I now came up with a simplified explanation of the astral body. The human nervous system deals with dualities, and is even divided into a left and a right side. The heart and the cardiovascular system is a unity. And the heart chakra is the energy center for the heart and unity.

In the beast stream we experience our physical human body as a separate object. Yet even mainstream science admits that there are no actual isolated systems in reality. A more correct view is therefore that the physical human body is a part of, and one with, the entire solar system (and ultimately with the whole universe and beyond).

The solar stream, then, is the experience of the human body as a part of the entire solar system, not separate from it. That's what I now call the astral body. And the name "astral" is appropriate since it means star and our sun is our star. Green-ray activation is therefore as I see it the shift into experiencing the body as one with the solar system, both mentally and also through an actual heart feeling/consciousness.
