I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 63.1:

“Questioner: Could you give me an indication of the condition of the instrument?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument’s vital energies are at the distortion which is normal for this mind/body/spirit complex. The body complex is distorted due to psychic attack in the area of the kidneys and urinary tract. There is also distortion continuing due to the distortion called arthritis.

You may expect this psychic attack to be constant, as this instrument has been under observation by negatively oriented force for some time.”

As usual, Don’s first question for this session was to ask Ra about Carla’s condition. Ra’s report was mixed, saying first that Carla’s vital energies were now normal for her. That was an improvement over the previous couple of sessions where her vital energies were low. But Ra said that her physical body was still suffering the aftereffects of the psychic greeting of her kidneys which occurred in the previous session when we made an opening in our Circle of One ritual by misspeaking one of the words in the ritual. In 62.3-6, Ra described the effect that the psychic greeting had on Carla’s kidneys:

Questioner: Was the attack successful in creating any further distortion of the instrument’s physical complex?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.

Questioner: What is the nature of this distortion?

Ra: This thought-form sought to put an end to this instrument’s incarnation by working with the renal distortions which—although corrected upon time/space—are vulnerable to one which knows the way to separate time/space molding and space/time distortions which are being unmolded, vulnerable as before the, shall we say, healing.

Questioner: What detrimental effect has been done?

Ra: I am Ra. There will be some discomfort. However, we were fortunate in that this instrument was very open to us and well-tuned. Had we not been able to reach this instrument and instruct you, the instrument’s physical vehicle would soon be unviable.

Questioner: Will there be any lasting effect from this attack as far as the instrument’s physical vehicle is concerned?

Ra: I am Ra. This is difficult to say. We are of the opinion that no lasting harm, or distortion, will occur.

The healer was strong, and the bonds taking effect in the remolding of these renal distortions were effective.

It is at this point a question of two forms of the leavings of what you may call a spell or a magic working—the healer’s distortions versus the attempt at Orion distortions: the healer’s distortions full of love, the Orion distortions also pure in separation. It seems that all is well except for some possible discomfort which shall be attended if persistent.

In 1978, Carla and Don went to Mexico City to have Carla’s kidneys worked on by the healer known as Pachita, as Ra mentioned in 78.6:

Questioner: What was the experience that caused the healing of the time/space kidney?

Ra: I am Ra. This experience was the healing of self by self with the catalyst of the spiritual healer whom you call Pachita.

Then Ra said that Carla’s arthritis was continuing to have its negative effect on her body, which was usually a result of Carla’s exceeding the physical limits of her body. Ra completed their answer by saying that the Orion group would be constantly looking for targets of opportunity to energize any distortion that her body might experience. In 72.17, Ra gave the general outline that the Orion group used in this process:

The entity of Orion pierces the same violet ray and moves to two places to attempt most of its non-physical opportunities. It activates the green-ray energy center while further blocking indigo-ray energy center. This combination causes confusion in the instrument and subsequent over-activity in unwise proportions in physical complex workings. It simply seeks out the distortions pre-incarnatively programmed and developed in incarnative state.

As a result of this type of psychic greeting the Orion entity activated Carla’s green-ray energy center and, at the same time, intensified Carla’s desire to be of service to others. As the Orion entity further blocked Carla’s indigo-ray energy center they intensified Carla’s feeling of unworthiness. These two energy centers being intensified at the same time made Carla feel like she needed to work her body even more than usual in order to be of service to others and, thereby, feel more worthy.  But all this extra work took its toll on Carla’s body and produced a great deal of pain. In 25.1, the Orion entity utilized the same procedure to drain Carla’s body of energy during her LSD experience:

The only remaining distortion available, since this entity would not detune and would not cease sharing love universally under this chemical substance, was simply to drain this entity of as much energy as possible. This entity has a strong distortion towards busyness which it has been attempting to overcome for some time, realizing it not to be the appropriate attitude for this work. In this particular area the ingestion of this substance did indeed, shall we say, cause distortions away from viability due to the busyness and the lack of desire to rest; this instrument staying alert for much longer than appropriate. Thus much vital energy was lost, making this instrument unusually susceptible to infections such as it now experiences.

By the end of her incarnation Carla had finally balanced the indigo-ray energy center and gained that feeling of worthiness that was the pre-incarnative purpose of the dimmer indigo ray. She had balanced the giving of love without expectation of return that she accomplished as a child with the ability to accept the love offerings of others when she was bed-bound, for the last four years of her life, by the lumbar surgical wound that would not heal.

This morning I was once again a guest on Rafa Martinelli’s podcast. We spent about an hour talking about the higher self and how it helps us program pre-incarnative lessons and then serves as one of many guides during the incarnation. We talked about using catalyst to grow spiritually and how much of what we learn in our third-density incarnations is tinged with some kind of trauma. We also talked about how humanity on Earth could help to heal the poverty, suffering, diseases, and homelessness of so many on Earth by working together to give of time, talents, money and love for those in need. We always have very substantial conversations together, and I would imagine that we will do so periodically.

This afternoon I went outside and went around the yard picking up many small, dead tree limbs that blew down yesterday during the periodic rain and constant wind storms. Then I used my trimmer to trim the weeds back on the Ruins Mound. My last job of the day was to take the 5 gallons of gas that I bought a couple of days ago and use about half of it to mix in with 2-cycle engine oil for my trimmer, backpack blower, and hedge clippers. I put the rest in my big mower.

Terror And Change

I am the wind and fire of spirit and I greet you in the full consciousness of the love of Jesus the Christ.

Terror and change sweep across the human scene day after day and year after year. To the eye of the keen observer it is apparent that the forces called Apocalypse move ever within the divine stew of Earth and Heaven. Each moment, crises of the life and death of the body, mind and spirit are marching in relentless step. And the tender consciousness filled with the spirit of love and reconciliation aches and yearns to heal the ever-flowing waters polluted by negativity.

Turn away from the human scene, seekers of love and service, and gaze steadily upon the inner desire to know and serve the Lord of all. No one can pray for every hurtful thing which meets the awareness, for sins and errors are numberless. Yet in the turning to silent tabernacling with the highest are all things brought into the environs of love and peace within the consciousness. Thus pray not for things, not for results, but for the presence of Christ which will then heal all things.

“Questioner: Then as the fourth-density vibrations come in, this means that the planet can support entities of fourth-density core vibration. Will the planet then still be first-density core vibration, and will there be second-density entities on it with second-density vibrations, and will there be third-density entities with third-density vibrations?

Ra: I am Ra. This will be the last full query of this working. There is energy, but the distortions of the instrument suggest to us it would be well to shorten this working, with your permission.

Questioner: Yes.

Ra: You must see the Earth, as you call it, as being seven Earths. There is red, orange, yellow, and there will soon be a completed green-color vibratory locus for fourth-density entities which they will call Earth. During the fourth-density experience, due to the lack of development of fourth-density entities, the third-density planetary sphere is not useful for habitation since the early fourth-density entity will not know, precisely, how to maintain the illusion that fourth density cannot be seen or determined from any instrumentation available to any third density.

Thus in fourth density the red, orange, and green energy nexi of your planet will be activated while the yellow is in potentiation, along with the blue and the indigo.

May we ask at this time if there be any brief queries?”

In this question Don asked Ra if, as Earth moved into the fourth-density vibration, there would still be a first, second, and third density level of vibrations that would exist alongside the fourth-density vibrations.  Ra answered by saying that as planet Earth moved into the fourth density, and its population was harvested, the third density will go into a period of inactivation. This period of inactivation would give the new fourth-density population time to learn how to shield themselves from being able to be seen by third-density entities. This shielding of fourth-density and above from third density is necessary to preserve the free will of third-density entities as they travel their spiritual paths. If third-density entities were obviously aware of higher density entities in their midst it would bias their thinking greatly towards how they would see their reality and remove the chance to make free will decisions that could exclude the possibility of higher densities. The exercise of free will must also include the chance that people will make incorrect choices and then be able to learn from those choices. In 10.12, Ra illustrated the importance of the Free Will distortion for third density:

Questioner: Then although many entities are not aware of this, what they really desire is to accelerate their growth, and it is their job to discover this while incarnate. Is it correct that they can accelerate their growth much more while incarnate in third density than in between incarnations of this density?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. We shall attempt to speak upon this concept.

The Law of One has, as one of its primal distortions, the Free Will distortion. Thus each entity is free to accept, reject, or ignore the mind/body/spirit complexes about it and ignore the creation itself. There are many among your social memory complex-distortion who, at this time/space, engage daily, as you would put it, in the working upon the Law of One in one of its primal distortions; that is, the Ways of Love.

However, if this same entity—being biased from the depths of its mind/body/spirit complex towards love/light—were then to accept responsibility for each moment of the time/space accumulation of present moments available to it, such an entity can empower its progress in much the same way as we described the empowering of the call of your social complex-distortion to the Confederation.

After the new fourth-density entities are all able to shield themselves from third-density eyes then the third density would again be activated upon Earth and join the first, second, and fourth densities as active densities. Then only the fifth, sixth, and seventh densities would be inactive. That means that all the plants and animals of second density would be active throughout this whole process. In 13.20, Ra said the higher densities were freely choosing not to be visible to third density:

Questioner: Is there any physical difference between first and second density? For instance, if I could see a second-density planet and a first-density planet side by side, in my present condition, could I see both of them? Would they be both visible?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. All of the octave of your densities would be clearly visible were not the fourth through the seventh freely choosing not to be visible.

In 63.8, Ra talks about the changeover to the green ray of fourth density and when the yellow ray of third density would be activated again after Earth has been in the fourth density for a period of time:

Questioner: From last session, I would like to continue with a few questions about the fact that in fourth density, red, orange, and green energies will be activated; yellow, blue, etc., being in potentiation. Right now you say we have green energies activated. They have been activated for the last 45 years. I am wondering about the transition through this period, so that the green is totally activated, and the yellow is in potentiation. What will we lose as the yellow goes from activation into potentiation, and what will we gain as the green comes into total activation, and what is that process?

Ra: I am Ra. It is misleading to speak of gains and losses when dealing with the subject of the cycle’s ending and the green-ray cycle beginning upon your sphere. It is to be kept in the forefront of the faculties of intelligence that there is One Creation in which there is no loss. There are progressive cycles for experiential use by entities. We may now address your query.

As the green-ray cycle or the density of love and understanding begins to take shape the yellow-ray plane or Earth, which you now enjoy in your dance, will cease to be inhabited for some period of your space/time as the space/time necessary for fourth-density entities to learn their ability to shield their density from that of third is learned. After this period there will come a time when third density may again cycle on the yellow-ray sphere.

Meanwhile there is another sphere, congruent to a great extent with yellow ray, forming. This fourth-density sphere coexists with first, second, and third. It is of a denser nature due to the rotational core atomic aspects of its material. We have discussed this subject with you.

The fourth-density entities which incarnate at this space/time are fourth density, in the view of experience, but are incarnating in less dense vehicles due to desire to experience and aid in the birth of fourth density upon this plane.

You may note that fourth-density entities have a great abundance of compassion.

This afternoon the weather turned cooler, windy, and had intermittent rain, so I decided to stay inside and do some work sorting out some essays that a friend of mine has done regarding the Law of One. He hopes to get them organized into a book one day, and I have offered to help him do that. However, I did my weight-lifting and speed walk, so I did get some good exercise.

Remain Still And Receptive

I am the spirit of the full consciousness of love. I greet you in the name of Jesus the Christ, the great bearer and expression of the full consciousness of love, which is the Logos which guides and governs the development of all things and which is also the end and purpose of all things.

I ask you this day to sit quietly long enough to experience the divine peace and the life-giving love that is everywhere in the atmosphere around you. It comes to you in the song of birds, the whistling of the wind, the rays of the sun and the gentle rhythms of household and nature.

Remain still and receptive until your cup of love is full, full to overflowing. Then may you become a leaven for those who see not love, by smile and word expressing love and peace. Then may you become a servant of love.

“Questioner: Is there something that the instrument could do or we could do for the instrument to eliminate the problem she has as she continually experiences the cold feeling of these attacks?

Ra: I am Ra. Yes.

Questioner: Would you tell me what we could do?

Ra: I am Ra. You could cease in your attempts to be channels for the love and the light of the One Infinite Creator.

Questioner: Have I missed anything now that we can do at all to aid the instrument during, before, or after a session, or at any time?

Ra: I am Ra. The love and devotion of this group misses nothing. Be at peace. There is some toll for this work. This instrument embraces this, or we could not speak.

Rest, then, in that peace and love, and do as you will, as you wish, as you feel. Let there be an end to worry when this is accomplished. The great healer of distortions is love.”

After we discovered that it was now a fifth-density negative entity who was offering the psychic greetings to us, Don set about asking Ra what we could do to lessen the effects of the greetings. Carla was the focus of the greetings because of her pre-incarnative choices regarding a weak physical vehicle due to arthritis being used to focus her energies inwardly. She would be aware that a greeting was in progress as the first sign would be a cold sensation that would begin draining her energies. In 67.7, Ra noted how Carla was the most likely target for psychic greetings because of her pre-incarnative choices:

In the case of this particular group, each was given a full range of temptations to cease being of service to each other and to the One Infinite Creator. Each entity declined these choices and, instead, continued with no significant deviations from the desire for a purely other-self service orientation.

At this point one of the fifth-density entities over-seeing such detuning processes determined that it would be necessary to terminate the group by what you might call magical means, as you understand ritual magic. We have previously discussed the potential for the removal of one of this group by such attack and have noted that, by far, the most vulnerable is the instrument due to its pre-incarnative physical-complex distortions.

Ra said that the quickest way to reduce the psychic greetings would be to cease being channels for the love and the light of the One Infinite Creator. Since that was not an option we went on to Plan B. That plan involved the acceptance of the fact that there was some toll or cost to be paid for the service that we wished to offer others. Most of this cost fell upon Carla which was understandable since she served as the instrument through which those of Ra spoke. Ra said that Carla accepted this situation, and that actually made it possible for those of Ra to use her as an instrument. When we asked Ra the best way to deal with such psychic greetings they suggested a kind of ritual for us to perform. In our ritual of protection we would send love and light to our negative friends and then surround ourselves with a shield of love and light as well as Ra recommended in 44.10:

 Questioner: This is very revealing to us. Thank you.

Each of us gets the signals and dreams. I have been aware of clairaudient communication at least once in waking up. Can you suggest a method whereby we might, shall I say, nullify the effect of the influence that we don’t want from a negative source?

Ra: I am Ra. There are various methods. We shall offer the most available or simple. To share the difficult contact with the other-selves associated with this working and to meditate in love for these senders of images and light for self and other-selves is the most available means of nullifying the effects of such occurrences. To downgrade these experiences by the use of intellect or the disciplines of will is to invite the prolonging of the effects. Far better, then, to share in trust such experiences and join hearts and souls in love and light with compassion for the sender and armor for the self.

Then Ra simply recommended that we should then rest our worries and be at peace. In this atmosphere we could generate the greatest amount of love in our group, each for the other, and especially for Carla. Ra said that the greatest healer of distortions is love, and love is also the greatest protector. They repeated this suggestion again in 106.20, where they stated it most beautifully:

Questioner: I am quite concerned about the instrument’s health at this point and must ask if there is anything I failed to consider with respect to the health of the instrument? Anything at all that we could do for her to improve her condition other than that which has already been recommended?

Ra: I am Ra. All is most whole-heartedly oriented for support here. Perceive the group as here: a location in time/space. Within this true home, keep the light touch. Laugh together, and find joy in and with each other. All else is most fully accomplished or planned for accomplishment.

Today was a Sabbath Day of Rest, and by mid-morning I actually decided to take a nap. After half an hour’s sleep I awoke feeling quite refreshed. I decided to read some of a friend’s book regarding the Law of One and was most impressed with his work. After lunch I made my usual errand run and stopped in at Feeder’s Supply to buy some food for the kitties. After that I dropped off some sandals in a donation box beside the Kroger’s grocery store. I bought them three years ago to wear on my trip to New Zealand and had tried to use them for working in the yard, but they were too easy to get wet or get gravel stuck in them. Then I stopped in Kroger’s to buy some treats for a friend who now lives in a care home. In the afternoon I emailed a couple of friends that I have recently been in communication with.

A Lamp Set On A Hill

I am the spirit of Jesus the Christ. I speak to you in the flow of the consciousness of divine love.

When travail is on the agenda for the present moment and the present day, when there is an hour of need that you, with human eyes, gaze upon and know not what to do, then is the time to visualize within yourselves the light which makes visible each dark portion of the day. For if the mind has fled to the light and stands trustingly within its scope and power, the mind then becomes girded with that light and is full of love.

And if the human processes of doubt and excessive reaction alike are disregarded, each pilgrim may, then, become—in the present moment, in the present hour, in the present day—a lamp set upon a hill to illumine that dark need.

For within each exigency lie the seeds of harmony and peace. If you feel broken in this day, may you turn and ask to be made whole by the spirit of the love of Jesus the Christ.

“Questioner: Isn’t this unusual that a fifth-density then would bother to do this rather than sending a fourth-density servant, shall I say?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. Nearly all positive channels and groups may be lessened in their positivity, or rendered quite useless, by what we may call the temptations offered by the fourth-density negative thought-forms. They may suggest many distortions towards specific information, towards the aggrandizement of the self, towards the flowering of the organization in some political, social, or fiscal way.

These distortions remove the focus from the One Infinite Source of love and light, of which we are all messengers, humble and knowing that we, of ourselves, are but the tiniest portion of the Creator, a small part of a magnificent entirety of infinite intelligence.”

Most of this session was devoted to the concept of psychic greetings due to our mispronouncing of a word when we walked the Circle of One to begin this session, and this error allowed an opening for a fifth-density negative being to perform a psychic greeting that attempted to end the Ra contact and Carla’s life. So in this question Don asked Ra if it was unusual that a fifth-density entity would bother to do this rather than sending a fourth-density negative minion to do it. Ra replied that this was correction. These temptations from the negatively-oriented entities are a natural outgrowth of creating light. All positive groups create light in their work of service to others. Negative entities will attempt to control that light by taking over the channel and offering the temptations that Ra spoke of. In 72.7, Ra gave the general principles that are in effect when positive entities begin the channeling process:

Questioner: We have here, I believe, a very important principle with respect to the Law of One. You have stated that the attitude of the individual is of paramount importance for the Orion entity to be able to be effective. Would you please explain how this mechanism works with respect to the Law of One, and why the attitude of the entity is of paramount importance, and why this allows for action by the Orion entity?

Ra: I am Ra. The Law of Confusion, or Free Will, is utterly paramount in the workings of the infinite creation. That which is intended has as much intensity of attraction to the polar opposite as the intensity of the intention or desire.

Thus those whose desires are shallow or transitory experience only ephemeral configurations of what might be called the magical circumstance. There is a turning point, a fulcrum which swings as a mind/body/spirit complex tunes its will to service. If this will and desire is for service to others, the corresponding polarity will be activated.

In the circumstance of this group there are three such wills acting as one with the instrument in the, shall we say, central position of fidelity to service. This is as it must be for the balance of the working and the continuance of the contact. Our vibratory complex is one-pointed in these workings also, and our will to serve is also of some degree of purity. This has created the attraction of the polar opposite which you experience.

We may note that such a configuration of free will, one-pointed in service to others, also has the potential for the alerting of a great mass of light strength. This positive light strength, however, operates also under free will, and must be invoked.

We could not speak to this and shall not guide you, for the nature of this contact is such that the purity of your free will must, above all things, be preserved. Thus you wend your way through experiences discovering those biases which may be helpful.

Most channels are aware of the necessity for tuning their instruments before attempting to channel so that they offer the highest and best of what they are in the channeling process. But so many do not know of the great necessity of challenging the contact each time channeling is undertaken. I think that one of Carla’s greatest contributions to the channeling process is the creating of the challenging of each contact, each time channeling is undertaken, in the name of what you as a channel live for and would gladly die for. For Carla this was Jesus Christ. For others it might be Christ consciousness, love, a certain saint, service to other, etc. It may take quite a while for a person to decide what those qualities are that are the center of its life. But it is an effort well undertaken because it is absolutely necessary that such a quality be determined by each channel and then used every time channeling occurs. In 89.7, Ra suggested that I determine some means of challenging contacts:

Questioner: Question two: Jim has also felt very strong conditioning which was unbidden while channeling Latwii recently and in his personal meditations. Would you also tell us what occurred in these cases?

Ra: I am Ra. The entity which has been your companion has a vibratory frequency—but a small amount lesser—than that of the social memory complex known as Latwii. Also, Latwii is the primary comforter of the Confederation for entities seeking at the vibratory complex level of the one known as Jim.

Therefore, this same companion has been attempting the contact of this instrument also. Although this instrument would have great difficulty in distinguishing the actual contact due to the lack of experience of your companion at this type of service, nevertheless, it is well that this instrument also choose some manner of the challenging of contacts.

Many channels feel that they can recognize their contacts without such challenges but that is not so. Negative entities are vey wise and clever and can mimic the feel of a positive contact and slowly take over a channel over a period of time. The positive contact can only offer hints of the necessity of challenging because the channeling process is a product of free will which must be preserved. When the hints are not perceived then another positive contact is lost. And that doesn’t have to happen. Carla gave us all a way to retain our positive contacts. We just have to use it. In 14.12-.13, Ra mentioned how this happened to George Van Tassel back in the 1950’s, before the concept of challenging contacts was known:

Questioner: George Van Tassel built a machine in our western desert called an “Integratron.” Will this machine work for that purpose of increasing the life span?

Ra: I am Ra. The machine is incomplete and will not function for the above-mentioned purpose.

Questioner: Who gave George the information on how to build it?

Ra: I am Ra. There were two contacts which gave the entity with vibratory sound complex, George, this information. One was of the Confederation. The second was of the Orion group. The Confederation was caused to find the distortion towards non-contact due to the alteration of the vibrational mind complex patterns of the one called George. Thus, the Orion group used this instrument; however, this instrument, though confused, was a mind/body/spirit complex devoted at the heart to service to others, so the, shall we say, worst that could be done was to discredit this source.

This was kind of an unusual Saturday because after I picked up the medications for my kitties this morning, I stopped by the Speedway Gas Station to get my 5 gal. can filled with regular gasoline for my mower and then filled the car will premium gas. Then I picked up some food for myself from Paul’s Fruit Market, an errand I usually do on Sunday’s, but I needed a couple of those food items for today’s meals. Then there was no outside work for the afternoon because I was on a special podcast with Jonathan Tong that he wanted to make to share some principles of the Ra Contact with the Facebook group that studies the Law of One. Trust, Hope And Light

I am the spirit of the living truth and I greet you in the full consciousness of that love in which all truth abides.

This instrument is quite certain that it does not have the necessary state of mind for the transmission of truth and love, as it is concerned about its friends, pondering their courses of action, caring too much for the susceptibilities of others to suffering and doubt.

Yet we say to all who care for others that the same spirit that sustains each in its own struggles is ready to sustain friends and loved ones in that same suffering; that suffering which is universal; that suffering which furnishes good fruit; that suffering through which each pilgrim finds the value of not suffering.

Thus we say to each who is concerned for others, “Turn the attention to the self. Look for trust. Look for hope. Look for light. And then rejoice in that light, hope and trust and know that all is truly well.”

In this consciousness your friends may bathe as in the warmth of the hothouse and your consciousness may then be a seal and protection for your friends. Consciousness itself, and not so-called good advice, is the primary gift of the spirit of love.

“Questioner: When the Orion entity who waits us, seeking the opportunity to attack, is with us here, can you describe his method of coming here, what he looks like, and how he waits? I know that this isn’t too important, but it might give me a little insight into what we are talking about.

Ra: I am Ra. Fifth-density entities are very light beings although they do have the type of physical vehicle which you understand. Fifth-density entities are very fair to look upon in your standard of beauty.

The thought is what is sent, for a fifth-density entity is likely to have mastered this technique or discipline. There is little or no means of perceiving such an entity, for unlike fourth-density negative entities the fifth-density entity walks with light feet.

This instrument was aware of extreme coldness in the past diurnal cycle and spent much more time than your normal attitudes would imagine to be appropriate in what seemed to each of you an extremely warm climate. This was not perceived by the instrument, but the drop in subjective temperature is a sign of presence of a negative, or non-positive, or draining entity.

This instrument did mention a feeling of discomfort but was nourished by this group and was able to dismiss it. Had it not been for a random mishap, all would have been well, for you have learned to live in love and light and do not neglect to remember the One Infinite Creator.”

At the beginning of this session our Orion friend made an attempt to end Carla’s life by moving through the opening created by a mis-pronounced word in our walking of the Circle of One. For the rest of this session Don questioned Ra about how such psychic greetings could be accomplished, the nature of this entity who wanted to end the Ra contact, how we could be more careful in the future, and how this whole greeting was possible. In 62.7, Ra was more specific as to how we could be more careful in the future:

We might suggest in the, shall we say, future, as you measure space/time, as you begin a working be aware that this instrument is likely being watched for any opportunity. Thus if the circle is walked with some imperfection it is well to immediately repeat. The expelling of breath is also appropriate, always to the left.

In this question Don asked Ra what this entity looked like and how it got to our location. Ra began their answer by saying that fifth-density negative beings are “very fair to look upon in your standard of beauty.” In 86.22, Ra mentioned how this fairness of form is used by the negative entities:

There are those entities upon the negative path which take great care in the preservation of the distortion your peoples perceive as fairness/ugliness. This fairness of form is, of course, then used in order to manipulate other-selves.

Then Ra described how our Orion friend would travel to our location by sending the thought which would be nearly impossible for us to perceive as it traveled with “light feet.” However, Carla was able to perceive an “extreme coldness” in the day preceding this session and spent a good deal of time soaking up the July sun in our lounger in the back yard. She also felt uncomfortable in the mental sense, and apparently this is a sign of the presence of negative, or energy-draining entities. In 67.15, Ra shared the general principle that allowed our negative friend to travel to our location:

Questioner: Then am I correct in assuming this entity configures the light into symbology, that is what we would call a physical presence? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect. The light is used to create a sufficient purity of environment for the entity to place its consciousness in a carefully created light vehicle which then uses the tools of light to do its working. The will and presence are those of the entity doing the working.

Ra continued their answer by saying that if the random mis-pronunciation of a word used in walking the Circle of One hadn’t happened that all would have been well. Ra alluded to our harmony by saying that we had learned to live in love and light and remembered the One Creator on a daily basis. Ra always mentioned how our harmony supported the Ra contact and that love was one of our greatest protections. Ra said this clearly in 64.21:

As Always, love is the greatest protection.

And again in 6.5:

Continue in love and praise and thanksgiving to the Creator. Examine previous material. Love is the great protector.

This afternoon I decided that it was time to chop some firewood for my elderly neighbors across the street. Now that the weather is getting cooler they are beginning to have fires in their fireplace in the evenings. They haven’t had to buy any firewood for a while now since I have some blocks of firewood that came from some very large limbs breaking off of a huge oak tree that has limbs that hang over into my yard from my neighbor to the north of my yard. We had just had an ice storm, and there were limbs down everywhere.

That was a couple of years ago, so I cut these chunks of the big limbs into blocks about a foot long. I used a single blade axe to begin the splitting of the wood, but the wood was too large for one blow to split it. So, with the axe stuck a few inches into the block of wood, I used a sledge hammer to strike the blunt back of the axe blade and finished the split of the wood. I split a hefty load of these chunks and took them over to my neighbor’s house in my garden cart and stacked them under their carport, off to the side.

Guard Your Thoughts With Love

I am the spirit of all compassion, which speaks with the voice of Jesus the Christ to the needs of the world today. I greet my beloved brothers and sisters in spirit in the consciousness which is divine love.

You are surrounded by that love. Each cell of the body acknowledges and dwells within that love. All things are held in balance by divine love: planets in their courses, blood in the veins, the breath in the body.

All that is left without the confines of the perfect and perfectly understood love of Jesus the Christ is the free will of humankind. Therefore, your thoughts are not necessarily protected by the consciousness of love.

Allow your thoughts, therefore, to dwell with those things which are full of love: your own body, cell by cell; the creation about you, blade of grass by blade of grass. And love itself may come to comfort you as your consciousness prays to the consciousness of divine love.

May you be in prayer this day, for the Comforter is always with those who request it. In this surety and in this peace we leave you, with blessings, now and ever. Amen.

“Questioner: What is the objective—what does the, shall we say, the leader, the one at the very top of the pecking order in fifth-density Orion, have as an objective? I would like to understand his philosophy with respect to his objectives and plans for what we might call the future or his future?

Ra: I am Ra. This thinking will not be so strange to you. Therefore, we may speak through the densities as your planet has some negatively oriented action in sway at this space/time nexus.

The early fifth-density negative entity, if oriented towards maintaining cohesion as a social memory complex, may, in its free will, determine that the path to wisdom lies in the manipulation, in exquisite propriety, of all other-selves. It, then, by virtue of its abilities in wisdom, is able to be the leader of fourth-density beings which are upon the road to wisdom by exploring the dimensions of love of self and understanding of self. These fifth-density entities see the creation as that which shall be put in order.

Dealing with a plane such as this third density at this harvesting it will see the mechanism of the call more clearly and have much less distortion towards plunder, or manipulation by thoughts which are given to negatively oriented entities—although in allowing this to occur and sending less wise entities to do this work, any successes redound to the leaders.

The fifth density sees the difficulties posed by the light and in this way directs entities of this vibration to the seeking of targets of opportunity such as this one. If fourth-density temptations, shall we say, towards distortion of ego, etc., are not successful, the fifth-density entity then thinks in terms of the removal of light.”

After we discovered that the negative friend who monitored our Ra sessions and provided a wide assortment of psychic greetings, including attempting to end Carla’s incarnation, Don decided to investigate how this all worked. Ra said that the basic plan of negative entities is to control all other selves around them and thusly gain their power. When a planet like Earth approaches harvest into fourth density the negative friend of fifth density is aware of a call for negative wisdom as well as positive. It sends its fourth-density minions to give negative philosophy to negative entities and to offer temptations to those who are generating light in service to others. If, as in our case, the temptations are rejected then the fifth-density entity sets about putting out the light itself.

In 67.7, Ra gave a comprehensive summary of how this process works:

Questioner: I undoubtedly will ask several very uninformed and poor questions. However, I was trying to understand certain concepts having to do with the illusion, I shall say, of the polarization that seems to exist at certain density levels in the creation and how can the mechanism of interaction of consciousness— It is a very difficult subject for me and therefore I ask your forgiveness for my poor questions, but it seems to me that the fifth-density entity is attracted in some way to our group by the polarization of this group which acts, somehow, as a beacon to the entity. Am I correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is, in substance, correct, but the efforts of this entity are put forward only reluctantly. The usual attempts upon positively oriented entities, or groups of entities, are made, as we have said, by minions of the fifth-density Orion leaders; these are fourth-density. The normal gambit of such fourth-density attack is the tempting of the entity or group of entities away from total polarization towards service to others and toward the aggrandizement of self, or of social organizations with which the self identifies.

In the case of this particular group, each was given a full range of temptations to cease being of service to each other and to the One Infinite Creator. Each entity declined these choices and, instead, continued with no significant deviations from the desire for a purely other-self service orientation.

At this point one of the fifth-density entities over-seeing such detuning processes determined that it would be necessary to terminate the group by what you might call magical means, as you understand ritual magic. We have previously discussed the potential for the removal of one of this group by such attack and have noted that, by far, the most vulnerable is the instrument due to its pre-incarnative physical-complex distortions.

Failure to control those who produce the light in service to others reduces the polarity of the ones at the top of the pecking order. In 87.7, Ra described how fourth-density minions are willing slaves of the fifth-density leaders:

The relationship of such an entity to fourth-density negative entities is one of the more powerful and the less powerful. The negative path posits slavery of the less powerful as a means of learning the desire to serve the self to the extent that the will is brought to bear. It is in this way that polarity is increased in the negative sense. Thus fourth-density entities are willing slaves of such a fifth-density entity, there being no doubt whatsoever of the relative power of each.

The negative polarity sees the universe as that which needs to be put in a certain a controllable order that will allow the more powerful of the negative polarity to gain the power of all those entities below it in the pecking order. In this way those at the top benefit from the efforts of those below them although those lower in the pecking order increase their desire to gain as much power as possible so that they can eventually challenge the pecking order and rise in the ranks of those who have the most power. In 87.11, Ra described how those lower in the pecking order may attempt to rise higher in this pecking order:

Questioner: I’m sorry for getting confused on the question here and not asking it correctly. There is a philosophical point of central importance to me that I am trying to clear up here. It has to do with the fact that fourth-density negative seems to be aware of the First Distortion, and they are in a nonveiled condition. And they seem to use this knowledge of the First Distortion to maintain the situation that they maintain in their contacts with this planet.

I am trying to extract their ability to understand the mechanism of the First Distortion and the consequences of the veiling process and still remain in a mental configuration of separation on the negative path. I hope that I have made myself clear there. I have had a hard time asking this question.

Ra: I am Ra. The answer may still not satisfy the questioner. We ask that you pursue it until you are satisfied. The fourth-density negative entity has made the choice available to each at third-density harvest. It is aware of the full array of possible methods of viewing the universe of the One Creator, and it is convinced that the ignoring and non-use of the green-ray energy center will be the method most efficient in providing harvestability of fourth density. Its operations among those of third density which have not yet made this choice are designed to offer to each the opportunity to consider the self-serving polarity and its possible attractiveness.

Greetings in the love of Christ. I am the spirit of the consciousness of Christ in the vibration which comforts this child.

Can you consider yourself as one of the company of the faithful because you know that the means of eternal life is at hand? Can you rest in the glory of your future experience while dwelling in the present difficult times?

We find your hearts to be lax, for in your appreciation of the inevitability of salvation, you forget that the moment of salvation for any soul is that moment in which the soul may turn to its Creator and vibrate, “Credo. Credo,” with a whole and single heart.

Ra: I am Ra. This group, as all positive channels and supporting groups, is a greatly high priority with the Orion group. This instrument’s bodily distortions are its most easily unbound, or unloosed, distortion dissolving the mind/body/spirit complex if the Orion group is successful—this particular group having learned to be without serious chinks, may we say, in mind and spirit complex vibratory patterns. In other channels other chinks may be more in evidence.”

At the beginning of this session Ra asked us to re-walk the Circle of One around Carla as there had been an error in the speaking of one of the words of the ritual. Our friend of negative polarity had been waiting for such a target of opportunity to move through and attempt to put an end to Carla’s life and the Ra contact. So Don asked Ra how much importance the Orion group placed on eliminating our group’s effectiveness in being of service to others. Ra responded that any positively-oriented group that was seeking to be of service to others was in the high priority category for the Orion group to remove them from such service. Ra said that any existing weakness in the channel’s or group’s sincerity of service could be intensified until the group began to focus more on transient information and thus lose its ability to serve others. In 62.23, Ra gave more details about how fourth-density negatively-oriented entities attempted to detune positive channels and groups:

Nearly all positive channels and groups may be lessened in their positivity, or rendered quite useless, by what we may call the temptations offered by the fourth-density negative thought-forms. They may suggest many distortions towards specific information, towards the aggrandizement of the self, towards the flowering of the organization in some political, social, or fiscal way.

These distortions remove the focus from the One Infinite Source of love and light, of which we are all messengers, humble and knowing that we, of ourselves, are but the tiniest portion of the Creator, a small part of a magnificent entirety of infinite intelligence.

None of the three of us was interested in these temptations, so our fifth-density negative friend determined to take over the greetings itself. In our group Carla’s pre-incarnative choices to have a limited physical vehicle to keep her focused on inner work was the most promising existing chink in our armor. Thus Carla bore the brunt of most of the psychic greetings which ran the gamut of magnified arthritic pain, to the inability to breathe, to death of the body complex, to misplacement of her mind/body/spirit complex in negative time/space. But she was fearless and never hesitated for a moment to offer herself in service for the next Ra contact session. In 67.21, Ra gave an overview of how such psychic greetings gave the three of us a chance to grow spiritually and grow closer together as a result of psychic greetings;

Questioner: Then we experience in this seeming difficulty the, what I would call, effect of the wisdom of the First Distortion, and for that reason must fully accept the wisdom of that which we experience. This is my personal view. Is it congruent with Ra’s?

Ra: I am Ra. In our view we would perhaps go further in expressing appreciation of this opportunity. This is an intensive opportunity in that it is quite markèd in its effects, both actual and potential, and as it affects the instrument’s distortions towards pain and other difficulties, such as the dizziness, it enables the instrument to continuously choose to serve others and to serve the Creator.

Similarly it offers a continual opportunity for each in the group to express support under more distorted, or difficult, circumstances of the other-self experiencing the brunt, shall we say, of this attack, thus being able to demonstrate the love and light of the Infinite Creator; and, furthermore, choosing working by working to continue to serve as messengers for this information which we attempt to offer and to serve the Creator thereby.

Thus the opportunities are quite noticeable as well as the distortions caused by this circumstance.

This morning the fellow from Economy Aquatic Gardens came by and cleaned out my fish pond. He put the fish in small tanks of water taken from the fish pond and then pumped all of the water out of the pond. He used a power sprayer to get the last of the dirt/mud off the walls of the liner and the stones that the water lilies sit on. Then he began refilling the pond, and when it was about six inches deep he put the fish back in the pond and let me know that he was done. I kept an eye on the water level and turned the water off when the pond was full.

This afternoon I went outside and used my backpack blower to blow the leaves in the front and side yards into rows. Then I used my big mower set on 2 inches to crunch the leaves into dust. For the rest of this fall my major work will be working with the leaves that will continue to fall through the end of November. Tomorrow I will tackle the back yard.

Seek First The Kingdom Of Heaven

I am the Spirit, that you call Holy, of the consciousness of Christ in the vibration which comforts this instrument. Greetings in the love of Christ and the peace of His kingdom.

Do you think that the grace and consolation of the Holy Spirit will come to you in time of need if you but turn your mind in the direction of aid and succor? Children, although this be true, nevertheless, it would behoove you first to seek knowledge of the Father’s kingdom, not for any good it might seem to do for you or be to you but for the sake of love alone.

For as you enter more and more into the consciousness of that kingdom, so will the nearly silent voice of the spirit be made resonant and full by your changing awareness. It is written, “Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven and its righteousness and all things shall be added unto you.” These words are true and we recommend them to your consideration.

Questioner: Could you tell me what was wrong, or what caused the necessity for the re-walking of the circle and the purpose of the expelling of breath?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument was under specific psychic attack at the time of the beginning of the working. There was a slight irregularity in the words verbalized by your sound complex vibratory mechanisms in the protective walking of the circle. Into this opening came this entity and began to work upon the instrument, now in trance state, as you would call it. This instrument was being quite adversely affected in physical-complex distortions.

Thus the circle was properly walked. The breath of righteousness expelled the thought-form, and the circle again walked.

Questioner: What was the nature of the thought-form or its affiliation?

Ra: I am Ra. This thought-form was of Orion affiliation.

Questioner: Was the attack successful in creating any further distortion of the instrument’s physical complex?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.

Questioner: What is the nature of this distortion?

Ra: This thought-form sought to put an end to this instrument’s incarnation by working with the renal distortions which—although corrected upon time/space—are vulnerable to one which knows the way to separate time/space molding and space/time distortions which are being unmolded, vulnerable as before the, shall we say, healing.”

Don, Carla, and I were always under surveillance by our fifth-density friend of negative polarity This entity sought to stop the Ra contact by any means that presented itself as a target of opportunity. In this session there was an incorrectly pronounced word in our Circle of One ritual that Ra had given us in Session #2 as the means by which to begin our sessions with Ra. This mispronounced word created an opening into which our negative friend was able to move through and begin working in a magical sense to cause distortions in Carla’s kidneys that would eventually bring her incarnation to its end if we did not follow Ra’s instructions to re-walk the circle and use our breath to remove the negative entity. In 2.6, Ra gave us the Circle of One that we used each session to provide protection for our group during sessions with Ra. Don would read the question part, and I would read the answer:

The vibrations may well be purified by a simple turning to the Circle of One and the verbal vibration while doing so of the following dialogue:

Question: “What is the Law?”

Answer: “The Law is One.”

Question: “Why are we here?”

Answer: “We seek the Law of One.”

Question: “Why do we seek Ra?”

Answer: “Ra is an humble messenger of the Law of One.”

Both together: “Rejoice then, and purify this place in the Law of One. Let no thought-form enter the circle we have walked about this instrument, for the Law is One.”

In 1978, Don and Carla had traveled to Mexico City to see if a psychic healer there by the name of Pachita could help to heal various problems Carla had at the time. The principle problem was her kidneys which had failed when she was 13, and this caused her to have a Near Death Experience. Pachita was successful in this healing effort, but our friend of negative polarity was seeking to undo Pachita’s work in this session with Ra. In 78.6, Ra affirmed that Pachita had been successful in helping to heal Carla’s kidneys:

Questioner: What was the experience that caused the healing of the time/space kidney?

Ra: I am Ra. This experience was the healing of self by self with the catalyst of the spiritual healer whom you call Pachita.

When Ra became aware that our negative friend had made this entry through the opening in our circle, caused by the mispronounced word, Ra asked Don and me to re-walk the circle to close the opening. Then they asked that we blow our breath across Carla’s chest about 2 and a half feet above her chest from her right to her left. They called our breath the “breath of righteousness”, and its purpose was to actually blow our negative friend out of the circle. Then Ra asked that we re-walk the Circle of One again to provide the finishing touches on re-establishing the wall of light that protected Carla’s body, while she was out of it, and Ra was using it during the session to respond to Don’s questions. We have a channeling circle planned for this evening, and I thought it would be a nice welcoming touch for the group to have the living room enlivened by these plants which have had seven months of sun and rain to grow bigger and more beautiful.

Become Christ To The World

I am the spirit of the ineffable love of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

When this instrument challenged our presence we, as spirit, said simply, “We are the Christ.” This instrument was surprised. But the principle of love is active and powerful and that which is Christ is wrapped and bound by love ineffable.

Thus he who carries the spirit of Christ carries Christ, and as we are the very principle of this love, so are we Christ too. I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:

We come in the name of Love and open our hearts, our minds, and our souls to send love, light, and healing energies to Mother Earth as she brings forth a New Earth in fourth density. We ask that the infinite love, light, and healing energies of the One Infinite Creator heal the heart of each soul in pain on Earth tonight. I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 61.12:

“Questioner: Could you tell me why it is important for the appurtenances, and other things, to be so carefully aligned with respect to the instrument, and why just a small ruffle in the sheet by the instrument causes a problem with the reception of Ra?

Ra: I am Ra. We may attempt an explanation. This contact is narrow-band. The instrument is highly sensitive. Thus we have good entry into it and can use it to an increasingly satisfactory level.

However, the trance condition is, shall we say, not one which is without toll upon this instrument. Therefore, the area above the entrance into the physical complex of this instrument must be kept clear to avoid discomfort to the instrument, especially as it re-enters the body complex.

The appurtenances give to the instrument sensory input and mental visualization which aid in the trance beginning. The careful alignment of these is important for the energizing group in that it is a reminder to that support group that it is time for a working.

The ritualistic behaviors are triggers for many energies of the support group. You may have noticed more energy being used in workings as the number has increased due to the long-term, shall we say, effect of such ritualistic actions.

This would not aid another group as it was designed for this particular system of mind/body/spirit complexes and especially the instrument.

There is enough energy transferred for one more long query. We do not wish to deplete this instrument.”

In this question Don asked Ra why it was important for the appurtenances to be aligned in such a careful way and why a small ruffle a few inches from Carla’s head back in 43.0-.4 caused a problem in the reception of Ra:

Ra: I am Ra. I greet you in the love and in the light of the One Infinite Creator.

Before we communicate may we request the adjustment, without the touching of this instrument’s physical body complex, of the item which presses upon the instrument’s head. This is causing some interference with our contact.

Questioner: Is that the pillow or something else? Do you . . . do you speak of the pillow under the neck?

Ra: I am Ra. There is a line of interference crossing the crown of the head.

Questioner: Is it this? [Questioner finds a two-inch fold in the sheet three inches above the instrument’s head and lays it flat.] Is that it?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. Please increase the distance from the crown of the head.

Questioner: [Ruffles in the sheet are smoothed all along the length of the sheet next to the instrument’s head.] Is that satisfactory?

Ra: I am Ra. Yes.

Questioner: I am sorry that we failed to notice that.

Ra: We communicate now.

Ra began their answer by saying that there was a certain toll upon the instrument in using the trance state, and it was necessary to keep the area above her head clear to avoid discomfort, especially as she re-entered her body. They also said that another reason for keeping this area clear was that their contact with us was “narrow-band.” What I believe that Ra was referring to when they used the term, “narrow-band”, was two things. Firstly, the purpose of their contact was to share information on the philosophy of the evolution of the mind/body/spirit complex in the third density. They preferred not to be asked questions outside of this narrow focus which would be specific question or questions that were transient in nature. This type of questioning would detune the contact, and if we had persisted in asking these types of questions we would have lost the contact as Ra mentioned in 37.4:

It is quite precisely correct that the level and purity of this contact is dependent upon the level and purity of information sought. Thusly, the continued requests for specific information, from this particular source, is deleterious to the substance of your purpose. 

The other application of the term narrow-band concerns how Ra entered Carla’s chakra system in order to utilize her blue-ray of communication. They entered through a narrow point, or a small line, at the back of her head and penetrated her violet-ray energy center and then moved to the blue-ray energy center for the duration of the session as Ra mentioned in 72.17:

We of Ra approach this instrument in narrow-band contact through violet ray. Others might pierce down through this ray to any energy center. We, for instance, make great use of this instrument’s blue-ray energy center as we are attempting to communicate our distortion-understandings of the Law of One.

There were also two applications of “alignment” for the Bible, candle, incense, and chalice of water. In the first one, we needed to have these items well aligned with each other in order to give us the reminder that it was time for a working, so we could prepare to offer ourselves in service to others and in the aiding of Carla as she served as the instrument. These appurtenances gave Carla a feeling of support as she had been a member of the altar guild in Episcopal churches throughout her life and took part in dressing the altar with just such items. The appurtenances also aided her in the re-entry of her body as the sessions were completed as they comforted her basic nature and sensitivities. So the ruffle in the sheet above her head in the session that Don mentions needed to be laid flat to aid her re-entry. In 3.4, Ra described the purpose of each of the appurtenances:

The incense acts as energizer to the physical body of this instrument, signifying its humanity. This is, therefore, a necessity that the wafted smoke is perceived from the same relative angle as the instrument perceives the opened Bible, balanced by the lighted candle signify[ing] love/light and light/love and, therefore, give the mental and emotional, shall we call it, distortion complex of this instrument the sight of paradise and peace which it seeks. Thus energized from the lower to the higher, the instrument becomes balanced and does not grow fatigued.

The other application of “alignment” we discovered as we solved a code that Ra used to preserve our free will. At the end of each session Don would ask Ra if there was anything that we could do to aid the instrument or to improve the contact. If the questions we had asked during the session were well within the narrow band of Ra’s philosophical requirements for giving spiritually oriented information, Ra might say something like “The alignments are good.” When Ra would say something like “The candle is .2 degrees from perpendicularity”, we finally figured out that they were telling us our line of questioning needed to be refined to exclude transient information because it’ s almost impossible to make an adjustment of .2 of a degree on any of the appurtenances. The contact with Ra was totally based upon our free will in determining the questions, but they needed a way to let us know when we were off track that did not infringe on our free will. In 77.25, Ra made an obvious reference to this type of their commenting upon our line of questioning after we had figured out the code:

The physical appurtenance called the censer was just a degree off, this having no deeper meaning. We do ask, for reasons having to do with the physical comfort of the instrument, that you continue in your careful efforts at alignment. You are conscientious. All is well.

Ra also mentioned that the ritualistic behaviors that we went through as a means to contact them were becoming more effective and using more energy as time went on in much the same way that our use of the Banishing Ritual of the Lesser Pentagram to cleanse and protect the Ra room as Ra mentioned in 76.4:

Questioner: Has our use of the Banishing Ritual of the Lesser Pentagram been of any value, and what is its effect?

Ra: I am Ra. This group’s use of the Banishing Ritual of the Lesser Pentagram has been increasingly efficacious. Its effect is purification, cleansing, and protection of the place of working.

The efficacy of this ritual is only beginning to be, shall we say, at the lower limits of the truly magical. In doing the working, those aspiring to adepthood have done the equivalent of beginning the schoolwork, many grades ahead.

For the intelligent student this is not to be discouraged; rather to be encouraged is the homework, the reading, the writing, the arithmetic, as you might metaphorically call the elementary steps towards the study of being.

It is the being that informs the working, not the working that informs the being. Therefore, we may leave you to the work you have begun.

This afternoon I went outside and weeded the gardens around the fish pond, and then I weeded the little area beside the garage next to the fire pit. Combined with the weeding in the back yard last Saturday, this pretty much completes the weeding of the yard. My cat, Dan D. Lion, hung out in the general area where I was working and came by occasionally and flopped down on the ground so I would pet him.

Claim Your Birthright

Greetings in the love of Christ. I am of the principle of that consciousness which is Christhood, in the vibration which comforts this instrument.

Although it is well that you gaze searchingly on each face of Christ which you meet in your daily round of activities and experience, it is better for you to be inspired by these exaggerated delineations of the characteristics of love, turning from them to a truer expression of that love in Christ.

For to call your experiences by their true name is to bless them and own them, claiming them as part of your birthright. For you and they and all that is are not only created by God, but are of God, and to behold your likeness is far more blessed than all the careful judgments you may make, wise though those judgments may be.

The consciousness of Christ is the consciousness of love, that love which creates, Christ being the truest expression of that potent quality in your waking consciousness. Turn you, then, to that source of light and let love illumine all the facets of your life.

“Questioner: Would it be helpful to plot the cycles for the instrument and attempt to have these sessions at the most favorable points with respect to the cycle?

Ra: I am Ra. To that specific query we have no response.

It may be noted that the three in this triad bring in this energy pattern which is Ra. Thus each energy input of the triad is of note.

We may say that while these information systems are interesting they are in sway only insofar as the entity or entities involved have not made totally efficient use of catalyst, and, therefore, instead of accepting the, shall we say, negative or retrograde moments or periods without undue notice, have the distortion towards the retaining of these distortions in order to work out the unused catalyst.

It is to be noted that psychic attack continues upon this entity although it is only effective at this time in physical distortions towards discomfort.

We may suggest that it is always of some interest to observe the road map, both of the cycles and of the planetary and other cosmic influences, in that one may see certain wide roads or possibilities. However, we remind that this group is an unit.”

In the first couple of questions in this session Don and Ra were discussing ways to help Carla with her physical energy deficit. The concepts of biorhythms and retrograde states of her various cycles were mentioned. Ra also mentioned a new cycle which they called “the adept’s cycle of magic”. So in this question Don asked Ra if it would be helpful to Carla to plan our sessions with Ra around the most favorable point s in these cycles. Ra refused to answer that specific query, very likely because they saw it as an infringement upon our free will to answer it. They always felt that it should be our choice as to when to plan sessions with them, and it always was. In 20.45, and in 35.7, Ra gave examples of how they respected our free will choices:

Questioner: I intend in the next session to focus on the development of the positively oriented entities in the first 25,000 years. I know that you can’t make suggestions. But this seems to me to be the— I hope that I am going in the right path in investigating the entire development and influences in the history of our third density. Can you give me any comment on this at all?

Ra: I am Ra. The choices are yours according to your discernment.

I am Ra. I leave you in the love and the light of the One Infinite Creator. Go forth, therefore, rejoicing in the power and the peace of the One Creator. Adonai.

Questioner: Would it be of value for the reader to know this in your estimation?

Ra: I am Ra. You must shape your queries according to your discernment.

I think that the most important point that Ra made in their response to the consulting of biorhythms, or any kind of method to chart of our potential futures, was that we functioned as a group. This suggests that it would be best if we planned our sessions and made all related choices as a result of how each of us actually felt and then put the pieces of the puzzle together. Ra said that it took each of us to bring in their energies for Carla to channel. They said that “each energy input of the triad is of note” which I took to be true quite literally a well as symbolically and metaphysically. In 60.5, Ra made suggestions that we could consider in determining when to have Ra sessions:

Questioner: Will spreading the workings out over greater intervals of time so that we have more time between workings help?

Ra: I am Ra. This you have already done. It is not helpful to your group to become unbalanced by concern for one portion of the work above another. If this instrument is, in your judgment, capable, and if the support group is functioning well, if all is harmonious, and if the questions to be asked have been considered well, the working is well begun. To overly stress the condition of the instrument is as deleterious to the efficiency of this contact as the antithetical behavior was in your past.

I think that their second most important point was that depending upon biorhythms or astrological charts to see when to act is helpful only when the seeker hasn’t been able to successfully process its catalyst. Then you can look to the rhythms and charts to see what lessons you have yet to learn. I don’t think that any of us fell into the category of having made “totally efficient use of our catalyst.” But I think that each of us was enough aware of what our catalyst was that it was more efficient to just work with the catalyst the best way that we could and not try to finagle our way through our choices according to charts and bio-rhythms. In 82.3, Ra gave me some good advice in the use of catalyst as I was ignoring some important concepts in this process:

Questioner: Jim has a personal question which is not to be published. He asks, “It seems that my balancing work has shifted from more peripheral concerns such as patience/impatience, to learning to open myself in unconditional love, to accepting myself as whole and perfect, and then to accepting myself as the Creator. If this is a normal progression of focus for balancing, wouldn’t it be more efficient, once this is discovered, for a person to work on the acceptance of self as Creator rather than work peripherally on the secondary and tertiary results of not accepting the self?”

Ra: I am Ra. The term efficiency has misleading connotations. In the context of doing work in the disciplines of the personality, in order to be of more full efficiency in the central acceptance of the self, it is first quite necessary to know the distortions of the self which the entity is accepting. Each thought and action needs must then be scrutinized for the precise foundation of the distortions of any reactions. This process shall lead to the more central task of acceptance. However, the architrave must be in place before the structure is builded.

The last point that Ra made was that psychic greetings were still affecting Carla but only in regards to making her physical body more uncomfortable. By this time Carla had been able to keep enough of a perspective and sense of humor about the psychic greetings that there were no emotional or mental distortions that our friend of negative polarity could utilize to cause problems in those areas. In 57.1, Ra made note of this fact:

This instrument is under a most severe psychic attack. This instrument is bearing up well due to replenished vital energies and a distortion towards a sense of proportion which your peoples call a sense of humor.

Today was another Sabbath Day of Rest, and I certainly did take a rest from my usual outdoor work in the gardens. Instead I gave special time to writing on my special project, the nature of which I hope to be able to share with you in the near future. I also answered some emails from friends and talked to a couple of others friends on the phone who have been sick recently to see how they are doing. I made my usual errand run at noon, and my first stop today was at Walmart’s to pick up some household items and a couple of sweat shirts. My second stop was at Feeder’s Supply where I bought food for the cats. My last stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market where I bought some food for myself.

Signposts Of Joy

I am the spirit of that consciousness which is the Christ held sacred by you. We greet you in the love of Christ.

It is not only in good circumstances that the Comforter is available to those who seek inspiration but in those perceived as difficult as well. It is well to turn to the inspiration of godly things, eschewing attachment to the transient joys of the day in exchange for fuller and deeper understanding of the greater good and the spiritual essence of mundane happiness.

For happiness as well as sorrow is a state of mind peculiar to an illusion in which your consciousness is impinged upon by all of those distractions of the senses which please and cloy.

View pleasure, then, with the same eye with which you view pain, not disowning your senses but rather appreciating them as signposts of a deeper, spiritual joy.

May the peace of the consciousness of love be with you now and always. Amen.
