I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 96.14:

“Questioner: Would Ra comment on the technique of blessing the water we will use to sprinkle on the salt? I assume we just sprinkle the water directly off of our fingertips onto the line of salt. And also how much, in general, should be sprinkled on the salt? How wet we should get it? This is trivial, but I’d like to get it right.

Ra: I am Ra. The blessing of the water may be that one we have previously given, or it may be that one which is written within the liturgy of this instrument’s distortion of the worship of the One Creator, or it may simply be obtained from what you call your Catholic Church in the form of holy water.

The intention of blessing is the notable feature of blessed water. The water may be sprinkled not so that all salt is soaked, but so that a goodly portion has been dampened. This is not a physical working. The substances need to be seen in their ideal state, so that water may be seen to be enabling the salt.”

In the previous session Ra had given us instructions for how we could spiritually cleanse the house on the south side of Atlanta and make it the equivalent of a new, or virgin, dwelling that would be suitable for having the Ra contact. In 95.5, Ra gave us the general directions for how to spiritually cleanse this house:

Questioner: I am assuming that we would prepare the blessed water the same as we prepare the water for the instrument to drink after a session, and then would wipe the windows and doors with this water . . . probably have to be done in a bucket. And I would like to know if this is correct, and what was meant by salting of the windows and doors?

Ra: I am Ra. Firstly, you may bless the water yourselves or may request so-called holy water from any blessed place; that is, blessed by intention.

Secondly, the water shall be carefully shaken from the fingers along the sills of all windows and doors as they have been opened.

Thirdly, prior to the sprinkling of this cleansing, blessing sacrament of water, the salt shall be trailed along these sills in a line and, again, allowed to exist in this configuration for 36 to 48 hours.

Then the virgin broom may ritually sweep the salt out of each window and doorway, sweeping with each stroke the less fortunate of the vibrations within the dwelling which might find coexistence with your group difficult.

Ra recommended the use of “blessed water” that we would sprinkle on salt that was poured in a solid line across the bottom of all doorways and windows. Don asked Ra how wet we should get the salt, and Ra said that we should remember that this ritual was spiritually oriented and not physically oriented, so we would just need to sprinkle the water over a fair amount of the salt. Ra said that the actual blessing of the water “may be that one we have previously given” which Ra gave to us in 1.13:

The charging of the water is done by those present placing their hands over the glass and visualizing the power of love entering the water. This will charge that very effective medium with those vibrations.

However, in the end Carla felt more comfortable using a gallon of distilled water that we bought at the grocery store, and then we took it to her Episcopal Church to have her priest bless the water.

Last night and this morning we got an inch and a quarter of rain, so it is going to be a few days before I will need to water. This afternoon I sprayed the deer and rabbit repellent on all of the flowers around the yard, and so far it seems to be working. For the rest of the afternoon I went over the various concepts of the archetypical mind as I will be on a podcast tomorrow morning with a fellow who would like to talk about these concepts. I will probably begin weeding the yard tomorrow afternoon as the ground will still be quite wet and weeding will be easy.

Yours Is The Power

I am of the living spirit of love which is the fully developed consciousness of Jesus the Christ.

How very un-powerful most feel within their life structures! My children, there is no reason to feel a lack of power. Yours is the power to forgive, to have compassion and to change.

Yours is the power to right the wrong that you perceive, to bless those things for which you are grateful and to give thanks.

Yours is the power to produce within your experience and that of those who mingle with you a sense of holiness, peace, joy and sanctity, all wrapped up in the laughter and joy of unconditional love.

How powerful is the awareness of unconditional love! Never doubt that each of you is a powerful, powerful entity. Cast your allegiance and your desire toward the principle of unconditional love and ask for the Comforter. And as you strive, you shall be comforted. You shall be inspirited. You shall be nurtured.

“Questioner: Sorry to ask the unimportant question. I was thinking of the future readers, and that they would be totally mystified as to how much . . .

Was there a significance with respect to the hawk that landed the other day just outside of the kitchen window?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. We may note that we find it interesting that queries offered to us are often already known. We assume that our confirmation is appreciated.

Questioner: This seems to be connected with the concept of the birds being messengers in the tarot, and this is a demonstration of this concept in the tarot, and I was wondering about the mechanics, you might say, of this type of a message. I assume the hawk was a messenger. And I assume that as I thought of the possible meaning of this with respect to our activities I was, in the state of free will, getting a message through the appearance of this very unusual bird—unusual, I say, in that it came so close. I would be very interested to know the origin of the message. (Of course, the origin is the One Creator.) The mechanics of this are very mystifying to me. Would Ra comment on this, please?

Ra: I am Ra. No.

Questioner: I was afraid that you would say that. Am I correct in assuming that this is the same type of communication as depicted in Card Number Three in the Catalyst of the Mind?

Ra: I am Ra. We may not comment due to the Law of Confusion. There is an acceptable degree of confirmation of items known, but when the recognized subjective sigil is waived and the message not clear, then it is that we must remain silent.”

In this series of questions Don asked Ra about a very large hawk that landed a few feet outside of the door that led to our living room just after we had walked into our house. We had just arrived home after flying to Atlanta to see the house that we were preparing to move to. We thought the house was right for a place for us to move to because it was just three miles from the airport in Atlanta and would make it very easy for Don to go to work as an Eastern Airlines pilot based in Atlanta. So Don asked Ra if there was a significance to this hawk. Right away that told me that Don was not perceiving the hawk as we always had perceived all hawks. For us, hawks had always been a symbol of confirmation of a train of thought or possible plans for action. So I was not surprised that Ra said that there was a significance to the hawk. Then they said that they found it interesting that “queries offered to us are often already known. We assume that our confirmation is appreciated.” This statement told me that they had not scanned Don’s mind because, apparently Don had already interpreted the hawk to mean that we should not move to that house in Atlanta. In 97.3. Don again asked Ra about this hawk and associated its meaning with the bird in Card Three of the tarot:

Questioner: I’ve been doing some consideration of the appearance of the hawk and have made this analysis of the bird in Card Three:

The bird is a message from the higher self, and the position of the wings in Card Three, one wing pointing toward the female, indicates that it is a message to the female acting as catalyst for the mind. The position of the downward wing indicates that the message is of a negative nature, or of a nature indicating the inappropriateness of certain mental activity or plan. Would Ra comment on that?

Ra: I am Ra. No.

Then again in 97.5, Don asked Ra about the hawk, and Ra gave Don a kind of riddle to solve as their answer:

Questioner: I have analyzed the hawk that I saw immediately after returning from the house in Atlanta as a message (most probably from my higher self) indicating that the plan of moving was not the best, was not too appropriate since, without the hawk, everything would have continued as planned with no added catalyst. This single catalyst of a remarkable nature then, logically, from my point of view, could only mean that there was a message as to the inappropriateness of the plan for some reason yet to be discovered. Would Ra comment on that?

Ra: I am Ra. We tread as close as possible to the Law of Confusion in suggesting that not all wingèd creatures have an archetypical meaning. We might suggest that the noticing of shared subjectively notable phenomena is common when, in another incarnational experience, work significant to the service of increased polarity has been shared.

These subjectively interesting shared phenomena then act as a means of communication, the nature of which cannot be discussed by those outside of the shared incarnational experience without the interference with the free will of each entity involved in the complex of subjectively meaningful events.

But in 97.7, Don continued to question Ra about the hawk:

Questioner: I find myself presently in a difficult position of decision, primarily because of the appearance of the aforementioned hawk after our return from Atlanta. The only objective of any value at all is the work that we are doing, which includes not only the contact but communication and dissemination of information to those who might request it.

Since the move was connected with that, and since the hawk was, to me, obviously a function of that process, I am at present in a quandary with respect to the optimal situation since I have not yet decided definitely on the significance of the hawk, or the advantages or efficaciousness of the move, and do not want to create a process which is basically irreversible if it is going to result in a lack of our ability to be of service to those who would seek that which we are able to manifest through our efforts here. Would Ra comment on that situation?

Ra: I am Ra. The questioner presumes much, and to comment is an infringement upon its free will. We may suggest the pondering of our previous comments regarding the wingèd creatures of which you speak. We repeat that any place of working, properly prepared by this group, is acceptable to Ra. The discrimination of choice is yours.

You will notice in the last two sentences of Ra’s response to Don’s question that Ra cut to the chase and said that “any place of working, properly prepared by this group, is acceptable to Ra.” That statement should have been enough to assure Don that there was no problem with the house that we had just seen in Atlanta. Looking back now I feel that this misinterpretation of the hawk’s meaning signaled the beginning of the difficulties that would eventually lead to Don’s decline. We eventually moved to a house north of Atlanta which, because of the distance from the airport and the heavy traffic all around Atlanta, took Don as long to drive to the airport as flying there from Louisville took.

This was another Sabbath Day of Rest. Because of a week with no rain I was planning not to rest today but to water my flower gardens. However, we got rain off and on throughout the day which did allow me to rest and enjoy answering emails, meditating, and reading the more of the Ra material. I made my usual errand run at noon with my first stop being Feeder’s Supply where I bought canned cat food for the cats upstairs and birdseed for the bird feeder outside of the living room window. My second stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market where I bought some food for myself. My last stop was at Walgreen’s where I bought some non-food items and a little ice cream.

The Attitude Of St. Patrick

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and greet you in the full consciousness of love.

Sometimes it is difficult to know how to move in the spirit instead of stumbling in the darkness of the mundane world. Yet we say to you that that dark world is illuminated for those who have eyes to see the light that is in all things and all circumstances.

Let your attitude be that of St. Patrick, who armored himself in Christ before, behind, above and beneath. Wearing the armor of Christ’s love, he and you may find a changed and renewed mundane world.

Allow love to speak to the love within you, and you will soon find that you may tabernacle with the Creator in any and all circumstances through faith.

“Questioner: The possibility of the legs of the entity of Card Four being at approximate right angles was linked with the tesseract—mentioned in a much earlier session by Ra—as the direction of transformation from space/time into time/space, and I was thinking that possibly it was also linked with the crux ansata. Am I in any way correct with this observation?

Ra: I am Ra. This shall be the last query of this working as transferred energy wanes.

The observation of the right angles and their transformational meaning is most perceptive, O student. Each of the images leading to the Transformations of Mind, Body, and Spirit—and ultimately to the great transformative Choice—has the increasing intensity of increasing articulation of concept; that is to say, each image in which you find this angle may increasingly be seen to be a more and more stridently calling voice of opportunity to use each resource—be it Experience as you now observe, or further images—for the grand work of the adept which builds towards transformation using the spirit’s bountiful shuttle to intelligent infinity.

Please ask any brief queries at this space/time.”

In this question Don is asking Ra if the tesseract that had previously been related to the crux ansata and the transformation from space/time into time/space was also related to the crossed legs of the entity in Card Four, The Experience of the Mind. The tesseract was previously defined as a cube which had developed a fourth dimension, so it is transformational in nature. And the crux ansata also gives us the feeling of transformation as Ra said in 93.24:

We may indicate that the crux ansata is a part of the concept complexes of the archetypical mind: the circle indicating the magic of the spirit; the cross indicating that nature of manifestation which may only be valued by the losing. Thus the crux ansata is intended to be seen as an image of the eternal in and through manifestation, and beyond manifestation, through the sacrifice and transformation of that which is manifest.

Ra notes that Don is “most perceptive,” and that wherever the crossed legs may be found in the tarot images it may be assumed that this crossing of legs offers more and more opportunities for the adept to be transformed into a more light-filled, unitive being. The transformations are many for the adept, and eventually the product of all these preparatory transformations is the great transformation that occurs when the adept, “using the spirit’s bountiful shuttle to intelligent infinity,” experiences union with intelligent infinity, or the One Infinite Creator. In 30.2, Ra describes the process by which this contact with intelligent infinity occurs:

Questioner: Thank you. Would you define mind, body, and spirit separately?

Ra: I am Ra. These terms are all simplistic descriptive terms which equal a complex of energy focuses; the body, as you call it, being the material of the density which you experience at a given space/time or time/space; this complex of materials being available for distortions of what you would call physical manifestation.

The mind is a complex which reflects the inpourings of the spirit and the up-pourings of the body complex. It contains what you know as feelings, emotions, and intellectual thoughts in its more conscious complexities. Moving further down the tree of mind we see the intuition, which is of the nature of the mind more in contact, or in tune, with the total beingness complex. Moving down to the roots of mind we find the progression of consciousness which gradually turns from the personal to the racial memory to the cosmic influxes, and thus becomes a direct contactor of that  which we call the spirit complex.

This spirit complex is the channel whereby the inpourings from all of the various universal, planetary, and personal inpourings may be funneled into the roots of consciousness, and whereby consciousness may be funneled to the gateway of intelligent infinity through the balanced intelligent energy of body and mind.

You will see by this series of definitive statements that mind, body, and spirit are inextricably intertwined and cannot continue, one without the other. Thus we refer to the mind/body/spirit complex rather than attempting to deal with them separately, for the work, shall we say, that you do during your experiences is done through the interaction of these three components, not through any one.

Today would have been Carla’s 79^th birthday, and this morning I was a guest speaker via a zoom meeting with the Richmond, Virginia IONS group (International Organization of Noetic Sciences.) I shared a great variety of information about the Law of One, the Ra contact, Don, Carla, myself, wanderers, the densities of creation and the process of polarizing the consciousness as well as many other topics.

This afternoon I made my monthly visit to a dear friend of Carla’s and mine who has been in a care home in southern Indiana for the last three years due to two strokes she had in 2019. We enjoyed some dessert I brought in the form of chocolate ice cream on snickerdoodle cake. I also read more to her from one of her favorite books, Ascended Masters and Archangels, by Doreen Virtue. We ended my visit with a meditation which we both enjoyed.

Do You Walk Too Quickly?

I am of the principle of the spirit of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

Where are your steps leading you this day? Do you walk too quickly to keep in contact with the spirit of love? Shall the mind desire love to follow and surround the experience of the day?

It is tempting to allow the consciousness of love to slide away from one as the load of mundane detail causes the pace to quicken and quicken. The busy mind cannot stop and ask for love, for it is too busy taking care of mundane business.

Yet the spirit is in constant association with you and may make itself known at any time it is called. No matter how quickly you are running this day, we ask that you turn in mind and heart to love and ask that all things that you see and do be seen first and done always in love.

“Questioner: From that statement I interpret the following meaning: That if the Experience of the Mind has sufficiently chosen the right-hand path—as total purity is approached in choosing of the right-hand path—then total imperviousness from the effect of the left-hand catalyst is also approached. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is exquisitely perceptive. The seeker which has purely chosen the service-to-others path shall certainly not have a variant apparent incarnational experience. There is no outward shelter in your illusion from the gusts, flurries, and blizzards of quick and cruel catalyst.

However, to the pure, all that is encountered speaks of the love and the light of the One Infinite Creator. The cruelest blow is seen with an ambiance of challenges offered and opportunities to come. Thusly, the great pitch of light is held high above such an one so that all interpretation may be seen to be protected by light.”

In this question Don asked Ra if the Experience of the Mind is chosen more purely on the right-hand path, then the seeker would become impervious from the effect of left-hand catalyst. Ra replied Don’s assumption was “exquisitely perceptive.” Ra added that all seekers will experience “blizzards of quick and cruel catalyst,” but then Ra said the more purely one has chosen the positive path that all catalyst “speaks of the love and the light of the One Infinite Creator.” Ra is suggesting that such purity sees the Creator in all catalyst, and that all interpretations of catalyst by the seeker is “protected by light.” Ra and Don set up this way of seeing catalyst as positive in 95.23:

Questioner: What I meant to say was that the entity is guarded along the right-hand path (once it is chosen) from effects of the material illusion that are of a negative polarity. Would Ra comment on that?

Ra: I am Ra. This is an accurate perception of our intent, O student. We may note that the great cat guards in direct proportion to the purity of the manifestations of intention and the purity of inner work done along this path.

In 10.14, Ra gave the nature of our experience in the third density that can result in such a purity in our processing of difficult catalyst:

The moment contains love. That is the lesson/goal of this illusion or density. The exercise is to consciously seek that love in awareness and understanding-distortions. The first attempt is the cornerstone. Upon this choosing rests the remainder of the life-experience of an entity. The second seeking of love within the moment begins the addition. The third seeking powers the second, the fourth powering or doubling the third. As with the previous type of empowerment, there will be some loss of power due to flaws within the seeking in the distortion of insincerity. However, the conscious statement of self to self of the desire to seek love is so central an act of will that, as before, the loss of power due to this friction is inconsequential.

Carla was a good example of this type of seeing catalyst in a positive sense. A number of times in her life Carla found herself bed-bound and in excruciating pain. But always her prayer was, “If I live, I live in Christ. If I die, I die I Christ. So whether I live or die, I am in Christ and His Love.”

This afternoon I pumped a quarter of the water out of the fish pond and then refilled it with fresh water. While the water was pumping out I cleaned the filters for the fountain. The water pumped out quicker than usual because I noticed silt had accumulated on the bottom of the pump where it sucks the water out of the pond, and that made pumping the water out go much quicker. While the pond was refilling I fertilized each of the nine pots of water lilies and then replaced all of the netting and long extension cord with which I cover all the sides of the pond to keep raccoons from getting in the pond and eating the fish. Then I vacuumed the first floor of the house as I always do on Friday afternoons.

Hollowed Out By Circumstances

I am of the principle of living love and I greet you in the full consciousness of that love.

It may seem to you that you are hollowed out by circumstances, circumstances that squeeze the life from heart and soul so that all that remains is a hollow reed.

Indeed, many times the work of the spirit contains this facet or phase, for there are times when, in order to progress in service, one must hollow out the channel of the self, removing stumbling blocks to one’s capacity for joy and life.

When the student finds the mark and imprint of love through trust and faith within these situations, then does the spirit enter more and more to make, of unhappiness, perfect peace.

“Questioner: I have often wondered about the action of random and programmed catalyst with respect to the entity with the very strong positive or negative polarization. Would one or either be free to a great extent from random catalyst occurring such as great natural catastrophes, or warfare, or something like that that generates a lot of random catalyst in the physical vicinity of a highly polarized entity? Does this great cat, then, have effect on such random catalyst upon the right-hand path?

Ra: I am Ra. In two circumstances this is so:

Firstly, if there has been the pre-incarnative choice that, for instance, one shall not take life in the service of the cultural group, events shall fall in a protective manner.

Secondly, if any entity is able to dwell completely in unity, the only harm that may occur to it is the changing of the outward physical, yellow-ray vehicle into the more light-filled mind/body/spirit complex’s vehicle by the process of death. All other suffering and pain is as nothing to one such as this.

We may note that this perfect configuration of the mind, body, and spirit complexes while within the third-density vehicle is extraordinarily rare.”

In this question Don asks Ra just how much the cat in the square in Card Number Four, The Experience of the Mind, can guard the strongly polarized positive entity. He asks if this cat protects such a seeker from strong random catalyst like warfare or natural disasters? Basically, Ra said yes, with some qualification. Ra suggested that any pre-incarnative choice like refusing to take another’s life in war will see events occur that will protect this choice. My father was an example of this kind of protection. During WWII, he was a supply sergeant in the Army, and one day a box of boots fell on his shoulder from the top shelf in the area where he was working and broke his clavicle, which rendered him unfit for active duty.

The second possibility Ra spoke of is if a seeker lives completely in unity with all, the only harm to such an entity would be its body’s death, and all other suffering would be “as nothing to such an one as this” and be borne with the “light and gladsome armor of faith and will.” In 95.24, Ra gave another example of such pure seeking and its protection for the seeker:

Questioner: From that statement I interpret the following meaning: That if the Experience of the Mind has sufficiently chosen the right-hand path—as total purity is approached in choosing of the right-hand path—then total imperviousness from the effect of the left-hand catalyst is also approached. Though Ra did not speak to the negative path as having protection or not in this answer, they did so in 95.26:

Questioner: Am I to understand, then, that there is no protection at all if the Experience of the Mind has become negative and the negative path is traveled? All random catalyst may affect the negatively polarized individual as a function of the statistical nature of the random catalyst. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. You may note some of those of your peoples which, at this space/time nexus, seek places of survival. This is due to the lack of protection when service to self is invoked.

This morning I went back to Thieneman’s Nursery, and I bought 48 liriope with light green and striped leaves and purple blooms to put in the triangular area close to the cross in the back yard. The ones I bought to transplant next to the fish pond have dark green leaves, so now I have two varieties of liriope. I began the transplanting in the morning and finished it in the afternoon. Then I watered the new liriope plus the flowers and azalea bushes in the rest of the back yard. My last job was to use my chain saw to cut down an Oak leaf hydrangea in the back yard which had been slowly dying this summer. I also cut down a large honeysuckle branch that covers the Hosta in the hidden garden. My final chainsaw work was to cut back the Elderberry bushes growing in the area where we put our porta-potty during our Homecoming Gatherings.

In Love With Life

I am the spirit of the living Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of Godly love.

We find two of your kittens, who normally have differences, sleeping peacefully, side by side upon the lap of this channel. Such is the peace that passeth understanding. One may see the same thing in two people who have not yet been tested by adversity and who are attracted to each other, happy and excited and full of good feelings.

When adversity occurs and misunderstandings happen, the kittens play with sharpened claws. The human spirit retreats in bewilderment and strikes out in anger. Think with all your heart of the way it feels to open the eyes and see nothing but beauty. This is what it is to be in love with life.

Sharpen the eyesight, retract the claws, and allow the grace of the Holy Spirit within your life to lift from you the anger, the fear, the desolation, the guilt, and the despair. We turn you from those at odds with life to those in love with life.

You can be the same person and move from one position to the other. It is only necessary to ask persistently for the aid of the spirit of the full consciousness of love.

“Questioner: And it seems that the square upon which the entity sits, which is almost totally black, is a representation of the material illusion, and the white cat is guarding the right-hand path which is now separated in experience from the left. Would Ra comment on that observation?

Ra: I am Ra. O student, your sight almost sees that which was intended. However, the polarities need no guardians. What, then, O student, needs the guard?

Questioner: What I meant to say was that the entity is guarded along the right-hand path (once it is chosen) from effects of the material illusion that are of a negative polarity. Would Ra comment on that?

Ra: I am Ra. This is an accurate perception of our intent, O student. We may note that the great cat guards in direct proportion to the purity of the manifestations of intention and the purity of inner work done along this path.”

In Card Number Four, the Experience of the Mind, Don is saying that the square that the entity sits on represents the material illusion, and Ra agrees. Then Don states that the cat which is located within the square guards the right hand path which by now has been separated from the left hand path. Ra asks Don to think again as the right hand path does not need a guard. So Ra asks who needs the guard? Don recovers quickly and restates his supposition that the seeker along the right hand path is protected from the effects of the negative polarity. Ra agrees with Don’s supposition. Back in 94.16, Ra first spoke of the square in Card Number Four as representing the material illusion and the cat which guards the right hand path was also first mentioned in this quote:

Questioner: Experience is seated on the square of the material illusion which is colored much darker than in Card Number Three. However, there is a cat inside this. I am guessing that as experience is gained the second-density nature of the illusion is understood, and the negative and positive aspects are separated. Would Ra comment on this?

Ra: I am Ra. This interpretation varies markedly from Ra’s intention. We direct the attention to the cultural meaning of the great cat which guards. What, O student, does it guard? And with what oriflamme does it lighten that darkness of manifestation?

The polarities are, indeed, present; the separation nonexistent except through the sifting which is the result of cumulative experience. Other impressions were intended by this configuration of the seated image with its milk-white leg and its pointed foot.

Then Ra elaborates upon the nature of this protection for the service-to-others seeker. Ra says that the great cat guards “in direct proportion to the purity of the manifestations of intention and the purity of inner work done along this path.” So the more purely that we attempt to seek the truth the more the great cat will provide protection for us on our journey of seeking to know the truth in order to serve others better. From 99.11, Ra spoke of that purity of seeking:

We encourage the conscious strengthening of those invisible ribands which fly from the wrists of those who go forward to seek what you may call the Grail. All is well, my friends. We leave you in hopes that each may find true colors to fly in that great metaphysical quest and urge each to urge each other in love, praise, and thanksgiving.

In 92.32-.33, Ra spoke again regarding the protection offered to those on the positive path:

Questioner: We have taken those as indicating the fertility of the subconscious mind. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct, O student, but note ye the function of the mantle. There is great protection given by the very character of potentiation. To bear fruit is a protected activity.

Questioner: The protection here seems to be depicted as being on the right-hand side but not the left. Would this indicate greater protection for the positive path than the negative?

Ra: I am Ra. You perceive correctly an inborn bias offering to the seeing eye and listing ear information concerning the choice of the more efficient polarity.

I would like to let you all know that Gary attended a 10-day vipassana meditation retreat last March outside of Fresno, CA. This morning I went back to Thienaman’s and bought another 10 liriope to complete the transplanting where the day lilies used to be on the west side of the fish pond.  This afternoon I went to a little garden beside the cross area that is in a triangular shape about 12 feet on a side and used my trimmer to cut back the day lilies in this area that are also not doing well. Then I used my garden tiller to till the ground in hopes that I can find some perennial bushes that might do well in this area tomorrow. My next job was to use my hake to till the flowers along the parking area, the Flower Mound, and the Wuthering Heights Mound in the front yard. Then I used my watering wand to water the flowers along the parking area and on Wuthering Heights.

The Universe Of Good

I am of the principle of love and I greet you in the full consciousness of that love.

“Questioner: In Card Four in the last session we spoke of the shape of the skirt, and it has occurred to us that the skirt of the entity representing the archetype of Experience is extended to the left to indicate that other-selves would not be able to get close to this entity if it had chosen the left-hand path. There would be a greater separation between it and other-selves. Whereas if it had chosen the right-hand path there would be much less of a separation. Would Ra comment on that observation?

Ra: I am Ra. The student is perceptive.”

Card Number Four, The Experience of the Mind, shows a male wearing a skirt that has a very long extension to the entity’s left side and a short extension to the right side. Don asks Ra if this long extension to the left might indicate that if the seeker chooses the service-to-self path it would be separating itself from all others around it. Ra gave Don yet another “perceptive” along with affirming Don’s assumption. In 54.19, Ra gives a simple definition of the service-to-self path:

Questioner: In the case of service-to-self polarization, what type of catalyst would entities following this path program when they reach the level of programming their own catalyst?

Ra: I am Ra. The negatively oriented entity will program for maximal separation from, and control over, all those things and conscious entities which it perceives as being other than the self.

In a previous session Ra described the skirt that this figure wears as “habiliment,” which the dictionary defines as “clothing.” We counted nearly 200 words of this nature which Ra used during the Ra contact, words for which we had to look up the meanings. Each of us had very good vocabularies and Carla was an English major as well. We thought that this was indicative of how Ra would choose the most accurate words in all of their communications with us. In 21.2, Don asked Ra if they used Carla’s vocabulary:

Questioner: A little appendage to this: Do you use your vocabulary or the instrument’s vocabulary to communicate with us?

Ra: I am Ra. We use the vocabulary of the language with which you are familiar. This is not the instrument’s vocabulary. However, this particular mind/body/spirit complex retains the use of a sufficiently large number of sound vibration complexes that the distinction is often without any importance.

This morning I finished trimming the back yard and then used my backpack blower to blow clean all walkways around the house. Then I used my garden tiller to till the day lily garden on the west side of the fish pond. The day lilies have not done well there this summer, so I decided to find another perennial plant to take their place. I went to Theineman’s Nursery and bought 30 liriope and planted them in this area. It looks like I will need to buy 10 more tomorrow to complete the job.

Blame And Forgiveness

I am of the principle of divine love and I greet you in the consciousness of Jesus the Christ.

We would speak with you this day about blame and forgiveness.

It is a natural faculty of humankind to discriminate, discern and judge betwixt all manner of experience in order to make choices and decisions. This is a proper use of the tools and resources which the Father has given to all His children.

There is, however, a dark and unpleasant side to discrimination. That is discrimination practiced with regard to the actions of others upon others which one watches as a witness. Shall you, as witness, blame and find judgment?

We trust and hope that the spirit of the living God may, by grace, open you in these trying moments to the power and consolation of prayerful attention. For in an attitude of prayerful attention it is desired only that the will of the Father be done. Thanksgiving is then given that all is, indeed, well and will be well.

These positive affirmations give a supernal peace to the witness and place those in dispute within the bright light of forgiveness and prayer. May you be an agent of peace by the power of the Holy Spirit and not an agent of blame and judgment. May you find, preserve and share the peace that does indeed pass the understanding of humankind.

It is in this peace and compassion that we leave you, now and ever. Amen.

“Questioner: Thank you. In the last session you made a statement about the immature male meeting the female with respect to what occurred because of the veil: that the information exchange was quite different. Would you give an example of the information exchange prior to the veil for this same case, please?

Ra: I am Ra. Given this same case—that is, the random red-ray sexual arousal being activated in both male and female—the communication would far more likely have been to the subject of the satisfying of that red-ray, sexual impulse. When this had occurred other information such as the naming could be offered with clear perception.

It is to be noted that the catalyst which may be processed by the pre-veil experience is insignificant compared to the catalyst offered to the thoroughly bemused male and female after the veil. The confusion which this situation, simplistic though it is, offers is representative of the efficiency of the enlargement of the catalytic processes occurring after the veiling.”

Ra mentioned in the previous session that the young, good-looking male and female, with the veil of forgetting in place, who were attracted to each other would likely talk about all kinds of things other than being sexually attracted to each other. Much catalyst could be generated without speaking to the point of the attraction as Ra said in 94.10:

Questioner: From the previous session the statement was made that much is veiled to the most apparently clear observation. Would Ra expand on what was meant by that statement? I assume that this means the veiling of all of that that is outside the limits of what we call our physical perception having to do with the spectrum of light, etc., but I also intuit there is more than that veiled. Would Ra expand on that concept?

Ra: I am Ra. You are perceptive in your supposition. Indeed, we meant not any suggestions that the physical apparatus of your current illusion were limited as part of the veiling process. Your physical limits are as they are.

However, because of the unique biases of each mind/body/spirit complex, there are sometimes quite simple instances of distortion when there is no apparent cause for such distortion. Let us use the example of the virile and immature male who meets and speaks clearly with a young female whose physical form has the appropriate configuration to cause, for this male entity, the activation of the red-ray sexual arousal.

The words spoken may be upon a simple subject such as naming, information as to the occupation, and various other common interchanges of sound vibratory complex. The male entity, however, is using almost all the available consciousness it possesses in registering the desirability of the female. Such may also be true of the female.

Thusly an entire exchange of information may be meaningless because the actual catalyst is of the body. This is unconsciously controlled and is not a conscious decision. This example is simplistic.

In this question Don asked if Ra could give an example of how this same situation would have been handled by the sexually attracted male and female before the veil of forgetting was in place. Ra said that before the veil the same two entities would be far more likely to get to the point of their attraction for each other and satisfy their sexual impulses. This situation illustrates once again how effective the veil of forgetting is in producing catalyst for third-density entities. With more catalyst to work with, post-veil seekers have a greater opportunity to polarize their consciousness either positively or negatively because using catalyst, and trying to gain clarity for a situation, is another way of describing the process of polarization. In 31.7, Ra described the basic situation of how this situation develops in the third density:

Questioner: Thank you. In the material earlier you mentioned “magnetic attraction.” Could you define and expand upon that term?

Ra: I am Ra. We used the term to indicate that in your bisexual natures there is that which is of polarity. This polarity may be seen to be variable according to the, shall we say, male/female polarization of each entity, be each entity biologically male or female. Thus you may see the magnetism when two entities with the appropriate balance, male/female versus female/male polarity, meeting and thus feeling the attraction which polarized forces will exert, one upon the other.

This is the strength of the bisexual mechanism. It does not take an act of will to decide to feel attraction for one who is oppositely polarized sexually. It will occur in an inevitable sense, giving the free flow of energy a proper, shall we say, avenue. This avenue may be blocked by some distortion towards a belief/condition which states to the entity that this attraction is not desired. However, the basic mechanism functions as simply as would, shall we say, the magnet and the iron.

This morning I used my trimmer to weed the Moss Garden. Then I used my big mower to mow the grass which had grown quite a bit after our latest rains. In the afternoon I went back outside and got a good start on trimming the yard where the mower couldn’t go. I got the side yard and front yard done and a good beginning in the corner of the back yard around the bird feeder.

Never Run Too Fast

I am of the principle of love and greet you in that love.

We find that the minds of those who seek us this day are fretted and worried, so that there is only a very tenuous contact betwixt the spirit of love and those who seek it. It is very difficult for us to make it known to those who move fast and are upset.

But we are indeed with each, regardless of circumstances or where the mind is placed. Indeed, no matter how quickly the day goes or how upset you may become because of the circumstances of the day, we are with you. Love does not leave you, but, rather, the upset and worried personality forgets to open and request that the spirit of Christ enter in.

We hope you never run so fast or feel so out of sorts that you forget to open to love, for that love may transform, not the circumstances, but the feelings about them.

Ra: I am Ra. It is a specialized form of this meaningful shape. It is specialized in great part due to the nature of the crossed legs of manifestation which we have previously discussed.”

In this question Don asked Ra if the bird within the circle of the entity in Card Four, The Experience of the Mind, has the same meaning as the circular part of the crux ansata. Ra replied by saying that this particular circle is a “specialized form” of the crux ansata. Ra elaborated on this shape being specialized because of the “crossed legs of manifestation” which Ra had discussed in the previous question, 94.26:

Questioner: I’ll have to work on that.

Then I am guessing that the crossed legs of the entity in Card Four have a meaning similar to the cross of the crux ansata. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. The cross formed by the living limbs of the image signifies that which is the nature of mind/body/spirit complexes in manifestation within your illusion. There is no experience which is not purchased by effort of some kind—no act of service to self or others which does not bear a price to the entity manifesting, commensurate with its purity.

All things in manifestation may be seen in one way or another to be offering themselves in order that transformations may take place upon the level appropriate to the action.

This quote suggests that both positive and negative entities must pursue as pure a path as possible in their chosen polarities in order to achieve correspondingly pure transformations in higher and higher energy centers.

In 93.24, Ra gave the basic definition of the crux ansata as being that of transformation:

We may indicate that the crux ansata is a part of the concept complexes of the archetypical mind: the circle indicating the magic of the spirit; the cross indicating that nature of manifestation which may only be valued by the losing. Thus the crux ansata is intended to be seen as an image of the eternal in and through manifestation, and beyond manifestation, through the sacrifice and transformation of that which is manifest.

Today was a Sabbath Day of Rest, and I spent a goodly part of the morning communicating with various friends via email. Many were sending condolences for my loss of Chloe and Dan D. Lion. I am so grateful to each one as this seems to be a significant part of the grieving process: to talk about the loss and see it from various perspectives of those offering their condolences. After lunch I took my usual errand run, stopping first at Walmart to buy more deer repellant and some Garden Safe Spray to use on my perennial Giant Hibiscus as there seems to be some kind of bug that has begun chewing some of the topmost leaves on a few of the plants. My next stop was at Feeder’s Supply to buy three cases of canned cat food for the three cats upstairs that I inherited from Dana. My last stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market to buy some food for myself. In the latter part of the afternoon I continued more email correspondence with friends regarding Dan D. and Chloe.

Be The Light

I am the principle of divine love. I greet you in the full consciousness of that love which is in Jesus the Christ.

You, as you gaze at yourself, cannot see that you are the light of the world. Disturbed with your own difficulties, confused about priorities, and in general bogged down in the waste, the paperwork, and the uselessness of many daily activities, it is easy to forget and it is easy to relinquish your birthright.

Your birthright is to be sons and daughters of the one infinite Creator. You are the light of the world. Know and feel this in your heart. Know that through the grace of this principle which we represent, all your efforts shall be comforted and supported.

Do not think too little of yourself. Be the light of the world in gladness, joy and singleness of mind and heart. Remember that which you are here to do: love each other. May you shine with the radiance of the Christ.

In this question Don asked Ra if the crossed legs of the entity in Card Number Four, the Experience of the Mind, have a meaning similar to the cross of the crux ansata. Ra agreed and went on to say that all of our experiences within the third-density illusion require an effort or “a price” that is in relation to the purity of the act, whether of service to others or service to self. Ra continued their response by saying that everything in the third density offers itself to aid transformations of the seeker of truth that corresponds with the level appropriate to the action, which I would take to mean which energy centers were utilized in the effort. In 93.24, Ra gave the basic meaning of the crux ansata:

Questioner: I am assuming that you mean one full question, and I’ll make that question: I’d like to know the significance of the shape of the crux ansata, and if that’s too much of an answer I will just ask if there is anything we can do to make the instrument more comfortable or improve the contact?

Ra: I am Ra. There are mathematical ratios within this image which may yield informative insights to one fond of riddles. We shall not untangle the riddle.

We may indicate that the crux ansata is a part of the concept complexes of the archetypical mind: the circle indicating the magic of the spirit; the cross indicating that nature of manifestation which may only be valued by the losing. Thus the crux ansata is intended to be seen as an image of the eternal in and through manifestation, and beyond manifestation, through the sacrifice and transformation of that which is manifest.

And in 95.27, Ra elaborated on the transformative nature of the crux ansata:

Questioner: The possibility of the legs of the entity of Card Four being at approximate right angles was linked with the tesseract—mentioned in a much earlier session by Ra—as the direction of transformation from space/time into time/space, and I was thinking that possibly it was also linked with the crux ansata. Am I in any way correct with this observation?

Ra: I am Ra. This shall be the last query of this working as transferred energy wanes.

The observation of the right angles and their transformational meaning is most perceptive, O student. Each of the images leading to the Transformations of Mind, Body, and Spirit—and ultimately to the great transformative Choice—has the increasing intensity of increasing articulation of concept; that is to say, each image in which you find this angle may increasingly be seen to be a more and more stridently calling voice of opportunity to use each resource—be it Experience as you now observe, or further images—for the grand work of the adept which builds towards transformation using the spirit’s bountiful shuttle to intelligent infinity.

This morning I continued weeding the yard by beginning in the gardens around the fish pond. After looking at how poorly the day lilies are doing in the garden on the west side of the fish pond I decided it would be better if I dug up that garden and found some other perennial bushes or flowers for it sometime next week. Then I weeded the day lily garden on the east side of the fish pond and was glad to see that it is doing fairly well. I continued my weeding of the two gardens in front of the fish pond.

This afternoon I weeded the area between the garage and the fire pit and then focused my weeding on getting the larger weeds pulled out of the moss garden as recent rains allowed me to pull them out by their roots and not have to deal with them again in the future. Then I moved to the front yard and weeded the Wuthering Heights Mound. My last weeding of the day was to use my trimmer to weed the Ruins Mound between the house and the garage. I completed the day’s work by spraying the Deer and Rabbit Fence on all of the gardens in the yard.

Awaiting The Host’s Invitation

I am of those who shower this world with the ever-creative love of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the consciousness of love.

That consciousness flowers when it will, as the world calls for it and requires it. That consciousness is called by desire. That consciousness dwells as the guest within the house, awaiting the host’s invitation to join in the conversation at table.

At times your experience may that of the banquet and at other times that of starvation fare. Yet always the manna of divine thought is there in full supply to fill the hearts and minds of those who seek beyond banquet and hunger to that food which is given every day for the transformation of the self and the renewal of all of humankind.

We leave you in the peace of constant, divine love. Whatever your circumstance this is yours, now and forever. Amen.
