It's funny, I actually haven't read any of Alan Watt's books yet, although I have downloaded this one - The Book on the Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are - to be read still.
I befriended a bunch of Ayahuasca drinkers recently, a very bohemian crowd, and I joined their facebook group, and after the hundredth person posted something about Alan Watts, I finally downloaded his lectures. I'll be honest, for me Ra has really been my greatest discovery, but Alan Watts is my audio opium!
I don't know if he comes across as well in the written word as in his lectures, because with him it's the lectures everyone goes on and on about.
