Life, Catalyst, and Emotions
Life on Earth
The Creator sent you forth, at the beginning of this creation, as a collector, observer and transmuter of experience. Your job has been, and continues to be, to observe all things; to create within yourself an awareness of how you feel about those things; to create questions and find the heart of your desire as you look at how you feel, and then to move yourself forward along the paths that you have chosen in order to respond.
Again and again you have been called forth from contentment into discontent, from sameness into change, from stability into the seeming chaos of transformation. We would ask simply that you approach the changes that this time in your life calls forth from you with a stubborn and fearless faith that all is well and that these transformational changes are not to your detriment although the world may see them that way. This volume is titled 102: The Outer Work. Its focus is the everyday work we do in the lower three chakras—the red, orange and yellow energy centers, plus the great central chakra, the green-ray energy center of the heart.
The red-ray chakra works with issues of sexuality and survival. The orange-ray chakra works with personal relationships—our relationships with ourselves and our relationships with other people. The yellow-ray energy center deals with formalized relationships, such as those related to our birth and marriage families and our work environment.
When I pondered how to begin to discuss these issues, at first I thought I would proceed from issue to issue, taking red-ray issues first, then proceeding to orange-ray topics and then yellow-ray matters. But this approach does not work. A seeker deals with the same emotions in all three energy enters. For instance, he might feel the emotion of hatred for his sexuality, his work, himself or his mate.
This reasoning made me see that we needed to look at emotions before tackling any issues. And since emotions arise in the context of the catalyst we receive in the course of our daily lives, I found myself looking at life on Planet Earth.
On Planet Earth, everyone suffers. That is a given. Rich or poor, young or old, we all undergo suffering again and again. Life on Earth is an environment in which suffering is inbuilt. As Q’uo says of third-density life on Planet Earth:
“It is an environment designed to shake a complacent person out of his complacency and to challenge his presuppositions. The goal of this is not simply to give the seeking soul a degree of suffering, but to set the stage for that great choice of polarity upon which the next two and a half densities are based and which shall only be refined in fourth, fifth and sixth densities by further studies in love, in wisdom, and in unity.” Q’uo, May 23, 2009
The suffering is not senseless. It offers us “grist for the mill” of our spiritual processes. No healthy human deliberately seeks to suffer. No one likes to suffer. As Forrest Gump’s tee shirt says, “**it just happens”. And it happens on purpose, in terms of our overall plan for incarnation.

When we are born, we have already shaped our life on Earth to some extent. We have set up for ourselves incarnational lessons, things we want to bring into focus. These things always have to do with balance. Perhaps we want to become more loving, feeling that we are unbalanced on the side of wisdom. Perhaps we want to season our compassion with more wisdom. Perhaps we want to find for ourselves the right use of power.
Somewhere in these dynamics you will probably recognize the theme or themes of the catalyst you have found to repeat again and again in your life so far. For me, the incarnational lessons have been two: to learn better to give love without expectation of return, and to add wisdom to the workings of my sometimes foolishly loving heart.
Working with our guidance systems before incarnation, we choose our relationships carefully. We choose our parents, mates, friends and even our enemies, if we have them. And we choose redundantly, so that no matter how many times we choose within incarnation to walk away from our incarnational lessons, there remain plenty of players in the wings who will help us bring them up again.
We were not being masochistic when we so planned. Indeed, we were eager to engage with these incarnational themes. From the standpoint of pre-incarnative planning, we could see the great benefit of doing this work within incarnation. An incarnation, from that point of view, looks just like a term of school. The times when catalyst strikes and our emotions are engaged do not look like suffering, outside the veil. They look like section tests, ten-minutes quizzes, mid-term exams and finals.
That perspective does not last long! By the time we have traveled through the birth canal and out into the cold hard world, we have lost the long view. I feel sure that for me, it happened even before I was born. I was in the womb for a bit over ten months. I must have been very reluctant to enter the classroom of life on Earth!
Sixty-six years later and counting, I am thankful I did choose to come into incarnation now. I have had hard lessons, but as I look back on them with the wisdom of hindsight I can see that each one has added a great deal to my ability to serve the One Creator. Each bout of suffering has indeed been a gift. And I am grateful, but not because I should be—who was ever improved by doing what he “should”? I am grateful because I see the value gained, the tempering of my soul that has made it stronger and more flexible and the disciplining of my earthly personality shell so that I can live a more abundant, more joyful, more self-realized life.
Life on Earth has not made me cocky. I do not waken in the morning and say to life, “Bring it! Let’s boogie! “Indeed, if I have learned anything so far, it is that I need help. So I start my day with chapel time, in the sanctuary of my inner room of prayer. I dedicate this one day entirely to the Creator. And I ask Spirit to help me stay on task. I thank my angels for their deep love and sweet guardianship and ask them also to aide my awareness.
An important feature of life on Earth is the recurrence of one’s incarnational lessons. We cannot open our hearts—or any other chakras—and expect them to stay open. We do not learn our lessons once and never again. The ocean of life has its tides, and we may expect the occasions for suffering to come and go with every moon and season of our lives. And so we do well to start each new day as though it and we are completely new to life, yet also as though we are living the very last day of our lives. Both attitudes are equally true and helpful
There is an added piquancy to these opening days of the twenty-first century. We are seeing the last of third-density light now, as 2012 comes ever closer. As Q’uo says,
“Within third-density life as it has been experienced upon your planet for many millennia there has been third-density light that shone, both physically and metaphysically, and helped you to work towards making your choice of polarity and then maintaining that polarity and increasing that polarity. Ever since perhaps forty of your years ago that situation has gradually changed and it has made things more difficult for third-density entities upon your planet. Your planet comes closer and closer to that time when fourth density shall be the active density and third-density light shall be exhausted. […] As this instrument has experienced this change, it has been a matter of being completely unable to avoid looking at each and every part of the universal personality which this instrument has which has not yet been integrated into the heart, the mind, and the basic beingness of the surface personality.” Q’uo, May 23, 2009
In these final days of third density, the stakes are higher for us. It has become both more difficult and more desirable to study for our third-density final, the graduation harvest we will undergo when we drop our physical bodies at the natural end of our third-density incarnations.
Do not be dismayed because the time is so short. Indeed, do not be concerned if you are reading these words after 2012. If you are here at all after that, it is extremely likely that you have an advantage over purely third-density souls: you have a dual-activated, third-density/fourth- density physical and energetic body. [1] Scientists who test DNA have begun to find unknown additions to younger people’s DNA. Your higher self would not abandon you here if you could not do the work. So settle in and do the work you came to do. As you go, be heartened by Q’uo’s words:
“My dear ones, you are the light of the world. It is from hearts such as yours that the light of your plane comes. It is from lives such as yours that the great procession of life and death is imbued, in the passion play of life on Earth, with honor, dignity, compassion and deep caring. You have within you every force of death and every force of light/[life?]. Nothing has been left out of your makeup. It is the way of the spiritual sojourner to live that uncomfortable life that is aware of these matters, that is aware of the great wheel of evolution working through time and space to bring consciousness to that infinite present moment, where that great love that created all that there is suddenly explodes into light, infinite and indivisible.” Q’uo, April 7, 1996
In Living the Law of One—101: The Choice, I suggested that the Confederation view is that life is a game. The Confederation suggests that we can play the Game of Life as spiritual athletes, and we can win it. The choice to which the title of 101 refers is the choice of polarity. For only as we polarize past a certain point can we win the Game and move through the harvest of third density to achieve fourth density or, to put it in educational terms, graduate from third grade to fourth grade in this School for the Refinery of Souls.

63.13 “Questioner: Now these entities incarnate into a third-density vibratory body. I am trying to understand how this transition takes place from third to fourth density. I will take the example of one of these entities of which we are speaking who is now in a third-density body. He will grow older, and then will it be necessary that he die from the third-density physical body and reincarnate in a fourth-density body for that transition?
Ra: I am Ra. These entities are those incarnating with what you may call a double body in activation. It will be noted that the entities birthing these fourth-density entities experience a great feeling of, shall we say, the connection and the use of spiritual energies during pregnancy. This is due to the necessity for manifesting the double body.
This transitional body is one which will be, shall we say, able to appreciate fourth-density vibratory complexes, as the instreaming increases, without the accompanying disruption of the third-density body. If a third-density entity were, shall we say, electrically aware of fourth-density in full, the third-density electrical fields would fail due to incompatibility.
To answer your query about death, these entities will die according to third-density necessities.”
This morning I worked on my Camelot Journal entries and enjoyed the second day of having Boscoe living downstairs with me. It has taken about a week to slowly make the transition so that he would spend more and more time downstairs and get used to his new home. Now the two feral cats upstairs have the second floor to themselves, and, hopefully, this will create a better life for all of the kitties.
This afternoon I used my backpack blower to blow half of the leaves in the back yard into Dana’s Crystal Corner and create another area for my participating in the Leave the Leaves program to benefit insects, butterflies, birds, bees and all pollinators. Then I used the garden hose and wand to water some areas in the back yard that were particularly dry.

Go Forth Rejoicing And Glad
I am the spirit of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.
It is the wish of the principle of unconditional and creative love that each particle of the Creator’s love, each of your cells, go forth into the world rejoicing and glad.
Whatever your troubles, whatever your sorrows this day, we ask you to treat them as gently as honored guests. For each of those beautiful and less beautiful things that you may meet is something which may catch you, as a twig along the river; as that which may snag your attention and curl you into the outwardly blinded and inwardly gazing position of the fetus.
Let not your troubles bend you over or bring you to the dust, but rather stand in faith and enjoy each small and great blessing that you may find before you this day, offering praise and thanksgiving with a strong heart. Thus may the Father’s light shine in your world.
We leave you in peace, now and ever. Amen.

We come in the name of Love and open our hearts, our minds, and our souls to send love, light, and healing energies to Mother Earth as she brings forth a New Earth in fourth density. We ask that the infinite love, light, and healing energies of the One Infinite Creator heal the heart of each soul in pain on Earth tonight. May all souls on Earth feel our love, light, and healing energies in their hearts, in their minds, and in their souls. Amen.
