Again I agree with with blatzadict. I'm turning 24 in two weeks and I feel a huge disconnect with guys my age. And older guys do not take me seriously. They take my looks at face value and only want one thing. I've even tried to down down play my looks. Wear loose clothing, meet guys at a bookstore instead of a bar yet it always comes down to one thing. There goes Nina with the great smile and great body ugh. Anyway I'm going to try speed dating in NYC woohoo maybe this won't be a lonely winter after all. Lol sorry for the rant. And maybe it's because I've decided not to be with a broken person anymore. This post really made me feel better when I first read it because one of the first girls I was into 'Gaslighted' me. (A term which I use to describe when someone makes you feel crazy for actually normal behaviour).

When I read that I realized that this is also the case for me. The last girl I falled in love with was very sensitive too. I would also say vulnerability and need for help which is not hidden but openly showed. This is hard to describe because it often seems to be mundane when you read it but sensitity is a very good term to express it.

I don't know what 'type' attracts me but I know I've had a strong pull to people and there is no pattern there that is consistent. The force that pulls me to someone could be the energy that two people synergistically create as a result of sharing a 'space' together.To me, seeking a type or trying to fulfill a need becomes stuff of fantasy and disappointment.
