If it's not too late, ask Jim to play the decades-old movie, Invasion of the Girl Snatchers.

I will be with you next year, Ankh!
Kycahi is that the movie that features a young, topless Carla?

I made so many wonderful new friends there....what great people.

At some point, LLResearch will publish the proceedings, which will include the texts of formal presentations, but the most significant portion of any homecoming is the interaction and bonding between attendees, which cannot be put into words. So that part will remain a mystery to those who do not attend.

So Eddie, who was there from the forum? And did you also do a presentation?

Ankh, Ahktu, Bring4th_Steve, Bring4th_Gary, Bring4th_Aaron, and one other fellow who said he was on the Bring4th board, but didn't tell me what his screen name was (we were in the middle of a busy 4-way conversation). I gave a presentation explaining why the Megalithic stone circles of Britain were built and how they were used.

It amazes me that, for the most part, the circle of people who attend Homecoming, and the circle of people who post on Bring4th, still do not intersect.

was the title of your presentation "the holographic nature of the universe"? I think Jim mentioned a Josh C. doing a presentation in Carlas blog.
There is indeed a poster called JoshC, maybe that was him?

Josh Caruthers! One of my great new friends. I didn't remember that he was a poster. I was talking about someone else.
    *************************
Actually, now that I look at the profile of JoshC, they can't be the same people, because the location and e-mail address are wrong. So I guess we have two JoshCs, one who posts, and one who doesn't.

We move around too much for a webcam. It would require wireless webcams attached to everyones foreheads. This might be fun, but it would be far beyond LLResearch's budget.

you move around? I thought most of the action happens under that big white tent? There the videocam could be installed. And for the evening meals, you could go to restaurants in Louisville that have CCTV Cool

Homecoming is emotionally intense. Some people experience true release for the first time in their lives. People cry (men as well as women). Some reveal things that they have never told to anyone, not even to lovers or best friends. Of course, people feel vulnerable in such situations, and do not wished to be filmed....and we respect their privacy. I cannot imagine that Homecoming will ever be broadcast in the manner that you suggest.

If you want to experience it, you'll just have to attend.

What you get at Homecoming is something extremely rare in the modern world: deeply bonded relationships based upon a shared higher spiritual understanding. We are Family in a fuller and richer sense than you can experience in any other context.

you know, i just thought that myself. That if I attended, I would not want to be filmed. If I make it till summer 2012, I intend to come, that is for sure.
(unless FBI agents do not let me enter the land of the free - my eternal nightmare)

Eddie, maybe you're thinking of Toby? (Bathmayos... but I can't find any of his posts or type his name into the search bar so I can link to him here lol)

Ahhh Josh... hahaha last night, he joked about channeling the mods... If someone's acting up here on the forums and all the mods are busy at homecoming, some tuned members can just channel the modly wrath upon them!

*raises hand* Tongue I was one of those crybabies... hahaha! Silly me for some reason actually didn't expect a fully open amount of yellow ray energy to be present and flowing through these green ray activated people. I didn't expect to experience such rich and rewarding friendships to form and evolve over such a short period of time!

I wish that so many more of you could have been here for this incredible experience.

Ah! Forgot to add that now that the festivities are over, Lynn and Walter are going to take me and our Swedish friends around Louisville today for one last hurrah. BigSmile

I am already missing my brothers and sisters. It's a pity we can't do this more often.

We should do it in the wilderness one year.

I would have loved to come, but couldn't find a decent price on a flight. :-/ Maybe we could organize something closer to a major transport hub, i.e. Atlanta, LAX, Chicago, New York, Dallas, Phoenix, Denver, Miami.... Vegas Smile

Oddly, flying to Louisville was more expensive than flying to London from Southern California.

Check the cost of flights from LA to Cincinnati. Cinci airport is actually in KY and only about 90 miles from Louisville.

It was an incredible weekend, and bring4th folks were a big part of that. ahktu, Ankh, and Eddie all gave amazing presentations, Aaron held the light (big time!), Steve produced never-ending light-filled fruit smoothies and helped me when the audio for my own presentation acted up, and Gary was the maestro who orchestrated the whole show.

The airports available to Louisville include Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Dayton. Among those, Cincinnati is usually the most expensive and Louisville usually is good, but often Indy and sometimes Dayton is best. The savings can be big, too.
