I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 61.1-.2:

“Ra: I am Ra. I greet you, my friends, in the love and in the light of the Infinite Creator. We communicate now.

Questioner: Could you give me an indication of the instrument’s condition?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument’s vital energies are improving. The physical-complex distortions are quite marked at this space/time, and there is a decrease in physical-complex energies.

Questioner: Is there anything in particular that the instrument could do to improve the physical condition?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument has two factors affecting its bodily distortions. This is in common with all those which, by seniority of vibration, have reached the green-ray level of vibratory consciousness complexes.

The first is the given instreamings which vary from cycle to cycle in predictable manner. In this particular entity the cyclical complexes at this space/time nexus are not favorable for the physical energy levels.

The second ramification of condition is that which we might call the degree of mental efficiency in use of catalyst provided for the learning of programmed lessons, in particular, and the lessons of love, in general.

This instrument, unlike some entities, has some further distortion due to the use of pre-incarnative conditions.”

As usual, Don began this session with the maintenance question regarding the condition of the instrument. Ra answered that even though Carla’s vital energies were improved her physical energy was decidedly low and continuing to drop. In 63.6, Ra defined vital energy:

Questioner: Could you give me a definition of vital energy?

Ra: I am Ra. Vital energy is the complex of energy levels of mind, body, and spirit. Unlike physical energy, it requires the integrated complexes vibrating in an useful manner.

By the way, I believe that what Ra meant when they said “vibrating in an useful manner” would be the energies of mind, body, and spirit used in a spiritual endeavor to be of service to others.

So Don asked how Carla could improve her physical energy situation. Ra’s answer was complex, and they laid a foundation for their answer by stating that, like other seekers who have incarnated by their seniority of vibration, Carla had been able to open her green-ray energy center. So because of these factors she was affected by the cosmic instreamings of energy at the time of this session, and these instreamings were of such a vibration that a person in Carla’s situation would find that her physical energy levels were in what could be called a retrograde condition for a certain period of time. I believe that Ra was talking about the cycle of the adept which we learned about in 64.10:

Questioner: In a previous session you mentioned the gateway of magic for the adept occurring in eighteen-day cycles. Could you expand on that information please?

Ra: I am Ra. The mind/body/spirit complex is born under a series of influences, both lunar, planetary, cosmic, and in some cases, karmic. The moment of the birthing into this illusion begins the cycles we have mentioned.

The spiritual, or adept’s, cycle is an eighteen-day cycle and operates with the qualities of the sine wave. Thus there are a few excellent days on the positive side of the curve, that being the first nine days of the cycle—precisely the fourth, the fifth, and the sixth—when workings are most appropriately undertaken, given that the entity is still without total conscious control of its mind/body/spirit distortion/reality.

The most interesting portion of this information, like that of each cycle, is the noting of the critical point wherein, passing from the ninth to the tenth and from the eighteenth to the first days, the adept will experience some difficulty, especially when there is a transition occurring in another cycle at the same time.

Ra continued their answer by suggesting that Carla had recent difficulty in the processing of catalyst that dealt with learning the lessons of love, both those that she specifically wished to learn and also the general lessons of love. I believe that what Ra was talking about here was Carla’s need to learn how to accept the love offerings of others in helping her do things that were physically painful for her to do. She didn’t like to put people out, shall I say, or to appear to be in pain and need help. Ra spoke to this point in 60.8:

Further, having learned to radiate acceptance and love without expecting return, this entity now must balance this by learning to accept the gifts of love and acceptance of others, which this instrument feels some discomfort in accepting. These two balancing workings will aid this entity in the release from the distortion called pain. The limitations are, to a great extent, fixed.

The more general lesson was related to Carla’s desire to be of service to others to the degree that she often would take on the role of the martyr and give of herself until she caused a great deal more pain in her arthritic joints than a more moderate approach to service would have created. In 96.2, Ra summarized this tendency to serve others that Carla always expressed:

This entity has an habitual attitude which is singular; that is, when there is some necessity for action the entity is accustomed to analyzing the catalyst in terms of service and determining a course.

And when Ra said that Carla had “further distortion due to the use of pre-incarnative condition” I believe that they were talking about her pre-incarnative choice to have arthritis in order to limit her ability to go out into the world and dissipate her physical energy in various social activities. Thus the arthritis would help her in focusing on her desire to live the inner spiritual life of meditation, contemplation, and prayer that would open the door for her to serve as a channel in service to the One Infinite Creator. Using what little physical energy she had for any purpose other than a spiritual working like the Ra contact would cause more pain in her arthritic joints. In 60.3, Ra gave more information about Carla’s pre-incarnative choices:

Questioner: Can you tell me the best approach for altering, to a more acceptable condition, the distortions that the instrument is experiencing?

Ra: I am Ra. There is some small amount of work which the instrument may do concerning its pre-incarnative decisions regarding service to the Infinite Creator in this experience. However, the decision to open, without reservation, to the offering of self when service is perceived is such a fundamental choice that it is not open to significant alteration, nor would we wish to interfere with the balancing process which is taking place with this particular entity.

The wisdom and compassion being so balanced by this recapitulation of fourth density is helpful to this particular mind/body/spirit complex. It is not an entity much given to quibbling with the purity with which it carries out that which it feels it is best to do. We may say this due to the instrument’s knowledge of itself, which is clear upon this point. However, this very discussion may give rise to a slightly less fully unstopped dedication to service in any one working so that the service may be continued over a greater period of your space/time.

This afternoon I went outside and began my work by picking up a great many small branches that blew down yesterday during our windy day of rain. And since we had an inch and a half of rain I decided to weed the back yard, especially the cross area and the astilbe garden which usually have more weeds than the rest of the yard. The wet ground allowed me to pull out weeds roots and all, even some such as violets that have a strong root system.

The Gates Of Your Heart

Greetings in the love of Christ. I am the spirit of the consciousness of love in the vibration which comforts this child.

You who understand so many things about your daily life and make so many connections between events so as to bring them into order, would find comfort in turning for a deeper understanding of events to the contemplation of that Thought which created you.

For even as you appreciate the gift of father and mother in offering the possibility of breathing and living incarnation, so even more may you appreciate the ultimate Creator of you and of all things.

Nor is it possible to contemplate the infinite order of the creation without assuming, finally, that unacceptable and difficult circumstances are, nevertheless, intentionally organized for your benefit.

Look, then, at the same situation which you have analyzed so well within your mind and open the gates of your heart, letting confidence and peace in the rightness of all that you see wash over you. And in that atmosphere the birth of the deeper understanding will aid the child of God in making the deeper sense of any circumstance.

“Questioner: There has been, for the past 30 years, a lot of information and a lot of confusion, and in fact, I would say the Law of Confusion has been [chuckles] working overtime, to make a small joke, in bringing information for spiritual catalysis to groups requesting it. And we know that both the positively and the negatively oriented social memory complexes have been adding to this information as they can. This has led to somewhat of a condition of apathy in a lot of cases with respect to the information by many who are truly seeking but have been thwarted by a condition of what I might call spiritual entropy in this information.

Can you comment on this and the mechanisms of alleviating these problems?

Ra: I am Ra. We can comment on this.

Questioner: Only if you deem it to be of importance I would request a comment. If you feel it unimportant we’ll skip it.

Ra: I am Ra. This information is significant, to some degree, as it bears upon our own mission at this time.

We of the Confederation are at the call of those upon your planet. If the call, though sincere, is fairly low in consciousness of the, shall we say, system whereby spiritual evolution may be precipitated, then we may only offer that information useful to that particular caller. This is the basic difficulty. Entities receive the basic information about the Original Thought and the means—that is, meditation and service to others—whereby this Original Thought may be obtained.

Please note that, as Confederation members, we are speaking for positively oriented entities. We believe the Orion group has precisely the same difficulty.

Once this basic information is received it is not put into practice in the heart and in the life experience but, instead, rattles about within the mind-complex distortions as would a building block which has lost its place and simply rolls from side to side uselessly, yet still the entity calls. Therefore, the same basic information is repeated. Ultimately the entity decides that it is weary of this repetitive information. However, if an entity puts into practice that which it is given, it will not find repetition except when needed.”

Over the nearly twenty years of channeling meditation meetings that Don had experienced prior to the beginning of the Ra contact he had noted literally hundreds of people who had begun coming to the meetings who would drop out after five, or ten, or twenty meetings. Usually the reason was because they wanted something more spectacular in the channeled messages. They wanted specific information as to when the next geophysical disaster was going to strike. They wanted information about their past lives. They wanted a shortcut to developing their psychic abilities. Continually hearing about the need to meditate and to seek to be of service to others lacked the sparkle to match their expectations. In 26.36, Ra dealt with this type of desire for specific information:

Questioner: Then I am assuming all of the UFO groups who were getting telepathic contact from the Confederation were, shall we say, high-priority targets for the Orion crusaders, and I would assume that a large percentage of them were, shall we say, had their information polluted then.

Can you tell me, do you have any idea what percentage of these groups were heavily polluted by the Orion information, and if any of them were able to remain purely a Confederation channel?

Ra: I am Ra. To give you this information would be to infringe upon the free will, or confusion, of some living. We can only ask each group to consider the relative effect of philosophy and your so-called specific information. It is not the specificity of the information which attracts negative influences; it is the importance placed upon it.

This is why we iterate quite often, when asked for specific information, that it pales to insignificance, just as the grass withers and dies while the love and the light of the One Infinite Creator redounds to the very infinite realms of creation forever and ever, creating and creating itself in perpetuity.

Why, then, be concerned with the grass that blooms, withers, and dies in its season only to grow once again due to the infinite love and light of the One Creator? This is the message we bring. Each entity is only superficially that which blooms and dies. In the deeper sense, there is no end to beingness.

So the message from the Confederation of Planets in the Service of the Infinite Creator would need to be repeated until those hearing it were able to put it into practice in their daily lives. This is foundation stone information. Upon it, then, can a spiritual dwelling place be built within the heart and the mind and the soul. Then the Confederation messages could begin to give the more advanced information: maybe how to work with the energy centers to facilitate the evolution of the mind, the body, and the spirit. Perhaps then the information on the energy centers might be expanded to show the correlation between the energy centers and the densities of light that are our pathway back into union with the One Creator. The student’s questions would determine the manner in which more advanced information would be given. In 48.7, Don asked Ra to give the high points in the incarnation of an entity high on the seniority list for harvest into the fourth density:

Questioner: Thank you. I would like to take as an example an entity, at birth, who is roughly high on the seniority list for positive polarization and possible harvestability at the end of this cycle, and follow a full cycle of his experience starting before his incarnation—which body is activated, process of becoming incarnate, the activation of the third-density physical body process as the body moves through this density and is acted upon by catalyst, and then the process of death, and the activation of the various bodies—so that we make a full circuit from a point prior to incarnation back around through incarnation and death and back to that position, you might say, in one cycle of incarnation in this density. Could you do that for me?

Ra: I am Ra. Your query is most distorted, for it assumes that creations are alike. Each mind/body/spirit complex has its own patterns of activation and its own rhythms of awakening. The important thing for harvest is the harmonious balance between the various energy centers of the mind/body/spirit complex. This is to be noted as of relative import. We grasp the thrust of your query and will make a most general answer stressing the unimportance of such arbitrary generalizations.

The entity, before incarnation, dwells in the appropriate, shall we say, place in time/space. The true-color type of this location will be dependent upon the entity’s needs. Those entities, for instance, which, being wanderers, have the green, blue, or indigo true-color core of mind/body/spirit complex will have rested therein.

Entrance into incarnation requires the investment, or activation, of the indigo-ray, or etheric body, for this is the form maker. The young, or small, physical mind/body/spirit complex has the seven energy centers potentiated before the birthing process. There are also analogs in time/space of these energy centers corresponding to the seven energy centers in each of the seven true-color densities. Thus in the microcosm exists all the experience that is prepared. It is as though the infant contains the universe.

The patterns of activation of an entity of high seniority will undoubtedly move with some rapidity to the green-ray level which is the springboard to primary blue. There is always some difficulty in penetrating blue primary energy, for it requires that which your people have in great paucity; that is, honesty. Blue ray is the ray of free communication with self and with other-self.

Having accepted that an harvestable or nearly harvestable entity will be working from this green-ray springboard, one may then posit that the experiences in the remainder of the incarnation will be focused upon activation of the primary blue ray of freely given communication; of indigo ray, that of freely shared intelligent energy; and, if possible, moving through this gateway, the penetration of violet-ray intelligent infinity. This may be seen to be manifested by a sense of the consecrate, or hallowed, nature of everyday creations and activities.

Upon the bodily complex death, as you call this transition, the entity will immediately, upon realization of its state, return to the indigo form-maker body and rest therein until the proper future placement is made.

Here we have the anomaly of harvest. In harvest the entity will then transfer its indigo body into violet-ray manifestation as seen in true-color yellow. This is for the purpose of gauging the harvestability of the entity. After this anomalous activity has been carefully completed, the entity will move into indigo body again and be placed in the correct true-color locus in space/time and time/space, at which time the healings and learn/teachings necessary shall be completed and further incarnation needs determined.

It rained lightly for nearly the full day today, so I didn’t do any outside work. I had an early appointment at a local hospital to have an X-ray taken of my right hip after my rheumatologist decided we needed to find out what was causing pain there for the last few years. After the X-ray was taken, the technician gave me the disc of the results which I dropped off at my rheumatologist’s office. Then I went to my veterinarian to get some help in installing an app that will allow me to order medications for my cats using that app instead of making a phone call. I am not convinced that such an app will be more effective than a simple phone call. Toward the end of the afternoon I did my usual vacuuming of the first floor of the house.

Carelessness And Forgetfulness

I am the spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ who speaks unto the world this day, this hour and this moment through the mouth of this instrument and in the heart of each and every soul that exists.

O, how abundant is the spirit! O how rich and inestimably close is the comfort which you seek!

It is mere forgetfulness, not willfulness, that draws most of you from the spirit and consciousness of Jesus the Christ. It is a carelessness of fine trust that one may go forward and forget the center of being.

Yet to move in thought and action without the spirit is to invite the calamity of a careless confusion, one less able to be penetrated in the end by love and peace.

Yes! We ask you, rejoicing, to carry the strength, the comfort, and the laughter of the spirit of Jesus the Christ in your heart each hour of this day, calling into remembrance all of Christ’s passion and remembering love itself made manifest, as that love made us manifest to you, for all time.

We leave you in peace, now and ever. In the name of Jesus the Christ. Amen.

“Questioner: Is the earth solid all the way through from one side to the other?

Ra: I am Ra. You may say that your sphere is of an honey-comb nature. The center is, however, solid if you would so call that which is molten.

Questioner: And the honey-comb nature—are there third-density incarnate entities living in the honey-combed areas? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This was at one time correct. This is not correct at this present space/time.”

In the first question Don asked Ra if the Earth was solid, and Ra replied that the Earth is of what they called an “honey-comb” nature with a center that is molten, which I take to mean full of the lava that spews forth from volcanoes. So, naturally, Don asked Ra if there were any third-density entities living in the honey-comb area of the Earth. Ra said that third-density entities did live in those honey-comb areas at one time but none lived there now. I have a hunch that the lost cities that they mentioned in 1.5 might have been built and inhabited by such entities:

The identity of the vibration Ra is our identity. We as a group, or what you would call a social memory complex, made contact with a race of your planetary kind which you call Egyptians. Others from our density made contact at the same time in South America, and the so-called “lost cities” were their attempts to contribute to the Law of One.

In 17.1, Ra was talking about the fourth-density population of Earth and mentioned some of this population would have come from the ‘inner civilizations” of our planet, and I wonder if these “lost cities” could have possibly produced such advanced beings:

Those who remain in fourth density upon this plane will be of the so-called positive orientation. Many will come from elsewhere, for it would appear that with all of the best efforts of the Confederation, which includes those from your peoples’ inner planes, inner civilizations, and those from other dimensions, the harvest will still be much less than that which this planetary sphere is capable of comfortably supporting in service.

This morning Gary, Austin, and I had our 100^th L/L Research podcast. Our main topic of discussion was our new website. We also talked to some about our own spiritual paths in these last few months. The last portion of the podcast was devoted to a tour of our new website and many of its user-friendly features.

This afternoon I went outside and pumped out half of the water and then refilled the pond with fresh water. The water quality has improved with each of the recent pumping out of the water. I will have a professional pond cleaner come out next week and give the liner and stones a complete cleaning while the fish are in tanks outside of the pond. While the pond was refilling today I did some weeding in the driveway and parking area out on the street as well as the path around the pond and the stone walkway from the house to the garage.

Contention And Disagreement

I am the active principle of Jesus the Christ, the spirit which speaks to the world this day. I greet you in the consciousness of full and divine love.

This day this instrument goes to a convention to do business for her church. This instrument seems to expect a good many differing and potentially hostile opinions.

It is encouraged, in this instrument and in all who see contention in the world outside the self, that all the various opinions and disagreements without be taken within, that it may be recognized that that which is seen as a picture with the eyes may be understood to be a way of seeing that contention, that confusion, which is within the self.

When once the peace of Christ has penetrated the inner being and the heart is soft and compassionate, the outer confusion will never again seem threatening but merely noisy, for there is a peace which passes all understanding.

It is the understanding of love, and in this love and peace we leave you. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. The Ra quote today comes from 60.23-.25:

“Questioner: And there are no— Are there any inner civilizations or entities living in these areas that are some of the other-than-physically incarnate who do come and materialize on the earth’s surface at times?

Ra: I am Ra. As we have noted, there are some which do as you say. Further, there are some inner plane entities of this planet which prefer to do some materialization into third-density visible in these areas. There are also bases, shall we say, in these areas of those from elsewhere, both positive and negative. There are abandoned cities.

Questioner: What are these bases used for by those from elsewhere?

Ra: I am Ra. These bases are used for the work of materialization of needed equipment for communication with third-density entities and for resting places for some equipment which you might call small craft. These are used for surveillance when it is requested by entities. Thus some of the, shall we say, teachers of the Confederation speak partially through these surveillance instruments along computerized lines, and when information is desired and those requesting it are of the proper vibratory level, the Confederation entity itself will then speak.

Questioner: Am I to understand then that the Confederation entity needs communication equipment and craft to communicate with the third-density incarnate entity requesting the information?

Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect. However, many of your peoples request the same basic information in enormous repetition, and for a social memory complex to speak ad infinitum about the need to meditate is a waste of the considerable abilities of such social memory complexes.

Thus, some entities have had approved by the Council of Saturn the placement and maintenance of these message-givers for those whose needs are simple, thus reserving the abilities of the Confederation members for those already meditating and absorbing information, which are then ready for additional information.”

In the previous question and answer Ra had mentioned that the Earth was of a honey-combed nature rather than being solid or hollow, as some have claimed. In the first question Don wanted to know if these honey-combed areas were used by anyone. Ra replied that some inner planes entities would materialize in those areas as would both positively and negatively oriented extraterrestrials. Ra first mentioned inner plane entities from the Confederation in 7.9:

Questioner: I have a question here, I believe, about that Council from Jim. Who are the members, and how does the Council function?

Ra: I am Ra. The members of the Council are representatives from the Confederation and from those vibratory levels of your inner planes bearing responsibility for your third density. The names are not important because there are no names. Your mind/body/spirit complexes request names, and so, in many cases, the vibratory sound complexes which are consonant with the vibratory distortions of each entity are used. However, the name concept is not part of the Council. If names are requested, we will attempt them. However, not all have chosen names.

In 12.14, Ra mentioned negatively oriented entities who inhabit the inner planes as well:

The Orion group has aided the so-called negatively oriented among your mind/body/spirit complexes. These same entities would be concerning themselves with service to self in any case, and there are many upon your so-called inner planes which are negatively oriented and thus available as inner teachers, or guides, and so-called possessors of certain souls who seek this distortion of service to self.

Ra also mentioned that there were abandoned cities within the honey-combed areas of the Earth. In 1.5, Ra first mentioned these “lost cities”:

Questioner: Could you give me a little more detail about your role with the Egyptians?

Ra: I am Ra. The identity of the vibration Ra is our identity. We as a group, or what you would call a social memory complex, made contact with a race of your planetary kind which you call Egyptians. Others from our density made contact at the same time in South America, and the so-called “lost cities” were their attempts to contribute to the Law of One.

In the next question Don asked what these bases were used for in the honey-combed area of the Earth. Ra said that the Confederation used these bases to house small craft and some computerized equipment that the Confederation teachers used for communication with entities on the surface of the planet. Don seemed rather incredulous that the Confederation would need to use any kind of computerized equipment to communicate with seekers of truth. Ra assured him that this computerized type of communication was only used for those entities who could not assimilate the basic information concerning the need to meditate and kept calling for the same information over and over. When the proper vibration for more information was offered by such seekers the Ra said that the Confederation entity itself would speak. Ra demonstrated this principle in their very first words to us in 1.0:

I am Ra. I have not spoken through this instrument before. We had to wait until she was precisely tuned, as we send a narrow-band vibration. We greet you in the love and in the light of our Infinite Creator.

We have watched your group. We have been called to your group, for you have a need for the diversity of experiences in channeling which go with a more intensive, or as you might call it, advanced approach to the system of studying the patterns of the illusions of your body, your mind, and your spirit, which you call seeking the truth. We hope to offer you a somewhat different slant upon the information which is always and ever the same.

The Confederation of Planets in the Service of the Infinite Creator has only one important statement. That statement, my friends, as you know, is: “All things, all of life, all of the creation is part of One Original Thought.”

We will exercise each channel if we are able to. The reception of our beam is a somewhat more advanced feat than some of the more broad vibration channels opened by other members for more introductory and intermediate work.

The fellows from Lowe’s delivered my new refrigerator this morning, and then I was able to get the food from the frig by the back door transferred into it. I was also able to get all the little notes, buttons, images, and messages that were held onto the frig by magnets back onto the frig to properly decorate it. There are a lot of sentimental items there from when Carla was alive.

This afternoon I drove to Thieneman’s Garden Center and bought four butterfly bushes. I planted them on the right side of the day lily garden, both of which are on the right side of the fish pond. This is the area that has the most light in my yard, except for where we put the tent for Homecoming, and I am hoping these bushes will do well there. I cut a few of the limbs from the tree closest to the bushes to give them a little more light. I lined the area with the stones that I took from the moss garden a few days ago and mulched it with pine straw. Shortly thereafter a nice little rain fell to add more water to my work.

Hope And The Experience Of Love

I am known as the Holy Spirit. I greet you in the full consciousness of the love and the creative energy of Jesus the Christ.

As that active energy called love invisibly swirls and moves throughout each atom of creation, opportunities are constantly being given for that which is of a less spiritual nature to take on the vibrations of a spiritualized love. Thus does the spirit bring out the song in stone, the clapping of hands of the trees, and the rejoicing of the mountains.

Thus also the spirit of the Holy One moves invisibly and energetically within the heart of humankind, creating seemingly from nothing a strong and lasting faith. The seeker who wishes to experience the movement of the active principle of love need bring to the encounter with that transformative energy nothing but a heart full of hope.

Not all encounters with new life are as dramatic as Paul’s vision upon the road to Damascus. May you be willing to support within yourself those promptings of energetic love which whisper from deep within your heart. May you hope in the spirit.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 60.20:

“Questioner: Thank you. In trying to understand the energies—creative energies—it has occurred to me that I really do not understand why unusable heat is generated as our earth moves from third into fourth density. I know it has to do with disharmony between the vibrations of third and fourth density, but why this would show up as a physical heating within the earth is beyond me. Can you enlighten me on that?

Ra: I am Ra. The concepts are somewhat difficult to penetrate in your language. However, we shall attempt to speak to the subject.

If an entity is not in harmony with its circumstances it feels a burning within. The temperature of the physical vehicle does not yet rise, only the heat of the temper or the tears, as we may describe this disharmony. However, if an entity persists for a long period of your space/time in feeling this emotive heat and disharmony, the entire body complex will begin to resonate to this disharmony, and the disharmony will then show up as the cancer or other degenerative distortions from what you call health.

When an entire planetary system of peoples and cultures repeatedly experiences disharmony on a great scale, the earth under the feet of these entities shall begin to resonate with this disharmony. Due to the nature of the physical vehicle, disharmony shows up as a blockage of growth or an uncontrolled growth, since the primary function of a mind/body/spirit complex’s bodily complex is growth and maintenance.

In the case of your planet, the purpose of the planet is the maintenance of orbit and the proper location or orientation with regards to other cosmic influences. In order to have this occurring properly the interior of your sphere is hot, in your physical terms. Thus, instead of uncontrolled growth you begin to experience uncontrolled heat and its expansive consequences.”

In this question Don was looking at the increasing number of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes that have occurred in the last portion of the twentieth century and which have continued since this question was asked. Ra began their answer with an analogy of a person who feels disharmony in its life pattern and feels anger and frustration at others or at the self in response to that disharmony. The heat of the anger, when felt over a long period of time, can cause disease within the person, and Ra said that this kind of long-term anger can cause cancer or other degenerative diseases within the body complex. In 40.9 and 40.12, Ra described the process by which anger can cause cancer in the human body:

Questioner: Has the vibration of the basic . . . of the photon, of all our particles increased in frequency already?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. It is this influence which has begun to cause thoughts to become things. As an example, you may observe the thoughts of anger becoming those cells of the physical bodily complex going out of control to become what you call the cancer.

. . .

Questioner: You mentioned that thoughts of anger now are causing cancer. Can you expand on this mechanism as it acts as a catalyst or its complete purpose?

Ra: I am Ra. The fourth density is one of revealed information. Selves are not hidden to self or other-selves. The imbalances or distortions which are of a destructive nature show, therefore, in more obvious ways, the vehicle of the mind/body/spirit complex thus acting as a teaching resource for self-revelation. These illnesses such as cancer are correspondingly very amenable to self-healing once the mechanism of the destructive influence has been grasped by the individual.

Then Ra extrapolated this principle to planet Earth which is already apparently made up of a molten core of what we could call magma, the substance of volcanic eruptions. It is well known that the history of Earth is the history of warfare between peoples. When the heat and anger of this bellicosity is expressed over thousands of years Ra said that the heat of this anger causes the Earth itself to resonate with this anger. The heat of this anger must be released in some manner, and as Earth moves into the fourth-density vibrations of love and understanding there is a significant mismatch between Earth’s vibrations and those of the fourth density. Ra suggested that this mismatch causes an uneven release of this heat of anger in the Earth’s crust. In17.1, Ra gave more information regarding how this anger affects the movement of Earth into the fourth density:

The fourth density is a vibrational spectrum. Your time/space continuum has spiraled your planetary sphere and your, what we would call galaxy, what you call star, into this vibration. This will cause the planetary sphere itself to electromagnetically realign its vortices of reception of the instreaming of cosmic forces expressing themselves as vibrational webs so that the earth will thus be fourth-density magnetized, as you might call it.

This is going to occur with some inconvenience, as we have said before, due to the energies of the thought-forms of your peoples which disturb the orderly constructs of energy patterns within your earth spirals of energy, which increases entropy and unusable heat. This will cause your planetary sphere to have some ruptures in its outer garment while making itself appropriately magnetized for fourth density. This is the planetary adjustment.

So volcanoes and earthquakes are the analogy in the Earth to the cancer that long-term anger can cause in people. In both cases there needs to be forgiveness both of the self and all other selves involved in the situation in which the anger was generated. In 40.13-.14, Ra suggested a means by which cancer could be healed by forgiveness and diet:

Questioner: Then you are saying that cancer is quite easily healed mentally and is a good teaching tool because it is quite easily healed mentally, and once the entity forgives the other-self at whom he is angry, cancer will disappear. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is partially correct. The other portion of healing has to do with forgiveness of self and a greatly heightened respect for the self. This may conveniently be expressed by taking care in dietary matters. This is quite frequently a part of the healing and forgiving process. Your basic premise is correct.

Questioner: In dietary matters, what would be the foods that one would include, and what would be the foods that one would exclude, in a general way, for the most or the greatest care of one’s bodily complex?

Ra: I am Ra. Firstly, we underline and emphasize that this information is not to be understood literally but as a link, or psychological nudge, for the body and the mind and spirit. Thus it is the care and respect for the self that is the true thing of importance. In this light we may iterate the basic information given for this instrument’s diet. The vegetables, the fruits, the grains, and to the extent necessary for the individual metabolism, the animal products. These are those substances showing respect for the self.

In addition, though this has not been mentioned, for this instrument is not in need of purification, those entities in need of purging the self of a poison thought-form or emotion complex do well to take care in following a program of careful fasting until the destructive thought-form has been purged analogously with the by-products of ridding the physical vehicle of excess material. Again you see the value not to the body complex, but used as a link for the mind and spirit. Thus self reveals self to self.

This morning I discovered that my refrigerator died and that the temperature was rising within it. Fortunately, I have a second refrigerator in the far back corner of the kitchen that Austin, Gary, and Trish used when they were working in the office. After the pandemic hit they began working from home, and I eventually purged all the old food out of that refrigerator and turned it off. So I was very glad to be able to transfer my food from the old refrigerator to the other refrigerator. I then went to Lowe’s and purchased a new refrigerator which is due to be delivered tomorrow.

This afternoon I went outside and used my backpack blower to blow the leaves in the back yard into position so that I could use my big mower to shred the leaves into dust. My final work was to use my blower again to blow the leaf dust off of the various walkways in the back yard.

Is there a, shall we say, mental exercise or something else that the instrument could work on to help to alleviate the extreme problems she has at this time with her hands, etc.?

Ra: I am Ra. Yes.

Questioner: Would this be an exercise of meditation and contemplation upon the alleviation of these problems?

Ra: I am Ra. No.

Questioner: What would she do then in order to alleviate these problems?

Ra: I am Ra. As we have said, this instrument, feeling that it lacked compassion to balance wisdom, chose an incarnative experience whereby it was, of necessity, placed in situations of accepting self in the absence of other-selves’ acceptance, and the acceptance of other-self without expecting a return or energy transfer. This is not an easy program for an incarnation but was deemed proper by this entity.

This entity, therefore, must needs meditate and consciously, moment by moment, accept the self in its limitations which have been placed for the very purpose of bringing this entity to the precise tuning we are using.

Further, having learned to radiate acceptance and love without expecting return, this entity now must balance this by learning to accept the gifts of love and acceptance of others, which this instrument feels some discomfort in accepting. These two balancing workings will aid this entity in the release from the distortion called pain. The limitations are, to a great extent, fixed.

Questioner: Is the fact that the instrument already was consciously aware of this the reason that the First Distortion was not in force in making it impossible for you to communicate this to us?

Ra: I am Ra. This is not only correct for this entity, which has been consciously aware of these learn/teachings for some of your years, but also true of each of the support group. The possibility of some of this information being offered was not there until this session.”

In these questions Don is asking Ra what can be done to help Carla with the pain that she was feeling in her hands and arms, that was arthritic in nature, and was limiting her ability to use them. Ra mentioned that the limitations were mostly fixed, and this was by pre-incarnative choice, but that the pain could be alleviated by Carla being able to accept the limitations. For her entire adult life the limitations had caused her to focus inwardly on the things of the spirit: meditation, contemplation, and prayer. This focus was for the purpose of helping her to become a channel, as she did, indeed, become, and not waste her energy on mundane activities. In 25.2, Ra mentioned how it was helpful for Carla to be able to accept her limitations:

Questioner: The second question the instrument requested was: “How may I best revitalize myself, not only now, but in the future?”

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument is aware of the basic needs of its constitution, those being: meditation, acceptance of limitations, experiences of joy through association with others and with the beauty as of the singing; and the exercising with great contact, whenever possible, with the life forces of second density, especially those of trees; this entity also needing to be aware of the moderate but steady intake of foodstuffs, exercise being suggested at a fairly early portion of the day and at a later portion of the day before the resting.

Her parents expected much more from Carla as a child than most kids are expected to do because she was so intelligent. So they didn’t express much gratitude for her babysitting her brother when she was just seven or her cooking for her family when she was ten. They chose, instead, to give her constructive criticism that was designed to help her develop her high intelligence. Thusly did she give love without expectation of return as a young child. In 50.5, Ra shared Carla’s pre-incarnative choice of giving love without expectation of return:

This entity chose, before incarnation, the means whereby catalyst had great probability of being obtained. This entity desired the process of expressing love and light without expecting any return. This instrument programmed also to endeavor to accomplish spiritual work and to comfort itself with companionship in the doing of this work.

Agreements were made prior to incarnation; the first, with the so-called parents and siblings of this entity. This provided the experiential catalyst for the situation of offering radiance of being without expectation of return.

In our life together after the Ra contact, Carla was finally able to accept the love offerings that I gave her in helping her to do things that she could not do for herself, especially in the last few years of her life when she was confined to a hospital bed by the lower back surgery of April, 2011. She was able to balance the giving without expectation of return from her childhood with the ability to accept the love offerings of others. However, it frustrated many people that wanted to heal her that her distortions were not healable. These distortions were not meant to be healed as they had a higher purpose to serve for the entire life. When an attempt at healing is unsuccessful for anyone, it is well to see what the ailment, or limitation, has to offer in a positive sense to the growth of the soul as Ra advised in 73.19:

We might note further that when the one wishing to be healed, though sincere, remains unhealed, as you call this distortion, you may consider pre-incarnative choices; and your more helpful aid to such an entity may be the suggestion that it meditate upon the affirmative uses of whatever limitations it might experience. We would also note that in these cases the indigo-ray workings are often of aid.

In Don’s last question he seemed impressed that Ra was able to give us all this detailed information concerning some of Carla’s most significant pre-incarnative choices and their state of realization in her life. Don asked Ra if the fact that Carla was already aware of this information allowed Ra to speak to this subject. Ra agreed that this was so and also remarked that it was not until this very session that Don and I were enough aware of these pre-incarnative choices of Carla’s to allow Ra to speak to the three of us concerning Carla’s life patterns.

This afternoon I went outside and pumped half the water out of the fish pond and then refilled it with fresh water. While the water was pumping out I cleaned the filters and, once again, used a straw broom to brush the dirt and mud off the liner of the pond and the flat stones that the water lilies sit on. A raccoon got into the pond a couple of weeks ago and scattered the contents of two newly planted water lily tubers in their containers, including the dirt, into the pond. The water quality seems to be improving now after half a dozen drainings of the pond.

Then I began blowing leaves into position in the front and side yards so I could mow them with my big mower and reduce them to leaf dust. While the pond was refilling with water I did use my big mower on the leaves.

My last job was to remove the decorative stones from the Moss Garden and store them on the right side of the fish pond where I am hoping to plant some butterfly bushes. I would use the stones to outline the bed of butterfly bushes. I am also planning to plant grass where the moss has been growing for the last few years because this tiny little vine, with light green round leaves, keeps covering the moss so I have to use my trimmer to skim it off the moss without damaging the moss, and then the little vine is back within a week. The first couple of years that I had the moss garden there were none of these little vines around, and the moss garden looked great. However, I believe that a carpet of grass will also set off the flowers in the middle of the area like the moss did, so the garden will still shine.

Newness And Clarity

Greetings in the consciousness of the love of Christ. We are the spirit of that love in the vibration which comforts this instrument.

We find this instrument’s vocal apparatus ready to serve and her desire strong. And we find one more element which improves this child’s opportunities for being of true service. That is that there is little preparation made beforehand as to what this moment of contact will bring.

It is an uncomfortable way to enter into acts of communication and yet it bears the stamp of the consciousness of Christ. For the essence of love is freedom. The less guessing that you offer about what shape the communication will take, the greater scope the mind has to accept information.

Seek, then, to put on the nakedness of no expectation, and remove from yourselves the clumsy, heavy shoes of fantasy and design and feel the burst of newness and clarity spring through into your conversations.

“Questioner: Will spreading the workings out over greater intervals of time so that we have more time between workings help?

Ra: I am Ra. This you have already done. It is not helpful to your group to become unbalanced by concern for one portion of the work above another. If this instrument is, in your judgment, capable, and if the support group is functioning well, if all is harmonious, and if the questions to be asked have been considered well, the working is well begun. To overly stress the condition of the instrument is as deleterious to the efficiency of this contact as the antithetical behavior was in your past.”

Don always asked about the condition of the instrument at the beginning of each session with Ra to be sure that we were doing all that we could to keep Carla in the best possible condition. She was periodically low on physical energy because she never really had much to start with as her pre-incarnative choices were set to limit her worldly activities and focus her inwardly. She also faced almost constant psychic greetings that sought to take advantage of these physical distortions to hinder the Ra contact. Carla was also willing and able to use her will to replace missing vital energies so that contacts with Ra cold occur. This was found to be deleterious to her overall health and was not advised. In 92.22, Ra mentioned how psychic greetings, pain, and Carla’s unwise use of her will were functioning to reduce her physical energy:

Questioner: Is there a specific cause for this, and could you tell us what it is if so?

Ra: I am Ra. The effective cause of the increased physical distortions have to do with the press of continued substantial levels of the distortion you call pain. Various vehicular distortions, other than the specifically arthritic, have been accentuated by psychic greeting, and the combined effect has been deleterious.

The continued slight but noticeable losses of the vital energies is due to the necessity for the instrument to call upon this resource in order to clear the, shall we say, way for a carefully purified service-to-others working. The use of the will in the absence of physical and, in this particular case, mental and mental/emotional energies requires vital energies.

So, Don asked this question as to what else we could do to aid Carla and wondered if spreading the sessions out over a longer period of time would help. Note that this question was asked on July 1, 1981. By this time we had had the Ra contact for six months and had already amassed 60 sessions. Ra mentioned in their answer that we had sessions too frequently in the beginning of the Ra contact. There were days when we had two sessions per day. This was the contact of a lifetime, the one for which Don had been waiting nearly twenty years. So in this answer Ra once again stressed the advisability of balance. Our having so many sessions in the beginning of the Ra contact wasn’t a balanced action, and to become overly concerned with the instrument’s condition later on was also mentioned by Ra as not a balanced action either. In 60.8, Ra went into more detail about how Carla could achieve this balance on the personal level:

Questioner: What would she do then in order to alleviate these problems?

Ra: I am Ra. Today was another Sabbath Day of Rest. I began the day by answering a number of emails that I had recently received. Then I decided to take a nap which lasted about 45 minutes. I took my regular errand run after lunch, stopping first at Feeder’s Supply to buy food for the cats, and then I stopped in at Paul’s Fruit Market to buy some food for myself. In the afternoon I washed my new casual pants and enjoyed a good meditation.

See Love Within The Self

I am of the principle of the love of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

We ask you to use the eyes of love to look upon yourself at this time. See the principle of love which sustains the physical body with the breathing, the movement of the blood which gives life to the body, the movement of your digestive processes which offers to the body nutriment, those cleansing and purifying forces of body which carefully remove those things harmful to the body and eliminate them.

Know and feel that the spirit of the living Christ dwells in this good body, this healthful, lively clothing of flesh.

Gaze at the inward thoughts and shed upon them the light of living love. Praise those tendencies within the self which tend toward the love of Christ and its reflection within the thoughts of each and every moment. Come into a state of love with the self, acceptance and praise of the self, knowing that the Creator moves through each part of the body, every portion of the mind.

Then, and only then, armed with a love of self in Christ, gaze outward and see Christ in every body, every mind, and every yearning soul. It is your choice to love and invite, with every portion of will, the viewpoint of love towards self and all.

“Questioner: Can you tell me the best approach for altering, to a more acceptable condition, the distortions that the instrument is experiencing?

Ra: I am Ra. There is some small amount of work which the instrument may do concerning its pre-incarnative decisions regarding service to the Infinite Creator in this experience. However, the decision to open, without reservation, to the offering of self when service is perceived is such a fundamental choice that it is not open to significant alteration, nor would we wish to interfere with the balancing process which is taking place with this particular entity.

The wisdom and compassion being so balanced by this recapitulation of fourth density is helpful to this particular mind/body/spirit complex. It is not an entity much given to quibbling with the purity with which it carries out that which it feels it is best to do. We may say this due to the instrument’s knowledge of itself, which is clear upon this point. However, this very discussion may give rise to a slightly less fully unstopped dedication to service in any one working so that the service may be continued over a greater period of your space/time.

Questioner: You are saying then that the physical distortions that the instrument experienced are part of a balancing process? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect. The physical distortions are a result of the instrument’s not accepting fully the limitations, placed prior to incarnation, upon the activities of the entity once it had begun the working. The distortions caused by this working, which are inevitable given the plan chosen by this entity, are limitation and—to a degree consonant with the amount of vital and physical energy expended—weariness due to that which is the equivalent in this instrument of many, many hours of harsh physical labor.

This is why we suggested the instrument’s thoughts dwelling upon the possibility of its suggesting to its higher self the possibility of some slight reservation of energy at a working. This instrument, at this time, is quite open until all resources are quite exhausted. This is well, if desired. However, it will, shall we say, shorten the number of workings in what you may call the long run.”

Throughout the Ra contact the three of us were constantly looking for ways to make Carla more comfortable because her pre-incarnative choice to be of service as purely as possible meant that she was willing to give her all for a session with Ra to occur. She would frequently have no physical or vital energy left after a session. Another of her pre-incarnative choices which played a large role in her discomfort was to limit herself physically with arthritis so that she would be forced to focus upon the inner world of contemplation, prayer, and meditation that would allow her to become an instrument for those of Ra. After the contact with Ra began these pre-incarnative choices were intensified in their activation. If she tried to exceed these physical limitations in her daily life, the pain she felt in her arthritic joints would be greater. In 100.3, Ra elaborated on Carla’s tendency to exceed her physical limitations and suggested a more balanced approach:

Questioner: Would Ra please comment?

Ra: I am Ra. As has been previously noted, the instrument has the propensity for attempting to exceed its limits. If one considers the metaphysical or time/space aspect of an incarnation, this is a fortunate and efficient use of catalyst as the will is constantly being strengthened. And, further, if the limitations are exceeded in the service of others the polarization is also most efficient.

However, we perceive the query to speak to the space/time portion of incarnational experience, and in that framework would again ask the instrument to consider the value of martyrdom. The instrument may examine its range of reactions to the swirling waters. It will discover a correlation between it and other activity.

When the so-called aerobic exercise is pursued, no less than three of your hours, and preferably five of your hours, should pass betwixt it and the swirling waters. When the walking has been accomplished, a period of no less than, we believe, forty of your minutes must needs transpire before the swirling waters, and preferably twice that amount of your space/time.

It is true that some greeting has encouraged the dizziness felt by the instrument. However, its source is largely the determination of the instrument to remain immersed in the swirling waters past the period of space/time it may abide therein without exceeding its physical limits.

Added to these pre-incarnative choices was a balancing process that Ra described as a “recapitulation of fourth density” where Cara was attempting to enhance her compassion by balancing it with the great wisdom that she had developed up to this point in her soul’s development. In 52.9, Ra mentioned that a wanderer’s social memory complex totality may suggest that individuals within the social memory complex may use the personal portion of a service-to-others incarnation to, “recapitulate a learning/teaching which is adjudged to be less than perfectly balanced”:

Questioner: Well, I would just include the question as to why time of harvest is selected by so many wanderers as time for incarnation?

Ra: I am Ra. There are several reasons for incarnation during harvest. They may be divided by the terms self and other-self.

The overriding reason for the offering of these Brothers and Sisters of Sorrow in incarnative states is the possibility of aiding other-selves by the lightening of the planetary-consciousness distortions and the probability of offering catalyst to other-selves which will increase the harvest.

There are two other reasons for choosing this service which have to do with the self.

The wanderer, if it remembers and dedicates itself to service, will polarize much more rapidly than is possible in the far more etiolated realms of higher-density catalyst.

The final reason is within the mind/body/spirit totality or the social memory complex totality which may judge that an entity, or members of a societal entity, can make use of third-density catalyst to recapitulate a learning/teaching which is adjudged to be less than perfectly balanced. This especially applies to those entering into and proceeding through sixth density wherein the balance between compassion and wisdom is perfected.

So the bottom line in all of these factors, which resulted in Carla’s overwhelming desire to be of service to others, was to take Ra’s advice that she suggest to her higher self that she be able to reserve some vital energy after each session with Ra rather than continuing to use up all of her energy. This she was able to do, and I believe that our being able to amass 106 sessions with those of Ra was due in part to this decision. In 70.24, Ra mentioned that Carla had made the arrangement to reserve some vital energy after each session, but here Ra mentioned that this arrangement was with her unconscious mind rather than her higher self:

Questioner: I will, at the next session, then attempt to turn more toward the heart. I was attempting in this session to get at a point that I thought was central to the evolution of spirit, but I seem to have gone awry. I’m sorry for that. It is sometimes very, very difficult for me to question wisely in these areas.

I will just ask if there is anything that we can do to benefit the contact or make the instrument more comfortable?

Ra: I am Ra. You are most conscientious, and the alignments are especially good. We thank you, my friends, and have been glad to speak with you. We are attempting to be of the greatest aid to you by taking care not to deplete this instrument. Thus, although a reserve remains we will attempt from this working onward to keep this reserve, for this instrument has arranged its subconscious to accept this configuration.

I am Ra. You are all doing well, my friends. We leave you in the love and in the light of the One Infinite Creator. Go forth, therefore, rejoicing and glorying in the power and in the peace of the One Infinite Creator. Adonai.

My first work outside this afternoon was to attempt to repair six areas on the outside of the windows between the living room and the back deck. Over the years the rain has gotten between the glass and the wood on the outside, and I was told by a carpenter friend that there really wasn’t anything that he could do about that. So my solution has been to use white duct tape to match the painted wood and tape over the leaking areas. However, over the last few years that tape has begun to disintegrate, so my work today was to pull all the disintegrated tape off and replace it with fresh tape. When I got the old tape off of the six areas in question I noticed that some of the wood had begun to rot. I had enough tape to complete four of the six areas, so I will have to buy more tape and finish the job Monday.

My second job was to bring in the large Asparagus Fern and put it in the right corner of the living room on top of five 5-gal. plastic buckets which are covered with a pretty table cloth. I just have seven house plants left to bring into the living room which are now hanging around the fish pond. Then the jungle effect in the living room will be complete.

Rest In That Peace

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of unconditional love.

To this instrument comes light. To each comes light. To each also comes the appearance of darkness, shadow and penumbra.

Jesus the Christ promised that we who comfort would be with each seeker until the end of the age. His promise is being kept most devotedly, most persistently, and most joyfully. The waves of consciousness are moved by tides through which it is not necessary to move if there be that self within which may say, “Peace, be still.”

Allow the morning light to be a symbol to you of the hope and the faith that calms the sea of reaction, distortion and upset. In an ultimate sense, all is well and all will be well.

Rest in that peace and allow the waters to move as they will, teaching, with every tide, one more lesson in love.

We are always with you. We who comfort hold you always in our arms. Become aware of us but know that we shall not change for you the tide, but only comfort you as you make your progress upon the sea of consciousness.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. The Ra quote today comes from 59.25:

“Questioner: Only if there is anything that we can do to make the instrument more comfortable or improve the contact?

Ra: I am Ra. All is well. We are aware that you experience difficulties at this time, but they are not due to your lack of conscientiousness or dedication.

I am Ra. I leave you in the love and in the light of the One Infinite Creator. Go forth, then, rejoicing in the power and the peace of the One Infinite Creator. Adonai.”

In response to Don’s maintenance question where he asked Ra if there was anything that we could do to improve the comfort of the instrument or improve the contact, Ra said that “All is well”, but then they added that they were aware that we were “experiencing difficulties” but these difficulties were not due to our “lack of conscientiousness or dedication.”

When I read about the difficulties that we were apparently experiencing at this time I could not remember what Ra was talking about. So I went to Book V of The Law of One to look for what might have been our difficulty that Ra spoke of. Originally, we withheld personal information from publication because we thought there was too great a possibility that people would focus on our personalities rather than the concepts being discussed. Eventually Carla and I decided that it would be a good idea to publish the personal material because we felt it would be good for people to see that we were just like they are with the same challenges in our lives. So, I looked in Book Five to see the general gist of what Ra was talking about in Session 59, and the only personal material mentioned was the question that I asked Ra near the beginning of this session, 59.3:

Questioner: I have a question from Jim that states: “I think I have penetrated the mystery of my lifelong anger at making mistakes. I think I have always been aware subconsciously of my abilities to master new learnings, but my desire to successfully complete my mission on Earth has been energized by the Orion group into irrational and destructive anger when I fail. Could you comment on this observation?”

Ra: I am Ra. We would suggest that as this entity is aware of its position as a wanderer, it may also consider what pre-incarnative decisions it undertook to make regarding the personal, or self-oriented, portion of the choosing to be here at this particular time/space. This entity is aware, as stated, that it has great potential, but potential for what? This is the pre-incarnative question.

The work of sixth density is to unify wisdom and compassion. This entity abounds in wisdom. The compassion it is desirous of balancing has, as its antithesis, lack of compassion. In the more conscious being this expresses or manifests itself as lack of compassion for self. We feel this is the sum of suggested concepts for thought which we may offer at this time without infringement.

My comments in Book 5 were brief, and I basically said that when a seeker (myself in this case) becomes aware that negative entities can accentuate any distortions the seeker may have, it is easy to blame the Orion group for the distortions. My final comment was that negative intensifying of such distortions offered a chance for balancing the distortions—in this case my anger.

Carla’s comments on this topic also recognized the need for people to balance their unwanted behaviors rather than try to eliminate them. She also said that it was not a good idea to judge one’s self negatively when attempting to balance unwanted behaviors but to love and accept the self as part of the balancing process.

Now, after having said all of this, I must admit that I do not remember what the difficulty was that Ra said that our group of three was experiencing, and I am not sure how my question and Ra’s answer might have been related to this problem. However, I am certainly glad that it was not due to our “lack of conscientiousness or dedication.” A lot of our lives gets lost in the mists of time, in this case 40 years.

This afternoon I went outside, climbed the ladder and finished pulling all of the English ivy off of the outside of the living room. Then I used my trimmer to remove what little pieces of ivy remained on the lower part of the walls. Altogether, I was able to fill four more garbage cans with this ivy and complete the job around the whole house. Then my last job of the day was to go inside and vacuum the first floor of the house.

What Is Truth?

I am the spirit of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

What is truth? Open your eyes, your mind, and your heart and gaze at truth.

See the air which you breathe, the life-giving air of the body and, yet, also the energetic expression of love, food born in every particle of your air for that soul which so craves the breath of spirit.

Gaze upon that which immediately meets the eye. Dwelling within each atom, each tiny portion of that which you see is truth, the truth of energetic fields which contain in infinite number expressions of the Father.

It is sometimes difficult to see in a worn-out chair or a disreputable-looking human the truth expressed perfectly through each portion of consciousness. Fix your mind first on truth and then on appearances and allow the higher realization to interpret for you the surface pictures of an unkind world. We say unkind and so it looks, yet know that all will be well in the harmonious outworking of each appearance, so the truth is continually being uncovered by each growing spirit.

“Questioner: Is the pyramid shape that Jim has constructed in our yard functioning properly? Is it aligned properly and built properly?

Ra: I am Ra. It is built within good tolerances though not perfect. However, its alignment should be as this resting place for maximum efficacy.

Questioner: Do you mean that one of the base sides should be aligned 20° east of north?

Ra: I am Ra. That alignment would be efficacious.

Questioner: Previously you stated that one of the base sides should be aligned with magnetic north. Which is better, to align with magnetic north or to align with 20° east of magnetic north?

Ra: I am Ra. This is at your discretion. The proper alignment for you of this sphere at this time is magnetic north. However, in your query you asked specifically about a structure which has been used by specific entities whose energy vortices are more consonant with the, shall we say, true-color green orientation. This would be the 20° east of north.

There are advantages to each orientation. The effect is stronger at magnetic north and can be felt more clearly. The energy, though weak, coming from the now-distant-but-soon-to-be-paramount direction is more helpful.

The choice is yours. It is the choice between quantity and quality, or wide-band and narrow-band aid in meditation.”

In his first question in this series of questions concerning aligning a pyramid for use in meditation, Don asked Ra if the pyramid that I had constructed in the middle of our circle driveway was properly built and functioning as it should. I had made it out of four ten foot wooden closet rods and had put a lawn chair under its apex. Ra suggested that I had built it “within good tolerances though not perfect.” They also suggested that I should align it the same as the bed Carla rested on during the Ra contract as suggested in 2.6:

“The proper alignment is the head pointed twenty degrees north-by-northeast. This is the direction from which the newer, or New Age, distortions of love/light, which are less distorted, are emanating from, and this instrument will find comfort therein.”

Then Don asked Ra if magnetic north alignment or twenty degrees east of magnetic north would be better. Ra said that was our choice. They went on to say that magnetic north would produce a stronger effect, but the twenty degrees east of north position would provide a “narrow-band aid in meditation”. They had also said that such a higher quality aid in meditation would soon become much stronger as time went on. That was 40 years ago, and I would guess that now those New Age energies are quite strong. In 54.14, Ra described the use of the pyramid that one would meditate in:

Questioner: What is the aid, or the mechanism of the aid, received for meditation for an entity who would be positioned in the so-called Queen’s Chamber position?

Ra: I am Ra. Consider the polarity of mind/body/spirit complexes. The inner light is that which is your heart of being. Its strength equals your strength of will to seek the light. The position, or balanced position of a group, intensifies the amount of this will, the amount of awareness of the inner light necessary to attract the instreaming light upward, spiraling from the south magnetic pole of being.

Thus this is the place of the initiate, for many extraneous items, or distortions, will leave the entity as it intensifies its seeking so that it may become one with this centralized and purified incoming light.

In 57.32, Ra gave the best apex angle for a pyramid that we could meditate in:

Questioner: I will restate the question. I am assuming then that it might be dangerous to use a 76° angle pyramid, and I will ask what angle less than 76° would be roughly the first angle that would not produce this dangerous effect?

Ra: I am Ra. Your assumption is correct. The lesser angle may be any angle less than 70°.

And in 68.22, Ra mentioned that a pyramid placed under the head and pillow could energize a person:

Questioner: You mentioned that an energizing spiral is emitted from the top of any pyramid, and that you could benefit by placing this under the head for a period of thirty minutes or less. Can you tell me how this third spiral is helpful, and what help it gives the entity who is receiving it?

Ra: I am Ra. There are substances which you may ingest which cause the physical vehicle to experience distortions towards an increase of energy. These substances are crude, working rather roughly upon the body complex, increasing the flow of adrenaline.

The vibration offered by the energizing spiral of the pyramid is such that each cell, both in space/time and in time/space, is charged as if hooked to your electricity. The keenness of mind, the physical and sexual energy of body, and the attunement of will of spirit are all touched by this energizing influence. It may be used in any of these ways.

It is possible to over-charge a battery, and this is the cause of our cautioning any who use such pyramidal energies to remove the pyramid after a charge has been received.

This afternoon I continued removing the English ivy from the west side of the house and the south side of the house. I was able to get the ivy from the ground level up to the windows off on each of these sides, and I was able to get the ivy off up to the eaves on the west side of the house. I hope to finish getting the ivy off the south side of the house up to the eaves tomorrow.

What Is The Holy Spirit?

I greet you in the full consciousness of love. We are those of the spirit of the living Christ.

To this instrument’s ears have come questions about who we really are. And perhaps it is good to gaze upon the identity of the Holy Spirit. We do not call ourselves by that name, we who serve as the very spirit and energy of the principle of divine love which is the love of Christ. What we are overshadows who we are.

Yet we will say that we are un-descended into the planes of which you have experience. We have experienced incarnations continuously, for light does not die. We are, therefore, that power of the Logos, which is love, which is active and follows the call for the presence of the full consciousness of love. We hope we are to that seeking soul a mirror made of love.

Upon one person the effect of that mirror may be no action but only a gradual change in consciousness which manifests to the world profoundly in the end, though no action was taken, but only the change of heart.

To another, whose time to hear and do has come, the spirit offers that mirror in which is seen the possibilities wherein love may enlarge, enable, enliven and bless manifestations, your own or another’s, so that out of poverty of mind, spirit, supply or action the full consciousness of love may work.

We, like the wind, are with all who seek the spirit, with all who seek the Christ. Think of us as principles, as living flames which embody love. Then gaze in our mirror. See the love within yourself. And be, in turn, the spirit of Christ in the world.
