I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 92.35:

“Questioner: Is there anything that we can do to make the instrument more comfortable or improve the contact?

Ra: I am Ra. The support group is functioning well.

The instrument, itself, might ponder some earlier words and consider their implications. We say this because the continued calling upon vital energies, if allowed to proceed to the end of the vital energy, will end this contact. There is not the need for continued calling upon these energies. The instrument must find the key to this riddle or face a growing loss of this particular service at this particular space/time nexus.

All is well. The alignments are exemplary.

I am Ra. I leave you, my friends, in the love and the light of the One Infinite Creator. Go forth, then, rejoicing in the power and in the peace of the One Infinite Creator. Adonai.”

At the end of every session Don would ask if there was any way to make Carla more comfortable or to improve the contact. Ra answered this time with a riddle that was meant to help both Carla and the contact. Ra mentioned a number of times that Carla had a distortion towards martyrdom in that she would give all that she had to be able to serve others by functioning as the instrument for the Ra contact. Ra suggested that Carla “ponder some earlier words and ponder their implications”. These words came from 92.1-.2:

Questioner: Could you first please give me the condition of the instrument?

Ra: I am Ra. The condition of this instrument is slightly more distorted towards weakness in each respect since the previous asking.

Questioner: Is there a specific cause for this, and could you tell us what it is if so?

Ra: I am Ra. The effective cause of the increased physical distortions have to do with the press of continued substantial levels of the distortion you call pain. Various vehicular distortions, other than the specifically arthritic, have been accentuated by psychic greeting, and the combined effect has been deleterious.

The continued slight but noticeable losses of the vital energies is due to the necessity for the instrument to call upon this resource in order to clear the, shall we say, way for a carefully purified service-to-others working. The use of the will in the absence of physical and, in this particular case, mental and mental/emotional energies requires vital energies.

So what Ra was doing here was asking Carla to consider applying a little more wisdom to balance her excessive compassion to the point of martyrdom. She eventually agreed to let Don and me have the major say as to whether or not she was in good enough shape for a session with Ra as Ra first recommended in 44.1:

Questioner: The instrument had some question as to her vitality. We were having a hard time appraising it. Is it possible for you to comment on this?

Ra: I am Ra. We scan this instrument and find that we may be of service without infringement due to this instrument’s decision to abide by the most careful appraisal possible rather than the most desired.

We have been surprised that we have been able to maintain contact on a regular basis during this most intense period of negatively influenced interference. Sexual energy transfers have at some workings given this instrument additional vital resources upon which to draw. However, this is not so at this working and, therefore, the will of the instrument drives its bodily complex. This instrument has no judgment about this service. The faculty of will, while recognized as most central and valuable, could in this application cause serious distortion in bodily complex of the instrument.

May we note that martyrdom is not necessarily helpful. We ask this instrument to examine these thoughts, judge, and discriminate the possible truth of them; and if they be deemed true, we suggest this instrument release the power of judgment to the support group whose interests are balanced far more than this instrument’s. Allow decisions to be made without expectation or attachment to the outcome. Our hopes, may we say, for long-term contact through this instrument depend upon its maturing ability to be of service to other-selves by accepting their help and thus remaining a viable instrument.

May we thank the questioner for allowing us to speak to this point, for we were aware of the distortions incumbent upon one whose will to serve is not regulated by knowledge of limitations of bodily-complex distortion.

This morning once again I attempted to get the majority of the watering for the day done before the afternoon when the forecast was for 98 degrees. So I used the wand to water the Astilbe patch, the cross area, the Secret Garden, and the Sun Mandala in the back yard. Then I watered the area between the garage and the fire pit, the Hollyhocks, and the Giant Sunflowers. In the early afternoon I removed all of the Daffodil leaves around the gardens on both sides of the fish pond. Now I am hoping that the Day Lilies in these gardens will bloom and have plenty of room to grow. In the evening I used the sprinkler to water the Sun Patiens on the Flower Fall in the front yard. The forecast for tomorrow is for the possibility of rain, and I hope we get it plus somewhat lower temperatures.

Be Alive Today

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

Let your lives be alive today as you spend as much mental time as possible with the consciousness of unconditional love which is the essence of Jesus the Christ. Let your day be one of joyful experience. For resting in the peace which sees that all challenges and difficulties are blessings, one may continually be moved by the presence of love, regardless of circumstance.

Let this be your day for quiet and confident remembering of the Father and of the consciousness of love which is Jesus the Christ. It is not easy to allow oneself to be content in any circumstance, but this is the lesson of joy, acceptance and faith which divine love offers.

Let this be a day of building, of loving, and of remembering.

We leave you in the peace that is not of your illusion. We leave you in the peace of the love of Jesus the Christ, with all that that implies, both now and forever. Amen.

“Questioner: I will just, then, attempt an example of the Potentiator of Mind acting. Would, as the infant gains time in incarnation, it experience the Potentiator offering both positive and negative potential acts (or thoughts, shall I say) for the Matrix to experience, which then begin to accumulate in the Matrix, and color it one way or the other in polarity depending upon its continuing choice of that polarity offered by the Potentiator? Is this in any way correct?

Ra: I am Ra. Firstly, again may we distinguish between the archetypical mind and the process of incarnational experience of the mind/body/spirit complex.

Secondly, each potentiation which has been reached for by the Matrix is recorded by the Matrix but experienced by the Significator.

The experience of the Significator of this potentiated activity is, of course, dependent upon the acuity of its processes of Catalyst and Experience.

May we ask if there are briefer queries before we leave this instrument?”

In this question Don is trying to figure out how the Potentiator of the Mind functions in the life pattern. He is assuming that the Potentiator will offer catalyst to the conscious mind, the Matrix of the Mind. Depending on how the conscious mind responds to this catalyst, further catalyst will be colored by these responses to cause the conscious mind to see catalyst as either positive or negative. Once again Ra needed to remind us that it is not the archetypical mind that lives the incarnation. Rather the archetypical mind is a kind of blueprint or owner’s manual to describe the nature of our evolution when we behave in one way or another as Ra mentioned in 91.37:

Questioner: So for an individual who wishes to consciously augment his own evolution, an ability to recognize and utilize the archetypes would be beneficial in sorting out that which he wished to seek and that which he found—and that which would be found then as not as efficient a seeking tool. Would this be a good statement?

Ra: I am Ra. This is a fairly adequate statement. The term “efficient” might also fruitfully be replaced by the term “undistorted.” The archetypical mind, when penetrated lucidly, is a blueprint of the builded structure of all energy expenditures and all seeking, without distortion. This, as a resource within the deep mind, is of great potential aid to the adept.

And in 93.14:

Questioner: Then the adept, in becoming familiar with the Logos’s archetype in each case, would then be able to most efficiently use the Logos’s plan for evolution. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. In the archetypical mind one has the resource of not specifically a plan for evolution, but rather a blueprint or architecture of the nature of evolution. This may seem to be a small distinction, but it has significance in perceiving more clearly the use of this resource of the deep mind.

Then Ra continues their answer by saying when the conscious mind reaches for what the unconscious mind has to offer, the activity which results is recorded in the Matrix, or conscious mind, as an experience that can be used for future actions. But this activity is experienced by the Significator according to the efficiency of the processing of catalyst into experience. Ra gave more insights in 79.42, concerning this relationship between the Matrix/consciousness, the Potentiator/unconscious, and the Significator/Hierophant:

Questioner: Then I will just ask for the one of the archetypes which I am least understanding at this point, if I can use that word at all. I am still very much in the dark, so to speak, with respect to the Hierophant and precisely what it is. Could you give me some other indication of what that is, please?

Ra: I am Ra. You have been most interested in the Significator which must needs become complex. The Hierophant is the original archetype of mind which has been made complex through the subtile movements of the conscious and unconscious. The complexities of mind were evolved rather than the simple melding of experience from Potentiator to Matrix.

The mind itself became an actor possessed of free will and, more especially, will. As the Significator of the Mind, the Hierophant has the will to know, but what shall it do with its knowledge, and for what reasons does it seek? The potential[s] of a complex Significator are manifold.

In summary, the catalyst is offered by the unconscious mind to the conscious mind. The conscious mind processes it until it becomes useable experience. This experience is stored in the conscious mind just as it has been experienced by the Significator.

This morning I went outside to get as much watering done as possible before the hottest part of this heat wave arrives this afternoon. I watered all the area around the fish pond with the sprinkler set on top of the framework over the pond. I also used watering buckets to water the Azaleas in the cross area and the Sun Patiens in the Sun Mandala behind the garage. In the afternoon I added another length of hose to the present hose and went into the back yard to water both the small Forsythia bushes on my south border and then the small Forsythia bushes on my north border. I finished my watering by watering the various deer resistant flowers along the parking area in the front of the house.

There was some good news regarding Dan D. Lion today, and that was that he peed twice, which means that his kidneys are working. I also took Dan D for a few walks this morning and afternoon so he could enjoy his favorite places to hang out for a while. He has been an indoor/outdoor cat for all of his life, so I know that he enjoys these times outside. I don’t let him out by himself anymore because cats who are at the end of their lives occasionally go off somewhere hidden to die and may be hard to find.

School Your Perceptions

Greetings in the consciousness of the love of Jesus the Christ. I am of the principle of that consciousness in the vibration which comforts this instrument.

My children, how I wish that my words were strong wings to bear you up into the cerulean sky of your dreams and ideals.

How I wish I could give you the gift of strong arms and backs to take up and find inspiration in those things which seem to weigh you down.

How I wish that my words were as the dawning of a morning, full of life and purpose, so that you could rejoice.

Yet all words are shadows that flee before the merciless actuality of the round and radiant light of your day. It is you, my children, who must give these gifts to yourself.

We offer you the strength of will to urge ideals and beauty into being. But it is only through your decision to accept these aids that you may school your perceptions to peace and joy.

The love of Christ be with you. Amen.

“Questioner: The protection here seems to be depicted as being on the right-hand side but not the left. Would this indicate greater protection for the positive path than the negative?

Ra: I am Ra. You perceive correctly an inborn bias offering to the seeing eye and listing ear information concerning the choice of the more efficient polarity.

We would at this time, as you may call it, suggest one more full query.”

In the previous question we had determined that the mantle of the Potentiator of the Mind provided a protection for the positive path as Ra said: “To produce fruit is a protected activity.” Now Don follows up with the assumption that this mantle, being draped over the right shoulder of the High Priestess, would provide greater protection for the right hand path than for the left. Ra agrees that this is the case. Then Ra suggests that since the positive path has more protection than the negative path, that bias demonstrates that the positive path is the more efficient of the two paths. This would be expected as in 85.11, Ra suggests that the negative path is the “path of that which is not:”

 If you see the energy centers in their various colors completing the spectrum you may see that the service-to-self choice is one which denies the very center of the spectrum—that being universal love.

Therefore, all that is built upon the penetration of the light of harvestable quality by such entities is based upon an omission. This omission shall manifest in fourth density as the love of self; that is, the fullest expression of the orange and yellow energy centers which then are used to potentiate communication and adepthood.

When fifth-density refinement has been achieved, that which is not is carried further, the wisdom density being explored by entities which have no compassion, no universal love. They experience that which they wish by free choice, being of the earnest opinion that green-ray energy is folly.

That which is not may be seen as a self-imposed darkness in which harmony is turned into an eternal disharmony. However, that which is not cannot endure throughout the octave of third density, and, as darkness eventually calls the light, so does that which is not eventually call that which is.

The positive path is more efficient than the negative path because the positive path is the “path of that which is,” and that is unity and the use of the heart chakra. I believe that another contributing factor that aids the positive path is what Ra said in 90.20-.21 about the Logos having a “bias towards kindness”:

Questioner: Then built into the basis for the archetypes is, possibly, the mechanism for creating the polarization in consciousness for service to others and service to self. Is this, in fact, true?

Ra: I am Ra. Yes. You will notice the many inborn biases which hint to the possibility of one path’s being more efficient than the other. This was the design of the Logos.

Questioner: Then what you are saying is that once the path is recognized, either the positive or the negative polarized entity can find hints along his path as to the efficiency of that path. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. That which you say is correct upon its own merits but is not a repetition of our statement. Our suggestion was that within the experiential nexus of each entity, within its second-density environment and within the roots of mind, there were placed biases indicating to the watchful eye the more efficient of the two paths. Let us say, for want of a more precise adjective, that this Logos has a bias towards kindness.

The heat wave continued for a second day today, so I watered those areas which seemed most in need of water. This included the Moss Garden with the flowers in the middle, the Azalea garden in the cross area, the Wuthering Heights Mound, and small portion of the flowers along the parking area in the front yard.

I also have been keeping an eye on my cat, Dan D. Lion, as his kidney cancer seems to be causing him problems with dehydration, lack of ability to urinate, and he seems to have stopped eating. My vet suggested that I keep an eye on him for these next couple of days to see if his condition changes, and she further recommended that I accompany him when he goes outside so that I am with him if any further problems develop. His kidney cancer was diagnosed over a year and a half ago, and it is amazing that he has lived this long after this very aggressive cancer was detected.

The Happy Tune Of Silence

I am of the principle of the full consciousness of love and I greet you in the name of Jesus the Christ

The busy hubbub of the crowded city is enfolded in silence. And in that silence is enfolded transformative power.

Now, within the meditation, that silence is greeted. And as the spirit listens, it becomes aware of the infinite color and variety of the flashing face of spirit.

Now is the time, in silence and in meditation, to embrace that seemingly angry hubbub of city and all that it implies of civilization’s distresses and discomforts.

Now is the time to realize a sense of the power of the silence so that, as you walk from meditation into daylight, your steps may not falter because of what you see or hear or sense. For you are the vehicle of eternity, and it is your choice to live in power or in oppression. Find the silence and raise high its endless, happy tune.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 92.31-.32:

“Questioner: Were the grapes depicted upon the cloth covering the shoulder of the Priestess of Ra’s communication?

Ra: I am Ra. Yes.

Questioner: We have taken those as indicating the fertility of the subconscious mind. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct, O student, but note ye the function of the mantle. There is great protection given by the very character of potentiation. To bear fruit is a protected activity.”

The robe, or mantle, that the High Priestess is wearing in Card #2 is covered with bunches of grapes, and Don asks Ra if these grapes were given by Ra, and if they suggest the fertility of the subconscious mind. Ra affirms the grapes were given by them, and that Don’s interpretation of their meaning as representing fertility is correct. In 99.8, Ra expanded upon the idea of the subconscious mind being fertile with spiritual resources:

The observation that to the left-hand path moves the roughly physical and to the right-hand path the mental has a shallow correctness. There are deeper observations to be made concerning the relationship of the great sea of the unconscious mind to the conscious mind which may fruitfully be pursued. Remember, O student, that these images are not literal. They haunt rather than explicate.

Many use the trunk and roots of mind as if that portion of mind were a badly used, prostituted entity. Then this entity gains from this great storehouse that which is rough, prostituted, and without great virtue. Those who turn to the deep mind seeing it in the guise of the maiden go forth to court it. The courtship has nothing of plunder in its semblance and may be protracted, yet the treasure gained by such careful courtship is great. The right-hand and left-hand transformations of the mind may be seen to differ by the attitude of the conscious mind towards its own resources as well as the resources of other-selves.

Ra then suggests that we note the function of the mantle itself. The mantle provides protection to the positive entity while it is polarizing in service to others. Ra calls this service, learning, and polarization process equivalent of “bearing fruit” and says that it is a protected activity. Ra said “There is great protection given by the very character of potentiation.” We never asked Ra what they meant by this statement, but I am guessing that since it is the subconscious mind that potentiates action within the conscious mind, it is a process that only involves the self. It is an internal process that produces growth, service, polarization, and progress along the spiritual path. It seems to make sense that such an internal process should be sacrosanct and immune to interference from outside of the self or to any negative entity’s influences. In 64.4, Ra used Carla’s love of attending her church as an example of the kind of protection that would “bear fruit” in service to the Creator:

Questioner: Thank you. Could you explain the basic principles behind the ritual which we perform to initiate the contact and what I would call the basic white magical rituals—principles of protection and other principles? Could you please do this?

Ra: I am Ra. Due to your avenue of question we perceive the appropriateness of inclusion of the cause of this instrument’s transitory vital-energy distortion. The cause is a bias towards the yearning for expression of devotion to the One Creator in group worship.

This entity was yearning for this protection both consciously in that it responds to the accoutrements of this expression, the ritual, the colors and their meanings as given by the distortion system of what you call the church, the song of praise, and the combined prayers of thanksgiving, and, most of all, that which may be seen to be most centrally magical: the intake of that food which is not of this dimension, but has been transmuted into metaphysical nourishment in what this distortion of expression calls the Holy Communion.

The subconscious reason, it being the stronger for this yearning, was the awareness that such expression is—when appreciated by an entity as the transmutation into the presence of the One Creator—a great protection of the entity as it moves in the path of service to others.

The principle behind any ritual of the white magical nature is to so configure the stimuli which reach down into the trunk of mind that this arrangement causes the generation of disciplined and purified emotion, or love, which then may be both protection and the key to the gateway to intelligent infinity.

This morning I began my watering of the yard early as the afternoon temperatures were forecast to be in the mid-90s. I watered the area around the fish pond by putting the sprinkler on top of the framework over the fish pond and letting it run for 45 minutes while I drove to my rheumatologist to have labs done. When I got back I watered the flowers along the parking area in front of the house with my watering wand. I also used the wand to water the flowers on the Wuthering Heights Mound in the front yard.

After lunch I continued to use the watering wand to water the Cone Flowers on the Ruins Mound in the side yard, the Yellow Creeping Jenny ground cover next to the Hidden Garden and the Hosta in the Hidden Garden. I also cleaned out the bird bath that was getting a little mossy-colored, and my last job of the day was to use my chain saw to saw up two middle-sized Black Walnut branches that fell back in Dana’s Crystal Corner.

Increasing Your Joy

Greetings in the love of Christ. We are of the consciousness of that love, the spirit of Christ in the vibration which comforts this child.

It is a characteristic of a life lived in faith that the quality of experience clarifies and improves when the faithful remind themselves continuously of the happy fidelity which has been chosen. Your Creator does not worship Itself. It turns in Its expression to a love of you.

You, then, may turn from the love of self also to express exultation in the excellence of love, of the love of the Creator and of the principles of love that you have been given for Teacher, Comforter and Friend. In sharing joy, so you increase that joy. In opening to give praise, so you shall receive clarity and peace.

“Questioner: There seems to be a book on the Priestess’s lap which is half hidden by the robe or material that covers her right shoulder. It would seem that this indicates that knowledge is available if the veil is lifted, but is not only hidden by the veil, but hidden partially by her very garment which she must somehow move to become aware of the knowledge which she has available. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. In that the conceit of the volume was not originated by Ra we ask that you release the volume from its strictured form. Your perceptions are quite correct.

The very nature of the feminine principle of mind which, in Ra’s suggestion, was related specifically to what may be termed sanctified sexuality is, itself, without addition, the book which neither the feminine nor the male principle may use until the male principle has reached and penetrated, in a symbolically sexual fashion, the inner secrets of this feminine principle.

All robes, in this case indicating the outer garments of custom, shield these principles. Thusly there is great dynamic tension, if you will, betwixt the Matrix and the Potentiator of the Mind.”

Still on Card #2, Don asked Ra if the book in the High Priestess’s lap might represent hidden knowledge since her robe partially covers the book. Ra said that Don was correct even though the book was not of Ra’s creation, so we should remove it from the card. Then Ra went on to say that the secrets of the subconscious mind, which have to do with sanctified sexuality, can only be made available to the conscious and subconscious minds by the symbolically sexual penetration of the inner secrets of this feminine principle by the conscious mind, or the Magician. I am guessing that this symbolically sexual penetration of the “secrets of this feminine principle” would be represented by the conscious mind using meditation to go more deeply into its own subconscious/feminine mind to receive intuitive inspiration from the riches that are available there. I believe that the positively-oriented male actually engages in what could be called a courtship of the subconscious mind, and the negatively-oriented entity engages in a plunder of the subconscious mind, as Ra suggested in 99.8:

Let us now observe the evaluation of the two females. The observation that to the left-hand path moves the roughly physical and to the right-hand path the mental has a shallow correctness. In 92.20, Ra gave the general principle of this courtship of the High Priestess by the Magician, or the unconscious mind by the conscious mind:

Questioner: The Matrix of the Mind is depicted seemingly as male on the card and the Potentiator as female. Could Ra state why this is and how this affects these two archetypes?

Ra: I am Ra. Firstly, as we have said, the Matrix of the Mind is attracted to the biological male and the Potentiator of the Mind to the biological female. Thusly in energy transfer the female is able to potentiate that which may be within the conscious mind of the male so that it may feel enspirited.

In a more general sense, that which reaches may be seen as a male principle; that which awaits the reaching may be seen as a female principle.

The richness of the male and female system of polarity is interesting, and we would not comment further but suggest consideration by the student.

In 71.17, Ra gave a little information about “sanctified sexuality”:

The heart of white magic is the experience of the joy of union with the Creator. This joy will, of necessity, radiate throughout the life experience of the positive adept. It is for this reason that sexual magic is not restricted solely to the negatively oriented polarizing adepts, but, when most carefully used, has its place in high magic as it, when correctly pursued, joins body, mind, and spirit with the One Infinite Creator.

Any purpose which you may frame should, we suggest, take into consideration this basic union with the One Infinite Creator, for this union will result in service to others of necessity.

This was another Sabbath Day of Rest. I used most of the morning to answer emails from a friend who needs help in processing the passing into larger life of her sister. I made my usual errand run after lunch, stopping first at Feeder’s Supply to buy food for the kitties. My second stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market to buy food for myself. My last stop was at Walgreen’s Drug Store where I picked up more supplies for the house. In the afternoon I did some proactive watering of the recently planted flowers and shrubs all around the yard as the forecast for the upcoming week has the potential for record highs in the 90’s each day.

The Abiding Peace

I am the spirit of the principle of the consciousness of Christ and I greet you in that love.

I move to comfort you at this time by suggesting that you meditate upon the perfection of the abiding peace which lies beneath your actions, for there is great comfort available to you, as the in-breath which contains your spiritual food. Each time that you breathe in it is possible for you to become the living quality of Christ, for as breath is light to your bodies, so the same breath contains food for your spirit, a manna which your souls desire.

Breathe deeply, my children, of the love within each moment, and when you breathe out let your emanations express all of the best that you have to give.

And if you stumble, continue to breathe, for every breath is an opportunity to focus on love and to fill your life with that love.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 92.24:

“Questioner: It seems to me that the drawings on each of these columns are identical, but that the left-hand column, that is the one on the Priestess’s left, has been shaded much darker indicating that the events or the experiences may be identical in the incarnation, but may be approached and viewed and utilized with either polarity as the bias. Is this in any way correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. You will note also, from the symbol denoting spirit in manifestation upon each pillar, that the One Infinite Creator is no respecter of polarity but offers Itself in full to all.”

Don is again questioning Ra about the two columns in Card #2. They seem to be identical, but the one on the Priestess’s left is shaded much darker than the one on her right. Don asked Ra if these two columns mean that a seeker may approach the incarnation from either the positive or the negative paths. Ra said that this is so and further draws our attention to the symbol which the High Priestess wears on her chest. This is the symbol of the Spirit, or the One Creator, in manifestation in the third-density illusion. The significance of this symbol is that the Creator does not favor one polarity above the other but others Itself in full to all. The symbol is the crux ansata and in 93.24, Ra gave a detailed description of its meaning:

Questioner: I am assuming that you mean one full question, and I’ll make that question: I’d like to know the significance of the shape of the crux ansata, and if that’s too much of an answer I will just ask if there is anything we can do to make the instrument more comfortable or improve the contact?

Ra: I am Ra. There are mathematical ratios within this image which may yield informative insights to one fond of riddles. We shall not untangle the riddle.

We may indicate that the crux ansata is a part of the concept complexes of the archetypical mind: the circle indicating the magic of the spirit; the cross indicating that nature of manifestation which may only be valued by the losing. Thus the crux ansata is intended to be seen as an image of the eternal in and through manifestation, and beyond manifestation, through the sacrifice and transformation of that which is manifest.

In 7.15, Ra went into great detail regarding this basic concept that “One Infinite Creator is no respecter of polarity but offers Itself in full to all”:

Questioner: What is the density of the Orion group?

Ra: I am Ra. Like the Confederation, the densities of the mass consciousnesses which comprise that group are varied. There are a very few third density, a larger number of fourth density, a similarly large number of fifth density, and very few sixth-density entities comprising this organization. Their numbers are perhaps one-tenth ours at any point in the space/time continuum as the problem of spiritual entropy causes them to experience constant disintegration of their social memory complexes.

Their power is the same as ours. The Law of One blinks neither at the light or the darkness but is available for service to others and service to self. However, service to others results in service to self, thus preserving and further harmonizing the distortions of those entities seeking intelligent infinity through these disciplines.

Those seeking intelligent infinity through the use of service to self create the same amount of power but, as we said, have constant difficulty because of the concept of separation which is implicit in the manifestations of the service to self which involve power over others. This weakens and eventually disintegrates the energy collected by such mind/body/spirit complexes who call the Orion group and the social memory complexes which comprise the Orion group.

It should be noted, carefully pondered, and accepted, that the Law of One is available to any social memory complex which has decided to strive together for any seeking of purpose, be it service to others or service to self. The laws, which are the primal distortions of the Law of One, then are placed into operation, and the illusion of space/time is used as a medium for the development of the results of those choices freely made.

Thus all entities learn, no matter what they seek. All learn the same, some rapidly, some slowly.

This symbol on the High Priestess’s chest means that the Creator is all that there is. The Creator made the creation from Itself as there is no other material than the Creator. It matters not, then, whether portions of the Creation/creation seek the Creator from the service-to-others path or from the service-to-self path, for they are both the one Creator. In 30.1, Don was able to discover the basic reason that this is so:

Questioner: I am going to make a statement and then let you correct it if I have made any errors. This is the statement: creation is a single entity, or unity. If only a single entity exists, then the only concept of service is service to self. If this single entity subdivides, then the concept of service of one of its parts to the other part is born. From this concept springs the equality of service to self, or to others.

It would seem that as the Logos subdivided, parts would select each orientation. As individualized entities emerge in space/time then I would assume that they have polarity. Is this statement correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This statement is quite perceptive and correct until the final phrase in which we note that the polarities begin to be explored only at the point when a third-density entity becomes aware of the possibility of choice between the concept, or distortion, of service to self or service to others. This marks the end of what you may call the unselfconscious, or innocent, phase of conscious awareness.

This morning I ran errands and picked up some top soil at The Home Depot, some white paint at PPG Paint Store, and some pain meds for Boscoe at the Compound Care Pharmacy. This afternoon I used the top soil to provide an even dark surface upon which to place the fossils and geodes that are under the bird bath, which made it easier to see the details of each. Then I used the paint to paint the lattice work under the platform over which the bird feeder hangs. I also painted the ramp that I drive my big mower upon when I want to clean the cutting deck where the blades are. My last task of the afternoon was to do some watering of the flowers along the parking area in front of the house.

Rejoicing And Praising

Greetings in the love of Jesus Christ. I am of the principle of the consciousness of love in the vibration which comforts this child.

As we have been speaking with you, we have refrained from using the usual appellations of lordship and kingdom, power and might. We have done this in order that you may perceive that we are part of consciousness, as you are part of consciousness, and are very near to you, not shutting you out but welcoming you in to the consciousness which all may share.

Why, then, have words like “Lord” and “Holy” and “Blessed” and “Most High” been given to Jesus the Christ, to his Father, and to that principle of which I am a part?

My children, search within yourselves to see if you can rejoice without praising or worship without exalting. It is a thing man made for his own benefit, the naming and the praising. For we who communicate the consciousness of love wish to offer inspiration and a feeling that there is a true mystery. And mankind, having seen the mystery, must express praise and joy in his own way.

Therefore, as you adore, use all the phrases that lift you up. And lift up love, without self-consciousness but in the knowledge that you are urging yourselves on in a good race. For the more you laugh and rejoice in love, the closer your consciousness is to dwelling within the consciousness and the kingdom of heaven.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 92.19:

“Questioner: Are all activities that the entity has, as it experiences things from the state of infancy, a function of the Potentiator of Mind?

Ra: I am Ra. Firstly, although the functions of the mind are indeed paramount over those of the body—the body being the creature of the mind—certainly not all actions of a mind/body/spirit complex could be seen to be due to the potentiating qualities of the mind complex alone, as the body and in some cases the spirit also potentiates action.

Secondly, as a mind/body/spirit complex becomes aware of the process of spiritual evolution, more and more of the activities of the mind and body which precipitate activity are caused by those portions of the mind/body/spirit complex which are articulated by the archetypes of Transformation.”

In this question Don continues his questioning on the Potentiator of the Mind by asking Ra if all of the activities of the seeker are set in motion by the Potentiator of the Mind, the subconscious mind. Ra reminded us that the body is the creature of the mind, so it is not surprising that Don’s statement is correct to a great extent. But Ra also said that there are many functions of the body, and of the spirit as well, that also potentiate action by the mind. The body has needs that must be fulfilled by conscious choice, and the spirit inspires and illumines the mind in many ways. In 64.20, Don asked Ra a question for me, and Ra’s answer referred to my meditation posture during Ra sessions by sitting cross-legged on the floor to help energize the Ra contact:

Questioner: In the healing exercises, when you say “examine the sensations of the body,” do you mean those sensations available to the body via the five senses? Or in relation to the natural functions of the body such as touching, loving, sexual sharing, and company? Or are you speaking of something else altogether?

Ra: I am Ra. The questioner may perceive its body complex at this moment. It is experiencing sensations. Most of these sensations, or in this case nearly all of them, are transient and without interest. However, the body is the creature of the mind. Certain sensations carry importance due to the charge or power which is felt by the mind upon the experience of this sensation.

For instance, at this space/time nexus one sensation is carrying a powerful charge and may be examined. This is the sensation of what you call the distortion towards discomfort due to the cramped position of the body complex during this working. In balancing you would then explore this sensation. Why is this sensation powerful? Because it was chosen in order that the entity might be of service to others in energizing this contact.

Each sensation that leaves the aftertaste of meaning upon the mind, that leaves the taste within the memory, shall be examined. These are the sensations of which we speak.

Going even further, Ra stated that as the seeker of truth becomes more aware of the nature of spiritual evolution that more and more of its actions that affect the mind and the body will be influenced by the archetypes of the Transformation of the Mind and the Transformation of the Body. I think that this basically means that as the process of spiritual evolution becomes conscious for the seeker, that there is a kind of momentum that builds up within the seeker that facilitates further changes for transformations in the seeker’s body, mind, and spirit complexes. In 79.40, Ra defined the process of the Transformation of the Mind:

As you observe Archetype Six you may see the student of the mysteries being transformed by the need to choose betwixt the light and the dark in mind.

In 81.13, Ra also gave a basic definition of how the Transformation of the Body work in a continuous way:

Questioner: We have already discussed the Significator, so I will skip to number thirteen. Transformation of Body is called Death, for with death the body is transformed to a higher-vibration body for additional learning. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct and may be seen to be additionally correct in that each moment, and certainly each diurnal period of the bodily incarnation, offers death and rebirth to one which is attempting to use the catalyst which is offered it.

And in 80.20, Ra describes how the Transformation of the Spirit would function for the adept:

Questioner: Sorry about that. Can you tell me what the twentieth archetype would be?

Ra: I am Ra. That which you call the Sarcophagus in your system may be seen to be the material world, if you will. This material world is transformed by the spirit into that which is infinite and eternal.

The infinity of the spirit is an even greater realization than the infinity of consciousness, for consciousness which has been disciplined by will and faith is that consciousness which may contact intelligent infinity directly.

There are many things which fall away in the many, many steps of adepthood. We, of Ra, still walk these steps and praise the One Infinite Creator at each transformation.

This afternoon I finished weeding the back yard and the front yard just as a long, gentle rain set in. After about two hours the rain stopped, and I noticed that the total rain fall was only one quarter of an inch. That tells you how gentle the rain was. Then I did my weekly vacuuming of the first floor of the house.

The Seeds Of Godhood

I am the spirit of the living Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of that divine love which is the love of Jesus the Christ.

In your nature you bear the seeds of Godhood. Those seeds have been planted by the great Sower. You may read carefully the parable of the sower and the seeds, for the soil is your own and it is by desire, prayer and hope that you may draw unto you that grace which is the Holy Spirit at work within your life.

It is trust in the call to the spirit that brings that spiritual rain that aids the seeds of love and growth, that soil enhancer which enriches the sometimes poverty-stricken soil of your consciousness.

Yes, you are gods, but you are very young gods. Trust in the spirit of love. Yearn and call for that spirit, that those seeds which lie within you may flourish and bring forth the fruit of the spirit within the life.

Yet strive not! Worry not! But seek and, having sought, trust and allow that energy peacefully to work in your midst.

“Questioner: Turning, then, to my analogy—or shall we say, example—of the newborn infant with the undistorted Matrix, this newborn infant has its subconscious veiled from the Matrix. The second archetype, the Potentiator of Mind, is going to act at some time through—I won’t say through the veil, I don’t think that is a very good way of stating it—but the Potentiator of Mind will act to create a condition, and I will use an example of the infant touching a hot object. The hot object we could take as random catalyst. The infant can either leave its hand on the hot object or rapidly remove it. My question is: is the Potentiator of Mind involved at all in this experience and, if so, how?

Ra: I am Ra. The Potentiator of Mind and of Body are both involved in the questing of the infant for new experience. The mind/body/spirit complex which is an infant has one highly developed portion which may be best studied by viewing the Significators of Mind and Body.

You notice we do not include the spirit. That portion of a mind/body/spirit complex is not reliably developed in each and every mind/body/spirit complex. Thusly the infant’s significant self, which is the harvest of biases of all previous incarnational experiences, offers to this infant biases with which to meet new experience.

However, the portion of the infant which may be articulated by the Matrix of the Mind is indeed unfed by experience, and has the bias of reaching for this experience through free will just as intelligent energy, in the kinetic phase, through free will, creates the Logos.

This sub-sub-Logos then (or that portion of the mind/body/spirit complex which may be articulated by consideration of the Potentiators of Mind and Body), through free will, chooses to make alterations in its experiential continuum.

The results of these experiments in novelty are then recorded in the portion of the mind and body articulated by the Matrices thereof.”

Now we are on Card #2, The Potentiator of the Mind, the unconscious mind, or the High Priestess. Don asks Ra what part the Potentiator plays in the infant gaining new experience. Ra mentions that the Significators of the Mind and Body also aid in this process as they are the sum of all previous incarnational experiences for the infant. But the spirit is not usually utilized by the infant until later in its incarnation. In 79.42, Ra described the Significator of the Mind as the “original archetype of mind” which would have the “will to know” much as the infant attempts to learn:

The Hierophant is the original archetype of mind which has been made complex through the subtile movements of the conscious and unconscious. The complexities of mind were evolved rather than the simple melding of experience from Potentiator to Matrix.

The mind itself became an actor possessed of free will and, more especially, will. As the Significator of the Mind, the Hierophant has the will to know, but what shall it do with its knowledge, and for what reasons does it seek? The potential[s] of a complex significator are manifold.

Ra went on to say that the Potentiators of Mind and Body are active in helping the infant to gain new experience by reaching for it much as does the intelligent energy of the Logos. Ra likens the Potentiators of Mind and Body to the Logos which creates Its creation in an attempt to help the Creator know Itself, in that the Potentiators of Mind and Body of the infant are helping the infant to gain new experience. These new experiences are recorded in the Matrix of the Mind and are used to further the seeker’s knowledge of itself in its unity with the Creator and the creation. In 91.33, Ra gave us the concept of the “unfed” conscious mind which the infant certainly demonstrates as it reaches for new experience:

Questioner: And finally, the Magician represents the conscious mind. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. We ask the student to consider the concept of the unfed conscious mind, the mind without any resource but consciousness. Do not confuse the unfed conscious mind with that mass of complexities which you as students experience, as you have so many, many times dipped already into the processes of potentiation, catalyst, experience, and transformation.

In 48.7, Ra speaks of the infant in a paradoxical way regarding having an unfed conscious mind in that it seems to contain the universe as well:

Entrance into incarnation requires the investment, or activation, of the indigo-ray, or etheric body, for this is the form maker. The young, or small, physical mind/body/spirit complex has the seven energy centers potentiated before the birthing process. There are also analogs in time/space of these energy centers corresponding to the seven energy centers in each of the seven true-color densities. Thus in the microcosm exists all the experience that is prepared. It is as though the infant contains the universe.

This afternoon I returned to weeding the back yard and was able to get the Astilbe Garden weeded in the far back part of the back yard. The Astilbe blooms come in colors of pink, white, and red and are now in the process of coming into bloom. My last job of the afternoon was to water some of the most recently transplanted flowers and bushes. New transplants require more watering until their root systems have become established.

Suffering In The Desert

I am the spirit of the living Christ, the principle of the full consciousness of love.

Overnight there has been rain! And where before the earth was parched, now it thirsts no longer. In the wake of the rain there spring up countless flowers, the fruit of the blessing of water.

In human drought the suffering of the desert may be extreme and the thirst unbearable. In these circumstances it is the true pilgrim soul who sits down upon the dusty trail, knowing that there is no water, and who waits patiently for that daily bread which is the rainfall of the spirit of Christ.

If the time in the desert has been taken hard then the fruit, when rain does come, will be bitter. Take care that in your desert you may remain sweet, serving in consciousness the flowers of love and beauty so that when the rain does come there are no tares amidst the sweet flowers of your patient joy.

“Questioner: Thank you. Then finally: As each energy center becomes activated and balanced the Transformation of the Mind is called upon more and more frequently. When all of the energy centers are activated and balanced to a minimal degree, contact with intelligent infinity occurs; the veil is removed; and the Great Way of the Mind is called upon. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. No. This is a quite eloquent look at some relationships within the archetypical mind. However, it must be seen once again that the archetypical mind does not equal the acting incarnational mind/body/spirit complex’s progression or evolution.

Due to the first misperception we hesitate to speak to the second consideration but shall attempt clarity. While studying the archetypical mind we may suggest that the student look at the Great Way of the Mind not as that which is attained after contact with intelligent infinity, but rather as that portion of the archetypical mind which denotes and configures the particular framework within which the Mind, the Body, or the Spirit archetypes move.”

In this question Don is blending concepts from the archetypical mind, the energy centers, and the seeker’s eventual contact with intelligent infinity and asking Ra if this is the way they all work together. However, even though Ra might have been impressed with Don’s eloquence, Ra said that Don’s assumptions were incorrect. Ra suggested, first of all, the archetypical mind does not live the incarnation. It is a tool for grasping the nature of the evolution of the mind/body/spirit complex, but it does not actively partake within the incarnational experience as Ra had mentioned in the previous question and answer, 92.16:

Please keep in mind that we are discussing, not the archetypical mind which is a resource available equally to each but unevenly used, but that to which it speaks: the incarnational experiential process of each mind/body/spirit complex.

We wish to make this distinction clear, for it is not the archetypes which live the incarnation, but the conscious mind/body/spirit complex—which may, indeed, live the incarnation without recourse to the quest for articulation of the processes of potentiation, experience, and transformation.

Ra then suggested that the Great Way of the Mind be seen as the framework within which the seeker of truth moves to process catalyst, to gain experience, and to move closer into unity with the Creator and all of Its creation. Back in 79.41, Don actually stated the nature of the Great Way of the Mind in a way more in congruency with Ra’s thoughts in their response in this question:

Questioner: Would the Conqueror, or Chariot, then, represent the culmination of the action of the first six archetypes into a conquering of the mental processes, even possibly removing the veil?

Ra: I am Ra. This is most perceptive. The Archetype Seven is one difficult to enunciate. We may call it the Path, the Way, or the Great Way of the Mind. Its foundation is a reflection and substantial summary of Archetypes One through Six.

One may also see the Way of the Mind as showing the kingdom or fruits of appropriate travel through the mind in that the mind continues to move as majestically through the material it conceives of as a chariot drawn by royal lions or steeds.

This morning I decided to use my trimmer to weed the Moss Garden, the Ruins Mound, and all the areas in the back yard that have been mulched with pine straw mulch that have a few weeds growing up through the mulch. Then I used my backpack blower to blow the Moss Garden and the cross area clean. In the afternoon I ran some errands to get gas for my trimmer and backpack blower and some meds for myself at Walgreen’s Pharmacy. I will be posting this journal entry early today because we will have a channeling circle this evening. This will be the first channeling circle in three weeks because of scheduling difficulties a couple of weeks ago.

The Spirit Shakes The Pilgrim

I am the sacred principle of divine love, the spirit of the living Christ. I greet you in the name of Jesus the Christ.

This entity seeks purely and asks that the spirit of love offer to her a jewel of a thought, a crystallized concept that may enlarge her perception of the day ahead.

Yet we would rather not be the purveyor of perfect jewels which may be toyed with by the mind, fingered with those hands of thought which may soil and defile and then be put away, beautiful, crystalline and ungiving.

Nay. The spirit of divine love is a spirit which, neatly or less neatly, seizes some portion of the mind and heart of the pilgrim and shakes it hard enough to rearrange the perceptions that have perhaps been too crystallized, too complacent, and too smug, so that the universe opens up and becomes that creation of the Father which is ever being recreated, newly created and beginning the process of creation.

For the Father’s hand becomes our hand, which becomes your hand, which moves then into the world in peace yet in power, power not only to alter but to reconstruct in a more godly manner the elements of thought which lead to a world view and action taken because of the world view.

You look toward an horizon of which you yet know not. Listen, for the voice of the transforming spirit of love lies in every expected and unexpected place. As the horizon moves through your day, the untidy, exciting and disturbing spirit sheds its peace everywhere. He who has ears, let him hear.

The Matrix of the Mind is that which reaches—just as the kinetic phase of intelligent infinity, through free will, reaches for the Logos (or, in the case of the mind/body/spirit complex, the sub-sub-Logos, which is the free-will-potentiated beingness of the mind/body/spirit complex) to intelligent infinity, Love, and all that follows from that Logos; to the Matrix or, shall we say, the conscious, waiting self of each entity, the Love or the sub-sub-Logos spinning through free will all those things which may enrich the experience of the Creator by the Creator.

It is indeed so that the biases of the potentials of a mind/body/spirit complex cause the catalyst of this entity to be unique and to form a coherent pattern that resembles the dance, full of movement, forming a many-figured tapestry of motion.”

In this question Don tried to connect the process by which the Free Will of the Creator taps intelligent infinity to create intelligent energy, or Love, which then creates the densities of creation, with the process by which the Potentiator of the Mind potentiates the Matrix of the Mind, the Magician, to produce the Catalyst of the Mind. Ra gave Don credit for a thoughtful question which, however, was somewhat confused. Ra replied that the Matrix of the Mind could be likened to intelligent infinity which has been potentiated by Free Will and which reaches for the Logos, or intelligent energy—as Don had assumed. The Matrix of the Mind, however, reaches for that which is to be found in catalyst that has been presented by the Potentiator of the Mind. Then the Matrix of the Mind, the Magician, processes this catalyst. This processed catalyst represents “all those things which may enrich the experience of the Creator by the Creator.” So as the seeker processes catalyst, and turns it into some form of love, the One Creator, which made all that there is, is experiencing Itself as the Creator, which is the spiritual seeker. In 42.3-.5, Ra and Don gave a detailed description as to how this would work in our daily lives:

Questioner: I will attempt to make an analogy.

If an animal, shall I say a bull in a pen, attacks you because you have wandered into his pen, you get out of his way rapidly, but you do not blame him. Or, you do not have much of an emotional response other than the fear response that he might damage you.

However, if you encounter another self in his territory and he attacks you, your response may be more of an emotional nature creating physical bodily responses. Am I correct in assuming that when your response to the animal and to the other-self, seeing both as the Creator, and loving both, and understanding their action in attacking you is the action of their free will, then you have balanced yourself correctly in this area? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is basically correct. However, the balanced entity will see in the seeming attack of an other-self the causes of this action which are, in most cases, of a more complex nature than the cause of the attack of the second-density bull, as was your example. Thus, this balanced entity would be open to many more opportunities for service to a third-density other-self.

Questioner: Would a perfectly balanced entity feel an emotional response when being attacked by the other-self?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. The response is love.

Questioner: In the illusion that we now experience it is difficult to maintain this response, especially if the entity’s attack results in physical pain, but I assume that this response should be maintained even through physical loss of life or extreme pain. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct and further is of a major, or principal, importance in understanding, shall we say, the principle of balance. Balance is not indifference but rather the observer not blinded by any feelings of separation but rather fully imbued with love.

Ra finished their answer by reaffirming a portion of Don’s question by saying that the pre-incarnative biases of the seeker, which the Potentiator of the Mind, the High Priestess or unconscious mind, sends to the conscious mind, are unique to each seeker and form a coherent life pattern of “the dance, full of movement, forming a many-figured tapestry of motion.” I believe that the portion of Don’s question that Ra said was confused was where Don said that the product of the Potentiator of the Mind’s potentiating influence was the actual archetype of the Catalyst of the Mind when, in truth, it is the daily catalyst that the conscious mind would then, hopefully, process into some form of love. In 94.11, Ra gave an example of how the deeper mind or unconscious mind would bias the pre-incarnative catalyst of the seeker:

Questioner: I have drawn a small diagram in which I simply show an arrow which represents catalyst penetrating a line at right angles to the arrow, which is the veil, and then depositing in one of two repositories: one which I would call on the right-hand path, one on the left-hand path. And I have labeled these two repositories for the catalytic action as it’s filtered through the veil “the Experience.” Would this be a very rough analogy of the way the catalyst is filtered through the veil to become experience?

Ra: I am Ra. Again, you are partially correct. The deeper biases of a mind/body/spirit complex pilot the catalyst around the many isles of positivity and negativity as expressed in the archipelago of the deeper mind. However, the analogy is incorrect in that it does not take into account the further polarization which most certainly is available to the conscious mind after it has perceived the partially polarized catalyst from the deeper mind.

Today I decided to take advantage of an inch and a half of rain last night and weeded the four flower gardens surrounding the fish pond. I was especially looking for the invasive flowers that I thought I had gotten rid of last year when I shoveled them out roots and all. However, this spring I have noticed some small seedlings of those flowers and am doing my best to get rid of them. Then I took four garbage cans and my chain saw to the far back corner of my yard to cut up a large Black Locust tree limb that came down in the rain and wind last night. I cut the larger part of that limb into firewood lengths and stored in around the Fire Pit.

Be Glad For Imperfection

Greetings. I am the blessed principle of the truth and peace of the consciousness of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the love of Christ.

It may seem to you that you are not getting very far, very fast, along your spiritual path. You may be upset at the lack of symmetry in the arrangement of your daily life, feeling that it is not in conformation with your desires.

And yet with imperfection comes a kind of opening of the spirit to the challenges of the mind. Would you have your outer life so smooth, seamless and perfect that there is in it no room for revelation of self-consciousness? Be glad for the imperfection that keeps your minds busy.

We come in the name of Love and open our hearts, our minds, and our souls to send love, light, and healing energies to Mother Earth as she brings forth a New Earth in fourth density.
