I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. The 103 quote today comes from Chapter Two and the section on love includes loving yourself:

Carla’s goals for this chapter: I discuss wellness as one of the things we do to tune ourselves for work in consciousness. I open up the question of what wellness is and talk about mind, body and spirit as aspects of physical wellness.

Chapter Two:

Love includes loving yourself

You need to fall in love with yourselves as wonderful and foolish and silly and evil-minded and mean and every other quality that you know of. And you need to bring all of those dark and light qualities into your heart, not to judge, but to love. For as you come to know yourself more and more, you will find the truth running deep and true under the folly of personality and opinion and that truth is that you carry the Creator’s consciousness within you and by using your will and setting your intention you may be a place where light dwells and oh, what a saving grace it is to others when they see you shine, unconcerned that you are imperfect, knowing that whatever you are, you are the Creator. Q’uo, November 2, 2010

As Q’uo suggested, our spiritual journeys are a process of many lifetimes in which we come to know more and more aspects of who we are. We are like a faceted jewel that allows the light of the Creator to shine through us and reveal the many light and dark qualities that make us a 360-degree being. As we use the balancing process to continue to see and accept these universal qualities we come to know and accept ourselves for each of an infinite set of polar opposite roles that we play upon the stage of life. However, before our conscious spiritual journeys began we attempted to choose only what we called positive qualities to reflect in our behaviors because that is what we were taught to do as children on the flat game board of life. From that point of view we cannot see beyond the veil to discover that there is so much more to our lives than trying to be “good” and “successful” and “happy” and “acceptable”. However, as we began to become conscious seekers of truth it became apparent to us that the rest of our family and friends who were also trying to be good, happy, successful, and acceptable didn’t really seem to be fulfilled with this attempt. Something was missing, and even though little comment was ever made about this inner dissatisfaction there was still this feeling that would surface from time to time indicating that all was not well. Oxal spoke to this point when they said:

When you find your self dissatisfied, know that the source is your self. Without condemning the self, clear the mind, step away from the illusion of time and limitations, and do your work, not to seek satisfaction but to understand the stimulus, asking yourself the question: What do you seek? Patiently, humbly, quietly, dwell in this question, accepting your dissatisfaction. The combination you will find most fruitful. As always, we of Oxal join our brothers in recommending that this and all spiritual exercises be accompanied by meditation. Oxal, April 26, 1981.

But as we become Players on the Enhanced Game Board of life we discover that the Creator in all of its power and variety lives within us and is, indeed, the very fabric of our being. And the Creator is all things: the villain, the hero, the servant, the master, the lover, the deceiver, the builder, the destroyer, the critic, the comforter and so on and on and on infinitely. There is no quality that can be named that we are not as Q’uo alluded to here:

The idea of forgiving the self is not to find a strand here and a strand there and a strand in the third place of perceived unforgiven self and pluck those out. It is to embrace such perceived moments with the hope of opening the self to the unity of that imperfection with the perfection it balances, so that you may see that you are not a “good” being and attempting to destroy the “bad” being that may exist beneath the floor of the “good” being. Rather, you are attempting to become a full, circular and robust self that knows its shadow side, knows its virtues and knows that neither is the true tale of the self but only the process that is occurring to allow the self to move ever deeper into that self, that interior road to the center of self that lightens as it goes until, in the very center of self, in the heart of self, in the tabernacle of the Creator within the self, there is a stunning, flooding white light that melts every consideration and allows one to rest in adoration and faith. Q’uo, September 17, 2003.

This afternoon I had two technicians from New Circle Mechanical come out and begin the process of redoing my system of draining water to keep it out of the basement by preparing to install a much larger sump pump that can easily do the job. There will also be the need to install larger pipes to connect this larger sump pump to my drain that is about 50 feet from the house. Having two more water in the basement episodes this year was the reason for this decision.

From A Book of Days, channeled by Carla L. Rueckert:

The Holy Ground Of Consciousness

I am the principle of Jesus the Christ which speaks to the world today. I am all those things that you think that I am, but most of all I am your own inner voice; your own inner comfort; your own inner peace.

Let us contemplate the holy ground of your consciousness.

Because of the troubles of daily life, the surface consciousness is littered with debris. The undercurrent of mind is littered with unspoken thoughts, unnamed fears, and unrecognized emotion.

Insofar as you may be able this day, return again and again, momentarily, to the holy ground upon which your consciousness, the very essence of your being, stands. It is no passing thing. It is, indeed, the representation of all that there is in creation.

Within you, abidingly and faithfully, that principle of love which is the Creator is your essence and constitutes the bedrock upon which you, as a timeless being, shall stand for eternity.

Return again and again to the peace, the strength, the power, the wisdom, and the love of love Itself. And from that spot within you comes a balance that shines in your vision and heals in the world outside of your eyes and inside your heart.

We leave you, healed, in the peace and love that abides within, now and ever. Amen.

I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:

We come in the name of love and open our hearts, minds, and souls to send love, light, and healing energy to Mother Earth as she brings forth a new Earth in the fourth density. We ask that the infinite love, light and healing energy of the One Infinite Creator heal the hearts of all souls in pain on Earth tonight. May all souls on Earth feel our love, light, and healing energy in their hearts, their minds, and their souls. Amen.
