I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 78.29:

“Questioner: I understand your limitations in answering that. Thank you.

Could you tell me how, in first density, wind and fire teach earth and water?

Ra: I am Ra. You may see the air and [fire] of that which is chaos as literally illuminating and forming the formless, for earth and water were, in the timeless state, unformed.

As the active principles of fire and air blow and burn incandescently about that which nurtures that which is to come, the water learns to become sea, lake, and river, offering the opportunity for viable life. The earth learns to be shaped, thus offering the opportunity for viable life.”

In this question Don asked Ra how, in the first density, wind and fire teach earth and water. This question came from 13.16, when Ra first mentioned the teaching aspect of wind and fire:

Questioner: Could you tell me about this first density of planetary entities?

Ra: I am Ra. Each step recapitulates intelligent infinity in its discovery of awareness. In a planetary environment, all begins in what you would call chaos, energy undirected and random in its infinity. Slowly, in your terms of understanding, there forms a focus of self-awareness. Thus the Logos moves. Light comes to form the darkness according to the co-Creator’s patterns and vibratory rhythms, so constructing a certain type of experience.

This begins with first density which is the density of consciousness, the mineral and water life upon the planet learning from fire and wind the awareness of being. This is the first density.

And that question came from 9.5, when Don asked Ra about the first entities on Earth:

Questioner: The original, the first entities on this planet . . . what was their origin? Where were they before they were on this planet?

Ra: I am Ra. The first entities upon this planet were water, fire, air and earth.

Ra called wind and fire active principles which presumes that earth and water would be passive principles that will be acted upon by wind and fire. It is hard to imagine what earth and water appeared like when unformed. In 13.15, Ra gave the overview of how the first density upon a planet like Earth comes into being:

Questioner: Primarily, then, how the, shall we say, the planetary system that we are in now evolved—was it all created at once, or was there first our sun created and this [inaudible] was created?

Ra: I am Ra. The process is from the larger, in your illusion, to the smaller. Thus the co-Creator, individualizing the galaxy, created energy patterns which then focused in multitudinous focuses of further conscious awareness of intelligent infinity. Thus, the solar system of which you experience inhabitation is of its own patterns, rhythms, and so-called natural laws which are unique to itself. However, the progression is from the galaxy spiraling energy, to the solar spiraling energy, to the planetary spiraling energy, to the experiential circumstances of spiraling energy which begin the first density of awareness, or consciousness, of planetary entities.

This morning I listened to another of Carla’s synopses of her Living the Law of One 101: The Choice. She was talking about the blue-ray chakra. Unlike the heart chakra that can be shut down if we contract our lower chakras, the blue-ray chakra cannot be stopped from telling our truth in blue-ray clarity and honesty because it also includes the unconditional love of the heart chakra. This is where we begin to express more of the One Creator in our lives, and she said that we can even use our blue-ray chakras to talk to ourselves in a therapeutic way. When we feel it is necessary, we can re-evaluate our life-long assumptions on various topics of mental, emotional, and spiritual behaviors and beliefs.

I have also spent a good deal of time this afternoon getting ready for our channeling circle this evening. Mostly, I just have to do my regular round of activities a little earlier in order to be ready to host the circle at 5 pm. Tonight we will each take a separate question and channel Q’uo’s response to it.

The Work Of The Spirit

We greet you in the name of Jesus the Christ and in the full consciousness of that love which creates and sustains all created things.

We are a principle and a thought and yet there are no two situations in which our breath moves in an identical manner to any other situation. For at one time it is the spirit’s work to awaken and at another time to soothe; at one time to brighten and at another time to point in shadow for the more subtle understanding.

Nay, it is not the activity which can be described which characterizes the energy of the consciousness of love but rather the life within that unique wind which blows over the situation which characterizes the nature of the spirit. For the spirit utters life when It speaks. Look, then, to the life-giving spirit. For all things are dead save in Christ.

“Questioner: Then you are saying as a result of the polarization in consciousness that has occurred later in the galactic evolution, that the experiences are much more, shall I say, profound or deeper along the two paths. Are these experiences independent of the other path, or must there be action across the potentiated difference between the positive and negative polarity? Or is it possible to have this experience simply because of the single polarity? This is difficult to ask.

Ra: I am Ra. We would agree. We shall attempt to pluck the gist of your query from the surrounding verbiage.

The fourth and fifth densities are quite independent, the positive polarity functioning with no need of negative and vice-versa.

It is to be noted that in attempting to sway third-density mind/body/spirit complexes in choosing polarity there evolves a good bit of interaction between the two polarities.

In sixth density, the density of unity, the positive and negative paths must needs take in each other, for all now must be seen as love/light and light/love. This is not difficult for the positive polarity which sends love and light to all other-selves. It is difficult enough for service-to-self polarized entities that, at some point, the negative polarity is abandoned.”

In this question Don wanted to know if the higher density entities needed to have contact with each other in order to increase in polarity, or if they could increase their polarity without interacting with each other. Ra said that both the positive and the negatively polarities can progress without an interaction although when each was dealing with the third-density entities, according to their call for assistance, that a good deal of interaction occurs. For example, when the population of Earth has given out a call for assistance for positive aid throughout its history there has been the necessity of a balance of opportunity for Earth to receive as much potential negative aid as it receives of positive aid. There must always be a balance of opportunity in order for the free will of all Earth’s people to be respected. In 67.19-.20, Ra gave the example of our fifth-density negative friend’s presence in our channeling of Ra as reflecting this balance of positive and negative opportunities:

Questioner: I will ask about that in a later session—since I don’t want to get off the track—because it has something to do with the mechanics of time, which I am very puzzled about.

But I would ask then: the fifth-density entity in coming here to offer us service, as you mentioned, penetrated the quarantine. Was this done through one of the windows, or was this because of his, shall I say, magical ability?

Ra: I am Ra. This was done through a very slight window which less magically oriented entities or groups could not have used to advantage.

Questioner: Now, the main point of this line of questioning has to do with the First Distortion and the fact that this window existed. Was this, shall I say, a portion of the random window effect? And are we experiencing the same type of balancing in receiving the offerings of this entity as the planet in general receives because of the window effect?

Ra: I am Ra. This is precisely correct. As the planetary sphere accepts more highly evolved positive entities or groups with information to offer, the same opportunity must be offered to similarly wise negatively oriented entities or groups.

And the call doesn’t even be a conscious calling for assistance. It can be subconsciously made as a culture, or group, encounters difficulties in progressing along its chosen path. This is why another name for the Confederation is the Brother and Sisters of Sorrow. When they hear people on a planet like Earth suffering and calling for assistance it is as though a portion of their own bodies is in pain as Ra alluded to in 14.18:

The general cause of service such as the Confederation offers is that of the primal distortion of the Law of One, which is service. The One Being of the creation is like unto a body, if you will accept this third-density analogy. Would we ignore a pain in the leg? A bruise upon the skin? A cut which is festering? No. There is no ignoring a call. We, the entities of sorrow, choose as our service the attempt to heal the sorrow which we are calling analogous to the pains of a physical body complex distortion.

Speaking of pain, the need for the negative polarity to reverse its polarity at early in the sixth density has got to be a painful experience, at least in the beginning of it, I would think. For millions of years the negative entities have been following the path of service to self which is based upon the concepts of separation of self from other selves and controlling other selves. But, in truth, there is no separation, for all are truly one, and this is why Ra calls the service-to-self path the path of “that which is not,” i.e. separation and in 36.15, Ra explained the necessity of negative entities reversing their polarity in the sixth density:

The sixth-density negative entity is extremely wise. It observes the spiritual entropy occurring due to the lack of ability to express the unity of sixth density. Thus, loving the Creator, and realizing at some point that the Creator is not only self but other-self as self, this entity consciously chooses an instantaneous energy reorientation so that it may continue its evolution.

At 7:45 this morning I drove Stanley down to Big O Tires and got two new tires, one to replace the left rear tire with the gouge, discovered yesterday when Stanley was serviced by the Subaru dealer, and a second rear tire to balance the first one. It is always a good idea to have tires in the rear which have the same amount of wear so the ride is smoother. The same is true for the front.

At 10 this morning Austin hosted our L/L Podcast on the topic of polarization of consciousness. We discussed the nature of the positive and negative paths of service to others and service to self, why we have to polarize, how we polarize, what does Ra mean by “doing work in consciousness,” why is the negative path viable, and what are some misconceptions about polarizing positively. We had a good time discussing these questions, and Austin said that it would be edited and up on our website within a day.

Seek The True Image Of Love

I am the Holy Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ and I overshadow this instrument with the consciousness of love.

Just in such a way may we greet each and overshadow each with the love that is a kind of truing device, so that each spirit which seeks love may, by asking, receive the comfort of closer and closer knowledge of the true wholeness and unity of creation.

The untrue perceptions which abound within your experience are a matter of gazing upon the streaming array of scenes and experiences about you as if through a vastly distorting carnival mirror. Seek, then, the true image of love in whatever your gaze falls upon by invoking the Comforter, the pure consciousness of love.

“Questioner: I did not understand that. Could you say that in a different way?

Ra: I am Ra. As you have noted, the creation of which your Logos is a part is a protean entity which grows and learns upon a macrocosmic scale. The Logos is not a part of time. All that is learned from experience in an octave is, therefore, the harvest of that Logos and is, further, the nature of that Logos.

The original Logos’ experience was, viewed in space/time, small; Its experience now, more.

Therefore, we say, as we now speak to you at this space/time, the nature of creation is as we have described. This does not deny the process by which this nature has been achieved but merely ratifies the product.”

In this question Don is asking Ra to state in another way their answer to his question just previous to this question, which was the following:

Questioner: You stated previously that The Choice that is made in this density, third density, is the axis upon which the creation turns. Could you expand on your reason for making that statement?

Ra: I am Ra. This is a statement of the nature of creation as we speak to you.

Ra seems to be saying that The Choice is so central to how the creation works that they are simply stating what is obvious to them. In 76.16, I think that Ra gives a clearer statement of why The Choice is so important tan in their response to Don’s request that they restate the above answer:

Questioner: Third density, then, it appears, is, compared to the rest of the densities—all of them—nothing but a uniquely short period of what we consider to be time and is then for the purpose of this choice.

Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is precisely correct. The prelude to choice must encompass the laying of the foundation, the establishment of the illusion and the viability of that which can be made spiritually viable. The remainder of the densities is continuous refining of the choice. This also is greatly lengthened, as you would use the term.

The choice is, as you put it, the work of a moment, but is the axis upon which the creation turns.

So in this original statement, about which Don first queried, Ra simply said that The Choice of polarity that we make in the third-density illusion is so important because it gives a direction to all future work in consciousness. The direction is either positive or negative, service to others or service to self. Then we spend densities four through the mid-sixth density making infinite refinements of this Choice. So Ra’s restating of why The Choice is so important basically says that the original Logos had not yet extended free will down to third density. There was no veil, no forgetting, and there was only positive polarity. Under these circumstances the experience of the original, or Primal, Logos was much smaller than it was after it was discovered by succeeding Logoi that putting the veil between the conscious and unconscious minds created the polarization process. I believe that the pre and post veil experiences were the focus of Ra’s last quote: “This does not deny the process by which this nature has been achieved but merely ratifies the product.” As an example of lesser experiences before the veil, in 83.3, Ra described how sexual energy exchanges before the veil of forgetting were weaker than after the veiling:

Let us, as an example, choose your sexual activities of energy transfer. If you have a desire to treat other subjects in detail please query forthwith. In the instance of the sexual activity of those not dwelling within the veiling, each activity was a transfer. There were some transfers of strength. Most were rather attenuated in the strength of the transfer due to the lack of veiling.

In the third density, entities are attempting to learn the Ways of Love. If it can be seen that all are one being it becomes much more difficult for the undisciplined personality to choose one mate and, thereby, initiate itself into a program of service. It is much more likely that the sexual energy will be dissipated more randomly without either great joy or great sorrow depending from these experiences.

Therefore, the green-ray energy transfer, being almost without exception the case in sexual energy transfer prior to veiling, remains weakened and without significant crystallization. The sexual energy transfers and blockages after veiling have been discussed previously.

It may be seen to be a more complex study but one far more efficient in crystallizing those who seek the green-ray energy center.

This polarization process created The Choice which exponentially multiplied the amount of experience that would become available to the Primal Logos and the One Creator because third-density entities had to work to discover that they lived in a creation of unity, made out of Light by the power of Love. All this work became the polarization process that eventually resulted in The Choice, and it also made the experiences of the Primal Logos more than they were before the veil. Before the veil the unified nature of creation was obvious and required no work to discover and provided no reason to change these Edenic conditions. So the experiences of the Primal Logos then were less than the situation after the veil that created all of the work that goes into making The Choice by third-density entities. In 82.22, Ra explained more about how the experience of the Creator was so much less before the veil than after the veil:

Questioner: Then since the only possibility at this particular time, as I see it, was a polarization for service to others, I must assume from what you said that even though all were aware of this service-to-others necessity they were unable to achieve it. What was the configuration of mind of the mind/body/spirit complexes at that time? Were they aware of the necessity for the polarization or unaware of it? And if so, why did they have such a difficult time serving others to the extent necessary for graduation since this was the only polarity possible?

Ra: I am Ra. Consider, if you will, the tendency of those who are divinely happy, as you call this distortion, to have little urge to alter, or better, their condition. Such is the result of the mind/body/spirit which is not complex.

There is the possibility of love of other-selves and service to other-selves, but there is the overwhelming awareness of the Creator in the self. The connection with the Creator is that of the umbilical cord. The security is total. Therefore, no love is terribly important; no pain terribly frightening; no effort, therefore, is made to serve for love or to benefit from fear.

This morning I took my car to the Subaru dealer to have the brake pads and rotors replaced. They also discovered that my left rear tire had a gouge in it that was causing it to lose air slowly, but I will have to take my car to Big O tomorrow since it is a Big O tire and their warranty should cover the replacement of the tire.

I would also like to mention that today is the 16^th birthday of my cats, Dan D. Lion, and his sister, Chloe. Carla and I got Dan D. and Chloe on March 26, 2006, and we were told that they were seven weeks old at the time, so we counted backwards and came up with February 7, 2006 as their date of birth. Both are doing well even though each has serious kidney issues. Chloe has end-stage renal failure, but subcutaneous injections of 150 ml. of fluids every other day for the last two and one half years have kept her alive and happy. Dan D. has kidney cancer and the appetite enhancer, mirtazapine, has kept his weight on and his purr going strong. If you can keep the weight on cats with kidney problems, they will live longer. Both Dan D. and Chloe are enjoying their lives to the fullest, and I am most grateful for their loving company.

Softness of Heart

I am the spirit of the living Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of perfect love.

We would give to you and to all the peoples of Earth the grandeur and the glory of creation, the aspect of heaven which your eyes do not see but which rests imperishably within each perishable mote of shape and substance in the creation.

We would give to you the softness of heart to perceive glory. And yet often you who seek the living spirit of love feel that you must toughen and harden yourselves to be more effective blunt instruments for Christ. Yet Christ is not one desirous of seeing large generalities or of using blunt instruments.

Jesus the Christ wishes to send you into the world as a soft, complex, subtle and quietly shining being, one who celebrates the imperishable in every perishable situation; one who can ignore the perishable even when a less subtle heart would be prone to condemn and turn away.

The strength of Jesus the Christ seems often like softness, yet there is more steel in the velvet manipulations of the spirit than in the hardened thrusts of all the righteous lances in the perishable universe.

May your hearts be softened and may you find peace in the imperishable, now and always. Amen.

“Questioner: Then our particular Logos, when it created Its own particular creation, was at some point far down the evolutionary spiral of the experiment with the significator becoming what it was not or, in effect, creating the polarity that we strive for in third density and, therefore was, I am assuming, primarily concerned in the design of the archetypes, in designing them in such a way so as they would create the acceleration of this polarization. Is this in any way correct?

Ra: I am Ra. We would only comment briefly. It is generally correct. You may fruitfully view each Logos and its design as the Creator experiencing Itself.

The seed concept of the Significator being a complex introduces two things: firstly, the Creator against Creator in one sub-Logos in what you may call dynamic tension; secondly, the concept of free will, once having been made fuller by its extension into the sub-Logoi known as mind/body/spirit complexes, creates and re-creates and continues to create as a function of its very nature.”

In this question Don was dealing with the plan of later Logoi in attempting to speed up the evolutionary process in third density by putting a veil between the conscious and unconscious mind. I believe this is what is meant by “the significator becoming what its was not.” The significator was becoming complex in having a conscious and an unconscious mind rather than just one mind which saw all as the Creator as Ra mentioned in 86.20:

Let us deal with the sexual energy transfer. Before the veiling such a transfer was always possible due to there being no shadow upon the grasp of the nature of the body and its relationship to other mind/body/spirits in this particular manifestation. Before the veiling process there was a near total lack of the use of this sexual energy transfer beyond green ray.

This also was due to the same unshadowed knowledge each had of each. There was, in third density then, little purpose to be seen in the more intensive relationships of mind, body, and spirits which you may call those of the mating process, since each other-self was seen to be the Creator, and no other-self seemed to be more the Creator than another.

So with all of this in mind, Don asked Ra if the Logos of our Milky Way Galaxy designed its archetypes in a way that would speed up the evolutionary process or, maybe more accurately, reflect the speeded up evolutionary process that was created by the veil and its production of service-to-self polarization in addition to the service-to-others polarization. Ra began their answer by saying that Don’s assumption was mostly correct. They reminded us that each Logos and Its archetypes could be seen as the Creator knowing Itself. I am guessing that they mentioned this to let us know that each Logos could make unique refinements to this plan as well as hewing to Its basic qualities as Ra suggested was the case in 76.10:

Questioner: Would I be correct in saying that our local Logos, in acting as co-Creator, distorted to some extent, for the purposes of experience, that which we experience here? And that the archetypes of this particular Logos are somewhat unique with respect to the rest of the creation—but are, of course, related to the all in that they are part of it, but are, I can only say, a unique part—and that the systems of study that we have just talked about would not translate quickly or easily in other parts of the creation. This is a very difficult question to state. Could you clear that up for me?

Ra: I am Ra. We may draw from the welter of statement which you offer the question we believe you ask. Please re-question if we have mistaken your query.

The archetypical mind is that mind which is peculiar to the Logos under which influence you are at this space/time distorting your experiences. There is no other Logos the archetypical mind of which would be the same, any more than the stars would appear the same from another planet in another galaxy. You may correctly infer that the closer Logoi are indeed closer in archetypes.

Then Ra said that “the basic quality of each Significator (of Mind, Body, and Spirit) becoming complex” (having a conscious and an unconscious mind) was “the Creator against Creator in one sub-Logos in what you may call dynamic tension.” I believe that what Ra is talking about here is each of us (as a sub-Logos) has the Creator (which is our conscious mind) operating in a dynamic tension against the Creator (which is our unconscious mind.) I believe that the dynamic tension that Ra is talking about is the lack of continuous and obvious communication or interaction between our conscious and unconscious minds. This means that we now have the freedom to be positively polarized, negatively polarized, confused, or uncaring.  Ra’s quote in 94.11, illustrates this dynamic tension between the conscious and unconscious mind:

Questioner: I have drawn a small diagram in which I simply show an arrow which represents catalyst penetrating a line at right angles to the arrow, which is the veil, and then depositing in one of two repositories: one which I would call on the right-hand path, one on the left-hand path. And I have labeled these two repositories for the catalytic action as it’s filtered through the veil “the Experience.” Would this be a very rough analogy of the way the catalyst is filtered through the veil to become experience?

Ra: I am Ra. Again, you are partially correct. The deeper biases of a mind/body/spirit complex pilot the catalyst around the many isles of positivity and negativity as expressed in the archipelago of the deeper mind. However, the analogy is incorrect in that it does not take into account the further polarization which most certainly is available to the conscious mind after it has perceived the partially polarized catalyst from the deeper mind.

In 93.20, Ra gave another example of how our unconscious mind filter catalyst, or gives it a certain bias, before our conscious mind ever perceives it:

Questioner: I was just wondering if the transparency of the garment on the third card indicates the semi-permeable nature of the veil between conscious and subconscious?

Ra: I am Ra. This is a thoughtful perception and cannot be said to be incorrect. However, the intended suggestion, in general, is an echo of our earlier suggestion that the nature of catalyst is that of the unconscious; that is, outward catalyst comes through the veil.

All that you perceive seems to be consciously perceived. This is not the correct supposition. All that you perceive is perceived as catalyst unconsciously. By the, shall we say, time that the mind begins its appreciation of catalyst, that catalyst has been filtered through the veil, and in some cases much is veiled in the most apparently clear perception.

Today was another Sabbath Day of Rest, and I decided to do some work on the upcoming podcast that Austin will host Tuesday with Gary and me on the topic of the polarization of consciousness into service to others and service to self. At lunch I took my usual errand run to Feeder’s Supply to buy food for the kitties, and then I stopped at PetSmart to buy some fur ball medication for Benny, my feral cat upstairs. My last stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market where I bought some food for myself. When I got back home I did some more work on the podcast and then continued with more meditation and reading of the Law of One.

Today

I am the Comforter and I speak to you in the wholeness of the love of Jesus the Christ.

Today is a word which means “the present.” Yet how little time each may spend in peaceable, comfortable thought concerning today! Many hark back to yesterdays which seem unsatisfactory and experience emotions negative and sorrowful. Many more gaze into tomorrow with fear and apprehension.

Yet it is today that the Father watches and sets His angels to guide and guard each of you. It is in the present that situations and relationships belong and in the present that help need be asked.

Yes, it is well to pray for forgiveness of yesterday’s sins and for peace of mind concerning an uncertain future. But the spirit of the living Christ urges you to release all and focus upon the moment at hand. For in this moment lies the wholeness of creation, the energy of goodness, the love of Christ, the sacrifice of crucifixion and the sure knowledge of resurrection from any crucified pain or trouble.

Speak in your soul and heart this day of today and, as you ask for comfort, it shall rain upon you in a gentle, peaceful rain. There is help and comfort today.

May your joy be complete in the present moment. And in that moment may you find the peace of the consciousness of love, now and ever. Amen.

“Questioner: So the original, the first evolution then was planned by the Logos, but the First Distortion was not extended to the product. At some point this First Distortion was extended, and the first service-to-self polarity emerged. Is this correct, and if so could you tell me the history of this process and emergence?

Ra: I am Ra. As proem let me state that the Logoi always conceived of themselves as offering free will to the sub-Logoi in their care. The sub-Logoi had freedom to experience and experiment with consciousness, the experiences of the body, and the illumination of the spirit. That having been said, we shall speak to the point of your query.

The first Logos to instill what you now see as free will in the full sense in its sub-Logoi came to this creation due to contemplation in-depth of the concepts, or possibilities of conceptualizations, of what we have called the significators. The Logos posited the possibility of the mind, the body, and the spirit as being complex. In order for the significator to be what it is not, it then must be granted the free will of the Creator. This set in motion a quite lengthy, in your terms, series of Logoi improving or distilling this seed thought. The key was the significator becoming a complex.”

In this question Don is asking Ra for a description of the process of how the original Logoi extended free will to the sub-Logoi in their care. For example, how did the Logos that created our Milky Way Galaxy of 250 billion sub-Logoi give them all free will? Ra began their answer by suggesting that before the specific means by which this free will would be extended were discovered it was assumed that all such entities did have free will. No attempt was ever made to restrict the ability of any sub-Logos to experiment with the mind, with the body, or with the spirit. At some point in the evolution of this creation one Logos came up with the possibility of being able to extend free will even more fully in the mind/body/spirits in third density by considering the significators of the mind, the body, and the spirit. By this time many third-density experiences had been observed, and the lack of ability to polarizes successfully in one 75,000 year master cycle of the third density experience was noted. There was much need to repeat third density many times until polarization was achieved as Ra noted in 82.21:

Questioner: Then even though, from our point of view, there was great evolutionary experience it was deemed at some point by the evolving Logos that an experiment to create a greater experience was appropriate. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct and may benefit from comment. The Logos is aware of the nature of the third-density requirement for what you have called graduation. All the previous, if you would use this term, experiments, although resulting in many experiences, lacked what was considered the crucial ingredient: that is, polarization.

There was little enough tendency for experience to polarize entities that entities repeated, habitually, the third-density cycles many times over. It was desired that the potential for polarization be made more available.

So our Milky Way Logos considered the possibility of improving the polarization process by making the significators of mind, body, and spirit complex. Up to this point each of these significators was a very simple representation of the nature of the One Creator, as reflected in each mind/body/spirit in third density. In order for these significators to become something other than the One Creator they would need to be granted free will. Their wills would be freed to think and act in ways not usual for the One Creator by the insertion of the veil of forgetting between the conscious and subconscious minds. Thus behaviors like feeling better than another, separating the self from other selves, etc. and basically having the opportunity to find their way out of the darkness of the veil energized their free will by necessity. So by making it more difficult to see the self and other selves as the Creator, this veil of forgetting made the polarization process quicker. Ra described the basics of this process in 79.42:

Questioner: Then I will just ask for the one of the archetypes which I am least understanding at this point, if I can use that word at all. I am still very much in the dark, so to speak, with respect to the Hierophant and precisely what it is. Could you give me some other indication of what that is, please?

Ra: I am Ra. You have been most interested in the Significator which must needs become complex. The Hierophant is the original archetype of mind which has been made complex through the subtile movements of the conscious and unconscious. The complexities of mind were evolved rather than the simple melding of experience from Potentiator to Matrix.

The mind itself became an actor possessed of free will and, more especially, will. As the Significator of the mind, the Hierophant has the will to know, but what shall it do with its knowledge, and for what reasons does it seek? The potential[s] of a complex significator are manifold.

In 79.28, Ra mentioned how the veil of forgetting immediately resulted in the service-to-self polarity:

Questioner: Well, I was aware of that. I probably didn’t state the question correctly. It’s a very difficult question to state. I don’t know if it’s worth attempting to continue with, but what I meant was when this very first experiment with the veiling process occurred, did it result in service-to-self polarization with the first experiment?

Ra: I am Ra. The early, if we may use this term, Logoi produced service-to-self and service-to-others mind/body/spirit complexes immediately. The harvestability of these entities was not so immediate, and thus refinements of the archetypes began apace.

And in 81.33, Ra described how this discovery of the efficacy of the veil to aid in polarization in consciousness was communicated to the rest of the Logoi:

Questioner: Actually, I don’t have much more on this except to make the assumption that there must have been some type of communication throughout the octave so that when the first experiment became effective, the knowledge of this then spread rapidly through the octave and was picked up by other budding galactic spirals, you might say. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. To be aware of the nature of this communication is to be aware of the nature of the Logos. Much of what you call creation has never separated from the one Logos of this octave and resides within the One Infinite Creator. Communication in such an environment is the communication of cells of the body. That which is learned by one is known to all. The sub-Logoi, then, have been in the position of refining the discoveries of what might be called the earlier sub-Logoi.

This morning I made a trip to Kroger’s to buy food for another week. When I returned I did the laundry and then put it away. Then I began a review of the edits on Chapter 2 of Living the Law of One 102: The Outer Work, which Austin and Gary had made in the last few days. I took a break for lunch and then completed the review and accepted the great majority of their suggestions as to how to make the book better. I certainly appreciate their hard work on this book, especially Austin’s since he is also formatting the book for publication as well as making his editing suggestions.

Vehicles Of The Spirit

I am the spirit of the living Christ and I speak to you through this instrument in peace.

May you experience love washing over you in waterfalls and great channels of swift-moving power.

Yet if you do not experience the spirit in this wise, know that it is also through quiet and subtle movements and effects that the spirit makes itself known to the churches and to humankind. For it is not only those who gesture and speak with authority, claiming a closeness with the spirit by virtue of station or special knowledge that others do not have, that spread transformation upon the Earth but also every movement of light, every creation of form and every happenstance and event which carries the message of the spirit of Christ.

Look for the spirit of love in unlikely and hidden places as well as the great shelves and benches of sunlit and authoritative existence and information, for we of the principle of love scorn nothing. All is a vehicle fit for the spirit, and all is fit to be transformed through Jesus the Christ.

May the peace of transformation be with you now and always. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 78.17-18:

“Questioner: Why do the densities have the qualities that they have? You have named the densities with respect to their qualities, this density being that of . . . the next, the fourth density being that of love, etc. Can you tell me why these qualities exist in that form? Is it possible to answer this question at all?

Ra: I am Ra. It is possible.

Questioner: Would you please answer that?

Ra: I am Ra. The nature of the vibratory range peculiar to each quantum of the octave is such that the characteristics of it may be described with the same certainty with which you perceive a color with your optical apparatus if it is functioning properly.”

In this question Don asked Ra why the densities have the qualities such as love, light, and unity. Ra responded by saying that we can look at the activity or quality of each density and see what is occurring in each and, having done that, I believe we can interpret that the densities are describing a path to the Creator. Each succeeding density intensifies or accelerates that path. The first density has a timeless beginning of unimaginable length. And then when times does “unroll its scroll of beingness” it takes two billion years for wind and fire to teach earth and water to be formed in a way that can sustain life. The mind complex begins here in simple awareness. In 78.29, Ra describes how wind and fire teach earth and water:

Questioner: I understand your limitations in answering that. Thank you.

Could you tell me how, in first density, wind and fire teach earth and water?

Ra: I am Ra. You may see the air and [fire] of that which is chaos as literally illuminating and forming the formless, for earth and water were, in the timeless state, unformed.

As the active principles of fire and air blow and burn incandescently about that which nurtures that which is to come, the water learns to become sea, lake, and river, offering the opportunity for viable life. The earth learns to be shaped, thus offering the opportunity for viable life.

The second density takes 4.6 billion years to provide the means whereby that simple awareness of the first density becomes self-conscious, or intelligent, and forms plants and animals that are capable of movement and growth. At the end of the second density we have beings that are individualized and the mind of first density, the body of second density have added to them the quality of the spirit which will qualify the beings to enter third density as Ra mentioned in 14.1:

Questioner: Going back over this morning’s work, [inaudible]. You said the second density strives towards the third density, which is the density of self-consciousness, or self-awareness. The striving takes place through higher second-density forms invested by third-density beings. Could you explain what you mean by this?

Ra: I am Ra. Much as you would put on a vestment, so do your third-density beings invest or clothe some second-density beings with self-awareness. This is often done through the opportunity of what you call pets. It has also been done by various other means of investiture. These include many so-called religious practice complexes which personify and send love to various natural second-density beings in their group form.

Then third density flits by in but a moment of 75,000 years which gives us a chance to make a choice to be service-to-others or service-to-self. Now that we are complete beings with a mind, a body, and a spirit and a choice of polarity, we can proceed through the fourth density of love, the fifth density of light, and the sixth density of the unity of love and light. Love created the universe through which we have just traveled and made it out of light. When we can balance love and light, then we have the power to become the light in sixth density and to seek the seventh density of foreverness in our movement back into unity with the One Creator. In 64.6, Ra mentioned how they have become light:

 We seek the Creator upon a level of shared experience to which you are not privy, and rather than surrounding ourselves in light, we have become light. Our understanding is that there is no other material except light. Our rituals, as you may call them, are an infinitely subtle continuation of the balancing processes which you are now beginning to experience.

We seek now without polarity. Thus we do not invoke any power from without, for our search has become internalized as we become light/love and love/light. These are the balances we seek, the balances between compassion and wisdom which, more and more, allow our understanding of experience to be informed that we may come closer to the unity with the One Creator which we so joyfully seek.

In 37.6, Ra described the seventh density experience:

The higher self is a manifestation given to the late sixth-density mind/body/spirit complex as a gift from its future selfness. The mid-seventh density’s last action before turning towards the allness of the Creator and gaining spiritual mass is to give this resource to the sixth-density self, moving, as you measure time, in the stream of time.

This self, the mind/body/spirit complex of late sixth density, has then the honor/duty of using both the experiences of its total living bank, or memory, of experienced thoughts and actions and using the resource of the mind/body/spirit complex totality left behind as a type of infinitely complex thought-form.

At some point there is the periodic coalescing of all of the creation that brings the harvest of the entire octave of every entity’s experience into the Great Central Sun. Thus ends one octave of experience and the eighth density of this octave becomes the first density of the next octave—after another unimaginable length of timelessness as Ra mentioned in 28.16:

Questioner: Are you saying, then, there are an infinite number of octaves of densities one through eight?

Ra: I am Ra. We wish to establish that we are truly humble messengers of the Law of One. We can speak to you of our experiences and our understandings and teach/learn in limited ways. However, we cannot speak in firm knowledge of all the creations. We know only that they are infinite. We assume an infinite number of octaves.

However, it has been impressed upon us by our own teachers that there is a mystery-clad unity of creation in which all consciousness periodically coalesces and, again, begins. Thus we can only say we assume an infinite progression, though we understand it to be cyclical in nature and, as we have said, clad in mystery.

Wasn’t that fun! Shall we do it again?

This morning I listened to Carla’s audio for the seventh chapter of Living the Law of One 101: The Choice. She was talking about our green-ray chakra and said that since we are the Creator we have all of the facets of the Creator within us. Some of them are hidden as our “shadow side”, and when we get irritated with someone we need to look at what irritates and balance this catalyst so we can keep our heart open in unconditional love. She said that as we continue to do this work we move from the outer court yard of the heart to the Inner Sanctum of the heart. She said that this is work that we need to continually do, just as we need to do on our lower chakras in order to keep the love/light of the Creator flowing into and through our hearts.

I am happy to report that we dodged a bullet, shall I say, last night as we only got a small amount of ice and the rest was snow. There were no power outages or falling limbs from trees, so this afternoon I took down the fence, shovels, rakes, and hoes that I was using to keep my Arborvitae trees standing as they were already leaning towards my neighbor’s yard. Then I took my speed walk on snowy and slightly icy streets, and when I got home I vacuumed the first floor of the house.

The Tides Of The Spirit

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

How deeply below the ground of sensation, feeling and thought run the tides of the spirit within each individual! If you wonder at the seemingly random turns and twists of daily life, the answers that deny randomness and proclaim the harmony of the great Deity’s plan lie far too deep for discovery.

Like a great underground sea, the spirit makes all things new and guides circumstance in order that the fullness of experience may provide the opportunity for divine change. Thus when you ask for the Comforter of the spirit of Jesus the Christ to come upon you, know that the more intense your asking, the greater your opportunity for renewal and change. For you may be created anew at any time that you truly wish it.

With love of such power, peace may not seem possible, yet this power is harmonious, and, whatever the appearances, its outworking lies in perfect peace.

And in this peace that is strife to the world, we leave you, now and ever. Amen.

“Questioner: Then we have, at the beginning of this galactic evolution, an archetypical mind that is the product of the previous octave which this galaxy then uses and acts upon under the First Distortion of Free Will to evolve the total experience of this galaxy. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is quite correct.

Questioner: But, in doing this, there was at the center of the galaxy the lack of knowledge, or the lack of concept of possibility of extending the First Distortion so as to allow for what we have experienced as polarity. Was there any concept of polarity carried through from the previous octave in the sense of service-to-others or service-to-self polarity?

Ra: I am Ra. There was polarity in the sense of the mover and the moved. There was no polarity in the sense of service to self and service to others.”

In these two questions Don is continuing to probe into the “givens” from the previous octave of experience that the Logos at the center of our Milky Way Galaxy had to begin its creation with. The Logos, itself, was operating under free will in creating our galaxy, but here Don points out that the Logos did not extend this free will to its creation in full measure. So he asks Ra if there was any concept of service-to-others or service-to-self polarity carried over from the previous octave of experience that would suggest free will was also a “given” from the previous octave. Ra replies that there was no polarity in the sense of service to self or service to others, so our Logos did not extend free will to its creation because that had not yet been thought of. The closest thing to polarity in the previous octave of experience was the concept of “the mover and the moved.” This suggests that there was active interaction between conscious entities. Each entity obviously had some effect upon those around it as it lived the life experience. From previous questions we know that before this octave the mind, body, and spirit were a part of that experience. Now the question is: By what means did the Creator know Itself before the evolution of the mind, the body, and the spirit? In 81.18, Ra gave an analogy of how they know what they know about the octave of creation that came before our present octave:

Questioner: Why does Ra not have any knowledge of that which was prior to the beginning of this octave?

Ra: I am Ra. Let us compare octaves to islands. It may be that the inhabitants of an island are not alone upon a planetary sphere, but if an ocean-going vehicle in which one may survive has not been invented, true knowledge of other islands is possible only if an entity comes among the islanders and says, “I am from elsewhere.” This is a rough analogy. However, we have evidence of this sort, both of previous creation and creation to be, as we in the stream of space/time and time/space view these apparently non-simultaneous events.

So Don’s question to Ra concerns how the Logos of our Milky Way Galaxy uses free will to refine these concepts of the mind, body, and spirit and the sub-concepts of the matrix, potentiator, and significator. These nine combinations of concepts produce the infinity of entities and their infinity of experiences that become the total experience that is the means by which the One Creator comes to know more of Itself. In 28.1, Ra gets to the bottom line in our attempt to understand how all this works:

The one undifferentiated intelligent infinity, unpolarized, full and whole, is the macrocosm of the mystery-clad being. We are messengers of the Law of One. Unity, at this approximation of understanding, cannot be specified by any physics but only be activated, or potentiated, intelligent infinity due to the catalyst of free will. This may be difficult to accept. However, the understandings we have to share begin and end in mystery.

So we will not have any satisfactory explanations of how all of this evolution of entities in previous octaves progressed in more detail than the general information that Ra had to share about the mind, body, and spirit operating with the Matrix, Potentiator, and Significators.

This Morning I listened to Carla’s audio of Chapter Six of Living the Law of One 101: The Choice. She was talking about the yellow-ray chakra which deals with what she called legal relationships like our birth family, our marriage family, our work family, our school family, and so forth. She mentioned that we probably get more catalyst to speed our spiritual growth from our birth family than from any other source, and I am assuming that much of this catalyst is pre-incarnatively chosen. She said that these many types of groups mirror to us various facets of ourselves, and that in dealing with this type of catalyst that it is well to be creative and proactive by enhancing the qualities of love being in every moment. Our goal in the yellow-ray chakra is to keep our energy flowing by balancing our responses to catalyst.

The temperature for most of this day has been at 34 degrees, but I noticed on my speed walk this afternoon that ice has already begun forming on tree limbs. We are forecast to get about three- and one-half inches of rain through tomorrow morning, and we have already gotten over two-and-one-half inches. So it looks like the forecast for an ice storm will probably come to pass tonight while most of us are sleeping.

Echoes Of Love

I am of the spirit of Jesus Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of that love for which the remainder of the creation is but a synonym.

We gaze upon the palsied, frail, wandering thoughts of humankind with cheerfulness and love, not with sadness and despair as do you who gaze upon your own thoughts with disappointment. For we know that your thoughts may wander in arid regions. Yet the more unprofitable you find your thinking becoming, the more rich becomes the potential for your turning from the unformed to the formed, from the uncreated to that which is full of grace and purpose.

Your infinite and loving heart is not a machine, that you may produce an output according to your quota. But, rather, it is a sounding board by means of which the spirit of love may echo to the infinite reaches of the created universe.

Turn, therefore, from despair and free the echo chamber of your heart from all tense worries that, surprised by inspiration, it may reverberate in love and peace.

I am of the spirit of Christ, and I leave you in peace, now and ever. Amen.

“Questioner: Could you elaborate please on the nature and quality of the Matrix and the Potentiator?

Ra: I am Ra. In the mind complex the Matrix may be described as consciousness. It has been called the Magician. It is to be noted that, of itself, consciousness is unmoved. The Potentiator of consciousness is the unconscious. This encompasses a vast realm of potential in the mind.

In the body the Matrix may be seen as Balanced Working or Even Functioning. Note that here the Matrix is always active with no means of being inactive. The Potentiator of the body complex, then, may be called Wisdom, for it is only through judgment that the unceasing activities and proclivities of the body complex may be experienced in useful modes.

The Matrix of the Spirit is what you may call the Night of the Soul, or Primeval Darkness. Again we have that which is not capable of movement or work. The potential power of this extremely receptive Matrix is such that the Potentiator may be seen as Lightning. In your archetypical system called the tarot this has been refined into the concept complex of the Lightning Struck Tower. However, the original Potentiator was light in its sudden and fiery form; that is, the lightning itself.”

In this question Don asked Ra to elaborate on the “nature and quality of the Matrix and the Potentiator.” Ra responded that the Matrix of the Mind was “described as consciousness” and was called the Magician. Ra added that this consciousness was “unmoved.” Then Ra added that the potentiator of consciousness, and that which caused movement in consciousness, was the unconscious.  In 78.34, Ra described the unconscious as the High Priestess:

Questioner: Would the archetype then that has been called the High Priestess, which represents the intuition, be properly the second of the archetypes?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. You see here the recapitulation of the beginning knowledge of this Logos; that is, Matrix and Potentiator. The unconscious is, indeed, what may be poetically described as High Priestess, for it is the Potentiator of the Mind, and as potentiator for the mind is that principle which potentiates all experience.

Then Ra said that in the body the Matrix of the Body was called Balanced Working or Even Functioning. Ra also noted that the Matrix of the Body was always active and could not, of itself, be inactive. So the Potentiator of the Body was called Wisdom for only through the judgment of Wisdom could the “unceasing activities and proclivities of the Body complex may be experienced in useful modes.” In 79.20, Ra suggested that the Potentiator of the Body was “informed,” which suggests the function of Wisdom being the informer and regulator of the always active body:

The Matrix of the Body may be seen to be a reflection in opposites of the mind; that is, unrestricted motion. The Potentiator of the Body then is that which, being informed, regulates activity.

Ra went on to say that the Matrix of the Spirit is called the Night of the Soul or Primeval Darkness. They said that this Matrix, like the Matrix of the Mind, is not “capable of movement or work.” So in order for work to be done it must be potentiated by the Potentiator of the Spirit which is called Lightning or, more accurately the Lightning Struck Tower. The Matrix of the Spirit is also called The Devil, and in 80.10, Ra gives more details as to why this name is used and the intricacies of the Matrix of the Spirit:

Questioner: Now, the fifteenth archetype, which is Matrix of the Spirit, has been called the Devil. Can you tell me why that is so?

Ra: I am Ra. We do not wish to be facile in such a central query, but we may note that the nature of the spirit is so infinitely subtle that the fructifying influence of light upon the great darkness of the spirit is very often not as apparent as the darkness itself.

The progress chosen by many adepts becomes a confused path as each adept attempts to use the Catalyst of the Spirit. Few there are which are successful in grasping the light of the sun. By far, the majority of adepts remain groping in the moonlight and, as we have said, this light can deceive as well as uncover hidden mystery.

Therefore, the melody, shall we say, of this Matrix often seems to be of a negative and evil, as you would call it, nature.

It is also to be noted that an adept is one which has freed itself more and more from the constraints of the thoughts, opinions, and bonds of other-selves. Whether this is done for service to others or service to self, it is a necessary part of the awakening of the adept. This freedom is seen by those not free as what you would call evil or black. The magic is recognized; the nature is often not.

This morning I got my seed spreader filled with rock salt in preparation for the ice storm that is forecast to come tonight and tomorrow. I will spread this rock salt on my two neighbor’s’ walkways, and put sand on my walkway because salt caused my liriope along the walkway to stop blooming for five years the last time I used it there. Then I came inside and took down the three Spider Plants in the living room and removed all the dead leaves and hung them in the area behind the kitchen in hopes that they will eventually recover from what I only guess to be overwatering them.

Then I listened to another hour-long synopsis of Carla talking about the orange-ray energy center. She noted that in the orange-ray energy center we have the power to give or withhold love and compassion, first for ourselves and then for others. This is how we create our own world. She said that our intentions are of the most importance in loving ourselves and others, and the success in doing so is of less importance because we often fail to love and accept ourselves and others. When we are able to do this, we are keeping our energy bodies open to the love/light of the One Creator.

In the afternoon I took some four foot tall metal fencing that was left over from surrounding the Giant Perennial Hibiscus garden and put it on one side of the Arborvitae trees on my south border and propped it up with shovels, rakes, and hoes. This is to keep the trees from falling towards my neighbor’s yard if the ice accumulates as thickly as it did four years ago in another ice storm. The arborvitae fell down then to about fourty five degrees, and they are now leaning towards my neighbor’s yard. Here’s hope this idea works.

Every Flower Rejoices

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

Be it known to you that every flower that nods in the sunlight rejoices in love; that every green leaf that shakes upon the bough lifts its voice in songs of praise to love.

Know, too, that every cell of your body and every cell of your mind is full of the love of the Father, full of the Christ, full of rejoicing.

It may seem to you that portions of your body or your mind have been cut off from the love of God in Jesus Christ. Believe and know that this is in no case the final truth and press on in faith, holding the vision of love in every cell, of rejoicing in every iota of the body and the mind. I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 78.10:

“Questioner: Now, I realize that we are on very difficult ground, you might say, for precise terminology here, since it is totally displaced from our system of coordinates for evaluation in our present system of language.

These early Logoi that formed in the center of the galaxy wished, I assume, to create a system of experience for the One Creator. Did they then start with no previous experience or information about how to do this? This is difficult to ask.

Ra: I am Ra. At the beginning of this creation or, as you may call it, octave, there were those things known which were the harvest of the preceding octave. About the preceding creation we know as little as we do of the octave to come. However, we are aware of those pieces of gathered concept which were the tools which the Creator had in the knowing of the self.

These tools were of two kinds. Firstly, there was an awareness of the efficiency for experience of mind, body, and spirit. Secondly, there was an awareness of the most efficacious nature or, if you will, Significator of Mind, Body, and Spirit. Thirdly, there was the awareness of two aspects of mind, of body, and of spirit that the Significator could use to balance all catalyst. You may call these two the Matrix and the Potentiator.”

Ra had previously described the beginning of the creation as being the point at which the One Creator focused its Free Will to know Itself by using the power of Love to create an infinity of Logoi, the suns/stars that are within each galaxy. Then the remainder of the creation was made by each Logos entity within its own realm or section of the creation. Here we must remember that the One Creator is unpotentiated intelligent infinity. When It created the infinite number of Logoi it was potentiating its intelligent infinity and creating intelligent energy/Love/Logos entities. Intelligent energy, Love, and Logos are all terms referring to the second distortion of Love. In15.21, Ra gave a synopsis of this process of creation by the One Creator:

Questioner: Well, in yesterday’s material you stated, “We offer the Law of One, the solving of paradoxes.” You also mentioned earlier that the first paradox, or the first distortion I meant, was the distortion of Free Will.

Could you tell me if there’s a sequence? Is there a first, second, third, fourth distortion of the Law of One?

Ra: I am Ra. Only up to a very short point. After this point, the many-ness of distortions are equal one to another. The First Distortion Free Will, finds focus. This is the Second Distortion known to you as Logos, the Creative Principle, or Love. This intelligent energy thus creates a distortion known as Light.

From these three distortions come many, many hierarchies of distortions, each having its own paradoxes to be synthesized, no one being more important than another.

In 27.12, Ra gives more information about how intelligent infinity can be potentiated to create intelligent energy:

Questioner: I would like for you to define Love in the sense . . . in its sense as the Second Distortion.

Ra: I am Ra. This must be defined against the background of intelligent infinity, or unity, or the One Creator, with the primal distortion of Free Will. The term Love then may be seen as the focus, the choice of attack, the type of energy of an extremely, shall we say, high order which causes intelligent energy to be formed from the potential of intelligent infinity in just such and such a way. This then may be seen to be an object rather than an activity by some of your peoples, and the principle of this extremely strong energy focus being worshiped as the Creator instead of unity, or oneness, from which all Loves emanate.

In this question Don wants to know what these Logos entities had to go on to make their own creations of galaxies with various forms of life within them. Was there some blueprint or game plan available to them to use as a basis for their creations? Ra answered that there was. The previous octave of creation provided some basic means by which it had been determined that the Creator could know Itself with some efficiency. We are familiar with the first of these tools as our minds, bodies, and spirits, and they seem so basic a part of our being that one wonders how learning and experience ever occurred without them. The other tools were the beginnings of the archetypical mind which makes sense in that the archetypical mind of any solar system is the mind of the Logos or sub-Logos which created it. The Significator seems like a logical first step in describing the mind of the Logos as it is indeed that part of the mind which is most significantly involved in living the experiences that are collected by each seeker of truth in all of its incarnations. In 78.12, Ra equates the original Significators with the mind, the body, and the spirit:

Questioner: Would you elucidate with respect to the Significator you spoke of?

Ra: I am Ra. The original Significators may undifferentiatedly be termed the mind, the body, and the spirit.

The Matrix and Potentiator represent the conscious and subconscious minds, respectively, and are the basic portions of the mind of any entity below the level of Logos. So these concepts were the blueprint that the Logoi had to begin their own creations of galaxies, each a little different from all the others, as each refined the work of previous Logi, and yet all are similar in these beginning concepts. In 78.11, Ra defined the Matrix and Potentiator of the Mind, Body, and Spirit:

Questioner: Could you elaborate please on the nature and quality of the Matrix and the Potentiator?

Ra: I am Ra. In the mind complex the Matrix may be described as consciousness. It has been called the Magician. It is to be noted that, of itself, consciousness is unmoved. The Potentiator of consciousness is the unconscious. This encompasses a vast realm of potential in the mind.

In the body the Matrix may be seen as Balanced Working or Even Functioning. Note that here the Matrix is always active with no means of being inactive. The Potentiator of the body complex, then, may be called Wisdom, for it is only through judgment that the unceasing activities and proclivities of the body complex may be experienced in useful modes.

The Matrix of the Spirit is what you may call the Night of the Soul, or Primeval Darkness. Again we have that which is not capable of movement or work. The potential power of this extremely receptive Matrix is such that the Potentiator may be seen as Lightning. In your archetypical system called the tarot this has been refined into the concept complex of the Lightning Struck Tower. However, the original Potentiator was light in its sudden and fiery form; that is, the lightning itself.

This morning I listened to the synopsis that Carla did for Chapter Four of Living the Law of One 101: The Choice. She talked about the red-ray chakra being concerned with our primal instincts of sexuality/reproduction and survival. How we feel about our sexuality and living on planet Earth are the basic red-ray concerns. She also mentioned how valuable that sexual energy exchanges between her and me powered the Ra contact as they were the equivalent of a Holy Eucharist.

Open Your Hearts To Love

I am the spirit of Jesus the Christ left to the world upon this Master’s removal from it. I greet you in the comfortable Word of divine love.

We proclaimed ourselves to this instrument this morning as the spirit of the one infinite Creator. And so we were challenged again in the name of Jesus the Christ, for the instrument felt we were too close in feeling to other material this instrument has received which seems not to be of Jesus the Christ.

Yet we must remind the instrument that all those of the world of spirit move from the one Creator and as this instrument challenges in the name of Jesus the Christ, so all who come to this instrument are linked in unity of consciousness.

To some we are angels; to others, alien beings. Yet in our essence is our function; in our love and its communication, our hope of service. You, who seek to serve Jesus the Christ, open your hearts to the perfect love of yourself, for you were created by love. You are love. The rest is surface behavior and confusion.

May you sink into the comfort of your true nature. May you seek the comfort of the spirit of Christ. And may you manifest the love which flows through you to all whom you meet this day.

“Questioner: Now, we have the First, Second, and Third Distortions of Free Will, Love, and Light. Am I correct in assuming that the central core of this major galaxy began to form with the Third Distortion? That was the origin of our Milky Way Galaxy?

Ra: I am Ra. In the most basic or teleological sense you are incorrect as the One Infinite Creator is all that there is. In an undistorted seed-form you are correct in seeing the first manifestation visible to the eye of the body complex which you inhabit as the Third Distortion, Light, or to use a technical term, limitless light.”

In this question Don is trying to figure out when the core of our Milky Way Galaxy began to form. He asked Ra if it formed after the Free Will of the Creator decided to know Itself, and focused that Free Will upon Love, which created Light. All of the creation is made of Light or the photon vibrating at various angles and rates of vibration. So Don wanted to know if the creation of Light by the One Creator signaled the beginning of the Logos that created our Milky Way Galaxy of 250 billion stars of sub-Logoi like our sun. In 27.14-.17, Don and Ra explored the nature of the creation using the First, Second, and Third distortions of Free Will, Love, and Light:

Questioner: I will make a statement that I have extracted from the physics of Dewey Larson which may or may not be close to what we are trying to explain. Larson says that all is motion, which we can take as vibration; and that vibration, which is pure vibration and is not physical in any way, or in any form, or in any density, that vibration, by . . . first product of that vibration is what we call the photon, particle of light.

I was trying to make an analogy between this physical solution and the concept of love and light. Is this close to the concept of Love creating Light, or not?

Ra: I am Ra. You are correct.

Questioner: Then I will expand a bit more on this concept. We have the infinite vibration of Love which can occur, I am assuming, at varying frequencies, if this has a meaning in this. I would assume that it begins at one basic frequency.

Does this have any meaning? Am I making sense? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. Each Love, as you term the prime movers, comes from one frequency, if you wish to use this term. This frequency is unity. We would perhaps liken it rather to a strength than a frequency, this strength being infinite, the finite qualities being chosen by the particular nature of this primal movement.

Questioner: Then this vibration which is, for lack of better understanding, which we would call pure motion; it is pure Love. It is. . . it is not . . . there is nothing that is yet condensed, shall we say, to form any type, or density, of illusion. This Love then creates, by this process of vibration, a photon, as we call it, which is the basic particle of light. This photon then, by added vibrations and rotations, further condenses into particles of the densities, the various densities that we experience. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.

Questioner: Now, this— Then light which forms the densities has what we call color, and this color is divided into seven categories of color. Can you tell me, is there a reason or an explanation for these categories of color? Can you tell me something about that?

Ra: I am Ra. This will be the last complete question of this session as this instrument is low on vital energy. We will answer briefly, and then you may question further in consequent sessions.

The nature of the vibratory patterns of your universe is dependent upon the configurations placed upon the original material, or Light, by the focus, or Love, using Its intelligent energy to create a certain pattern of illusions, or densities, in order to satisfy Its own intelligent estimate of a method of knowing Itself. Thus the colors, as you call them, are as strait, or narrow, or necessary as is possible to express, given the will of Love.”

In response to Don’s question Ra gave two answers. If we look at the teleological sense of the purpose, principle, or goal of the Creator, the Creator existed before light was created since the Creator is everywhere at all times. No act of the Creator brings It into existence. It just always is. Ra’s second answer affirmed the correctness of Don’s assumption that the central core of the Milky Way Galaxy, or Logos, became visible to our third-density eyes when the Creator made it. In 28.1, Ra first gave us these two principles and called them unpotentiated intelligent infinity and potentiated intelligent infinity:

Questioner: I may be backtracking a little bit and make a few false starts today because I think we are at possibly the most important part of what we are doing in trying to make it apparent, through questioning, how everything is one, and how it comes from one intelligent infinity. This is difficult for me to do, so please bear with my errors in questioning.

The concept that I have right now of the process, using both what you have told me and some of Dewey Larson’s material having to do with the physics of the process— I have the concept that intelligent infinity expands outward from all locations everywhere. It expands outward in every direction uniformly like the surface of a balloon or a bubble, expanding outward from every point everywhere. It expands outward at what’s called unit velocity, or the velocity of light. This is Larson’s idea of the progression of what he calls space/time. Is this concept correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This concept is incorrect, as is any concept of the one intelligent infinity. This concept is correct in the context of one particular Logos, or Love, or focus of this Creator which has chosen Its, shall we say, natural laws and ways of expressing them mathematically and otherwise.

The one undifferentiated intelligent infinity, unpolarized, full and whole, is the macrocosm of the mystery-clad being. We are messengers of the Law of One. Unity, at this approximation of understanding, cannot be specified by any physics but only be activated, or potentiated, intelligent infinity due to the catalyst of free will. This may be difficult to accept. However, the understandings we have to share begin and end in mystery.

This morning I enjoyed the third recording of Carla giving a synopsis of Chapter Three in her Living the Law of One 101: The Choice. This was a treasure trove experience of her most perceptive view of various facets of the Law of One. In one of these facets she was talking about our energy bodies that are associated with our chakras. She said that the Creator’s Consciousness provides the Love that connects our energy bodies to our physical body which gives us life in this third density.

Later in the morning I began to repot two Aloe Vera plants that were in the far back corner of the area behind the kitchen. They have always been very large plants and seemed to have outgrown their pot so that there were many dead leaf fronds that I needed to remove from each major stem. Then I cut the stems off so that the end was pointed and could be inserted into the pot after I dug up the soil deeply enough to receive the stem securely. Eventually I got all the healthy Aloe stems replanted in the two pots, and was glad that I had decided to rescue these two old timers, one of which gave me the only aloe bloom I have ever seen about 15 years ago. It was about three feet tall, yellow, and in a Christmas tree form.

The Arid Seedcases Of Words

I greet you in the consciousness of the love of Jesus Christ.

I am the spirit of that love among the nations of the world, the force which carries the single concept of love in the clumsy containers of words to all who may have ears to hear.

Yet how can words wake up to the aliveness of the spirit, which cannot be contained within the arid seedcases of words? It is a great temptation to speak only in poetry, only in stories, to attempt to evoke feelings beyond words, emotion beyond concept.

For though we offer knowledge, it is not knowledge of words but knowledge of faith. For the full consciousness of love evokes an assurance and a delight. If you feel not these things, ask again for the spirit’s comfort, that you may know the love of Jesus Christ and reflect it in your life; that you, too, may carry in awkward seedcases the living and fructifying love of Christ to all who have ears to hear.
