also - I have been in contact with various entities via my pineal gland, and they have identified themselves under various names. I am not sure how much of this is just a personification via the subconscious, or if it is the real deal. The information has been quite helpful at times. Can anyone help me equate Ra's "bodies" with ones I'm more familiar with? I've heard of physical, etheric, vital, desire (emotional), astral, mental, and light bodies...but their meanings overlap somewhat. I have no idea what the devanchanic body is--I've studied nothing in the Eastern traditions.

Can you tell me if this listing is the proper number, and can you tell me the uses and purposes and effects etc. of each of these and any other bodies that may be in our mind/body/spirit complex?

To answer your query fully would be the work of many sessions such as this one, for the interrelationships of the various bodies and each body’s effects in various situations is an enormous study. However, we shall begin by referring your minds back to the spectrum of true colors and the usage of this understanding in grasping the various densities of your octave.

We have the number seven repeated from the macrocosm to the microcosm in structure and experience. Therefore, it would only be expected that there would be seven basic bodies which we would perhaps be most lucid by stating as red-ray body, etc. However, we are aware that you wish to correspond these bodies mentioned with the color rays. This will be confusing, for various teachers have offered their teach/learning understanding in various terms. Thus one may name a subtle body one thing and another find a different name.

The red-ray body is your chemical body. However, it is not the body which you have as clothing in the physical. It is the unconstructed material of the body, the elemental body without form. This basic unformed material body is important to understand for there are healings which may be carried out by the simple understanding of the elements present in the physical vehicle.

The orange-ray body is the physical body complex. This body complex is still not the body you inhabit but rather the body formed without self-awareness, the body in the womb before the spirit/mind complex enters. This body may live without the inhabitation of the mind and spirit complexes. However, it seldom does so.

The yellow-ray body is your physical vehicle which you know of at this time and in which you experience catalyst. This body has the mind/body/spirit characteristics and is equal to the physical illusion, as you have called it.

The green-ray body is that body which may be seen in séance when what you call ectoplasm is furnished. This is a lighter body packed more densely with life. You may call this the astral body following some other teachings. Others have called this same body the etheric body. However, this is not correct in the sense that the etheric body is that body of gateway wherein intelligent energy is able to mold the mind/body/spirit complex.

The light body or blue-ray body may be called the devachanic body. There are many other names for this body especially in your so-called Indian Sutras or writings, for there are those among these peoples which have explored these regions and understand the various types of devachanic bodies. There are many, many types of bodies in each density, much like your own.

The indigo-ray body which we choose to call the etheric body is, as we have said, the gateway body. In this body form is substance and you may only see this body as that of light as it may mold itself as it desires.

The violet-ray body may perhaps be understood as what you might call the Buddha body or that body which is complete.

Each of these bodies has an effect upon your mind/body/spirit complex in your life being-ness. The interrelationships, as we have said, are many and complex

Perhaps one suggestion that may be indicated is this: The indigo-ray body may be used by the healer once the healer becomes able to place its consciousness in this etheric state. The violet-ray or Buddhic body is of equal efficacy to the healer for within it lies a sense of wholeness which is extremely close to unity with all that there is. These bodies are part of each entity and the proper use of them and understanding of them is, though far advanced from the standpoint of third-density harvest, nevertheless useful to the adept.

I think it is important to note here that the Ra material is not the Law of One. It is the channeling of information of a group that professes the Law of One. Just as there are many other avenues to acquire teachings regarding the Law of One.

The Law of One is found in various cultures and ancient teachings and those who are aware of it and follow its guiding principles can be known as the Children of the Law of One.

However there are many who are aware of it, and know it, but who do not follow it and deliberately choose to be in opposition to it. Those would not be Children of the Law of One.

Whether one chooses to call extraterrestrial beings ETs or angels or gods does not mean that they are the sole harbingers of the truths revealed in the teachings of the Law of One. Jesus taught aspects of this Law as did the Johannites that followed after him. Gnosticism is based on many aspects of the Law of One. Lucifer and Sanat Kumara taught the Law of One. Those beings which first came to the earth could be called by many names and that which they brought with them would be teachings regarding the Law of One. Just because I may choose to call them archangels, and you might choose to call them Martians or Venusians, and yet others may call them gods, does not hinder the truth which they carried and passed down.

Don defines it as an "an ability to create changes in consciousness at Will, and Ra replies with a more difficult definition of working with the 'unmanifest self' or the self that happens when you are by yourself, alone, away from others.

I would like to start a RAkipedia. Just as in wikipedia, we would keep adding to a glossary of terms, which would be checked by each other. It would be here on this site as a thread.

I sometimes have to look up certain terms posters use, and it would be great to have our own reference, especially in regards to L/L Research. But it can extend beyond that to include terms of cosmology, metaphysical, and other out-of-the-box concepts and words.

Does anyone have an interest in this?

I'm writing an article on the structure of the densities and their correlation to the chakras. I'm also attempting to help lessen some confusion regarding the 3D-5D shift idea, where 4D seems to be labeled as the astral realm.

If anyone feels they have a grasp on this, I would welcome some insight:

When Ra refers to the inner planes, is this the corresponding time/space sub-densities, or non-physical sub-densities that exist in space/time?

Dear forums,

The "Advanced Studies" sub-forum was built for a couple of reasons. Primarily to accommodate the needs of a particular member with the hope that its construction would bring greater balance to the Force, as there were disturbances in our equilibrium. Secondarily to create a space wherein all participants would be super mindful of the need to post on-topic.

But as the spiral has moved us upward and onward into new space/time nexi, the situation has changed. There is no longer that particular need for balance, and by and large the community tends to post on-topic. So I'm wondering if the sub-forum is still useful. Is it an eight-track tape or an MP3? What do you think?

Does Advanced Studies serve a particular function for you? Do you find it helpful? Would you prefer that it continue? Would eliminating it affect the "Advanced Studies" tattoo across your back?

Would really appreciate your feedback, whether for or against the sub-forum.

If the community votes that it's not needed/wanted, we could perhaps disassemble it and relocate all of its threads to their most appropriate home. Or we could repurpose it, making it a home for Tarot/Archetype discussion, or perhaps some other specialized subject.

After discerning the first half a dozen sessions and reading through the introduction I have not read anything that I would say contradicts the teachings of the Children of the Law of One. That may be premature of me but I sense that much of the confusion revealed here in the forum is quite possibly the result of a misinterpretation of the Ra material by the followers. And that should not be surprising to anyone.

What I have found so far seems to focus on what Ra calls distortion, which by my discernment is the way they choose to describe vibration and frequency.

This is found in everything that exists and relates to the interaction of fields of consciousness or fields of energy that share information as the All.

It can also be noted that when they first came to this planet makind was already divided into STO and STS.

It is also noted that they acknowledge ritual of the the circle, prominent in many of the occult teachings.

There is also acknowledgment of reincarnation and varying distortions of incarnations. even suggesting that contact with the Intelligent Infinity, what I would call The Source or Infinite Spirit, or the One Consciousness, is made through the spirit.

Also acknowledged is that distorting toward the Intelligent Infinity is by higher vibration. and that higher vibration is achieved by one realizing their true identity as the One. Also Ra has stated on page 84 that they have not yet reached that distortion implying that is a goal they still seek to achieve.

And I believe this is where I gebin to see complication. "other-selves"

Further study is required before any conclusions are drawn, but from what is thus far revealed it seems that what they call the otherself is actually the balancing of self awareness that all incarnations must do to achieve higher vibration/distortion.

Maybe at this point it would help if I could get a few opinons on what those who have more fully studied this have come to understand so I have an external otherself view to consider.

It spoke of otherself with regard to seeking the polarized thoughts and emotions when meditating so that one could find that balance where if only working with one aspect balance would be difficult to realize. therefore the otherself is simply consideration of the pole opposite of whatever emotion or thought that you were working with.

Ra also mentioned on page 98 that one of the reasons they did not remain here on earth was because the human was acknowledgeing them as different, in that they were 'other than our otherselves'. In other words, our otherselves being our polarities, we thought them to be above the state of being polarized, or more like gods, which implies, as Ra says, a hypocritical position because they were just like our otherselves; polarized.

Which as he also acknowledges in one of the first few pages, we live in a polarized existence. And one in which they have not yet transcended beyond themselves.

All of this would indicate to me at this point that there is a direction in which we can develop which will bring us to a point where our distortion will enable us to interact with the Intelligent Infinity in a way that will then cause it to transform us from our physical to a much higher distortion.

More study is required but I see nothing here that would contradict with any understanding that I already have. I would simply use a different language and expression of these same teachings.

Was doing some research and came across a few references that may point to some interesting connections. Namely the slingshot gravitational effect, The law of squares or doubling and "plumbing" the mystery of eighth density.

Questioner: Can you give me some kind of history of your social memory complex and how you became aware of the Law of One?

Ra: I am Ra. The path of our learning is graven in the present moment. There is no history, as we understand your concept. Picture, if you will, a circle of being. We know the alpha and omega as infinite intelligence. The circle never ceases. It is present. The densities we have traversed at various points in the circle correspond to the characteristics of cycles: first, the cycle of awareness; second, the cycle of growth; third, the cycle of self-awareness; fourth, the cycle of love or understanding; fifth, the cycle of light or wisdom; sixth, the cycle of light/love, love/light or unity; seventh, the gateway cycle; eighth, the octave which moves into a mystery we do not plumb.

Questioner: Is it necessary in each case of these landings for the entities involved to be calling the Orion group, or do some of these entities come in contact with the Orion group even though they are not calling that group?

Thus this entity, “Yod-Heh-Shin-Vau-Heh,” came among your people in form according to incarnate being and mated in the normal reproductive manner of your physical complexes, thus birthing a generation of much larger beings, these beings called “Anak.”

Questioner: Could you explain what you mean by “raises up any personality”?

Questioner: This next question I feel to be a transient type of question; however, it has been asked me by one whom I have communicated with who has been involved intensely in the UFO portion of the phenomenon. If you deem it too transient or unimportant we’ll skip it, but I have been asked how it is possible for the craft of the fourth-density to get here since it seems that as you approach the velocity of light the mass approaches infinity. My question would be why craft would be necessary at all?

Ra: I am Ra. You have asked several questions. We shall respond in turn.

Firstly, we agree that this material is transient.

Secondly, those for the most part coming from distant points, as you term them, do not need craft as you know them. The query itself requires understanding which you do not possess. We shall attempt to state what may be stated.

Firstly, there are a few third-density entities who have learned how to use craft to travel between star systems while experiencing the limitations you now understand. However, such entities have learned to use hydrogen in a way different from your understanding now. These entities still take quite long durations of time, as you measure it, to move about. However, these entities are able to use hypothermia to slow the physical and mental complex processes in order to withstand the duration of flight. Those such as are from Sirius are of this type. There are two other types.

One is the type which, coming from fourth, fifth, or sixth density in your own galaxy, has access to a type of energy system which uses the speed of light as a slingshot and thus arrives where it wishes without any perceptible time elapsed in your view.

The other type of experience is that of fourth, fifth, and sixth densities of other galaxies and some within your own galaxy which have learned the necessary disciplines of personality to view the universe as one being and, therefore, are able to proceed from locus to locus by thought alone, materializing the necessary craft, if you will, to enclose the light body of the entity.

Questioner: Thank you. I think that possibly I am on an important point here because it seems to me that the great work in evolution is the discipline of personality, and it seems that we have two types of entities moving around the universe, one stemming from disciplines of personality, and the other stemming from what you call the slingshot effect. I won’t even get into the sub-light speeds because I don’t consider that too important. I only consider this material important because of the fact that we are considering disciplines of the personality.

Is the use of the slingshot effect for travel what you might call an intellectual or a left brain type of involvement of understanding rather than a right brain type?

Ra: I am Ra. Your perception on this point is extensive. You penetrate the outer teaching. We prefer not to utilize the terminology of right and left brain due to the inaccuracies of this terminology. Some functions are repetitive or redundant in both lobes, and further, to some entities the functions of the right and left are reversed. However, the heart of the query is worth some consideration.

The technology of which you, as a social complex, are so enamored at this time is but the birthing of the manipulation of the intelligent energy of the sub-Logos which, when carried much further, may evolve into technology capable of using the gravitic effects of which we spoke.

The question here becomes whether these references have correspondence or not

If so, then could the references be to masonry as a "craft" that allows the lightbody of "an entity" to be enclosed
and if masonry measures a man and a man is light then could this be the measure of light presence with a center of gravity of such slingshot like effects?



It would appear that there is a noted caution from Ra on such matters?

Does the Ra material teach that the human is designed to evolve into a being of light, transcending from the form of flesh into a form that is not of the flesh?
