There isn't a single song of this band that doesn't moves my soul deeply.

Minyatur, do you like The Mars Volta at all? Haken's songs sort of remind me of them. The lead singer seems to have a similar voice to the lead singer of The Mars Volta. They are also both progressive acts.

Didn't know the band, just listened to 3 of their songs and it looks good.

Was watching this today and at about 1:45 Plenum says he's gonna go grab lunch and then someone drives up with a tank and joins the dance party.

That inspired me to link the following song:

for SATB, percussion, harp, and string quartet
This work is a setting of a wonderfully mysterious poem by John Bradburne, In Nomine. The choir is accompanied by harp and percussion, apart from one heightened moment of 'ecstasy' when all forces sing/play together. Interpolated in the piece are four 'In nomines' for string quartet alone.

Quote:Jaakobah threw his head back and laughed. "I can just see it now. The Apocalypse will come, and the tanks will be rolling across the land. And here will be Elymius, who will whip out this dead stuffed thing out of his coat. He'll be holding off the forces of Heaven with a dead cat and demanding to know why God killed it. All by himself."

The little girl grabbed a little of the Madman's wild hair, and whispered, quoting, "'The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. We are God's children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when He is revealed we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is.'" He continued to blink uncomprehending. The Madman, Jack Keros, was working from a poor position, since he was quite mad.

Quick Terry Story, circa 1590, in some country lord's house following Queen Elizabeth's entourage while she went Visiting.

    A Holiday in the Garden

We stood in the garden, side by side. The failing light of the setting sun set her blond hair afire, and her eyes reflected a violet deeper then the orchid's most secret private parts. She turned her face up to mine and smiled, radiantly. Inside I melted, and yet still, she was a stranger.
