I really am curious about this...what sort of logical explanation is apparent enough to warrant such a lack of interest in a city skyline which isn't supposed to be there floating on a river?

I'm not trying to debate, I really want to know. You would really shrug off a city suddenly appearing where it isn't supposed to be?
