    This isn't one of them.

    Mountain waters fall,
Pure untouched and free to all,
    Beauty to behold.

Just thought that one up, the last line was a tough one to think up. All the things I wanted to say were too many syllables. Smile

I have been there often and it is especially beautiful in the winter, if a bit cold Smile

    All will come again

All will come again into its strength:
the fields undivided, the waters undammed,
the trees towering and the walls built low.
And in the valleys, people as strong and varied as the land.

    And no churches where God
    is imprisoned and lamented
like a trapped and wounded animal.
The houses welcoming all who knock
and a sense of boundless offering
in all relations, and in you and me.

No yearning for an afterlife, no looking beyond,
    no belittling of death,
but only longing for what belongs to us
and serving earth, lest we remain unused.

    ~ Ranier Maria Rilke ~

thoughts, things, words, actions, choices... i dunno...

    ********************************

    thorny words

    bless you, oh beloved,
    the heart of all hearts,
for inspiring the words of the wise
    which taught me
to discard all words and ideas
    like thorns removing thorns…
    and for ever after
    to melt and to dissolve
    within your ever-present
    silent
    loving
    laughter.

    oh beloved,
    bless you a million times
    for revealing to the simple
    what is concealed
    forever
    from the intelligent
    and clever!

    ********************************

    thoughtlessly,
    idiot yosy

    Heart
when one is judged...all is judged
when one is blessed...all is blessed
    [font=Times New Roman]

judging is choosing to experience separation
blessing is choosing to experience unification

it is upon this axis that our reality revolves
    projecting attaches while forgiving dissolves

judgment restricts love's flow and creates hell
blessing extends love's flow and creates heaven

each and every encounter offers this choice
we can bless silently or bless with our voice

any time you judge the heart does close
wouldn't you rather unfold like a rose?

a path of darkness or a path of light
where both paths meet is a great insight

mind is dualistic and heart is simplistic
no one knows the truth, let's be realistic

mikey my brother u are one of the most inspirational souls that i know. thank u brother and thanks to all

who have posted here. know that i hold each one in my heart with gratitude.

wrapped in a tube of steel

our hearts have been wrapped in a tube of steel

stepped on, crushed , destroyed by friend and foe alike

who was unkind to you, your mother, your father , your best friend

and so our natural inclination to trust was stolen

we learned to walk around with a coat of armor

just for the sake of survival

just to be able to make it thru the day.

now the time has come brothers and sisters

time to take a chance and to let go

let all of the unexpressed and repressed love that dwells in your heart

    come out.

take a chance , why not what do u have to loose.

just one thing , your tube of steel.

From a tree falls a leaf, fiercely collapsing
Alone, but against the wind who holds its pain.
Still a friend it has as it sways an endless path--
Still yet a silent God yearning to embrace its state.

And as it travels it is held--softly kissed gently to the ground.
    And it is loved.

thank you norral and everyone that posts poetry here...it is such a delight every time i open this thread:

i wake up in the morning
    stretch my fingers and toes

i wake up in the morning
    and get into child pose

i wake up in the morning
    write down all my dreams

i wake up in the morning
to catch the sun's first beams

i wake up in the morning
    all ready for the day

i wake up in the morning
    who else wants to play?

i wake up in the morning
    spin me water to energize

i wake up in the morning
    love's shining through my eyes

i spend all day in nature
    leave behind my shoes

i spend all day in nature
a sure cure for the blues

i spend all day in nature
    walking in the woods

i spend all day in nature
    forgetting about shoulds

i spend all day in nature
    watching the colors turn

i spend all day in nature
    there's so much to learn

i spend all day in nature
    catching leaves that twirl

i spend all day in nature
    with my friend the squirrel

i lay down in the evening
    take off most my clothes

i lay down in the evening
    my weary eyes then close

i lay down in the evening
repeat a mantra in my head

i lay down in the evening
oh how i love a comfy bed

i lay down in the evening
    my practice of being still

i lay down in the evening
recalling how i used my will

i lay down in the evening
    turn off all the lights

i lay down in the evening
and to all i say "good nights"

    The March of the Emperor

    The Emperor walks,
    silent and subtle.

    I think that I do in life;
    but the Emperor,
    smiles at my secret thought.

I think it is I who seeks an audience,
in the court of the Emperor.
The Emperor is but a witness,
    a silent and composed presence.

    The Emperor waits,
    for me to know,
that it is not I who seeks,
    but it is the Emperor,
who seeks his radiance through me.

Do I have to bow before the Emperor?
    It does not matter,
    for the Emperor marches nonetheless,
    silent and subtle,
    as it has been always.

But who is this invisible Emperor?
Of course, it is the consciousness,
    of the One Infinite Creator.

    What am I, O Lord?

Dear Lord, what am I to you,
    a puppet on a string,
or a child of your very being?

O Lord, don't you know that I long for you,
for you are the only true lover,
that can satiate the love in my heart.

Dear Lord, come hither to me,
and take me into thy bosom.
Make love to me on the meadows of infinity,
so that I dissolve into you in complete ecstasy.

I search for you, O my divine lover,
in the mountains and amidst the valleys,
in the dens and the fields,
but I find you no where.
Where are you, O my divine Lover?

Lord, I long to sing praises to you,
singing the glory of thy infinite being.
    The peace I search for,
is neither in wisdom nor in action,
but in myself rendered unto you in devotion.

I am growing mad, O Lord,
in my desperation to be lost in you.
    Please grant me my desire,
of merging into the bliss of thy sacred fire.

I know not the secrets of your creation,
nor do I care for the merits of their narration.
All I know is that I can be rid of disease,
only when I enter into thy final peace.

    Come, O my paramour,
let us dissolve in the passion of devotion this night.

this one came from a very deep place last night...mollly really opened me up...i hope everyone can feel the power from which this came:

the governments not going to solve our problems
we are the only ones who can handle this

living from our heart...sharing our bliss
when we work together we cannot miss

    we're the majority...we're 99 percent
occupy the heart full-time...don't just rent

what we receive in life comes from what is sent
there are no mistakes for which you must repent

we have to stay strong...we must be couragious
the 6th sense of humor heals cause laughter is contagious

it's outragous there are people in the world that our starving
just look at all the pumpkins wasted just for carving

it doesn't have to be like this...we can live without money
we each must find our passion like the bees make honey

humanity's role is to be the caretaker of the earth
who have you helped today? let this measure your worth

we know why were here...it's to help with mother's birth
one simple way to assist is with the energy of mirth

we are not a deadly virus nor are we some cancer
we are just really confused about what is the answer

our sentience is a gift...in fact it's the highest honor
but we don't have dominion over an ant or an otter

take a few minutes now and really start to ponder
if you thought you could help this place then why wouldn't you wander

it is time to end the lie

it is time, past time to end this lie in which we live

what is it u might ask, quite simple really, that some

have more than others to give.

there are some, a chosen few, upon who the blessing has

    been placed

and all the rest are here to serve as slaves we call the human race

well i disagree with dat, truthspeaker that i am

aint no one can say to another that u are less of a man

so lets drop this charade of the chosen deserve more than the rest

the humblest simplest people i have met are quite honestly the best

so rich boys and privileged girls start to learn how to clean your own home

because quite shortly u are going to find yourself quite alone

aint nobody all that and dat is the truth

and that right now brothers and sisters is the message we are hearing

    from our youth

    'Through the Pane'

Of lost hopes and dreams she thinks,
    Staring outside her windowpane;
And of friends long loved and lost,
They who knew her whole once said:

'Shadows form on Earth from those that leave--

    i hope you choose
    to shine instead of cower
    shine instead of cower
    don't hide away your power

    dear listener...
    i hope you know
we're living in the final hour
    living in the final hour
it's time for you to flower

    dear listener...
    i hope your dreams
    all come to fruition
    all come to fruition
    just follow your intuition

    dear listener...
    i hope your days
are full of hugs and laughter
    full of hugs and laughter
love we are here to master

    dear listener...
    i hope you find
    that which you are seeking
    that which you are seeking
    that's not fair you're peeking

    dear listener...
    i hope you give
    without any expectation
    without any expectation
    share your heart without hesitation

    dear listener...
    i hope you take
    timeout just for breathing
    timeout just for breathing
the air's so full it's seething

I don't know what it is about the poem but I really really like it. Smile so thanks again. And I strangely like sad things especially nostalgic things. Like imagining a music box in a broken down house and someone finds it opens it and hears music. But not just music. They can almost hear the laughter of the previous owners and almost see a fire in the hearth and the room them way it was. And how this scene is sad is that the people who lived with this music box will never(by conventional and current means) be remembered and the only remnant of anything that shows they existed is the small music box in a broken down house. Sad I don't know why but I feel good when I feel nostalgic even though it is sad. It is weird. -Conifer16- Adonai Vasu Borragus I could do a better job of presenting the scene if I was talking.

I know exactly what you mean about feeling nostalgic. I feel the same way--don't know why, either.

And how this scene is sad is that the people who lived with this music box will never(by conventional and current means) be remembered and the only remnant of anything that shows they existed is the small music box in a broken down house. Sad I don't know why but I feel good when I feel nostalgic even though it is sad. It is weird. -Conifer16- Adonai Vasu Borragus I could do a better job of presenting the scene if I was talking.

to live suggests that one dies and this is not the case
for we are eternal beings that cannot be erased
so many people go through life and never look within
the endless search outside for peace wears the soul thin
if only they took the time to seek the source of thought
the truth would reveal itself and no longer be sought
for silence is the holy grail, it is the long lost treasure
once you find this golden light you can't help but feel pleasure
all the forms of life which seem so different and unique
they're all made of consciousness whose playing hide and seek
now this may be hard to grasp and even harder to accept
but there is a deep part of you that has never ever slept
it witnesses your dreams and each experience while awake
consciousness doesn't need to sleep or even take a break
our soul is so creative that is boggles the monkey mind
the truth indeed is glaring but it doesn't make you blind

    Release me, O Logos

In the rain of the night,
I wake in fright as the thunder strikes.

The memories of a time of security and bliss haunt me.
The days and nights when time stood still,
and all that flowed were sweet praises for the ONE.

    But one day, I awoke,
    in a realm of duality,
held together by the will of a powerful entity,
    called the Great Galactic Logos.

I ask of you, O Logos,
release me from thy hold on my existence.
I long to join the stream of those,
who spend their day and night in praise of the ONE.

To wait at the metaphorical feet of the ONE,
and to roam the infinite worlds singing praises of it,
is the longing of my soul.

O Logos, if I am a creature of freewill,
then I ask you in the name of the ONE,
who stands as a lamp of the threshold in the evening,
to set me free for a new morning of poetic murmur,
The ONE says in my ear,
come sing your praises for me.

    I just composed this

    Dance across the sky unbound,
    bright beauty shines pure.

    Not the loss alone

    Not the loss alone,
    But what comes after.
    If it ended completely
    At loss, the rest
    Wouldn't matter.

    But you go on.
    And the world also.

    And words, words
    In a poem or song:
    Aren't they a stream
    On which your feelings float?

    Aren't they also
    The banks of that stream
    And you yourself the flowing?
