I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 73.20:

“Questioner: It seems to me that the primary thing of importance for those on the service-to-others path is the development of an attitude which I can only describe as vibration. This attitude would be developed through meditation, ritual, and a developing appreciation for the creation or Creator which results in a state of mind that can only by me be expressed as an increase in vibration or oneness with all. Could you expand and correct that statement?

Ra: I am Ra. We shall not correct this statement but shall expand upon it by suggesting that to those qualities you may add the living day by day, and moment by moment, for the true adept lives more and more as it is.”

In his question Don is describing what we as seekers can do to maximize our journey of seeking unity with the One Creator “through meditation, ritual, and a developing appreciation for the creation or Creator”. One way this may be done is by patiently and persistently practicing what Carla used to call a “rule of life.” The purpose would be to continually direct our energy towards the One Creator until we have raised the level of our vibrations to the point that our seeking becomes a very basic part of the fiber of our being. It becomes the foundation of our day. After Carla and I were married in 1987, I joined her in her Morning Offering where we meditated, read from the Bible, the Ra Material, and other spiritual books. I still begin my days with my Morning Offering as each of these Camelot Journal entries reflects.

Then Ra said that at some point the seeker becomes the adept as it concentrates on its beingness, or as Ra put it, “the true adept lives more and more as it is.” In 75.23, Don asked Ra to expand upon this statement:

Questioner: You made the statement in a previous session that the true adept lives more and more as it is. Will you explain and expand upon that statement?

Ra: I am Ra. Each entity is the Creator. The entity, as it becomes more and more conscious of its self, gradually comes to the turning point at which it determines to seek either in service to others or in service to self. The seeker becomes the adept when it has balanced, with minimal adequacy, the energy centers red, orange, yellow, and blue, with the addition of the green for the positive, thus moving into indigo work.

The adept then begins to do less of the preliminary, or outer, work having to do with function, and begins to effect the inner work which has to do with being. As the adept becomes a more and more consciously crystallized entity it gradually manifests more and more of that which it always has been since before time: that is, the One Infinite Creator.

And in 73.10, Ra explained more of the work of the adept to “become that which it seeks”:

Questioner: In invoking the alerted light, then, it would seem to me that the visualization of the invocation would be dependent upon what the use was to be of the light. The use could be for healing, could be for communication, or it could be for the general awareness, you might say, of the creation and the Creator. Would you please speak on this process and my correctness in making this assumption?

Ra: I am Ra. We shall offer some thoughts, though it is doubtful that we may exhaust this subject. Each visualization, regardless of the point of the working, begins with some work within the indigo ray. As you may be aware, the ritual which you have begun is completely working within the indigo ray. This is well, for it is the gateway. From this beginning, light may be invoked for communication or for healing.

You may note that in the ritual which we offered you to properly begin the Ra workings the first focus is upon the Creator.

We would further note a point which is both subtile and of some interest. The upward spiraling light developed in its path by the will, and ultimately reaching an high place of mating with the inward fire of the One Creator, still is only preparation for the work upon the mind/body/spirit which may be done by the adept. There is some crystallization of the energy centers used during each working so that the magician becomes, more and more, that which it seeks.

More importantly, the time/space mind/body/spirit analog, which is evoked as the magical personality, has its only opportunity to gain rapidly from the experience of the catalytic action available to the third-density space/time mind/body/spirit. Thus the adept is aiding the Creator greatly by offering great catalyst to a greater portion of the creation which is identified as the mind/body/spirit totality of an entity.

This is the first day of our new year, and Mother Nature gave me the day off from any outside work as rain began in the early morning and continued steadily throughout the day. So I answered emails, did my weekly shopping at Kroger’s, meditated, read more of the Law of One, did a bit of dancing, and took my speed walk while carrying my trusty umbrella. I am looking forward to 2022 being a year in which the population of Mother Earth can find more love in their hearts and see the Creator in each other.

The Banquet Of Life

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the consciousness of divine love.

I greet you this day in merriment and laughter, joy and freedom. I invite you to the banquet of life. Gaze at the table spread before you: the delicious zest of challenges yet unmet; the wonderful nourishment of companions, friends and family; the spice of those whom you shall meet but not understand—those most contrary flavors that often make the meal and bless the feast—and, above all, the beauty of the banquet hall.

Gaze about you today in prayerful thanksgiving for the beauties that love has made.

You are a perfect and divine part of a perfect and divine creation. And that which you see before your eyes may be feast or famine. Ask of yourself that you choose what you shall see. And if you choose to see the riches of the creation of the Father, great riches indeed shall you see.

“Questioner: I’ll make a general statement which you can correct. The way I see the overall picture of healer and patient is that the one to be healed has, because of a blockage in one of the energy centers or more—but we will just consider one particular problem—because of this energy center blockage, the upward spiraling light that creates one of the seven bodies has been blocked from the maintenance of that body, and this has resulted in a distortion from the perfection of that body that we call disease, or a bodily anomaly, which is other than perfect.

The healer, having suitably configured its energy centers, is able to channel light, the downward pouring light, through its properly configured energy situation to the one to be healed. If the one to be healed has the mental configuration of acceptance of this light, the light then enters the physical complex and re-configures the distortion that was created by the original blockage. I am sure that I have made some mistakes in that. Would you please correct them?

Ra: I am Ra. Your mistakes were small. We would not, at this time, attempt a great deal of refinement of that statement as there is preliminary material which will undoubtedly come forward. We may say that there are various forms of healing. In many, only the energy of the adept is used. In the exercise of fire some physical complex energy is also channeled.

We might note further that when the one wishing to be healed, though sincere, remains unhealed, as you call this distortion, you may consider pre-incarnative choices; and your more helpful aid to such an entity may be the suggestion that it meditate upon the affirmative uses of whatever limitations it might experience. We would also note that in these cases the indigo-ray workings are often of aid.

Other than these notes we do not wish to further comment upon your statement at this working.”

In this question Ra was satisfied with Don’s description of the blockages of energy centers being the cause of distortions that might require the attention of a healer. Ra also seemed satisfied with Don’s description of the healers’ ability to unblock its own energy centers as being necessary for it to function as a healer. This seems to be an example of “Physician, heal thyself” in action. The “energy of the adept” refers to healer’s ability to contact intelligent infinity and interrupt the red/violet ray protective shell around the physical body that holds in place whatever the nature of disease/health that the entity currently is experiencing. When this protective shell has been interrupted, then it is possible for the one to be healed to accept a new/healed configuration of energy centers. In 66.9, Ra gave more details on how the new/healed configuration is achieved:

Questioner: Now as the healer approaches an other-self to do the healing we have a situation where the other-self has, through programming of catalyst, possibly created a condition which is viewed as a condition needing healing. What is the situation, and what are the ramifications of the healer acting upon a condition of programmed catalyst to bring about healing?

Am I correct in assuming that in doing this healing, the programmed catalyst is useful to the one to be healed in that the one to be healed then becomes aware of what it wished to become aware of in programming the catalyst? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. Your thinking cannot be said to be completely incorrect but shows a rigidity which is not apparent in the flow of the experiential use of catalyst.

The role of the healer is to offer an opportunity for realignment, or aid in realignment, of either energy centers or some connection between the energies of mind and body, spirit and mind, or spirit and body. This latter is very rare.

The seeker will then have the reciprocal opportunity to accept a novel view of the self, a variant arrangement of patterns of energy influx. If the entity, at any level, desires to remain in the configuration of distortion which seems to need healing, it will do so. If, upon the other hand, the seeker chooses the novel configuration, it is done through free will.

This is one great difficulty with other forms of energy transfer in that they do not carry through the process of free will as this process is not native to yellow ray.

The “physical complex energy” Ra spoke of that is mentioned regarding the exercise of fire is a lesser kind of healing where the healer uses some of their own energy to bring about a balancing of the energy centers which results in healing as Ra mentioned in 73.22:

Each begins with some sense of the self as Creator or in some way the magical personality being invoked. This may be consciously or unconsciously done. Firstly, that exercise of which we have spoken called the exercise of fire: this is, though physical energy transfer, not that which is deeply involved in the body complex combinations. Thusly the transfer is subtle and each transfer unique in what is offered and what is accepted. At this point we may note that this is the cause for the infinite array of possible energy transfers.

Ra also suggested that if no healing is achieved that the entity’s pre-incarnative choices might be responsible for putting the disease/distortion in place in order that certain lessons could be learned by the entity. This was the case with Carla’s arthritis being pre-incarnatively chosen as the means by which she would be forced to focus on the inner world of meditation, prayer, and channeling. In 60.4 and 60.8, Ra confirmed that the limitations that Carla experienced due to her arthritis were pre-incarnatively chosen:

Questioner: You are saying then that the physical distortions that the instrument experienced are part of a balancing process? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect. The physical distortions are a result of the instrument’s not accepting fully the limitations, placed prior to incarnation, upon the activities of the entity once it had begun the working. The distortions caused by this working, which are inevitable given the plan chosen by this entity, are limitation and—to a degree consonant with the amount of vital and physical energy expended—weariness due to that which is the equivalent in this instrument of many, many hours of harsh physical labor.

This is why we suggested the instrument’s thoughts dwelling upon the possibility of its suggesting to its higher self the possibility of some slight reservation of energy at a working. This instrument, at this time, is quite open until all resources are quite exhausted. This is well, if desired. However, it will, shall we say, shorten the number of workings in what you may call the long run.

Questioner: What would she do then in order to alleviate these problems?

Ra: I am Ra. As we have said, this instrument, feeling that it lacked compassion to balance wisdom, chose an incarnative experience whereby it was, of necessity, placed in situations of accepting self in the absence of other-selves’ acceptance, and the acceptance of other-self without expecting a return or energy transfer. This is not an easy program for an incarnation but was deemed proper by this entity.

This entity, therefore, must needs meditate and consciously, moment by moment, accept the self in its limitations which have been placed for the very purpose of bringing this entity to the precise tuning we are using.

Further, having learned to radiate acceptance and love without expecting return, this entity now must balance this by learning to accept the gifts of love and acceptance of others, which this instrument feels some discomfort in accepting. These two balancing workings will aid this entity in the release from the distortion called pain. The limitations are, to a great extent, fixed.

While I was working with the leaves in the yard yesterday I noticed that there were many small and medium-sized tree limbs down in various parts of the yard. So this morning I went outside and filled two garbage cans with these limbs. In the afternoon I used my trimmer to weed the moss garden of that tiny light green vine that tends to cover the moss. Then I used my backpack blower to blow this vine dust off of the moss garden. My last job of the afternoon was to vacuum the first floor of the house.

The Tightrope Of The Present Moment

I am the spirit of infinite love and I greet you in the full consciousness of the love of Jesus the Christ.

What has the spirit to say to one who gazes upon the seeming end of one experience and the seeming beginning of a new experience? The spirit of love says at all times—and we would emphasize it this day—that each day is the New Year. Each day is the end of what has been.

These divisions of dark and light, warmth and cold, joy and penitence have been formed by the human mind and heart in response to the unimaginable complexities of the cycles of the natural world which you enjoy.

Yet we speak with the voice of love. Let this day, then, be to you all that it truly is: the ending of that which is past, the release of that which has caused pain and the forgiveness of that which has caused displacement from love in yourself and in all whom you meet.

Let this day be a celebration of peace. For within you all that keeps you from peace is your hard heart condemning the past and fearing the future. Release those judgments. They have nothing to do with the spirit and everything to do with those blockages that keep the seeking heart from the revelation of comfort and peace.

Know ye that outer peace shall never evolve until enough of your peoples find peace within. Balance, my children, upon the tightrope of the present moment in glad and fearless balance. For in this the spirit is your guide and your balance. We ask you to trust, not in what has been, not in what shall be, but in the being of all that there is. Bless it and celebrate it at the present moment.

“Questioner: Could you tell me how this transfer of light, I believe it would be, would affect the patient to be healed?

Ra: I am Ra. The effect is that of polarization. The entity may or may not accept any percentage of this polarized life-energy which is being offered. In the occasion of the laying on of hands, this energy is more specifically channeled, and the opportunity for acceptance of this energy similarly more specific.

It may be seen that the King’s Chamber effect is not attempted in this form of working but, rather, the addition to one whose energies are low the opportunity for the building up of those energies. Many of your distortions called illnesses may be aided by such means.”

In the question previous to this one Don was talking about the adept contacting intelligent infinity (for the purpose of channeling it to the green-ray energy center for healing) and also using the upward spiraling energy (also known as intelligent energy or prana) and channeling it to the green-ray energy center for healing. He wanted to know how the one to be healed would be affected by this combination of the two different healing energies. Ra replied that the effect would be that of polarization and the building up of the energies that are low in the one to be healed. Ra also mentioned that the one to be healed could accept or reject any percentage of these life energies as Ra mentioned in 66.9:

Ra also mentioned that the King’s Chamber effect was not used in this type of healing. The King’s Chamber effect automatically interrupts the red/violet protective shell and spreads out the light from all seven of the energy centers so that the adept can specifically affect any areas in need of healing. In 56.6-.6, Don and Ra explored more of the healing potential of the King’s Chamber effect:

 Questioner: I will make a statement that you can correct. I intuitively see the spiraling energy of the Giza pyramid being spread out as it moves through the so-called King’s Chamber and then refocusing in the so-called Queen’s Chamber. I am guessing that the spread of energy in the so-called King’s Chamber is seen in the spectrum of colors, red through violet, and that the energy centers of the entity to be healed should be aligned with this spread of the spectrum so that the spectrum matches the various energy centers. Can you correct this statement?

Ra: I am Ra. We can correct this statement.

Questioner: Would you please do that?

Ra: The spiraling energy is beginning to be diffused at the point where it goes through the King’s Chamber position. However—although the spirals continue to intersect, closing and opening in double spiral fashion through the apex angle—the diffusion or strength of the spiraling energies, red through violet color values, lessens if we speak of strength, and gains if we speak of diffusion until at the peak of the pyramid you have a very weak color resolution useful for healing purposes.

Thus the King’s Chamber position is chosen as the first spiral after the centered beginning through the Queen’s Chamber position. You may visualize the diffusion angle as the opposite of the pyramid angle, but the angle being less wide than the apex angle of the pyramid, being somewhere between 33 and 54°, depending upon the various rhythms of the planet itself.

Ra completed their answer by saying that the laying on of hands also offered the one to be healed a more specific opportunity to accept the healing that is offered by the healer. In 1.11-.12, it seems that those of Ra suggested this process of the laying on of hands to energize Carla after the Ra session was over and she had re-entered her body:

Questioner: Will you be available for communication? Can we call on you in the future?

Ra: I am Ra. We have good contact with this instrument because of her recent experiences with trance. She is to be able to communicate our thoughts in your future. However, we advise care in disturbing the channel for a few moments, and then the proper procedure for aiding an instrument who has, to some extent, the need of re-entering the mind/body/spirit complex which the instrument has chosen for the life experience of this time/space. Do you understand how to nurture this instrument?

Questioner: No. Could you explain it?

Ra: We suggest first a brief period of silence.

Then the repetition of the instrument’s vibratory complex of sound in your density which you call name. Repeat until an answer is obtained.

Then the laying on of the hands at the neck region for a brief period so that the instrument may recharge batteries which are not, shall we say, full of the essence of this particular field at this time.

And finally, a gift of water into which the love of all present has been given. This will restore this entity, for her distortions contain great sensitivity towards the vibrations of love, and the charged water will effect comfort.”

This afternoon I used my backpack blower to blow the few remaining leaves in the entire yard into three piles, one in the side yard and one on both ends of the back yard. I was able to get all of the leaves into three garbage cans which I will put out for yard waste pickup next week. This should be the last work I will do with leaves for the season.

 I noticed a couple of unusual flowers coming up that usually wait until spring to do so. The Lenten Rose had actual buds showing and the Surprise Lilies had little leaves beginning to poke out of the soil. This is obviously the product of a very warm beginning of winter in our area with temperatures recently in the 60s and 70s for record highs around Christmas.

Drop The Rags Of Everyday

I am of the spirit of that principle of love which was in Jesus the Christ. I greet you in that full consciousness of divine love.

How this instrument wrestles with its seeming imperfections! How reluctant is this instrument to bathe in the clean waters of forgiveness and move, then, cleanly and clad in white, into the sanctuary of the spirit’s meeting with self, body and spirit.

How many words it takes to deny the clear and shining perfection, the result of one moment of dreaming, to the cleansing, the whitening, the purification of the channel which is your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual self!

Shall you now let go of woe?

For this instant, see yourself as you are seen by the Christ-light, as a holy, perfect and acceptable infinite portion of an infinite creation that is, nevertheless, all one being.

We say to you in meditation, “Drop the rags of everyday. Dip in the pool of returning. Clad yourselves in robes of sufficiency and perfect love, and then, my children, wait. For that which comes to you may come in an instant, in an hour, or in a lifetime.”

Move yourself to the clean body, the cleanly desire and the focused love of Creator with child and of child with most beloved parent. These things you do, you do for yourself. Each turn to holiness you do as a celebration of love.

We leave you in the peace which lies beneath the struggle to see the sun. In sure knowledge that this peace shall come upon you as you turn to the light of Christ, we leave you in the light of that peace, now and ever. Amen.

“Questioner: What was the orientation with respect to this type of communication for the one known as Jesus of Nazareth?

Ra: I am Ra. You may have read some of this entity’s workings. It offered itself as teacher to those mind/body/spirit complexes which gathered to hear, and even then spoke as through a veil so as to leave room for those not wishing to hear. When this entity was asked to heal, it oft times did so, always ending the working with two admonitions: firstly, that the entity healed had been healed by its faith, that is, its ability to allow and accept changes through the violet ray into the gateway of intelligent energy; secondly, saying always, “Tell no one.” These are the workings which attempt a maximal quality of free will while maintaining fidelity to the positive purity of the working.”

In the previous question Don was discussing how evangelists, as Ra said, “generate positive changes in consciousness while abridging free will. This causes the blockage of the magical nature of the working except in those cases wherein an entity freely desires to accept the working of the evangelist, as you have called it.” So in this question Don asked Ra how Jesus went about his healing. Ra said that when Jesus completed the healing process he always said that the one to be healed had been healed by its faith, which Ra equated to the one to be healed’s “ability to allow and accept changes through the violet ray into the gateway of intelligent energy.” Then Jesus would tell the one that had been healed to “Tell no one.” Ra suggested these two qualities recognized the free will of the one to be healed as well as preserve the positive purity of the working. In 66.10, Ra gave the general principle that all healers, including Jesus, follow in their healing practice:

Questioner: What is the difference, philosophically, between a mind/body/spirit complex healing itself through mental, shall I say, configuration or it being healed by an healer?

Ra: I am Ra. You have a misconception. The healer does not heal. The crystallized healer is a channel for intelligent energy which offers an opportunity to an entity that it might heal itself.

In no case is there an other description of healing. Therefore, there is no difference as long as the healer never approaches one whose request for aid has not come to it previously. This is also true of the more conventional healers of your culture, and if these healers could but fully realize that they are responsible only for offering the opportunity of healing, and not for the healing, many of these entities would feel an enormous load of misconceived responsibility fall from them.

In 66.14, Ra explained how healing occurs in time/space and involves the indigo body for children as well as adults:

Questioner: Would you explain that last comment about the configuration in time/space?

Ra: I am Ra. Healing is done in the time/space portion of the mind/body/spirit complex, is adopted by the form-making, or etheric, body and is then given to the space/time physical illusion for use in the activated yellow-ray mind/body/spirit complex. It is the adoption of the configuration which you call health by the etheric body in time/space which is the key to what you call health, not any event which occurs in space/time.

In this process you may see the transdimensional aspect of what you call will, for it is the will, the seeking, the desire of the entity which causes the indigo body to use the novel configuration and to reform the body which exists in space/time. This is done in an instant and may be said to operate without regard to time.

We may note that in the healing of very young children there is often an apparent healing by the healer in which the young entity has no part. This is never so, for the mind/body/spirit complex in time/space is always capable of willing the distortions it chooses for experience no matter what the apparent age, as you call it, of the entity.

In 4.20, Ra suggested that healing was one of the primal distortions of the Law of One:

One of the primal distortions of the Law of One is that of healing. Healing occurs when a mind/body/spirit complex realizes, deep within itself, the Law of One; that is, that there is no disharmony, no imperfection; that all is complete and whole and perfect. Thus, the intelligent infinity within this mind/body/spirit complex re-forms the illusion of body, mind, or spirit to a form congruent with the Law of One. The healer acts as energizer or catalyst for this completely individual process.

This morning I went back out to the moss garden and continued pulling the small tufts of grass out of the ground with my trowel. I took me about an hour to get another third of the moss garden thusly weeded, as I had done the first third yesterday. So I returned in the afternoon and did the last third of this very intensive work as there were hundreds of these little tufts of grass to remove from the moss garden in order to keep it from being overrun by grass.

Blessings

We of the principle of love are with you and we greet you in the name of love: love unconditional; love divine; love infinite.

It is sometimes difficult in the daily round to perceive the glory of the creation. Take time this day to touch in mind and heart the beauties of scenery, character, grace and wit which refresh the weary soul.

Indeed, there are naught but blessings for the faithful. And all those things which seem difficult are blessings, much as the life experience itself, though difficult, is indeed a time of blessing, learning and achieving for the spirit within.

Let not those things which are below lose the reflection of that which is divine. For all things are instinct with the divine life of unconditional and perfect love.

We leave you in the name of Jesus Christ, in that love and peace, to create your experience this day as one of blessing and affirmation, now and forever. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 73.11-.12:

“Questioner: Desire and will are key factors in the process. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. We would add one quality. In the magical personality desire, will, and polarity are the keys.

Questioner: I would then assume that the many so-called evangelists which we have in our society at present, many have great desire and very great will, and possibly great polarity. It seems to me that in some cases that there is a lack of information, or awareness, that creates a less-than-effective working in the magical sense. Am I correct in this analysis?

Ra: I am Ra. You are partially correct. In examining the polarity of a service-to-others working, the free will must be seen as paramount. Those entities of which you speak are attempting to generate positive changes in consciousness while abridging free will. This causes the blockage of the magical nature of the working except in those cases wherein an entity freely desires to accept the working of the evangelist, as you have called it.”

In the previous questions in this session Don was investigating the magical personality. In this question Don asked Ra if the evoking of the magical personality that was discussed in the previous question was a function of the adept’s desire and will. Ra agreed with desire and will being important and then added polarity as the third necessary ingredient for invoking the magical personality. It makes sense that the desire of the magician or adept would be the primary quality that would determine the nature and purpose of a magical working. These would all be imbued with the general statement of any magician which is, “I seek to know in order to serve.” Then, of course, it would be necessary for the magician to have a very strong will that could focus the mind in a way that would be similar to a pencil’s drawing in the utilization of any visualization that would be part of the established ritual in order to achieve the desired results of the working. And the polarity of the magician would determine whether the eventual outcome would be service-to-others and, therefore white magic, or if the eventual outcome would be serviced-to-self, and therefore black magic. In 75.32, Ra gave more depth to our understanding of the magical personality by revealing its three basic aspects:

Questioner: The three aspects of the magical personality are stated to be power, love, and wisdom. Is this correct, and are these the only primary aspects of the magical personality?

Ra: I am Ra. The three aspects of the magical personality—power, love, and wisdom—are so called in order that attention be paid to each aspect in developing the basic tool of the adept: that is, its self.

It is by no means a personality of three aspects. It is a being of unity, being of sixth density, and equivalent to what you call your higher self and, at the same time, is a personality enormously rich in variety of experience and subtlety of emotion.

The three aspects are given that the neophyte not abuse the tools of its trade but, rather, approach those tools balanced in the center of love and wisdom and thus seeking power in order to serve.

And in 75.39, Ra suggested that meditation on these aspects was helpful in developing one’s magical personality, especially for Don, Carla, and myself as each one of us personified one of these aspects:

Questioner: Then is it correct that a good sequence for developing the invocation of the magical personality are alternate meditations, first on power, then a meditation on love, and then a meditation on wisdom, and to continue cycling that way? Is that an appropriate technique?

Ra: I am Ra. This is indeed an appropriate technique. In this particular group there is an additional aid in that each entity manifests one of these qualities in a manner which approaches the archetype. Thusly visualization may be personalized and much love and support within the group generated.

Then Don and Ra discussed a type of magician in our religious culture that is called the evangelist. Don granted that many of our so-called evangelists have all of these qualities active in their ministries, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on the reason that such entities do not have particularly effective magical workings. Ra solved the riddle by suggesting that the granting of free will is most important to any white magical working, and evangelists, by trade, are attempting to gain converts by abridging their free will. Ra then suggested that this abridging of free will blocks the magical nature of the evangelist’s working which would be to create a change in the consciousness of its listeners and followers. I am assuming this abridging is accomplished by something like the threat of burning in hell if one didn’t adhere to the evangelist’s idea of a righteous life. In 87.8, Ra gave an example of the free will of followers that has been abridged by the leader of a group such as an evangelist would be:

Questioner: A reflection of this could be seen in our density in many of those leaders that instigate war and have followers who support, in total conviction that the direction of conquest is correct. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. Any organization which demands obedience without question upon the basis of relative power is functioning according to the above-described plan.

This morning I took advantage of the overnight rains and decided to pull the little tufts of grass that are growing in many places in the moss garden. So I used a little trowel that has a V cut out of its blade making it very easy to surround and uproot these little mounds of grass which are an inch or two in diameter. It was chilly enough outside that I only stayed out for about half an hour and got about a quarter of the moss garden weeded.

This afternoon I went over to southern Indiana to visit a dear friend of Carla’s and mine who now lives in a care home as a result of suffering two strokes two years ago. This was her birthday, and I met up with her daughter to have a little birthday party in her room, compete with gifts, cake, and ice cream. Then we watched the first episode of Star Trek Discovery which I had never heard of before since I don’t watch television. It was quite well written and kept your attention focused on the characters and the plot.

Let Jesus’ Heart Be Yours

I am of the principle of love and I greet you in the consciousness of Jesus the Christ.

All praise and glory be to the Lord of creation! Imagine the immensity of the galaxies, the infinity of the reaches of orderly, free-wheeling space and see in this immensity the great glory of the Holy One.

Know that you are part of that glory, for you, too, are a creation of the holy Father and a child of the Creator of all things.

Let Jesus’ heart be yours, then, and let the glory of the Father come upon you like the fire of the spirit of Jesus; move along your limbs like fire; move along your lips like fire, that you may utter those things which may be of service and that you may reach your hands in that same service, therefore adding to that great glory which daily grows, the glory of God in Christ.

“Questioner: In invoking the alerted light, then, it would seem to me that the visualization of the invocation would be dependent upon what the use was to be of the light. The use could be for healing, could be for communication, or it could be for the general awareness, you might say, of the creation and the Creator. Would you please speak on this process and my correctness in making this assumption?

Ra: I am Ra. We shall offer some thoughts, though it is doubtful that we may exhaust this subject. Each visualization, regardless of the point of the working, begins with some work within the indigo ray. As you may be aware, the ritual which you have begun is completely working within the indigo ray. This is well, for it is the gateway. From this beginning, light may be invoked for communication or for healing.

You may note that in the ritual which we offered you to properly begin the Ra workings the first focus is upon the Creator.

We would further note a point which is both subtile and of some interest. The upward spiraling light developed in its path by the will, and ultimately reaching an high place of mating with the inward fire of the One Creator, still is only preparation for the work upon the mind/body/spirit which may be done by the adept. There is some crystallization of the energy centers used during each working so that the magician becomes, more and more, that which it seeks.

More importantly, the time/space mind/body/spirit analog, which is evoked as the magical personality, has its only opportunity to gain rapidly from the experience of the catalytic action available to the third-density space/time mind/body/spirit. Thus the adept is aiding the Creator greatly by offering great catalyst to a greater portion of the creation which is identified as the mind/body/spirit totality of an entity.”

Don’s query to Ra assumed that the ritual of invocation of the light that would be chosen by the adept would be dependent upon what the purpose of the invocation would be. The light being invoked is the light that is available to anyone seeking adepthood, and Don is querying Ra for more information about the Banishing Ritual of the Lesser Pentagram that we used to protect our meditation room and the room that we used for the sessions with Ra. Ra responded by saying that all such rituals, no matter their purpose, will begin in the indigo ray because it is the “gateway” ray, the ray that can lead to union with the Creator in violet ray and can produce healing, communication, and enhancing one’s experience of being the Creator. In 76.4, Don asked Ra if our use of the Banishing Ritual of the Lesser Pentagram was effective:

Questioner: Has our use of the Banishing Ritual of the Lesser Pentagram been of any value, and what is its effect?

Ra: I am Ra. This group’s use of the Banishing Ritual of the Lesser Pentagram has been increasingly efficacious. Its effect is purification, cleansing, and protection of the place of working.

The efficacy of this ritual is only beginning to be, shall we say, at the lower limits of the truly magical. In doing the working, those aspiring to adepthood have done the equivalent of beginning the schoolwork, many grades ahead.

For the intelligent student this is not to be discouraged; rather to be encouraged is the homework, the reading, the writing, the arithmetic, as you might metaphorically call the elementary steps towards the study of being.

It is the being that informs the working, not the working that informs the being. Therefore, we may leave you to the work you have begun.

Then Ra mentioned that the Circle of One which they gave us to begin the Ra sessions remains completely focused upon the One Creator, for those of Ra came specifically to teach the Law of One, the Law of the One Infinite Creator. In 2.6, Ra gave us the Circle of One to begin each of the Ra sessions:

Questioner: Consider them asked. I mean, I don’t have anything to go on. What is the proper use of this instrument? What should we do to maximize her ability to . . . comfort, rejuvenation, etc.?

Ra: I am Ra. We are pleased that you asked this question, for it is not our understanding that we have the right/duty to share our perceptions on any subject but philosophy without direct question. However, this mind/body/spirit [complex] is not being correctly used and therefore is experiencing unnecessary distortions of body in the area of fatigue.

The vibrations may well be purified by a simple turning to the Circle of One and the verbal vibration while doing so of the following dialogue:

Question: “What is the Law?”

Answer: “The Law is One.”

Question: “Why are we here?”

Answer: “We seek the Law of One.”

Question: “Why do we seek Ra?”

Answer: “Ra is an humble messenger of the Law of One.”

Both together: “Rejoice then, and purify this place in the Law of One. Let no thought-form enter the circle we have walked about this instrument, for the Law is One.”

Then Ra revealed the ultimate truth: that all of this work in indigo and violet rays is still just preparation for the further work that is possible for the adept. As the adept continues in its practice of invoking the light in such rituals, and in living the spiritual life, there is a crystallization that takes place within the adept that allows it to not only seek and find that which it seeks, but it also allows the adept to become that which it seeks. In 75.23, Ra elaborated more on this concept:

Questioner: I am sorry for the confusion. Sometimes, as you say, sound vibration complexes are not very adequate, and I’m sorry.

You made the statement in a previous session that the true adept lives more and more as it is. Will you explain and expand upon that statement?

Ra: I am Ra. Each entity is the Creator. The entity, as it becomes more and more conscious of its self, gradually comes to the turning point at which it determines to seek either in service to others or in service to self. The seeker becomes the adept when it has balanced, with minimal adequacy, the energy centers red, orange, yellow, and blue, with the addition of the green for the positive, thus moving into indigo work.

The adept then begins to do less of the preliminary, or outer, work having to do with function, and begins to effect the inner work which has to do with being. As the adept becomes a more and more consciously crystallized entity it gradually manifests more and more of that which it always has been since before time: that is, the One Infinite Creator.

And for a more advanced example of the adept becoming what it seeks, those of Ra have not only sought the light for eons of time, but they have become the light as they said in 64.6:

 Questioner: Could you describe or tell me of rituals or technique used by Ra in seeking in the direction of service?

Ra: I am Ra. To speak of that which sixth-density social memory complexes labor within in order to advance is at best misprision of plain communication, for much is lost in transmission of concept from density to density, and the discussion of sixth density is inevitably distorted greatly.

However, we shall attempt to speak to your query, for it is an helpful one in that it allows us to express once again the total unity of creation. We seek the Creator upon a level of shared experience to which you are not privy, and rather than surrounding ourselves in light, we have become light. Our understanding is that there is no other material except light. Our rituals, as you may call them, are an infinitely subtle continuation of the balancing processes which you are now beginning to experience.

We seek now without polarity. Thus we do not invoke any power from without, for our search has become internalized as we become light/love and love/light. These are the balances we seek, the balances between compassion and wisdom which, more and more, allow our understanding of experience to be informed that we may come closer to the unity with the One Creator which we so joyfully seek.

Your rituals at your level of progress contain the concept of polarization, and this is most central at your particular space/time.

And even more importantly, if that is possible, such rituals of invocation of the light allow the higher self and mind/body/spirit totality of the entity to directly experience the catalyst of third density, so that they may also experience further rapid growth of their own and enhance the Creator’s knowing of Itself. This is possible because the third density contains catalyst that is 100 times as intense as the catalyst in any other density as Ra mentioned in 20.24:

Questioner: Can you tell me why nine hundred years is the optimum life span?

Ra: I am Ra. The mind/body/spirit complex of third density has perhaps one hundred times as intensive a program of catalytic action from which to distill distortions and learn/teachings than any other of the densities. Thus the learn/teachings are most confusing to the mind/body/spirit complex which is, shall we say, inundated by the ocean of experience.

During the first, shall we say, perhaps 150 to 200 of your years, as you measure time, a mind/body/spirit complex is going through the process of a spiritual childhood, the mind and the body not enough in a disciplined configuration to lend clarity to the spiritual influxes. Thus, the remaining time span is given to optimize the understandings which result from experience itself.

This afternoon I decided to rake up the excess leaf dust between the fish pond and the pet cemetery and put it in a wheelbarrow so I could spread it in the areas between the house and driveway, directly behind the house, and between the giant sycamore tree and the garage. I used my leaf rake to rake it up and a square blade shovel to load it into the wheelbarrow. I used the shovel to roughly spread the leaf dust and then used the rake to even out the application. These areas were too small to use my big mower in to crunch leaves into dust, and I want as much of my yard to have the fertilizing effect of the leaf dust as possible as it has already helped the grass to grow in the larger areas of the yard where I could use my big mower. In all I spread about two- and one-half wheelbarrow loads in these three areas.

Where Christ Awaits You

I am of that principle known to you as Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of love divine.

We find this instrument’s mind this day a muddle of year-end business: things to be done, things to finish up for the old year, things to begin for the new. Her mind is not resting in the past or the future or the present but footling between them, attempting to make perfect that which has already been imperfectly perceived, while the attempt goes on in the future also to shape and position each prop and piece of business, that the stage of the future may be set well and performed upon perfectly. The present moment hardly exists in such a frame of mind.

Truly we grasp that in the darkness of your winter cycle it is well to put the old to rest and to welcome the new. But this day we ask you, in the spirit of divine love, to seat yourself first upon the holy ground of the present moment where Christ awaits you, meekly, humbly and without noise, silently, in the depths of your heart, in the inner room of the present moment. This is Christ the King, kneeling patiently and waiting for you to open the door.

May this feeling of presence be with you in love and in peace everlasting. Amen.

“Questioner: Then will you speak of the difference between the spiraling light that enters through the feet and the light invoked through the crown chakra?

Ra: I am Ra. The action of the upward spiraling light drawn by the will to meet the inner light of the One Infinite Creator may be likened to the beating of the heart and the movement of the muscles surrounding the lungs and all the other functions of the parasympathetic nervous system. The calling of the adept may be likened to those nerve and muscle actions over which the mind/body/spirit complex has conscious control.

Questioner: Previously you stated—I believe I’m correct in saying this—that where the two directions meet you have a measure, let us say, of the development of any particular mind/body/spirit complex. Am I correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.”

In the first question Don asked Ra what the difference was between the spiraling light that enters through the feet and the light invoked through the crown chakra. Ra answered by using an analogy of the upward spiraling light being akin to the beating of our heart and functioning of our lungs which operate on their own as does our parasympathetic nervous system. Then they likened the light invoked through the crown chakra as being similar to the “calling of the adept” or the “nerve and muscle action over which the entity has conscious control”. In 54.27, Ra described these two types of energy in slightly different terms that give us a wider viewpoint on their functioning:

The origin of all energy is the action of Free Will upon Love. The nature of all energy is Light. The means of its ingress into the mind/body/spirit complex is duple.

Firstly, there is the inner light which is Polaris of the self, the guiding star. This is the birthright and true nature of all entities. This energy dwells within.

The second point of ingress is the polar opposite of the North Star, shall we say, and may be seen, if you wish to use the physical body as an analog for the magnetic field, as coming through the feet from the earth and through the lower point of the spine.

This point of ingress of the universal light energy is undifferentiated until it begins its filtering process through the energy centers. The requirements of each center, and the efficiency with which the individual has learned to tap into the inner light, determine the nature of the use made by the entity of these instreamings.

In his second question Don asked Ra to confirm that where these two energies meet you “have a measure of the development of any particular mind/body/spirit complex”, and Ra agreed. In 49.6, Ra elaborated on how this process works for each seeker of truth:

Questioner: What process would be the recommended process for correctly awakening, as they say, the kundalini, and of what value would that be?

Ra: I am Ra. The metaphor of the coiled serpent being called upwards is vastly appropriate for consideration by your peoples. This is what you are attempting when you seek. There are, as we have stated, great misapprehensions concerning this metaphor and the nature of pursuing its goal. We must generalize and ask that you grasp the fact that this, in effect, renders far less useful that which we share. However, as each entity is unique, generalities are our lot when communicating for your possible edification.

We have two types of energy. We are attempting, then, as entities in any true color of this octave, to move the meeting place of inner and outer natures further and further along, or upward along, the energy centers. The two methods of approaching this with sensible method are first, the seating within one’s self of those experiences which are attracted to the entity through the south pole. Each experience will need to be observed, experienced, balanced, accepted, and seated within the individual. As the entity grows in self-acceptance and awareness of catalyst, the location of the comfortable seating of these experiences will rise to the new true-color entity. The experience, whatever it may be, will be seated in red ray and considered as to its survival content and so forth.

Each experience will be sequentially understood by the growing and seeking mind/body/spirit complex in terms of survival, then in terms of personal identity, then in terms of social relations, then in terms of universal love, then in terms of how the experience may beget free communication, then in terms of how the experience may be linked to universal energies, and finally in terms of the sacramental nature of each experience.

Meanwhile the Creator lies within. In the north pole the crown is already upon the head and the entity is potentially a god. This energy is brought into being by the humble and trusting acceptance of this energy through meditation and contemplation of the self and of the Creator.

Where these energies meet is where the serpent will have achieved its height. When this uncoiled energy approaches universal love and radiant being the entity is in a state whereby the harvestability of the entity comes nigh.

Today was a Sabbath Day of Rest, and, again, I continued my work on the talk that I will be giving next year to a group in Virginia. I plan to continue this pattern for a while until I am more comfortable with the talk. Then I answered some emails from friends before having lunch. After lunch I made my usual errand run to pick up food for the kittie cats at Feeder’s Supply, and then I stopped by both Kroger’s and Paul’s Fruit Market to get some food for myself. In the afternoon I answered an email from a special friend who wanted my opinion on an essay that he had written on the path of the spiritual seeker of truth.

Christ’s Divine Care

I am the spirit of the full consciousness of love. I greet you in the divine love of Jesus the Christ.

It is considered desirable by you to retain your spiritual point of view as you go through the experiences of your daily rounds of activity. And, indeed, we have always encouraged this attempt.

It may perhaps be seen that the reciprocal needs also the attention. That is, it is well to bring the seemingly mundane, everyday experiences of daily life into the holy atmosphere of divine meeting and contemplation.

For if life can be lifted up by thought, then its means of lifting comes not only from the higher idea to the lower manifestation but from manifestation gazing back upon that which is unmanifest and perfect.

In this way, those things which do not feel blessed may be brought into the circle of Christ’s divine care. And raveled and frayed though things may be, yet still all is comforted within that divine purview of love.

May we offer and leave you in the peace and the joy of the love of Jesus Christ, now and ever. Amen.

“Questioner: I will undoubtedly make many errors in my statements today because what I am going to do is try to guess at how this works and let you correct me.

In considering the exercise of the Middle Pillar I have thought it to be wrong in that the adept sees or visualizes light moving downward from the crown chakra down to the feet. Ra has stated that the Creator enters from the feet and moves upward, and that this spiraling light enters from the feet and moves upward. It seems to me that an adept alerting light strength, in visualizing the use of this, would visualize it entering in the direction of the feet and energizing first the red energy center and moving upward through the energy centers in that fashion. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. No.

Questioner: Could you tell me how I am wrong in that statement?

Ra: I am Ra. Yes.

Questioner: Would you please do that?

Ra: I am Ra. There are two concepts with which you deal. The first is the great way of the development of the light in the microcosmic mind/body/spirit. It is assumed that an adept will have its energy centers functioning smoothly and in a balanced manner, to its best effort, before a magical working.

All magical workings are based upon evocation and/or invocation. The first invocation of any magical working is that invocation of the magical personality, as you are familiar with this term. In the working of which you speak, the first station is the beginning of the invocation of this magical personality which is invoked by the motion of putting on something. Since you do not have an item of apparel or talisman, the gesture which you have made is appropriate.

The second station is the evocation of the great cross of life. This is an extension of the magical personality to become the Creator.

Again, all invocations and evocations are drawn through the violet energy center. This may then be continued towards whatever energy centers are desired to be used.”

In a previous question about the Banishing Ritual of the Lesser Pentagram Ra told us that in this ritual the One Creator entered the energy centers of the magician from the feet and the red-ray energy center, so there was no need to have protection at the level of the floor. Now Don asks about another ritual called the Middle Pillar where the light energy is visualized as moving down from the adept’s crown chakra to the feet. Don asked if this was wrong, and should the visualization of the light of the Creator be from the feet upward as in the Banishing Ritual of the Lesser Pentagram? Ra said that was incorrect. The reason is that the adept, after opening all its energy centers and balancing them, would then invoke the magical personality. This is usually done by putting on a talisman such as a ring, but we simply used a gesture of reaching above our heads and putting on a “robe,” you might say, or a mantle. In 75.36, Ra said that the higher self and the magical personality are two names for the same concept:

When the magical personality is properly and efficaciously invoked, the self has invoked its higher self. Thus a bridge betwixt space/time and time/space is made, and the sixth-density magical personality experiences directly the third-density catalyst for the duration of the working.

It is most central to deliberately take off the magical personality after the working in order that the higher self resume its appropriate configuration as analog to the space/time mind/body/spirit.

So since the adept in the Middle Pillar exercise is invoking the magical personality, which is also the higher self, the light energy being invoked would flow downward from the crown to whatever energy center is being worked with because Ra said “all invocations and evocations are drawn through the violet energy center”. The difference between the Banishing Ritual of the Lesser Pentagram and the Middle Pillar exercise is that in the Banishing Ritual the Creator is being invoked, so It would come in through the feet, or the south pole, but in the Middle Pillar exercise the magical personality is being invoked, and it would come in through the violet ray. In 73.10, Ra explains how, in such rituals such as the Banishing Ritual of the Lesser Pentagram and the Middle Pillar exercise, both the adept and the magical personality benefit from the rituals:

Questioner: In invoking the alerted light, then, it would seem to me that the visualization of the invocation would be dependent upon what the use was to be of the light. From this beginning, light may be invoked for communication or for healing.

You may note that in the ritual which we offered you to properly begin the Ra workings the first focus is upon the Creator.

We would further note a point which is both subtile and of some interest. The upward spiraling light developed in its path by the will, and ultimately reaching an high place of mating with the inward fire of the One Creator, still is only preparation for the work upon the mind/body/spirit which may be done by the adept. There is some crystallization of the energy centers used during each working so that the magician becomes, more and more, that which it seeks.

More importantly, the time/space mind/body/spirit analog, which is evoked as the magical personality, has its only opportunity to gain rapidly from the experience of the catalytic action available to the third-density space/time mind/body/spirit. Thus the adept is aiding the Creator greatly by offering great catalyst to a greater portion of the creation which is identified as the mind/body/spirit totality of an entity.

Today is Christmas Day. The word Christmas suggests that it is a holy day: The Mass of Christ. For too many the focus on how Jesus realized His own Christ consciousness, or unity with the One Creator, is overshadowed by the commercialization of Christmas into a time of giving gifts of a material sense that play into the hands of the profit margins of the business community.

In that regard, I enjoyed what today’s channeling from the Book of Days had to share about how the spirit within each of us “yearns to be born anew not just on one day of the year but each day of the year”. This quote seems to me to reflect the heart of Christmas:

“Beware of the folly of Christmas and rest your joy not only upon an occasion but upon a continuing and sometimes difficult to fathom stream of events and occasions within which the full spirit and caring of Jesus the Christ shines through. Be you those channels who do not need the occasion to rally themselves to the love of Jesus the Christ.”

The Folly Of Christmas

I am of the principle of the consciousness of love that is in Christ Jesus and I greet you in the full consciousness of our common divinity.

You have experienced the ritual bringing forth, into the world of sense and shadow, the unchangeable light which the darkness cannot quench. And to many who feel saddened this day, we say that it is acceptable to rejoice when the time is at hand and the ceremony of deity and man is celebrated.

But my children, know you this: faced with your humanhood and your clear perception of deity, it is a natural tendency for the spirit within you to be impatient that all days might be those birthdays wherein the spirit is born anew in every conscious being.

Beware of the folly of Christmas and rest your joy not only upon an occasion but upon a continuing and sometimes difficult to fathom stream of events and occasions within which the full spirit and caring of Jesus the Christ shines through. Be you those channels who do not need the occasion to rally themselves to the love of Jesus the Christ.

I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 73.3-.4:

“Questioner: Thank you. We would like to thank Ra at this time for the opportunity to be of service to those on this sphere who would like to have the information that we gain here in this [inaudible].

You stated that free will, one-pointed in service to others, had the potential of alerting a great mass of light strength. I assume that the same holds precisely true for the service-to-self polarity. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect but subtly so. In invocation and evocation of what may be termed negative entities or qualities, the expression alerts the positively oriented equivalent. However, those upon the service-to-others path wait to be called and can only send love.

Questioner: What I was trying to get at was that this alerting of light strength is, as I see it, a process that must be totally a function of free will, as you say. And as the desire, and will, and purity of desire of the adept or operator increases, the alerting of light strength increases. Is this part of it the same for both positive and negative potentials, and am I correct with this statement?

Ra: I am Ra. To avoid confusion we shall simply restate for clarity your correct assumption.

Those who are upon the service-to-others path may call upon the light strength in direct proportion to the strength and purity of their will to serve. Those upon the service-to-self path may call upon the dark strength in direct proportion to the strength and purity of their will to serve.”

In the last couple of sessions, and this one as well, Don is continuing to explore the white magical rituals and concepts that we hoped we could use to begin such practices as a group. In these two questions he is asking Ra about the general way in which both positively and negatively oriented entities can call upon assistance from the “light strength” for the positive polarity and the “dark strength” for the negative polarity. Ra agreed that both positive and negative entities are able to call for assistance from their respective light or dark strengths in direct proportion to their strength and purity of their will to serve others, in the positive case, and to serve the self, in the negative sense. There is a potential problem that can result when a negative entity of the inner planes is invoked by a third-density negative entity that is strongly polarized in the negative sense, as Ra mentioned in 55.4:

There are instances, however, when the contact becomes a contest which is prototypical of negativity. In this contest, the caller will attempt not to ask for aid but to demand results. Since the third-density, negatively oriented, harvestable entity has at its disposal an incarnative experiential nexus, and since Orion Crusaders are, in a great extent, bound by the First Distortion in order to progress, the Orion entity is vulnerable to such bidding, if properly done.

In this case, the third-density entity becomes master, and the Orion Crusader becomes entrapped and can be bid. This is rare. However, when it has occurred the Orion entity or social memory complex involved has experienced loss of negative polarity in proportion to the strength of the bidding third-density entity.

As an interesting aside, Ra may have somewhat misunderstood Don’s first question about if it was possible for negative entities to call upon a “light strength” just as it is possible for positive entities to do so. In Ra’s response they said that when negative entities call forth negative assistance from more powerful negative entities or qualities that the positively oriented entities are also aware of this calling. Ra also said that “those upon the service-to-others path wait to be called and can only send love.” That suggests that as positive entities would become aware of a negative calling they would respond to it by sending love and light to the negative entities. But they would not respond in person, shall we say, as they had not been called. I am guessing that the negative entities would attempt to avoid this light and love as it would be of the opposite polarity to theirs and would depolarize them. In 44.10, Ra described how sending love and light to negative entities was a way of getting them to cease their psychic attacks or greetings:

Questioner: Each of us gets the signals and dreams. I have been aware of clairaudient communication at least once in waking up. Can you suggest a method whereby we might, shall I say, nullify the effect of the influence that we don’t want from a negative source?

Ra: I am Ra. There are various methods. We shall offer the most available or simple. To share the difficult contact with the other-selves associated with this working and to meditate in love for these senders of images and light for self and other-selves is the most available means of nullifying the effects of such occurrences. To downgrade these experiences by the use of intellect or the disciplines of will is to invite the prolonging of the effects. Far better, then, to share in trust such experiences and join hearts and souls in love and light with compassion for the sender and armor for the self.

In 67.26, Ra described how sending love to negative entities would, indeed, depolarize them:

Questioner: Then there is no other service that we can at this time offer that fifth-density entity of the Orion group who is so constantly with us. As I see it now there is nothing that we can do for him from your point of view? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. There is great humor in your attempt to be of polarized service to the opposite polarity. There is a natural difficulty in doing so since what you consider service is considered by this entity non-service. As you send this entity love and light and wish it well it loses its polarity and needs to regroup. Thus it would not consider your service as such.

On the other hand, if you allowed it to be of service by removing this instrument from your midst, you might, perhaps, perceive this as not being of service.

You have here a balanced and polarized view of the Creator: two services offered, mutually rejected, and in a state of equilibrium in which free will is preserved and each allowed to go upon its own path of experiencing the One Infinite Creator.

Today I took my empty garbage cans—thanks to the yard waste fellow taking their leaf content yesterday—and went behind the forsythia bushes, at the boundary with my neighbor, and filled five of them with the remainder of the gingko leaves that I had raked into piles last week. I also filled my sixth garbage can with small limbs that had blown down in the last week, so now I have six more garbage cans for the yard waste pickup next week. Today was also the day to feed the fish in the pond as the professional pond cleaner mentioned on his last visit that was more appropriate than the every other day feeding schedule that I had them on. My last job of the day was to vacuum the first floor of the house.

The Manger Within

I am of the principle of divine love and I greet you in the full consciousness of that love.

We find this instrument’s mind revolving not about things of the spirit but about the processes the day shall bring, each item more wonderful and precious than the next, for this day is the eve of the mass of the Christ child, the mass welcoming the new child to birth, the new soul to its walk in the valley of death from which death alone may free him or any which dwell in this body of dust and clay.

May you truly rejoice to know that within yourselves lies a manger. Most of your mangers are poor. Most of them are humble. Most of you have not prepared a way and so must improvise when the Son of Man comes, when the gates of your heart are opened.

This is a time of coming into being. This is a time for you to make anew the welcome of the self towards that tiny, delicate, precious, new spiritual being which shall indwell each spiritual womb.

May you find the peace of Jesus’ mother and know that your spirit follows not the commands of the world but the commands of that consciousness in which He and all of your spirits partake.

May you wend you way in peace and the hope of glory within, now and ever. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 72.17:

“Questioner: Why is there no protection at the floor, or bottom, of the banishing ritual, and should there be?

Ra: I am Ra. This will be the last full query of this working.

The development of the psychic greeting is possible only through the energy centers starting from a station which you might call within the violet ray, moving through the adept’s energy center and therefrom towards the target of opportunity. Depending upon the vibratory nature and purpose of greeting, be it positive or negative, the entity will be energized, or blocked, in the desired way.

We of Ra approach this instrument in narrow-band contact through violet ray. Others might pierce down through this ray to any energy center. We, for instance, make great use of this instrument’s blue-ray energy center as we are attempting to communicate our distortion-understandings of the Law of One.

The entity of Orion pierces the same violet ray and moves to two places to attempt most of its non-physical opportunities. It activates the green-ray energy center while further blocking indigo-ray energy center. This combination causes confusion in the instrument and subsequent over-activity in unwise proportions in physical complex workings. It simply seeks out the distortions pre-incarnatively programmed and developed in incarnative state.

The energies of life itself, being the One Infinite Creator, flow from the south pole of the body, seen in its magnetic form. Thus only the Creator may, through the feet, enter the energy shell of the body to any effect. The effects of the adept are those from the upper direction, and thus the building of the wall of light is quite propitious.

May we ask if there are any shorter queries at this time?”

In this question Don asked Ra if the Banishing Ritual of the lesser Pentagram should have some kind of protection at the floor level as it has protection for all four sides and the top. Ra said that only the Creator could enter an entity from the floor or the red-ray energy center. I believe that here Ra is talking about the intelligent energy or prana that brings us our pre-incarnative choices that are related to each energy center and which are biased by the unconscious mind to help us use our choices of catalyst more effectively. This energy moves up the energy enters until it is blocked, and at the level of the blockage is where the processing of catalyst begins. In 49.6, Ra gave a detailed description of this how this works:

Questioner: What process would be the recommended process for correctly awakening, as they say, the kundalini, and of what value would that be?

Ra: I am Ra. The metaphor of the coiled serpent being called upwards is vastly appropriate for consideration by your peoples. This is what you are attempting when you seek. There are, as we have stated, great misapprehensions concerning this metaphor and the nature of pursuing its goal. We must generalize and ask that you grasp the fact that this, in effect, renders far less useful that which we share. However, as each entity is unique, generalities are our lot when communicating for your possible edification.

We have two types of energy. We are attempting, then, as entities in any true color of this octave, to move the meeting place of inner and outer natures further and further along, or upward along, the energy centers. The two methods of approaching this with sensible method are first, the seating within one’s self of those experiences which are attracted to the entity through the south pole. Each experience will need to be observed, experienced, balanced, accepted, and seated within the individual. As the entity grows in self-acceptance and awareness of catalyst, the location of the comfortable seating of these experiences will rise to the new true-color entity. The experience, whatever it may be, will be seated in red ray and considered as to its survival content and so forth.

Each experience will be sequentially understood by the growing and seeking mind/body/spirit complex in terms of survival, then in terms of personal identity, then in terms of social relations, then in terms of universal love, then in terms of how the experience may beget free communication, then in terms of how the experience may be linked to universal energies, and finally in terms of the sacramental nature of each experience.

Meanwhile the Creator lies within. In the north pole the crown is already upon the head and the entity is potentially a god. This energy is brought into being by the humble and trusting acceptance of this energy through meditation and contemplation of the self and of the Creator.

Where these energies meet is where the serpent will have achieved its height. When this uncoiled energy approaches universal love and radiant being the entity is in a state whereby the harvestability of the entity comes nigh.

Ra also suggested that psychic greetings occur when negative entities enter the unprotected violet ray and move downwards to the energy centers that they wish to either energize or block in order to create the psychic greeting. Our negative friend would energize Carla’s green-ray center causing her to attempt to serve others and be overactive in doing so, and then block her indigo-ray center causing her to feel unworthy and in even more need to serve others to the degree that she would overdo her physical activity and deplete her physical energy even more than it normally was. In 12.31, Ra gave another most detailed explanation of how this type of psychic greeting was accomplished by our negative friend:

Questioner: Is there a best way for these entities to heal themselves of their physical ailments?

Ra: I am Ra. This will be the last complete question of this time/space.

The self-healing distortion is effected through realization of the intelligent infinity resting within. This is blocked in some way in those who are not perfectly balanced in bodily complexes. The blockage varies from entity to entity. It requires the conscious awareness of the spiritual nature of reality, if you will, and the corresponding pourings of this reality into the individual mind/body/spirit complex for healing to take place.

We will use this instrument as example. The portions of its ailment, as you call this distortion complex, that can be perfected in balance are due primarily to a blockage of the indigo-ray, or pineal, energy center. This center receives the intelligent energy from all sources lawful within the One Creation; that is, lawful in this third-density distortion or illusion. If there is no blockage, these energies pour or stream down into the mind/body/spirit complex, perfecting, moment by moment, the individual’s body complex.

This instrument also experiences some distortion of the green-ray energy center which you may call the heart center. It is overly open due to an intensive desire-distortion on the part of this mind/body/spirit complex towards service to others, or as you may call it, universal love. This entity, therefore, spends itself without regard to its reserves of mind/body/spirit-complex distortion in regard to what you call strength or energy. This distortion is primarily due to the blockage of the indigo ray, as we have said before. The misapprehension-distortion of the instrument responsible for this blockage is the basic orientation towards a belief in unworthiness. The unworthiness-distortion blocks the free flow of intelligent energy.

The seventh, or violet, ray is unimpaired, this being not only an energy receptor but a sum total of the vibratory level of the individual. The other energy centers are also quite clear. The solution to healing in this case is action that puts into practice the peaceful understanding, in humility-distortion, that the entity is one with the Creator, therefore perfected and not separate. In each case of what you would call ill health, one or more of these energy centers is blocked. The intelligence of the mind/body/spirit complex needs, then, to be alerted either by the self as healer or by the catalyst of another healer, as we have said before.

Ra said they entered Carla’s violet-ray energy center and moved down to the blue-ray energy center when they were using Carla’s vocal cords and mouth to make words to answer Don’s questions. In 1.0, Ra attempted to transfer their contact from Carla to Don, and they gave Don a description of just where on his head and violet ray they would be making contact:

The instrument will find us entering the energy field at a slight angle towards the back of the top of the head in a narrow but strong area of intensity. We are not able to offer any conditioning due to our own transmitting limitations. Therefore, if the instrument can feel this particular effect he may then speak our thoughts as they come to him. 

This morning I put away the last of the cleaned China plates and cups in the fourth and last of the upper shelving areas in the kitchen. Then I began a series of loads of China pots, cups, pitchers and decorative pieces from the living room, office, hallway, and the shelf above the shower in my bathroom. As the loads of China were going through the dish washer cycles I began cleaning the silver-plated pitchers, pots, and serving trays from these same areas using a cleaner called Tarn-X.

This process went into the afternoon, and by mid-afternoon this cleaning of China, crystal, and silver-plated was complete, having taken three days and eight loads in the dish washer. I also cleaned the resting places of all of these items as another part of this pre-Christmas ritual that Carla asked me to accomplish many years ago, and I continue it in her memory as a part of my celebration of the Christmas season.

To Smile Or To Frown

I am of the principle of divine love. I greet you in the consciousness of Jesus the Christ.

What have we to say about the world as you gaze at it this day? Perhaps today we would wish you to see that which is behind the daily matters which shall parade this day before your eyes.

Many things shall occur within this day and you shall have many opportunities to smile or to frown; to speak the kind word or the harsh one; to react impulsively or to take it easy and gaze at a situation long enough to gauge its total nature.

Perhaps, this day of all rushing Christmas days, we would suggest to each to take the time to slow down and to consider, in all the hustle and bustle, in all the choices that are made, that the great choice is always for merriment and for the expressions of love and sharing. All other considerations of preparation and business have not the priority of offering and manifesting the love of Christ in God.

May you stop and sense that abiding, deep, magical and peaceful presence. And in each choice that you make this day, may that feeling of peace empower and strengthen your ability to choose well your manifestation to the outer world.

You are children of the Most High. May you experience your birthright this day.
