I would like to remind everyone that we are holding our Meditation for World Peace again tomorrow morning at 11 am Eastern Time. We will meditate for ten minutes and send love, light, and healing energies to the people of Ukraine and Russia.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 91.24:

“Questioner: The bird is a messenger that the hand is reaching down to unlock. Can Ra comment on that?

Ra: I am Ra. The wingèd visions or images in this system are to be noted not so much for their distinct kind as for the position of the wings. All birds are, indeed, intended to suggest flight, and messages, and movement, and in some cases, protection.

The folded wing in this image is intended to suggest that just as the Matrix figure, the Magician, cannot act without reaching its wingèd spirit, so neither can the spirit fly lest it be released into conscious manifestation and fructified thereby.”

In this question Don asked Ra if he was correct in saying that the bird on Card Number One is “a messenger that the hand is reaching down to unlock.” Ra responded by saying that the bird on any card would be important as regards the position of their wings. Ra also said that all birds also suggest “flight, messages, and movement, and in some cases, protection.” As an example in 99.7, Don asked Ra if the bird in Card Number Five, the Significator of the Mind, exemplified this kind of protection:

Questioner: The wings of Card Five, I am guessing, have to do with a protection over the—they’re above the Significator of the Mind, and I am guessing they are a symbol of protection. Is this in any way correct?

Ra: I am Ra. Let us say that you are not incorrect but rather less than correct. The Significator owns a covenant with the spirit which it shall, in some cases, manifest through the thought and action of the adept. If there is protection in a promise, then you have chosen the correct sound vibration, for the outstretched wings of spirit, high above manifestation, yet draw the caged mind onward.

Then Ra returned to this specific Card Number One and said that the bird’s folded wing suggested that just as the Matrix of the Mind, the Magician, “cannot act without reaching its wingèd spirit, so neither can the spirit fly lest it be released into conscious manifestation and fructified thereby.” We never asked Ra to expand on this statement, but I am guessing that Ra demonstrated this concept in 93.10, where they speak of a person, whom we can take as the Magician, or conscious mind, “is, having made contact with its potentiated self, now beginning its flight towards that great Logos which is that which is sought by the adept:”

Questioner: The bird, I am guessing, might be a messenger, the two paths depicted by the position of the wings, bringing catalyst which could be used to polarize on either path. Is this in any way correct?

Ra: I am Ra. It is a correct perception that the position of the wingèd creature is significant. The more correct perception of this entity and its significance is the realization that the mind/body/spirit complex is, having made contact with its potentiated self, now beginning its flight towards that great Logos which is that which is sought by the adept.

Further, the nature of the wingèd creature is echoed both by the female holding it and the symbol of the female upon which the figure’s feet rest; that is, the nature of catalyst is overwhelmingly of an unconsciousness, coming from that which is not of the mind and which has no connection with the intellect, as you call it, which precedes or is concomitant with catalytic action.

All uses of catalyst by the mind are those consciously applied to catalyst. Without conscious intent the use of catalyst is never processed through mentation, ideation, and imagination.

In this quote Ra also made the statement that all catalyst comes from the unconscious mind, the Potentiator of the Mind, and has “no connection with the intellect.” But Ra added that it is the intellect, the conscious mind, the Magician, which processes catalyst. In 94.11, Ra gave an example of how the unconscious mind provides partially polarized catalyst to the conscious mind which then processes it in one polarity or another:

Questioner: I have drawn a small diagram in which I simply show an arrow which represents catalyst penetrating a line at right angles to the arrow, which is the veil, and then depositing in one of two repositories: one which I would call on the right-hand path, one on the left-hand path. And I have labeled these two repositories for the catalytic action as it’s filtered through the veil “the Experience.” Would this be a very rough analogy of the way the catalyst is filtered through the veil to become experience?

Ra: I am Ra. Again, you are partially correct. The deeper biases of a mind/body/spirit complex pilot the catalyst around the many isles of positivity and negativity as expressed in the archipelago of the deeper mind. However, the analogy is incorrect in that it does not take into account the further polarization which most certainly is available to the conscious mind after it has perceived the partially polarized catalyst from the deeper mind.

This morning I used my trimmer to weed the Moss Garden, and then I continued using my trimmer to weed the Ruins Mound. In the afternoon I continued weeding the Astilbe Garden by hand and then moved on to the Secret Garden where my major job was to get as much of the invasive Spotted Ivy out of that garden so that the Hosta and Sweet William can thrive there.

Hunger And Hope

I am the spirit of the living Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

This instrument has been bewildered, as we have flooded the instrument with images of hunger, poverty, entities without homes, without shelter, without clothing, and without hope.

This is a part of the perfect beauty of your illusion. This is that which may be found, not just in other places, but in yours. The spirit of Christ speaks to the world in love, in peace, and in service. What shall you do this day to acknowledge that your very selves are hungry?

Seek in your heart to find a call to renew, revive and replenish the concept of hope, for you are the spirit of Christ in the world today. Your hands give heavenly food as well as provender.

Above all hunger and disorder, may you see the overriding and underlying peace of Jesus Christ, now and ever. Amen.

“Questioner: The dark area around the square would then be the darkness of the subconscious mind. Would Ra comment?

Ra: I am Ra. There is no further thing to say to the perceptive student.

Questioner: The checkered portion would represent polarity?

Ra: I am Ra. This also is satisfactory.”

We are still on Card #1, The Magician, the conscious mind, in these two questions. Don got a positive affirmation from Ra that the dark area around the top and two sides of the square would represent the darkness of the subconscious mind. This darkness does not imply nothingness but, rather, the unknown nature of the subconscious mind which is actually full to bursting with information about and connections to the entire universe and the One Creator. All this wealth of information must be sought by the conscious mind after the Potentiator, the subconscious mind, potentiates the conscious mind into action according to the larger plan of the soul. In 99.8, Ra describes some of the richness of information within the subconscious mind:

There are deeper observations to be made concerning the relationship of the great sea of the unconscious mind to the conscious mind which may fruitfully be pursued. Remember, O student, that these images are not literal. They haunt rather than explicate.

Many use the trunk and roots of mind as if that portion of mind were a badly used, prostituted entity. Then this entity gains from this great storehouse that which is rough, prostituted, and without great virtue. Those who turn to the deep mind seeing it in the guise of the maiden go forth to court it. The courtship has nothing of plunder in its semblance and may be protracted, yet the treasure gained by such careful courtship is great. The right-hand and left-hand transformations of the mind may be seen to differ by the attitude of the conscious mind towards its own resources as well as the resources of other-selves.

Ra also affirmed Don’s second assumption that the black and white checkered areas at the bottom of the square represent the polarity that will be chosen by the conscious mind. As the conscious mind is potentiated into action by the High Priestess, the Potentiator of the Mind, then the conscious mind, the Magician, will eventually discover the need to choose one path or the other as the means for making spiritual progress in the third density. The veil of forgetting hides all of the resources of the subconscious mind from the conscious mind. In 91.28-.29, Ra mentioned how this concept of polarity is mentioned once again in this first card:

Questioner: There is apparently a cup which we have as containing a mixture of positive and negative influences. However, I personally doubt this. Would Ra comment, please?

Ra: I am Ra. Doubt not the polarity, O student, but release the cup from its stricture. It is indeed a distortion of the original image.

Questioner: What was the original image?

Ra: I am Ra. The original image had the checkering as the suggestion of polarity.

Questioner: Then was this a representation of the waiting polarity to be tasted by the Matrix of the Mind?

Ra: I am Ra. This is exquisitely perceptive.

This morning I participated in Our Book Club podcast with two long-time friends of 50 years where we began the study of Living Buddha, Living Christ, by Thich Nhat Hanh and continued our study of The Ra Contact. We have decided to take turns reading in one book and then the other. Whenever we have a question or comment about what is being read, we stop and have a discussion. This seems to be a very good way to dive deeper into the information which each book has to offer regarding our spiritual journeys.

This afternoon I pumped half the water out of the fish pond and then replaced it with fresh water. While the water was pumping out I clean the filters for the fountain and began weeding the four gardens that surround the fish pond. While the pond was refilling I finished weeding these gardens. We have gotten an inch and a half of rain in the last two days, so I thought that this would be a good time to catch up on weeding the gardens all around the yard since weeds pull up roots and all during wet weather. I will probably finish the transplanting of annual flowers next week.

The Spirit Of Love

I am the spirit of Him who comes in the name of the Lord.

All things dwell within the love of God. The love of God is a power which emanates from each living thing. Long before one reaches another person the two sendings of love have intertwined and greeted each other.

There are those whose sensitivity causes them to find pain in the contact with the love of the Creator and pain in the contact with other souls. For the love of God is a strong and vibrant thing and one which removes one’s isolation completely.

Yet even in the midst of isolated countryside, that consciousness which emanates and exudes as the love of the Creator is sent out by each creation of the Father, each flower, grass and tree.

There are some sensitive souls who must then seek the cave. There the emanations of stone, water and air are silent or at least quiet enough that the soul who works alone may find rest.

We urge each to open the doors of acceptance to the life of the spirit of love in people and places and circumstances, but even if we speak to one within a cave we know that the love of God in Christ shall work with you at your chosen speed.

“Questioner: The square cage may represent the material illusion, an unmagical shape. Would Ra comment?

Ra: I am Ra. The square, wherever seen, is the symbol of the third-density illusion and may be seen either as unmagical or, in the proper configuration, as having been manifested within; that is, the material world given life.”

In this question Don is asking about the square cage in general in Card #1, the Magician. Ra confirmed Don’s supposition that this cage is, indeed, unmagical and represents the third density illusion. Ra also added that wherever the square shape is seen in the twenty two Major Arcana that this unmagical quality is repeated. Then Ra made an interesting statement that if this square shape is seen in the proper way, it may also be seen as having been manifested within the being of the Magician, the conscious mind. This manifestation of the square shape by the Magician gives the shape life within the third-density illusion and allows it to aid the conscious mind in its movements and growth. Though it is unmagical and cannot create changes in consciousness by itself, it can help the conscious mind to process catalyst in a magical way that does create changes in its consciousness. In 78.33, Ra speaks more about the nature of the conscious mind as being magical and mysterious:

We now address your query as to the archetype which is the Matrix of the Mind. As to its name, the name of Magician is understandable when you consider that consciousness is the great foundation, mystery, and revelation which makes this particular density possible. The self-conscious entity is full of the magic of that which is to come. It may be considered first, for the mind is the first of the complexes to be developed by the student of spiritual evolution.

And in 79.20, Ra again refers to the Matrix of the mind, or the conscious mind, as being magical:

The Matrix of Mind is that from which all comes. It is unmoving yet is the activator in potentiation of all mind activity. 

This morning I ran some errands and picked up 4 regular Azalea bushes from Thieneman’s Nursery to replace 4 of the ever-blooming Azaleas that died since I transplanted them over a month ago. Then I stopped at Kroger’s and did my grocery shopping for the week. This afternoon I transplanted the 4 Azaleas in the cross area, and while I was there I trimmed back four Butterfly Bushes that had dead branches on them and then did the same with the Trumpet Vine that grows over the arbor in front of the cross area. Just as I quit work it started raining. The perfect end to my gardening afternoon.

May 25

Life Within Each Cell

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

The answer to many riddles lies beneath the surface of stone and earth and all things which seem hard, uninteresting and mundane. The life within the stone and the earth and all things is an eternal part of the spirit of living love and exists in an eternal fashion.

The life within each cell of the physical body rests in eternal life also, so that far from being a creature of darkness, the living body dwells in eternity as it dwells within the Earth sphere.

Open the thought about the body to the knowledge that it is instinct with the Holy Spirit of the living God and call upon the eternal life and health of each cell. Then you may feel the excitement of the cells of the body receiving permission to be what each cell truly is: a perfect representation of love.

“Questioner: The hand downward has been seen as seeking from within, not outwardly active dominance over the material world. Would Ra comment?

Ra: I am Ra. Look again, O student. Does the hand reach within? Nay. Without potentiation the conscious mind has no inwardness. That hand, O student, reaches towards that which, outside its unpotentiated influence, is locked from it.”

Beginning with this session we had just begun to query Ra concerning the facets of each of the images in the Major Arcana of the tarot. This was the third question, and Don asked Ra if the left hand of the Magician could be a representation of the conscious mind seeking within itself. Ra said that was incorrect as there could be no inward seeking until the conscious mind had been potentiated by the High Priestess as Ra suggested in 79.20:

The Matrix of Mind is that from which all comes. It is unmoving yet is the activator in potentiation of all mind activity. The Potentiator of the Mind is that great resource which may be seen as the sea into which the consciousness dips ever deeper and more thoroughly in order to create, ideate, and become more self-conscious.

Instead, Ra suggested that this hand of the magician was reaching for that which it is unable to grasp until the unconscious mind, the High Priestess, potentiates the conscious mind to reach for catalyst that the High Priestess then gives to the conscious mind. Thus the conscious mind reflects the male principle of reaching for the unconscious mind, and the unconscious mind reflects the female principle of awaiting the reaching of the conscious mind as Ra described in 92.20:

Questioner: The Matrix of the Mind is depicted seemingly as male on the card and the Potentiator as female. Could Ra state why this is and how this affects these two archetypes?

Ra: I am Ra. Firstly, as we have said, the Matrix of the Mind is attracted to the biological male and the Potentiator of the Mind to the biological female. Thusly in energy transfer the female is able to potentiate that which may be within the conscious mind of the male so that it may feel enspirited.

In a more general sense, that which reaches may be seen as a male principle; that which awaits the reaching may be seen as a female principle.

The richness of the male and female system of polarity is interesting, and we would not comment further but suggest consideration by the student.

We could tell that Ra was especially glad that we were querying them regarding the archetypical mind as they would adopt a more formal and more grand manner of speech using terms like “O student” and “Nay,” which means “no.” This may be due to Ra’s having developed the tarot in their third-density experience on Venus as a means of describing the nature of evolution as reflected in each of the twenty two images of the Major Arcana. In sharing this information with us they were sharing that which was closest to their hearts on the spiritual path, that which inspired them the most. Just my opinion.

Today I went to Paul’s Fruit Market and bought some Dragon’s Wing Begonias and also some regular Begonias with brown leaves and white blooms. Then I dug up the three areas on the first level, the ground level, of the flower garden in the middle of the Moss Garden and raked it smooth. In the first area I transplanted 12 Dragon’s Wind Begonias with pink blooms. In the second area I transplanted 12 Dragon’s Wing Begonias with red blooms. In the third area I transplanted 36 small regular Begonias. I put a little fertilizer in the bottom of each hole, and then I watered everything that I transplanted today and which I have transplanted over the last couple of weeks.

May 24

Peace, Be Still

I am the principle of infinite compassion which is the love of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in this love.

So many doubts assail your minds; so many self-destructive thoughts; so many stumbling blocks which each seeker puts in its own way through doubt. Let us speak to you of faith.

In all of the ways of existence there are those things which one may question. Yet, undergirding all that there is, is a mysterious splendor of that which was created by love.

The attitude of faith asks no words, brooks no sentiments, and discusses no implications. Faith is that abiding belief that a kindly Creator has a will for each to learn and to grow spiritually and to be of service to others.

Many situations seem quite devoid of that opportunity. Do not be fooled. When you can, show faith. When you can gaze upon the stormy waters and say, “Peace, be still,” within yourself, then you have not dogma or doctrine but a solid rock upon which to stand and the overreaching arms of the Father to protect you, comfort you, and hold you as you walk the steps of the seeker.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 91.19:

“Questioner: Secondly, we have the wand which has been seen as the power of will. Would Ra comment?

Ra: I am Ra. The concept of will is indeed pouring forth from each facet of the image of the Matrix of the Mind. The wand, as the will, however, is, shall we say, an astrological derivative of the out-reaching hand forming the, shall we say, magical gesture.

The excellent portion of the image—which may be seen distinctly as separate from the concept of the wand—is that sphere which indicates the spiritual nature of the object of the will of one wishing to do magical acts within the manifestation of your density.”

In this question Don is asking about the wand in the hand of the Matrix of the Mind, which is also known as the Magician and also as the conscious mind. He wants to know if it signifies the power of the will of the conscious mind. Ra said that the concept of the will is quite apparent throughout this card, but the wand itself is astrological in original, having been added to the Major Arcana that Ra gave to the Egyptians. In later times those of and Mesopotamia added astrological images to the Major Arcana as they were interested in astrology as a predictive science as Ra mentioned in 76.6:

The origin of this system of study and divination is twofold: firstly, there is that influence which, coming in a distorted fashion from those who were priests attempting to teach the Law of One in Egypt, gave form to the understanding, if you will pardon the misnomer, which they had received. These forms were then made a regular portion of the learn/teachings of an initiate.

The second influence is that of those entities in the lands you call Ur, Chaldea, and Mesopotamia who, from old, had received the, shall we say, data for which they called having to do with the heavens.

Thusly we find two methods of divination being melded into one with uneven results; the, as you call it, astrology and the form being combined to suggest what you might call the correspondences which are typical of the distortions you may see as attempts to view archetypes.

In answer to Don’s question Ra suggested that before the wand was added by the Chaldeans the Magician’s right hand was extended, and it made a magical gesture which they described as the “outreaching hand forming the magical gesture.” Ra did separate the sphere on the end of the wand from the wand and said in 96.15, that the sphere should be imaged as being held in the right hand of the Magician, between the thumb, index finger, and second finger:

Fourthly, the sphere may be seen to be held by the thumb and index and second finger.

Ra said that this sphere signifies “the spiritual nature of the object of the will of one wishing to do magical acts within the manifestation of your density.” So the conscious mind can create magic by using the spiritual energy of the Potentiator’s inspiration that has set the conscious mind in motion. In 71.15, Don and Ra agreed upon the definition of magic:

Questioner: Could you please comment on the accuracy of this statement? I’m going to generally talk about the concept of magic and first define it as the ability to create changes in consciousness at will. Is this an acceptable definition?

Ra: I am Ra. This definition is acceptable in that it places upon the adept the burden it shall bear. It may be better understood by referring back to an earlier query, in your measurement, within this working having to do with the unmanifested self. In magic one is working with one’s unmanifested self in body, in mind, and in spirit; the mixture depending upon the nature of the working.

These workings are facilitated by the enhancement of the activation of the indigo-ray energy center. The indigo-ray energy center is fed, as are all energy centers, by experience, but far more than the others is fed by what we have called the disciplines of the personality.

Today I went outside and continued the transplanting of flowers in the flower garden in the center of the Moss Garden. I transplanted Caladium into the top level of the flower garden last week. So today I dug up the second level and then added some dirt from what I dug out of the creek renovation project as I wanted to be sure that I would be able to dig down at least four inches without running into stones. Then I transplanted 24 of the Rieger Begonia, which is new to me. It is larger than most begonias and comes in red, white, and yellow blooms. Then I finished the transplanting in the Yellow Creeping Susan garden with six more plants. My last job was to transplant 18 Angelonia along the front parking area where the Dianthus I had planted last week was not doing well.

May 23

The Touch Of The Spirit

I am of the spirit of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the consciousness of love.

We find this instrument contemplating the lightness of our touch upon its consciousness. Would this instrument wish the Holy Spirit to come upon it in such power that it were struck blind? There are times when the spirit must come upon one or many in the boldest strokes of light and thunder. Yet far more often is the spirit’s influence felt in the light movements of the wind of love’s consciousness upon the texture and fabric of your illusion.

Yet if it is desired that greater light in greater strength strike the life, the pilgrim may seek to condemn, vilify and persecute those things which it does not understand. Then the spirit, soft and sweet, becomes dire and terrible and light becomes awesome.

May your ways be unbound by judgment and may the spirit touch you in peace, now and always. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 91.18:

“Questioner: Thank you. We have some observations on the archetypes as follows. First, the Matrix of the Mind is depicted in the Egyptian tarot by a male, and this we take as creative energy intelligently directed. Would Ra comment on this?

Ra: I am Ra. This is an extremely thoughtful perception seeing as it does the male not specifically as biological male but as a male principle.

You will note that there are very definite sexual biases in the images. They are intended to function both as information as to which biological entity or energy will attract which archetype, but also as a more general view which sees polarity as a key to the archetypical mind of third density.”

In this question we begin to ask Ra what the nature is of each of the Major Arcana of the tarot. Don got high marks from Ra in this query where Ra agreed that the Matrix of the Mind can be described as “creative energy intelligently directed.” Ra equates this to the male principle that they described as “that which reaches” in 92.13:

The Matrix of the Mind is that which reaches—just as the kinetic phase of intelligent infinity, through free will, reaches for the Logos (or, in the case of the mind/body/spirit complex, the sub-sub-Logos, which is the free-will-potentiated beingness of the mind/body/spirit complex)—to intelligent infinity, Love, and all that follows from that Logos; to the Matrix or, shall we say, the conscious, waiting self of each entity, the Love or the sub-sub-Logos spinning through free will all those things which may enrich the experience of the Creator by the Creator.

It is indeed so that the biases of the potentials of a mind/body/spirit complex cause the catalyst of this entity to be unique and to form a coherent pattern that resembles the dance, full of movement, forming a many-figured tapestry of motion.

Ra further said that within the archetypical images of the Major Arcana there are many sexual biases which indicate to which biological sex each of the cards have been drawn to. Ra suggested that these biological indicators also give clues as to how positive and negative polarity are the keys to the nature of the function of the archetypical mind in third density. The archetypical mind describes how we use polarity to advance on our spiritual journey. In 92.20, Ra elaborated on the male and female nature of the Matrix and Potentiator of the Mind:

Questioner: The Matrix of the Mind is depicted seemingly as male on the card and the Potentiator as female. Could Ra state why this is and how this affects these two archetypes?

Ra: I am Ra. Firstly, as we have said, the Matrix of the Mind is attracted to the biological male and the Potentiator of the Mind to the biological female. Thusly in energy transfer the female is able to potentiate that which may be within the conscious mind of the male so that it may feel enspirited.

In a more general sense, that which reaches may be seen as a male principle; that which awaits the reaching may be seen as a female principle.

The richness of the male and female system of polarity is interesting, and we would not comment further but suggest consideration by the student.

In 77.19-.22, Ra revealed how the concept of polarity evolved within the archetypical mind of the various Logoi:

Questioner: Do the Logoi that choose this type of evolution choose both the service-to-self and the service-to-others path for different Logoi, or do they choose just one of the paths?

Ra: I am Ra. Those, what you would call, early Logoi which chose lack-of-free-will foundations, to all extents with no exceptions founded Logoi of the service-to-others path. The, shall we say, saga of polarity, its consequences and limits, were unimagined until experienced.

Questioner: In other words you are saying that originally the Logoi that did not choose this free will path did not choose it simply because they had not conceived of it. And later Logoi, extending the First Distortion farther down through their evolution, experienced it as an outcropping or growth from that extension of the First Distortion. Am I correct in saying that?

Ra: I am Ra. Yes.

Questioner: Then did this particular Logos that we experience plan for this polarity and know all about it prior to its plan? That I suspect is what happened.

Ra: I am Ra. This is quite correct.

Questioner: In that case, you would have, as a Logos, you would have the advantage of selecting the form of acceleration, I might say, of spiritual evolution by planning for what we call the major archetypical philosophical foundation and planning these as a function of the polarity that would be gained in third density. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is exquisitely correct.

Today was a Sabbath Day of Rest. After a short nap I decided to answer a few emails that I have not been able to get to for a couple of days. I began my usual errand run a little earlier today because I had more errands than usual to run. My first stop was at Thieneman’s Nursery to buy more deer resistance flowers to fill in the garden along the parking area where one variety of deer resistant flowers have not done well. My next stop was Feeder’s Supply where I bought food for the cats. My third stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market where I bought food for myself. My last stop was to fill the car with gas, food for Stanley you could say! I also did my usual meditations and reading of the Law of One. And just for a little change of pace I cleaned up some of the small tree limbs that fell in yesterday’s wind and rain.

The City Of God

We are of the principle of the living Christ and we greet you in the full consciousness of love.

For many days the instrument has felt beleaguered and puzzled. And so we turn the mind of the instrument to patience and waiting. There are times during the life experience—and it is designed in just this way—when the overwhelming nature of experience is such that the conscious mind is pulled away from that great, slow rhythm of the consciousness of love. The mind, then, is receptive not to the city of God but to the city of man.

Yet that high and holy hill exists in the world as well as outside of it. And it is in quietness and peace of mind that this kingdom is to be seen. Yet also is it to be seen in the beauty that informs each and every work of God and of man. The city of God, that glad place where man may tabernacle with his Creator, lies within as well as in the world to come.

May each who frets and worries sink into quietness and peace of mind, thus to discover the Holy City and God’s will.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 91.14-.16:

“Questioner: Thank you. One more question before we start on the specific questions with respect to archetypes. Do all Logoi evolving after the veil have twenty-two archetypes?

Ra: I am Ra. No.

Questioner: Is it common for Logoi to have twenty-two archetypes, or is this relatively unique with respect to our Logos?

Ra: I am Ra. The system of sevens is the most articulated system yet discovered by any experiment by any Logos in our octave.

Questioner: What is the largest number of archetypes, to Ra’s knowledge, used by a Logos?

Ra: I am Ra. The sevens plus The Choice is the greatest number which has been used, by our knowledge, by Logoi. It is the result of many, many previous experiments in articulation of the One Creator.”

In these questions Don was exploring the basic nature of the archetypes before starting to ask specific questions on each of the twenty two archetypes. In this first question Don asked Ra if it was common for Logoi to have twenty-two archetypes, or was this unique to our Logos. Ra said that twenty-two archetypes was the most common number in the creation. In his second question Don asked Ra what the largest number of archetypes was, and Ra gave the same answer, that twenty two was the largest number and was the product of “many, many previous experiments in articulation of the One Creator.” In 79.29-.30, Ra gave an example of the beginning of these “previous experiments” regarding the archetypical mind: 

Questioner: Now we are getting to what I was trying to determine. Then at this point were there still only nine archetypes, and the veil had just been drawn between the Matrix and Potentiator?

Ra: I am Ra. There were nine archetypes and many shadows.

Questioner: By shadows do you mean what I might refer to as the birthing of small archetypical biases?

Ra: I am Ra. Rather, we would describe these shadows as the inchoate thoughts of helpful structures not yet fully conceived.

In 78.10, Ra gave more detail about these nine beginning archetypes:

Questioner: Now, I realize that we are on very difficult ground, you might say, for precise terminology here, since it is totally displaced from our system of coordinates for evaluation in our present system of language.

These early Logoi that formed in the center of the galaxy wished, I assume, to create a system of experience for the One Creator. Did they then start with no previous experience or information about how to do this? This is difficult to ask.

Ra: I am Ra. At the beginning of this creation or, as you may call it, octave, there were those things known which were the harvest of the preceding octave. About the preceding creation we know as little as we do of the octave to come. However, we are aware of those pieces of gathered concept which were the tools which the Creator had in the knowing of the self.

These tools were of two kinds. Firstly, there was an awareness of the efficiency for experience of mind, body, and spirit. Secondly, there was an awareness of the most efficacious nature or, if you will, Significator of Mind, Body, and Spirit. Thirdly, there was the awareness of two aspects of mind, of body, and of spirit that the Significator could use to balance all catalyst. You may call these two the Matrix and the Potentiator.

Ra, as a third-density group on Venus exploring the archetypical mind, apparently did not fully appreciate Arcanum Twenty Two, The Choice, until after their third-density experience as they stated in 88.16: 

The one great breakthrough which was made after our work in third density was done was the proper emphasis given to the Arcanum Number Twenty-Two which we have called The Choice. In our own experience we were aware that such an unifying archetype existed but did not give that archetype the proper complex of concepts in order to most efficaciously use that archetype in order to promote our evolution.

And in 91.17, Ra described the fewest number of archetypes currently in use:

Questioner: I assume, then, that twenty-two is the greatest number of archetypes. I’ll also ask what is the minimum number presently in use by any Logos, to Ra’s knowledge?

Ra: I am Ra. The fewest are the two systems of five which are completing the cycles or densities of experience.

You must grasp the idea that the archetypes were not developed at once but step by step, and not in order as you know the order at this space/time, but in various orders. Therefore, the two systems of fives were using two separate ways of viewing the archetypical nature of all experience. Each, of course, used the Matrix, the Potentiator, and the Significator, for this is the harvest with which our creation began.

One way or system of experimentation had added to these the Catalyst and the Experience. Another system, if you will, had added Catalyst and Transformation. In one case the methods whereby experience was processed was further aided, but the fruits of experience less aided. In the second case, the opposite may be seen to be the case.

In Don’s third question he asked what the largest number of archetypes in use by any Logos, and Ra said that “three systems of seven plus The Choice” was the largest number which was the product of “many previous experiments in the articulation of the One Creator.”

This morning I made an errand run to Paul’s Fruit Market to buy two flats of begonias and one bale of pine straw mulch. Then I stopped at Walgreen’s Pharmacy to pick up a couple of prescriptions and some food for me as well as a prescription for Dan D. Lion. After that I was off to Anderson’s Sales and Service to drop off my hedge trimmers for repair. My last stop was at the vet to pick up some more meds for my cats.

This afternoon I drove over to Southern Indiana to visit Connie, a dear friend of Carla’s and mine who has been in this care home for nearly three years now due to suffering two strokes in July of 2019. We had a good time as I read her more from one of her favorite books, Archangels and Ascended Masters by Doreen Virtue. After I got back home I watered my recent transplanted bushes and flowers and then took my speed walk.

Burdens Laid Down In Faith

I am of the principle of the love of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of that divine love.

The instrument experiences much confusion at this time and we find it very difficult to channel through her. The Holy Spirit, with its fiery strength, is perhaps for many a dim voice, heard with confused ears.

We come in the name of love and yet love itself is not a plunderer. Rather, we await the opening of the door of confusion and the removal of inner tension.

There is, in those who are confused, a feeling that all things must be held together by the self. Yet we say to you that there is no swifter road for the spirit to enter than that road made by the faithful seeker who lays down control of a difficult situation and says with a whole heart, “Not my will, but Thine.” Then it is that we who are single as a flame and yet several and multiple as many tongues of fire may come in and lighten the darkness of confusion with love. May burdens be laid down in faith by many this day.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 91.12:

“Questioner: To get back to what we were talking about: would then possibly the different races that inhabit this planet be from different planets in our local vicinity, or the planets of nearby Logoi that have evolved through their second-density experiences, to create the large number of different races that we experience on this planet? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. There are correctnesses to your supposition. However, not all races and sub-races are of various planetary origins. We suggest that in looking at planetary origins one observes not the pigmentation of the integument but the biases concerning interactions with other-selves and definitions regarding the nature of the self.”

In this question Don is asking Ra as to the origins of various races of people on Earth. He is assuming that each race is from a different planet, But Ra responds that more than one race that now lives on Earth could have come from the same third-density planet. Ra suggested that rather than look just at the color of a people’s skin it is more appropriate to look at how various races interact with the members of their own races. Ra suggested that it would be more helpful to look at the “biases concerning interactions with other-selves and definitions regarding the nature of the self.” So I would guess that looking at whether there is equality of sexes would be indicative of a shared planetary origin, as would the customs of inheritance in a family. The grouping of families into clans would be another feature that might link different races to the same home planet. In 90.8-.10, Ra gave more information as to how we might determine the origin of the various races on our Earth:

Questioner: I see. Very roughly, if you were to move a third-density entity from some other planet to this planet, roughly what percentage of all of those within the knowledge of Ra would look enough like those entities of Earth so that they would go unnoticed in a crowd?

Ra: I am Ra. Perhaps five percent.

Questioner: Then there is an extreme variation in the form of the physical vehicle in third density in the universe. I assume this is also true of fourth density. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is so. We remind you that it is a great theoretical distance between demanding that the creatures of an infinite creation be unnoticeably similar to oneself and observing those signs which may be called human which denote the third-density characteristics of self-consciousness: the grouping into pairs, societal groups, and races; and the further characteristic means of using self-consciousness to refine and search for the meaning of the milieu.

Questioner: Well, within Ra’s knowledge of third-density physical forms, what percentage would be similar enough to this planet’s physical form that we would assume the entity to be human even though they were a bit different? This would have to be very rough because of my definition being very rough.

Ra: I am Ra. This percentage is still small, perhaps thirteen to fifteen percent due to the capabilities of various second-density life forms to carry out each necessary function for third-density work. Thusly to be observed would be behavior indicating self-consciousness and purposeful interaction with a sentient ambiance about the entity, rather than those characteristics which familiarly connote to your peoples the humanity of your third-density form.

In 91.13, Ra gave the total number of planets that have supplied the population of Earth:

Questioner: How many different planets have supplied the individuals that now inhabit this planet in this third density?

Ra: I am Ra. This is perceived by us to be unimportant information, but harmless. There are three major planetary influences upon your planetary sphere besides those of your own second-density derivation, and thirteen minor planetary groups in addition to the above.

This morning I went to Thieneman’s Nursery and bought three flats of Caladium, one flat of Yellow Creeping Jenny, and one Clematis vine. This afternoon I transplanted the Caladium into the third level of the flowers at the center of the Moss Garden. I transplanted the Yellow Creeping Jenny close to the Pachysandra ground cover in the back yard. Then I transplanted the Clematis vine on the left side of the little arbor on the north side of the fish pond. After all of the transplanting was done I watered most of the recently transplanted flowers in the front, side, and back yards. My last little job was to put deer repellent around the flower mound in the center of the Moss Garden.

Sins Flee Before Love

I am of the spirit of the full consciousness of love and I greet you in the name of Jesus the Christ.

This instrument has little awareness of true holiness this morning. This is the state of almost every spirit who dwells within the earthly bonds of flesh. It was some time before we were even able to make ourselves known to the instrument and this is an instrument trained to recognize coherent spiritual vibration.

The reason for this is the in-turning of the eye of spirit upon the self in order to bemoan what the spirit feels is sinful or full of error. When each spirit causes the flow of generous love to turn in upon itself in judgment of the self, the flow of love is forced to a standstill within the judgmental spirit.

It is true that there is no earthly body which is not a creature of flesh. And it is further true that many are the follies of flesh and countless their encumbrances. However, to unstop the flow of love it is well simply to release each sin perceived and turn with a glad and simple heart towards the direction of the full consciousness of love. For love does not come into the sinful being but, rather, sins flee before the full consciousness of love.

Do not attempt to groom the self to be ready to receive the spirit of Christ but, rather, open to the spirit of Christ in the knowledge that every strength will be given by that spirit for all errors to be removed in due time.

“Questioner: Were we successful in re-establishing clear contact?

Ra: I am Ra. There was the misstep which then needed to be re-repeated. This was done. The communication is once again clear. We enjoyed the humorous aspects of the necessary repetitions.

Questioner: What occurred when the microphone cords were slightly moved?

Ra: I am Ra. The link between the instrument’s mind/body/spirit complex and its yellow-ray, chemical, physical vehicle was jarred. This caused some maladjustment of the organ you call the lungs, and, if the repair had not been done, would have resulted in a distorted physical complex condition of this portion of the instrument’s physical vehicle.

Questioner: What kind of distortion?

Ra: I am Ra. The degree of distortion would depend upon the amount of neglect. The ultimate penalty, shall we say, for the disturbing of the physical vehicle is the death, in this case by what you would call the congestive heart failure. As the support group was prompt, there should be little or no distortion experienced by the instrument.”

We always had three tape recorders running during each session of the Ra contact because we had failures in one or two on rare occasions. We wanted to be sure to catch every word that Ra had to say, so it was my job to take care of the tape recorders. At the beginning of this session, for some unknown reason, one of the tape recorders started making a grinding noise that was easily audible and would interfere with the recording of the other two tape recorders, so I put a nearby rug over the noisy recorder to silence it. That pulled just slightly on the microphone cord that was connected to the cover just below Carla’s chin.

Apparently this slight pull on the microphone cord was enough to jar the connection between Carla’s physical body and her spirit which was then with those of Ra in the fifth density of the Earth’s inner planes. Ra said that there was some small injury to her lungs, in the form of congestion, as a result of this pull very likely because these organs were the closest to the source of the pull. If we had not re-walked the Circle of One immediately and expelled our breath over her chest from the right to the left, the damage could have been severe, even perhaps causing her physical death. In 91.11, Ra described this situation as the “silver cord reflex”:

Questioner: Why does such a very minor effect like the slight movement of the microphone cord result in this situation? Not mechanically or chemically, but philosophically, if you can answer this question?

Ra: I am Ra. We can only answer mechanically as there is no philosophy to the reflexes of physical vehicular function.

There is what you might call the silver cord reflex; that is, when the mind/body/spirit complex dwells without the environs of the physical shell and the physical shell is disturbed, the physical shell will reflexively call back the absent enlivener; that is, the mind/body/spirit complex which is connected with what may be metaphysically seen as what some of your philosophers have called the silver cord.

If this is done suddenly the mind/body/spirit complex will attempt entry into the energy web of the physical vehicle without due care, and the effect is as if one were to stretch one of your elastic bands and let it shrink rapidly. The resulting snap would strike hard at the anchored portion of the elastic band.

The process through which you as a group go in recalling this instrument could be likened unto taking this elastic and gently lessening its degree of tension until it was without perceptible stretch.

In 1.11-.12, Ra gave us the method to use in “recalling this instrument”:

Questioner: Will you be available for communication? Can we call on you in the future?

Ra: I am Ra. We have good contact with this instrument because of her recent experiences with trance. She is to be able to communicate our thoughts in your future. However, we advise care in disturbing the channel for a few moments, and then the proper procedure for aiding an instrument who has, to some extent, the need of re-entering the mind/body/spirit complex which the instrument has chosen for the life experience of this time/space. Do you understand how to nurture this instrument?

Questioner: No. Could you explain it?

Ra: We suggest first a brief period of silence.

Then the repetition of the instrument’s vibratory complex of sound in your density which you call name. Repeat until an answer is obtained.

Then the laying on of the hands at the neck region for a brief period so that the instrument may recharge batteries which are not, shall we say, full of the essence of this particular field at this time.

And finally, a gift of water into which the love of all present has been given. This will restore this entity, for her distortions contain great sensitivity towards the vibrations of love, and the charged water will effect comfort.

Even under the conditions of what could have been a serious situation those of Ra maintained their sense of humor remarking that they enjoyed the humorous aspects of the necessity of our re-walking of the Circle of One, not just once, but twice. Because the tape recorder and rug were in the path of our walking the Circle of One, I slightly tripped over one of the tape recorders as we re-walked the Circle of One the first time. This was another small action that necessitated the re-walking of the Circle of One again. It’s good to know that I was able to make those of Ra laugh. In 57.1, Ra gave their definition of a sense of humor:

Questioner: Could you first give me an indication of the instrument’s condition, please?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument is under a most severe psychic attack. This instrument is bearing up well due to replenished vital energies and a distortion towards a sense of proportion which your peoples call a sense of humor.

This afternoon my goal was to trim the dead stalks out of the Snowball Hydrangea in front of the house, just outside of my bedroom window, and I also wanted to trim the hedge in the front yard where it was growing too tall in a few places. It would have been helpful if my hedge clippers were working, but they would run for a few seconds and then stop. So I used my 8-foot limb loppers to cut the tallest of the bushes on both the north and south sides of the front yard. It took longer without the hedge clippers, but I was able to get the bushes back into a more even arrangement.

The Spirit Of Adventurous Space

I am of the principle of the love of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

This instrument has been anxious this morning, wondering if the spirit came and went in the night, marveling that rather than feeling porous and full of the spirit she feels hard and flinty as a rock.

Are all who seek so full of fears in the night watches and the mornings when all is not just as would be wished?

We encourage in all who are timid the spirit of adventurous space. Allow the self to expand, not to include new territories but to include space: space within the self; space within the personality; space within the day.

Those spaces may be filled by those whims and hunches which come to one who has allowed space; those hunches and whims that cause one to reach out and express the spirit of love.

It is in small things that the spirit is transmitted from one to another of the children of God. And there is never any holiday from the spirit’s promptings, not in the night watches and not in the morning nor any time whatsoever.

“Questioner: That’s OK. I don’t think that was that good a question anyway.

Now, when Ra initially planned for helping the Egyptians with their evolution, what was the most, or the primary concept—and also secondary and tertiary, if you can name those—that Ra wished to impart to the Egyptians? In other words, what was Ra’s training plan or schedule for making the Egyptians aware of what was necessary for their evolution?

Ra: I am Ra. We came to your peoples to enunciate the Law of One. We wished to impress upon those who wished to learn of unity that in unity all paradoxes are resolved; all that is broken is healed; all that is forgotten is brought to light.

We had no teaching plan, as you have called it, in that our intention when we walked among your peoples was to manifest that which was requested by those learn/teachers to which we had come.

We are aware that this particular line of querying—that is, the nature and architecture of the archetypical mind—has caused the questioner to attempt, to its own mind unsuccessfully, to determine the relative importance of these concepts. We cannot learn/teach for any, nor would we take this opportunity from the questioner. However, we shall comment.

The adept has already worked much, not only within the red, orange, yellow, and green energy centers, but already in the opening of blue and indigo. Up through this point the archetypes function as the great base or plinth of a builded structure or statue, keeping the mind complex viable, level, and available as a resource whenever it may be evoked.

There is a point at which the adept takes up its work. This is the point at which a clear and conscious consideration of the archetypical mind is useful.”

Being a former college professor, in this question Don is asking Ra what their lesson plan was for helping the Egyptians with their evolutionary progress. Ra responded that they had no plan other than simply teaching the basic features of the law of One, that “in unity all paradoxes are resolved; all that is broken is healed; all that is forgotten is brought to light.” In 1.7, Ra shared these concepts in a very inspiring way:

I am Ra. Consider, if you will, that the universe is infinite. This has yet to be proven or disproven, but we can assure you that there is no end to your selves, your understanding, what you would call your journey of seeking, or your perceptions of the creation.

That which is infinite cannot be many, for many-ness is a finite concept. To have infinity you must identify or define that infinity as unity; otherwise, the term does not have any referent or meaning. In an Infinite Creator there is only unity. You have seen simple examples of unity. You have seen the prism which shows all colors stemming from the sunlight. This is a simplistic example of unity.

In truth there is no right or wrong. There is no polarity, for all will be, as you would say, reconciled at some point in your dance through the mind/body/spirit complex which you amuse yourself by distorting in various ways at this time. This distortion is not in any case necessary. It is chosen by each of you as an alternative to understanding the complete unity of thought which binds all things.

You are not speaking of similar or somewhat like entities or things. You are every thing, every being, every emotion, every event, every situation. You are unity. You are infinity. You are love/light, light/love. You are. This is the Law of One.

Ra also said that when they walked among the Egyptians to teach the Law of One they attempted to “to manifest that which was requested by those learn/teachers to which we had come.” Ra first suggested this way of serving others in 18.6:

Thus, what would be an improper distortion with one entity is proper with another. We can suggest an attempt to become aware of the other-self as self and thus do that action which is needed by other-self, understanding from the other self’s intelligence and awareness. In many cases this does not involve the breaking of the distortion of Free Will into a distortion, or fragmentation, called infringement. However, it is a delicate matter to be of service, and compassion, sensitivity, and an ability to empathize are helpful in avoiding the distortions of man-made intelligence and awareness.

Ra then said that any adept will have balanced not only the red, orange, yellow and green energy centers, but the adept will also be working in the blue and indigo energy centers. Ra said that the archetypes create a stabilizing force that keeps the mind complex available, processing catalyst, and learning how it needs to seek further. Ra suggested that it was at this point at which “a clear and conscious consideration of the archetypical mind is useful.” In 91.37, explained more about how the archetypical mind is useful to the adept:

Questioner: So for an individual who wishes to consciously augment his own evolution, an ability to recognize and utilize the archetypes would be beneficial in sorting out that which he wished to seek and that which he found—and that which would be found then as not as efficient a seeking tool. Would this be a good statement?

Ra: I am Ra. This is a fairly adequate statement. The term “efficient” might also fruitfully be replaced by the term “undistorted.” The archetypical mind, when penetrated lucidly, is a blueprint of the builded structure of all energy expenditures and all seeking, without distortion. This, as a resource within the deep mind, is of great potential aid to the adept.

This morning I went outside and used my big mower to mow most of the grass as I thought we might be getting rain by mid-day. The rain didn’t come until the late afternoon, but I am glad to have gotten the grass cut while it was dry. In the afternoon I ran errands and dropped off a couple of short-sleeved T-shirts at an alterations shop to have some embroidery sewn on them that I took off of T-shirts from the ‘80s that wore out before the embroidery did. I also stopped at Kroger’s and did my shopping for the week.

Turn From Your Books

I am of the principle of the spirit of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

Behold, my children! There is a boundless curiosity in you, a drive to know the wisdom and understanding of the universe. And to this end you bestow many long hours on study and contemplation of the divine mysteries.

And yet the language of the spirit is not wisdom but love and it is through ecstasy that teaching is done. Thus turn from your books, you students of the consciousness of life, and stretch out your arms to joy. Moved by the infinite rejoicing echoing throughout the creation, the seeker will finally come to know wisdom by being that which wisdom is, whole and complete, in the consciousness of love.

We leave you in the peace of that love, now and always. Amen.

We come in the name of Love and open our hearts, our minds, and our souls to send love, light, and healing energies to Mother Earth as she brings forth a New Earth in fourth density. We ask that the infinite love, light, and healing energies of the One Infinite Creator heal the heart of each soul in pain on Earth tonight. May all souls on Earth feel our love, light, and healing energies in their hearts, in their minds, and in their souls. Amen.
