Healthy Use of Power

This instrument has been saying lately that if ever there was a time to be steadfast it is now, and this thought, that you are a nation of priests, that you are a holy people, is along those lines. When you seek, when you learn, you develop a responsibility to share what you know, to live what you know, to express what you know in your daily life. Perhaps it is nothing more than a smile, a positive reaction to a negative situation, a word dropped at the right time, a thought that helps. At a time when it is easy to give negative thought, finding that one positive thought is to work magic.

When people realize their power they become much more effective. And so we would ask each of you to realize the tremendous potential within you. Realize that you are already exerting a great deal of power, so the question becomes, “What is the right use of power?” Where is the love in the situation in front of your eyes? That is the question that brings the most resonance and affords the most magic in terms of being able to effect change. More and more, allow yourself to come into the priesthood that you have so long studied for. Accept the mantle and vow to do your best to run the straight race, to be steadfast with what you believe, to find ways to share those things that only you can share, for they lie within the folds of your personality and they are your gifts to give.

Love one another. That is the heart of priesthood: to love, to bless, to witness to the light. Q’uo, November 4, 2001

Q’uo suggests that as spiritual seekers of truth we have many years of experience in learning how to develop spiritual qualities that are unique to ourselves that we can use in a great variety of ways in being of service to others. We can express these qualities in ways great and small: a smile to a stranger, giving a neighbor a ride to the grocery store, counseling a person who has lost a loved one and is dealing with great grief, giving a friend a place to live while they earn enough money to afford their own apartment, starting a study group that focuses on spiritual information that helps each in the group to progress spiritually, and simply taking advantage of being of service as such opportunities are offered to us in our daily round of activities.

Q’uo went on to say that when we continually seek to use our power in this loving and healthy way we are actually approaching a magical stance like unto a priest who can create positive changes in consciousness for others and for ourselves as the healthy use of power would of necessity require that we open our hearts in unconditional love to flow out to those with whom we interact. I think that we could also see this quality of being a priest as the equivalent of calling upon our higher selves in the magical personality aspect as we continually polarize our consciousness in the positive sense as to how we use our power in service to others. We are all unique in how we may “run the straight race” and use the love that is in the moment to positively affect the lives of others. We must be steadfast in our desire to serve others with joy and devotion to the One which is in all people, and this is how we may give “witness to the Light.”

Q’uo shared another way of looking at the right use of power in our daily lives:

There are also those who are concerned with that called power, which is created in love and in wisdom by the discipline of the personality. When an entity has become very disciplined, the issue then becomes the right use of power. And that may link either into love or into wisdom or into both. So it is difficult to offer one blanket statement as to how incarnations work because there are these three elements upon which it is possible to base the incarnational lessons of a lifetime.

However you set up your life, the idea was for it to spiral, not, as many feel, repeat. Rather, the image would be that of the spiraling staircase that moves upward, and yet, if you gaze up through the staircase from the bottom, you can see that there is that point in the staircase that repeats in each spiral. It is the same place relative to the center of the spiral, yet every time a lesson repeats, you are at a different place in the evolution of your mind, your body and your spirit.

So you are working on your incarnational lesson. You can think of it as an independent study in the School of Life. And yet when it comes around again, you cannot simply say, “Well that’s the same thing,” for you are at a different place in your development. So when it occurs, it is time to take it into consideration as if it were something new.

The benefit of understanding how incarnational lessons work is that when you see an incarnational lesson coming around again, when you see and hear your theme music playing, you do not have to become despairing or discouraged. You can simply say, “Ah, my incarnational theme has come around again. It is time to spend some heartfelt honor, respect and support upon this situation so that I may open this gift I have been given and appreciate it and cooperate with it.”

We are not saying in any way that an illness such as the one known as Y has asked about is easy to take. What we are saying is that even the challenges of an incarnation are gifts to be opened with thanksgiving. Q’uo, November 27, 2010.

Q’uo suggested that the right use of power would include balancing love, or love and wisdom, with the concept of power. These are the three aspects of the magical personality that Ra spoke of and which Q’uo refers to as repeating themes in our evolution of our minds, bodies, and spirits. As each of our incarnations are experienced the lessons, or pre-incarnative choices, bring us the opportunity to use our power in the most effective way to grow more fully into our what we could call our natural selves that see even the most difficult of lessons as being worthy of our time and attention. In this way we may more fully realize our potential to learn from them at each level of our energy body, from the lower energy centers through the higher ones as well.

Carla also had some inspiring thoughts to offer concerning the healthy or right use of power:

That which you are ready to do, you can do. And you can do it so well. You can do it so beautifully. Always trust yourself. Always listen for your own discernment, not the discernment of anybody else. But, every day, start the day by setting an intention, a polarized intention to serve others in your particular way. Everybody is going to make a different prayer. Everybody is going to set a slightly different intention. But the act of setting that intention creates in you a tremendous awakening of your inner power.

And in a way, the right use of power is heavily connected to polarity and to your moving yourself into a polarized position. When you finally realize that you are a powerful, powerful person and that you are actually magic—you are a co-creator, actually; to use Ra’s terms you’re a co-co-creator. That doesn’t matter.

At any rate, the power that you have is awesome and infinite, and when you focus it and when you let loose that focus and you are engaged and you are paying attention and you are there, the world becomes an incredible place. And when you realize that with your power, what you forgive is forgiven, that means you can forgive and it is so. If you judge it is also so for you. So how do you want to set up your universe? How do want your creation to run? You want it to run on love probably. That’s the kind of creation you’d like to live in and you have the power to do that. Carla Rueckert, Homecoming talk, 2010

Carla was always an advocate of the setting of an intention at the beginning of each day as being of paramount importance for the spiritual seeker of truth. This intention to serve others to the best of one’s ability was like creating the foundation of the day upon which the rest of the efforts to serve others would be built. It was the way that we could uniquely activate that inner power that is within each of us.

She went on to say that such intentions to use our unique power was akin to activating the Creator within us and becoming that which is like a “co-co-Creator” with a power that can actually help us to create our own universe of being, of doing, of loving, of giving, and serving the One Creator in each person that we meet in our daily round of activities. What she was really talking about was that the Creator is within us all, and we can activate that nature of our being when we use our power in a healthy and loving manner. This is actually the journey of the spiritual seeker of truth, to see and serve the Creator in all others and within our selves. Each effort that we make to use this power of the Creator in a healthy and loving way becomes another expression of our natural selves moving forward as Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning I ran a couple of errands with my first stop being at Paul’s Fruit Market where I bought some Lantana that I want to plant in with the snapdragons in the front yard that aren’t doing very well. My second stop was at Walgreen’s where I bought some duct tape and some Cascade dish washing detergent. When I got back home I transplanted the Lantana in with the Snapdragons. Then I transplanted the nine Drift Roses that I bought at Thieneman’s yesterday into the two gardens in front of the fish pond.

This afternoon I went to The Home Depot and rented a power sprayer to spray the mildew off of the ramp that leads up to the front porch and also the deck out of the back door. Then I returned the power sprayer and, while I was at The Home Depot I also found two Forsythia Bushes that I can plant in one of the holes in my hedge of Forsythia Bushes, one on the north side of the back yard and one on the south side of the back yard. Then I went to Lowe’s and bought some paint that I can paint the ramp and back deck with tomorrow as it is meant to seal cracks in the wood and create a smooth surface that is easy to walk on.

You Are The Holy One

I am the spirit of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness which is divine love.

Sometimes it may seem that troubles surround you, that your easy path seems hedged in at every turn and filled with boulders difficult to climb over and impossible to remove.

It may seem to you that you are then comfortless. This is not so. The spirit of Jesus the Christ lives in the world this day, this moment, and for you. You are the holy one we have come to comfort. You are the seeking saint we hope to console. You are the doubting spirit we hope to renew.

Share your responsibilities, your troubles and the difficulties of your path in prayer with those of us who love you most dearly. In that sharing there shall be joy amidst hardship and strength amidst weakness.

In joy, in strength and in peace we leave you now and ever. Amen.

Sexuality

During the Ra contact Don, Carla, and I were pleasantly surprised to see sexuality discussed in ideal terms, for the most part, reaching even into the realms of high sexual magic. Our familiar Western religions don’t really have a place for sexuality other than to simply realize its necessity or even duty for human beings. It is recognized that it is necessary to have sex to have children, but other than that there seems to be an unspoken agreement to keep any references to sexuality to a minimum.

The following quote from Ra gives us some background as to why sexuality on Earth has often fallen prey to distortions that most people eventually have to deal with in order to make the shared sexual experience more towards that which is sacred.

Questioner: Would the Orion group then be able, shall we say, to impress on entities this orange-ray effect? Or did they— Is this the way that this came about, is what I’m trying to get at. Is this the way these concepts came about on this planet? Because if we go back to the beginning of third density, there must be a primal cause of this.

Ra: I am Ra. The cause of this is not Orion. It is the free choice of your peoples. This is somewhat difficult to explain. We shall attempt.

The sexual energy transfers and blockages are more a manifestation, or example, of that which is more fundamental than the other way about. Therefore, as your peoples became open to the concepts of bellicosity and the greed of ownership, these various distortions then began to filter down through the tree of mind into body complex expressions, the sexual expression being basic to that complex. Thus these sexual energy blockages, though Orion influenced and intensified, are basically the product of the beingness chosen freely by your peoples.[1]

Ra suggested that the concepts of “bellicosity” and the “greed of ownership” had an effect on third-density human beings of filtering down through the “tree of mind into body complex expressions, the sexual expression being basic to that complex.” Since sexuality is basic to our body complexes, and since the body is a creature of the mind,[2] sexual energy blockages developed that seem to have persisted into our present times. In the following question Don asked Ra if this filtering down of bellicosity and greed of ownership could become part of the racial memory and infect the entire population in some way.

Questioner: I just need to know if this then works through the racial memory to infect the entire population in some way. Does that sort of thing happen?

Ra: I am Ra. The racial memory contains all that has been experienced. Thus there is some, shall we say, contamination even of the sexual, this showing mostly in your own culture as the various predispositions to adversary relationships—or, as you call them, marriages—rather than the free giving one to another in the love and the light of the Infinite Creator.[3]

Ra’s answer was that our racial memory had been contaminated by these concepts to the degree that these sexual energy blockages resulted in what Ra called “adversary relationships” that we would call marriages. That is a pretty strong statement and a surprising one as well.

Now the question becomes, “How can people in general, and married couples in particular, work to achieve this free giving one to another in the love and the light of the Infinite Creator?” Q’uo had some enlightening thoughts on this topic in the following quote.

The amount of sheer energy vibrating betwixt earth and the physical vehicle is astounding, yet it cannot be acknowledged and used nearly so well by one who is working upon upper chakras unless that entity has the patience, the humility and the determination to come into contact with that earth, that soil of self, for the sexual identity is as powerful and as completely unique a part of the individual spirit or soul as any other incarnationally expressed energy. This is the energy which creates a healthy plant, a healthy body—the energy that gives a primal “yes” to being. This is, moreover—as are all energies—a sacred, a holy energy, and the sexual intercourse is as the Eucharist of red ray, the holy communion of the body. This union recapitulates the oneness of earth and sky, the oneness of male and female, the oneness of reaching and waiting.[4] Q’uo, April 9, 1995

Q’uo offered any seeker of truth the path back from the blocked sexual energies that came from the concepts of bellicosity and the greed of ownership. They suggested that we could see our sexual experiences in general as “a sacred, a holy energy, and the sexual intercourse is as the Eucharist of red ray, the holy communion of the body.”Our sexual energies can truly be a “yes” to life, to ourselves, to our partners, and to the One Creator. How we relate to our partners sexually doesn’t have to be an adversary relationship, no matter how contaminated our racial minds may historically have been on Earth. Ra’s third-density experience of sexuality on Venus was a good example of seeing sexuality as sacred and holy:

Questioner: Was the concept given to— let me ask— you say it originated there… was this concept devised for a training tool for those inhabiting Venus at that time or was it devised by those of Venus as a training tool for those of Earth?

Ra: I am Ra. The tarot was devised by the third-density population of Venus a great measure of your space/time in your past. As we have noted the third-density experience of those of Venus dealt far more deeply and harmoniously with what you would call relationships with other-selves, sexual energy transfer work, and philosophical or metaphysical research. The product of many, many generations of work upon what we conceived to be the archetypical mind produced the tarot which was used by our peoples as a training aid in developing the magical personality.

Again Q’uo affirms the sacred nature of our sexual experiences in the third density:

Questioner: I have one that follows up on what’s just been discussed. It’s been my personal experience in this life that lovemaking is a magical ritual, like Holy Communion in the Christian church. And that has been supported by more and more feeling through the years until the point now where I realize not just the pleasure of myself or the sensuality of myself but that it is offered as a prayer to the infinite One. I know a lot of people don’t see it that way. I was just wondering, could you comment on that?

I am Q’uo, and am aware of your query, my sister. As you are aware from previous study, there is a path to the one Creator that may be traveled by utilizing that which you may call the high sexual magic or ritual magic where the energy that enters through the root chakra is built and stored until it is allowed to move upwards through the centers of energy and is released through the brow and crown chakra at that culmination which you call the orgasm. And, at this point the energy then moves into the energy web of the planetary sphere to be harmonized with by the realization of the unity of the small self with the great Self which is the one Creator.

As the small self reaches, then, with this experience of ecstasy, the one Creator begins to reach in return in a fashion which allows the harmonic expression of the creative power of the universe to reverberate in the sine wave fashion within the small self which has offered itself and its experience as a means by which the one Creator might be known and glorified. Q’uo, April 21, 1991:

Sexuality is certainly a powerful facet of our natural selves as the sexual energy transfer enhances both the body and its energy body, which is composed of each of the chakras being activated during the orgasm. The sexual energy transfer can be a most sacred way to be of service to our partners and to the one Creator. We are always free to make our own choices as to how we live our lives and how we share love of any kind with our partners as a means of further opening our hearts in unconditional love and becoming Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning I went over to Thieneman’s Nursery to buy some small rose bushes for the gardens in front of the fish pond. They are called Drift Roses, and I bought nine to fill in the gaps in the two gardens in front of the fish pond. When I got back home I used my trimmer to trim off the weeds in the Moss Garden and got finished before another half inch of much-needed rain fell.

This afternoon I went outside and planted more hyacinth bean seeds in the cross area, under the tall pyramid. Then I weeded the cross area by hand before going back to my trimmer to weed a number of areas in the back yard and side yard.

The Garden Of The Spirit

I am of the principle of the full consciousness of love.

I am the garden of your heart. I am the fountain of joy. I dwell in the midst of experience and no creature is far from me at any time.

The difficulties of experience may seem like many waters separating the soul from light, separating the thirsty one from wholesome drink. And yet the water of troubles is shallow. And with the feet under one, the soul may stand up into good air and see the fountain of life.

Know that if you are in trouble of any kind today, it is a shallow and unstable trouble, a mere shadow waiting only for the heart to pound with courage and faith, that the feet may be gathered under one and the soul’s body be thrust upright.

For truly it is said that man has never left the Garden of the spirit in any but the most shallow sense. A little round of salvation may seem large. Yet because it is a perfect circle you have never been without it.

Emotions

Questioner: What is the difference in terms of energy center activation between a person who represses emotionally charged responses to emotionally charged situations and the person who is balanced and, therefore, truly unswayed by emotionally charged situations?

Ra: I am Ra. This query contains an incorrect assumption. To the truly balanced entity no situation would be emotionally charged.With this understood, we may say the following:

The repression of emotions depolarizes the entity insofar as it then chooses not to use the catalytic action of the space/time present in a spontaneous manner, thus dimming the energy centers. There is, however, some polarization towards positive if the cause of this repression is consideration for other-selves.

The entity which has worked long enough with the catalyst to be able to feel the catalyst but not find it necessary to express reactions is not yet balanced but suffers no depolarization due to the transparency of its experiential continuum. Thus the gradual increase in the ability to observe one’s reactions and to know the self will bring the self ever closer to a true balance. Patience is requested and suggested, for the catalyst is intense upon your plane, and its use must be appreciated over a period of consistent learn/teaching.[1]

Ra suggested that our emotions are a good indicator of which experiences in our lives may be offering us catalyst that we can consciously process in order to further our spiritual progress of service to others. The key to this thought is Ra’s statement that: “To the truly balanced entity no situation would be emotionally charged.”So, when we are working with our emotions, no matter what they may be, there is a good chance that they could provide spiritual growth for us. The emotions can be either what we call positive or negative: jealously, anger, greed, fear, confusion, joy, satisfaction, amusement, hopeful, thrilled, etc.

Ra suggested that we should be patient in this balancing of emotions because our third-density illusion is a very difficult place to be. There is so much anger, separation, confusion, and despair. However, to view this inner disarray as an opportunity to know and balance the self helps life to make sense to the spiritual seeker. Unfortunately, the purpose of life for most people on Earth is still a mystery. Most people don’t realize that balancing their emotions can be a means toward a fuller access to the love in their hearts and the ability to share this love with others around them and, thereby, reduce the pain and suffering that is so much a part of the third-density experience on Earth at this time. So the Player will still have to navigate the consensus reality that does not partake in a conscious spiritual journey in order to help reduce the mass confusions of our culture. That is why it is so helpful to have friends of “like mind who together seek.” This is a concept which Ra gave us:

Questioner: Could you expand on what you mean by that interaction of polarized entities in piercing the veil?

Ra: I am Ra. We shall state two items of note.

The first is the extreme potential for polarization in the relationship of two polarized entities which have embarked upon the service-to-others path or, in some few cases, the service-to-self path.

Secondly, we would note that effect which we have learned to call the doubling effect. Those of like mind which together seek shall far more surely find.[2]

The idea here is that when we join with other seekers of truth to explore the nature of our spiritual journeys we are able to access more inspiration and information to help us get a better idea as to how this may be accomplished. Ra used the term “doubling effect” which suggests that with each additional person we add to our company of seekers we double the likelihood of our finding the truths that we seek. So, we need to join with other seekers of truth on this long journey through this difficult third density illusion to remind each other that there is a primary spiritual purpose for our being here: to open our hearts in unconditional love and service for everyone in our challenging world. Processing our catalyst is the mental discipline that can take us into the open heart.

To begin to master the concept of mental discipline it is necessary to examine the self. The polarity of your dimension must be internalized. Where you find patience within your mind you must consciously find the corresponding impatience and vice versa. Each thought that a being has, has in its turn an antithesis. The disciplines of the mind involve, first of all, identifying both those things of which you approve and those things of which you disapprove within yourself, and then balancing each and every positive and negative charge with its equal. The mind contains all things. Therefore, you must discover this completeness within yourself.

The second mental discipline is acceptance of the completeness within your consciousness. It is not for a being of polarity in the physical consciousness to pick and choose among attributes, thus building the roles that cause blockages and confusions in the already-distorted mind complex. Each acceptance smooths part of the many distortions that the faculty you call judgment engenders.[3]

Here, Ra suggested: “The mind contains all things. Therefore, you must discover this completeness within yourself.” So, it is necessary that we recognize any emotion, whether positive or negative, as being only part of what we are capable of feeling. Ra said that every emotion has its opposite, and that we need to be able to accept ourselves as having the full range of human emotions and qualities in order to recognize our true identity: the One Infinite Creator.

Questioner: Would a perfectly balanced entity feel an emotional response when being attacked by the other-self?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. The response is love.

Questioner: In the illusion that we now experience it is difficult to maintain this response, especially if the entity’s attack results in physical pain, but I assume that this response should be maintained even through physical loss of life or extreme pain. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct and further is of a major, or principal, importance in understanding, shall we say, the principle of balance. Balance is not indifference but rather the observer not blinded by any feelings of separation but rather fully imbued with love.[4]

Ra said the inner, emotional response which reflects the highest degree of balance, no matter what the experience , is love. We, as positively-oriented seekers, aspire to attain this high degree of understanding and balance as we evolve through the densities. For the time being, however, we do well to remember that understanding is not of this density . Any time we think we know what is best for someone else, we can be sure that we have entered into judgement, albeit often with good intentions.

Questioner: I am assuming it is not necessary for an individual to understand the Law of One to go from third to fourth density. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. It is absolutely necessary that an entity consciously realize it does not understand in order for it to be harvestable. Understanding is not of this density.[5]

No matter what we think we are experiencing, we are actually, in the heart of our true being, experiencing the Creator as It is knowing Itself. We almost never see this fact when we are living our lives because the veil of forgetting works so well. Most of the time we have no clue that, even in the most extreme moments of difficulty, the Creator stands before us, and within us, as It is knowing Itself. Each entity with whom we interact is also the Creator and ourselves, no matter what kind of seeming traumatic emotion we are sharing with them. There is no true separation occurring between us. There is only the Creator knowing Itself and, hopefully, at some point, we will be able to see that Creator in our self and in our other-selves.

Consequently, it is simply more efficient to choose the way of the heart, in our opinion, and to see the goal of working with difficulty, not in achieving happiness, peace, or contentment, but rather, simply in continuing to accelerate the pace of spiritual and mental evolution. The energy of the open heart is open ended. It does not attach an outcome. It simply seeks greater openness of self and a greater ability to allow these rising emotions to do the work of the refiner’s fire. The seeker who has faith in the way of love has faith that no matter what comes she will be able to survive it. That no matter how much various difficulties cause suffering and pain she will be able to use those difficulties to refine those rivers of emotion that are rising to consciousness.[6]

Q’uo noted that within each seeker there will be a constant series of rising emotions that will require the seeker to be willing to go through “the refiner’s fire.”As Players we must be willing to see any emotions as means by which we are able to exercise our faith in the unconditional love in our open hearts. All emotions teach us something very important about our self: that we are complete beings.

However, emotions do not stay on the surface for the persistent seeker who is willing to abide with and enjoy the company of these emotions. They begin to have a deeper life. As one feels these emotions again and again, there comes the opportunity, each time the emotion is repeated, to work with that emotion, to embrace it and honor it and to gaze at it to see from what catalyst it has arisen.

When one is persistently fearless with emotions and is able to sit with the self as it experiences an emotion flowing through, there is a gradual deepening of that emotion. Eventually, as repetition and work in consciousness with these emotions begins to yield its fruits, the seeker begins to have glimpses of the refined and purified emotion that started out so highly colored. And eventually that emotion can take one into the archetypical mind, where the deepest of truths may be found.[7]

Q’uo suggested that we are liable to downplay the value of our emotions because they may seem superficial or trivial when, in reality they can teach us so much about ourselves. Our emotional foundation is, in part, a result of the pre-incarnative programming that has made us who we are as an adult. Some emotions may also be of an archetypical nature as each human, at the level of the roots of consciousness, shares fundamental emotional qualities. If we can access these emotions, we have a doorway to greater self-realization.

As we continue to work with these deeper emotions, we often come face to face with our darker side that has been the product of negative messaging when we were children. We were told that we were not good enough to do this or that, that we needed to stop behaving like a baby and grow up, that we needed to do what we are told, or we will be punished and on and on. If we can work with these deeper, darker emotions whenever they surface we can come to know and love that dark side of ourselves, that child within, and make friends with that dark side. While the experience of being rejected by others causes us to suppress or reject certain aspects of ourselves, those repressed qualities linger in the shadows, waiting to be loved. They may show forth in unpredictable and unhelpful ways, as they are a part of us that longs to be seen. In its persistence, then, our shadow self is possessed of a certain tenacity that is also a part of us, and which can be harnessed for aiding our spiritual growth. Q’uo shared this same view of the shadow side of our personalities:

We are suggesting that it is helpful to view the shadow side of the self as the offerer of temptation. We are not suggesting you separate from the shadow side. We are simply suggesting that rather than separating the light part of the self from the dark part, or the higher desires of the self from the lower desires, it is helpful to see that together these two sides of self create a whole. Together the dynamic between light and dark creates that wonderfully unique entity that you are.

In suggesting that you not view the desires of the shadow side as distraction and insidious voices, we are attempting to give you a viewpoint which partakes of fearlessness and non-judgment as regards the worth of lower desires, so called. For every shadow energy can, through the application of compassion and unconditional acceptance, be refined to become a wonderful, powerful part of the self which supports the light.

By giving the action of the shadow side that is upon the surface, that comes to you as temptation, the respect of refusing to stop seeing it as temptation, you gradually are able to reach out to the shadow side and ask it for its help. However, in order to leave the surface of the shadow desires, these insidious voices, and to plunge deeply beneath that surface energy which partakes of judgment, you are honoring those energies and asking them to move into a more purified state.

It is as if you saw a small child who was acting foolishly and not taking that foolishness lightly and saying, “That’s not a good decision.” Perhaps you might think of it another way. You do not shame the small child. But by being unafraid of the child’s tantrums, by speaking directly to the child through the storms of his emotions, you give the child the opportunity to see another choice, another way. If we can continue to give love and respect to this inner child that is our our shadow side, we are loving ourselves at a very important level of our being: our natural selves. We are reconstructing this quality of our being to be made out of unconditional love and service to others rather than the rejection and anger of our parents, friends, and teachers that colored our lives darkly when we were kids. When we do that, we take one giant step into being a Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning I ran a couple of errands with my first stop being at Paul’s Fruit Market where I bought some food for myself and two flats of Impatiens. My last stop was at Walgreen’s where I picked up a prescription and some ice cream. Just as I got home it started raining, and we got about 5/8 of an inch of much-needed rain.

I went outside this afternoon and took the pansies out of the two flower pots on the front porch and transplanted them between the garage and the firepit as pansies begin declining in growth as the weather gets warmer. Then I transplanted the two flats of impatiens into those two flower pots and had enough left over to fill the area on the back side of the Wuthering Heights Mound.

Rise And Be Free

I am the spirit of the full consciousness of love. I greet you in the love of Christ.

Within the mind does each pilgrim bow before the spirit and fall to the knees upon the dusty floor of human suffering.

Yet to the spirit all things are light and love and the holy flame of the principle of Jesus the Christ reaches out to sin and suffering with hand and arm, saying, “Arise! Come and do the work of the spirit, not the work of the bondservant.”

My children, rise and be free, for that spirit which is love utterly commits and utterly frees the answering spirit of the pilgrim. Answer and be made whole, that the light may shine in and through you and that you may, by your light, lift others from the threshing floor of error.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Three and the concept of exercise:

Exercise

During the Ra contact Ra said my nature was one of exercising power, and that it would be spiritually helpful for me to exercise daily:

Firstly, it would be well for the scribe to engage, if not daily then as nearly so as possible, in a solitary strenuous activity which brings this entity to the true physical weariness. Further, although any activity may suffice, an activity chosen for its intended service to the harmony of the group would be quite efficacious.

The second activity is some of your space/time and time/space taken by the entity, directly or as nearly so as possible to the strenuous activity, for solitary contemplation. 99.5

Ra suggested that for my exercise to be most helpful, it could be focused on being of service to our group of three. This exercise could take the form of vacuuming the house, cooking food, cutting the grass, and working in the garden. The fact that I enjoyed doing all of these exercises made them doubly effective as they were being done from a consciousness of love and joy. Ra also recommended that after I was done with my exercising that it would be well for me to enter into solitary contemplation which took the form of reviewing the work I had done with the feeling of service and accomplishment. Now days, since Don and Carla are gone, my exercise takes more of a personal flavor as it did before I had ever met them.

 For all of my life I have found that physical exercise has been a regular and helpful feature of my daily round of activities. When I was in grade school, junior high school, and high school I enjoyed whatever sport was in season and stayed in good physical shape in that way. While I was in college I used weight lifting to become the strongest that I ever was in this life. After I was out of college, and in my twenties, I moved to the woods of central Kentucky and got all the exercise that I needed by building my log cabins, splitting firewood, digging and weeding my gardens by hand, and just doing my daily chores.

When I joined Don and Carla I would accompany Carla on her speed walks, and I had to hustle for all I was worth to keep up with her. Jazzercise was also an exercise that she enjoyed as she also worked hard to stay in good shape for the Ra contact. After the Ra contact I got plenty of exercise for the next twenty years here at L/L Research by creating stone walkways, stone retaining walls for gardens, and once again digging my gardens and weeding them by hand. After the turn of the century and with the interest rates declining on the insurance and benefits from Don’s work at Eastern Airlines, it was necessary for me to go to work to earn money to support Carla and myself. So from 2002 through 2012, I ran my own lawn service and got plenty of exercise cutting people’s grass and doing the odd jobs of landscaping like cleaning gutters of leaves, spreading tons of mulch, cutting down and removing large areas of the invasive honeysuckle bush, and hauling away lots of tree limbs that came down in storms.

Now that I am in my mid-seventies I find that I actually need to work harder at getting exercise as various aches and arthritic pains make exercise more difficult. However, I have found that the best treatment for osteo arthritis is physical exercise. So I think that each of us needs to take a look at our physical bodies and see what their condition is at the moment. Then we need to ask ourselves whether or not we might benefit by engaging in some kind of daily exercise. I think that as we get older we are dealing with a “use it or lose it” situation. If we exercise less as we get older we will find that we are less able to function physically. Just getting around gets more difficult.

For myself I find that doing a fifteen-minute series of stretching exercises seven times a week keeps me limber. Carla and I developed this routine from combining exercises from her dance background in ballet and from my athletic background. Then three days per week I have a modest weight-lifting program that is designed to increase the bone mass in my lower back where I have osteopenia. I also take a walk of a mile and a half each day at a regular pace now as I no longer need to take shorter speed walks, that had the purpose of relieving the arthritic pain in my right hip, since I had hip replacement surgery in October of 2022. I also greatly enjoy improvisational dancing just for fun, but dancing is also a way of increasing bone density plus it aids the brain in its function of helping us keep our balance.

However, each of us is unique in just about every facet of our life experience, and what kind of exercise is best for each of us could well be different, too, depending on your age and your current state of health. Ra made suggestions to Carla regarding exercise that would help her be of service to others when she functioned as the instrument for the Ra contact. From the time she was a child Carla especially loved trees because they brought her joy. She communicated with them by hugging them. So, in 104.2, Ra made this suggestion for Carla’s daily speed walks:

In some ways the walking is the more appropriate exercise due to the proximity of the entity to second-density creatures, particularly your trees.[1]

Ra seems to be suggesting here that it is not just the actual physical exercise that is important, but how that exercise is fulfilling to us as spiritual beings. Walking, or doing any kind of physical exercise, in nature could be inspiring to anyone who enjoys the beauty of the trees, the hills and valleys, the dirt trails, animals, meadows, clouds, the breeze, the sky and sun on the skin. Exercising in nature is like plugging ourselves into the energy of our Mother Earth to recharge the batteries of our being.

Ra also suggested that Carla look to the long-term effects of strenuous exercise that might seem overly wearying in the short-run:

In answer to the question of exercise, now that the intensive period is over, this instrument may, if it chooses, exercise one period rather than two. In scanning this instrument’s physical-complex distortions we find the current period of exercise at the limit of this instrument’s strength. This is well in the long run due to a cumulative building up of the vital energies. In the short run it is wearying to this entity.[2]

Challenging our natural selves to the point of exhaustion can be very wearying, but it produces an increase in our physical and vital energies that can be quite helpful as we go about providing whatever service to others we have chosen as our means of increasing our polarity and following the direction of our hearts. Making conscious decisions about how exercise influences our ability to serve others in both the short term and the long term is an important spiritual consideration. Thusly do we become Exercisers on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life!

This morning I was once again on Jonathan Tong’s Seattle Law of One Study Group to take questions from the group regarding the spiritual journey that we all are traveling within this third-density illusion. As usual, the questions were thoughtful and offered me an opportunity to share what I have learned about the Law of One and how to apply its various concepts in the spiritual journey that we all make.

This afternoon I went outside and finished cutting the daffodils out of the gardens around the fish pond. Then I used my trimmer to cut the day lilies out of the garden on the west side of the pond. Then I used my backpack blower to blow all of the cuttings into the grass where I will mulch them with my big mower the next time I cut the grass. My next job was to water all the gardens around the fish pond. My last job was to see if I could raise the level of the fountain in the fish pond by cleaning the filters in the schemer. That didn’t work, so now I am wondering if I need a new pump.

Joy Upon Joy

I am the spirit of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

This is the spirit’s word for you today: come down from your cross, my children and nourish your faith upon the common ground of ordinary life.

There is the concept of suffering. There is the suffering of the past, of the present and of the future. Yet, the spirit of the living God is with you. You need not suffer, but open to faith and hope.

The spirit of Jesus the Christ is one of comfort, consolation and strengthening. There is no damage that cannot be mended by faith; a faith that brings about the climate of forgiveness; a faith that brings about the healing of all that is broken; a faith in which fears for the future may not live. For fear is a hothouse flower and when exposed to the love of a living Christ it must perish as a weed before the burning sun.

In this light, may you be impregnated with faith upon faith, joy upon joy. To prepare your ground for faith this day, ask in sincerity and truth that it may be so. Ask with all your heart and it shall be so.

Health Issues

Diet

Questioner: Are there any foods that are helpful or harmful that the instrument might eat?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument has body-complex distortion towards ill health in the distortion direction corrected best by ingestion of the foodstuffs of your grains and your vegetables, as you call them. However, this is extremely unimportant when regarded as an aid with equality to other aids such as attitude which this instrument has in abundance. It, however, aids the vital energies of this instrument, with less distortion towards ill health, to ingest foodstuffs in the above manner with occasional ingestion of what you call your meats, due to the instrument’s need to lessen the distortion towards low vital energy.[1]

During the Ra contact Carla had to deal with a lot of problems regarding her allergies to various foods. She also perpetually had low energy in her body due to pre-incarnative choices to use juvenile rheumatoid arthritis to limit her physical activities in the mundane world. By limiting outer activities she could spend more time to focus inwardly on her spiritual path via meditation, prayer, contemplation, and channeling. With these two prominent features in mind, Don asked Ra about the kinds of food that Carla should or should not eat.

Ra suggested that grains and vegetables would be the most helpful types of food for Carla to eat as a general rule. But in order to increase the vital energy of her body Ra also suggested that the occasional eating of meat would be helpful. There was one additional suggestion that Ra said was far more important than any kind of food that Carla might eat, and that was her attitude towards life.

Ra mentioned at one point that they were able to contact our group because of the purity of Carla’s desire to serve the One Creator and because of the harmony between the three of us.[2] Carla’s great desire to serve the Creator carried over into her daily life as well, as she constantly looked for ways to be of service to others. This type of a positive attitude towards the Creator in particular, and life in general, was food for her soul, shall I say. This type of food was considered by Ra to be far more important that any diet that Carla might adopt. This could well be true for any spiritual seeker of truth as well, and Ra suggested this possibility in this quote:

Questioner: In dietary matters, what would be the foods that one would include, and what would be the foods that one would exclude, in a general way, for the most or the greatest care of one’s bodily complex?

Ra: I am Ra. Firstly, we underline and emphasize that this information is not to be understood literally but as a link, or psychological nudge, for the body and the mind and spirit. Thus it is the care and respect for the self that is the true thing of importance. In this light we may iterate the basic information given for this instrument’s diet. The vegetables, the fruits, the grains, and to the extent necessary for the individual metabolism products. These are those substances showing respect for the self.

In addition, though this has not been mentioned, for this instrument is not in need of purification, those entities in need of purging the self of a poison thought-form or emotion complex do well to take care in following a program of careful fasting until the destructive thought-form has been purged analogously with the by-products of ridding the physical vehicle of excess material. Again you see the value not to the body complex, but used as a link for the mind and spirit. Thus self reveals self to self.”[3]

In this question Don asked Ra what might be the most helpful food that anyone could eat as a regular diet. To begin their answer Ra repeated their suggestion for Carla’s diet: grains, vegetables, fruits, and “to the extent necessary for the individual metabolism,” the animal products. In both cases, for Carla and for anyone else, Ra’s suggestion of eating animal products was that it be done as a means of aiding the individual metabolism of the body for anyone who needed that aid. This suggests to me that Ra would normally not suggest eating animal products unless a person had the need to increase their body’s vital energy.

Once again, though, Ra suggested that it was not so much what you eat but that you choose food in order to show “care and respect for the self.” Ra said that this type of reason for eating any diet would be seen by the mind, the body, and the spirit to represent the type of love and valuing of one’s total being that would provide nourishment of a spiritual or metaphysical nature. This approach to eating any food is interesting in that it uses the food as a tool to achieve higher purposes rather than just eating to satisfy one’s hunger or eating certain foods because they taste good. It is also interesting to consider Ra’s use of the word “self.” Given that a positively-oriented entity seeks to view all others as the self, it is likely that a diet that focuses on self-care takes into consideration one’s desire to serve other beings, while balancing one’s individual need for health so that further service to others is possible. This moves into the realm of the Player on the Enhanced Game Board of life and doing whatever is best to do to be of service to others and to the One Creator. Taken in total, I believe that in eating the diet that Ra suggested we are creating a healthier body which metaphysically speaking might also equal an enhanced energy body. So we are also speaking about our natural self that, as we mature in our spiritual seeking, wishes ever more fervently to be of service to others.

Ra completed their answer by suggesting that not eating food, or fasting, was a way to rid the mind of “destructive thought-forms.” The fasting would be carried out until the harmful thought-form was gone. Once again, the body is a manifestation of the mind, where the true purification is sought. In Ra’s words this was the way that the “self reveals self to self.” This suggests that we can use fasting as a means of self-revelation that has the power to purify not only our bodies but our minds and spirits as well. Taken in total, I believe that using food to discover our true selves we are also speaking about our natural self that, as we mature in our spiritual seeking, wishes ever more fervently to be of service to others.

This morning I went outside and dug up the four dead butterfly bushes next to the fish pond and replaced them with the four nandinas that I bought yesterday at Thieneman’s Nursery. Then I dug up the three nearly dead firelight hydrangeas in front of the house and replaced them with three panicle hydrangeas that I also bought yesterday at Thieneman’s Nursery. Then I came inside and vacuumed the first floor of the house.

In the afternoon I went outside and used my serrated blade knife to cut back all of the daffodil leaves in the astilbe garden as well as in the liriope garden next to the fish pond. Tomorrow I will finish cutting back the daffodil leaves in the other two gardens next to the fish pond.

Anchored In Love

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the consciousness of pure, whole and divine love. May you feel that love as these words surround you and penetrate you, that you may begin your day and continue your day anchored in love.

This instrument was concerned during this morning’s offering that she was so irreverent as to make jokes and to laugh with an unexpected caller. May we say forcefully that if the life is lived in the spirit of love, it is a life lived in laughter. It is a life lived in joyful humor. And one who spreads the laughter and the humor spreads the peace and the healing of Jesus Christ, Lord of all.

Are you afraid of the words “Lord” and “King”? Know that love, the very fabric of consciousness, is Lord and is King of that kingdom of love which you seek. And you do not need to seek in vain. We are of the spirit of Jesus the Christ, Comforter to the world today. And at this moment we say to you, “Live and laugh! Live and be joyful! And you shall live sacramentally and in the kingdom of eternal life.”

Balancing Exercises

To begin to master the concept of mental discipline it is necessary to examine the self. The polarity of your dimension must be internalized. Where you find patience within your mind you must consciously find the corresponding impatience and vice versa. Each thought that a being has, has in its turn an antithesis. The disciplines of the mind involve, first of all, identifying both those things of which you approve and those things of which you disapprove within yourself, and then balancing each and every positive and negative charge with its equal. The mind contains all things. Therefore, you must discover this completeness within yourself.

The second mental discipline is acceptance of the completeness within your consciousness. It is not for a being of polarity in the physical consciousness to pick and choose among attributes, thus building the roles that cause blockages and confusions in the already-distorted mind complex. Each acceptance smooths part of the many distortions that the faculty you call judgment engenders.

The third discipline of the mind is a repetition of the first but with the gaze outward towards the fellow entities that it meets. In each entity there exists completeness. Thus, the ability to understand each balance is necessary. When you view patience, you are responsible for mirroring in your mental understanding patience/impatience. When you view impatience, it is necessary for your mental configuration of understanding to be impatience/patience. We use this as a simple example. Most configurations of mind have many facets, and understanding of either self polarities, or what you would call other-self polarities, can and must be understood as subtle work.

The next step is the acceptance of the other-self polarities, which mirrors the second step.[1]

In this third-density illusion we grow spiritually by processing catalyst that we perceive on a daily basis and by doing so become more and more able to be of service to others. One efficient way to process catalyst, according to Ra, is by the use of a balancing technique. The following is my personal interpretation of Ra’s guidance. 

The whole process begins with the realization that each of us contains the complete universe of thoughts and feelings within our being. Most of us have preferences as to which qualities we want to express and which ones we would rather forget about. Ra suggested that it is not wise to pick and choose which attributes to accept and which to deny because that just confuses the situation of our being whole and complete. We need to recognize that completeness of our natural selves in order to eventually become a being so balanced that no catalyst throws us off of our center of love and understanding. Ra made this very clear in their answers to Don’s two questions:

Questioner: Would a perfectly balanced entity feel an emotional response when being attacked by the other-self?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. The response is love.

Questioner: In the illusion that we now experience it is difficult to maintain this response especially if the entity’s attack results in physical pain, but I assume that this response should be maintained even through physical loss of life or extreme pain. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct and further is of a major or principal importance in understanding, shall we say, the principle of balance. Balance is not indifference but rather the observer not blinded by any feelings of separation but rather fully imbued with love. (42.4-.5)

At the end of each day, we can take time to review how our day went. As we look back over our day we note each time that any experience made either a positive or negative impression on our minds and/or emotions that was not in total alignment with unconditional love. Then we can use a meditative or contemplative state to relive that experience in as much detail as we can remember. Next, we can mentally enhance that emotion or quality until it is very magnified within our being. At this point Ra suggested that we visualize the opposite quality of our experience but said that we should not create it. Then we wait, meditatively, for the opposite emotion or quality to arise within us to extent that it, too, is just as exaggerated as the original feeling. The last step is for us to accept ourselves for having both of these emotions/qualities as a portion of the total being that we are.

As an example, let’s say that at one point during the day you were talking to your neighbor about where the boundary line was between your properties. He says it is two feet farther over on your side, and you say it is two feet over towards his side. You argue with him and get angry. You stalk off in a huff and refuse to talk any further.

That evening you sit in meditation and relive that argument, remembering each detail of how the argument began and how it escalated into anger. When you are once again feeling angry, you sit with that feeling and allow yourself to experience its full intensity. After that you visualize the opposite of anger which might be acceptance. Then you meditate and allow the quality of acceptance to increase within your inner field of vision until it is equally as large as the anger. In this way, you show yourself that you are capable of having both these feelings or qualities within your being. Your other self, or neighbor in this case, has mirrored back to you the emotion of anger that you can process into acceptance. The final step is to accept this experience as evidence that you are more than what you seem. This is one technique by which we can allow ourselves to feel and process our difficulties, while also discovering more of our true nature.

This balancing process has as its foundation this statement from Ra: “It is the way of distortion that in order to balance a distortion one must accentuate it.”[2]We seek to balance both the positive and the negative experiences with their opposites so that slowly, over many years of continuing this practice, we realize more of our completeness as 360-degree beings, which is another way of describing the Creator. This is how Ra described this process:

Questioner: Now, what I am trying to get at is how these disciplines affect the energy centers and the power, shall I say, of the white magician. Could you, will you tell me how that works?

Ra: I am Ra. The heart of the discipline of the personality is threefold. One, know yourself. Two, accept yourself. Three, become the Creator.

The third step is that step which, when accomplished, renders one the most humble servant of all, transparent in personality and completely able to know and accept other-selves. In relation to the pursuit of the magical working the continuing discipline of the personality involves the adept in knowing itself, accepting itself, and thus clearing the path towards the great indigo gateway to the Creator. To become the Creator is to become all that there is. There is then no personality in the sense with which the adept begins its learn/teaching. As the consciousness of the indigo ray becomes more crystalline, more work may be done; more may be expressed from intelligent infinity.[3]

Here our natural self is able to further its ability to increase its service to others by balancing and clearing the energy body so that eventually we may become that which we have sought for so many years and lifetimes: the One Infinite Creator.

This morning, in preparation for a pond service fellow who was coming to clean my fish pond, I pumped out enough water so that he could see where the is a patch over what was a leak in the pond liner a few years ago. I wanted to be able to show it to him so that he didn’t use is power sprayer on it as he was cleaning the rest of the pond liner, or the power sprayer might tear the patch off the liner. While he was here I used my big mower to mow the grass in the front, side, and back yards.

This afternoon I went back to Thieneman’s Nursery to buy seven bushes that I need to replace three Firelight hydrangea that died in my front yard and four butterfly bushes that died beside the fish pond.

The Wellspring Of Life

The living wellspring of life comes to each and yet awaits the asking, just as water remains in the pipe until the faucet is turned.

The holy city of God stands with plain streets and glass stones until the seeker within its gates opens those gates to let in that vivifying spirit which turns glass to gem and plain streets to crystal seas and golden portals.

Each seeker already stands at the wellspring of life within the city of God. Yet until the call goes out in full sincerity from the heart of the pilgrim, the manifestation of joy and wholeness cannot be felt.

We stand waiting without the gates for the principle of the full consciousness of love to be asked to enter. We await each call in perfect confidence of the glorious outcome. For all consciousness shall see Christ.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Three and the concept of the chakra system and energy body:

Chakra System/Energy Body

The seven chakras of our energy body are the pathway for the intelligent energy of the sub-Logos (the consciousness of our local sun) to travel from the red ray through each successive energy center or chakra and then into the violet ray. This upward travel of intelligent energy allows us to express greater and greater appreciation and manifestation of the One Creator as we move up the chakras. This is the path of our natural self as we move forward in our evolutionary process. This energy moves more easily through our chakras as we are able to balance the distortions and blockages that our current level of seeking the truth will allow. These blockages can develop from pre-incarnatively chosen conditions which are intended to assist our seeking and serving of the One Creator in everyone that we meet. Our blockages can also come from our inability to consistently use catalyst in a conscious manner as it is drawn to us through the red-ray chakra.

The red-ray chakra is the first chakra to receive the love/light or intelligent energy of the sub-Logos. It is the first primary energy center as it is the foundation of all experience that is to come. Its nature is very basic to our being: that of survival and sexual reproduction. As it is the foundation ray it, it receives the first intelligent energy inflow to the energy body. The activity in all of the rest of our chakras is built upon this primary energy center.

The orange-ray chakra gives us our first indication of having a basic knowledge of and acceptance of our self. We discover here our unique eccentricities having to do with our struggles with self-awareness and self-acceptance. These qualities determine how we interact with others on a one-to-one basis and represent the first sharing of ourselves with others: a parent, a friend, a neighbor, a stranger, etc.

The yellow ray is the seat of societal relations. It allows us to develop a sense of our place and power in groups. It is the second primary ray as it is the seat of our awareness of the self as a spiritual or conscious being. In the yellow ray we blend our orange-ray individual selves with other orange-ray entities to expand our efforts in whatever field of endeavor we might choose with others of like mind such as schools, neighborhood organizations, the work place, the military, etc.

Balancing the first three chakras—whether for positive or negative use—is the polarized work of the self-conscious third-density being. As third-density entities, we may choose loving or unloving expressions of our red, orange, and yellow rays. The more we consciously balance these energy centers so that they may function predictably in a positive way, the more that the Creator’s intelligent energy can flow into the heart, and the more love we can express.  Ra says that our lower energy centers may become as “regularized” as the molecules in a crystal. This allows for the maximum amount of the Creator’s undistorted energy to move upwards to our higher chakras.

Regarding the green-ray energy center, when a conscious seeker regards and serves all entities as the One Creator in at least fifty-one percent of its thoughts and actions, its harvestability is at hand. The open heart also functions as a kind of springboard which can allow the Player to access infinite intelligence and begin work in consciousness in areas such as healing, honest communication, magic, and experiences of the One Creator. The heart center is the expansion of our love and service to others that can then help us move into the higher energy centers which can become the work of the adept.

The blue-ray chakra is the first truly spiritually-oriented chakra in that the love/light energies of the sub-Logos may be honestly communicated in an integrated and outward sense to others. The blue ray is the third primary energy center as it is the first ray of radiation of self no matter of any actions of another, and the Player who has activated this center is a co-Creator who may give and receive clear communications with other entities and from other entities as well as with itself. The blue ray seats the learning/teachings of the spirit in each density within the mind/body/spirit complex, animating the whole, communicating to others this entirety of beingness. Such communication to and from others is a primary quality of our beings that we share with each other throughout each incarnation.

Working in indigo ray, we exercise our faith that we, too, are the Creator. This is a special form of self-acceptance which allows us to integrate our body, mind, and spirit in such a way that we open ourselves to full communion with the One Infinite Creator. The indigo ray is fed by life experience, but it is especially nurtured by the “disciplines of the personality,” those efforts made by the conscious seeker to know and accept itself fully so that it may experience itself as the Creator. The indigo-ray energy center also receives “least-distorted outpourings of love/light from intelligent energy and having also the potential for the key to the gateway of intelligent infinity.” (15.12)

The violet-ray chakra is fixed in that it is the register or the mark of the spiritual progress of the entity and reflects the overall balance of the other energy centers. It is also the ray that is evaluated during harvest, when the entity walks into the light to determine the ability of its energy centers to welcome and enjoy the light of the fourth density. The violet ray is tinged with other colors to indicate whether an entity has polarized negatively (red, orange, and yellow) or positively (green, blue, indigo). Contact with intelligent infinity or the One Creator occurs through the violet ray being penetrated and the sacred nature of all experience is realized at the eighth level just beyond the violet ray as Ra mentioned here:

Penetration into the eighth, or intelligent infinity, level allows a mind/body/spirit complex to be harvested, if it wishes, at any time/space during the cycle.[1]

This is a very profound and basic concept that realizes that who we are as individualized portions of the One Creator is represented in each of us in the violet-ray energy center. It is the summation of the balance in our chakras and, according to Ra, is the “thermometer or indicator”[2] of our being. But when we make contact with intelligent infinity, or the One Creator, we transcend the colors of our chakras that indicate a seeming separation from the Creator and enter into the pure white light that signifies union with the Creator. For that time that we have contact with intelligent infinity we are one with the Creator. Hatonn speaks of this white light of the eighth chakra:

Once all of the energy centers have been energized, it might be imagined that there is an eighth chakra, the crown chakra, which is white. This energy may be seen as either a glow or as the white that brightens and then spins. It is part of the self but also part of all of creation that is the Logos, and therefore may be seen, indeed, in both configurations within the same energy. Hatonn, January 25, 1989.

This is where our natural self reaches its goal of unity with the Creator and “Service-to-others is automatic at the released energy generated by this state of consciousness” as Ra said in 57.33:

The space/time and time/space concepts are those concepts describing as mathematically as possible the relationships of your illusion, that which is seen to that which is unseen. These descriptive terms are clumsy. They, however, suffice for this work.

In the experiences of the mystical search for unity, these need never be considered, for they are but part of an illusory system. The seeker seeks the One. This One is to be sought, as we have said, by the balanced and self-accepting self, aware both of its apparent distortions and its total perfection. Resting in this balanced awareness, the entity then opens the self to the universe which it is. The light energy of all things may then be attracted by this intense seeking, and wherever the inner seeking meets the attracted cosmic prana, realization of the One takes place.

The purpose of clearing each energy center is to allow that meeting place to occur at the indigo-ray vibration, thus making contact with intelligent infinity and dissolving all illusions. Service-to-others is automatic at the released energy generated by this state of consciousness.

This statement suggests that in this state of unity all of our thoughts, words, and deeds reflect the chakra system or energy body’s ability to allow our natural selves to produce a unique kind of enhanced service to others and to the one Creator.

This morning I made an errand run and stopped at Thieneman’s Nursery again to buy more flowers. My next stop was at Walmart’s to pick up more Deer and Rabbit Repellent. My last stop was at Walgreens to pick up some cases of water and Pepsi.

This afternoon I transplanted an Azalea into the Cross Area. Then I transplanted four more Caladium into the flower garden in the middle of the Moss Garden. Then I transplanted two more Coral Bells into the Wuthering Heights Mound in the front yard. My last job was to transplant another flat of Dianthus onto the top of Wuthering heights. All of these transplants were to fill out those areas with the flowers I had planted there a couple of weeks ago. Then I watered all of the transplants with fertilized water. Then I completed the process by spraying Deer and Rabbit Fence on all of the transplants.

True Reality Beyond Doubting

I am the spirit of living love and I greet you in the consciousness of Christ.

We find this instrument full of self-doubt. And it would be impossible to use this instrument were it not that the instrument is willing to be clear, regardless of her doubts. We would ask each to use this as a parable for the life experience.

Of course you will have doubts. Of course you will be discouraged. Of course there will be many things that you do not understand. But the strength, the power, and the divinity of the consciousness of love is with each always, far closer than your breathing, far more yourself than your skin and your bones.

Know the true reality beyond the doubting. Call upon the spirit of the living God, for you live your life not only in doubt but in the certainty of eternity.

Reincarnation

As we know, reincarnation is a part of our spiritual journeys and offers us the chance to move forward in our reunification with the One Infinite Creator as Q’uo alluded to:

You have lived for many, many lifetimes already in this environment or density of experience, and by now you have observed over and over and over that much of the experience that you gather seems to be about love, love expressed in selfish ways and love expressed in service to others and to the Creator. The overall plan, which the Creator made available and which lasts not only through this density, but through many densities, indeed, those higher than are we, this process has to do with attempting to grasp the nature of the Creator. It is our opinion that the nature of this Creator is the nature of one singular thought, and that thought is the thought of love.[1]

Within this third-density illusion it is the goal of every positive entity to be able to open the heart in unconditional love to the extent that this love is shared freely with all other entities and with the One Infinite Creator. As positively polarizing entities, we enter each incarnation with this as the focus of our learning in some way or another. We seek to be of service to others whenever the opportunity to serve others arises, and this will very likely allow us to make the Harvest to the fourth density of love and understanding. This requires us to be able to open our hearts in love in at least fifty-one percent of our thoughts and interactions with others as Ra confirmed in 17.32:

Questioner: In the book Oahspe it states that if an individual is more than fifty percent for others— that is, goes over the 50% service to others, and is less than fifty percent for service to self, then he is harvestable. Is this a correct statement?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct if the harvesting is to be for the positive fourth dimensional level.

Another way of saying this is that, as Q’uo said, we are “attempting to grasp the nature of the Creator.” As the Creator determined that It wished to know Itself, It focused this Free Will desire through the creative aspect of Itself which is Love, and produced the Light that became the fabric of the infinite creation. So as we attempt to open our hearts in unconditional love to all and to be of service to all, we are attempting to see all as the Creator. We are attempting to love all as the Creator. This also includes loving ourselves as the Creator. This is a lesson that may take many incarnations to learn. 

Questioner: Then although many entities are not aware of this, what they really desire is to accelerate their growth, and it is their job to discover this while incarnate. Is it correct that they can accelerate their growth much more while incarnate in third density than in between incarnations of this density?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. We shall attempt to speak upon this concept.

The Law of One has, as one of its primal distortions, the Free Will distortion. Thus each entity is free to accept, reject, or ignore the mind/body/spirit complexes about it and ignore the creation itself. There are many among your social memory complex-distortion who, at this time/space, engage daily, as you would put it, in the working upon the Law of One in one of its primal distortions; that is, the Ways of Love.

However, if this same entity—being biased from the depths of its mind/body/spirit complex towards love/light—were then to accept responsibility for each moment of the time/space accumulation of present moments available to it, such an entity can empower its progress in much the same way as we described the empowering of the call of your social complex-distortion to the Confederation.[2]

As Don mentioned, most people don’t realize that they are alive at this time on Earth for the purpose of accelerating their spiritual evolution and that they have been reincarnating many times to do so. It usually takes quite a while within any incarnation before a person on the flat game board has information from books, personal experiences, thoughts, dreams, and coincidences that spur it on to become a conscious seeker of truth. Once that happens then it is that the Player begins the conscious journey on the Enhanced Gameboard, eventually choosing its path of service and accelerating its evolution in the manner of doubling and redoubling its progress.

When this Choice is made within the third-density illusion to the degree necessary to make the Harvest into the fourth density of love and understanding, it becomes the “axis upon which the creation turns.”[3] The seeker’s work within this third-density illusion becomes of primary importance to its further work in the higher densities. Each incarnation within the third density will very likely be planned according to any karma which the seeker of truth has accumulated in previous incarnations and will play out in the current incarnation in a manner such as Hatonn described:

Frequently, the most difficult problems are, indeed, karmic, but they have to do with a relationship which was in some way unbalanced in a previous incarnation. In that case, we ask that you attempt with all your being to stop the wheel of karma. The way to do this is to forgive. Forgiveness is another word for love of that who seems to be an enemy. To forgive completely is to remove karma from the situation. To love completely is to be free. To love, it is truly said, is to conquer. Therefore, if you find a situation especially difficult, come out of your meditation with the question, “How does this situation look now in the light of meditation?” And with that tool of yours which is perfectly good and for you to use, known as your mind, objectively and carefully search the situation for the lesson you are to learn. If you find it is karmic, then perhaps you know that which you must do. If you wish to progress as quickly as possible, seize that which you think you must do and do it, whatever pain it may cause you at the time.

In alleviating the karma of another, you have shown the greatest love one can show. To forgive is truly to love. Hatonn, October 18, 1978.

Again, our natural selves function throughout a series of many reincarnations that we all use as means to realize our true self as the one Creator. As we progress from lifetime to lifetime we continue to find ways of being of service to others whether we are wanderers here to help Earth’s population evolve or third-density spiritual seekers of truth attempting to make the harvest into the fourth density.

This morning I ran errands with my first stop being at Thieneman’s Nursery to buy more flowers to transplant in the front and back yards. My next stop was at Feeder’s Supply where I bought some cat food, bird seed, and kitty litter. My last stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market where I bought some food for myself.

This afternoon I went outside and transplanted the Caladium, Coleus, Coral Bells, and Angelonia that I bought this morning in the flower garden in the center of the Moss Garden, around the giant Sycamore tree beside the Moss Garden, in the Wuthering Heights Mound in the front yard, and in the garden to the left of the fish pond respectively.

Lift Them To The Lord

I am that principle which comes in the name of the Lord Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

We would focus this morning upon the word, “cherish.” All of you are wounded. Turn to the spirit within and in faith lift up your wounds, your hearts, and your spirits as an offering to the Creator, the Father of all.

Trust in the spirit of love to create within that offering the consciousness of cherishing; of lightening the burden; of lifting the heart; of making a true offering of the self, not just as a wounded self but as a self that is always in the presence of healing. It is a right and joyful thing to do; it brings you no reward but that you have remembered to cherish and praise the Creator of all.

As you move through your day, gaze upon the many chores that seem so mundane and the relationships that do not seem to be happy, useful or helpful. And once again lift them to the Lord, cherishing these seemingly ruined gifts.

For it is in the strength of the principle which we represent, that of divine love, that all these are turned into a cherishing. For you ask for nothing back, nothing in return but only to make an offering of your life as it is, as you are.

You are cherished. Lift your consciousness and you, too, shall cherish the mundane and so change it into an offering of praise, thanksgiving and blessing.

We leave you in the consciousness of healing, completely unselfish, divine and cherishing love; love that shall give you peace, now and evermore. Amen.

Karma

Questioner: Thank you. Would you define karma?

Ra: I am Ra. Our understanding of karma is that which may be called inertia. Those actions which are put into motion will continue, using the ways of balancing, until such time as the controlling or higher principle, which you may liken unto your braking, or stopping, is invoked. This stoppage of the inertia of action may be called forgiveness. These two concepts are inseparable.[1]

These “actions that are put in motion” are the result of both our pre-incarnative and incarnative choices and make up the lessons that we wish to learn within this third-density illusion. At some point in our journey of reincarnating through various lifetimes, we become conscious of the incarnational process, and we are able to program these lessons for ourselves. Previous to our becoming consciously aware of this process these lessons are programmed for us by our inner teachers and guides—and sometimes by the sub-Logos, our sun. These entities assess the needs of our energy body to allow the love/light of the One Creator to eventually flow as freely as possible through our chakras and allow us to express our natural selves in an ever more efficient way. Ra spoke about this process in 54.17:

Questioner: I would like then to trace the evolution of catalyst upon the mind/body/spirit complexes and how it comes into use and is fully used to create this tuning. I assume that the sub-Logos that formed our tiny part of the creation using the intelligence of the Logos of which it is a part, provides, shall I say, the base catalyst that will act upon mind/body complexes and mind/body/spirit complexes before they reach the state of development where they can begin to program their own catalyst. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is partially correct. The sub-Logos offers the catalyst at the lower levels of energy, the first triad; these have to do with the survival of the physical complex. The higher centers gain catalyst from the biases of the mind/body/spirit complex itself in response to all random and directed experiences.

Thus the less developed entity will perceive the catalyst about it in terms of survival of the physical complex with the distortions which are preferred. The more conscious entity, being conscious of the catalytic process, will begin to transform the catalyst offered by the sub-Logos into catalyst which may act upon the higher energy nexi. Thus the sub-Logos can offer only a basic skeleton, shall we say, of catalyst. The muscles and flesh having to do with the, shall we say, survival of wisdom, love, compassion, and service are brought about by the action of the mind/body/spirit complex on basic catalyst so as to create a more complex catalyst which may in turn be used to form distortions within these higher energy centers.

The more advanced the entity, the more tenuous the connection between the sub-Logos and the perceived catalyst until, finally, all catalyst is chosen, generated, and manufactured by the self, for the self.

It seems that our lessons are ideally limited to just a few per lifetime so that we do not become overwhelmed and confused. The cycle of 75,000 years for third density gives us much time and many incarnations to attempt to learn all of these lessons which have as their ultimate goal the opening of the heart in unconditional love for all. Q’uo gave a general outline of this process:

Before this incarnation each of you planned what the shape and the direction of the incarnation would be. You and your guidance system gazed at your soul stream and its balances of power, love and wisdom and you devised an incarnation with themes or incarnational lessons, if you will, using the metaphor of the School of Earth being one which distills and refines souls.

You chose relationships that would challenge you and support you. And, looking at your incarnational themes, you devised situations which were rich in catalyst. Redundancy was built into this plan. You prepared yourself with far more relationships than you would need, just to be sure that, if you kept backing away from a situation that involved an incarnational lesson, you would never run out of replacement situations that would sound the same theme and bring forward the same opportunities to adjust the balances of love, power and wisdom within your energy body.

Consequently, when you awakened as a seeker, you began to be aware of the repetitive nature of these themes. You saw that the lesson that you had put before yourself in order to work on these balances that are so important to your soul stream would be given to you again and again. Q’uo, May 9, 2009.

Since our goal of opening our hearts in unconditional love involves the green-ray chakra, most of the pre-incarnatively programmed circumstances involve opportunities to balance the lower three chakras and exercise them in a polarized way. In general, we will be working to become aware and accepting of our sexual nature, seeking reproduction and survival for ourselves and our species in ways that are self-aware and hopefully influenced by green-ray love. In the orange-ray chakra we will be working with knowing and accepting ourselves as unique individuals with certain eccentricities that we exhibit in our one-on-one relationships: with a parent, a friend, a teacher, a neighbor, et cetera. In the yellow-ray chakra we expand our expression of personal power into the larger group of family, classroom, workplace, and so forth. Eventually it is hoped that we also can exercise our will to choose service to others, bringing this Choice to bear upon the activity of the lower three chakras.

All catalyst that is programmed or drawn to us will be processed beginning with its entry into the red ray and moving upward through the energy body. It will then be our goal in each incarnation to be able to balance those qualities which we expressed so that we may discover and accept that each quality has an antithesis within the deepest portion of our being.

As we observe ourselves, a good goal is to notice patterns of difficulty or behavior in our lives that may indicate a repeated opportunity for balancing the self. These patterns are related to our karma, the continuing actions that are put into motion. Here Ra gave us the basic means by which karma is balanced or removed:

Questioner: You stated yesterday that forgiveness is the eradicator of karma. I am assuming that balanced forgiveness for the full eradication of karma would require forgiveness not only of other-selves, but forgiveness of self. Am I correct?

I am Ra. You are correct. We will briefly expand upon this understanding in order to clarify.

Forgiveness of other-self is forgiveness of self. An understanding of this insists upon full forgiveness upon the conscious level of self and other-self, for they are one. A full forgiveness is thus impossible without the inclusion of self.

Q’uo gave a very inspiring definition of forgiveness of ourselves and of others that we can use to stop the wheel of karma:

Forgiveness is first the turning to a power greater than yourself, and a giving to that power of an entire situation, that you may be given the consolation and the healing that you require in order to forgive yourself, whether you are the wronged one or the self-perceived wrong doer. There is always a lack of forgiveness of the self that seems to be held more tightly than the forgiveness of others. You gaze too close into the mirror of this illusion and your manifestation within it. Your birthright is to be forgiven, to realize each self-perceived error and to forgive oneself for it, and move on.

Thus, you come to a respect, and an honoring, and a loving, and a nurturing of yourself. The key to forgiveness of others is the forgiveness of the self. Release, release, release, give back to the forces of the universe those energies which are easily absorbed in infinity, and leave them not to pollute your own feelings, your mind, or your heart, but rather let forgiveness flow as a sweet river under the surface of all that you do and say. So forgiveness could be considered one of the most important of spiritual practices that we can use on our spiritual journeys. Indeed, in Matthew 18, Jesus mentioned how we could best approach the concept of forgiveness:

²¹ Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

²² Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

So since 7 X 70 is 490, I believe that Jesus meant that we should always forgive any other person for any perceived wrongs we feel were done by them to us. And I believe that we should also do the same for them and for ourselves. Thusly do we stop the wheel of karma and clear the path of our spiritual journeys to move forward once again as clearer reflections of our natural selves.

This morning I changed the sheets and pillow cases on my bed and did my usual cleaning around and under the bed that I always do when I change my bedding. Then I did the laundry which involved ironing the flat sheet that I had just taken off of my bed. The fitted sheet doesn’t need ironing because it fits so tightly on my mattress that all wrinkles are stretched out into a smooth uniformity.

This afternoon Austin came over and helped me to record the Appendix to Carla’s A Book of Days: Channelings From The Holy Spirit. In this Appendix Carla shared her process of the tuning and challenging of spirits that she always used when engaged in the channeling process. I have always enjoyed recording any words that Carla has written as she always had such a loving and informed way of sharing her thoughts and her life pattern.

For the work portion of the afternoon I completed getting the Weigela tree limbs in garbage cans and tied up in bundles for the larger ones for yard waster pickup later this week. Then I used my nippers and cut back the dead Snowball Hydrangea stalks so that the new ones coming in from the roots will have room to grow.

Endless Centers Of Love

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in full consciousness; the consciousness which is all that there is; the consciousness of love.

You sit. You listen inwardly. And your universe contracts as meditation lifts you and silence greets you with profound wisdom. Slowly you feel yourself expand. And you are aware of the love all about you: the creatures that fly and walk and crawl and swim, the very motes of dust in the air, the blessed sunshine or the equally blessed rain giving glory to the Father. And as you meditate, your universe expands even more.

You are aware that you are an integral part of the sphere upon which you live. The world is your neighborhood. All the sunshine and all the rain of all the world are within you; within the heart; within the consciousness.

Then your consciousness takes flight and moves away until your home sphere is no longer visible and all about you are endless centers of love, radiating, radiating, radiating.

And as you expand further, you discover that all of the infinite creation—every star, every planet, every ray of sunshine and every creature—lies within your consciousness. For you and the creation are one.

Now, you are still sitting upon your blanket, or upon your couch or chair. Yet, the universe is now inside you and you feel its balance and its grace. You feel also your balance, your grace, and the infinite love that created all that there is. Nothing is alien to you. All is love. Open your hearts to that infinite truth.

We leave you in peace and love, now and ever. Amen.

We come in the name of love and open our hearts, minds, and souls to send love, light, and healing energy to Mother Earth as she brings forth a new Earth in the fourth density. We ask that the infinite love, light and healing energy of the One Infinite Creator heal the hearts of all souls in pain on Earth tonight. May all souls on Earth feel our love, light, and healing energy in their hearts, their minds, and their souls. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Three and the concept of preparing the natural self for service:

Preparing the Natural Self for Service 

Carla’s goals for Chapter 3: “This chapter tracks the Law of One information on how to deal with the natural self, the body and the emotions brought out by our sexuality and personal relationships.”

Is there an unnatural self?

I thought long and hard about what Carla might have meant by the natural self. It is not a term that was ever used during the Ra contact or in any other of our channeled material, so I had to add to my process of intellectualization a bit of meditation as well before I arrived at a conclusion which feels like it might contain the beginning concepts related to this natural self. When we all come into this world we are born into the bodies of babies that are very simple in their functioning, and our minds also reflect this simplicity at birth. Our access to, or awareness of, our spirits seems to be in a dormant state for some period of time as well. I also believe that we contain our pre-incarnative programming that sets the stage for our maturation and following the path that we have planned before being born into the world. Ra encapsulated this process beautifully in 48.7:

Entrance into incarnation requires the investment, or activation, of the indigo-ray, or etheric body, for this is the form maker. The young, or small, physical mind/body/spirit complex has the seven energy centers potentiated before the birthing process. There are also analogs in time/space of these energy centers corresponding to the seven energy centers in each of the seven true-color densities. Thus in the microcosm exists all the experience that is prepared. It is as though the infant contains the universe.

This is the natural way for all of us to enter each incarnation. We are full of previous growth patterns that have aligned our energy centers in a unique way, and we have planned the way in which we can further activate and express the nature of our first four energy centers in a myriad of ways. Just as our bodies are very small and almost helpless to begin with, so our minds also must be given experience. As our bodies begin to learn how to crawl, to sit, to stand, and to begin to take baby steps, just so our minds have the corresponding opportunities to speak basic sounds that turn into words and then sentences. This type of growth begins to deal with concepts of how we are learning to become fully functioning entities. However, when it comes to the spirit Ra suggested that the spirit might have a slightly different process of maturation as Don and Ra spoke of in 92.18:

Questioner: Turning, then, to my analogy—or shall we say, example—of the newborn infant with the undistorted Matrix, this newborn infant has its subconscious veiled from the Matrix. The second archetype, the Potentiator of Mind, is going to act at some time through—I won’t say through the veil, I don’t think that is a very good way of stating it—but the Potentiator of Mind will act to create a condition, and I will use an example of the infant touching a hot object. The hot object we could take as random catalyst. The infant can either leave its hand on the hot object or rapidly remove it. My question is: is the Potentiator of Mind involved at all in this experience and, if so, how?

Ra: I am Ra. The Potentiator of Mind and of Body are both involved in the questing of the infant for new experience. The mind/body/spirit complex which is an infant has one highly developed portion which may be best studied by viewing the Significators of Mind and Body.

You notice we do not include the spirit. That portion of a mind/body/spirit complex is not reliably developed in each and every mind/body/spirit complex. Thusly the infant’s significant self, which is the harvest of biases of all previous incarnational experiences, offers to this infant biases with which to meet new experience.

However, the portion of the infant which may be articulated by the Matrix of the Mind is indeed unfed by experience, and has the bias of reaching for this experience through free will just as intelligent energy, in the kinetic phase, through free will, creates the Logos.

However, at some point we all are will be able to utilize the spirit more and more effectively as our infant self grows to maturity and, hopefully, will eventually become a conscious seeker of truth. Then it begins the realization of its very nature and purpose in the current life pattern. Its unconscious mind feeds it catalyst that it may then begin to process in a way that is congruent with its pre-incarnative choices and any karma that we have accumulated in previous incarnations.

Then our energy bodies begin to function according to their degree of activation and ability to function and allow the prana or love/light of the Creator to move through them. The energy body is composed of our energy centers that are activated. For most people only the first three are activated because the work of the third density is to work upon the first three energy centers in order to activate the fourth energy center that will allow us to be able to see the Creator in all other selves and choose to serve them 51% of the time and be graduated into the fourth density of love and understanding. However, the adept may activate all seven of the energy centers. So the chakra system, or energy body, is what animates our bodies and creates what is called the natural self.

Now Carla began this chapter with the question: “Is there an unnatural self?” I think that the answer to that question is that there is no unnatural self to begin the incarnational process. Each incarnation offers us the opportunity to travel further along this path, and so much of that path is concerned with how we utilize our spiritual beliefs in pursuing the outer work of living in the material world. Ideally, we will be able to use our spiritual practices as the foundation of our incarnational experience of living in the outer world and eventually becoming Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of life. Q’uo spoke to this balance of inner and outer work:

The model that we give this instrument is the model of an entity who works upon two levels. On the outer level the seeker who wishes to become more itself deals with the environment about it, attempting to place itself more and more in an environment that it finds conducive to the giving of its gifts and the learning of its lessons and the keeping of its promises in relationships and ethical considerations, and in all those matters of personal honor and duty. There is a valid benefit gained by the seeker as it simplifies and regularizes its environment in such a way as to find fruitfulness of self in all of those ways that entities think of being fruitful in avocations and vocations. There is a legitimate outer work that is helpful to doing, and we would not say that one who wishes to move more into the heart of oneself should forgo working on the discipline of the personality, the purification of emotion, and the development of the magical personality. These are just and helpful uses of the mind, of the attention, and of time. Q’uo, May 23, 1999.

When I was a child my mother and father both worked in a grocery store. Dad was the manager and mom kept the books and also stocked the shelves and ran the cash register. The store was one of a chain of grocery stores in Nebraska which were named “Jack & Jill Grocery Stores.” The home office of this chain was located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was known as the Nash-Finch Company.

When I was thirteen years old I got a Social Security Card and began working in the store as well. As the years went by I came to know the hierarchy of supervisors of the various departments on the state level as well as the higher ups from the home office in Minneapolis. I worked in the produce department and did a good job, got good grades in high school, and it soon became expected that I would go to college and major in Business Administration so that I could then join the Nash-Finch Company as a supervisor in the produce section and begin my climb up the company ladder.

I was a late-bloomer as far as being a spiritual seeker of truth, so this all sounded good to me until I finally had earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Economics. At that point, in 1969, I had become part of the hippie revolution and decided that spending my life earning money in the workaday world just to have all of the amenities of comfort and acceptance felt like a most unnatural way to use my time and energies.

It was at that point that I began to follow an alternative trail that began with going back to college to get a major in Sociology, then veer off that course into the National Teacher Corps Program, as I mentioned in the introduction to this book. Being in Teacher Corps eventually gave me the opportunity to attend the Adventure Trails Survival School, learn Brain Self-Control Therapy and become a conscious seeker of truth. It was there that I was able to activate my indigo-ray energy center which enhanced my spiritual journey and inspired me to move to the woods of central Kentucky and start my own school to teach Brain Self-Control Therapy. In essence, I was transformed from being what felt very unnatural to me—the result of my own enculturation—to a path of seeking which felt like the most appropriate and natural thing in the world for me to do. All along this path of maturation I moved ever closer to seeing service to others as the way that I wanted to live my life. This felt like my natural self in action as I had become a conscious spiritual seeker. So our energy body and natural self are inseparable and are the qualities that will allow us to embark on this life of service to others. Our natural self is that of a conscious spiritual seeker of truth, a Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning Jessie and I cleaned all of the windows in the kitchen, the area behind the kitchen, and in the living room in preparation for the Homecoming Gathering that will be underway four weeks from now. And considering all of the transplanting of flowers that we got done yesterday, it has been a very productive weekend. It was great to have Jessie’s help. With The Eyes Of Love

I am the spirit of Him who cleaved the way of truth, Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of love, the spiritual principle which Jesus the Christ lived.

This entity saw all things with eyes of love. And we await each heart that calls to us that we may be, for each, the eyes of love. For as you look upon your day, if it is seen with the eyes of love, it is a perfect day in every way. The tasks put before you to do are those which will be helpful to others or will teach patience and understanding. Those people whom you will meet will feed you with their unique loveliness or will challenge you to find the Christ within the distortions of your mundane world.

And so all things are either for joyous and enhanced living or for serious and persistent study to know the mind of Christ, to see with the eyes of Christ.

Call upon the spirit of love. It was for this reason that this principle was invoked in a personal sense for each and every consciousness within the creation. We have great love for each and await each call with a happy heart.

We leave you in the peace which cleaves through falsity, that active peace which is love, now and forever. Amen.
