The saint realizes that the "other" is the Creator, as are all others and the self. The saint seeks to match his will with the Creator's will. He serves with a full and open heart as the winds of spirit call him to his best and highest service. The mystery deepens across the densities.
As was said above, there's the intellectual understanding that all is one. Then there is gnosis, direct apprehension of the unity of Creation. You "KNOW" all is one. That's at the level of higher self.
