Hi all,

In case you haven't heard, Carla is having a rough time:

I have started a daily 5min light visualization meditation at noon US Pacific time. I simply imagine a large number of entities in a circle with Carla, bathed in light, in the middle. The intention is not to heal (which may infringe) but to offer light for her desired use. If Carla wishes to heal without surgery, then this hopefully empowers that wish. If conversely, she simply wishes to exit the illusion then hopefully this enables a smoother transition with less discomfort.

I'm advertising the time in the hope that others can join me to send exponentially more light.

I don't ever really look at the blogs. The first time I looked at them was today. What happened to her? I must sound pretty stupid asking this, but what illness does she have? I'm deeply saddened by this news. I had no idea this was going on. Sad

I'm not going to say I'm an expert on Carla's condition(s), but I have read Jim's blog almost daily (or at least caught up when I've been behind) and here's my best gist:

Carla has been very sickly for a long time, basically her whole life. After Don died, she was immobilized for many years, but eventually got back up and moving again. She has very bad rheumatoid arthritis. Her condition then deteriorated again and a few years ago, Carla had surgery to fuse a few vertebrae in her back. Because of her spending most of her time in bed, the wound on her back never healed properly. It's been an open, painful wound that requires daily care for years.

Carla went to a few doctors recently and one suggested that surgery to remove the titanium screws would be the only way to get it to heal, but due to Carla's poor/declining health in general she had to see a few more specialists before the surgery could be scheduled. Her hemoglobin counts were low so she was taking blood transfusions every few weeks. Recently (~ a month ago) Carla's vision and hearing took a complete nosedive, severely reducing her ability to interact with the world in the ways she was used to. After a particularly scary and painful trip to the doctor ~a week ago, I think Carla then decided that she was done with fighting for this physical complex.

I think Carla would appreciate any love/light sent her way, but also remember to think of Jim. Caring for her has been his life for a long time, and he just lost his mom this year, too. I am very sad and heartbroken about the situation, but I am happy for Carla's opportunity to get herself a nice, lithe, 4D compatible body to return here and enjoy the transition in a way she hasn't been able to yet.

The only thing I knew about was the rheumatoid arthritis, but I didn't know about all of those other complications. I will definitely miss her. Heart

Wow she's actually leaving Sad

It was a fantastic ride I'm sure. She would never want to be idolized but I'm happy to say that she is definitely someone that I will forever look up to
