I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 79.41:

“Questioner: Would the Conqueror, or Chariot, then, represent the culmination of the action of the first six archetypes into a conquering of the mental processes, even possibly removing the veil?

Ra: I am Ra. This is most perceptive. The Archetype Seven is one difficult to enunciate. We may call it the Path, the Way, or the Great Way of the Mind. Its foundation is a reflection and substantial summary of Archetypes One through Six.

One may also see the Way of the Mind as showing the kingdom or fruits of appropriate travel through the mind in that the mind continues to move as majestically through the material it conceives of as a chariot drawn by royal lions or steeds.

At this time we would suggest one more full query, for this instrument is experiencing some distortions towards pain.”

With this question Don completed our first run through of the seven archetypes of the mind. The Conqueror or Chariot is Card number Seven. In this question Don asked Ra if this card represented the “culmination of the action of the first six archetypes into a conquering of the mental processes, even possibly removing the veil?” Ra gave Don credit for being “most perceptive” in this description of The Conqueror which is also called the Great Way of the Mind. Ra said that this card, indeed, was a “substantial summary of Archetypes One through Six.” Ra also said that the Great Way of the Mind represented the “kingdom or fruits of appropriate travel through the mind” as the mind continues to “move as majestically through the material it conceives of as a chariot drawn by royal lions or steeds.” In 100.7, Ra gave more information regarding the lifting of the veil of the Great Way of the Mind:

Questioner: Thank you. We will probably return to this card next session for more of an observation after we study Ra’s comments. To conserve and efficiently use the time at this time I will make some notes with respect to Card Seven.

First, the veil between the conscious and the unconscious mind has been removed. The veil is the curtain, I would assume, at the top which is lifted. Even though this veil has been removed perception of intelligent infinity is still distorted according to the seeker’s beliefs and means of seeking. Would Ra comment on that?

Ra: I am Ra. As one observes the veil of the image of the Great Way of Mind it may be helpful to ideate using the framework of environment. The Great Way of Mind, Body, or Spirit is intended to limn the milieu within which the work of mind, body, or spirit shall be placed.

Thusly the veil is shown both somewhat lifted and still present, since the work of mind and its transformation involves progressive lifting of the great veil betwixt conscious and deep minds. The complete success of this attempt is not properly a portion of third-density work and, more especially, third-density mental processes.

Going back to Ra’s interesting phrase that The Great Way of the mind continues to “move as majestically through the material it conceives of as a chariot drawn by royal lions or steeds,” it seems what Ra is saying is that The Great Way of the Mind is actually creating, or conceiving of the material world that then gives it the experience of the third density. In 29.6-.8, Ra seems to be saying something very similar:

Questioner: Are there any sub-sub-Logos that are found in our planetary system that are “sub” to our sun?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.

Questioner: Would you tell me what one of those— Would you give me an example of one of those, I’ll call sub-sub-Logos?

Ra: I am Ra. One example is your mind/body/spirit complex.

Questioner: Then every entity that exists would be some type of sub- or sub-sub-Logos. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct down to the limits of any observation, for the entire creation is alive.

This morning I listened to the audio that Carla made for Chapter 11 of Living the Law of One 101: The Choice. Carla’s general topic today was the magical nature of our lives. She said that every day is a new day with unlimited potentials, and if we can keep our energy bodies open by processing our catalyst we can become a new being every day. She said that this moves into the realm of white ritual magic that sees the possibility of invoking inner planes beings to aid in the cleansing and protection of a dwelling or a place of working. White ritual magic can also create changes in the consciousness of the magician when they will the changes to occur. She said that any work that you do in life can also be done in a sacred way from washing dishes to vacuuming the house and weeding the garden. She said that the magical personality utilizes love, wisdom, and power to do specific spiritual work such as channeling, healing, or sacred sexuality.

This afternoon I went over to southern Indiana to visit a friend of Carla’s and mine who has been in a care home there because of two strokes that she suffered in the summer of 2018. She likes strawberry ice cream, so I took some along as well as a small cake that we split and put the ice cream on. We talked about what was going on in our lives and enjoyed each other’s company. We weren’t able to have our usual zoom meet with two other friends because of previous commitments on their part.

Stop, Rest And Listen

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

Stop, rest and listen. Let these be the watchwords of your busy day.

Into this day there shall come those sounds which distract the senses, for the world of the city makes powerful noise with its engines and business.

And those who dwell in pastures, plains and mountain farmlands may hear too the distracting noises of nature, that noisy, joyful mistress of the Creator’s manifestation of love and service upon your planet.

Let not these sounds disturb and distract without using this energy to return and to remember love. May each distraction then become a prayer and each disharmony, harmony, by the realignment of the ear to inner silence.

For the peace of Jesus the Christ is not found without effort; without the turning of the will; without the remembering of the heart. Let these be your works when noise disturbs and clamor seems to overwhelm the senses. For you are strong within and, within, you tabernacle with the silence.

“Questioner: I’m sorry that I have much difficulty in asking these questions, but we’re on material that I find somewhat difficult.

I find it interesting that the very first experiment of veiling Matrix from the Potentiator and vice-versa created service-to-self polarity. This seems to be a very important philosophical point in the development of the creation and possibly the beginning of a system of what we would call magic not envisioned previously.

Let me ask this question. Prior to the extension of First Distortion was the magical potential of the higher densities as great as it is now when the greatest potential was achieved in consciousness for each density? This is difficult to ask. What I am saying is at the end of fourth density, prior to the extension of free will, was the magical potential, what we call magic, as great, or the ability, or the effect as great as it is now at the end of fourth density?

Ra: I am Ra. As you understand, if we may use this misnomer, magic, the magical potential in third and fourth density was then far greater than after the change. However, there was far, far less desire or will to use this potential.

Questioner: Now, let me be sure I understand you: prior to the change and the extension of free will—let’s take specifically the end-of-fourth-density magical potential for the condition when there was only service-to-others polarization—magical ability or potential was much greater at the end of fourth density than at the end of fourth density immediately after the split of polarization and the extension of free will. Is that correct?

Ra: I am Ra. Magical ability is the ability to consciously use the so-called unconscious. Therefore, there was maximal ability prior to the innovation of sub-Logoi’s free will.”

In these questions Don is exploring the difference between the fourth density experience regarding the magical potential, both before and after free will was made possible by placing the veil of forgetting between the conscious and unconscious minds. He is assuming that the magical potential in fourth density must have been greater before the veil and free will because each entity saw itself clearly as the Creator. But Ra said that this was incorrect. The reason is that before the veil all entities saw themselves as the Creator and saw the reality of unity, love, and light. So there was no reason to move along the spiritual path because all was perfect where each one was. Only after the veil hid these basic truths was there enough reason to want to better the situation and attempt to polarize and move along the spiritual journey. In 82.22, Ra explained more of how this situation existed before the veil:

Questioner: Then since the only possibility at this particular time, as I see it, was a polarization for service to others, I must assume from what you said that even though all were aware of this service-to-others necessity they were unable to achieve it. What was the configuration of mind of the mind/body/spirit complexes at that time? Were they aware of the necessity for the polarization or unaware of it? And if so, why did they have such a difficult time serving others to the extent necessary for graduation since this was the only polarity possible?

Ra: I am Ra. Consider, if you will, the tendency of those who are divinely happy, as you call this distortion, to have little urge to alter, or better, their condition. Such is the result of the mind/body/spirit which is not complex.

There is the possibility of love of other-selves and service to other-selves, but there is the overwhelming awareness of the Creator in the self. The connection with the Creator is that of the umbilical cord. The security is total. Therefore, no love is terribly important; no pain terribly frightening; no effort, therefore, is made to serve for love or to benefit from fear.

Ra also elaborated upon the classic definition of magic as being the ability to create changes in consciousness by an act of will. In this answer Ra said that magic is the ability to consciously use the unconscious mind. Ra’s definition gives the reason why magic works. The traditional definition simply says that magic works but does not say how or why. The deeper that we go into our unconscious mind in meditation, dreams, contemplation, or prayer the more that we are able to polarize our own consciousness and be of greater service to others. In 22.1-2, Ra explained how this process worked for Carla during the Ra contact:

 Questioner: The instrument would like to ask a couple of questions of you. I’ll get them out of the way first. The instrument would like to know why she smells the incense at various times during the day in various places?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument has spent a lifetime in dedication to service. This has brought this instrument to this nexus in space/time with the conscious and unconscious distortion towards service, with the further conscious distortion towards service by communication. Each time, as you would put it, that we perform this working our social-memory-complex-vibrational distortion meshes more firmly with this instrument’s unconscious distortions towards service. Thus we are becoming a part of this instrument’s vibratory complex and it a part of ours. This occurs upon the unconscious level, the level whereby the mind has gone down through to the roots of consciousness which you may call cosmic.

This instrument is not consciously aware of this slow changing of the meshing vibratory complex. However, as the dedication on both levels continues, and the workings continue, there are signals sent from the unconscious in a symbolic manner. Because this instrument is extremely keen in its sense of smell this association takes place unconsciously, and the thought-form of this odor is witnessed by the entity.

Questioner: Secondly, she would like to know why she feels more healthy now after she does these sessions. She’s generally feeling more healthy as time goes on.

Ra: I am Ra. This is a function of the free will of the entity. This entity has, for many of your years, prayed a certain set of sound vibration complexes before opening to communication. Before the trance state was achieved this prayer remained within the conscious portion of the mind complex and, though helpful, was not as effective as the consequence of this prayer, as you would call this vibrational sound complex, which then goes directly into the unconscious level, thus more critically affecting the communication from the spiritual complex.

Also, this entity has begun, due to this working, to accept certain limitations which it placed upon itself in order to set the stage for services such as it now performs. This also is an aid to re-aligning the distortions of the physical complex with regard to pain.

This morning I transferred all of the Rock Creek Board of Directors yearly meeting records from the old three-ring notebook to a larger three-ring notebook as the meetings in recent years have had more items to discuss and charts and graphs to illustrate certain points. These minutes go all the way back to August of 1981 and our first meeting. When I first joined Don and Carla at the end of 1980, I already had a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization thanks to the fellow who ran the Adventure Trails Survival School in the Rocky Mountains west of Denver, Colorado where his program of Brain Self-Control helped me to activate my indigo-ray energy center. He urged his students to start their own schools after completing his course and gave us the procedure to do so by providing the basic outline for dealing with the IRS as a non-profit organization. So I named my school the Rock Creek Survival School because the access road to my land was a creek full of limestone. Carla and Don had already created L/L Research, so our official title is the Rock Creek Research & Development Laboratories, Inc., d.b.a. (doing business as) L/L Research.

This afternoon I used my Windex, squeegee, and rag to clean the inside of the windows in the area behind the kitchen where my jungle of house plants lives and the two windows in the kitchen as well. After I took my speed walk, my last job was to vacuum the first floor of the house as is my usual Friday afternoon ritual.

The Hardy And Careless Lover

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

What protection have you from the events and circumstances of this day? Do you indeed need protection? Must umbrellas keep you from the rain of internal weather? Must you indeed armor yourself so that you never shiver, so that you are never cold or miserable? Are these estates indeed to be so avoided?

Perhaps it is better to see oneself as a hardy and careless lover of all conditions of life and take no thought for the umbrella, the warm coat, and all the armor of emotion.

It is often said, “Fear not, for I am with you.” We are of the principle of Jesus the Christ. And when this entity said, “Fear not,” He did not suggest that you would not be rained upon or shiver from the cold but only that you would not be alone or overwhelmed by experience.

Stride forth, then, into the world, recognizing its difficulties and affirming them in peace.

“Questioner: The first change made then for this extension of free will was to make the information or make the communication between the Matrix and Potentiator of the Mind relatively unavailable, one to the other, during the incarnation. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. We would perhaps rather term the condition as relatively more mystery-filled than relatively unavailable.

Questioner: Well, the idea then was to create some type of veil between Matrix and Potentiator. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.

Questioner: This veil then occurs between what we now call the conscious and the unconscious mind. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.”

In this series of questions Don is attempting to get a grasp of how the veil of forgetting aided the polarization process in third density. Prior to the veil being placed between the conscious and unconscious minds third-density entities could see the true nature of reality as mentioned in 82.22:

Consider, if you will, the tendency of those who are divinely happy, as you call this distortion, to have little urge to alter, or better, their condition. Such is the result of the mind/body/spirit which is not complex.

There is the possibility of love of other-selves and service to other-selves, but there is the overwhelming awareness of the Creator in the self. And in 82.21, Ra mentioned how this total security caused entities to have to repeat third density many times:

Questioner: Then even though, from our point of view, there was great evolutionary experience it was deemed at some point by the evolving Logos that an experiment to create a greater experience was appropriate. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct and may benefit from comment. The Logos is aware of the nature of the third-density requirement for what you have called graduation. All the previous, if you would use this term, experiments, although resulting in many experiences, lacked what was considered the crucial ingredient: that is, polarization.

There was little enough tendency for experience to polarize entities that entities repeated, habitually, the third-density cycles many times over. It was desired that the potential for polarization be made more available.

So Don asked Ra if the veil made the communication between the Matrix and Potentiator of Mind (or the conscious and unconscious minds) relatively unavailable and, thereby made it necessary for entities to work harder to realize the spiritual truths that the lack of veil made so obvious. Ra basically said he was on the right track, but Ra preferred the phrase, “mystery-filled” instead of relatively “unavailable.” Here is where I Iove the precision with which Ra used words. The word “unavailable” would imply that no amount of work would produce communication between the conscious and unconscious minds because the communication was absent or not possible. But the terms “mystery-filled” suggests that with the right amount of work the mystery might be penetrated, and communication could occur which would enhance the evolutionary process. In 21.22, Ra gave the general outline as to how they communicated with us:

Questioner: I have a couple of questions I don’t want to forget to ask in this period. I’ll ask them first.

The first question is: Would the future content of this book be affected in any way if the instrument reads the material we have already obtained?

Ra: I am Ra. The future, as you measure in time/space, communications which we offer through this instrument have no connection with the instrument’s mind complex. This is due to two things:

First, the fidelity of the instrument in dedicating its will to the service of the Infinite Creator.

Secondly, the distortion/understanding of our social memory complex that the most efficient way to communicate material with as little distortion as possible, given the necessity of the use of sound vibration complexes, is to remove the conscious mind complex from the spirit/mind/body complex so that we may communicate without reference to any instrument orientation.

Questioner: A little appendage to this: Do you use your vocabulary or the instrument’s vocabulary to communicate with us?

Ra: I am Ra. We use the vocabulary of the language with which you are familiar. This is not the instrument’s vocabulary. However, this particular mind/body/spirit complex retains the use of a sufficiently large number of sound vibration complexes that the distinction is often without any importance.

This morning I decided to go to Kroger’s to buy my groceries for the week since I really needed to go there to buy more Windex so that I could clean more windows in the living room this afternoon. So this afternoon I was able to clean all eight windows in the living room, and then I made a trip to The Home Depot to buy some rock salt in case the temperatures drop below zero, as they are forecast to do, before our day of rain stops. Unfortunately, they were out of rock salt, so when I got back I took my speed walk with an umbrella in my hand to keep from getting drenched.

Unexpected Messengers Of Love

I am the spirit of love and I greet you in the consciousness of Christ.

It is given to us to come down like rain upon the thirsty souls of those who seek to winnow light from darkness and spread the darkness in the nether regions, exalting light to shine forth across the great sky of planetary consciousness.

The powerful light-focusing abilities of the spirit are not predictable, for the spirit of love has within It whisperings of love’s wisdom which often turn the impulses of those overshadowed by love in ways which may seem devious. Yet it is love’s way to employ the seemingly crooked path from time to time in order that love may break through in an entirely new place and in a completely new way. The serpent in Eden was a messenger of love.

“Questioner: We have been ending our banishing ritual prior to the session here by a gesture that relieves us of the magical personality. I was just wondering if we should omit that gesture—so as to maintain the magical personality while performing the Circle of One—and then only relinquish the magical personality, either after that has formed or after the session? Which would be more appropriate?

Ra: I am Ra. The practice of magical workings demands the most rigorous honesty. If your estimate of your ability is that you can sustain the magical personality throughout this working, it is well. As long as you have some doubt, it is inadvisable.

In any case it is appropriate for this instrument to return its magical personality rather than carry this persona into the trance state, for it does not have the requisite magical skill to function in this circumstance and would be far more vulnerable than if the waking personality is offered as channel. This working is, indeed, magical in nature in the basic sense. However, it is inappropriate to move more quickly than one’s feet may walk.”

We used the Banishing Ritual of the Lesser Pentagram to cleanse our room in which we held the contact with those of Ra. We did not use a talisman or special clothing to invite our magical personality to manifest in us as many white magicians do. We used a gesture that reached up over our heads with both arms and invited our higher self/magical personality blend with our vibrations for the duration of the ritual as we brought our hands down to our heads and then by our sides. Don thought that perhaps it would benefit the session with those of Ra if we kept our magical personality while walking the Circle of One or even through the whole session. Ra suggested that we should be very honest with ourselves in considering whether we could maintain that level of purity with every thought, deed, and action. Ra said that Carla should definitely relinquish her magical personality because she was not trained in white ceremonial magic and would be more vulnerable to difficulties if she retained it. We all decided to relinquish the magical personality after completing the ritual by reversing the gesture that we had used to invoke it to begin with. In 68.11, Ra said that there were not many entities who could magically defend themselves while in the situation Carla was in:

Questioner: Is the reason that this could be done the fact that the wanderer’s mind/body/spirit complex extracted in what we call the trance state, leaving the third-density physical, in this state the wanderer does not have the full capability or capability to magically defend itself? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. In the case of this instrument, this is correct. This is also correct when applied, almost without exception, to those instruments working in trance which have not consciously experienced magical training in time/space in the, shall we say, present incarnation. The entities of your density capable of magical defense in this situation are extremely rare.

Ra said that the workings that we shared with them were truly magical in the most basic sense of being able to create changes in consciousness. They knew that we were neophytes in the magical sense and illustrated this fact with the humorous descripton of it being inappropriate to try to “move more quickly than one’s feet may walk.” In 87.6, Ra described the situation that we were in as neophytes in the magical sense as we attempted to protect our place of working:

Questioner: Would you expand upon the concept of the acquisition of polarity by this particular entity, and its use, specifically, of this polarity other than with the simple, obvious need for sixth-density harvest, if this is possible, please?

Ra: I am Ra. We would. The nature of the densities above your own is that a purpose may be said to be shared by both positive and negative polarities. This purpose is the acquisition of the ability to welcome more and more the less and less distorted love/light and light/love of the One Infinite Creator.

Upon the negative path the wisdom density is one in which power over others has been refined until it is approaching absolute power. Any force such as the force your group and those of Ra offer which cannot be controlled by the power of such a negative fifth-density mind/body/spirit complex then depolarizes the entity which has not controlled other-selves.

It is not within your conscious selves to stand against such refined power, but rather it has been through the harmony, the mutual love, and the honest calling for aid from the forces of light which have given you the shield and buckler.”

This morning I listened to the tenth talk that Carla recorded for 101. She was dealing with specific applications of the gateway to intelligent infinity and work in consciousness. She mentioned that this work is not necessary for graduation into the fourth density but is available to anyone who has opened their heart in unconditional love at least 51% of the time. She said that the main qualities that are necessary for the spiritual seeker to develop in order to attempt to access the gateway to intelligent infinity is a leap into faith, faith that all is well, and this feeling becomes a mantra that serves us well. She said that this kind of faith gives us the chance to relax and enjoy our lives. As we act in the faith that all is well, then the events in our life happen in a way that reflects our faith. What we think about is what we bring about. We can use meditation as a means to open the gateway to intelligent infinity by setting our intention to be silent and ask to experience the presence of the One Creator. Then the Creator can speak to us in thoughts too deep for words.

This afternoon I used my Windex and squeegee to clean the two windows on the south side of the office, inside and out. I used the last of my Windex to clean the outside of the two windows in the living room that are on the east side of the living room. I will have to do my grocery shopping early tomorrow so that I can buy some more Windex. I also went around the yard and picked up some small tree limbs that blew down in the wind today that brought us sixty five degrees and will bring us a day of rain tomorrow.

Be Of Good Cheer

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

This day is a gift that is full of life. Your senses would have you believe that there is much that is not alive or responsive to the radiance of love. On the contrary, mindfulness of the radiant love of the Father is as relevant and important to the soul’s health in the picking up of a speck of dust as it is in the preparation of the finest treatise or most charitable action.

All things live in the consciousness of love and all things respond to your radiance, which can only come through you as you are mindful of the infinite Father.

Thus, be of good cheer, not compartmentalizing the day or hurrying through a chore which seems less important than another. For all is equally important to the conscious seeker of love.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 79.4:

“Questioner: In that case, she would like to know the function of the energy transfer during the session.

Ra: I am Ra. The function of this energy transfer is a most helpful one in that it serves to strengthen the shuttle through which the instreaming contact is received.

The contact itself will monitor the condition of the instrument and cease communication when the distortions of the instrument begin to fluctuate towards the distortions of weakness or pain. However, while the contact is ongoing, the strength of the channel through which this contact flows may be aided by the energy transfer of which you spoke.”

In the question and answer before this question we found out that the previous session was so long due to a sexual energy transfer between Carla and me. Carla had also asked if it was possible to transfer too much sexual energy, and Ra said it was not. So in this question Don asked what the function of the sexual energy transfer was, and Ra said that it strengthened the channel or shuttle through which their “instreaming contact” was received. Carla and I had discovered quite a while before this contact that if we had a sexual energy transfer the night before a session with Ra that the session would be much longer than usual. In 73.22, we discovered how we had been able to double the energy transferred over a long period of time:

It is possible, as in the case of this instrument which dedicates itself to the service of the One Infinite Creator, to further refine this energy transfer. When the other-self also dedicates itself in service to the One Infinite Creator, the transfer is doubled. Then the amount of energy transferred is dependent only upon the amount of polarized sexual energy created and released. There are refinements from this point onward leading to the realm of the high sexual magic.

We had discovered some time before this session that due to Carla suffering more psychic greetings that further drained her naturally low physical energy, the sexual energy exchange became the only way that her vital energies could be enhanced enough to have sessions with Ra. In 68.2, Ra recommended that we not have sessions unless Carla had received a sexual energy transfer:

Questioner: With the physical energies depleted completely should I continue with the session? I’m not sure exactly what that means.

Ra: I am Ra. We have available transferred energy which is due to the service offered by two of this group and, therefore, we are able to continue. Were it not for this transferred energy the instrument, whose will is strong, would have depleted its vital energies by willing the available resources.

Thus if there is no transfer of energy, and if the instrument seems depleted to the extent it now is, it is well to refrain from using the instrument. If there is energy transferred, this service may be accepted without damage to the distortion of normal vital energy.

We may note that the physical energy has been exhausted, not due to the distortion toward pain, although this is great at this space/time, but primarily due to the cumulative effects of continual experience of this distortion.

This morning I was a guest on a podcast with Alexander McGraig and Sean Rigby who are very dedicated students of the Law of One. They have been having podcasts on the Law of One for the last four years. We had a good conversation about how the Ra contact came into being and lots questions about various concepts in the Ra material.

Then I ran some errands to pick up some food at Paul’s Food Market and some prescriptions at Walgreen’s Drug Store. While I was out I also filled the gas tank in Stanley. In the afternoon I used some Windex and a couple of squeegees to clean the inside and outside of the windows in the front of the office. I am hoping to be able to slowly move around the first floor of the house to get the windows as clean as possible.

The Kingdom Of Words

I am the spirit of the consciousness of love and I greet you in the name of Jesus the Christ.

There is a difficulty in the way in which we make ourselves known through this instrument. That difficulty extends to any who values too highly the citizens of the kingdom of words, for words do not equal understanding, nor is any number of words enough to grant the seeker entry to the kingdom of heaven.

When the spirit of Christ moves purely, It moves without concept and is, rather, the clean, clear wind of Logos, a Thought which remains unmanifest regardless of how many manifestations may shape themselves through free will from the living light furnished by love.

Depend not upon words and, even more, depend not upon created words from within your own being, for there are many ways in which the seeker after truth may build houses which seem to hold truth, houses of words and concepts which rise high yet fall as would cards when the wind of the spirit blows across the construction of your Earthly life.

Seek first the attitude change which comes from the contact with the spirit of love.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 78.38:

“Questioner: I would like to ask the reason for this session having been longer than most previous sessions, and also if there is anything we can do to make the instrument more comfortable or improve the contact?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument was given far more than the, shall we say, usual amount of transferred energy. There is a limit to the amount of energy of this type which may with safety be used when the instrument is itself without physical reserves. This is inevitably due to the various distortions such as we mentioned previously in this working having to do with growing dorsal discomfort.

The alignments are fastidious. We appreciate your conscientiousness. In order to enhance the comfort of the instrument it might be suggested that careful manipulation of the dorsal area be accomplished before a working.

It is also suggested that, due to the attempt at psychic attack, this instrument will require warmth along the right side of the physical complex. There has been some infringement, but it should not be long-lasting. It is, however, well to swaddle this instrument sufficiently to ward off any manifestation of this cold in physical form.

I am Ra. I leave you, my friends, in the love and in the light of the One Infinite Creator. Go forth, therefore, merrily rejoicing in the power and in the peace of the One Infinite Creator. Adonai.”

This was the 38^th question of this session, and any session over 25 questions and answers was considered a long session. So Don asked Ra why this session was so long, and Ra said that the amount of sexual energy transferred to Carla the night before was “far more than usual.” The amount of energy that could be transferred by sexual energy exchange was a function of two things: firstly, the amount of energy created through length of our sexual sharing, and secondly, both Carla and I dedicated the sexual energy transfer to the One Infinite Creator. This dedication would double the amount of energy transferred as Ra said in 73.22:

It is possible, as in the case of this instrument which dedicates itself to the service of the One Infinite Creator, to further refine this energy transfer. Then Ra mentioned that there was a limit to the amount of sexual energy that could be safely used in the Ra contact when Carla’s physical vehicle was itself low in energy and was experiencing pain. In this session her back was already sore, and lying in one position for the entire session had caused that pain to increase to the point that Ra needed to end the session before all of the transferred energy had been used. Ra suggested that it would be helpful if I gave Carla a back massage before a session to try to reduce the pain that she was experiencing during the sessions. In many sessions I would give her a back massage both before and after the session to try to minimize her discomfort there. In 15.23-.24, we first learned about the need to give Carla back massages after a session with Ra:

Questioner: Is there anything that we can do to make the instrument more comfortable? And can we have another session today?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument requires a certain amount of manipulation of the physical, or body, complex due to a stiffness. Other than this, all is well, the energies being balanced. There is a slight distortion in the mental energy of this instrument due to concern for a loved one, as you call it. This is only slightly lowering the vital energies of the instrument. Given a manipulation, this instrument will be well for another working.

Questioner: By manipulation, do you mean she should go for a walk, or we should rub her back?

Ra: I am Ra. We meant the latter. The understanding must be added that this manipulation be done by one in harmony with the entity. Are there any short queries before we leave this instrument?

And, finally, on top of the pain from her back and the normal weariness that she felt after every session, Carla was also suffering the after-effects of a psychic greeting that occurred at the beginning of the session. Don and I were walking the Circle of One to provide protection for Carla during the session, and one of us (I can’t remember which one.) made a small stumble in our walking of the Circle. This stumble was enough to create an opening in the Circle and allow our negative friend to enter the Circle and begin to work negatively upon Carla’s body. Fortunately, Carla was not yet in trance and felt the cold that she knew was our negative friend. So she said that we needed to walk the Circle again, which we did without a stumble the second time. This is how the stumble and the re-walking of the Circle of One went:

Questioner: Was there some problem with the ritual performed that it was necessary to perform it twice?

Ra: I am Ra. There was a misstep which created a momentary lapse of concentration. This was not well.

Questioner: What was the misstep?

Ra: I am Ra. It was a missed footing.

Questioner: Did this have any detrimental effect on the instrument?

Ra: I am Ra. Very little. The instrument felt the presence it has come to associate with cold and spoke. The instrument did the appropriate thing.

Questioner: Could you tell me the condition of the instrument?

Ra: I am Ra. The physical complex is as previously stated. There is some slight loss of vital energy. The basic complex distortions are similar to your previous asking.

This morning I listened to the ninth session where Carla is talking about the indigo and violet rays in her book Living the Law of One 101: The Choice. She began by saying that in order for us to work in indigo and violet ray we need to keep our energy bodies open, especially the first three energy centers. When our energy body is open we can then set our intentions to work in the green-ray energy center for healing, in the blue ray for teaching, or in the indigo ray for work in consciousness. She said that the violet ray is the readout of our metaphysical identity according to the activation and balance of the lower three chakras, but it also gives us the opportunity to access intelligent infinity.

So she said that we need to set our intentions for which activity we wish to participate in and then ask for inspiration and information from intelligent infinity or the One Creator. This type of work is called work in consciousness or disciplines of the personality. She also said that the way to keep our lower three energy centers open is to use the balancing exercises each evening to see what positive or negative catalyst we have experienced during the day that has knocked us off of our steady state of love. She mentioned that judgement, fear, and unworthiness are the types of thoughts and feelings that most usually close the heart.

This afternoon we will hold our Annual General Meeting of the Board of Directors for L/L Research. I always take the minutes for these meetings. There have been so many projects this year in which we tried to share the love and light of the One Creator that it may take a while to make a complete run through them all, even if we only make a brief summary of what each was about.

The Power Of Love

I come upon this instrument as the principle of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the divine love of perfect consciousness and peace.

How strong are your hands, how able your minds, and how you glory in your energies and your abilities! Remove your attention from these things for but a moment and find yourself prostrate before the power of love.

This is a day among your people devoted to love. And each chooses to give love to others. In your prostration, realize the true nature of love, which has not to do with ability or strength or any manner of human usefulness. But rest all your confidence in the infinite compassion and love which is the true nature of that love you so desire to give and receive.

Feel that love and compassion pour through you. Abandon yourself to it and become an instrument of it. And as you receive this consolation, so the face of the earth may be renewed.

“Questioner: The fourth archetype, called the Emperor, seems to have to do with the experience of other-selves and the green-ray energy center with respect to other-selves. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is perceptive. The broad name for Archetype Four may be the Experience of the Mind. In the tarot you find the name of Emperor. Again this implies nobility, and in this case we may see the suggestion that it is only through the catalyst which has been processed by the potentiated consciousness that experience may ensue. Thusly is the conscious mind ennobled by the use of the vast resources of the unconscious mind.

This instrument’s dorsal side grows stiff, and the instrument tires. We welcome one more query.”

In this question Don asked Ra if the fourth archetype, the Experience, had to do with the experience one has with other selves, especially in the green-ray energy center. Ra replied that this was a perceptive observation and that this archetype was called the Experience of the Mind. Ra mentioned the tarot name for this card was the Emperor, which, again, implied nobility. Then Ra said that “only through the catalyst which has been processed by the potentiated consciousness that experience may ensue.” This is the same relationship that the Potentiator of the Mind, the High Priestess, has with the Matrix of the Mind, the Magician as Ra mentioned in 78.34:

Questioner: Would the archetype then that has been called the High Priestess, which represents the intuition, be properly the second of the archetypes?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. You see here the recapitulation of the beginning knowledge of this Logos; that is, Matrix and Potentiator. The unconscious is, indeed, what may be poetically described as High Priestess, for it is the Potentiator of the Mind, and as potentiator for the mind is that principle which potentiates all experience.

Ra completed their answer by saying “Thusly is the conscious mind ennobled by the use of the vast resources of the unconscious mind.” This reference to the “vast resources of the unconscious mind” is again a similar situation as to what the High Priestess has to offer the Magician as Ra stated in 91.33:

Questioner: And finally, the Magician represents the conscious mind. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. We ask the student to consider the concept of the unfed conscious mind, the mind without any resource but consciousness. Do not confuse the unfed conscious mind with that mass of complexities which you as students experience, as you have so many, many times dipped already into the processes of potentiation, catalyst, experience, and transformation.

In 92.20, Ra suggested that it was helpful to study the male and female system of polarity exemplified by these images in the tarot:

Questioner: The Matrix of the Mind is depicted seemingly as male on the card and the Potentiator as female. Could Ra state why this is and how this affects these two archetypes?

Ra: I am Ra. Firstly, as we have said, the Matrix of the Mind is attracted to the biological male and the Potentiator of the Mind to the biological female. Thusly in energy transfer the female is able to potentiate that which may be within the conscious mind of the male so that it may feel enspirited.

In a more general sense, that which reaches may be seen as a male principle; that which awaits the reaching may be seen as a female principle.

The richness of the male and female system of polarity is interesting, and we would not comment further but suggest consideration by the student.

It may be that Ra suggested that we give special consideration to the male and female natures of the images in the tarot cards because of the male and female concepts were the “harvest from the previous creation” or octave of experience as Ra mentioned in 84.22:

Questioner: Before the veil, were there— Let me put it this way: Did the Logos, or did most Logoi plan before the veil to create a system of random sexual activity, or specific pairing of entities for periods of time, or did they have an objective in this respect?

Ra: I am Ra. This shall be the last full query of this working.

The harvest from the previous creation was that which included the male and female mind/body/spirit. It was the intention of the original Logoi that entities mate with one another in any fashion which caused a greater polarization. It was determined, after observation of the process of many Logoi, that polarization increased manyfold if the mating were not indiscriminate. Consequent Logoi thusly preserved a bias towards the mated relationship which is more characteristic of more disciplined personalities and of what you may call higher densities. The free will of each entity, however, was always paramount, and a bias only could be offered.

This morning I finished working with the edits for Chapter 3 of 102 that Austin had suggested might be helpful. This required some significant removal of old text and writing new text in a couple of instances, but I am very grateful for every chance to make this book the best that I can make it. I also worked on the talk that I will give this summer to a group in Virginia. I think I have it pretty well in mind and will probably just refresh my mind with a little work each month. This afternoon I made my usual errand run to pick up cat food at Feeder’s Supply and some food for myself at Paul’s Fruit Market.

Love Overwhelms All Details

I who greet you in the full consciousness of love am of the principle of Jesus the Christ.

It is the wish of love that each of you should partake abundantly in the waters of blessed life and happiness. Yet perfect happiness is like strong wine, excellent to some and too strong for others. For the happiness of the peaceful and love-filled spirit is one rounded with sorrows and other shadows, yet shot through with the gleam of recognized love.

Thusly, even if one gazes at a battlefield or at any seeming disaster, one still has the opportunity to call upon the spirit of love. For in Christ’s name even a blood-strewn battlefield may contain the shape of peace and love. The nature of spiritual consciousness is such that love overwhelms all details and by its warming hues makes glad the hearts of those who gaze upon bleak things. Let your happiness, therefore, lie within the spirit of love and the consciousness of Jesus the Christ.

“Questioner: I was asking if the third archetype was the Empress, and was it correct to say that this archetype had to do with disciplined meditation?

Ra: I am Ra. The third archetype may broadly be grasped as the Catalyst of the Mind. Thus it takes in far more than disciplined meditation. However, it is certainly through this faculty that catalyst is most efficiently used.

The Archetype, Three, is perhaps confusedly called Empress, although the intention of this nomer is the understanding that it represents the unconscious, or female, portion of the mind complex being first, shall we say, used or ennobled by the male or conscious portion of the mind. Thus the noble name.”

We had recently begun formal questioning of Ra concerning the twenty two archetypes in the Major Arcana which comprise the archetypical mind of our Logos of the Milky Way Galaxy. In this question Don asked Ra if the third archetype was called the Empress and if it was related to meditation. Ra said that the Empress was called the Catalyst of the Mind and meditation was only a small part of its nature, although meditation was always helpful in processing catalyst. In 93.8, Ra gave a more complete picture of the nature of the Empress:

Indeed you may, rather, find polarity expressed, firstly, by the many opportunities offered in the material illusion which is imaged by the not-white and not-dark square upon which the entity of the image is seated; secondly, upon the position of that seated entity. It does not meet opportunity straight on but glances off to one side or another.

In the image you will note a suggestion that the offering of the illusion will often seem to suggest the opportunities lying upon the left-hand path or, as you might refer to it more simply, the service-to-self path. This is a portion of the nature of the Catalyst of the Mind.

So it is in Card #3 that we first come in contact with the possibilities of there being two paths: service to others and service to self. These are indicated by the Empress sitting on a square which is kind of white and kind of dark. The white and dark are not distinct which suggests that a choice of polarity has not yet been made. There are more areas of the Card #3 which are darkly colored than are lightly colored, and this also suggests that negative catalyst seems more apparent than positive catalyst. The Empress also looks off to the left as she sits on the square which further amplifies the negative potentials of the third-density illusion. In 97.11, Ra notes that the entity in Card #5 also looks to the left, which signifies that the mind has a tendency to notice negative catalyst, which is true for both Card #5 and #3:

Questioner: The entity looks to the left, indicating that the mind has the tendency to notice more easily the negative catalyst or negative essence of its environment. Would Ra comment on that observation?

Ra: I am Ra. This is substantially correct.

Ra said that the Empress was the first part of the unconscious mind to be used—and thereby ennobled—by the conscious mind. The Magician is the conscious mind, and it processes catalyst that is give to it by the unconscious mind, the High Priestess, and this processing of catalyst is considered a noble activity as it gives value or purpose to the events of the day that become catalyst. Eventually the spiritual journey is enhanced because of this processing of catalyst, and this is a noble quest indeed. In 5.2, Ra gave the general process of balancing catalyst:

To begin to master the concept of mental discipline it is necessary to examine the self. The polarity of your dimension must be internalized. Where you find patience within your mind you must consciously find the corresponding impatience and vice versa. Each thought that a being has, has in its turn an antithesis. The disciplines of the mind involve, first of all, identifying both those things of which you approve and those things of which you disapprove within yourself, and then balancing each and every positive and negative charge with its equal. The mind contains all things. Therefore, you must discover this completeness within yourself.

The second mental discipline is acceptance of the completeness within your consciousness. It is not for a being of polarity in the physical consciousness to pick and choose among attributes, thus building the roles that cause blockages and confusions in the already-distorted mind complex. Each acceptance smooths part of the many distortions that the faculty you call judgment engenders.

This morning I continued to work with the edits that Austin has made in Chapter 3 of 102. I added information on the concept of control to the section of Chapter 3 that was dealing with self-control. I enjoy expanding some of these concepts as Austin has recommended. In the afternoon I finished working with the expanded version of Chapter 3 and will read it through a few more times before sending it back to Austin. Then I went outside and loaded my garden cart with another load of fire wood that I took to my neighbors across the street. They like having a fire in their fireplace on cold evenings, not so much to heat their house, as to simply enjoy watching the fire.

The Softness Of Love

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the consciousness of divine love.

My children, why do you grieve the spirit of Jesus the Christ? Why must you turn from charity and harden your hearts?

This day we ask that each communication between two children of the infinite and most glorious Creator be full of the softness of love and compassion.

My children, do not harden your hearts in any wise toward any soul for any reason but turn from the hardening effects of the surface of things and gaze deeply into the heart of each circumstance to find infinite love abiding therein.

This is a truth found only in faith. May you, in faith, call upon the spirit of Christ.

Don described the High Priestess as intuition and asked Ra if it is the second of the archetypes. Ra agreed and added that the Matrix of the Mind, or Magician, and the Potentiator, or High Priestess, represent the beginning knowledge of the Logos of, I am assuming, our Milky Way Galaxy. Ra described the name “High Priestess” as being poetic, and this suggests the action of the unconscious mind may have a certain rhythm to its functioning as that energetic quality that potentiates action in the conscious mind. Remember, the conscious mind is unmoving on its own. It must be set into movement or action. In 94.11, Ra described the biasing process that the unconscious mind engages in in order to aid the conscious mind in perceiving catalyst in a certain way that is in alignment with an entity’s pre-incarnative choices:

Questioner: I have drawn a small diagram in which I simply show an arrow which represents catalyst penetrating a line at right angles to the arrow, which is the veil, and then depositing in one of two repositories: one which I would call on the right-hand path, one on the left-hand path. And I have labeled these two repositories for the catalytic action as it’s filtered through the veil “the Experience.” Would this be a very rough analogy of the way the catalyst is filtered through the veil to become experience?

Ra: I am Ra. Again, you are partially correct. The deeper biases of a mind/body/spirit complex pilot the catalyst around the many isles of positivity and negativity as expressed in the archipelago of the deeper mind. However, the analogy is incorrect in that it does not take into account the further polarization which most certainly is available to the conscious mind after it has perceived the partially polarized catalyst from the deeper mind.

In 79.20, Ra added a little symbolic activity between the Magician and High Priestess to show more of the nature of their relationship:

The Matrix of Mind is that from which all comes. It is unmoving yet is the activator in potentiation of all mind activity. The Potentiator of the Mind is that great resource which may be seen as the sea into which the consciousness dips ever deeper and more thoroughly in order to create, ideate, and become more self-conscious.

Each of us makes pre-incarnative choices that we hope will move us along our path of spiritual seeking in a certain way, depending on what we have learned already add what remains to be learned. The unconscious mind has access to this programming and will bias our conscious perception of our daily catalyst in ways that enhance our chances of using this catalyst in ways congruent with our pre-incarnative choices. The poetic rhythm of the High Priestess may well be to repeat these themes or choices in a cyclical fashion so that if we miss one opportunity another will come our way as Ra mentioned in 33.6:

Questioner: Thank you. I was wondering if there is a programming of experiences that causes an individual to get certain catalyst in his daily life. For instance, as we go through our daily life there are many things that we can experience. We look at these experiences as occurring by pure chance or by a conscious design of ours, like making appointments or going places. I was just wondering if there was a behind-the-scenes, I might call it, programming of catalyst to create the necessary experiences for more rapid growth in the case of some entities. Is this . . . does this happen?

Ra: I am Ra. We believe we grasp the heart of your query. Please request further information if we are not correct.

The incarnating entity which has become conscious of the incarnative process and thus programs its own experience may choose the amount of catalyst or, to phrase this differently, the number of lessons which it will undertake to experience and to learn from in one incarnation. This does not mean that all is predestined, but rather that there are invisible guidelines shaping events which will function according to this programming. Thus if one opportunity is missed, another will appear until the, shall we say, student of the life experience grasps that a lesson is being offered and undertakes to learn it.

In 88.17, Ra revealed more of the role of the unconscious mind in informing the conscious mind of the contents of the deep mind:

We ask that you consider that the archetypical mind informs those thoughts which then may have bearing upon the mind, the body, or the spirit. The archetypes do not have a direct linkage to body or spirit. All must be drawn up through the higher levels of the subconscious mind to the conscious mind, and thence they may flee whither they have been bidden to go. When used in a controlled way they are most helpful.

This morning I began looking at the editing suggestions that Austin has made for Chapter 3 of my first draft of Living The Law of One 102: The Outer Work. I undertook to make some significant changes that he suggested and continued this work into the afternoon. About mid-afternoon I went outside and cleaned the filters on the fish pond since the temperature was 60 degrees. Then I took my speed walk and vacuumed the first floor of the house when I returned.

Blaze A Trail Of Love

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of perfect love.

This day lies before you, a verdant pasture, a flowering field. Though pathways there are through the wildwood and meadow, yet you may choose your own way and be the first to beat a new trail if those that lie before you do not lead whither you would wish.

There is always more possibility in a situation viewed from the standpoint of love than in a situation viewed from the condition of humankind. Look up at the golden sun that lights the morning pasture of your day and realize that its perfection lies with you and your perfection with it.

The spirit enlivens, enhances and offers each choice that shall be deemed good and necessary by you. May you walk without fear but with the comfort of our companionship into the creative and exciting land wherein each footstep blazes a trail of love.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 78.33:

“Questioner: It just seemed to me that since the planets were an outgrowth of the Logos, and since the archetypical mind was the foundation for the experience, that the planets of this Logos would be in some way related. We will certainly follow your suggestion.

I have been trying to get a foothold into an undistorted doorway, you might say, into the archetypical mind. It seems to me that everything that I have read having to do with archetypes is, to some degree or another, distorted by those who have written, and the fact that our language is not really capable of description.

You have spoken of the Magician as a basic archetype, and that this seems to have been carried through from the previous octave. Would this then be, if there is an order, the first archetypical concept of this Logos?

Ra: I am Ra. We would first respond to your confusion as regards the various writings upon the archetypical mind.

You may well consider the very informative difference between a thing in itself and its relationships or functions. There is much study of archetype which is actually the study of functions, relationships, and correspondences. The study of planets, for instance, is an example of archetype seen as function. However, the archetypes are, first and most profoundly, things in themselves, and the pondering of them and their purest relationships with each other should be the most useful foundation for the study of the archetypical mind.

We now address your query as to the archetype which is the Matrix of the Mind. As to its name, the name of Magician is understandable when you consider that consciousness is the great foundation, mystery, and revelation which makes this particular density possible. The self-conscious entity is full of the magic of that which is to come. It may be considered first, for the mind is the first of the complexes to be developed by the student of spiritual evolution.”

Don is at the beginning stage of our exploration into the archetypical mind and is trying to put together the great variety of writings that attempt to describe some of these archetypes. In response to Don’s comments about the various writings on archetypes, Ra tried to make this study more accessible by suggesting that “there is much study of archetype which is actually the study of functions, relationships, and correspondences.” Ra gave astrology as an example of the relationships between the various planets and their effect on us in our life patterns. This is not the portion of archetypes that Ra sought to share with us in the beginning of our study. In 76.6, Ra gave more background as to the study of the tarot originating in Egypt and of astrology originating in Ur, Chaldea, and Mesopotamia:

Questioner: Sorry we have had such a long delay between the last session and this one. It couldn’t be helped, I guess. Could you please tell me the origin of the tarot?

Ra: I am Ra. The origin of this system of study and divination is twofold: firstly, there is that influence which, coming in a distorted fashion from those who were priests attempting to teach the Law of One in Egypt, gave form to the understanding, if you will pardon the misnomer, which they had received. These forms were then made a regular portion of the learn/teachings of an initiate.

The second influence is that of those entities in the lands you call Ur, Chaldea, and Mesopotamia who, from old, had received the, shall we say, data for which they called having to do with the heavens.

Thusly we find two methods of divination being melded into one with uneven results; the, as you call it, astrology and the form being combined to suggest what you might call the correspondences which are typical of the distortions you may see as attempts to view archetypes.

Ra’s initial intentions in giving us information about the archetypes is to define them as things in themselves. Each archetype has a definite and unique signature and beingness. So Ra recommended that we concentrate on discovering what was the nature of each archetype and how each archetype related to the other 21 archetypes. These interrelationships are basic to our grasping the nature of our evolution through the densities into unity with the One Creator. In 88.17, Ra described in some detail how each archetype was a “thing in itself”:

The archetypical mind is a great and fundamental portion of the mind complex, one of its most basic elements and one of the richest sources of information for the seeker of the One Infinite Creator. To attempt to condense the archetypes is to make an erroneous attempt. Each archetype is a significant ding an sich, or thing in itself, with its own complex of concepts.

While it is informative to survey the relationships of one archetype to another, it can be said that this line of inquiry is secondary to the discovery of the purest gestalt or vision or melody which each archetype signifies to both the intellectual and intuitive mind.

The Significators of Mind, Body, and Spirit complexes are complex in and of themselves; and the archetypes of Catalyst, Experience, Transformation, and the Great Way are most fruitfully viewed as independent complexes which have their own melodies with which they may inform the mind of its nature.

We ask that you consider that the archetypical mind informs those thoughts which then may have bearing upon the mind, the body, or the spirit. The archetypes do not have a direct linkage to body or spirit. All must be drawn up through the higher levels of the subconscious mind to the conscious mind, and thence they may flee whither they have been bidden to go. When used in a controlled way they are most helpful.

Previously Ra had mentioned the Matrix of the Mind, the Magician, was one of the basic archetypes carried forth into this octave of experience from its origin within the previous octave of experience. So in this question Don asked if the Magician should be considered first in our studies. Ra replied by suggesting that the Magician was “the great foundation, mystery, and revelation which makes this particular density possible.” So Ra recommended that we study the Magician first because all of us, as self-conscious students of our own evolution, are “full of the mystery of that which is to come.” In 82.12, Ra gave some basic information as to how the consciousness of the Creator is reflected in the Logos, or Love, and is also available for us as “self-conscious sub-Logoi:

A very great deal of creation was manifested without the use of the concepts involved in consciousness, as you know it. The creation itself is a form of consciousness which is unified—the Logos being the one great heart of creation.

The process of evolution through this period, which may be seen to be timeless, is most valuable to take into consideration, for it is against the background of this essential unity of the fabric of creation that we find the ultimate development of the Logoi which chose to use that portion of the harvested consciousness to move forward with the process of knowledge of self.

As it had been found to be efficient to use the various densities, which are fixed in each octave, in order to create conditions in which self-conscious sub-Logoi could exist, this was carried out throughout the growing flower-strewn field, as your simile suggests, of the One Infinite Creation.

This afternoon I had my yearly physical exam at my doctor’s office. Since it was at 3:30 I had to change my usual schedule around and take my speed walk and bath in the morning. Then in the early afternoon I went to Kroger’s to buy another week’s worth of groceries. On the way home I picked up a prescription at Walgreen’s. After unloading my groceries, I headed off to my doctor with one last stop at my eye doctor’s office to replace one of the two little nose pieces on my glasses that somehow came off and got lost. When I got to my doctor’s office she said that my labs looked good and she saw no problems anywhere. So I guess that I am still her healthiest patient.

Smoke And Ashes

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

A spark goes forth from the dying embers of the fire of useless thoughts. It flies to the barren ground of the unhearing ear and dies. And all the energy that has been expended is that which has produced only smoke and ashes. This is the material of which much of your experience consists.

Consider well that for which you shall feel passion; that for which you shall generate love; that which shall create in you the flame, the embers, and the spark.

Consider also the ground upon which you choose to build the fire of your caring, your service, and your love. For truly do you wish to serve. And truly shall each ember shoot forth those sparks which may, in turn, breed fires of love.

Choose you the ready ground. Choose, in your thoughts, thoughts that temper your spirit, strengthen your love, and bring you into the consciousness of Jesus the Christ.

May the fire of your spirit burn clear and bright and may each dying thought produce bountiful fruit.
