and left-hand working; that is, the right hand gestures in service to others, offering its light outward. The left hand attempts to absorb the power of the spirit and point it for its use alone.”

In this card for the Significator of the Mind, Don is puzzled as the black and white entities are reversed from the normal positions for positive/white on the right and negative/black on the left. Before Ra can answer it was necessary that they pause so that a serious pain flare in Carla’s body could dissipate. Two questions earlier Ra had asked us to re-walk the Circle of One as our negative friend had energized an allergic reaction in Carla causing a mucous flow that threatened to close her throat. In the face of such difficulties we were still able to carry on under Ra’s watchful eye, but three questions later Ra felt it was necessary to end the session because of these problems:

Questioner: Thank you. I thought that the wings at the top of the card might indicate the protection of the spirit over the process of evolution. Would Ra comment on that after having the instrument cough?

Ra: [Cough.] I am Ra. We shall end this session for we are having considerable difficulty in using the sympathetic nervous system in order to aid the instrument in providing sufficient of your air for its respiration. Therefore, we prematurely suggest ending this session.

Is there any brief query before we leave this instrument?

Before Ra made that decision to end the session, Ra said that the reversed images on both sides of the square in Card Number 5 signified the fact that the seeker of truth can use its free will to occasionally find positive lessons in seemingly negative catalyst. The seeker can also use its free will to misperceive negative lessons in positive catalyst. Then, just to be sure that we understood the correct placement of positive and negative images, Ra mentioned that the central figure in Card Number 5 makes the positive gesture in service to others with its right hand, while pointing the sword in its left hand towards personal gain. In 95.24, Ra gave an example of how negative catalyst could produce very positive results:

Questioner: From that statement I interpret the following meaning: That if the Experience of the Mind has sufficiently chosen the right-hand path—as total purity is approached in choosing of the right-hand path—then total imperviousness from the effect of the left-hand catalyst is also approached. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is exquisitely perceptive. The seeker which has purely chosen the service-to-others path shall certainly not have a variant apparent incarnational experience. There is no outward shelter in your illusion from the gusts, flurries, and blizzards of quick and cruel catalyst.

However, to the pure, all that is encountered speaks of the love and the light of the One Infinite Creator. The cruelest blow is seen with an ambiance of challenges offered and opportunities to come. Thusly, the great pitch of light is held high above such an one so that all interpretation may be seen to be protected by light.

Today was a Sabbath Day of Rest. However, because of a week of very hot and dry weather I watered the flower gardens in the side yard and in the back yard. At lunch time I took my usual errand run, stopping first at Feeder’s supply to buy canned cat food for the cats upstairs. Then I stopped at Kroger’s and then Paul’s Fruit Market to buy food for myself. My last stop was at Walgreen’s Drug Store to pick up a prescription for myself and some ice cream. I also continued editing on Chapter Four of Living the Law of One 102: The Outer Work.

The Glory Of The Son

We are those who come in the name of love and we greet you in the full consciousness of perfect love.

As you awaken you open your eyes to the glory of the sun. All radiant, as the sun kisses the Earth, it engenders life.

As you gaze upon your inner being, seek and find the Son of Man, a fully radiant being whose creative touch is perfect blessing. May you, in turn, caught between beauteous outer sun and marvelous inner Son, find inspiration to choose to be radiant also, a blessing to those upon whose presence you shine.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 97.14-.15:

“Questioner: Would—

Ra: We shall pause at this time if the questioner will be patient. There are fairly serious difficulties with the instrument’s throat. We shall attempt to ameliorate the situation and suggest the re-walking of the Circle of One.

[Cough.]

[Cough.]

[The Circle of One was re-walked and breath expelled two feet above the instrument’s head.]

I am Ra. Please continue.

Questioner: What was the nature of the problem? What caused it?

Ra: I am Ra. The fifth-density entity which greets this instrument affected a previous difficulty distorting the throat and chest area of the instrument. Some fraction of this distortion remained unmentioned by the instrument. It is helpful if the instrument speaks as clearly as possible to the support group of any difficulties that more care may be taken.

However, we find very little distortion left in the chest area of the instrument. However, immediately preceding the working the instrument was offered an extreme activation of what you may call the allergies, and the mucus from the flow which this distortion causes began to cause difficulty to the throat.

At this juncture the previous potential for the tightening of the throat was somewhat activated by reflex of the yellow-ray, chemical body over which we have only gross control.

We would appreciate your reminding us to cause this instrument to cough before or after each query for the remainder of this working. Once conscious, this instrument should have no serious difficulty.”

In the middle of this session Ra told us that there was a problem with Carla’s throat. Our negative friend had energized some of Carla’s allergies and caused a mucous flow that threatened to close her throat. The throat problem came from a rare blockage of Carl’s blue ray energy center that she experienced a couple of weeks earlier regarding her desire to help secure a new dwelling for us in Atlanta. She liked the house but was aware of elementals existing in the dirty carpets, but she did not express these feelings to Don or to me. That meant that she was blocking her blue-ray energy center and creating an opportunity for our negative friend to magnify this blockage when Carla was on a walk with me and began to have trouble breathing. Ra gave these details from 96.2:

Questioner: Could you tell me the cause of the lessening of the physical and vital energies?

Ra: I am Ra. We found the need of examining the mental configurations of the instrument before framing an answer due to our reluctance to infringe upon its free will. Those concepts relating to the spiritual contemplation of personal catalyst have been appreciated by the entity, so we may proceed.

This entity has an habitual attitude which is singular; that is, when there is some necessity for action the entity is accustomed to analyzing the catalyst in terms of service and determining a course. There was a most unusual variation in this configuration of attitude when this instrument beheld the dwelling which is to be inhabited by this group.

The instrument perceived those elementals and beings of astral character of which we have spoken. The instrument desired to be of service by achieving the domicile in question but found its instincts reacting to the unwelcome presences. The division of mind configuration was increased by the continuing catalyst of lack of control. Had this entity been able to physically begin cleansing the dwelling, the, shall we say, opening would not have occurred.

Although this entity attempted clear communication upon this matter, and although each in the support group did likewise, the amount of blue-ray work necessary to uncover and grasp the nature of the catalyst was not effected. Therefore, there was an opening quite rare for this mind/body/spirit complex, and into this opening the one which greets you moved and performed what may be considered to be the most potent of its purely magical manifestations to this present nexus, as you know time.

It is well that this instrument is not distorted towards what you may call hysteria, for the potential of this working was such that had the instrument allowed fear to become greater than the will to persevere when it could not breathe, each attempt at respiration would have been even more nearly impossible until the suffocation occurred, which was desired by the one which greets you in its own way. Thus the entity would have passed from this incarnation.

So Ra asked us to re-walk the Circle of One and expel our breath two feet above her chest from her right to her left. This was the means that we used a number of times to counter problems provided by our negative friend during Ra sessions. One of those session was 62.1 where our breath was descried in an unusual way:

Questioner: Could you tell me what was wrong, or what caused the necessity for the re-walking of the circle and the purpose of the expelling of breath?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument was under specific psychic attack at the time of the beginning of the working. There was a slight irregularity in the words verbalized by your sound complex vibratory mechanisms in the protective walking of the circle. Into this opening came this entity and began to work upon the instrument, now in trance state, as you would call it. This instrument was being quite adversely affected in physical-complex distortions.

Thus the circle was properly walked. The breath of righteousness expelled the thought-form, and the circle again walked.

I am assuming that this “righteousness” that Ra referred to was a reference to our strong desire to be of service to others and not any indication whatsoever that we were any better than anybody else.

This morning I was able to begin considering the suggested edits to my first draft of Chapter Four of Living the Law of One 102: The Outer Work. I am very grateful that Austin and Gary have been able to find time in their very busy schedule of L/L work to restart this process. Getting our new website up and running, working on the two new hires for L/L, difficult personal catalyst in both of their lives, and then needing to take the time to find and correct a multitude of errors in the latest editions of our publisher’s Law of One books had to be dealt with before getting back to editing 102 could happen.

This afternoon I used my watering wand and hose to water all of the flowers in the front yard and the side yard as our hot dry weather pattern has persisted all of this week.

The Day To Forgive

I am of the principle of love and I greet you in the full consciousness of Christ.

This is the day to forgive. Select someone, another or yourself, whom you have not forgiven and bring to bear the love of Christ which, seeing all, forgives all. Christian compassion does not deal in halfway measures but forgives utterly, so that a new life may be born where hardness of heart had created a death. Open your heart to creative and divine love this day and let it pour through you to cleanse and purify your heart.

“Questioner: The entity looks to the left, indicating that the mind has the tendency to notice more easily the negative catalyst or negative essence of its environment. Would Ra comment on that observation?

Ra: I am Ra. This is substantially correct.

Questioner: There are two small entities at the bottom of the seat, one black and one white. I would first ask Ra: is this drawing correct in the coloring? Is the black one in the proper position with respect to Ra’s original drawings?

Ra: I am Ra. That which you perceive as black was first red. Other than this difference the beings in the concept complex are placed correctly.

Questioner: The red coloration is a mystery to me then. We had originally decided that these represented polarization of the mind, either positive or negative, as its significant self would be either significant as one or the other polarity. Would Ra comment on that?

Ra: I am Ra. The indications of polarity are as presumed by the questioner. The symbolism of old for the left-hand path was the russet coloration.”

Don’s first question focuses on the entity’s face being turned to the left in Card Number Five, the Significator of the Mind. Don asks if that means that it is easier for us to notice catalyst that seems to be of a negative nature. Ra replies that this is basically correct, and when you think about it, catalyst that seems more negative in orientation does seem to stand out and grab our attention. It is more jarring and almost demands attention whereas more positively oriented catalyst seems more benign to begin with and also more easily missed. In 103.15, Ra gave more information as to why the face in this card is turned to the left:

Questioner: I am assuming that the skirt is skewed to the left for the same reason that it is in Card Number Four, indicating the distance service-to-self polarized entities keep from others. And I am also assuming that the face is turned to the left for the same reason that it is in Card Number Five, because of the nature of catalyst. Is this roughly correct?

Ra: I am Ra. Please expel breath over the breast of the instrument from right to left.

I am Ra. That is well.

Your previous supposition is, indeed, roughly correct.

We might also note that we, in forming the original images for your peoples, were using the cultural commonplaces of artistic expression of those in Egypt. The face is drawn to the side most often, as are the feet turned. We made use of this and, thus, wish to soften the significance of the side-long look. In no case thus far in these deliberations, however, has any misinterpretation or unsuitable interpretation been drawn.

Don’s second question concerns the little beings beside the square that the central figure sits within. The seem to be on the opposite sides that one would expect, for black and white usually signify negative and positive and are usually located on the eft and right respectively. But they are turned around in this image. So Don wants to know if they are in the correct position. Ra replies that they are correctly placed, but the black entity was originally red as red was the coloration of negative polarity in “days of old.” In 97.16, Ra explains how these positive and negative entities can produce either polarity:

Questioner: I was wondering why the dark entity was on the right side of the card as far as the male figure, which is the Significator, is concerned, and the light white entity is on the left. If you could comment on that after making the instrument cough, please?

Ra: [Cough.] The nature of— We pause.

[Ten second pause.]

I am Ra. There was a serious pain flare. We may now continue.

The nature of polarity is interesting in that those experiences offered to the Significator as positive frequently become recorded as productive of biases which may be seen to be negative, whereas the fruit of those experiences apparently negative is frequently found to be helpful in the development of the service-to-others bias. As this is perhaps the guiding characteristic of that which the mind processes and records, these symbols of polarity have thusly been placed.

You may note that the hands of the central image indicate the appropriate bias for right- and left-hand working; that is, the right hand gestures in service to others, offering its light outward. The left hand attempts to absorb the power of the spirit and point it for its use alone.

Don’s third question asks if these red/black and white images signify that the Significator of the Mind will eventually become one polarity or the other. Ra replies that this is correct. The polarity will be chosen according to the choices made by the conscious mind, the Matrix of the Mind. The subconscious mind also has a role here in the choice of polarity as it will guide certain catalyst to the conscious mind for its processing according to the pre-incarnative choices made by the seeker. In 94.11, Ra gives an example of how the subconscious, or deeper, mind functions to aid the conscious mind in choosing how to see catalyst:

Questioner: I have drawn a small diagram in which I simply show an arrow which represents catalyst penetrating a line at right angles to the arrow, which is the veil, and then depositing in one of two repositories: one which I would call on the right-hand path, one on the left-hand path. And I have labeled these two repositories for the catalytic action as it’s filtered through the veil “the Experience.” Would this be a very rough analogy of the way the catalyst is filtered through the veil to become experience?

Ra: I am Ra. Again, you are partially correct. The deeper biases of a mind/body/spirit complex pilot the catalyst around the many isles of positivity and negativity as expressed in the archipelago of the deeper mind. However, the analogy is incorrect in that it does not take into account the further polarization which most certainly is available to the conscious mind after it has perceived the partially polarized catalyst from the deeper mind.

This morning I was on a Zoom meet with two friends of 50 years where we caught up on what has been happening in our lives for the three weeks since our last Zoom meet. Then we continued reading Living Buddha, Living Christ by Thich Nhat Hahn and The Ra Contact: Teaching the Law of One. Two really good friends and two really good books. A good time was had by all.

This afternoon I watered all of the flower gardens in the back yard as we are in another hot and dry spell with no rain forecast until next Monday.

Stop At This Very Moment

I am the consciousness of Jesus the Christ living in the world today and I greet you in perfect love.

“Christ consciousness” is a term used by many, but how many feel that Christ consciousness within? How many seek the Christ consciousness within? How many ask for the Holy Spirit, which is that consciousness in the world today?

Stop at this very moment.

Stop and feel the beating of your heart, the pulsing of the blood in your veins, and the silence that has suddenly come upon your soul.

And then feel the consciousness within that silence. This is the spirit of love, the consciousness of Christ. It is strong. It is your heart. It is your pulse. It is your being. You have but to claim it. You have but to ask for it. The spirit of Christ is your birthright.

We are here. Seek us that you may see, this day, with eyes of love; with hands that serve; with hearts that are at peace.

“Questioner: Thank you. Card Number Five, the Significator of the Mind, indicates, firstly, as I see it, simply a male within a rectangularly structured form. This suggests to me that the Significator of the Mind in third density is well-bounded within the illusion, as is also suggested by the fact that the base of the male is a rectangular form showing no ability for movement. Would Ra comment on that?

Ra: I am Ra. O student, you have grasped the barest essence of the nature of the Significator’s complete envelopment within the rectangle. Consider for the self, O student, whether your thoughts can walk. The abilities of the most finely honed mentality shall not be known without the use of the physical vehicle which you call the body. Through the mouth the mind may speak. Through the limbs the mind may effect action.”

Looking at Card Number Five, the Significator of the mind, Don asks Ra if the fact that the entity is totally within the square is a suggestion that it is totally bounded by the third-density illusion and is unable to move. Ra’s answer suggests that Don could have gone much further in the direction that he went. Ra goes there by saying that the conscious mind cannot have any presence in the third density without a body to speak and arms and legs to move about. In 5.2 Ra, said, “The body is the creature of the mind’s creation.” This suggests that the mind was aware that it would need a vehicle in which to inhabit if it was going to make the evolutionary journey through the densities back into unity with the One Creator. In 105.14-.16, Ra expanded upon the concept of the body being necessary for our spiritual evolution:

Questioner: Then the yellow-ray body, from the very beginning, was designed as what Ra has called an athanor for the mind: a device, you might say, to accelerate the evolution of the mind. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. It is perhaps more accurate to note that the yellow-ray, physical vehicle is a necessity without which the mind/body/spirit complex cannot pursue evolution at any pace.

Questioner: Then you are saying that the evolution of that portion of the individual that is not yellow-ray is not possible without the clothing, at intervals, in the yellow-ray body. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. No.

Questioner: Would you clear up my thinking on that? I didn’t quite understand your statement.

Ra: I am Ra. Each mind/body/spirit, or mind/body/spirit complex, has an existence simultaneous with that of creation. It is not dependent upon any physical vehicle. However, in order to evolve, change, learn, and manifest the Creator, the physical vehicles appropriate to each density are necessary. Your query implied that physical vehicles accelerated growth. The more accurate description is that they permit growth.

This morning we had a channeling circle. The group question was, “Is it true that we can use the concepts of love and light for protection and, if so, how does that work? And is this protective ability of using love and light natural to us, or do we have to consciously determine how to use it?”

This afternoon I began the process of watering the flowers in my gardens since the weather has turned hot and dry again.

How Love Shows Forth

I am the principle of the love exemplified by Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

Many times those who seek the love of Christ with the most effort are those who mistake that love, thinking that it may show forth in one way instead of another. In actuality the spirit of love moves in as many ways as do those sons and daughters of the Lord who spend their lives in many and various conditions.

Love is not merely a strong and vital creative force. It also contains that subtlety which partakes of wisdom. Thus the spirit may appear in a different way for each entity. Trust that, no matter what your situation, the spirit of love is willing to transform each experience, if you invite that spirit to enter the heart of your being.

“Questioner: I find myself presently in a difficult position of decision, primarily because of the appearance of the aforementioned hawk after our return from Atlanta. The only objective of any value at all is the work that we are doing, which includes not only the contact but communication and dissemination of information to those who might request it.

Since the move was connected with that, and since the hawk was, to me, obviously a function of that process, I am at present in a quandary with respect to the optimal situation since I have not yet decided definitely on the significance of the hawk, or the advantages or efficaciousness of the move, and do not want to create a process which is basically irreversible if it is going to result in a lack of our ability to be of service to those who would seek that which we are able to manifest through our efforts here. Would Ra comment on that situation?

Ra: I am Ra. The questioner presumes much, and to comment is an infringement upon its free will. We may suggest the pondering of our previous comments regarding the wingèd creatures of which you speak. We repeat that any place of working, properly prepared by this group, is acceptable to Ra. The discrimination of choice is yours.”

This is one of many questions that Don asked Ra concerning the meaning of a very large hawk that landed just outside of our living room door right after we had returned from Atlanta to look at a house that was only three miles from the airport. We were hoping to move to this house because, as an Eastern Airlines pilot, Don was based in Atlanta, and it was starting to wear him out having to fly as a passenger from Louisville to Atlanta before he could even go to work. However, Don looked at the hawk in a way just opposite to the way we had always looked at hawks, as confirmations of our thoughts or plans. In my Camelot Journal entry from July 17, I listed all of the questions Don asked Ra and Ra’s responses, which were always trying to maintain Don’s free will by not giving him a direct answer. However, in the last two sentences of Ra’s response to this question of Don’s, Ra simply said, “We repeat that any place of working, properly prepared by this group, is acceptable to Ra. The discrimination of choice is yours.” Eventually I think that Don did come to see the real meaning of the hawk as a confirmation of our plans to move to the house south of the airport in Atlanta as it seems in 106.23:

Questioner: I would just ask if there’s anything we can do to help the instrument and make her more comfortable or improve the contact? And what would be the soonest Ra would recommend the next contact? And we would certainly—I would certainly appreciate the return of the golden hawk. It gave me great comfort.

Ra: I am Ra. You have complete freedom to schedule workings.

We suggest the nature of all manifestation to be illusory, and functional only insofar as the entity turns from shape and shadow to the One.

We finally moved to a house north of Atlanta that was out in the countryside. One day, before this session, Don was walking down the country road and saw a large golden hawk in a tree on the far side of a pasture. He even had a camera with him and took a picture of the hawk. This morning I finished the weeding in the front yard and then used my hedge clippers to trim a large arborvitae tree next to the garage so you can walk by it more easily, and then I trimmed the Red Barberry bush on the edge of the Hidden Garden in the back yard. Then I used my backpack blower to blow all of the newly fallen Sycamore tree bark out of the Moss Garden. My last job this morning was to use my big mower to mow the grass.

This afternoon I used my trimmer to trim along all of the walkways and places where the big mower couldn’t go. My last job of the day was to used my backpack blower to blow clean all of the walkways on all sides of the house. The temperature this afternoon was 96 degrees, so I occasionally sat in my car in the garage and drank some water or came into the air-conditioned house to do the same. It seems like excessive heat is a part of summer all over our country and around the world, at east in the northern hemisphere.

Open To Radiance

I am the great principle of love unbounded, the love of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in that unconditional and sacred emotion.

Dawn has thrust its rosy fingers into the night and pulled up the sun to make morning come. And now, as the mist of dawn burns away and another day begins, the sun above is radiant and generous, beaming its warmth and comfort upon all, regardless of each entity’s condition.

You are this principle, potentially, within this little lifetime that you now experience. You have within you a door to open to radiance, a door to open to the principle of unconditional and sacramental love.

Are you worthy of such love? This is not a question for you to ask. Rather have faith that love loves unconditionally and causes the unworthy one to be worthy. Know that you are in a state of forgiveness and allow the radiance of the most divine love to shine forth from you this day.

As you move through a world of shadow and sham, be the light that is true and real. You cannot make of yourself an inspiration of light and love. You can, of yourself, will to be and to manifest the love which pours through you and, as a channel, which you may pour forth in turn. We encourage you to be radiant this day, to feel the love and the peace which is yours and all entities’, now and ever.

And as we go through these cards we get a better idea of what some of these things are and how they should be drawn, and I think that we can improve greatly on the quality of the card and also remove some of the extraneous material that is misleading.

On the second card, in addition to removing the letters and stars I assume we should— At the center of the female form here, where something that looks a little like a crux ansata is, we should change that. Is that correct?

Ra: I am Ra. We perceive an incomplete query. Please re-question.

Questioner: I think that I should put a crux ansata in place of this thing that looks a little like a crux ansata on the front of the female. Is that correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.

Questioner: And as to the thing that she wears on her head—that, I believe, is a bit confusing. What should it be shaped like?

Ra: I am Ra. We shall allow the student to ponder this point. We note that although it is an astrologically based addition to the concept complex, it is not entirely unacceptable when viewed with a certain feeling. Therefore, we suggest, O student, that you choose whether to remove the crown or to name its meaning in such a way as to enhance the concept complex.”

In this series of questions Don asked Ra about certain portions of the image in Card #2, The High Priestess, or the unconscious mind. He makes the comment to begin with that he didn’t feel that we could ever remove all distortions from these cards by removing the astrological facets and the letters. This was a response to Ra’s comment in the previous question and answer where they said, “The removal of all distortions is unlikely and, to a great extent, unimportant.” Then Don asked Ra if we should put crux ansata on the chest of the High Priestess in place of the original image which faintly resembles crux ansata. Ra agreed that the crux ansata would be appropriate to put on the chest of the image. In 93.24, Ra gave a definition of the meaning of the crux ansata:

We may indicate that the crux ansata is a part of the concept complexes of the archetypical mind: the circle indicating the magic of the spirit; the cross indicating that nature of manifestation which may only be valued by the losing. Thus the crux ansata is intended to be seen as an image of the eternal in and through manifestation, and beyond manifestation, through the sacrifice and transformation of that which is manifest.

And then Don asked Ra if we should replace the quarter-moon-shaped item on the High Priestess’s head. Ra said that even though it was astrologically based that it could be interpreted in a helpful sense. Ra gave a more specific suggestion of this image in 92.28:

This symbol is not given by Ra, but it is not distasteful, for within your own culture the moon represents the feminine, the sun the masculine. Thusly we accept this portion as a portion of the image, for it seems without significant distortion.

This morning I was on a podcast with Rafa Martinelli from Uruguay, and our topic of discussion was the archetypical mind. I was able to give a basic outline as to what the archetypical mind is and how it aids our spiritual evolution. We had a good time sharing our thoughts about Ra’s time with the Egyptians where they shared the Major Arcana of the tarot as a teaching tool for studying the archetypical mind.

This afternoon I began to weed the yard, beginning with the astilbe patch in the far back corner of the back yard. I was able then to weed the rest of the back yard and the side yard around the fish pond and between the garage and fire pit.

Your Attitude Toward Change

I am the spirit set apart from the world to do the work of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

Your reaction to change sometimes resembles your reaction to an open or gaping wound. Many negative emotions are stirred. There is the fear of infection and the worry as to the progress of healing. Above all, change is seen as a negative to be endured and corrected.

The spirit of the living God does not have this vision of change. And one who dwells in the consciousness of love shall not have such a negative attitude towards change either. For when one dwells in the world, change is destructive. Yet when one dwells in love, change is sometimes challenging and always interesting and informative.

Your foundation, that upon which you stand, is that which has been before the world was, has endured through all changes, and shall endure forever. You stand on firm ground.

May your heart be at peace. May you see change peacefully. May you embrace change in peace, joy and confidence.

We come in the name of Love and open our hearts, our minds, and our souls to send love, light, and healing energies to Mother Earth as she brings forth a New Earth in fourth density. We ask that the infinite love, light, and healing energies of the One Infinite Creator heal the heart of each soul in pain on Earth tonight. May all souls on Earth feel our love, light, and healing energies in their hearts, in their minds, and in their souls. Amen.
