You're young, you're sungazing...and you're thinking "This is harmless...I'm not having any problems with this".

    http://www.i-care.net/faq-amd.htm#SL

We're all bullet-proof when we're young. The folllies of youth can incur a pretty high price when you get older.

But..its your sight, your eyes...that your messing with? Especially when "Intent" is a far better tool for gazing on the face of infinity.

We don't see with our eyes, we see with our mind using data from the eyes. The mind fills in blanks where the retina was damaged, so nothing seems different at first. Later though, you might find yourself missing something because the mind filled in the blank parts with poor guesswork. Please protect those eyes! Please! Only two to a customer.

A high price to one may simply be a new state to another, my friend. Of course, I'm not exactly staring in to the sun at high noon every day, simply saying that I am able to do so if I choose and that it has at times helped me to feel empowered. I am not really going through my youth with the idea of preserving my state in old age, I expect what shall come of my old age shall be what I am intending to work with. Should blindness take me then I will see it as a new gift of state and another lesson by which I can experience my reality. Interestingly, I was born blind, so it would probably be more of a return to a natural state! Tongue

Harm is in your perception, you are not harmed when you accept your state. Pain is the result of resistance and nonacceptance. I think it's more harmful to worry about whether or not you are being harmed!

Also @Monica - Where do you live? In theory I should be able to do it by a reverse intention of manifestation, so with your location I can certainly see what I can accomplish.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not burning out my eyes or anything, this is something I rarely do and obviously it would be harmful if I was to be doing it daily, but I don't think I should fret in the case of a few experiments.

Gotcha, I will do some work for you. I will be around some other powerful people the next few days as well and I'm sure they would be more than willing to assist me in this work. Rest assured, rain will come soon!

Some months ago an Austrian documentary about Breatharianism was running in independent cinemas in the German-speaking countries. Missed it, though my Brother found it quite interesting and more than fair to the subject matter. Probably it's available on DVD now.

However, this is what Q'uo has to say on the topic:
Quote:Firstly, given the state of consciousness normal to third-density entities, we feel that it is not desirable that entities set themselves the goal of attempting to live without the bread and water which is food for the body. A good deal of damage can be done by one who sees a symptom of a condition as having a life of its own, and those who indeed within your illusion do live upon air or that which is called prana, divinely filled air, do so through grace and not by design.
    [...]
There are those who come into this experience with certain key memories untouched, and because of these carry-overs from previous incarnations, these entities are able, by availing themselves of grace, to work with the connections between your physical body and your spiritual or electrical body, so that that which feeds the finer body then rains manna down upon the physical.

    Session from 29th Nov 1987

Nevertheless, sun-gazing certainly has its merits. But as I've lived more or less out of sync with daylight-time for years I've taken up imaginary sun-bathing. While meditating I imagine being right inside our dear LOGOS, inhaling its light into my whole body. Quite invigorating Smile
And good for my rather light-sensitve eyes.

    Sunny Love,

I tried it twice. the first time I was in a good position to do it for the last couple of minutes before it slipped below the horizon and it was fine, didn't hurt at all. However the next day I tried again from my own place where I dont have the same vantage point and it was higher up, and that was not good. it was too bright and left my vision with a damaged red spot for many hours after, so I'm kind of put off from doing it unless its really low on the horizon. on the good side though, the aura it gave off was MASSIVE, though it was red for me, but not only could I see its aura but I could see the auras of the trees all around too, and they were green/blue..

Yeah, it's recommended to only do it the first or last hour of visible sun.

I haven't had any afterimages even on the day I did 11 mins.

Though it does stimulate the pineal and I can see auras around everything for a bit after.

I waited til the last hour, it was still too bright. I would say a safer time would be the last 10 mins

I'm calculating the increasing time as it will affect my schedule for work. I did a minute today.

If I can add 10 seconds each day, I'll be at about 34 minutes in March 11, 2012. This is the day when clocks go forward an hour in the US, and sunrise then is at 7:48 AM here. Have to be at work by 8:15, and it takes me 10 mins to drive to work, so might have to see with work about being late as I do my sun meditations as per my "religious" belief. I'd probably get to work around 8:30 at the latest. March 26 sunrise is 7:30, so by then I should be back to normal time.

From that time, the sun rises earlier each day at a faster rate than I'm increasing my time, so I can get to work earlier.

This is barring anything like clouds where the sun doesn't shine through, and I need to stay at a certain duration till I have a clear view of the sun.

Just a little bit of sungazing humor I found.

The FFFUUU is a pretty common meme on the web. Just look on Google Images for FFUU or FFFUUU or FFFFUUUU or any variation like that.

I do no dare to do this. My eyes are already bad in seeing the dark (started to heal it slowly, but I am new at this spritual healing , so it will take some time.), and they are -6 dioptrians of I am correct. I would be afraid, and that is not a good feeling to have when connecting to this systems sub-lugos...

Oh, I can see very well in low light. I was out hiking with a friend when the sun went down in the woods. It started to get pretty dark. To me, the rocks were glowing. Even a little patch of white sticks out when I have my high vibration going. BTW that picture wasn't meant to be taken seriously.

i know Oldern, me too. sungazing might make vision better but i don't want to take the risk. although the mental health benefits would be nice. i'm still considering it.

Meerie because when I focus on it I can make it less intense. But when I lose focus, it comes back.

The sungazing seems to accelerate these symptoms. I deal with quite enough energy as it is so may

    take a little time off.

An "evolve" or "repair" headache has a different type of feeling, running current through pathways that haven't been used since you were born. My own pain from this type is a dull/hot full cranium ache, where you don't really consider aspirin or anything because it feels so different.

You folks that are scared to look at the sun should just do the closed eye type of gazing, looking at the sun through your eyelids, using them as a sort of filter. Pretty much all I would do in my position.

Exactly pickle. I don't even bother with aspirin or the like because that doesn't help. They are certainly different. Sometimes I can't tone down the energy to get comfortable and I just have to bear it for the few hours or so that it comes in.

The one I had before was direct between my pineal and occipital area of the brain (back of the head). It has feeling of a lot of pressure to it.
