I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Q’uo channeling comes from February 9, 1986:

I am Q’uo. I greet you in the love and in the light of our infinite Creator. It is a privilege to be allowed to share our thoughts with you at this time and we thank you and bless you with all our hearts. We wish to reassure especially the one known as C that our brothers and sisters of Hatonn are overshadowing this contact in order to aid this instrument especially in deepening the state of meditation to the appropriate level for our contact which is somewhat more narrow band, as you might call it than some. Because of this there will be the energy of Hatonn present in the room, and we trust each may use that vibration to aid in the clarity of meditation achieved by each.

It is interesting that Q’uo mentions that those of Hatonn are overshadowing this contact as we eventually learned that Hatonn was part of the principle of Q’uo along with Latwii and those of Ra. The entity “C”, by the way is Carla, and Q’uo wanted her to know that Hatonn was helping her get to the appropriate level of meditation to be able to channel them. It is also interesting that Q’uo needed to deepen Carla’s state of meditation because their contact was more “narrow band”, which was the way that Ra described their contact with Carla in 1.0:

I have not spoken through this instrument before. We had to wait until she was precisely tuned, as we send a narrow band vibration.

We would speak with you this evening upon love. It will not seem at first as if we are talking about love, for what we wish to do is gaze with a clear eye at what many among your peoples call phenomena. The more obvious of these phenomena are those so-called occult arts of astrology, Tarot, and those who work within the trance state in inner level work as opposed to the work with those influences which are external to your planetary sphere.

Q’uo began by saying that their message in this session was about love, but first they wanted to take a look at some areas that seekers might find interesting such as astrology, Tarot, and work within the trance state in inner level work which they referred to as “phenomena” which are those influences “external to” our planet which I am assuming are the astrological implications of various planets and galactic energies.

We would not wish to discredit either the art itself or its reality, if we may use that term within an illusion. The energies or vibrations, much like waves upon a pond, which emanate from your whirling spheres, especially those relatively close to you, as you whirl about upon your island home, enter the planetary energy web at certain points which may be calculated by those with the bent and the time for such calculation. Further, these instreaming energies affect each entity upon the planet in an unique fashion. Therefore, there is validity in prophecy by astrology, nor would we wish to deny any other form of prophecy of a personal nature which an entity may find helpful.

In this paragraph Q’uo seems to be giving a certain amount of credit to astrology as to its ability to be able to use the energy web of the planet and other planetary influences near the Earth to predict certain events for the seeker which might be helpful in viewing its spiritual path. In 88.23, Ra described how astrology may be useful to the spiritual seeker:

The value of that which you call astrology is significant when used by those initiated entities which understand, if you will pardon the misnomer, the sometimes intricate considerations of the Law of Confusion. As each planetary influence enters the energy web of your sphere those upon the sphere are moved much as the moon which moves about your sphere moves the waters upon your deeps. Your own nature is water in that you as mind/body/spirit complexes are easily impressed and moved. Indeed, this is the very fiber and nature of your journey and vigil in this density: to not only be moved but to instruct yourself as to the preferred manner of your movement in mind, body, and spirit.

However, we would like to examine the situation where one gives information and another receives it. The one giving information is doing so in one of several ways. By this we mean that it is not necessarily a sign of spiritual advancement, as this instrument would say, that one is able to use some means such as astrology or cards to tune in to the planetary energy web’s emanations as they impinge upon an entity. It is rather an indication that such an entity as you may call psychic has in its past incarnations worked in these areas. One would not consider, for instance, a world-class pianist to be spiritually advanced, although the depth of emotions which such an artist may offer his audience may be a spiritual experience far too deep for words. Such transcendent talents are the result of more than one incarnation spent in the development of that particular characteristic.

Then Q’uo goes deeper in describing how one who is psychic can tune into the energy web of Earth to give a seeker information concerning its past or future, but being psychic is not necessarily a sign of being spiritually oriented. Ra was also not a fan of astrology and whenever an astrological facet of one of the Major Arcana was questioned upon Ra would ask that we remove it as they said in 92.29:

Questioner: Was the symbol on the front of the Priestess’ shirt given by Ra?

Ra: I am Ra. The crux ansata is the correct symbol. The addition and slight distortion of this symbol thereby is astrological and may be released from its stricture.

“Phenomena” is another way of saying “things.” It would be a poor argument indeed to debate the possibility that spiritual advancement is aided by things. We speak to you thusly because we are concerned to notice that there is within the community of those who seek the emphasis on knowledge of the near future, knowledge of one’s past before birth—in other words, knowledge of things. The spiritual stance cannot depend upon any thing. It is, we feel, natural and comfortable that one with the talent for some sort of phenomenon to share it with those who request it. In this way such an entity is being of service to the best of his ability. But to live one’s life as a seeker, dependence upon any thing outside the self is to have denied the self the greatest opportunity for learning that there is, and that is the untutored and unbiased circumstance. In other words, we suggest that it is one’s instantaneous reaction or action to or in the face of circumstances wherein the great opportunity for spiritual evolution lies.

So here Q’uo is beginning to move toward the areas of a seeker’s life that are more spiritually oriented than “things” like astrology and reading tarot cards which deal with the past or the future as tools for explanation of events that are not as spiritually relevant in the seeker’s life as the seeker’s reaction to the present moment. Ra also had an appreciation of the present moment that they mentioned when speaking of the Major Arcana of the tarot in 88.23:

In and of themselves, the Major Arcana have no rightful place in divination but, rather, are tools for the further knowledge of the self by the self for the purpose of entering a more profoundly, acutely realized present moment.

Let us look then not from the standpoint of the one who receives prophecy but one who generates it. Each within this room has generated spiritual material for the use of other seekers. Each therefore has accomplished a phenomenon known as channeling. We do not need to tell each of you that this in no way distinguishes any channel as one spiritually advanced because of its skill at being a channel.

In this paragraph Q’uo also suggests that a person who serves as a channel is not necessarily spiritually advanced. I would suggest that being able to channel does not make you more spiritually advanced than one who does not channel, but each of the many channels that I have known throughout the years here at L/L Research was attempting to follow their spiritual path of service to others by learning to channel.

Let us go further, now that we have considered both the one who receives prophecy and the one who generates it, and consider the things, the phenomena of the illusion in which you dwell. This instrument has spent a significant portion of its intellectual concern during the past twenty-four hours, your day, considering how much it desires to do a thing that will brand it as one who cares. This instrument has considered that it would be a valuable thing to do. That which this instrument wishes to do is to walk for the cause of peace for many of your months, and we say to this instrument and to all who feel that the great quest is best taken as a literal journey that neither this nor any other thing will necessarily make an entity progress spiritually or be in any way more polarized towards service to others or service to self.

Now Q’uo mentions how much Carla would like to do what Peace Pilgrim did and walk for the cause of peace owning only the clothes on her back, eating only when offered food, and walking across the United States six times for the cause of peace. And Q’uo suggests this desire is also will not offer a spiritual value to Carla, but I would have to disagree with Q’uo on this point because I think that supporting the cause of world peace is a valuable service.

To be more extreme, one may consider those who give all that they have to the poor, thus becoming poor. One may consider an entity who makes a great sacrifice in order that it may advance spiritually. The phenomena of your experience revolve about such insubstantial words as power, glory, money and so forth and because seekers dwell within a physical illusion of this certain type in which outer things are seen, a fruit is seen, but the originator or planter or cultivator are not. It is not surprising that entities wish to do things to both express and encourage spirituality.

Q’uo also suggests that donating to the poor only glorifies “power, glory, and money” and still falls short of being spiritual in nature, but, again, I would have to disagree with Q’uo because I think that giving money to people who are poor is another way of being of service to others. Now I have disagreed with the last three statements that Q’uo has made, and I don’t think that Q’uo would mind that because for years each Confederation channel that we have worked with, Q’uo included, usually begins their channeling by asking that those who hear their words use their own discrimination to determine which are valuable and of use to them and then leave behind any words that do not have value. In this channeling, Q’uo made this statement at the end of the session.

We say to you that you must turn from the outside manifestations that meet your senses, turn from your own opinion of yourself, your own judgment of the fruits of your spiritual labors, and from any and all prophecy having to do with your probable future, and instead join the great darkness of the sea of mystery which surrounds and expresses the gateway to the spiritual progress. You cannot see or hear or feel or taste or smell anything in this darkness. You are, shall we say, without feedback as you progress upon a path that is narrow because it is only the span of footsteps—there are no things to carry. Why do you think the spiritual path is so narrow? If it needed to be wider it would be. It is your metaphysical feet touching the very stuff of spiritual reality that walk the path of the seeker. There is no luggage, there is no rest and there is no turning back. And so you walk on in darkness, each of you berating yourselves many times for your lack of spirituality.

Now Q’uo begins to give the direction in which spiritual advancement may be experienced by suggesting it is to be found in the “great darkness of the sea of mystery” which is not perceivable through any of our physical senses but which is a metaphysical reality where, once one has begun this inner journey, there is no turning back. I feel that “great darkness” is very likely produced by the veil of forgetting in our third density, and once we have begun to penetrate that veil that we are then on the spiritual path of the seeker of truth. Once we begin that path and are aware of its nature and goal as being seeking the one Creator in all that we do there really is no turning back. I think that is because once we become spiritual seekers of truth we have come into alignment with our pre-incarnative choice to become seekers with a growing hunger for knowing the nature of reality.

How you people love phenomena. But within the darkness that is complete lies your heart, beating without sound, gleaning that light as you intensify and intensify your seeking to the point at which your inner beating heart is manifested as the star of hope, the beacon of faith. Can you then see? You can see the star. At that point that is all that you can see. It does not shed light upon your path but by your own seeking you have planted that which is no thing, but which is a symbol of light, the light that shall shine until there is no darkness, the light that is without time and without space. Footstep after footstep you walk on, lighted by a dim but very real star, a star kindled within your heart and within no other. Walk on in majesty, walk on in humility, walk on in trust, for you are not alone in this darkness, you are not alone upon this path and you are not beguiled or mistaken in seeking light. When you reach past the phenomena to touch your own heart, it is then that you have placed your feet upon the path.

Without this heart, all actions are without spiritual reality, all fruits are withered in the merciless glare of the spiritual sun. You see, the fruit does not become the plant which becomes the seed which is then sown. That is not the way of growth. And yet your peoples so often consider their spiritual path in just such a reverse manner, first looking at the fruits, wondering how to arrange them by asking for phenomena and working backwards to the heart that sows the seed.

Then Q’uo said that once we have begun this inner movement into the darkness we can then open our hearts that give us hope and faith that we can see the inner star that will light our path and we will also be walking with the aid of our guides, higher self, and with other seekers of truth on this spiritual path. Ra had a similar take on how we live in the darkness in our third density but with our conscious seeking can balance our life pattern as they said in 71.7:

The advantage of space/time is that, working in darkness with a tiny candle, one may correct imbalances.

What a treasure your hearts are when they love. I beg you to love. It does not matter that you do not love perfectly according to your own judgment, it does not matter that you do not love all the time. It matters that you see your inner state of love as the cornerstone of your existence, your seeking and your destiny, for this universe is one thing and one thing only—it is love, the creative love—the one original Thought is love. It is within your heart that this love is reproduced so that you become creative also.

And when you are creator, what shall you create? Do not be concerned, for you have planned, each of you, what your service shall be. And you have been given grace sufficient to enable you to do what you have planned. What thing is it that you shall do? Many are those who feel that they are of no spiritual worth because all that they do is work, love their children, and die. And yet we say to you that you may well have prepared this as your mission, as your lesson, as your offering of love. There are those who have come with larger missions, larger in the sense that more entities will hear of the fruits of their particular labors. This in no way distinguishes one love from another, one fruit from another. Insofar as each fruit or manifestation takes part in love, just so each fruit is equal, for unbounded love and limitless light are all that there is. And whether you extend love and light upon your little ones or upon some more dramatic object, you have loved—and love is all that there is.

So now Q’uo asks us to love with our hearts on this inner journey into the darkness. They remind us that this is our destiny: to realize that love is all that there is, the one original Thought, the universe. In 15.21, Ra described this same basic nature of creation being love and light and of all facets of the creation being equal to the other:

The first distortion, free will, finds focus. This is the second distortion known to you as Logos, the Creative Principle or Love. This intelligent energy thus creates a distortion known as Light. From these three distortions come many, many hierarchies of distortions, each having its own paradoxes to be synthesized, no one being more important than another.

We appeal to you to meditate without judgment of yourself or others, to accept phenomena as they enter your life, to use them, to be alert for them, for it is well to receive the many hints that you will give yourself concerning that which you are to be doing, that which you have planned for yourself to do. We earnestly implore you to grasp that this channeling is also a phenomenon, that our words are things. We cannot prove our love to you nor can we say it, and you must realize that our words are nothing but shadows flitting across the inside of your mind. They may be without worth for you and if so we ask you to discard them, to shrug them away and to move on. Our love for you is part of our spiritual path. Your love shall be yours.

This was Q’uo’s suggestion to take what value we could find in their words and leave the rest behind. However, I think they underestimated the value of their words as their words are also full of inspiration and point a direction for our minds to move within our hearts and open them in unconditional love which is the purpose of our third density experience.

May all that is true and beautiful in your mind and in your heart be of blessing to you. May you dream, may you seek, may you love and may you know that you are not alone. The sensation of the air touching the ears of this instrument is remarkable to us. The heartbeat, the dilation of the veins—this is all new to us. We are enjoying the experience of sharing this instrument’s body.

Because we have had to move rather deeply into meditation with this instrument to use it, we shall continue speaking of what we sense through this instrument until we are certain that this instrument is at a good state of conscious awareness of the illusion. We find this instrument’s mouth to be dry. We are experiencing a very noisy environment within the body and we find variations of surface temperature across the lower portions of this entity’s physical vehicle. The energy is not apparent to this instrument as it breathes. It does not breathe deeply enough. It is capable of a great deal more of the deep breathing and it would be helpful for clearing out many impurities for this entity to practice such.

We believe we are now able to leave this instrument. It is reluctantly that we do so, for we speak rarely with your peoples. We thank this group for being of a nature which calls to us. We send our love to you and we leave you in that love and light which is the infinite Creator. We are those of Q’uo. Adonai.

At the end Q’uo suggested that they had to move Carla into a very deep meditation, in order to channel through her, that may well have approached the trance state as it was necessary for them to describe to Carla the condition of her body as a means of bringing her back into full conscious awareness.

This morning I set the sprinkler to water two different areas in the back yard since it has been a while since we have gotten rain.

This afternoon I used the wand and hose to water the flowers along the parking area in front of the house, the gardens around the fish pond, and the flowers in the back yard.

Your Joy Transforms And Enables Others

I am the spirit of the living Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

Many are the shepherds whose joy in their service to the sheep has been lost, although duteously and faithfully they continue to serve.

Yet joy is all about each and every shepherd and each and every sheep. Joy is the constitution of the creation, love and peace its watchwords and its description. The shepherd who has lost joy must needs seek it again, for what one does not feel, one cannot truly express.

Take time to experience the joy of existence, the joy of interaction with others, the joy of giving and receiving, and the joy of sharing. For it is the joy in service that transforms and enables the joy in others.

We leave you in joy, in love and in peace, now and evermore. Amen.

I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:

We come in the name of love and open our hearts, minds, and souls to send love, light, and healing energy to Mother Earth as she brings forth a new Earth in the fourth density. We ask that the infinite love, light and healing energy of the One Infinite Creator heal the hearts of all souls in pain on Earth tonight. May all souls on Earth feel our love, light, and healing energy in their hearts, their minds, and their souls. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Yesterday was the last day of my answering questions from readers as I have not received enough questions to continue in that format, so today I am beginning a new way of sharing thoughts about the Law of One, the Ra contact and the Confederation philosophy that has been a part of L/L Research since 1962 when Don Elkins used information from the Brown Notebook and began his channeling experiment with twelve of his Introduction of Physics students, plus one of his student’s girlfriend, Carla L. Rueckert. We have over 1,600 conscious channeling sessions in our library, and most of them are channeled by those of Q’uo. So, I am going to begin with the first Q’uo channeling from January 12, 1986 and make some comments within the channeling and also at the end to help clarify what is one of the most deep and multi-faceted channelings that I have ever read.

I am [sounds like] Ku-ohl. ¹ We greet you in the love and in the light of the one infinite Creator. We are most gratified that we were able to make contact with this group through this instrument. We are those of the Confederation of Planets in the Service of the Infinite Creator and attempt to serve at this present time, coming from the density this instrument calls wisdom or five. We wish to assert that we are eager to use this instrument and speak to this assemblage but that our thoughts are not to be taken as dogma but only as possible material for thought, as we intend to be accurate in our perceptions yet still we are in the process of learning and acquiring further densities that bring us ever closer to unity with the One Who Is All.

Q’uo began their first channeling to our group with the traditional Confederation disclaimer that their “thoughts are not to be taken as dogma, but only as possible material for thought.” Thusly was our free will supported and encouraged.

As we scan the energy webs about each of you, we find we are moved to speak this—we scan this instrument for an appropriate word—evening of service. You will have to be patient with us, as we have seldom worked in this manner with entities upon your planet. We shall begin.

Service to others is not an end product of meditation itself. Therefore, let us work with the concepts of what the darkness of meditation is. You may see yourselves as a mixture of earth—that is the vehicle and all of its elements—and water, not only that water which is the largest portion of your physical vehicle but also with the metaphysical waters of the deeper mind. When the seeker first decides to set his foot upon the path of finding out what is true, the seeker invites the great seed of consciousnesses, or should we say, levels of consciousness, and this water in turn vivifies and recreates the entity which is seeking. Therefore you are, metaphysically speaking, in darkness, and it is within this darkness that you seek knowledge of love, of light, and of unity.

Consider the earth that lies outside of your dwelling. There is water vapor always in the air about the earth. Deep rivers flow underneath the mantle of earth and spring forth often in unexpected places. When rains come upon the earth, the earth drinks thirstily, and so it is with the seeker. Much of understanding, if we may use this term, comes from the process of seeking within the darkness of inner vision and within the environment of water. This is seeking unmanifested. The only light which is visible metaphysically speaking to the seeker is paralleled by the light of the night sky, the stars, and the reflected light of your planetary satellite. Metaphysically speaking, that star is called hope or faith. It is not a light which ameliorates the darkness but it is a signal, a sign if you will, that light there is and light abundant.

This seeking is a matter of marshaling one’s own will and focusing in a disciplined manner upon the seeking for truth, upon the finding of light. However, within this complex of seeking, there is no outward manifestation promised, no fruits must be born from such seeking. This is seeking unmanifested. There is a bridge between the darkness of hope, faith and will and the noonday sun of manifested service. That bridge is the surrender of the very will which the seeker has been marshalling and focusing, for in the attempt to be of service to others lies the implicit seeds of failure to be of service to others. The harder the seeker attempts to be of service, the less chance that seeker has of being led by inspiration to right service, that is, service that leads toward harmony and the feeling of kinship and unity with the one served.

It may seem a paradox that in order to manifest the glory and the joy which one has found in the darkness of inner silence, one must then give up all human opinion concerning situations, behaviors, activities and personalities to whom you wish to be serving. Yet it is surely true, and the full light of day dawns as the seeker sincerely and completely yields itself to grace, if we may use that term. Some call it quested consciousness, others call it right karma or destiny, but all of these words have connotations that suggest the lack of freedom of will and this we do not wish to suggest. You are perfectly free, each of you seekers, at all times to make each choice in each moment in each way that you wish. Yet to polarize involves manifested service.

So, it seems that Q’uo is saying that to really know how we may of service to others we need to meditate, and within the darkness of meditation there is a light that can illuminate our inner vision much like the stars are points of light in the night sky. This light represents a greater light that will show us our path of seeking to be of service. This inner seeking is described by Q’uo as “seeking unmanifested.” It is the state of our consciousness which is looking for insight and inspiration from a higher source, the one Creator, as to how we may be of service to others. When we seek the light of the stars or the noonday sun we give over our will to the Creator and create a bridge to what Q’uo called “manifested service.” Then our desire to be of service has been given a direction that is most appropriate for us. If we use only our will and desire to be of service, Q’uo suggested that this is much less effective a way of actually being of service. It seems to me that though Q’uo’s suggestions might be more effective in determining the best way to be of service in the overall sense of our spiritual journey, that we could still be of service in our day-to-day round of activities without having to stop and meditate each time that we wish to be of service.

We wish to convey also that we are not suggesting that there is a force completely outside of the seeker to whom one must yield control. The Creator is far closer than this—indeed the daylight is within the heart of the darkness. The difficulty is that words cause paradox and the deeper the understanding, the more plentiful the paradoxes.

Therefore, to sum. The seeker must begin seeking in darkness, and yet when the seeker comes from his sanctified ground and wishes to give glory back to the Creator which appears to the seeker in the guise of other entities, then it is that the seeker yields his conscious will, yields it utterly and completely to a higher knowledge, a higher wisdom, a higher compassion, and a higher intuition. One who has yielded and is moving in rhythm with the deep winds that play about the innermost self becomes touched with radiance, a radiance that is completely positive, a radiance that is the analog of your sun body, and in the radiance lies manifested service.

Therefore, worry not about how to serve. Instead, be disciplined as the earth and water within you become more and more articulated and the star of hope becomes ever more central in your inner sky. And when the moment comes for you to move from meditation to action, yield yourself again and again as thoughts come to you of service to that great fiery strength and surety that is the property of higher will.

Understand that this is a portion of yourself and that you are a portion of it but that it can be made available to your conscious self only by surrendering all hope of understanding and equally all fear of understanding, yielding further all hope of being of service and all fear lest you act wrongly.

Q’uo takes the burden off of our shoulders in determining how we can be of service to others by offering meditation as a connection to a “higher will”, and that would be the one Creator. This is also the way that each of us can also serve the Creator by helping It to know Itself through all of our choices of service to others.

My friends, we hope that we have been of some service to you this evening. We must leave this instrument, for we find that we have not sufficiently adjusted our vibrations to this instrument’s somewhat delicate body complex. We thank you and praise the present moment that we share in the love and in the light of the One.

We are called Q’uo. This instrument does have but a portion of the name we are attempting to transmit, however the naming is never important. We come to you as one who accepts the challenge of Christ as this instrument has challenged us, so we gratefully say, “Yea.” Dwell therefore in love and know that you are loved. Dwell in light and know that you shall be a light, and in that knowing, surrender. Adonai vasu borragus.

For me, the primary nature of service to others that Q’uo has shared in this channeling comes from this paragraph:

“It may seem a paradox that in order to manifest the glory and the joy which one has found in the darkness of inner silence, one must then give up all human opinion concerning situations, behaviors, activities and personalities to whom you wish to be serving. Yet it is surely true, and the full light of day dawns as the seeker sincerely and completely yields itself to grace, if we may use that term. Some call it quested consciousness, others call it right karma or destiny, but all of these words have connotations that suggest the lack of freedom of will and this we do not wish to suggest. You are perfectly free, each of you seekers, at all times to make each choice in each moment in each way that you wish. Yet to polarize involves manifested service.”

In this channeling, Q’uo mentioned the state of grace that is the means by which we can allow service to be determined by the Creator that we meet in each entity and then we give over our will as to how to be of service to a “to a higher knowledge, a higher wisdom, a higher compassion, and a higher intuition” which is part of us just as we are part of it. And that “it” is the Creator in each person we serve. In a channeling from December 17, 1995, Q’uo shared more information on the topic of this state of grace:

“In actuality, these times when grace seems to come near and touch the entity are those times when the individual has been able involuntarily or consciously to allow the self to be completely natural, to rest in the center of being and to allow the natural flow of energy. It is as though the self were a receiver that only intermittently worked. In simplistic terms, then, the way towards maximizing the experience of grace in the incarnative experience is to attempt to come to a feeling within of balance. We would encourage seekers to think upon and ponder the concept of self with regard to the nature of the basic attitude that is given as a natural gift by the Creator to each entity, for the maximizing of the experience of grace can be accomplished by increasing the allowing of the self to rest in the natural balance.”

So, once again, Q’uo suggested that this state of grace is that which is within all of us and is a feeling of natural balance that we seek to rest within. And it would be from this inner feeling of balance that we would be of service to others. It would seem that in both quotes Q’uo is suggesting that when we become aware of an opportunity to be of service that it would be helpful to meditate and seek this inner balance and then consult our “higher intuition” as to how to offer service to others. But, as I mentioned earlier, it seems like we could also use our intuition, to determine how to be of service when meditation would not really be possible. Or maybe we could begin our day with a meditation seeking to obtain the means of service for that day by invoking the Creator’s guidance.

This morning I began watering the Flower Fall Mound in the front yard as several days without rain and with higher temperatures have begun to dry out the ground. At 10 am I had my first zoom meet with a group called Dark Matters.

This afternoon I went outside and used my hedge clippers to cut some low hanging Honeysuckle bush limbs that were brought low by the Catalpa tree that the windstorm brought down ten days ago. I also used my chain saw to cut some larger Honeysuckle trunks that the tree service left after cutting their limbs off.

Peace Is Active

I am of the principle of the consciousness of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in perfect love.

Peace, I cry to you. Peace, I offer to you.

How shall you find this peace if you believe not that the spirit of the living God speaks to you this day; is available to you this moment; is a strengthener and a comforter to you in a real way, in an active way, and in a living way?

Peace is, above all things, active, not passive. The peace of the consciousness of love is an active and surpassing peace, a peace that you may feel as joy as well as peace; as power as well as peace; as harmony as well as peace. There is no such peace without the spirit of love.

Peace is not the absence of war. Peace is not the absence of spoken conflict. Gaze within your heart this day and see if you find the peace that passes understanding. If you do not have it, ask for it of the spirit that dwells within and speaks to each who wishes to hear the voice of Christ in the world today.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the question comes from Tanner and he asks: “Where exactly does freewill reside?  And with whom?  Is it the exclusive domain of the higher self?  The unconscious?  The I AM?  The little “I”?  Who’s really doing the choosing? I’ve felt for some time that I’m not exactly the one driving this bus.  Now I’m not so sure there is an “I” at all, apart from the one “I” – it feels like what constitutes the concept of “me” comes to nothing more than smoke and mirrors, a trick of consciousness. I’m sure this is just another one of those paradoxes but the intellect is seeking pacification on this one before letting me move on.”

This is a multi-faceted question, Tanner, and I hope that I can come up with a satisfactory answer for you that your intellect can feel harmony with. As you noted “the one I” that you can be sure of as your basic beingness is the One Infinite Creator as Ra said in 67.11:

“All are the Creator.”

Now, moving down the scale of who you are in 37.6, Ra said that you are not only your higher self, but you are also your higher self’s higher self which would be your mind/body/spirit complex totality which resides within the seventh density:

Questioner: In that case, we’ll go ahead with the questions we have here continuing the last session. You said that each third-density entity has an higher self in the sixth density which is moving to the mind/body/spirit complex of the entity as needed. Does this higher self also evolve in growth through the densities beginning with the first density, and does each higher self have a corresponding higher self advanced in densities beyond it?

Ra: I am Ra. To simplify this concept is our intent. The higher self is a manifestation given to the late sixth-density mind/body/spirit complex as a gift from its future selfness. The mid-seventh density’s last action before turning towards the allness of the Creator and gaining spiritual mass is to give this resource to the sixth-density self, moving as you measure time in the stream of time.

This self, the mind/body/spirit complex of late sixth density, has then the honor/duty of using both the experiences of its total living bank or memory of experienced thoughts and actions, and using the resource of the mind/body/spirit complex totality left behind as a type of infinitely complex thought-form.

In this way you may see your self, your higher self or Oversoul, and your mind/body/spirit complex totality as three points in a circle. The only distinction is that of your time/space continuum. All are the same being.

And in 47.15, Ra said that we are all souls when we drop our physical bodies and move into our etheric body to review our previous incarnation:

Questioner: What does the large percentage of the Earth’s population, as they pass from the physical, activate?

Ra: I am Ra. This shall be the last full query of this working.

The normal procedure, given an harmonious passage from yellow-ray bodily manifestation, is for the mind and spirit complex to rest in the etheric or indigo body until such time as the entity begins its preparation for experience in an incarnated place which has a manifestation formed by the etheric energy molding it into activation and manifestation. This indigo body, being intelligent energy, is able to offer the newly dead, as you would term it, soul a perspective and a place from which to view the experience most recently manifested.

But within this third-density experience, I think that Q’uo might have had the most helpful description of who you are and who is making the free will choices in your present incarnation:

The elements of your own personality may seem to be a seamless whole or a unity. To the psychologist’s or philosopher’s eye, it may seem that each person is, as this instrument would call it, a monad, a complete atomic being, whole within himself. And to a certain extent this is so.

However, the personality shell of entities is created almost the way that you would create the packing of a suitcase to take on a trip. You have packed for this incarnation the elements of personality that you feel would be helpful or that you felt at the time, before incarnation at which you packed the suitcase, would be helpful.

You packed some items that are for your upkeep and your health. You packed some items that would enable you to serve and share your gifts better. And you packed some few seemingly less attractive items in your personality, realizing that you would need a certain amount of these shadow energies as a point of departure and a point of reentry so that you could go beyond your comfort zone in various ways, looking for ways to balance dynamics within you.

Some entities have dynamics which have to do with truth and justice, as opposed to love. Some entities have issues about the dynamic between wisdom and love. Some entities have dynamics with even more complicated structures such as truth, power and love.

However, all of these characteristics that you packed are what this instrument would call integrated rather than unitary. They have formed a personality shell for you but they are actually made up of components, each of which is shared by all beings whatsoever who are moving through spiritual evolution. It is not that you are just like everyone else, for you are not. You are quite unique. Rather it is that your component parts are each shared throughout the system of the human tribe.

Therefore, as you become aware of the various aspects of your personality shell, you are able to see how they have amalgamated in structures that surround each of your energy centers so that your personal or orange-ray energy center, for instance, has a certain individuality that is unique to it and yet which works in harmony with and in concert with those energies which surround other chakras and other portions of your energy system in which various chakras and their dynamics are considered. So, Tanner, I think that your higher self helps you as a soul to plan your third-density incarnations in order to help your personality shell make the free will decisions that give you the opportunity to learn certain lessons on your spiritual path. I hope that this gives you a better idea of who you are as a multi-faceted gem.

This morning I took Bosco to the vet to have an analysis done on his urine as he has been drinking twice as much water as he usually does for these last seven days. Since he has diabetes we may have to increase his insulin dosage to better control his blood sugars. When I got back home I set the sprinkler to run over the Wuthering Heights Mound in the front yard as it has been nearly a week since we got that big rain last Tuesday night, and the flowers on the Wuthering Heights Mound are getting dried out from so much direct sun.

This afternoon I went back to the vet to pick up Bosco who has a Urinary Tract Infection that was causing him to drink a lot more water than usual. The vet said he should be back to normal water consumption within four or five days. If he is not, then we will have to increase his dosage of insulin.

In general, Jordan, bellicosity is a term that Ra used to describe what we would call fighting or warfare. In 24.4, Ra gave examples of bellicosity when they were talking about the warfare that resulted in the destruction of the civilization of Atlantis:

Questioner: In the last session you mentioned that during this last 25,000-year cycle the Atlanteans, Egyptians, and those in South America were contacted and then the Confederation departed. I understand the Confederation did not come back for some time. Could you tell me of the reasons, and consequences, and attitudes with respect to the next contact with those here on planet Earth?

Ra: I am Ra. In the case of the Atlanteans, enlargements upon the information given resulted in those activities distorted towards bellicosity which resulted in the final second Atlantean catastrophe one zero eight two one [10,821] of your years in the past, as you measure time.

Many, many were displaced due to societal actions both upon Atlantis and upon those areas of what you would call North African deserts to which some Atlanteans had gone after the first conflict. Earth changes continued due to these, what you would call, nuclear bombs and other crystal weapons, sinking the last great land masses approximately nine six zero zero [9,600] of your years ago.

There is also an aspect of bellicosity that is related to the use of the orange-ray energy center in the negative sense that is combined with the greed of ownership that has produced human sexual energy blockages in our third density that have caused many marriages to become adversary relationships as Ra mentioned in 31.15-16:

Questioner: Would the Orion group, then, be able, shall we say, to impress on entities this orange-ray effect, or did they… Is this the way that this came about, is what I’m trying to get at. Is this the way these concepts came about on this planet? Because if we go back to the beginning of third density, there must be a primal cause of this.

Ra: I am Ra. The cause of this is not Orion. It is the free choice of your peoples. This is somewhat difficult to explain. We shall attempt.

The sexual energy transfers and blockages are more a manifestation or example of that which is more fundamental than the other way about. Therefore, as your peoples became open to the concepts of bellicosity and the greed of ownership, these various distortions then began to filter down through the tree of mind into body complex expressions, the sexual expression being basic to that complex. Thus these sexual energy blockages, though Orion influenced and intensified, are basically the product of the beingness chosen freely by your peoples.

This will be the final question unless we may speak further upon this question to clarify, or answer any short queries before we close.

Questioner: I just need to know if this then works through the racial memory to infect the entire population in some way. Does that sort of thing happen?

Ra: I am Ra. The racial memory contains all that has been experienced. Thus there is some, shall we say, contamination even of the sexual, this showing mostly in your own culture as the various predispositions to adversary relationships, or, as you call them, marriages, rather than the free giving one to another in the love and the light of the Infinite Creator.

However, as unsettling as that all sounds, in 38.9-.10, Ra speaks of the concept of bellicosity as almost a necessity for third-density entities to deal with when they were discussing the abduction of Charlie Hickson in Pascagoula, Mississippi in 1973, by third-density entities from the Sirius star who had evolved from trees:

Questioner: I was also wondering then if, since action of a bellicose nature is impossible as far as I understand for vegetation, would not they have the advantage as they move into third density from second as to not carrying a racial memory of a bellicose nature and therefore develop a more harmonious society and accelerate their evolution in this nature? Is this true?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. However, to become balanced and begin to polarize properly it is then necessary to investigate movements of all kinds, especially bellicosity.

Questioner: I am assuming, then, that their investigations of bellicosity were primarily the type that they extracted from Hickson’s memory rather than warfare among themselves? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. Entities of this heritage would find it nearly impossible to fight. Indeed, their studies of movements of all kinds is their form of meditation due to the fact that their activity is upon the level of what you would call meditation and thus must be balanced, just as your entities need constant moments of meditation to balance your activities.

So, Jordan, the concept of bellicosity seems to be a lesson that everyone in the third density needs to study in some fashion in order to walk the spiritual path in the positive polarity, but there are challenges along that path that we need to be aware of so that we do not fall prey to the adversary relationships of that could manifest in our marriages or partnerships and, instead, focus on the “free giving one to another in the love and the light of the Infinite Creator.”

This morning I ran some errands with the first stop being at Feeder’s Supply where I bought more cat food and bird seed. My next stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market where I bought some food for myself. My last stop was at Walgreen’s Drug Store where I bought more food for myself.

This afternoon I used the dust mop, broom, and carpet sweeper to clean the upstairs floor and the hall runner.

The Day To Forgive

I am of the principle of love and I greet you in the full consciousness of Christ.

This is the day to forgive. Select someone, another or yourself, whom you have not forgiven and bring to bear the love of Christ which, seeing all, forgives all. Christian compassion does not deal in halfway measures but forgives utterly, so that a new life may be born where hardness of heart had created a death. Open your heart to creative and divine love this day and let it pour through you to cleanse and purify your heart.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the question comes from Michael, and he asks: “I’ve been curious if you’ve had any contact or much info from Carla and/or Don from beyond. More specifically, any detail on their present evolution.”

Considering contact with Carla from the beyond, Michael, in the first year after her passing into larger life, as she liked to call it, I had over a hundred dreams of Carla where we were sharing many experiences that were symbolic of the work that we did with those of Ra and other more general experiences of our spiritual journeys that we traveled together for 35 years. One dream in particular stands out in my mind, and that was on the one year anniversary of her passing. We were in our living room and dancing together a kind of waltz but it was more free-flowing than the traditional waltz. We never spoke a word while dancing but simply gazed into each other’s eyes with a love that was deeply felt by both of us.

About a year ago my two favorite cats, Dan D. Lion and his sister, Chloe, passed away within four days of each other. A few days later I was just awakening in bed and felt Carla’s presence, and I asked her how Dan D. Lion and Chloe were doing. She came to me immediately and assured me that they were doing very well and that she had been with them frequently since their passing. She said that they were with other kitties who had also recently passed into larger life and were preparing to become third-density entities. She said that they were very happy and grateful for the time that they had spent with her and me when she was alive and for the time that they spent with me after she passed into larger life. She said that they felt a great deal of joy for their current situation and were eagerly exploring their new capabilities to have a broader experience of their life patterns. It was a kind of extrapolation of their desire to learn that they had as cats. Their horizons of possibility had expanded dramatically and, still with that curiosity and desire to explore new territory that they had as cats, they were now continuing on in their explorations into new realms of their own being.

More recently, this past April 1^st, on the eighth anniversary of Carla’s passing into larger life, I had a dream where she and I were coming out of a church as the service was now over. I took this to mean that she had always been an Episcopalian and loved singing in the choir and worshipping Jesus as her savior. Then we drove around in our car to find a place to eat. I took that as a reflection of how we loved to go out to eat together on Wednesday nights at Clifton’s Pizza which had a jazz band playing that we enjoyed listening to. In the next part of the dream we were sitting on a blanket in a beautiful meadow on a sunny day and having a picnic. Then a dangerous-looking man came walking towards us, and he had a gun in his hand. We thought we might be in danger, but he passed us by. I took this to be symbolic of the negative fifth-density entity who tried to stop the Ra contact but failed to do so. In the last part of the dream Carla and I were climbing a very steep mountain and she was leading the way. There were strawberries buried in the trail up the mountain but we didn’t pick them up or try to eat them. I took that to be another symbol of the spiritual journey that we took during the Ra contact where Carla was the instrument for Ra to speak through and the strawberries were symbolic of the fruits of our spiritual journey of service to others. After I woke up and got out of bed I turned on my computer as I usually do, and the opening screen was one I had never seen before. It was the picture of a steep mountain with a road winding its way up the mountain which looked a lot like the mountain that Carla and I had climbed together in the dream.

So, it seems to me that Carla’s evolution is one of continuing to be of service to me and a number of other people from around the world who have told me of contacts with her that have been very helpful and inspiring. As wanderers I believe a lot of us are part of what you might call a spiritual family that continues to work together whether incarnate in the third density or discarnate in the inner planes of Earth.

My contact with Don is much different in that Carla and I shared the very clear perception that Don had reincarnated a little over a year after his passing into larger life and was the son of the couple who were my best man and Carla’s matron of honor at our wedding. They had made love a few months after Don’s passing and the woman was certain that she was pregnant and that it was Don. We came to know Kenneth from the time he was a baby, and when he was five years old I took him with me as I drove to northern Kentucky where Carla and I had bought an old abandoned farm at the end of the county road. On the way there Kenneth looked at the big, white clouds moving across the sky in front of us and said that the clouds weren’t moving as fast as they looked like they were moving because part of that seeming movement was created by the Earth rotating on its axis. Then he illustrated what he was talking about by making a fist with his left hand which represented the Earth moving on its axis, and then he used his right hand to create a cloud that also moved in the opposite direct of the Earth. And his explanation sounded a lot like the physics professor which Don was for ten years. A few minutes later he saw a jet plane flying in the sky and asked me the question: “Do you know why jet planes can fly?” Then he said: “Because there is more air pressure under the wings than on top of the wings.” Of course, Don used to fly the Boeing 727 jet plane for Eastern Airlines for almost twenty years. I still hear from Kenneth from time to time and am always impressed with what a sweet soul he is. Coincidentally both Don and Kenneth were 6’ 5” tall.

So, yes, Michael, I have had contact with both Don and Carla from the beyond for Carla and in this life as well for Don.

This morning I went outside and did some weeding with my trimmer in three different locations in the yard. Stop At This Very Moment

I am the consciousness of Jesus the Christ living in the world today and I greet you in perfect love.

“Christ consciousness” is a term used by many, but how many feel that Christ consciousness within? How many seek the Christ consciousness within? How many ask for the Holy Spirit, which is that consciousness in the world today?

Stop at this very moment.

Stop and feel the beating of your heart, the pulsing of the blood in your veins, and the silence that has suddenly come upon your soul.

And then feel the consciousness within that silence. This is the spirit of love, the consciousness of Christ. It is strong. It is your heart. It is your pulse. It is your being. You have but to claim it. You have but to ask for it. The spirit of Christ is your birthright.

We are here. Seek us that you may see, this day, with eyes of love; with hands that serve; with hearts that are at peace.

The simple answer, Kira, is yes, Jesus was a wanderer, but there is so much more to His story. In 17.11, Ra confirmed that Jesus was a Wanderer:

Questioner: Yes. What I meant to say was can you tell me if Jesus of Nazareth came from the Confederation before incarnation here?

Ra: I am Ra. The one known to you as Jesus of Nazareth did not have a name. This entity was a member of fourth density of the highest level of that sub-octave. This entity was desirous of entering this planetary sphere in order to share the love vibration in as pure a manner as possible. Thus, this entity received permission to perform this mission. This entity was then a Wanderer of no name, of Confederation origins, of fourth density, representing the fourth-density understanding of the vibration of understanding or love.

In 17.18-.19, Don asked Ra how Jesus became such a good healer and received a very unusual answer:

Questioner: Then if the entity Jesus was fourth density and there are Wanderers on the planet today who came from fifth and sixth density, what was it that Jesus did that enabled him to be such a good healer and could these fifth- and sixth-density beings here today do the same?

Ra: I am Ra. Those who heal may be of any density which has the consciousness of the spirit. This includes third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh. The third density can be one in which healing takes place just as the others. However, there is more illusory material to understand, to balance, to accept, and to move forward from.

The gate to intelligent infinity can only be opened when an understanding of the instreamings of intelligent energy are opened unto the healer. These are the so-called Natural Laws of your local space/time continuum and its web of electromagnetic sources or nexi of instreaming energy.

Know then, first, the mind and the body. Then as the spirit is integrated and synthesized, those are harmonized into a mind/body/spirit complex which can move among the dimensions and which can open the gateway to intelligent infinity, thus healing self by light and sharing that light with others.

True healing is simply the radiance of the self causing an environment in which a catalyst may occur which initiates the recognition of self, by self, of the self-healing properties of the self.

Questioner: How did Jesus learn this during his incarnation?

Ra: I am Ra. This entity learned the ability by a natural kind of remembering at a very young age. Unfortunately, this entity first discovered his ability to penetrate intelligent infinity by becoming the distortion you call “angry” at a playmate. This entity was touched by the entity known as Jesus to you and was fatally wounded.

Thus the one known as Jesus became aware that there dwelt in him a terrible potential. This entity determined to discover how to use this energy for the good, not for the negative. This entity was extremely positively polarized and remembered more than most Wanderers do.

In 17.20, Don discovered how this affected Jesus and also mentioned the time period that is usually called the “lost years of Jesus” that was a significant part of His life path:

Questioner: How did this aggressive action against a playmate affect Jesus in his spiritual growth? Where did he go after his physical death?

Ra: I am Ra. The entity you call Jesus was galvanized by this experience and began a lifetime of seeking and searching. This entity studied first day and night in its own religious constructs which you call Judaism and was learned enough to be a rabbi, as you call the teach/learners of this particular rhythm or distortion of understanding, at a very young age.

At the age of approximately thirteen and one-half of your years, this entity left the dwelling place of its earthly family, as you would call it, and walked into many other places seeking further information. This went on sporadically until the entity was approximately twenty-five, at which time it returned to its family dwelling, and learned and practiced the art of its earthly father.

When the entity had become able to integrate or synthesize all experiences, the entity began to speak to other-selves and teach/learn what it had felt during the preceding years to be of an worthwhile nature. The entity was absolved karmically of the destruction of an other-self when it was in its last portion of lifetime and spoke upon what you would call a cross saying, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” In forgiveness lies the stoppage of the wheel of action, or what you call karma.

In 17.17, Don asked Ra what the Orion group did to try to cause Jesus’s downfall:

Questioner: Can you tell me what the Orion group did in order to try to cause his downfall?

Ra: I am Ra. We may describe in general what occurred. The technique was that of building upon other negatively oriented information. This information had been given by the one whom your peoples called “Yahweh.” This information involved many strictures upon behavior and promised power of the third-density, service-to-self nature. These two types of distortions were impressed upon those already oriented to think these thought-forms.

This eventually led to many challenges of the entity known as Jesus. It eventually led to one, sound vibration complex “Judas,” as you call this entity, who believed that it was doing the appropriate thing in bringing about or forcing upon the one you call Jesus the necessity for bringing in the third-density planetary power distortion of third-density rule over others.

This entity, Judas, felt that, if pushed into a corner, the entity you call Jesus would then be able to see the wisdom of using the power of intelligent infinity in order to rule others. The one you call Judas was mistaken in this estimation of the reaction of the entity, Jesus, whose teach/learning was not oriented towards this distortion. This resulted in the destruction of the bodily complex of the one known as Jesus to you.

In 17.21-.22, Don asked Ra where Jesus is now and if He would return to Earth as has been said in the Bible:

Questioner: Then [in] which density does the entity known as Jesus now reside?

Ra: I am Ra. This information is harmless though unimportant. This entity studies now the lessons of the wisdom vibration, the fifth density, also called the light vibration.

Questioner: In our culture there is a great saying that he will return. Can you tell me if this is planned?

Ra: I am Ra. I will attempt to sort out this question. It is difficult. This entity became aware that it was not an entity of itself but operated as a messenger of the One Creator whom this entity saw as love. This entity was aware that this cycle was in its last portion and spoke to the effect that those of its consciousness would return at the harvest.

The particular mind/body/spirit complex you call Jesus is, as what you would call an entity, not to return except as a member of the Confederation occasionally speaking through a channel. However, there are others of the identical congruency of consciousness that will welcome those to the fourth density. This is the meaning of the returning.

So, Kira, Jesus was indeed a Wanderer who remembered much more than most Wanderers do. Thank you for your question.

This morning I went outside and sprayed the Copper fungicide on my Giant Hibiscus again since there is no rain forecast for the next few days. I think that the fungicide is working well because there are a lot of beautiful blooms in the Giant Hibiscus garden now. Pink, red, and white so far. While I was outside I decided to do some weeding as recent heavy rains have made it easier to pull weeds out of the ground in some areas. When I got back inside I continued working on Chapter Three of 102 where Austin and Joanna have made suggestion in each section as to how I might add additional information to clarify the topics.

This afternoon I vacuumed the first floor of the house and also did a load of laundry.

How Love Shows Forth

I am the principle of the love exemplified by Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

Many times those who seek the love of Christ with the most effort are those who mistake that love, thinking that it may show forth in one way instead of another. In actuality the spirit of love moves in as many ways as do those sons and daughters of the Lord who spend their lives in many and various conditions.

Love is not merely a strong and vital creative force. It also contains that subtlety which partakes of wisdom. Thus the spirit may appear in a different way for each entity. Trust that, no matter what your situation, the spirit of love is willing to transform each experience, if you invite that spirit to enter the heart of your being.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the question comes from Jonathan, and he asks: “On 5/14/89, Q’uo encouraged us to “remember that you live in a spiritual democracy where each entity is precisely, mathematically equal.”  Does that mean if one service-to-self entity wants something to happen and ten service-to-others entities want the opposite thing to happen, that the service-to-self entity gets “outvoted”?  And would the results be flipped if it were ten service-to-self entities against one service-to-others entity?  Does the degree or purity of polarization for the entities involved make a difference?

Thank you for your question, Jonathan. The way that Q’uo stated the premise in this quote it would, indeed, seem that whether we had ten service-to-self entities wishing for one event to happen and one service-to-others entity not wishing for it to happen, or whether we had ten service-to-others entities wishing for one event to happen and one service-to-self entity not wishing for it to happen, that the majority voters in each case might be able to “outvote” the minority voters. However, I am certain that the second part of your question would also have a very significant effect on the outcome according to the purity of polarization of both polarities. In each case there are eleven entities of a mixture of positive and negative polarities and all of them might have differing purities of their polarities. So, this seems like a situation where there are too many variables to be able to say with certainty what the outcome would be.

However, in another channeling Q’uo once again mentioned the “spiritual democracy” that is the reality for all of us on Earth, and in this quote Q’uo seems to go into more detail about this “spiritual democracy” and what it means for everyone:

Your culture is a very disempowering culture, in our humble opinion. It seems to be bent upon removing from your mind any thoughts that do not have to do with maintaining the status quo of life as a consumer. However, my friends, you are at heart not simply a consumer. Indeed, you are potentially a co-creator and a magical, powerful being, capable of functioning in such a way as to change the true core nature of planet Earth, on the metaphysical level.

It is a real challenge to take oneself seriously when the veil is so thick. Further, it is difficult to take oneself seriously when one makes so many errors, at least self-perceived errors. And yet, beneath the thoughts and the judgments and those surface details of your personality lies a part of yourself which you share with every living being in the universe. You share the consciousness of unconditional love.

This consciousness you have in common with all souls. As the one known as A has noted recently, this is a spiritual democracy. You are precisely equal to all other souls. You are all a part of the infinite Creator. When you are attempting to form a rule of life, as each of those present in this room is attempting to do, let the heart and the soul of this rule of life be love. Let the center be consciousness.

What is consciousness? In your spiritual writings, there are various ways of looking at what the ground of being really is. In this instrument’s Christian faith the ground of being is embodied in a person, the person of Jesus the Christ. And this entity carries in his story the vibration of unconditional love in a way that anyone can understand, at least in the broad strokes of giving up one’s life in order to serve others and to make life richer for others.

Again, you see the importance and the sacredness of this catalyst that you receive in life. Many times within each person’s life, there is that feeling of being on the cross and suffering. Remember the rest of the story, my friends, when you feel that way. Christ-consciousness does not stay upon the cross of sacrifice but rather, having accepted that sacrifice which is inherent in growth, transformation and service, the entity known as Jesus the Christ soared to the heaven worlds.

And so may you, as you experience that feeling of being on the cross, that feeling of suffering. Yet you are also consciousness. And consciousness can help you to soar. Consequently, there is tremendous power in your being able to remember, whatever the details of your rule of life, that the very center and heart of your practice is the stunning awareness and constant remembrance of who you are. You are the one infinite Creator in a very young and very untaught form. You are gaining experience. You are beginning to create for yourself, within this incarnation, more and more of a solid feeling of who you are and why you are here. Q’uo, April 22, 2007.

So, Jonathan, it seems like no matter what one’s choice of polarity that all desires can be met by the realization that we are all the Creator. We all have the ability and right to use our consciousness to have our wishes met and our dreams come true. Eventually all of us of both polarities will achieve that unity with everyone else and the one infinite Creator.

This morning I cleaned the filters in the fish pond while I pumped out a quarter of the water and refilled the pond with fresh water. While the pond was refilling with fresh water I used my trimmer to trim weeds out of the Ruins Mound and the Astilbe Garden in the back yard.

This afternoon I ran a couple of errands with my first stop being Paul’s Fruit Market where I bought some food for myself. Then I stopped at Walgreen’s Drug Store where I picked up a prescription, bought some ice cream, coconut water, and Kleenexes. When I got back the sump pump technician came by to take a look at my large sump pump which seems to need some attention. He has it fixed so that it will come on by itself rather than by my having to move the float in order to get the pump to come on during the heavy rain storm we had on Tuesday night. If I hadn’t been home or hadn’t gone down into the basement that night my basement would have flooded.

Open To Radiance

I am the great principle of love unbounded, the love of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in that unconditional and sacred emotion.

Dawn has thrust its rosy fingers into the night and pulled up the sun to make morning come. And now, as the mist of dawn burns away and another day begins, the sun above is radiant and generous, beaming its warmth and comfort upon all, regardless of each entity’s condition.

You are this principle, potentially, within this little lifetime that you now experience. You have within you a door to open to radiance, a door to open to the principle of unconditional and sacramental love.

Are you worthy of such love? This is not a question for you to ask. Rather have faith that love loves unconditionally and causes the unworthy one to be worthy. Know that you are in a state of forgiveness and allow the radiance of the most divine love to shine forth from you this day.

As you move through a world of shadow and sham, be the light that is true and real. You cannot make of yourself an inspiration of light and love. You can, of yourself, will to be and to manifest the love which pours through you and, as a channel, which you may pour forth in turn. We encourage you to be radiant this day, to feel the love and the peace which is yours and all entities’, now and ever.

Thusly each may support each including the support of self by humble love of self as Creator.” Then she asks “What is it like to be a creator? What does it feel like? How do we cultivate that moment by moment on a daily basis? 

To begin with, Leah, I would like to share the full quote from Ra that was given to us before Carla was to have surgery within the next couple of days.

Questioner: You probably can’t answer this, but are there any suggestions you could give with respect to the instrument’s coming hospital experience that could be of benefit for her?

Ra: I am Ra. We may make one suggestion and leave the remainder with the Creator. It is well for each to realize its self as the Creator. Thusly each may support each including the support of self by humble love of self as Creator.

So, Ra was recommending that if Carla could realize herself as the Creator, and if Don and I could also support Carla as seeing ourselves and her as the Creator, that her surgery could be more successful. As a further elaboration of this concept I would like to share what Ra had to say about healing in 4.20:

Questioner: My objective is primarily to discover more of the Law of One, and [it would] be very helpful to discover techniques of healing. I am aware of your problem with respect to free will. Can you make… You cannot make suggestions, so I will ask you if you can state the Law of One and the laws of healing to me?

Ra: I am Ra. The Law of One, though beyond the limitations of name, as you call vibratory sound complexes, may be approximated by stating that all things are one, that there is no polarity, no right or wrong, no disharmony, but only identity. All is one, and that one is love/light, light/love, the Infinite Creator.

One of the primal distortions of the Law of One is that of healing. Healing occurs when a mind/body/spirit complex realizes, deep within itself, the Law of One; that is, that there is no disharmony, no imperfection; that all is complete and whole and perfect. Thus, the intelligent infinity within this mind/body/spirit complex re-forms the illusion of body, mind, or spirit to a form congruent with the Law of One. The healer acts as energizer or catalyst for this completely individual process.

Here Ra is saying that what it feels like to be the Creator is that we feel “complete and whole and perfect.” There is “no disharmony, no imperfection.” So, if we can realize this feeling of perfection deep within us, this realization allows the intelligent infinity, or Creator, within us to heal us and make us whole and perfect. I would think that the means of this realization would be through meditation as Ra suggested in 49.8:

The passive meditation involving the clearing of the mind, the emptying of the mental jumble which is characteristic of mind complex activity among your peoples, is efficacious for those whose goal is to achieve an inner silence as a base from which to listen to the Creator. This is an useful and helpful tool and is by far the most generally useful type of meditation as opposed to contemplation or prayer.

Q’uo also had some information to share regarding what it feels like to be the Creator and how to cultivate that feeling on a daily basis:

We ask each of you to value yourselves, not because of anything you have done or will do, any grand thought that you have thought or will think, but because of your innate and inherent nature. It is your birthright to be the Creator, and it is your challenge to find that same Creator in all that you meet, whatever the outward circumstances, whatever the challenges of personality. It is a fine thing to sit in meditation and glow with the inner and living light of the one Creator. And yet we say to you, my friends, it is incumbent upon you insofar as you are able to turn from daily meditation outwards into your planetary sphere, wandering wherever you go, trailing the pristine and untouched light that you have received during meditation. Then you shall truly be radiant and those about you shall be blessed. It does not take a group in order to do this, although, as we said, when more than one person gathers in meditation, the strength of the meditation is increased far more than by simple addition.

Pretend for a moment that you are a small child. You walk along the path kicking pebbles and gazing at the leaves on the trees, catching acorns in your hand and feeding them to the squirrels. The sun of childhood’s fall is warm and golden. The path grows circuitous as one gains in incarnational experience. It winds and turns and the golden sun of childhood seems to become sickly and wan under the bruising influence of experience. And yet this is in no way necessary. One may retain that golden childhood. One merely needs to surrender the bruises, the anger, the hurt and pain which have grown up around various circumstances and experiences which seemed quite negative. These experiences are a great deal like old and heavy clothing. They have become tattered; they have done their service and it is time to shed these garments and put on fresh linen and go forth into that golden sunlight once again.

We ask you to remember the lesson of the pearl. The oyster does not turn its back upon the gritty sand of experience; when sand irritates the inside of the shell a pearl begins to be formed. The irritation may continue, but the pearl grows more and more beautiful, more and more lustrous and full of light. Look ye therefore also to the gritty sand of your experiences, whatever they may be, for within that experience is love. And the fruit of that experience is crystallization and radiance if you but choose it. Q’uo, November 3, 1985.

This is the path that each of us follows in the third density, Leah, to know ourselves as the Creator and to see the Creator all around us. The Creator has created the entire universe and each of us out of Itself so that It may know Itself better and that we may know ourselves as the Creator as well.

This morning I went back outside and put another coat of white paint between the trim and the upper part of the garage. I also decided to paint the metal between and on each side of the two car entrances with the same white paint since they were already this color, and it had been some time since they were painted. So now the entire front of the garage has been painted in the last three days.

This afternoon I was once again on a zoom meet with my three friends of 50 or more years. We are continuing to study The Ra Contact and Living Buddha, Living Christ by Thich Nhat Hanh. We had our usual check-in to catch up on what has been going on in our very busy lives. Then we read for about 45 minutes in each book, stopping when there were questions about the concepts being discussed. It was fun to share some inspirational thoughts once again, and I look forward to our next zoom meet in about three weeks.

Your Attitude Toward Change

I am the spirit set apart from the world to do the work of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

Your reaction to change sometimes resembles your reaction to an open or gaping wound. Many negative emotions are stirred. There is the fear of infection and the worry as to the progress of healing. Above all, change is seen as a negative to be endured and corrected.

The spirit of the living God does not have this vision of change. And one who dwells in the consciousness of love shall not have such a negative attitude towards change either. For when one dwells in the world, change is destructive. Yet when one dwells in love, change is sometimes challenging and always interesting and informative.

Your foundation, that upon which you stand, is that which has been before the world was, has endured through all changes, and shall endure forever. You stand on firm ground.

May your heart be at peace. May you see change peacefully. May you embrace change in peace, joy and confidence.

Yes, Ken, I believe that humor was an important part of the Law of One and the Ra contact. For example, in 57.1, Ra mentioned how Carla was able to deal with psychic attacks with a sense of humor:

Questioner: Could you first give me an indication of the instrument’s condition, please?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument is under a most severe psychic attack. This instrument is bearing up well due to replenished vital energies and a distortion towards a sense of proportion which your peoples call a sense of humor.

This attack is potentially disruptive to this contact for a brief period of your space/time.

In 91.7-.8, Ra gave us another example of humor as I was putting a rug over a noisy tape recorder, and the rug tugged on one of the microphones that were attached to the cover over Carla. This caused a problem that Ra said we needed to correct and asked Don and me to expel breath from Carla’s right side to her left side and then re-walk the Circle of One, which was a protective ritual that we used before each session with Ra:

We must ask your patience at this time. This channel has become somewhat unclear due to the movement of the cover which touches this instrument. We ask that the opening sentences be repeated and the breath expelled.

[The microphones attached to the cover upon the instrument were pulled slightly as a rug was being placed over a noisy tape recorder. The Circle of One was walked; breath was expelled two feet above the instrument’s head from her right to her left; and the Circle of One was walked again as requested.]

I am Ra. We communicate now.

Questioner: Were we successful in re-establishing clear contact?

Ra: I am Ra. There was the misstep which then needed to be re-repeated. This was done. The communication is once again clear. We enjoyed the humorous aspects of the necessary repetitions.

While Don and I were re-walking the Circle of One I nearly tripped which made it necessary to re-walk the Circle of One again, and Ra found my nearly tripping to be humorous. I am sure that I looked pretty funny when I lost my balance and struggled to regain it.

And in 67.27, Ra found humor in Don’s desire to be of service to our negative friend of fifth density:

Questioner: Thank you. In closing that part of the discussion I would just say that if there is anything that we can do that is within our ability— and I understand that there are many things such as the ones that you just mentioned that are not within our ability— that we could do for this particular entity, if you would in the future communicate its requests to us we will at least consider them because we would like to serve in every respect. Is this agreeable to you?

Ra: I am Ra. We perceive that we have not been able to clarify your service versus its desire for service. You need, in our humble opinion, to look at the humor of the situation and relinquish your desire to serve where no service is requested. The magnet will attract or repel. Glory in the strength of your polarization and allow others of opposite polarity to similarly do so, seeing the great humor of this polarity and its complications in view of the unification in sixth density of these two paths.

As for what kind of things that I find funny, there really isn’t a particular category of things that I find funny. It’s more those events that occur on the spur of the moment and make me laugh. For example, I was supposed to have a zoom meet with a friend two days ago because we rarely communicate by email since she doesn’t like using it, and she suggested a zoom meet might be more fun. But she didn’t show up at the agreed upon time. So, I emailed her and suggested that we try again the next day at the same time. She didn’t show up then either. I realized that her admitted dislike of emails was probably keeping her from seeing my emails, so I decide to text her. I have an iPhone and Siri is the function that you ask to send a text to one of your contacts. So, I said, “Hey Siri, send a text to Gayle. . .and I momentarily forgot Gayle’s last name and said to myself, “What is her last name?” Siri must have thought that I said “What is your last name?” and she said, “My name is Siri, and it is a pleasure to meet you!” That cracked me up, and I must have laughed for five minutes.

This morning I ran a few errands to pick up some white paint from Porter’s Paint so I can finish the small painting job on the garage. Then I stopped at the bank to make a cash withdrawal. My third stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market to pick up some food for myself. When I got back I went outside to use my chain saw to cut a path through the top of the Catalpa tree that came down in last Saturday’s thunderstorm so that Austin can drive his car through the path and park in front of my truck. Trish and Gary came by this morning to pick him up as they are all flying out this morning to Europe to take part in the Law of One Gatherings in Prague and in Berlin, and Austin wanted to leave his car here in a location where another tree wouldn’t fall on it as we have been having a few strong thunderstorms lately.

This afternoon I used my trimmer to weed the Moss Garden, and then I used my backpack blower to blow the weeds and leaves off of the Moss Garden. Then I used the white paint to paint the small area above the trim on both entrances to the garage. This paint doesn’t cover as well as the dark blue I used yesterday on the garage, so I will probably put another coat on tomorrow.

Yours Is The Power

I am of the living spirit of love which is the fully developed consciousness of Jesus the Christ.

How very un-powerful most feel within their life structures! My children, there is no reason to feel a lack of power. Yours is the power to forgive, to have compassion and to change.

Yours is the power to right the wrong that you perceive, to bless those things for which you are grateful and to give thanks.

Yours is the power to produce within your experience and that of those who mingle with you a sense of holiness, peace, joy and sanctity, all wrapped up in the laughter and joy of unconditional love.

How powerful is the awareness of unconditional love! Never doubt that each of you is a powerful, powerful entity. Cast your allegiance and your desire toward the principle of unconditional love and ask for the Comforter. And as you strive, you shall be comforted. You shall be inspirited. You shall be nurtured.

We leave each bright being in the peace of Jesus the Christ and in His healing love, now and ever. Amen.
