If we are solid light, does that mean certain gurus become light when they transfer into their rainbow body? Some have been known to dissipate in a flash of light, or so it goes. Is it like light into matter, but in reverse?

I do not know what a 'rainbow body' is. Thus, am not able to comment on that.

However, with respect to the last two questions, probably, the following from the LOO can shed light --

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct as far as your reasoning has taken you. However, it is well to point out that the Logos has the plan of all the densities of the octave in potential completion before entering the space/time continuum in first density. Thus the energy centers exist before they are manifest.
