I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 87.5-.6:

“Questioner: Thank you. What is the present situation with respect to our fifth-density negative companion?

Ra: I am Ra. This entity has withdrawn for a period of restoration of its polarity.

Questioner: Would you expand upon the concept of the acquisition of polarity by this particular entity, and its use, specifically, of this polarity other than with the simple, obvious need for sixth-density harvest, if this is possible, please?

Ra: I am Ra. We would. The nature of the densities above your own is that a purpose may be said to be shared by both positive and negative polarities. This purpose is the acquisition of the ability to welcome more and more the less and less distorted love/light and light/love of the One Infinite Creator.

Upon the negative path the wisdom density is one in which power over others has been refined until it is approaching absolute power. Any force such as the force your group and those of Ra offer which cannot be controlled by the power of such a negative fifth-density mind/body/spirit complex then depolarizes the entity which has not controlled other-selves.

It is not within your conscious selves to stand against such refined power, but rather it has been through the harmony, the mutual love, and the honest calling for aid from the forces of light which have given you the shield and buckler.”

Along with asking the condition of the instrument to begin a session, Don frequently asked about our fifth-density negative friend to keep track of his workings. In this instance our friend was not with us but was working within other realms to regain its normal level of polarity. Negative entities seek to increase their polarity by separating themselves from all others and then controlling those within their sphere of influence as the means of maintaining and increasing their negative polarity. Since our friend had not been able to stop our contact with Ra, or cause any of us to depolarize and stop offering our service to others, this lack of control depolarized our friend. This forced him to find some other means to regain his lost polarity so that he would have it to use when he rejoined us and continued his efforts to either control the light that came from our contact with Ra or to put it out. In 85.3-.4, we first discovered our negative friend’s problem:

Questioner: What is the current situation with respect to our fifth-density, service-to-self polarized companion, shall I say?

Ra: I am Ra. Your companion has never been more closely associated with you than at the present nexus. You may see a kind of crisis occurring upon the so-called magical level at this particular space/time nexus.

Questioner: What is the nature of this crisis?

Ra: I am Ra. The nature of this crisis is the determination of the relative polarity of your companion and yourselves. You are in the position of being in the third-density illusion and consequently having the conscious collective magical ability of the neophyte, whereas your companion is most adept. However, the faculties of will and faith and the calling to the light have been used by this group to the exclusion of any significant depolarization from the service-to-others path.

If your companion can possibly depolarize this group it must do so, and that quickly, for in this unsuccessful attempt at exploring the wisdom of separation it is encountering some depolarization. This shall continue. Therefore, the efforts of your companion are pronounced at this space/time and time/space nexus.

We were well aware that we would need to call upon the forces of light for assistance in protecting ourselves from our negative friend. When we felt that a psychic greeting was being offered us we developed a ritual in meditation of sending our friend love and light and then surrounding ourselves with love and light as Ra recommended in 44.10:

Questioner: This is very revealing to us. Thank you.

Each of us gets the signals and dreams. I have been aware of clairaudient communication at least once in waking up. Can you suggest a method whereby we might, shall I say, nullify the effect of the influence that we don’t want from a negative source?

Ra: I am Ra. There are various methods. We shall offer the most available or simple. To share the difficult contact with the other-selves associated with this working and to meditate in love for these senders of images and light for self and other-selves is the most available means of nullifying the effects of such occurrences. To downgrade these experiences by the use of intellect or the disciplines of will is to invite the prolonging of the effects. Far better, then, to share in trust such experiences and join hearts and souls in love and light with compassion for the sender and armor for the self.

This afternoon was enough on the chilly side once again that I decided to take my speed walk and then work inside the house on emails that were in my Inbox. I also enjoyed a little extra meditation before taking my bath. The forecast for next week shows the temperatures to be back up in the 70s, so I will have plenty of time then to finish the weeding of the gardens around the fish pond and in the front yard.

The Moment’s Inspiration

I am the spirit, the breath, of the consciousness of pure love and I radiate the name of Jesus the Christ and greet you in its fullness and glory.

When things done by others seem to have been done so beautifully and well, it may seem to the one who beholds that there is no need for fresh inspiration, for that which is and can be held in the hand is already enough.

For spirit, that which is in the past is never enough. For the spirit lives in the moment. Thus it is to the moment that the mind is to be made open, that the freshness and the glory of the creation may astound and stun the senses and the intellect anew each moment.

There is a peace in the resting in beauty that is full of the lively excellence of the word, “love.” May all that you conceive and manifest be filled with the present gift of love, for there is no need to rely upon the past for the moment’s inspiration. Turn only within and seek peace and love.

“Questioner: Is there anything that we can do to make the instrument more comfortable or improve the contact?

Ra: I am Ra. We are pleased that this instrument was more conscientious in preparing itself for contact by means of the careful mental vibrations which you call prayer. This enabled the channel to be free from the distortions which the contact fell prey to during the last working.

We would suggest to the support group some continued care in the regulating of the physical activities of the instrument. However, at this nexus it is well to encourage those activities which feed the vital energies, as this instrument lives in this space/time present almost completely due to the careful adherence to the preservation of those mental and spiritual energies which make up the vital energy complex of this entity. Each is conscientious. The alignments are good.

We would caution the support group as to the physical alignment of the appurtenance known as the censer. There has been some slight difficulty due to variation in the pattern of the effluvium of this incense.

I am Ra. I leave you rejoicing in the power and in the peace of the One Infinite Creator. Go forth, then, rejoicing in the love and in the light of the One Creator. Adonai.”

At the end of each session Don was always careful to ask Ra if we could do anything to make Carla more comfortable as she served as instrument, and if we could do anything to improve our contact with those of Ra. These were like maintaining your car and keeping it in good shape and not just running it into the ground. Ra’s first reply concerned Carla’s usual habit of praying before each session that she be able to serve with all of her mind, body, and spirit. Rarely would she forget this prayer, and without the prayer her body might fall prey to arthritic pain more quickly and cause a momentary wavering of the contact which could lead to an error in transmission. In 22.2, we got the first information from Ra regarding the value of Carla’s prayer before Ra sessions:

Questioner: Secondly, she would like to know why she feels more healthy now after she does these sessions. She’s generally feeling more healthy as time goes on.

Ra: I am Ra. This is a function of the free will of the entity. This entity has, for many of your years, prayed a certain set of sound vibration complexes before opening to communication. Before the trance state was achieved this prayer remained within the conscious portion of the mind complex and, though helpful, was not as effective as the consequence of this prayer, as you would call this vibrational sound complex, which then goes directly into the unconscious level, thus more critically affecting the communication from the spiritual complex.

Also, this entity has begun, due to this working, to accept certain limitations which it placed upon itself in order to set the stage for services such as it now performs. This also is an aid to re-aligning the distortions of the physical complex with regard to pain.

Ra then mentioned that we needed to be careful of Carla’s physical activities as she always had low physical energy, but we had to balance that care with supporting the activities which fed her mental and spiritual complexes as they were the source of her great vital energy. It was often a tradeoff where she would benefit more by going to a physically draining choir rehearsal at her church because it would feed her mental and spiritual distortions greatly by singing praises to the Creator. Even though she might be physically exhausted after the rehearsal, her vital energies would be more enhanced than if she didn’t go to the rehearsal. In 44.13, we received one of the first statements from Ra revealing how sacred music enhanced Carla’s vital energies:

We have spoken before of those things which aid this instrument in the vital energy: the sensitivity to beauty, to the singing of sacred music, to the meditation and worship, to the sharing of self with self in freely given love either in social or sexual intercourse. These things work quite directly upon the vitality. This instrument has a distortion towards appreciation of variety of experiences. This, in a less direct way, aids vitality.

Ra’s last statement about the incense concerned the fact that as the stick of incense burned in its horizontal position in the holder, the position of the smoke changed significantly during the session. This was apparently causing a problem that we eventually addressed by changing to an incense holder that held the stick in a vertical position so that there was no change in the position of the smoke during the session. We never thought to ask why this change of the position of the smoke took 86 session to develop. In 87.2-.4, Don got more information about how a new incense holder might be helpful during the Ra contact:

Questioner: Thank you. In considering what was mentioned in the last session about the censer, I have thought about the fact that the position of the origin of the smoke changes approximately six inches horizontally. Would it be better to have a censer in a single, horizontal smoking position?

Ra: I am Ra. This alteration would be an helpful one given that the censer is virgin.

Questioner: What would be the optimum geometrical arrangement of censer, chalice, and candle with respect to Bible and table and the positions we now have them in?

Ra: I am Ra. Both chalice and candle occupy the optimal configuration with respect to the book most closely aligned with the Law of One in the distortion complexes of this instrument. It is optimal to have the censer to the rear of this book and centered at the spine of its open configuration.

Questioner: Would a position directly between the chalice and the candle be optimum, then, for the censer?

Ra: I am Ra. This is not an exact measurement since both chalice and candle are irregularly shaped. However, speaking roughly, this is correct.

This afternoon was another one with intermittent rain, so I decided to stay inside, after taking my speed walk, and answer a number of emails that showed up in my Inbox today. After I got all of the emails answered I vacuumed the first floor of the house as is my usual Friday afternoon routine.

Easter Is Yours

I am the spirit of the living Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

All the seasons of the outer and inner year are valid. Yet too often we find that you have the fondness for Lent, the interior atmosphere of negation, deprivation, searching and dark wondering. Yet the Easter mentality is yours as well. And we would not wish to leave you without that comfort.

Experience the imprisonment of your captive heart, caught in a net of shadow and wondering. And, at this moment and for this day, release it, insofar as you feel comfort in doing so, into the glad light of Easter. Allow your spirits to rise and life to be resurrected within you. For you have not followed Jesus the Christ only through the suffering portion of life’s great passion. You have gone on with Him and walked the path of eternity. Easter is yours.

“Questioner: I will assume that the veiling of the sexual aspect was of great efficiency because it is an aspect that has to do totally with a relationship with another self. It would seem to me that the bodily veilings having to do with other-self interaction would be most efficient, and those only related to the self be lower in efficiency in producing either positive or negative polarization. Am I correct in this assumption?

Ra: I am Ra. You are correct to a great extent. Perhaps the most notable exception is the attitude, of one already strongly polarized negatively, towards the appearance of the body complex. There are those entities upon the negative path which take great care in the preservation of the distortion your peoples perceive as fairness/ugliness. This fairness of form is, of course, then used in order to manipulate other-selves.

May we ask if there are any brief queries?”

In this question Don was continuing to explore some areas in human experience that he began questioning on in the previous three questions, and trying to determine which ones were more efficient in producing positive or negative polarization. Ra agreed that Don’s assumption was correct that the veiling process was more efficient in producing this polarization when, as in the sexual relationship, it included interactions with other selves.  In 31.4, Ra describes how sexual energy exchanges can lend themselves to either positive or negative polarization:

Questioner: Can you expand somewhat on the concept that this action not only allows the Creator to know Itself better but also creates, in our density, an offspring or makes available the pathway for another entity to enter the density?

Ra: I am Ra. As we have previously said, the sexual energy transfers include the red-ray transfer which is random and which is a function of the second-density attempt to grow, to survive, shall we say. This is a proper function of the sexual interaction. The offspring, as you call the incarnated entity which takes on the mind/body complex opportunity offered by this random act or event called the fertilization of egg by seed, causes an entity to have the opportunity to then enter this density as an incarnate entity.

This gives the two who were engaged in this bisexual reproductive energy transfer the potential for great service in this area of the nurturing of the small-experienced entity as it gains in experience.

It shall be of interest at this point to note that there is always the possibility of using these opportunities to polarize towards the negative, and this has been aided by the gradual building up, over many thousands of your years, of social-complex distortions which create a tendency towards confusion, shall we say, or baffling of the service-to-others aspect of this energy transfer and subsequent opportunities for service to other-selves.

The one exception to this general rule that Ra noted concerned entities who were already strongly polarized negatively. In this case the negative entity would not need anyone else to pursue an attractive physical appearance for itself, which would become another means by which it would seek to control others. Ra elaborated on negative entities’ concern with the “appearance of the body complex” in 66.32:

Physical-complex distortions of which you speak are likely to be less found as fourth-density negative begins to be a probable choice of harvest due to the extreme interest in the self which characterizes the harvestable third-density negative entity. Much more care is taken of the physical body as well as much more discipline being offered to the self mentally. This is an orientation of great self-interest and self-discipline.

In 62.21, Ra described fifth-density negative entities as “very fair” to look upon:

Questioner: When the Orion entity who waits us, seeking the opportunity to attack, is with us here, can you describe his method of coming here, what he looks like, and how he waits? I know that this isn’t too important, but it might give me a little insight into what we are talking about.

Ra: I am Ra. Fifth-density entities are very light beings although they do have the type of physical vehicle which you understand. Fifth-density entities are very fair to look upon in your standard of beauty.

The thought is what is sent, for a fifth-density entity is likely to have mastered this technique or discipline. There is little or no means of perceiving such an entity, for unlike fourth-density negative entities the fifth-density entity walks with light feet.

This instrument was aware of extreme coldness in the past diurnal cycle and spent much more time than your normal attitudes would imagine to be appropriate in what seemed to each of you an extremely warm climate. This was not perceived by the instrument, but the drop in subjective temperature is a sign of presence of a negative, or non-positive, or draining entity.

This instrument did mention a feeling of discomfort but was nourished by this group and was able to dismiss it. Had it not been for a random mishap, all would have been well, for you have learned to live in love and light and do not neglect to remember the One Infinite Creator.

This afternoon I had the opportunity to do some weeding as yesterday we got a much-needed two inches of rain. The weeding always goes easier when the roots of the weeds come out easily due to very wet soil. So I weeded the little day lily patch next to the cross area, then the astilbe patch in the back corner of the yard, and I finished weeding most of the back yard by weeding in the Hidden Garden.

Repentance

I am of the principle of the essential and divine love that is full consciousness, and I greet you in the name of Christ, hollowed out and filled up from man to Christ in Jesus.

This day we encourage each seeker to forgive, accept and, if possible, forget the agony of every misdeed, however tiny or large; every error and every misstep.

The Comforter is not named solely as a paradox, for indeed comfort there is in the knowledge that the folly of man can never equal the comfortable love and divine grace of God in Christ.

We leave you in hope of repentance and new life. In every moment of the pilgrim’s step, such is the reality. Peace be with you, now and always. Amen.

“Questioner: Perhaps you could give examples of use of the body prior to veiling and after veiling in the same aspect so that we could understand the change in knowledge and control over the body more clearly. Could you do this, please?

Ra: I am Ra. We could.

Questioner: Will you do this?

Ra: I am Ra. Yes. Let us deal with the sexual energy transfer. Before the veiling such a transfer was always possible due to there being no shadow upon the grasp of the nature of the body and its relationship to other mind/body/spirits in this particular manifestation. Before the veiling process there was a near total lack of the use of this sexual energy transfer beyond green ray.

This also was due to the same unshadowed knowledge each had of each. There was, in third density then, little purpose to be seen in the more intensive relationships of mind, body, and spirits which you may call those of the mating process, since each other-self was seen to be the Creator, and no other-self seemed to be more the Creator than another.

After the veiling process it became infinitely more difficult to achieve green-ray energy transfer due to the great areas of mystery and unknowing concerning the body complex and its manifestations. However, also due to the great shadowing of the manifestations of the body from the conscious mind complex, when such energy transfer was experienced it was likelier to provide catalyst which caused a bonding of self with other-self in a properly polarized configuration.

From this point it was far more likely that higher energy transfers would be sought by this mated pair of mind/body/spirit complexes, thus allowing the Creator to know Itself with great beauty, solemnity, and wonder. Intelligent infinity having been reached by this sacramental use of this function of the body, each mind/body/spirit complex of the mated pair gained greatly in polarization and in ability to serve.”

In this question Don is exploring the difference in how the body was used prior to the veil of forgetting compared to how it was used after the veil, which separated the conscious from the unconscious mind. Ra decided to demonstrate this difference by using sexual energy exchanges as an example. Ra said that before the veil each entity saw all entities as the One Creator, and no entity was any more the Creator than any other. This allowed the green-ray energy center to be open to all and also allowed for a sexual energy exchange to occur each time sex was shared. But these energy exchanges were weak, and there was almost never any exchange in the higher energy centers because there was no need to process the minimal catalyst in the casual sharing of sexual energy where each entity saw all entities as the Creator and little value was put in the mating process. In 83.3, Ra went into more detail as to how sexual energy transfers functioned before the veil of forgetting:

Let us, as an example, choose your sexual activities of energy transfer. If you have a desire to treat other subjects in detail please query forthwith. In the instance of the sexual activity of those not dwelling within the veiling, each activity was a transfer. There were some transfers of strength. Most were rather attenuated in the strength of the transfer due to the lack of veiling.

In the third density, entities are attempting to learn the Ways of Love. If it can be seen that all are one being it becomes much more difficult for the undisciplined personality to choose one mate and, thereby, initiate itself into a program of service. It is much more likely that the sexual energy will be dissipated more randomly without either great joy or great sorrow depending from these experiences.

Therefore, the green-ray energy transfer, being almost without exception the case in sexual energy transfer prior to veiling, remains weakened and without significant crystallization. The sexual energy transfers and blockages after veiling have been discussed previously.

It may be seen to be a more complex study but one far more efficient in crystallizing those who seek the green-ray energy center.

However, after the veil when a couple engaged in a sexual energy exchange it was far more difficult to obtain such a transfer because neither entity was likely to see itself or its partner as the Creator. Catalyst was far more likely to be produced. When the mated couple was able to clear the lower energy centers by working together to remove blockages, and to increase the commitment to each other, this successful use of catalyst allowed the heart center to be opened. When love for each other was the primary bond, then the green-ray energy transfer became possible. Once this energy transfer was experienced the mated pair could now explore the higher energy transfers as well. In 87.27, Ra explained the nature of the energy that is transferred between a male and female in sexual energy transfers:

You are correct in assuming that the energy of which we speak in discussing sexual energy transfers is a form of vibratory bridge between space/time and time/space. Although this distinction is not apart from that which follows, that which follows may shed light upon that basic statement:

Due to the veiling process the energy transferred from male to female is different than that transferred from female to male. Due to the polarity difference of the mind/body/spirit complexes of male and female, the male stores physical energy; the female, mental mental/emotional energy. When third-density sexual energy transfer is completed the male will have offered the discharge of physical energy. The female is, thereby, refreshed, having far less physical vitality. At the same time, if you will use this term, the female discharges the efflux of its stored mental mental/emotional energy, thereby offering inspiration, healing, and blessing to the male which by nature is less vital in this area.

In the higher energy centers the transfer of sexual energy was potent on many levels. It allowed the Creator to know Itself, as Ra said, “with great beauty, solemnity, and wonder.” If these higher energy center transfers of energy were dedicated to the One Creator, each of the mated pair would be able to increase positive polarity and also increase the ability to be of service to others through their greater polarity. The sexual energy exchanges could be seen by the mated pair as powerfully condensed analogs to the daily round of activities, so that the sacred nature of all exchanges of energy between people could be recognized, whether they were sexual, social, mental, physical, or spiritual. In 73.22, Ra described how Carla and I utilized sexual energy transfers to energize the Ra contact:

The second energy transfer of which we would speak is the sexual energy transfer. This takes place upon a non-magical level by all those entities which vibrate green ray active.

It is possible, as in the case of this instrument which dedicates itself to the service of the One Infinite Creator, to further refine this energy transfer. When the other-self also dedicates itself in service to the One Infinite Creator, the transfer is doubled. Then the amount of energy transferred is dependent only upon the amount of polarized sexual energy created and released. There are refinements from this point onward leading to the realm of the high sexual magic.

This afternoon the rain was as steady as was forecast, and my gardens are gleefully soaking it up. But I decided to stay inside for the afternoon and answer a number of emails that have appeared in my Inbox today. I also washed a load of laundry and ironed the items that needed ironing. I enjoyed the change of pace to my regular routine.

The Springtime Energy Of Cells

I am the spirit of love and I greet you in the consciousness that is Jesus the Christ.

Your feet shall not stand upon the good earth all the day, yet within the mind and within the heart let yourselves never be removed from that primal energy source. Know that every fiber of your sweet planet’s natural growth, as it burgeons into springtime, expresses its energies in rejoicing and that all who stand amongst the flowering may also feel that energy flowing.

And, indeed, all who can turn in mind to that same blooming may experience and be fed by that same joyous, springtime energy, for you are part of the creation of the Father. Feel within each cell the springtime energy of the creature that you are and bless each tendril of new energy, each lighter spring to the step, offering praise to the Creator of these cycles of life. May each cycle of your life spiral you closer to the consciousness of Christ.

“Questioner: There is a portion of sleep that has been called R.E.M. Is this the state of dreaming?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.

Questioner: It was noticed that this occurs in small units during the night with gaps in between. Is there any particular reason for this?

Ra: I am Ra. Yes.

Questioner: If it is of any value to know that, would you tell me why the dreaming process works like that?

Ra: I am Ra. The portions of the dreaming process which are helpful for polarization and also for the vision of the mystic take place in time/space and, consequently, use the bridge from metaphysical to physical for what seems to be a brief period of your space/time. The time/space equivalent is far greater.

The bridge remains, however, and traduces each distortion of mind, body, and spirit as it has received the distortions of energy influxes so that healing may take place. This healing process does not occur with the incidence of rapid eye movement but, rather, occurs largely in the space/time portion of the mind/body/spirit complex using the bridge to time/space for the process of healing to be enabled.”

Continuing his investigation of the use of dreams, Don asked Ra if REM, or rapid eye movement, was the state of dreaming, and Ra said that this was so. Then Don asked Ra why it occurs at various times during the night. Ra replied that work in consciousness such as polarization and the vision of the mystic take place in time/space, or the metaphysical realms. Ra added that this portion of the dreaming process seems short to our perceptions, but in the metaphysical realms the actual experience is much longer. Ra also said that the dreaming experience moves from the metaphysical realms to our physical illusion by using a “bridge” from the metaphysical to the physical. But the healing that is possible in dreaming does not utilize the rapid eye movement portions of sleep. Instead, it is the bridge that links the conscious and unconscious minds that aids in the movement of healing energies to work in the physical illusion. In 86.12, Ra talks more about this bridge and the healing it facilitates:

The activity of dreaming is an activity in which there is made a finely wrought and excellently fashioned bridge from conscious to unconscious. In this state the various distortions which have occurred in the energy web of the body complex, due to the mis-precision with which energy influxes have been received, are healed. With the proper amount of dreaming comes the healing of these distortions. Continued lack of this possibility can cause seriously distorted mind/body/spirit complexes.

In 50.2, Ra talked about the “energy influxes” that move through an entity’s energy centers and which may be misperceived and may be in need of the healing capability of the dreaming process:

Questioner: In the last session you made the statement that experiences are attracted to the entity through the south pole. Could you expand on that and give us a definition of what you mean?

Ra: I am Ra. It takes some consideration to accomplish the proper perspective for grasping the sense of the above information. The south, or negative, pole is one which attracts. It pulls unto itself those things magnetized to it. So with the mind/body/spirit complex the in-flow of experience is of the south pole influx. You may consider this a simplistic statement.

The only specific part of this correctness is that the red-ray, or foundation energy center, being the lowest, or root, energy center of the physical vehicle, will have the first opportunity to react to any experience. In this way only you may see a physical locus of the south pole being identified with the root energy center. In every facet of mind and body the root, or foundation, will be given the opportunity to function first.

What is this opportunity but survival? This is the root possibility of response and may be found to be characteristic of the basic functions of both mind and body. You will find this instinct the strongest, and once this is balanced much is open to the seeker. The south pole then ceases blocking the experiential data, and higher energy centers of mind and body become availed of the opportunity to use the experience drawn to it.

I believe that not only can this energy influx be misperceived and, thereby, cause blockages in energy centers, but the energy influx, or catalyst, is already biased by the unconscious mind. This bias is in conjunction with pre-incarnative choices which would manifest in the appropriate energy center to correspond to the lesson to be learned and would be expressed as some degree of blockage. In 94.11, Don and Ra describe how this biasing of catalyst occurs within our unconscious mind:

Questioner: I have drawn a small diagram in which I simply show an arrow which represents catalyst penetrating a line at right angles to the arrow, which is the veil, and then depositing in one of two repositories: one which I would call on the right-hand path, one on the left-hand path. And I have labeled these two repositories for the catalytic action as it’s filtered through the veil “the Experience.” Would this be a very rough analogy of the way the catalyst is filtered through the veil to become experience?

Ra: I am Ra. Again, you are partially correct. The deeper biases of a mind/body/spirit complex pilot the catalyst around the many isles of positivity and negativity as expressed in the archipeligo of the deeper mind. However, the analogy is incorrect in that it does not take into account the further polarization which most certainly is available to the conscious mind after it has perceived the partially polarized catalyst from the deeper mind.

This morning I was on a podcast with Roland Achenjang where we talked about the nature of the pyramid and how Ra intended that pyramids be used by the Egyptians. As usual when we talk together, we enjoyed making the connections between the infinite Creator and all of the creation in which we live and move and have our being.

This afternoon there was a light rain falling, as predicted, so I did two little jobs. The first was to rake up the striped grass clippings, in the three areas where striped grass clumps are growing, and then putting them in a garbage can with small tree limbs to be picked up Thursday by the yard waste guy. The other little job was to fill the two flower pots, one on each side of the mail box, with more dirt in anticipation of planting more blue peas there next month.

Retreat From A Weary World

I am the spirit of the living God and I greet you in the full consciousness of that love which is the essence of Jesus the Christ.

As you experience these words, experience too the energy and the atmosphere that accompanies them. Feel the presence of the spirit of love moving into your heart, filling your mind, bathing you in light and peace and tickling your fancy to laughter, merriment and lightness. Feel the lightness and the joy of love that is pure, open, giving and unconditional.

This is your paradise. This is your heaven. This is your retreat from the woes of a weary world. Do not lose this place during your experiences this day. Come back into this consciousness and we shall be there, and you shall be consoled, comforted, strengthened and enabled. These promises we leave with you.

Ra: I am Ra. Although there are many which are of some value we would choose two to note, since these two, though not of value in polarization, may be of value in a more generalized sense.

The other function of the dreaming which is of aid is that type of dream which is visionary and which prophets and mystics have experienced from days of old. Their visions come through the roots of mind and speak to a hungry world. Thus the dream is of service without being of a personally polarizing nature. However, in that mystic or prophet [who] desires to serve, such service will increase the entity’s polarity.”

In this question Don asked if Ra could share any other functions of the dreaming process that are of value in our evolution. In Ra’s response is a very interesting concept. Though not of specific value in polarization, just the fact that we dream offers us the possibility of healing of our body distortions. We often misperceive the catalyst that comes to us, and, as we discovered when working with the archetypical mind, this catalyst is given to the body so that we may notice it and work with it consciously. Here Ra said that the simple fact that we dream about such misperceptions can lead to healing of these body distortions. And the reverse is true: if we are deprived of dreams because of lack of sleep we risk more distortions within our mind/body/spirit complexes. In 81.14, Ra described how the body aids our minds and spirits in their growth:

The body is the creature of the mind and is the instrument of manifestation for the fruits of mind and spirit. Therefore, you may see the body as providing the athanor through which the alchemist manifests gold.

Then Ra shared information about how mystics and prophets of old—and here I am assuming old Testament times—could have visions of the future in their dreams. This was apparently due to their spiritual advancement and operated on a periodic basis rather than the rare and unique kind of dream of the future that Ra said a person could have due to extreme catalyst such as the death of the self or a loved one. Ra also said that if these mystics and prophets desired to use their prophecies in service to others, it would also further polarize them in the positive sense. In 24.14 and 24.16, Ra spoke of how the Orion group attempted to pollute the visions of such prophets:

Questioner: Then were there any prophets that we have now recorded that sprung from this era or soon after it?

Ra: I am Ra. Those of the empire were not successful in maintaining their presence for long after the approximate three zero zero zero [3,000] date in your history and were, perforce, left with the decision to physically leave the skies. The so-called prophets were often given mixed information, but the worst that the Orion group could do was to cause these prophets to speak of doom, as prophecy in those days was the occupation of those who love[d] their fellow beings and wish[ed] only to be of service to them and to the Creator. 

Questioner: After making the instrument cough . . .

Ra: [Cough.]

Questioner: Could you tell me if you’re saying the Orion group was successful in polluting, shall we say, some of the positively oriented prophets with messages of doom?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. Your next query shall be the last full query for this session.

Today marks the 38^th anniversary of my moving into this house with Don and Carla. So I have now lived here in my spiritual home on Earth for just a little over half of my life. Considering all of the channeling, meditations, workshops, and loving people that have visited this house over these last 38 years, I would not be surprised if such an investment of love made it possible for this house to become a third-density being at some point in the future. Even before we moved into this house Ra said that it had been blessed by angelic presences. In 19.2, Ra described the three types of entities that become enspirited:

Questioner: Let’s take the point at which an individualized entity of second density is ready for transition to third. Is this second-density being what we would call animal?

Ra: I am Ra. There are three types of second-density entities which become, shall we say, enspirited. The first is the animal. This is the most predominant. The second is the vegetable, most especially that which you call sound vibration complex “tree.” These entities are capable of giving and receiving enough love to become individualized. The third category is mineral. Occasionally a certain location—place, as you may call it—becomes energized to individuality through the love it receives and gives in relationship to a third-density entity which is in relationship to it. This is the least common transition.

This morning, after looking at the weather forecast for rain possible every day this week, I went outside and used some of the wire fence that I put around the perennial giant hibiscus two years ago, to fence some young Hosta plants in the hidden garden. This may be a temporary solution to protect them from deer until I can get a new deer repellant that my neighbor has suggested. Then in the afternoon I finished refurbishing the last section of my Little Locust Creek. I made a little taller embankment, where the creek takes a sharp left turn, out of dirt with medium-sized stones on top to keep the rushing water from breeching the banks of the creek as they often do during heavy rain storms. Then I put the rest of the small stones in the center of the creek and called it a day and a job well done.

The Creator’s Maternal Side

I am of the spirit of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

How very much you need to focus in upon the nurturing, maternal side of the Creator of you all!

How very much you need to be held and comforted, for within each of you there is that brokenness which needs the arms put round, the comforting and the embracing.

We ask each of you to trust in that all-accepting and comfortable love which the Creator has for all of His children. Acknowledge this need for spiritual comfort and open your inner selves to the consolation of the spirit of Jesus the Christ. It is for this reason that this principle or energy has been granted for all times and in all places. We are here for you as you are here for Christ.

“Questioner: Is the memory that the individual has upon waking from the dream usually reasonably accurate? Is the dream easily remembered?

Ra: I am Ra. You must realize that we are over-generalizing in order to answer your queries as there are several sorts of dreams. However, in general, it may be noted that it is only for a trained and disciplined observer to have reasonably good recall of the dreaming. This faculty may be learned by virtue of a discipline of the recording immediately upon awakening of each and every detail which can be recalled. This training sharpens one’s ability to recall the dream. The most common perception of a mind/body/spirit complex of its dreams is muddied, muddled, and quickly lost.”

I started working with my dreams back in 1971, and continued for the next ten years to use the messages I found there to grow in my understanding of myself and my life’s path. Then I took the next 30 years off, shall I say, from dream work, beginning it again in July of 2015, shortly after Carla passed into larger life. In working with dreams it is a good idea to keep a pad, pencil, and small flashlight near your pillow so that you can record the dream as soon as possible. Recall of dreams is aided by giving yourself the suggestion before going to sleep that you want to remember your dreams.  This alerts your subconscious mind that you are serious about receiving dreams that give you clues about the blockages in your chakras and your direction on your spiritual path. In 86.8-.9, Ra said that our subconscious mind is responsible for the content of our dreams:

Questioner: How is the dream designed or programmed? Is this done by the higher self, or who is responsible for this?

Ra: I am Ra. In all cases the mind/body/spirit complex makes what use it can of the faculty of the dreaming. It, itself, is responsible for this activity.

Questioner: Then you are saying that the subconscious is responsible for what I would call design or scriptwriting for the dream. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.

Upon arising for the day it is well to examine the dream as soon as possible to retain the feeling of the dream, and see if you can determine what the images in the dream mean to you. Each of us has a unique language in our dreams with some shared language with others as well. For me, any car or vehicle in my dreams represented my life and where it was going. Females were usually aspects of the subconscious mind, or the High Priestess of the Major Arcana of the tarot. A house or any building in which I could move around symbolized my mind. In 95.18, Ra talked about the language of dreams:

Questioner: Thank you. A question has been asked which I’ll ask at this time. In processing the catalyst of dreams is there a universal language of the unconscious mind which may be used to interpret the meaning of dreams? Or does each entity have a unique language of its unconscious mind which it may use to interpret the meaning of dreams?

Ra: I am Ra. There is what might be called a partial vocabulary of the dreams due to the common heritage of all mind/body/spirit complexes. Due to each entity’s unique incarnational experiences there is an overlay which grows to be a larger and larger proportion of the dream vocabulary as the entity gains experience.

Today was another Sabbath Day of Rest. I rested from physical work, but I did practice my talk that I will give this July to a group in Virginia. I also looked at the questions from a podcast that I will be on this coming Tuesday to see how the pyramids were used by Ra in their contact with the Egyptians. I also made my usual errand run after lunch stopping first at Feeder’s Supply to get food for the cats and birdseed for the bird feeder. Then I stopped at Paul’s Fruit Market to get food for myself.

Comfort Ye

I am the spirit of Jesus the Christ and of the principle of full, creative love. We greet you with thanksgiving and blessing and urge you also to find the blessings in this very hour, in this exact moment which lies before you.

When one thinks with one’s mind and reacts to one’s bodily needs, one is trapped in an area which is finite. Spiritual life is far different. We pray that you may, indeed, be comforted, realizing that the nature of spiritual comfort can be difficult.

For is it not written in the Holy Bible that the Comforter, encouraging the comfort of the people, ate locusts and wild honey and died a petty and horrible death? The Creator’s peace is a peace that knows no end of strife until the breath leaves the body. The principle of love is of this character.

May you find your peace, your strength, and your courage, as though all events, emotions and occasions were far more alike than different.

“Comfort ye. Comfort ye, my peoples.”

Indeed! Words of comfort, ultimately given from the cross. In resurrection we shall see each other face to face and will know each other for the great comfort that we have been, all to each other.

“Questioner: You stated that dreaming, if made available to the conscious mind, will aid greatly in polarization. Would you define dreaming, or tell us what it is and how it aids in polarization?

Ra: I am Ra. Dreaming is an activity of communication through the veil of the unconscious mind and the conscious mind. The nature of this activity is wholly dependent upon the situation regarding the energy center blockages, activations, and crystallizations of a given mind/body/spirit complex.

In one who is blocked at two of the three lower energy centers dreaming will be of value in the polarization process in that there will be a repetition of those portions of recent catalyst as well as deeper-held blockages, thereby giving the waking mind clues as to the nature of these blockages, and hints as to possible changes in perception which may lead to the unblocking.

This type of dreaming, or communication through the veiled portions of the mind, occurs also with those mind/body/spirit complexes (which are functioning with far less blockage and enjoying the green-ray activation or higher activation) at those times at which the mind/body/spirit complex experiences catalyst, momentarily reblocking or baffling or otherwise distorting the flow of energy influx.

Therefore, in all cases it is useful to a mind/body/spirit complex to ponder the content and emotive resonance of dreams.

For those whose green-ray energy centers have been activated—as well as for those whose green-ray energy centers are offered an unusual unblockage due to extreme catalyst, such as what is termed the physical death of the self, or one which is beloved occurring in what you may call your near future—dreaming takes on another activity. This is what may loosely be termed precognition, or a knowing which is prior to that which shall occur in physical manifestation in your yellow-ray third-density space/time. This property of the mind depends upon its placement, to a great extent, in time/space so that the terms of present and future and past have no meaning. This will, if made proper use of by the mind/body/spirit complex, enable this entity to enter more fully into the all-compassionate love of each and every circumstance, including those circumstances against which an entity may have a strong distortion towards what you may call unhappiness.

As a mind/body/spirit complex consciously chooses the path of the adept and, with each energy center balanced to a minimal degree, begins to open the indigo-ray energy center, the so-called dreaming becomes the most efficient tool for polarization; for if it is known by the adept that work may be done in consciousness while the so-called conscious mind rests, this adept may call upon those which guide it, those presences which surround it, and, most of all, the magical personality (which is the higher self in space/time analog) as it moves into the sleeping mode of consciousness. With these affirmations attended to, the activity of dreaming reaches that potential of learn/teaching which is most helpful to increasing the distortions of the adept towards its chosen polarity.

There are other possibilities of the dreaming not so closely aligned with the increase in polarity which we do not cover at this particular space/time.”

In this question Don asked Ra to define the dreaming process and then to explain how it aids the polarization process. Ra began their answer by defining dreaming as a process of communication from the unconscious mind, through the veil, to the conscious mind. They also said that the nature of the dreams was dependent upon which energy centers were activated, which energy centers were crystallized, and which centers were blocked in the seeker. In 51.8, Ra described how each energy center would appear if it was crystallized:

 Each of the energy centers of the physical complex may be seen to have a distinctive crystalline structure in the more developed entity. Each will be somewhat different, just as in your world no two snowflakes are alike. However, each is regular.

The red energy center often is in the shape of the spoked wheel.

The orange energy center in the flower shape containing three petals.

The yellow center again in a rounded shape, many faceted, as a star.

The green energy center sometimes called the lotus-shape, the number of points of crystalline structure dependent upon the strength of this center.

The blue energy center capable of having perhaps one hundred facets and capable of great flashing brilliance.

The indigo center a more quiet center which has the basic triangular, or three-petaled, shape in many, although some adepts who have balanced the lower energies may create more faceted forms.

The violet energy center is the least variable and is sometimes described in your philosophy as thousand-petaled, as it is the sum of the mind/body/spirit complex distortion totality.

Ra said that if two of the three lower energy centers of the seeker are blocked, then the unconscious mind would send dreams to the conscious mind that would focus on recent catalyst that could provide hints and clues as to how the seeker could remove the blockages. In 86.10, Ra gave suggestions as to how the seeker could go about remembering the dreams:

However, in general, it may be noted that it is only for a trained and disciplined observer to have reasonably good recall of the dreaming. This faculty may be learned by virtue of a discipline of the recording immediately upon awakening of each and every detail which can be recalled. This training sharpens one’s ability to recall the dream. The most common perception of a mind/body/spirit complex of its dreams is muddied, muddled, and quickly lost.

Then Ra gave some very interesting information concerning how precognitive dreams may occur for the seeker who has opened its green-ray energy center and especially if such a seeker is about to die or a loved one is about to die. Ra suggested that this type of dream would allow the seeker “to enter more fully into the all-compassionate love of each and every circumstance, including those circumstances against which an entity may have a strong distortion towards what you may call unhappiness.” This statement suggests to me that in dreams the open heart can access portions of time/space which are in what we would call the future and give the seeker such an overview of the life and death process, in relation to itself or in relation to the loved one, that it would be far more able to accept its own death or the death of the loved one. Ra also said that in this type of dream the concepts of past, present, and future have no meaning as they usually do only in the third density as Ra also stated in 16.22:

Questioner: Thank you very much. In previous material, before we communicated with you, it was stated by the Confederation that there is actually no past or future—all is present. Would this be a good analogy?

Ra: I am Ra. There is past, present, and future in third density. In an overview such as an entity may have, removed from the space/time continuum, it may be seen that in the cycle of completion there exists only the present. We, ourselves, seek to learn this understanding. At the seventh level, or dimension, we shall, if our humble efforts are sufficient, become one with all, thus having no memory, no identity, no past or future, but existing in the all.

Ra then moved on to the seeker who seeks to become the adept and has its energy centers red through blue balanced in at least a minimal way They said that such a seeker may call upon its guides and higher self to aid it in the opening and activation of its indigo-ray energy center. I found this basic process of dream analysis to be quite helpful in 1972, when I attended the Adventure Trails Survival School in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. There I learned a technique of self-therapy that used dreams to remove blockages in the energy centers that would allow the opening of the indigo ray. In 95.18, Ra referred to how the language of dreams can evolve for a person who works with their dreams:

This afternoon I began working on the last section of Little Locust Creek to get it to drain water more efficiently. I began by removing all of the stones from the creek bed, and then I dug out about an inch and a half of dirt. My next task was to put all of the large stones on each side of the creek bed to hold the dirt in place while water flows through the creek. I also braced the large stones in place with small stones at their base and hope to finish this work Monday.

Give Thanks!

I am of the consciousness of the most high. I greet you in the realization of unconditional love, the consciousness of the Christ.

The morning has come again. For what can you give thanks? If there is no sunshine to praise, then praise the clouds and rain.

If you cannot give thanksgiving for the plenteousness of water and the shade of the trees in an oasis, give thanksgiving instead to the clean, clear, lucid and deep desert wherein may be found plain answers and the untangling of many a mystery.

If you seem tossed about on the stormy ocean and find that you cannot praise this condition, praise instead the endlessness of that ocean and the infinity and freedom of the water.

For all things made by the Creator are equally to be praised. All moods, feelings and thoughts of those conscious beings whom He made are equally worthy.

Therefore, in whatever condition you find yourself, give thanks. But chiefly give thanks for the Creator which has made all things. For in all things lies love; the love of the consciousness of wholeness, healing and peace which is the gift in embodiment of Jesus the Christ.

May you feel blessed regardless of circumstance, because you are a witness to the creation. You may not understand it but you may praise it in faith and hope, and in that spirit shall you be consoled.

“Questioner: In the last session you had mentioned the properties precipitating from the veiling of the mind, the first being visioning, envisioning, or far-seeing. Would you explain the meaning of that?

Ra: I am Ra. Your language is not overstrewn with non-emotional terms for the functional qualities of what is now termed the unconscious mind. The nature of mind is something which we have requested that you ponder. However, it is, shall we say, clear enough to the casual observer that we may share some thoughts with you without infringing upon your free learn/teaching experiences.

The nature of the unconscious is of the nature of concept rather than word. Consequently, before the veiling the use of the deeper mind was that of the use of unspoken concept. You may consider the emotive and connotative aspects of a melody. One could call out, in some stylized fashion, the terms for the notes of the melody. One could say, “a quarter note A, a quarter note A, a quarter note A, whole note F.” This bears little resemblance to the beginning of the melody of one of your composers’ most influential melodies, that known to you as a symbol of victory.

This is the nature of the deeper mind. There are only stylized methods with which to discuss its functions. Thusly our descriptions of this portion of the mind, as well as the same portions of body and spirit, were given terms such as “far-seeing,” indicating that the nature of penetration of the veiled portion of the mind may be likened unto the journey too rich and exotic to contemplate adequate describing thereof.”

Ra had mentioned in the previous session that before the veil of forgetting was placed between the conscious and unconscious minds that entities were not limited in what they could become aware of by following the deeper roots of the unconscious mind. Much more of the nature of the creation was available to them to use in their daily lives. The unconscious mind communicates with concepts rather than words, so that if one has access to the deeper levels of the unconscious mind there is much information there that not only informs the mind but much which moves the emotions and inspires the spirit. In 30.2, Ra described how our unconscious mind connects us to all of the rest of the creation:

The mind is a complex which reflects the inpourings of the spirit and the up-pourings of the body complex. It contains what you know as feelings, emotions, and intellectual thoughts in its more conscious complexities. Moving further down the tree of mind we see the intuition, which is of the nature of the mind more in contact, or in tune, with the total beingness complex. Moving down to the roots of mind we find the progression of consciousness which gradually turns from the personal to the racial memory to the cosmic influxes, and thus becomes a direct contactor of that shuttle which we call the spirit complex.

This spirit complex is the channel whereby the inpourings from all of the various universal, planetary, and personal inpourings may be funneled into the roots of consciousness, and whereby consciousness may be funneled to the gateway of intelligent infinity through the balanced intelligent energy of body and mind.

When an entity is able to travel these deeper routes into the unconscious mind one finds that “the nature of penetration of the veiled portion of the mind may be likened unto the journey too rich and exotic to contemplate adequate describing thereof,” as Ra suggested. This is a journey through our own mind, and here are treasures beyond compare for enriching our spiritual journeys. In 89.19, Ra speaks of how our study of archetypes can also move us into areas of the unconscious mind where fascinating experiences await us:

Questioner: In that case I’ll ask you: you stated that Ra used the tarot to develop the magical personality. Was this done by the system of learning to become, in mind, the essence of each archetype, and in this way develop the magical personality?

Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect. The clothing one’s self within the archetype is an advanced practice of the adept which has long studied this archetypical system.

The concept complexes which together are intended to represent the architecture of a significant and rich portion of the mind are intended to be studied as individual concept complexes—as Matrix, Potentiator, etc.—in viewing mind/body/spirit connections; and in pairs with some concentration upon the polarity of the male and the female.

If these are studied there comes the moment when the deep threnodies and joyful ditties of the deep mind can successfully be brought forward to intensify, articulate, and heighten some aspect of the magical personality.

We are connected to the entire creation through these deeper levels of the unconscious mind. However, it was found that we are far more efficient in producing enough positive polarity for harvest into the fourth density if all of these treasures of the deep mind are hidden from us. That is because when they are not hidden it is too easy to see the truth of love and unity all around us. There is no great reason to seek further than where we already are. But when all the jewels of the creation are hidden from us by the veil of forgetting we must then search for the meaning of life, and in that search we build the polarity that will take us more rapidly into the fourth density of love and understanding. In 85.18-.19, Ra went into some detail in describing the nature of the unconscious mind and how the polarization process was aided by the veil between the conscious and unconscious mind:

Questioner: After the veiling process certain veiled functions or activities must have been paramount in creating evolution in desired polarized directions. I was just wondering which of these had the greatest effect on polarization?

Ra: I am Ra. The most effectual veiling was that of the mind.

Questioner: I would like to carry that on to find out what specific functions of the mind were most effectual, and the three or four most effective changes brought about to create the polarization.

Ra: I am Ra. This is an interesting query. The primary veiling was of such significance that it may be seen to be analogous to the mantling of the earth over all the jewels within the earth’s crust; whereas previously all facets of the Creator were consciously known. After the veiling, almost no facets of the Creator were known to the mind. Almost all was buried beneath the veil.

If one were to attempt to list those functions of mind most significant in that they might be of aid in polarization, one would need to begin with the faculty of visioning, envisioning, or far-seeing. Without the veil the mind was not caught in your illusory time. With the veil, space/time is the only obvious possibility for experience.

Also upon the list of significant veiled functions of the mind would be that of dreaming. The so-called dreaming contains a great deal which, if made available to the conscious mind and used, shall aid it in polarization to a great extent.

The third function of the mind which is significant and which has been veiled is that of the knowing of the body. The knowledge of and control over the body, having been lost to a great extent in the veiling process, is thusly lost from the experience of the seeker. Its knowledge before the veiling is of small use. Its knowledge after the veiling, and in the face of what is now a dense illusion of separation of body complex from mind complex, is quite significant.

Perhaps the most important and significant function that occurred due to the veiling of the mind from itself is not in itself a function of mind but rather is a product of the potential created by this veiling. This is the faculty of will or pure desire.

Today is the seventh anniversary of Carla’s passing into larger life. Our 34 years together were such an adventure of discovering that there was no limit to how deep our love could grow and how many ways it flowered into the gardens of our minds and emotions. To be able to share our spiritual journeys was the greatest joy of my life, and all of my memories of her are now golden.

This afternoon I continued working on the section of Little Locust Creek that borders the moss garden to the south. I placed all of the middle-sized stones just inside the large stones on each bank of the creek, leaving the center of the creek bed for the small stones that would allow easy movement of water down the slope of the creek. My last little job was to walk on these little stones to embed them more firmly into the dirt of the creek bed.

Cost And Fruit

I am of the principle of the consciousness of divine love and I greet you in radiant joy.

It is the season of Easter, the time when Jesus’ emergence from the earth is held in remembrance and His ascent therefrom rejoiced at. Now is the season of blooming, for just as Jesus grew like a flower from the earth, so too may we see in each flower that resurrection glory.

In this season may you find much to rejoice at, never regretting the cost of winter but glorying instead in the fullness and promise of spring. Such are the cycles of eternal life. The cycles contain different kinds of blooming and different kinds of growing, but always the pulse of cost and fruit.

We leave you in the peaceful harmony of Jesus the Christ, now and ever. Amen.

I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:

We come in the name of Love and open our hearts, our minds, and our souls to send love, light, and healing energies to Mother Earth as she brings forth a New Earth in fourth density. We ask that the infinite love, light, and healing energies of the One Infinite Creator heal the heart of each soul in pain on Earth tonight. May all souls on Earth feel our love, light, and healing energies in their hearts, in their minds, and in their souls. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 86.1-.3:

“Questioner: Could you first please give me the condition of the instrument?

Ra: I am Ra. The instrument’s distortion towards physical energy complex deficit has slightly increased since the last asking. The vital energy levels have had significant calls upon them and are somewhat less than the last asking also.

Questioner: What was the nature of these significant calls on the vital energy?

Ra: I am Ra. There are those entities which entertain the thought-distortion towards this entity that it shall remove, for the other-selves, all distortions for the other-self. This entity has recently been in close contact with a larger than normal number of entities with these thought-complex distortions. This entity is of the distortion to provide whatever service is possible and is not consciously aware of the inroads made upon the vital energies.

Questioner: Am I correct in assuming that you’re speaking of incarnate third-density entities that were creating the condition of use of the vital energy?

Ra: I am Ra. Yes.”

In his usual maintenance question to begin this session Don asked Ra the condition of the instrument. Ra responded by saying that Carla’s vital energies had been called upon significantly by entities who felt Carla could solve their problems. Don asked if these were third-density entities, and Ra said that this was so. Throughout all of her adult life Carla was seen by friends to have a certain wisdom or authority about her that allowed her to counsel others in a way that was usually helpful and much appreciated. Carla was always very willing and happy to provide such counseling as being of service to others was one of her life’s goals. In 22.1, Ra elaborated on Carla’s strong desire to be of service to others:

Questioner: The instrument would like to ask a couple of questions of you. I’ll get them out of the way first. The instrument would like to know why she smells the incense at various times during the day in various places?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument has spent a lifetime in dedication to service. This has brought this instrument to this nexus in space/time with the conscious and unconscious distortion towards service, with the further conscious distortion towards service by communication. Each time, as you would put it, that we perform this working our social-memory-complex-vibrational distortion meshes more firmly with this instrument’s unconscious distortions towards service. Thus we are becoming a part of this instrument’s vibratory complex and it a part of ours. This occurs upon the unconscious level, the level whereby the mind has gone down through to the roots of consciousness which you may call cosmic.

This instrument is not consciously aware of this slow changing of the meshing vibratory complex. However, as the dedication on both levels continues, and the workings continue, there are signals sent from the unconscious in a symbolic manner. Because this instrument is extremely keen in its sense of smell this association takes place unconsciously, and the thought-form of this odor is witnessed by the entity.

Usually Carla’s willingness to provide counseling for others was not a problem of any kind for her. However, in the situation Ra is speaking of here a group of folks which Don and Carla helped to organize into a land-based community had just held one of their periodic meetings where Don, Carla, and I lived. Apparently, at this particular meeting, there were a number of the group members who sought such counseling advice from Carla. This was a much larger drawing on advice and energies from Carla than was usual, and since Carla saw such counseling a part of her life’s desire to serve others, she was engaging in a spiritual pursuit in doing so which required the use of her vital energies. In 63.6, Ra defined “vital energies” thusly:

Questioner: Could you give me a definition of vital energy?

Ra: I am Ra. Vital energy is the complex of energy levels of mind, body, and spirit. Unlike physical energy, it requires the integrated complexes vibrating in an useful manner.

The faculty of will can, to a variable extent, replace missing vital energy, and this has occurred in past workings, as you measure time, in this instrument. This is not recommended. At this time, however, the vital energies are well-nourished in mind and spirit, although the physical energy level is, in and of itself, low at this time.

This is why it was necessary for Carla’s vital energies to be at a certain level in order for her to serve as the instrument for the Ra contact as the “integrated complexes” (of mind, body, and spirit) would need to vibrate in an useful manner” to produce spiritual work. This is also why we eventually decided that sexual energy transfers would be necessary before each session with Ra to ensure that Carla had sufficient energy to give to this metaphysical service as Ra suggested in 68.2:

Questioner: With the physical energies depleted completely should I continue with the session? I’m not sure exactly what that means.

Ra: I am Ra. We have available transferred energy which is due to the service offered by two of this group and, therefore, we are able to continue. Were it not for this transferred energy the instrument, whose will is strong, would have depleted its vital energies by willing the available resources.

Thus if there is no transfer of energy, and if the instrument seems depleted to the extent it now is, it is well to refrain from using the instrument. If there is energy transferred, this service may be accepted without damage to the distortion of normal vital energy.

We may note that the physical energy has been exhausted, not due to the distortion toward pain, although this is great at this space/time, but primarily due to the cumulative effects of continual experience of this distortion.

This afternoon I returned to my work of refurbishing my Little Locust Creek along the width of the moss garden. Today I removed the small stones in the middle of the creek, and the large stones on the south side of the creek by using my tool that I call a hake, as its four tongs that resemble a rake cover an area the size of a hoe. Then I used a shovel to dig out the center of the creek removing an inch or so of soil. My last job of the afternoon was to replace the large stones on the side of the creek that hold the dirt bank in place.

The Messenger Of Love

I am of the principle of living love and I greet you in the consciousness of Jesus the Christ.

I greet you as a messenger sent out before the dawn of each thought in the mind.

I greet you as a new beginning in every moment of the day.

I greet you around trick corners and sudden hurdles. Reach for the arms of comfort in times of distress, for we are there.

We are the principle of love, and as you speak to us of love, we come to you with love. And as our comfort is sweet to you, so is your heart to the Creator, the Father of all things. And so you have the opportunity at each and every dawning to become one with God in Christ through the grace of the spirit of love.

We leave you in the peace and joy which are yours to experience through the birthright of Christ, both now and ever. Amen.
