I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 65.20-.21:

“Questioner: I don’t know if this question is related to what I am trying to get at or not, but I’ll ask it and see. You mentioned in speaking of the pyramids that the resonating chamber was used so that the adept could meet the self. Would you explain what you meant by that?

Ra: I am Ra. One meets the self in the center, or deeps, of the being. The so-called resonating chamber may be likened unto the symbology of the burial and resurrection of the body wherein the entity dies to self, and, through this confrontation of apparent loss and realization of essential gain, is transmuted into a new and risen being.

Questioner: Could I make the analogy of, in this apparent death, losing the desires that are the illusory, common desires of third density, and gaining the desires of total service to others?

Ra: I am Ra. You are perceptive. This was the purpose and intent of this chamber as well as forming a necessary portion of the King’s Chamber position’s effectiveness.”

In this question Don asked Ra how the resonating chamber would help the adept to meet the self. The resonating chamber is located just below ground level and also below the Queen’s Chamber position in the Great Pyramid at Giza. From what Ra said about its effect upon the one using it, it sounds like the resonating chamber was a kind of mechanical means to speed up the process of the seeker of truth being able to contact intelligent infinity or the One Creator. The way this contact with the One Creator seems to happen within the resonating chamber is that the adept’s sense of its regular incarnated self dies away and this loss of the old self allows the birth of a “new and risen being.” In 65.22, Ra gave more details as to how this process worked in the resonating chamber:

Questioner: Can you tell me what this chamber did to the entity to create this awareness in him?

Ra: I am Ra. This chamber worked upon the mind and the body. The mind was affected by sensory deprivation and the archetypical reactions to being buried alive with no possibility of extricating the self. The body was affected both by the mind configuration, and by the electrical and piezoelectrical properties of the materials which were used in the construction of the resonating chamber.

This “new and risen being” is what each of us as seekers of truth is attempting to realize throughout our entire incarnation. The resonating chamber allowed this transformation to occur in a single day. Each of us can move more quickly along this same line of devotion to serving others as we meditate daily and seek the heart of our life’s pattern. As a result of such regular meditations we can visualize the extraneous details of our lives dropping from our being as we single-mindedly seek to serve the Creator in all that we experience. Meditation changes people, and we are just a little clearer of purpose and in giving of love each time we enter into the silence within to seek the Creator. In 15.14, Ra basically confirms this process:

Questioner: Yesterday you stated, “The harvest is now. There is not at this time any reason to include efforts upon these distortions toward longevity, but rather to encourage distortions towards the heart of self. For this which resides clearly in the violet-ray energy field will determine the harvest of each mind/body/spirit complex.” Could you tell us how to seek, or the best way to seek, the heart of self?

Ra: I am Ra. We have given you this information in several wordings. However, we can only say the material for your understanding is the self: the mind/body/spirit complex. You have been given information upon healing, as you call this distortion. This information may be seen in a more general context as ways to understand the self.

The understanding, experiencing, accepting, and merging of self with self and with other-self and, finally, with the Creator, is the path to the heart of self. In each infinitesimal part of your self resides the One in all of Its power. Therefore, we can only encourage these lines of contemplation, always stating the prerequisite of meditation, contemplation, or prayer as a means of subjectively/objectively using or combining various understandings to enhance the seeking process. Without such a method of reversing the analytical process, one could not integrate into unity the many understandings gained in such seeking.

Today was a Sabbath Day of Rest. I decided to change the sheets and pillow cases on my bed and also to wash the bed spread and shams on three pillows that match the bed spread. Then at 10 am I had a guest visit me for an hour as he had become aware of the Law of One within the last two years and wanted to thank me for be part of the group that brought the Law of One through. He also shared the nature of his own spiritual journey with me which had evolved from beginning as a Roman Catholic, to a Buddhist and now to a Gnostic. At noon I took my regular errand run and bought cat food at Feeder’s Supply and then stopped in at Paul’s Fruit Market to buy food for myself. Of course I also found plenty of time to read more of the Law of One and meditate a bit more than normal.

Expect Your Good

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

Today we ask you to expect your good. The instrument speaking our thoughts is a living example of this principle. For in expectation of this contact with love, the instrument and her partner placed the recording device, set the proper buttons, placed the microphone in the proper place, and prepared with readings and meditation for inspiration through this contact. Good was expected and prepared for, and now, in this example, the good comes freely, gently, lovingly and surely.

So good comes to all, expected or unexpected. Yet it is well in each and every morning, in each and every beginning, to affirm, hope for and confidently expect the good that is yours.

And when it comes to you, we ask that you accept that good though it may not seem good, knowing that all things work together for the good and seeing in your own experience the good that has come before. In this state of mind, in this expectation of things unseen, you are dressed in the armor of light and hope and the course of your day may be significantly changed, more peaceful, more harmonious. This is what we hope for you. This is what we ask you to expect.

“Questioner: [chuckles] Thank you. The forgetting process was puzzling me because you said that the fourth-density activated people, who were here who had been harvestable, did not have the same forgetting problem. Could you tell me why the wanderer loses his memory?

Ra: I am Ra. The reason is twofold:

First, the genetic properties of the connection between the mind/body/spirit complex and the cellular structure of the body is different for third density than for third/fourth density.

Secondly, the free will of third-density entities needs be preserved. Thus wanderers volunteer for third-density genetic, or DNA, connections to the mind/body/spirit complex.

The forgetting process can be penetrated to the extent of the wanderer remembering what it is, and why it is upon the planetary sphere. However, it would be an infringement if wanderers penetrated the forgetting so far as to activate the more dense bodies and, thus, be able to live, shall we say, in a god-like manner. This would not be proper for those who have chosen to serve.

The new fourth-density entities which are becoming able to demonstrate various newer abilities are doing so as a result of the present experience, not as a result of memory. There are always a few exceptions, and we ask your forgiveness for constant barrages of over-generalization.”

In Session #63, Ra had mentioned that entities were now birthing on Earth who had graduated from other third-density planets. They are incarnating early to help with Earth’s transition into the fourth density, and since they had already graduated they have both their third and fourth-density bodies activated. In 63.13, Ra gave a general description of these entities with doubly-activated third and fourth-density bodies:

In this question Don asked why the wanderers lose their memories of their origins and purpose when they incarnate on Earth. Ra responded by saying that the DNA connections to the body are different for a wanderer than for the doubly activated entities who are here now, and these connections allow a greater access to their advanced abilities for the doubly activated entities whereas the wanderer is only able to remember that it is a wanderer that has come to Earth to be of service to others. It would not be appropriate for the wanderer to remember its full capabilities and live in a seeming god-like manner. This would be an infringement upon the free will of the third-density population of Earth because it would force these entities to behave as the god-like entities rather than exercise their free will and behave in any way that they wished to. In 17.19, Ra described how Jesus remembered more than most wanderers do but how this remembering was both a good and a harmful thing:

Questioner: How did Jesus learn this during his incarnation?

Ra: I am Ra. This entity learned the ability by a natural kind of remembering at a very young age. Unfortunately, this entity first discovered his ability to penetrate intelligent infinity by becoming the distortion you call “angry” at a playmate. This entity was touched by the entity, known as Jesus to you, and was fatally wounded.

Thus the one known as Jesus became aware that there dwelt in him a terrible potential. This entity determined to discover how to use this energy for the good, not for the negative. This entity was extremely positively polarized and remembered more than most wanderers do.

The children with these dually activated bodies are coming here late enough in the cycle that they have far less likelihood of influencing the choices of third-density entities with their paranormal abilities. It is considered a great honor to be able to incarnate upon a troubled planet like Earth because much may be learned in service to others in such an atmosphere. There is much confusion and separation within Earth’s various peoples, and the entities with dually activated bodies then have many, many more ways in which to be of service. In 63.25, Ra said that these entities will continue to be born into more advanced bodies as the Earth evolves more into the fourth density:

Questioner: Then at some time in the future the fourth-density sphere will be fully activated. What is the difference between full activation and partial activation for this sphere?

Ra: I am Ra. At this time the cosmic influxes are conducive to true-color green core particles being formed and material of this nature thus being formed. However, there is a mixture of the yellow-ray and green-ray environments at this time necessitating the birthing of transitional mind/body/spirit complex types of energy distortions.

At full activation of the true-color green density of love, the planetary sphere will be solid and inhabitable upon its own, and the birthing that takes place will have been transformed through the process of time, shall we say, to the appropriate type of vehicle to appreciate in full the fourth-density planetary environment. At this nexus the green-ray environment exists to a far greater extent in time/space than in space/time.

Even though they do have their fourth-density bodies activated they will need to go through the normal death process before returning to begin the fourth-density social memory complex that calls Earth home as Ra said in 63.14:

 Questioner: You are saying, then, that for the transition from third to fourth density for one of the entities with doubly activated bodies, in order to make the transition, the third-density body will go through the process of what we call death. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. The third and fourth, combination, density’s body will die according to the necessity of third-density mind/body/spirit-complex distortions.

We may respond to the heart of your questioning by noting that the purpose of such combined activation of mind/body/spirit complexes is that such entities, to some extent, consciously are aware of those fourth-density understandings which third density is unable to remember due to the forgetting. Thus fourth-density experience may be begun with the added attraction, to an entity oriented towards service to others, of dwelling in a troubled third-density environment and offering its love and compassion.

Thus the light grows ever stronger on Earth to show everyone the way to the density of love and understanding.

Today Diana and I took a speed walk the first thing after she got out of bed and had her banana smoothie. When we returned she showed me how to use the glucometer to determine Boscoe’s level of glucose in his blood if that should ever be necessary in the future. Then I took her to the airport for her 1 pm flight back to her home near Boston. We both had a wonderful time together and are looking forward to future visits. Having her as my best friend is such a treasure.

In the afternoon I used my backpack blower to blow all of the leaves in the front yard and the side yard into position so that I could use my big mower to crunch them into leaf dust. There were many more leaves than usual because the leaves are falling more rapidly now and because it had been nearly a week since I last crunched them. I will be able to go back to my twice a week leaf blowing and crunching now.

The Doorway To Freedom

I am of the principle of Jesus Christ, the love of almighty God, the Creator and preserver of all things. I greet you in that self-same consciousness of love which enlivens the dead and causes the still to dance with joy.

You cling very tenaciously to your ideas of right and wrong and assume that your perceptions operate not only on your own behalf but also on behalf of all. Yet you have not the authority to make that assumption. It is only in the desires and biases of those who contend with you that you may find the doorway to a more gracious concept of rightness which allows the freedom of others to find their own rightness in their own way and at their own time.

How can you know the perceptions of another? How do you dare to assume that you have the perception of Christ? We rebuke you not to break your love of right into little pieces but rather to scatter your presumption in living an unexamined life. Ask for the grace to be given a wider view and I shall be there.

May the peace that you seek be with you always. Amen.

“Questioner: Then we deal with an entity that has not yet formed a social memory but is yet an entity, just as one of us can be called a single entity. Can we continue this observation of the, shall I say, conglomerate entity through the galactic entity, or shall I say, small planetary system type of entity? Let me try to phrase it this way. Could I look at a single sun in its planetary system as an entity and then look at a major galaxy with its billions of stars as an entity? Can I continue this extrapolation in this way?

Ra: I am Ra. You can but not within the framework of third-density space/time.

Let us attempt to speak upon this interesting subject. In your space/time you and your peoples are the parents of that which is in the womb. The earth, as you call it, is ready to be born, and the delivery is not going smoothly. When this entity has become born it will be instinct with the social memory complex of its parents which have become fourth-density positive. In this density there is a broader view.

You may begin to see your relationship to the Logos, or sun, with which you are most intimately associated. This is not the relationship of parent to child but of Creator (that is Logos) to Creator (that is the mind/body/spirit complex as Logos).

When this realization occurs you may then widen the field of “eyeshot,” if you will, infinitely recognizing parts of the Logos throughout the One Infinite Creation and feeling—with the roots of mind informing the intuition—the parents aiding their planets in evolution in reaches vast and unknown in the creation, for this process occurs many, many times in the evolution of the creation as an whole.”

In the previous question Don had gotten an affirmation that his assumption was correct when he said we could see Earth as a “planetary entity as somewhat of a single entity made up of billions of mind/body/spirit complexes.” Now Don asked Ra if he could also see any single sun as such an entity and even more, could he see a major galaxy like our Milky Way Galaxy as a single entity? Ra said that this was indeed possible and the way things really are, but we cannot perceive the nature of this reality within our third-density illusion because, I believe, the veil of forgetting keeps us from such a perception. Ra said that on the planetary scale of our Earth we could see all the population of Earth that will become part of the fourth-density social memory complex as the parents of the fourth-density Earth that is now being born. As we continue our evolution into the fourth density as a planetary consciousness, we will fulfill our role as parents of the new fourth-density Earth in a natural way as we begin to see the automatic flowering and flowing of love between us and the new fourth-density Earth. In 29.6-.10, Ra gave us a little more information regarding how we can interact with our Mother Earth:

 Questioner: Are there any sub-sub-Logos that are found in our planetary system that are “sub” to our sun?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.

Questioner: Would you tell me what one of those— Would you give me an example of one of those, I’ll call sub-sub-Logos?

Ra: I am Ra. One example is your mind/body/spirit complex.

Questioner: Then every entity that exists would be some type of sub- or sub-sub-Logos. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct down to the limits of any observation, for the entire creation is alive.

Questioner: Then the planet which we walk upon here would be some form of sub-sub-Logos. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. A planetary entity is so named only as Logos if it is working in harmonic fashion with entities, or mind/body complexes, upon its surface or within its electromagnetic field.

Questioner: Okay. Do the sub-Logos, such as our sun, do any of them—in our major galaxy—do they have a metaphysical polarity, shall we say, positive or negative as we’ve been using the term?

Ra: I am Ra. As you use the term, this is not so. Entities through the level of planetary have the strength of intelligent infinity through the use of free will, going through the actions of beingness. The polarity is not, thusly, as you understand polarity. It is only when the planetary sphere begins harmonically interacting with mind/body complexes, and more especially mind/body/spirit complexes, that planetary spheres take on distortions due to the thought complexes of entities interacting with the planetary entity.

The creation of the One Infinite Creator does not have the polarity you speak of.”

As this natural process of seeing the true nature of reality continues for us in the fourth density, we also see and feel our true natures as portions of the One Creator. As we move into the higher densities, and activate the corresponding bodies of each density, we gain greatly in our ability to apprehend more of our true natures. Then we can see entities like our sun and similar Logoi all over the creation as vastly expanded entities like ourselves, each of us a portion of the One Creator relating to each other in that manner. We are all potentially “gods” in the making, but very young gods for quite some portion of time. However, we are all on the journey into unity with the One Creator which we will then become at journey’s end. In 74.11, Ra described this transformation:

Questioner: Now, what I am trying to get at is how these disciplines affect the energy centers and the power, shall I say, of the white magician. Could you . . . will you tell me how that works?

Ra: I am Ra. The heart of the discipline of the personality is threefold:

One, know yourself.

Two, accept yourself.

Three, become the Creator.

The third step is that step which, when accomplished, renders one the most humble servant of all, transparent in personality and completely able to know and accept other-selves.

In relation to the pursuit of the magical working, the continuing discipline of the personality involves the adept in knowing itself, accepting itself, and thus clearing the path towards the great indigo gateway to the Creator. To become the Creator is to become all that there is. There is, then, no personality in the sense with which the adept begins its learn/teaching. As the consciousness of the indigo ray becomes more crystalline, more work may be done; more may be expressed from intelligent infinity.

In 16.22-.23, Ra described how this process may manifest as they journey into the seventh density:

Questioner: Thank you very much. In previous material, before we communicated with you, it was stated by the Confederation that there is actually no past or future—all is present. Would this be a good analogy?

Ra: I am Ra. There is past, present, and future in third density. In an overview such as an entity may have, removed from the space/time continuum, it may be seen that in the cycle of completion there exists only the present. We, ourselves, seek to learn this understanding. At the seventh level, or dimension, we shall, if our humble efforts are sufficient, become one with all, thus having no memory, no identity, no past or future, but existing in the all.

Questioner: Does this mean that you would have awareness of all that is?

Ra: I am Ra. This is partially correct. It is our understanding that it would not be our awareness but simply awareness of the Creator. In the Creator is all that there is. Therefore, this knowledge would be available.

Today Diana and I began our day with meditation. Then we took a speed walk over to the Anchorage walking trail that meanders through the beautiful woods and alongside of a little creek that eventually flows into a pond about a hundred yards in diameter. We noticed a number of geese and ducks on the pond and a few other folks walking their dogs along the main trail as well as the smaller trails that cross the main trail here and there. Altogether we probably walked a couple of miles.

After lunch we went shopping at Kroger’s to pick up a few food items that we needed, and then we went to CVS drug store where we found a glucometer that will allow me to check Boscoe’s blood glucose in the event that I need to do that. When we got back home Diana helped me vacuum the first floor of the house as is my usual Friday ritual. She used my little Dyson Ball vacuum, and I used my larger Simplicity vacuum cleaner.

The Man, Jesus

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

Gaze you now within upon a man of love; a man of compassion; a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief; a man who stands your personal friend; a man whom you already love as a personal friend. For such has been his character in all that you have heard about him.

We speak to you of a man, Jesus. The Christ you may worship, but we bring you the man today that you may gaze upon Him and that you may reach out for His hand.

For He is the brother of all humankind and, as you, true son of the Father of all. Think the name, “Jesus,” and the spirit of love shall be with you, for such is the power of that name.

We do not expect each to worship in the same way, to adore in the same fashion, or to offer praise and thanksgiving in the same place. We simply say to you, “Here is one way of gazing upon love. Here is one way of reaching out a hand and becoming one with that comfort.”

For you must have no doubt that this man who is eternal is, in His whole being, shot through with love of all that His Father has made.

May you feel the peace and security of being loved and loving, whether you are alone or in a family. All seekers spend spiritual time alone. Yet, seeker, you need never be alone completely if you may say the name, Jesus.

We leave you in that holy friendship, in that gentle brotherhood, in the ineffable peace of the consciousness of love, now and ever. Amen.

“Questioner: Then each of the wanderers here acts as a function of the biases he has developed in any way he sees fit to communicate—or simply be in his polarity—to aid the total consciousness of the planet.

Is there any, shall I say, more physical way that he aids in— What I mean is, do his vibrations somehow add to the process, just as electrical polarity or charging a battery or something? Does that also aid the planet, just the physical presence of the wanderers?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct, and the mechanism is precisely as you state. We intended this meaning in the second portion of our previous answer.

You may at this time note that as with any entities, each wanderer has its unique abilities, biases, and specialties, so that from each portion of each density represented among the wanderers comes an array of pre-incarnative talents which then may be expressed upon this plane which you now experience; so that each wanderer, in offering itself before incarnation, has some special service to offer in addition to the doubling effect of planetary love and light and the basic function of serving as beacon or shepherd.

Thus there are those of fifth density whose abilities to express wisdom are great. There are fourth- and sixth-density wanderers whose ability to serve as, shall we say, passive radiators or broadcasters of love and love/light are immense. There are many others whose talents brought into this density are quite varied.

Thus wanderers have three basic functions once the forgetting is penetrated, the first two being basic, the tertiary one being unique to that particular mind/body/spirit complex.

We may note at this point while you ponder the possibility/probability vortices, that although you have many, many items which cause distress and thus offer seeking and service opportunities, there is always one container in that store of peace, love, light, and joy. This vortex may be very small, but to turn one’s back upon it is to forget the infinite possibilities of the present moment. Could your planet polarize towards harmony in one fine, strong moment of inspiration? Yes, my friends. It is not probable; but it is ever possible.”

In this question Don asked how wanderers aid planet Earth at the harvest time. Ra responded that the mere presence of wanderers lightens the planetary vibrations in precisely the way Don described the process being like the charging of a car battery. Each wanderer tends to increase the planetary love and light reserves just by being here. They are like lighthouse beacons who point the way to the love and light that may be found in every human heart. In a more specific sense Ra said that wanderers have incarnated with abilities to express the love the fourth density, the wisdom of the fifth density, and the lovelight of the sixth density. In 12.26, Ra gave the basic definition of wanderers and their purpose on Earth:

Questioner: Thank you. Well, you spoke of wanderers. Who are wanderers? Where do they come from?

Ra: I am Ra. Imagine, if you will, the sands of your shores. As countless as the grains of sand are the sources of intelligent infinity.

When a social memory complex has achieved its complete understanding of its desire, it may conclude that its desire is service to others with the distortion towards reaching their hand, figuratively, to any entities who call for aid. These entities, whom you may call the Brothers and Sisters of Sorrow, move towards this calling of sorrow. These entities are from all reaches of the infinite creation and are bound together by the desire to serve in this distortion.

And in 52.9, Ra gave more specific reasons for wanderers to incarnate at the time of harvest on Earth:

Questioner: Well, I would just include the question as to why time of harvest is selected by so many wanderers as time for incarnation?

Ra: I am Ra. There are several reasons for incarnation during harvest. They may be divided by the terms self and other-self.

The overriding reason for the offering of these Brothers and Sisters of Sorrow in incarnative states is the possibility of aiding other-selves by the lightening of the planetary-consciousness distortions and the probability of offering catalyst to other-selves which will increase the harvest.

There are two other reasons for choosing this service which have to do with the self.

The wanderer, if it remembers and dedicates itself to service, will polarize much more rapidly than is possible in the far more etiolated realms of higher-density catalyst.

The final reason is within the mind/body/spirit totality or the social memory complex totality which may judge that an entity, or members of a societal entity, can make use of third-density catalyst to recapitulate a learning/teaching which is adjudged to be less than perfectly balanced. This especially applies to those entering into and proceeding through sixth density wherein the balance between compassion and wisdom is perfected.

When you also consider how many entities with dually activated third and fourth density bodies are here early to help Earth in its harvest one can begin to see the possibilities of Ra’s beautiful reminder that it is ever possible that our planet could “polarize towards harmony in one, fine, strong moment of inspiration”. This is the dream. This is the plan for which all light workers labor. It may see to be an impossible dream, but why try for anything less? First, we dream it. Then we do it. In 26.13, Ra suggested that the “thought must precede the action”:

Questioner: Did the Confederation then step up its program of helping planet Earth sometimes, some time late in this last major cycle? It seems that they did from the previous data, especially with the Industrial Revolution. Can you tell me the attitudes and reasonings behind this step up? Is there any reason other than that they just wanted to produce more leisure time in the last, say, a hundred years of the cycle? Is this the total reason?

Ra: I am Ra. This is not the total reason. Approximately two zero zero [200] of your years in the past, as you measure time, there began to be a significant amount of entities who, by seniority, were incarnating for learn/teaching purposes rather than for the lesser of the learn/teachings of those less aware of the process. This was our signal to enable communication to take place.

The wanderers which came among you began to make themselves felt at approximately this time, firstly offering ideas or thoughts containing the distortion of Free Will. This was the prerequisite for further wanderers which had information of a more specific nature to offer. The thought must precede the action.

Today Diana and I again began our day with meditation. Then we spent some time talking to my veterinarian concerning how we should attempt to reduce Boscoe’s use of prednisone over a period of time, with the hoped for result of curing his diabetes. A while back I misinterpreted the liquid on Boscoe’s mouth as a continuation of his drooling, which the prednisone was designed to heal. The liquid around his mouth was the liquid in the canned cat food, so now we are hopeful that slowly backing away from the dosage of prednisone might result in his diabetes being cured because taking prednisone for too long often causes diabetes in cats. But it is a long and hazardous process since we don’t want his blood sugars to fall too low during this time.

After that conversation we took a speed walk of a mile and a quarter and then continued a more leisurely walk of a couple more miles in an area of Anchorage that has a walking trail and a small creek in a mostly wooded area of great beauty. There was a little wind so many leaves of various colors were raining down all along the way. It was an enlivening experience, and we completed our walk just as it began to rain. We spent the afternoon reading, meditating, and talking to a mutual friend over the phone about some information from the Ra contact.

Great Companies Within

I am the Holy Spirit of our Lord, Jesus Christ, in the vibration which comforts this instrument. I offer you greetings in the consciousness of love.

You who are in distress are urged not to turn to those who would extend and amplify that distress by disharmony or even by sympathy which has as its unconscious purpose the deepening of misery.

Turn instead to the companionship of those who rejoice. Within the depths of the interior of your consciousness lie gateways to great companies of those whose songs are always of praise and thanksgiving. And within your conscious life, the careful ear may hear the steadfast encouragement of those whose minds and hearts are fixed on the love of Christ. For Jesus was a master not of indecision but decision; not of despair but of hope. And even in His moments of trial, He, acknowledging the certainty of human despair, trusted in a greater will than His own and an infinite and ultimately good disposition of all things by and for the Creator.

“Questioner: Well, this entire scenario over the next, shall I say, twenty years seems to be aimed at producing an increase in seeking and an increase in the awareness of the natural creation, but also a terrific amount of confusion. Was it the pre-incarnative objective of many of the wanderers to attempt to reduce this confusion?

Ra: I am Ra. It was the aim of wanderers to serve the entities of this planet in whatever way was requested, and it was also the aim of wanderers that their vibratory patterns might lighten the planetary vibration as a whole, thus ameliorating the effects of planetary disharmony and palliating any results of this disharmony.

Specific intentions such as aiding in a situation not yet manifest are not the aim of wanderers. Light and love go where they are sought and needed, and their direction is not planned aforetimes.”

Continuing his questioning in the areas of Earth changes and wide-spread guerilla warfare in the last days of the third density, Don concluded that these two features will produce an increase in the seeking for truth and an awareness of the planet and its malfunctioning rhythms. But he is concerned that there will also be a lot of confusion, so he asked Ra if Wanderers incarnate with the specific goal of reducing this confusion. Ra suggested that Wanderers don’t incarnate with the idea of solving specific problems before they exist but seek to serve as they are called to serve within the incarnation. However, they do incarnate with the intention that their very presence will lighten the planetary vibrations, and each Wanderer has certain skills that could well be put to use during the incarnation, if the need for them arises. Their services are selfless, and they trust that presenting themselves as servants of the One Infinite Creator will put them in the right place at the right time to accomplish the will of the Creator for all of Its infinite portions. In 65.12, Ra elaborated on the purpose for Wanderer’s incarnations within the third density of Earth:

Questioner: Then each of the wanderers here acts as a function of the biases he has developed in any way he sees fit to communicate—or simply be in his polarity—to aid the total consciousness of the planet.

Is there any, shall I say, more physical way that he aids in— What I mean is, do his vibrations somehow add to the process, just as electrical polarity or charging a battery or something? Does that also aid the planet, just the physical presence of the wanderers?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct, and the mechanism is precisely as you state. We intended this meaning in the second portion of our previous answer.

You may at this time note that as with any entities, each wanderer has its unique abilities, biases, and specialties, so that from each portion of each density represented among the wanderers comes an array of pre-incarnative talents which then may be expressed upon this plane which you now experience; so that each wanderer, in offering itself before incarnation, has some special service to offer in addition to the doubling effect of planetary love and light and the basic function of serving as beacon or shepherd.

Thus there are those of fifth density whose abilities to express wisdom are great. There are fourth- and sixth-density wanderers whose ability to serve as, shall we say, passive radiators or broadcasters of love and love/light are immense. There are many others whose talents brought into this density are quite varied.

Thus wanderers have three basic functions once the forgetting is penetrated, the first two being basic, the tertiary one being unique to that particular mind/body/spirit complex.

In 52.9, Don asked Ra why so many Wanderers incarnate during the time of harvest on Earth:

Questioner: Well, I would just include the question as to why time of harvest is selected by so many wanderers as time for incarnation?

Ra: I am Ra. There are several reasons for incarnation during harvest. They may be divided by the terms self and other-self.

The overriding reason for the offering of these Brothers and Sisters of Sorrow in incarnative states is the possibility of aiding other-selves by the lightening of the planetary-consciousness distortions and the probability of offering catalyst to other-selves which will increase the harvest.

There are two other reasons for choosing this service which have to do with the self.

The wanderer, if it remembers and dedicates itself to service, will polarize much more rapidly than is possible in the far more etiolated realms of higher-density catalyst.

The final reason is within the mind/body/spirit totality or the social memory complex totality which may judge that an entity, or members of a societal entity, can make use of third-density catalyst to recapitulate a learning/teaching which is adjudged to be less than perfectly balanced. This especially applies to those entering into and proceeding through sixth density wherein the balance between compassion and wisdom is perfected.

Today Diana and I once again began our day with meditation and then some conversation about how some of our mutual friends have been doing of late. At about mid-morning we ran a couple of errands to pick up some greenie pockets at PetSmart that I can give Boscoe his meds in so that I won’t have to put them in his food and make his food taste bitter. Then we were off to Best Buy where we bought a screen protector for my cell phone as the old one had cracked and come apart. After lunch we meditated again and then took a speed walk through the beautiful neighborhood that I live in which is now full of the multi-colored leaves of the trees that are so abundant here. The sky was cerulean blue with no clouds in sight, and the temperature was in the mid-60s, a perfect fall day.

The Inner Room Of Thanksgiving And Prayer

I am the spirit of the consciousness of Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of that love.

We move through timelessness to the point of entry which is the opening of this instrument’s spirit to the inner room of thanksgiving and prayer. And we find that within the inner room of this child are many things that do not belong in such a holy closet.

Why is your meditation not set apart from the things that distress and worry you? When you enter the house of prayer, why do you not shut the door upon the tatters and barking dogs of mundane concern? Think you that by carrying them upon your back into holy places, you shall bless and sanctify petty concerns? Petty concerns shall never be sanctified but only transformed by a simpler and stronger understanding of the value and importance of love.

If you come to listen, to ask, and to be fed with holy things, then come with a light heart, empty arms, and no burden upon your back. For that which is spiritual will not grow in the soil of familiar problems but must have the soil of quiet, darkness and patience.

How patient is the King of Love! Though His heart is full, His empty hands stretch out to the spirit of one who prays in the house of silence.

Let your inner room, then, be such a house and let your opening into the realm of spiritual things be uncluttered by the concern that you are not wise enough to observe as a being under the dominion of a powerful and triumphant love.

Can you comment on the effectiveness of this type of catalyst and the rather wide pre-knowledge of the coming changes, but also the rather wide variation in, shall I say, explanation for these changes?

Ra: I am Ra. Given the amount of strength of the possibility/probability vortex which posits the expression by the planet itself of the difficult birthing of the planetary self into fourth density, it would be greatly surprising were not many which have some access to space/time [Ra may have meant time/space.] able to perceive this vortex. The amount of this cold cereal in the grocery, to use our previous analogy, is disproportionately large. Each which prophesies does so from an unique level, position, or vibratory configuration. Thus biases and distortions will accompany much prophecy.”

Don had been told by Ra in a previous answer in this session that Earth changes and guerilla warfare will be two catalysts that could possibly cause people, who had not been spiritual seekers before these catalysts occurred, to begin seeking spiritually after experiencing these catalysts. Ra mentioned these possibilities in 65.6:

Questioner: Would the coming changes as we progress into fourth density—I’m speaking of changes not only in the physical third-density planet due to the heating effect but also the changes that are heralding fourth-density vibrations, such as the ability of people to perform what we term paranormal activities—I’m assuming that both of these are also and will act as catalyst to create a greater seeking. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is partially correct. The paranormal events occurring are not designed to increase seeking but are manifestations of those whose vibratory configuration enables these entities to contact the gateway to intelligent infinity. These entities capable of paranormal service may determine to be of such service on a conscious level. This, however, is a function of the entity and its free will and not the paranormal ability.

The correct portion of your statements is the greater opportunity for service due to the many changes which will offer many challenges, difficulties, and seeming distresses within your illusion to many who then will seek to understand, if we may use this misnomer, the reason for the malfunctioning of the physical rhythms of their planet.

Moreover, there exist probability/possibility vortices which spiral towards your bellicose actions. Many of these vortices are not of the nuclear war but of the less annihilatory but more lengthy so-called conventional war. This situation, if formed in your illusion, would offer many opportunities for seeking and for service.

In this question Don is wondering how the great variety of prophecies concerning Earth changes can affect people’s perception of them. Ra replied that since these Earth changes are such a strong probability it is understandable that many psychics would see them in the Earth’s future. In an earlier query about Edgar Cayce’s predictions Ra likened the probabilities of these Earth changes as to various kinds of cereal in the grocery store and the changes as similar to our breakfast. Just which cereal will be chosen is unknown, but that we will breakfast upon Earth changes is most probable. Then Ra suggested that each psychic will have certain biases of the personality and the method of accessing future possibilities, and this is where the variance in prophecies comes in. Ra suggested in 65.9, that it is better to look to the general nature of the prophecies rather than the specifics of the time of occurrence or the kind of Earth change predicated:

The value of prophecy must be realized to be only that of expressing possibilities. Moreover, it must be, in our humble opinion, carefully taken into consideration that any time/space viewing—whether by one of your time/space, or by one such as we who view the time/space from a dimension, shall we say, exterior to it—will have a quite difficult time expressing time measurement values. Thus prophecy given in specific terms is more interesting for the content, or type, of possibility predicted than for the space/time nexus of its supposed occurrence.

Even those of Ra admitted having difficulty in making accurate prophecies as they said in 40.8:

Questioner: Then what will be the time of transition on this planet from third to fourth density?

Ra: I am Ra. This is difficult to estimate due to the uncharacteristic anomalies of this transition. There are at this space/time nexus beings incarnate which have begun fourth-density work. However, the third-density climate of planetary consciousness is retarding the process. At this particular nexus the possibility/probability vortices indicate somewhere between one hundred [100] and seven hundred [700] of your years as transition period. This cannot be accurate due to the volatility of your peoples at this space/time.

Today Diana and I started our day with meditation and then moved on to my reading to her some of Lee Horstman’s book on Jewish Mysticism and the Law of One. We were both fascinated by his depth of understanding of the concepts involved in both ways of seeking and serving the One Creator. After sharing lunch, we took a speed walk followed by her updating my iPhone which has been having problems lately. She also gave me some good advice on how to help Dana’s kitties, especially Boscoe when it comes to giving him his medications. It might help him out to give him his bitter tasting meds in greenie pouches rather than in his food.

Love One Another

I am of the principle of the love of Jesus Christ. I greet you in that full consciousness which is the Logos: love.

Love one another, my friends. The Comforter may comfort as it can. But it is only a voice which speaks in the darkness of the interior of the mind. It is only heard when faith and hope allow the inner ear to hear.

Be of good cheer, therefore and be comforted in the knowledge that it is completely up to you to ask for comfort, wisdom or succor, or to refrain and attempt living upon the energy of humankind, which is finite.

You will find that as you open yourself to the comfort that is behind the shut door of your meditative heart, you will more and more desire to be in that state of consciousness which is aware of unconditional and infinite love. All the turmoils of humankind are born and pass away, but your spirits shall be comforted in joy, in hope, in faith, and in peace, as you request it, as you desire it, and as you have the grace to accept it.

In this question Don asked Ra if our change from the third into the fourth density will be enhanced by the geophysical changes as well as people’s increasing ability to perform paranormal activities or effects. Ra suggested that the paranormal abilities are noteworthy only in that people who are able to perform them have these powers because of their ability to contact intelligent infinity. The paranormal abilities are far less important that the choice of the people with them to use them to be of service to others. In 83.23, Ra gave a general outline as to how paranormal abilities are affected by the planets and can be used to be of service to others:

Questioner: You mentioned earlier that the tarot was a method of divination. Would you explain that?

Ra: I am Ra. We must first divorce the tarot as a method of divination from this Major Arcana as representative of twenty-two archetypes of the archetypical mind.

The value of that which you call astrology is significant when used by those initiated entities which understand, if you will pardon the misnomer, the sometimes intricate considerations of the Law of Confusion. As each planetary influence enters the energy web of your sphere, those upon the sphere are moved much as the moon which moves about your sphere moves the waters upon your deeps.

Your own nature is water in that you as mind/body/spirit complexes are easily impressed and moved. Indeed, this is the very fiber and nature of your journey and vigil in this density: to not only be moved but to instruct yourself as to the preferred manner of your movement in mind, body, and spirit.

Therefore, as each entity enters the planetary energy web each entity experiences two major planetary influxes: that of the conception—which has to do with the physical, yellow-ray manifestation of the incarnation—and that of the moment you call birth when the breath is first drawn into the body complex of chemical yellow ray.

Thus those who know the stars and their configurations and influences are able to see a rather broadly drawn map of the country through which an entity has traveled, is traveling, or may be expected to travel, be it upon the physical, the mental, or the spiritual level. Such an entity will have developed abilities of the initiate which are normally known among your peoples as psychic or paranormal.

When the archetypes are shuffled into the mix of astrologically oriented cards which form the so-called Court Arcana and Minor Arcana, these archetypes become magnetized to the psychic impressions of the one working with the cards, and thusly become instruments of a linkage between the practitioner of the astrological determinations and divinations and the one requesting information.

Oft times such archetypical representations will appear in such a manner as to have seemingly interesting results, meaningful in configuration to the questioner. In and of themselves the Major Arcana have no rightful place in divination, but rather are tools for the further knowledge of the self by the self for the purpose of entering a more profoundly, acutely realized present moment.

Ra said that it was far more likely that the geophysical changes such as earthquakes, volcanoes, drought, flooding, etc. scattered around the globe would cause people to ask what all this means? Why is planet Earth seeming to malfunction on such a grand scale? Today many people would attribute this type of planetary malfunction to global warming and the production of far more carbon dioxide than is healthy for the planet as it absorbs sunlight and increases the global temperature of the planet. In 60.20, Ra describes how bellicose activity also creates heat that is destructive to the planet:

Questioner: Thank you. In trying to understand the energies—creative energies—it has occurred to me that I really do not understand why unusable heat is generated as our earth moves from third into fourth density. I know it has to do with disharmony between the vibrations of third and fourth density, but why this would show up as a physical heating within the earth is beyond me. Can you enlighten me on that?

Ra: I am Ra. The concepts are somewhat difficult to penetrate in your language. However, we shall attempt to speak to the subject.

If an entity is not in harmony with its circumstances it feels a burning within. The temperature of the physical vehicle does not yet rise, only the heat of the temper or the tears, as we may describe this disharmony. However, if an entity persists for a long period of your space/time in feeling this emotive heat and disharmony, the entire body complex will begin to resonate to this disharmony, and the disharmony will then show up as the cancer or other degenerative distortions from what you call health.

When an entire planetary system of peoples and cultures repeatedly experiences disharmony on a great scale, the earth under the feet of these entities shall begin to resonate with this disharmony. Due to the nature of the physical vehicle, disharmony shows up as a blockage of growth or an uncontrolled growth, since the primary function of a mind/body/spirit complex’s bodily complex is growth and maintenance.

In the case of your planet, the purpose of the planet is the maintenance of orbit and the proper location or orientation with regards to other cosmic influences. In order to have this occurring properly the interior of your sphere is hot, in your physical terms. Thus, instead of uncontrolled growth you begin to experience uncontrolled heat and its expansive consequences.

Then Ra added a third source of increased catalyst as Earth transitions into the fourth density: warfare. Back in 1981, Ra could see the kind of guerilla warfare occurring that today we call terrorism. Ra suggested that this situation, and many other disharmonious situations, would also provide many ways for people to be of service to others. In 63.14-.15, Ra mentioned that there are entities here now that have made the graduation into the fourth density on other planets and have come here early to help with these many problems:

Questioner: You are saying, then, that for the transition from third to fourth density for one of the entities with doubly activated bodies, in order to make the transition, the third-density body will go through the process of what we call death. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. The third and fourth, combination, density’s body will die according to the necessity of third-density mind/body/spirit-complex distortions.

We may respond to the heart of your questioning by noting that the purpose of such combined activation of mind/body/spirit complexes is that such entities, to some extent, consciously are aware of those fourth-density understandings which third density is unable to remember due to the forgetting. Thus fourth-density experience may be begun with the added attraction, to an entity oriented towards service to others, of dwelling in a troubled third-density environment and offering its love and compassion.

Questioner: Would the purpose in transitioning to Earth prior to the complete changeover then be for the experience to be gained here during the harvesting process?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. These entities are not wanderers in the sense that this planetary sphere is their fourth-density home planet. However, the experience of this service is earned only by those harvested third-density entities which have demonstrated a great deal of orientation towards service to others. It is a privilege to be allowed this early an incarnation as there is much experiential catalyst in service to other-selves at this harvesting.

Could enough suffering on a mass scale cause Earth’s population to do what Ra referred to in 65.12:

We may note at this point while you ponder the possibility/probability vortices, that although you have many, many items which cause distress and thus offer seeking and service opportunities, there is always one container in that store of peace, love, light, and joy. This vortex may be very small, but to turn one’s back upon it is to forget the infinite possibilities of the present moment. Could your planet polarize towards harmony in one fine, strong moment of inspiration? Yes, my friends. It is not probable; but it is ever possible.

However, it seems more likely that the harvest will be small as Ra stated in 13.23:

Questioner: How does a third-density planet become a fourth-density?

Ra: I am Ra. This will be the last full question.

The fourth density is, as we have said, as regularized in its approach as the striking of a clock upon the hour. The space/time of your solar system has enabled this planetary sphere to spiral into space/time of a different vibrational configuration. This causes the planetary sphere to be able to be molded by these new distortions. However, the thought-forms of your people during this transition period are such that the mind/body/spirit complexes of both individual and societies are scattered throughout the spectrum instead of becoming able to grasp the needle, shall we say, and point the compass in one direction.

Thus, the entry into the vibration of love, sometimes called by your people the vibration of understanding, is not effective with the present societal complex. Thus, the harvest shall be such that many will repeat the third-density cycle. The energies of your wanderers, your teachers, and your adepts at this time are all bent upon increasing the harvest. However, there are few to harvest.

This morning I decided to get the last of my outside work done before I pick up my friend at the airport this afternoon. So I used my backpack blower to blow the leaves from the front yard and side yard into position so that I could use my big mower to crunch them into leaf dust. I also remembered that when we have the first fall freezes the tires on my car need to be inflated to their normal 32 psi. I was glad that I remembered that because all four tires were around 20 psi. Then I took my speed walk and got a bath before having lunch, meditating, and then heading to the airport.

Come, Holy Spirit

I am the spirit of the Son of Man. I am the consciousness of divine love. I come to you and I come to all in every moment, saying, “Comfort! Comfort be with each.”

The principle of love is that which touches and comforts, nurtures and nourishes. Yet comfort and love are meek and will humbly wait to be asked to enter the heart, to heal the soul, and to bind up the wounds of sorrow and time.

We ask that you say to the spirit of love, “Come, Holy Spirit, enter the hearts of your faithful.” This invitation is your comfort to love itself, for when love asks for love, the whole creation sings with joy.

May peace and comfort be yours, for they are yours for the asking, whoever you are, whatever you believe. It matters naught but only that you have faith in love.

I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 65.4:

“Questioner: I noticed that you are speaking more slowly than usual. Is there a reason for this?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument is somewhat weak and, although strong in vital energy and well able to function at this time, is somewhat more fragile than the usual condition we find. We may note a continuing bearing of the physical distortion called pain which has a weakening effect upon physical energy. In order to use the considerable store of available energy without harming the instrument we are attempting to channel even more narrow-band than is our wont.”

The most immediately obvious and noteworthy feature of the Ra contact was the slowness of Ra’s speaking and their careful enunciation of each syllable of each word. There was virtually no inflection of any word which made it difficult for me to determine when one sentence ended and another began. I was always amazed that not only could Don understand what Ra had just said, but then he was always able to come up with an intelligent follow up question. In 15.1 Ra described the nature of their speaking:

We communicate at a set rate which is dependent upon our careful manipulation of this instrument. We cannot be more, as you would say, quick. Therefore, you may ask questions speedily, but the answers we have to offer are at a set pace given.

In this question Don noted that Ra was speaking even more slowly than usual and asked Ra why. Apparently Carla was somewhat depleted in physical energies as usual, but even more so in this session, due to the constant press of physical pain. And the “considerable store of available energy” was very likely the result of an energy transfer between us from the night before. In 78.38, Ra suggested that sexual energy transfers were helpful in lengthening the time that Ra could use the instrument in a session:

 Questioner: I would like to ask the reason for this session having been longer than most previous sessions, and also if there is anything we can do to make the instrument more comfortable or improve the contact?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument was given far more than the, shall we say, usual amount of transferred energy. There is a limit to the amount of energy of this type which may with safety be used when the instrument is itself without physical reserves. This is inevitably due to the various distortions such as we mentioned previously in this working having to do with growing dorsal discomfort.

Today was a Sabbath Day of Rest in which I did more reading of the Law of One, and I enjoyed my meditations for a bit longer than usual. I also did some work on a talk that I will be giving at some point next year to a group in Virginia via Zoom. I made my usual errand run at lunch time to pick up cat food at Feeder’s Supply and more food at Kroger’s and Paul’s Fruit Market for me and my friend who will arrive tomorrow and be staying for the week.

I would also like to say that today is also the 37^th anniversary of the passing of Don Elkins, my great friend, mentor, and questioner for the Ra contact. Inner And Outer Weather

I am the spirit of the living Christ, the full consciousness of that love which is Jesus, and in that divine love I greet you.

Outer circumstances often do not seem appropriate to the inner feelings of those who awaken to the day. Perhaps the heart is heavy and the sky blue, or the soul full of cheer and the day weeping and chill. This is an expression of the divine inclusiveness of all apparent states of what you may call the weather within and without.

Just as the Earth needs both the sun and the rain, so the fertile soil of your soul needs both the gift of joy and the ordeal of difficulty. It is in the times of ordeal that the gifts planted within the sun, which have bloomed and flowered and been harvested, gain a new life, a new birth and a new learning for your consciousness, that you may bloom once again in love and know the gift of light ever better.

So let your hearts be peaceful in good weather and poor, in happy times and sad, seeing the cycles of experience and nourishment as excellent in their entirety and perfect in their working. Such is the justice of the Creator.

“Questioner: In the healing exercises, when you say “examine the sensations of the body,” do you mean those sensations available to the body via the five senses? Or in relation to the natural functions of the body such as touching, loving, sexual sharing, and company? Or are you speaking of something else altogether?

Ra: I am Ra. The questioner may perceive its body complex at this moment. It is experiencing sensations. Most of these sensations, or in this case nearly all of them, are transient and without interest. However, the body is the creature of the mind. Certain sensations carry importance due to the charge or power which is felt by the mind upon the experience of this sensation.

For instance, at this space/time nexus one sensation is carrying a powerful charge and may be examined. This is the sensation of what you call the distortion towards discomfort due to the cramped position of the body complex during this working. In balancing you would then explore this sensation. Why is this sensation powerful? Because it was chosen in order that the entity might be of service to others in energizing this contact.

Each sensation that leaves the aftertaste of meaning upon the mind, that leaves the taste within the memory, shall be examined. These are the sensations of which we speak.

May we answer any brief queries before we leave this instrument?”

Don asked this question for me, so when Ra refers to “the questioner” in their response they are talking about me as I was sitting, cross-legged on a pillow on the floor during the session. In that position I supervised the tape recorders and energized the contact with visualizations in my meditation for the duration of the session. When I first started meditating back in the early ‘70s, I adopted the habit of sitting cross-egged whether on the floor or in a chair. So I continued using this position for my meditation during the Ra contact. Some of the sessions lasted between an hour and an hour and a half and the discomfort increased towards the end of the sessions. So as an illustration of the type of bodily sensation that would need balancing Ra chose my “cramped position”. The reason that it would need balancing was because I chose this position to be of service during the Ra contact sessions and because it produced a significant amount of discomfort that “left an aftertaste of meaning upon the mind”. In 5.2, Ra gave the basic outline for how and why balancing our catalyst is important as a discipline of the personality:

To begin to master the concept of mental discipline it is necessary to examine the self. The polarity of your dimension must be internalized. Where you find patience within your mind you must consciously find the corresponding impatience and vice versa. Each thought that a being has, has in its turn an antithesis. The disciplines of the mind involve, first of all, identifying both those things of which you approve and those things of which you disapprove within yourself, and then balancing each and every positive and negative charge with its equal. The mind contains all things. Therefore, you must discover this completeness within yourself.

The second mental discipline is acceptance of the completeness within your consciousness. It is not for a being of polarity in the physical consciousness to pick and choose among attributes, thus building the roles that cause blockages and confusions in the already-distorted mind complex. Each acceptance smooths part of the many distortions that the faculty you call judgment engenders.

The third discipline of the mind is a repetition of the first but with the gaze outward towards the fellow entities that it meets. In each entity there exists completeness. Thus, the ability to understand each balance is necessary. When you view patience, you are responsible for mirroring in your mental understanding patience/impatience. When you view impatience, it is necessary for your mental configuration of understanding to be impatience/patience. We use this as a simple example. Most configurations of mind have many facets, and understanding of either self polarities, or what you would call other-self polarities, can and must be understood as subtle work.

So the reason that a bodily sensation would need to be balanced is not so much how strong the sensation is in the physical sense but the mental/emotional/spiritual reason for which the position and action of the body was chosen. So in the balancing exercise I would mentally re-create the discomfort of the cramped meditative position and blow it out of all proportion until it was hugely uncomfortably. Then I would allow the opposite sensation to form in my mind until it was as large in comfort, calm and accomplishment of the purpose for the position as was the discomfort that was being balanced. Finally, I would accept both distortions as ways that the Creator might know Itself, and then I would accept myself for having these distortions. In 104.2, Ra gave the pithy reason for blowing the original catalyst out of proportion:

It is the way of distortion that in order to balance a distortion one must accentuate it. 

In 42.4-.5, Ra gave the goal that is the end of all balancing:

Questioner: Would a perfectly balanced entity feel an emotional response when being attacked by the other-self?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. The response is love.

Questioner: In the illusion that we now experience it is difficult to maintain this response, especially if the entity’s attack results in physical pain, but I assume that this response should be maintained even through physical loss of life or extreme pain. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct and further is of a major, or principal, importance in understanding, shall we say, the principle of balance. Balance is not indifference but rather the observer not blinded by any feelings of separation but rather fully imbued with love.

This morning I returned to my neighbor’s yard and used my backpack blower to blow more leaves out of both the back yard and the front yard to keep the accumulation of leaves from slowing the growth of their newly-seeded yard. Since they live on a corner I was able to blow the leaves from their back yard onto the adjoining street and the leaves from their front yard onto the connecting street. Then I used my big mower to crunch the leaves into leaf dust which I then blew into the respective drainage ditches for each street.

My afternoon of work was shorter as the morning work took much longer than I had anticipated. My first job was to clean out the filters on the fish pond, but before I did that I needed to free two little birds, that looked like some kind of wren, from the netting on the front of the pond. That is the only side of the pond that does not have some small white rope weaving up and down on the netting so birds can see it and not get caught in the netting. I used scissors to cut the netting from around the birds and they were able to fly away in good shape. Then I put colored bungie cords on the netting on the front of the fish pond so birds will see it. The netting is to keep raccoons and grey heron from eating the fish in my pond. Then I cleaned the filters on the fish pond. My last job was to repair the door on my mailbox as it has recently come apart from the body of the box.

Offer Sorrow And Thanksgiving

I am the voice of unconditional love which speaks to the world in the name of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of that love.

How many of you, while aching within the heart, must move through the day attempting to manifest the plenty from which that heartache seems to detract? We focus today upon heartache, upon the sorrows of living.

Within your life, within all life that matures and moves forward, there is a balance of sorrow and joy. Allow a knowledge of the kingdom of the Father to touch that septic sorrow. See that pain as the true, sore ache and agony that it is and offer it to love for love’s nurturing, comforting care.

You who seek so diligently are not alone. The principles of love and light are with each at all times. Therefore we say to you, “Take your sorrow, your sadness, as well as your joys and offer them up in thanksgiving to the Father, for all things work together to create a balanced compassion within the faithful seeker.”

May you find that balance this day and every day. Open the self to the power of infinite and unconditional love. We are with each of you, but though we may knock upon the door of your consciousness we cannot open it. We cannot comfort or aid without the turning of the sorrowful spirit to the door and the welcoming in faith of that positive principle of love. Then over your threshold shall move peace and confidence and a balance to sorrow.

“Questioner: Let us assume that a bodily distortion occurs within a particular entity who then has a choice of seeking allopathic aid or experiencing the catalyst of the distortion and not seeking correction of the distortion. Can you comment on the two possibilities for this entity and his analysis of each path?

Ra: I am Ra. If the entity is polarized towards service to others, analysis properly proceeds along the lines of consideration of which path offers the most opportunity for service to others.

For the negatively polarized entity the antithesis is the case.

For the unpolarized entity the considerations are random and, most likely, in the direction of the distortion towards comfort.”

In this question Don is continuing to investigate the value and effect of a person seeking healing when viewed from the standpoint of diseases representing lessons that have not been learned by the mind and have been given to the body so that the mind will notice them and use their catalyst. So to seek healing or not to seek healing and why are the questions. In 61.7, Ra gave the general principle of how catalyst not used by the mind is given to the body, and Ra also gave the three of us as specific examples of this process:

Questioner: Second question: could you give an example of how feelings affect portions of the body and the sensations of the body?

Ra: I am Ra. It is nearly impossible to speak generally of these mechanisms, for each entity of proper seniority has its own programming. Of the less aware entities we may say that the connection will often seem random as the higher self continues producing catalyst until a bias occurs. In each programmed individual the sensitivities are far more active, and, as we have said, that catalyst not used fully by the mind and spirit is given to the body.

Thus you may see in this entity the numbing of the arms and the hands signifying this entity’s failure to surrender to the loss of control over the life. Thus, this drama is enacted in the physical-distortion complex.

In the questioner we may see the desire not to be carrying the load it carries given as physical manifestation of the soreness of those muscles for carrying used. That which is truly needed to be carried is a pre-incarnative responsibility which seems highly inconvenient.

In the case of the scribe we see a weariness and numbness of feelings ensuing from lack of using catalyst designed to sensitize this entity to quite significant influxes of unfamiliar distortion complexes of the mental/emotional and spiritual level. As the numbness removes itself from the higher, or more responsive, complexes, the bodily-complex distortions will vanish. This is true also of the other examples.

We would note at this time that the totally efficient use of catalyst upon your plane is extremely rare.

Then Ra gave a response for the three general types of seekers on Earth: positive, negative, and unpolarized.  Ra suggest that a positively oriented entity would seek healing or not seek healing depending upon which alternative would provide it with the greater path of being of service to others. Perhaps the life can be extended and abilities to serve others increased by seeking healing. Perhaps not seeking healing and instead using the catalyst of the disease or distortion to learn more about the evolution of mind, body, and spirit and sharing that knowledge with others would provide more service to others. In 66.33, Ra recapitulated the three groups of positive, unpolarized, and negative entities in their experience of physical distortions or disease:

Questioner: I am trying to understand the way that disease and bodily distortions are generated with respect to polarities, both positive and negative. It seems that they are generated in some way to create the split or polarization, that they have a function in creating the original polarization that occurs in third-density. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is not precisely correct. Distortions of the bodily or mental complex are those distortions found in beings which have need of experiences which aid in polarization. These polarizations may be those of entities which have already chosen the path or polarization to be followed.

It is more likely for positively oriented individuals to be experiencing distortions within the physical complex due to the lack of consuming interest in the self and the emphasis on service to others.

Moreover, in an unpolarized entity catalyst of the physical distortion nature will be generated at random. The hopeful result is, as you say, the original choice of polarity. Oftentimes this choice is not made, but the catalyst continues to be generated.

In the negatively oriented individual the physical body is likely to be more carefully tended and the mind disciplined against physical distortions.

In 73.19, Ra also mentioned when bodily healing of disease does not occur how one may look at that situation:

Questioner: I’ll make a general statement which you can correct. The way I see the overall picture of healer and patient is that the one to be healed has, because of a blockage in one of the energy centers or more—but we will just consider one particular problem—because of this energy center blockage, the upward spiraling light that creates one of the seven bodies has been blocked from the maintenance of that body, and this has resulted in a distortion from the perfection of that body that we call disease, or a bodily anomaly, which is other than perfect.

The healer, having suitably configured its energy centers, is able to channel light, the downward pouring light, through its properly configured energy situation to the one to be healed. If the one to be healed has the mental configuration of acceptance of this light, the light then enters the physical complex and re-configures the distortion that was created by the original blockage. I am sure that I have made some mistakes in that. Would you please correct them?

Ra: I am Ra. Your mistakes were small. We would not, at this time, attempt a great deal of refinement of that statement as there is preliminary material which will undoubtedly come forward. We may say that there are various forms of healing. In many, only the energy of the adept is used. In the exercise of fire some physical complex energy is also channeled.

We might note further that when the one wishing to be healed, though sincere, remains unhealed, as you call this distortion, you may consider pre-incarnative choices; and your more helpful aid to such an entity may be the suggestion that it meditate upon the affirmative uses of whatever limitations it might experience. We would also note that in these cases the indigo-ray workings are often of aid.

Other than these notes we do not wish to further comment upon your statement at this working.

Ra suggested that the negatively oriented entity would determine to seek healing or not according to which path would allow it greater chances to separate itself from and control others. If healing would give the negative entity an extended life to gain such control then healing would be sought. If the negative entity could keep the distorted condition and use it to gain support or money or power from followers then the healing would not be sought. In 54.22, Ra gave more specific information about how negatively oriented entities utilize health or the lack of it:

Questioner: Would a negatively oriented entity do anything like this? Could you give me an example?

Ra: I am Ra. A negatively oriented individual mind/body/spirit complex will ordinarily program for wealth, ease of existence, and the utmost opportunity for power. Thus many negative entities burst with the physical-complex distortion you call health.

However, a negatively oriented entity may choose a painful condition in order to improve the distortion toward the so-called negative emotive mentations such as anger, hatred, and frustration. Such an entity may use an entire incarnative experience honing a blunt edge of hatred, or anger, so that it may polarize more towards the negative, or separated, pole.”

Then Ra said that the unpolarized entity would not really think in terms of being of service or being served but in a more random fashion seek whatever path provided the most comfort. In each case the exercise of free will is of most importance, especially in the sense of polarizing in one direction or the other. In 20.17, Ra described another problem of the unpolarized entity:

Questioner: I’m assuming at the start of one of these cycles there could have been either a positive polarization that would generally occur over the 25,000 years or a negative polarization. Is the reason for the negative polarization and the shortening of the cycle the influx of entities from Mars who had already polarized somewhat negatively?

Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect. There was not a strong negative polarization due to this influx. The lessening of the life span was due primarily to the lack of the building up of positive orientation. When there is no progress, those conditions which grant progress are gradually lost. This is one of the difficulties of remaining unpolarized. The chances, shall we say, of progress become steadily less.

This morning I used my backpack blower to blow the leaves in the back yard into areas in which I could use my big mower to crunch the leaves into dust and fertilizer for the grass. I also blew some of my neighbor’s leaves into my yard to crunch as well as they had asked me to get as many leaves off of their new grass as possible while they are gone. In the afternoon I did my usual weight lifting, speed walk, and vacuuming of the house. We were not able to have our channeling session Wednesday evening because Austin got a flat tire on his car, so he, Kathy, and I are planning to have that channel session this evening.

The Life Lived In Grace

I am the spirit of Jesus the Christ. Your Lord and Savior is my very essence.

We would speak to you most fervently of the eternally abiding nature of all that you call true knowledge. We who greet you in the consciousness of Christ realize that you who seek the consciousness of Christ yearn for there to be information on certain subjects in order that you may learn and that those about you may gain in understanding. And yet we assure you that all information and understanding whatsoever is invariably and securely within your grasp and awaiting your accurate reach.

You who seek the consciousness of love need to seek, therefore, not for knowledge but for a life lived in grace. For it is the nature of your life, your thoughts, your actions and your intentions that will avail to you all the information, wisdom and learning that you could ever wish to acquire.

Information which involves the seeking of the consciousness which is Christ must always partake not in what you think and what you may understand of the mind, but in who you are entirely.

Seek always, therefore, to be more and more a creature surrendered to love and guided by the highest and best which you may see in any situation. Then the understandings will walk to you and open themselves before your inner eye in the silence of the consciousness of love. Amen.
