I am just trying to make the distinction that it isn't about 'converting to a way of life' like converting to a religion or something like that. You know how religious people like to convert others, and want others to think like they do. In that case, it is very different because those of differing beliefs aren't hurting anyone, so there's a lack of acceptance for those who choose to live and believe differently. Look at how they don't accept gays even though gays aren't hurting anyone.

This is different because there are victims. It isn't about one's 'way of life' but the focus is on championing the victims.

It's a subtle but important distinction.
