I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Three and the concept of preparing the natural self for service:

Chapter Three

Preparing the Natural Self for Service

Carla’s goals for Chapter 3: “This chapter tracks the Law of One information on how to deal with the natural self, the body and the emotions brought out by our sexuality and personal relationships.”

Is there an unnatural self?

I thought long and hard about what Carla might have meant by the natural self. It is not a term that was ever used during the Ra contact or in any other of our channeled material, so I had to add to my process of intellectualization a bit of meditation as well before I arrived at a conclusion which feels like it might contain the beginning concepts related to this natural self. When we all come into this world we are born into the bodies of babies that are very simple in their functioning, and our minds also reflect this simplicity at birth. Our access to, or awareness of, our spirits seems to be in a dormant state for some period of time as well. I also believe that we contain our pre-incarnative programming that sets the stage for our maturation and following the path that we have planned before being born into the world. Ra encapsulated this process beautifully in 48.7:

Entrance into incarnation requires the investment, or activation, of the indigo-ray, or etheric body, for this is the form maker. The young, or small, physical mind/body/spirit complex has the seven energy centers potentiated before the birthing process. There are also analogs in time/space of these energy centers corresponding to the seven energy centers in each of the seven true-color densities. Thus in the microcosm exists all the experience that is prepared. It is as though the infant contains the universe.

This is the natural way for all of us to enter each incarnation. We are full of previous growth patterns that have aligned our energy centers in a unique way, and we have planned the way in which we can further activate and express the nature of our first four energy centers in a myriad of ways. Just as our bodies are very small and almost helpless to begin with, so our minds also must be given experience. As our bodies begin to learn how to crawl, to sit, to stand, and to begin to take baby steps, just so our minds have the corresponding opportunities to speak basic sounds that turn into words and then sentences. This type of growth begins to deal with concepts of how we are learning to become fully functioning entities. However, when it comes to the spirit Ra suggested that the spirit might have a slightly different process of maturation as Don and Ra spoke of in 92.18:

Questioner: Turning, then, to my analogy—or shall we say, example—of the newborn infant with the undistorted Matrix, this newborn infant has its subconscious veiled from the Matrix. The second archetype, the Potentiator of Mind, is going to act at some time through—I won’t say through the veil, I don’t think that is a very good way of stating it—but the Potentiator of Mind will act to create a condition, and I will use an example of the infant touching a hot object. The hot object we could take as random catalyst. The infant can either leave its hand on the hot object or rapidly remove it. My question is: is the Potentiator of Mind involved at all in this experience and, if so, how?

Ra: I am Ra. The Potentiator of Mind and of Body are both involved in the questing of the infant for new experience. The mind/body/spirit complex which is an infant has one highly developed portion which may be best studied by viewing the Significators of Mind and Body.

You notice we do not include the spirit. That portion of a mind/body/spirit complex is not reliably developed in each and every mind/body/spirit complex. Thusly the infant’s significant self, which is the harvest of biases of all previous incarnational experiences, offers to this infant biases with which to meet new experience.

However, the portion of the infant which may be articulated by the Matrix of the Mind is indeed unfed by experience, and has the bias of reaching for this experience through free will just as intelligent energy, in the kinetic phase, through free will, creates the Logos.

However, at some point we all are will be able to utilize the spirit more and more effectively as our infant self grows to maturity and, hopefully, will eventually become a conscious seeker of truth. Then it begins the realization of its very nature and purpose in the current life pattern. Its unconscious mind feeds it catalyst that it may then begin to process in a way that is congruent with its pre-incarnative choices and any karma that we have accumulated in previous incarnations.

Then our energy bodies begin to function according to their degree of activation and ability to function and allow the prana or love/light of the Creator to move through them. The energy body is composed of our energy centers that are activated. For most people only the first three are activated because the work of the third density is to work upon the first three energy centers in order to activate the fourth energy center that will allow us to be able to see the Creator in all other selves and choose to serve them 51% of the time and be graduated into the fourth density of love and understanding. However, the adept may activate all seven of the energy centers. So the chakra system, or energy body, is what animates our bodies and creates what is called the natural self.

Now Carla began this chapter with the question: “Is there an unnatural self?” I think that the answer to that question is that there is no unnatural self to begin the incarnational process. Each incarnation offers us the opportunity to travel further along this path, and so much of that path is concerned with how we utilize our spiritual beliefs in pursuing the outer work of living in the material world. Ideally, we will be able to use our spiritual practices as the foundation of our incarnational experience of living in the outer world and eventually becoming Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of life. Q’uo spoke to this balance of inner and outer work:

The model that we give this instrument is the model of an entity who works upon two levels. On the outer level the seeker who wishes to become more itself deals with the environment about it, attempting to place itself more and more in an environment that it finds conducive to the giving of its gifts and the learning of its lessons and the keeping of its promises in relationships and ethical considerations, and in all those matters of personal honor and duty. There is a valid benefit gained by the seeker as it simplifies and regularizes its environment in such a way as to find fruitfulness of self in all of those ways that entities think of being fruitful in avocations and vocations. There is a legitimate outer work that is helpful to doing, and we would not say that one who wishes to move more into the heart of oneself should forgo working on the discipline of the personality, the purification of emotion, and the development of the magical personality. These are just and helpful uses of the mind, of the attention, and of time. Q’uo, May 23, 1999.

When I was a child my mother and father both worked in a grocery store. Dad was the manager and mom kept the books and also stocked the shelves and ran the cash register. The store was one of a chain of grocery stores in Nebraska which were named “Jack & Jill Grocery Stores.” The home office of this chain was located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was known as the Nash-Finch Company.

When I was thirteen years old I got a Social Security Card and began working in the store as well. As the years went by I came to know the hierarchy of supervisors of the various departments on the state level as well as the higher ups from the home office in Minneapolis. I worked in the produce department and did a good job, got good grades in high school, and it soon became expected that I would go to college and major in Business Administration so that I could then join the Nash-Finch Company as a supervisor in the produce section and begin my climb up the company ladder.

I was a late-bloomer as far as being a spiritual seeker of truth, so this all sounded good to me until I finally had earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Economics. At that point, in 1969, I had become part of the hippie revolution and decided that spending my life earning money in the workaday world just to have all of the amenities of comfort and acceptance felt like a most unnatural way to use my time and energies.

It was at that point that I began to follow an alternative trail that began with going back to college to get a major in Sociology, then veer off that course into the National Teacher Corps Program, as I mentioned in the introduction to this book. Being in Teacher Corps eventually gave me the opportunity to attend the Adventure Trails Survival School, learn Brain Self-Control Therapy and become a conscious seeker of truth. It was there that I was able to activate my indigo-ray energy center which enhanced my spiritual journey and inspired me to move to the woods of central Kentucky and start my own school to teach Brain Self-Control Therapy. In essence, I was transformed from being what felt very unnatural to me—the result of my own enculturation—to a path of seeking which felt like the most appropriate and natural thing in the world for me to do. All along this path of maturation I moved ever closer to seeing service to others as the way that I wanted to live my life. This felt like my natural self in action as I had become a conscious spiritual seeker. So our energy body and natural self are inseparable and are the qualities that will allow us to embark on this life of service to others. Our natural self is that of a conscious spiritual seeker of truth, a Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning Jessie and I cleaned all of the windows in the kitchen, the area behind the kitchen, and in the living room in preparation for the Homecoming Gathering that will be underway four weeks from now. And considering all of the transplanting of flowers that we got done yesterday, it has been a very productive weekend. It was great to have Jessie’s help. I also enjoyed being on an interview with her where we talked about the Ra contact and the Law of One. You can find it by going to YouTube and searching for Skywatchers 434.

With The Eyes Of Love

I am the spirit of Him who cleaved the way of truth, Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of love, the spiritual principle which Jesus the Christ lived.

This entity saw all things with eyes of love. And we await each heart that calls to us that we may be, for each, the eyes of love. For as you look upon your day, if it is seen with the eyes of love, it is a perfect day in every way. The tasks put before you to do are those which will be helpful to others or will teach patience and understanding. Those people whom you will meet will feed you with their unique loveliness or will challenge you to find the Christ within the distortions of your mundane world.

And so all things are either for joyous and enhanced living or for serious and persistent study to know the mind of Christ, to see with the eyes of Christ.

Call upon the spirit of love. It was for this reason that this principle was invoked in a personal sense for each and every consciousness within the creation. We have great love for each and await each call with a happy heart.

We leave you in the peace which cleaves through falsity, that active peace which is love, now and forever. Amen.

I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:

We come in the name of love and open our hearts, minds, and souls to send love, light, and healing energy to Mother Earth as she brings forth a new Earth in the fourth density. We ask that the infinite love, light and healing energy of the One Infinite Creator heal the hearts of all souls in pain on Earth tonight. May all souls on Earth feel our love, light, and healing energy in their hearts, their minds, and their souls. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Two and the concept of a choice in perspective:

A Choice In Perspective

In Living the Law of One 101: The Choice, pg. 27, Carla defined the difference between “game” and “Game” when referring to how we can live our lives:

In the Introduction I suggested that the information in this book helps you to live well. It helps you to become familiar with the rules of the Gameboard. It is about being able to make informed choices in this life. And it is about knowing why.

Throughout this book, I use the capitalized Game and Gameboard to talk about spiritual seeking and making The Choice. I use the lower-case terms of game, gameboard and choice to talk about the choice we make within our flat-gameboard society without regard to spiritual values.

The Game of Life is about becoming an ethically motivated human being. The game of life with which we are already familiar is about getting by, amassing resources and taking care of our families. That lower-case gameboard inevitably brings us to spiritual crises. However, it does not furnish us with clear guidelines for choice.”

Our third-density experience is all about making The Choice of our polarity that will allow us to polarize our consciousness either in service to others or in service to self. Q’uo gave a clear definition of the nature of this Choice:

This choice is a choice of polarity. It is a choice between choosing to love, include and accept, with compassion [for] all things and beings as part of one Creator, and the choice of seeing all entities as those who may be able to serve you. It is a choice of service to others or service to self.

It is a simple choice. It is not an intellectually staggering thing to determine when you are being kind, inclusive and compassionate, and when you are being unkind, un-inclusive and non-compassionate.

As simple as this choice is, it is not a choice that many of your peoples have found easy to penetrate with a stable determination to follow either the ways of service to others or service to self. Q’uo, December 10, 2006.

In 17.32-.32, Ra gave the percentages that the service-to-others and service-to-self polarities would need to manifest in order to be graduated to the fourth density:

Questioner: Thank you very much. I don’t wish to take up extra time by asking questions over again. Some are so important I try to ask some similar questions in different ways to expand on the answer. Seems to be [inaudible] what we’re getting at, maybe not.

In the book Oahspe it states that if an individual is more than fifty percent for others— that is, goes over the 50% service to others, and is less than fifty percent for service to self, then he is harvestable. Is this a correct statement?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct if the harvesting is to be for the positive fourth dimensional level.

Questioner: What must be the entity’s percentage, shall we say, if he is to be harvested for the negative?

Ra: I am Ra. The entity who wishes to pursue the path of service to self must attain a grade of five, that is five percent service to others, ninety-five percent service to self. It must approach totality. The negative path is quite difficult to attain harvestability upon and requires great dedication.

And this Choice is a choice that we do not make only once, but we make it continuously in order to keep our polarization in consciousness more and more powerful and effective in advancing us on our spiritual paths as Carla said in the quote from Living the Law of One 101: The Choice (pg.59):

“An interesting feature of taking either path of increasing polarization is the cornerstone importance of the First Choice for service to others or service to self which you make with full awareness of the significance of such a Choice. If you have put your whole self behind this First Choice, it is as though you had dug out and leveled the base of your metaphysical “house,” made the forms and poured the concrete for its foundation.

Now that your foundation Choice has been made to be of service to others, you have made your first move in the Game of Life. This remainder of the incarnation is your allotted time to continue to play this Game of Life you have begun.

Each consecutive service-to-others ethical decision which you make doubles your positive polarity. If you falter and make a service-to-self choice, you have to begin another series of consistenly love-filled choices in order to polarize further.”

As we seek to make our choices of service to others on a consistent basis we often find that we are faced with emotional catalyst through the mirroring effect that is hard to deal with. Q’uo gave some suggestions as to how such catalyst may be observed:

The great value of groups that come together in order to serve is that they reflect two ways. They reflect out into the world, as is the conscious intention of such a group. One is able to create, as an offer to the community, projects and systematic attempts to serve that are able to be offered over a period of time with steadiness and stability. This takes a group of people out of themselves and lets them have a look at living their beliefs in such a way that they are truly of service to others.

The hidden benefit of such a group is the opportunity that the members of such a group offer to each other for learning about themselves. This instrument has spoken often about the mirroring effect of other people in her life. And certainly, this mirroring effect is greatly enhanced when a group which is conscious of wishing to be of service comes together in commonality of purpose and offers friendship and companionship, one to the other.

Each entity becomes a mirror that reflects back to the self what the self is creating and expressing within that group. Certainly, many of the reflections which one receives from such a hall of mirrors, as this instrument has called a spiritually-oriented group, may be warped or distorted in some way, therefore not offering a completely accurate image. However, the colorations and distortions offered by each entity within the group are in themselves interesting and offer in some cases that precious item which is so often under-appreciated by your peoples; that is catalyst. Even those who may see you in a critical or otherwise distorted fashion are of benefit to you in that they offer you material upon which to work both by using your powers of analysis and your powers of intuition and insight. Q’uo, August 24, 2005.

Frequently spiritual seekers of truth join together with those of like mind to offer service to the world around them in one way or another according to the interests and combined abilities of those in the group. As they participate in this service there is also a more personal interaction that Q’uo describe as the “mirroring effect” that can present catalyst according to how the individuals within the group see each other from time to time and how they share what they see with each other even when, or especially when, it is of an unexpectedly critical or negative nature. When such catalyst is experienced Q’uo suggested that it is well if the one experiencing such catalyst use the tools of intellectual analysis, intuition, and insight to attempt to distill the relevant information from the catalyst. I believe that the intellectual analysis is a good place to begin processing the catalyst, but the insight that can be gained from utilizing one’s intuition might be the tool that could provide the most valuable information in seeing to the heart of the experience for the seeker. This could be seen as the work of the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This ends the re-write of Chapter Two, and I would like to let everyone know that Chapter Three will focus on how we can prepare ourselves for the higher Game, how to live our lives consciously in a way that enables us to process our catalyst so that we can grow and polarize our consciousness in the service-to-others sense as Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning a friend joined me in transplanting more flowers into the Ruins Mound and the flower garden in the center of the Moss Garden. She is from southern Illinois and will be helping me this weekend get ready for our Homecoming Gathering at the end of May by helping me complete the transplanting of flowers and also the washing of windows. The process is almost complete.

The Inarticulate Voice

I am the spirit of the consciousness of love and I greet you in the name of Jesus the Christ.

We are principles of consciousness, the kind of consciousness in which all distorted consciousnesses have their origin.

As in all consciousness, we are inarticulate messengers and are able to impress the paradigms and motivations of love upon the mind and heart of the pilgrim only to the extent that the consciousness of the pilgrim is slanted towards the bias of the articulation of love’s message for each and for the harmony of creation.

Thus, even if one seeks the voice of the spirit, it is also well to seek the consciousness of intuition and articulation of feelings. For it is in small and often inarticulate ways that the voice of the spirit speaks. And it is the wise pilgrim which has prepared the mind and heart for that still, small voice, expecting not the poverty of intellectual articulation but the riches of clear bias.

We leave you in peace, both now and always. Amen.

I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Two and the concept of common emotions we all experience:

Common Emotions We All Experience

Our emotions are rich opportunities for spiritual growth even when they are of a difficult nature and cause us a great deal of traumatic catalyst as we experience them. At some point in our lives we all experience emotions like heartbreak, the loss of a loved one, betrayal, abuse, and self-doubt and they can bring us a great deal of suffering and difficulty. In 34.6, Ra gave us the general principle of how we may deal with such difficult emotions:

Questioner: Thank you. Can you give me examples of catalytic action to produce learning under each of the following headings from the last session we had… Can you give me an example of the self unmanifested producing learning catalyst?

Ra: I am Ra. We observed your interest in the catalyst of pain. This experience is most common among your entities. The pain may be of the physical complex. More often it is of the mental and emotional complex. In some few cases the pain is spiritual in complex-nature. This creates a potential for learning. The lessons to be learned vary. Almost always these lessons include patience, tolerance, and the ability for the light touch.

Very often the catalyst for emotional pain, whether it be the death of the physical complex of one other-self which is loved or some other seeming loss, will simply result in the opposite, in a bitterness, an impatience, a souring. This is catalyst which has gone awry. In these cases, then, there will be additional catalyst provided to offer the unmanifested self further opportunities for discovering the self as all-sufficient Creator containing all that there is and full of joy.

But it is usually not so easy to be able to see the overview that Ra speaks of when we deal with emotions such as heartbreak, loss of a loved one, or a broken marriage, either for ourselves or for one whom we love. In this case Q’uo had some good advice for dealing with these types of heartbreak:

Therefore, my friends, concentrate upon simple goals, upon attaining some fair portion closer and closer to fifty percent of your thoughts and actions which are kind or intended to be loving or intended to [be] joyful. You do this in the face of a world in which the illusion exposes you to many unfortunate and irreconcilable disappointments. If all things are well with you, then it is a friend of a loved one who is struggling. You gaze at one with who has come face to face with the traumas of broken marriage or advanced and debilitating old age or the loss of a mate or a child or some other heartbreak, and there is nothing that you can say that will make the one who grieves comforted because the illusion causes many conditions to appear utterly disconsolate. But if you go back to meditation, if you return to that portion of yourself which is silent and holy, you find gifts there heaped upon one another which answer the illusion but which you cannot explain.

Now, this is unfortunate, seemingly. You find gifts within you, and yet you cannot explain them. How, then, can you help others? You find your joy, you find love, you find the source of unity within you that binds all things as one. You find that comfort which faces death, disappointment and heartbreak, and says that every tear shall be dry. “This I know,” and you cannot communicate it. What then shall you do? My friends, you shall be instruments. You shall desire first in meditation for yourself to know the free-flowing beauty of love, the infinite and merciful kindness of creative compassion, the utterly simple faith that beneath all appearances lies a consciousness that is one with you and with the universe which precludes judgment. These things shall you find, and you shall not cease in your seeking until you have found these gifts, for they are your birthright. Do not be satisfied with less. Open that door of silence and ask, for the asking is irresistible, and then in the fullness of the answer let the flow begin and become you as much and as often as you are capable of functioning in this manner. Q’uo, April 25, 1993.

Though Q’uo suggested that our choice of service to others could be helpful to another who is suffering heartbreak for any of a myriad of reasons, their suggestion that we return to meditation and seek the inner gifts of joy, love, and unity we can also rely on these gifts to help us begin to resolve any heartbreak that we may feel. When we share this process with others it is a type of spiritual counseling which we may offer in our meditations and in conversations with our friends and loved ones who have suffered a heartbreaking situation. Sometimes just listening to a person describe their traumatic situation is very helpful because it is always good to know that someone else cares about us when we are undergoing such difficulties. Just being able to talk about them begins a road that can eventually lead to a healing of the heartbreak.

The difficult emotions that come from abuse may also be used for spiritual growth according to pre-incarnative choices—as may all kinds of emotional distress such as heartbreak, to loss of a loved one, and betrayal. In the following quote Q’uo speaks specifically to the concept of abuse:

However early in life these abuses begin to occur, they leave a mark. And while a scar is only that which is upon the surface, there are scars that go much deeper than physical scars. Healing from such memories—even unconscious memories of abuse—is greatly facilitated by the ability to talk through such experiences, such half-hidden memories as each may have, so that each can support each, each can comfort each, and each can forgive each. For there is a guilt implicit in the shutting off of human companionship even though it is necessary for the experience of safety to be had. And this crux, this time, for the ones known as A and B, is a time for such examination, such discussion, and such healing. The one known as A asked if this indeed had been a situation planned by his higher self, by the guidance system that was co-planner of this incarnation with the one known as A before incarnation, and we may confirm this. It is not that the situation was set up in order that the one known as A and the one known as B may learn thus and so; rather, it was set up so that the one known as A and the one known as B may learn—and teach each other as they learn from each other. We may say that this is a situation in which both come to the relationship untrammeled by previous karma. There is balanced karma within this relationship. Each is completely free to love and serve the other without regard for previous lessons, previous incarnations, or previous hopes and fears. You may come to the situation knowing that you are fresh and new and hopeful with each other. Q’uo, October 10, 2004.

As Ra said at various times, “There are no mistakes.” We all have come here to learn certain lessons that we have programmed in a manner which may seem very traumatic to experience, but the very nature of dealing with trauma can imbed the lessons more deeply into our being and thusly enhance our spiritual journeys. However, it is well to remember that using the balancing exercises to deal with each type of difficult emotion is the most effective means of learning these lessons.

Such is also true of the concept of self-doubt. Q’uo shared some valuable information on how we can deal with self-doubt when they said:

We would encourage you to lift away from self-judgment at times that you feel you have made an error. It is well to observe errors in yourself when they occur. That is how one learns, by making mistakes. As entities become more and more spiritually mature, they find delight in using the fruits of their self-knowledge of the past, and so the heavy burden of self-doubt and a feeling of low self-worth is a little bit easier to dissolve. Yet always there is a disappointment that strikes a seeker when he realizes that he has made an error. He cannot go back and fix it. He simply must begin again and hope to remember the graceful way, the loving way, the compassionate way to handle catalyst of this kind when it comes around again, as it most surely will.

Self-criticism and self-judgment are powerful sources of blockage. There is within many seekers the desire to make a difference in the world, to help others and serve good causes. Yet, in that same general run of seekers there is often a prejudice against working on the self, for it seems selfish to be absorbed in the processes of the self. It is our opinion that it is in healing yourself that you heal the world. It is in learning to love yourself that you learn to love others. It is in finding compassion at last for yourself that you are finally able to have compassion on others. It is in blessing your own suffering by respecting it, honoring it, and forgiving it in yourself that you become able to behold the suffering of the world in its massive and almost infinite depth. Q’uo, November 24, 2007.

Q’uo suggested that it is important for each of us to realize that we will make mistakes from time to time. We are all human, or as Carla used to say, “We are all bozos on this bus.” So it would be helpful if we could learn to accept ourselves and love ourselves and realize that as conscientious seekers of truth we are always doing our best to be of service to others, but sometimes we will occasionally make mistakes. In 96.4, Ra suggested it is our intentions that are the important factor in our attempts to be of service when they described how we were hoping to clean our new home in Georgia:

May we note that just as each entity strives in each moment to become more nearly one with the Creator but falls short, just so is physical spotlessness striven for but not achieved. In each case the purity of intention and thoroughness of manifestation are appreciated. The variance between the attempt and the goal is never noted and may be considered unimportant.

Dealing with difficult emotions of all kinds and being willing to face ourselves as clearly as possible in each situation is part of the spiritual path of the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning I made an errand run with my first stop being at Thieneman’s Nursery to buy some more flowers. My second and last stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market to buy more food for myself. When I got back home I vacuumed the first floor of the house.

This afternoon I went outside and used my chain saw to cut down the weigelia tree next to the fish pond that died over the winter. It had about a dozen stalks coming out of the ground that were about 30-40 feet long and some of them were leaning towards the fence that surrounds my perennial giant hibiscus garden. That meant that I had to make a cut most of the way through them that would take them in another direction when I pushed them that way. Fortunately the stalks were only three or four inches in diameter, so it was fairly easy to push them away from the fence around the giant hibiscus garden. Now I just have to cut them all up in lengths of about four feet so I can put them in garbage cans for yard waste pickup next week.

Praise And Thanksgiving In Your Heart

I am of the spirit of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

Take this moment to become more and more in touch with that feeling of praise and thanksgiving that is in your heart this day. The trees praise the Lord. The hills and valleys rejoice. And the burgeoning flowers move through the earth to the sun in bursts of pleasure and chanting of happiness to the winds.

It may seem that there are obstacles to your joy and that the world is not one which you would praise. Yet gaze you at your own hands and at the mind of the Father which created such tools.

Gaze at the incessantly changing colors of your thoughts and behold the beauty of the creation of the Father.

Look at those who have served you and those whom you have served, those who have displeased you and those whom you have displeased, and praise the Father Who gives you freedom to make your own decisions about His creation; Who urges you to pick and choose, to think and select and grow.

The more your heart may stand in the light of faith, praising and giving thanksgiving, the more yet again shall the spirit find this opportunity to be granted unto you in happy harvest.

The first word of praise in any day is an act of blind faith and brings the heart into peaceful concert with the harmonious plan of the Father.

May you choose to dwell in that peace, now and forever. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Two and the section on where do emotions come from:

Where Do Emotions Come From?

At the roots of consciousness lie rivers of purified emotion that are as gems, perfectly and regularly refracting from the white light of unlimited energy the colorations of energy which are called emotion which express essences which the Creator has previously learned about Itself. These essences are as great truths into which the seeker taps, however imperfectly and however distortedly, as it moves through catalyst and encounters difficulties and meets challenges.

Each has felt those moments when a tiny thing triggered a massive flood of emotion. And when this occurs it is an excellent signal from the self to the self that here is a gift that is imperfectly seen, perhaps, but that is real. That moves into the experience as a done thing, as something that is felt, not created. Emotions are messages from the unconscious or deeper self to the conscious self. Now, there are various levels of messages and various layers to emotions. It is not a simple practice to enter into one’s emotions and to attempt to come into a deeper understanding of the heart of those emotions, not simply what triggered the emotion, but what kind of emotion it essentially is and what challenge it represents. In this wise it is often helpful to think of the centers of energy within the physical body, for difficult emotions often can be placed within certain energy centers and can be seen as messages expressing to the heart the need for working with those aspects of those emotions which are disturbing in such a way as to be able to balance and clarify those feelings. For there is a deeper truth within each emotion. The key to working on emotions is to realize the seat of emotion, shall we say, as being the green-ray energy center or heart chakra. Q’uo, May 7, 2000.

Q’uo mentions that our emotions are a type of energy which the “Creator has previously learned about Itself.” This is a reference to the purpose of the infinite universe of the Creator is for the Creator to know Itself through the free will choices that each of us makes on our spiritual paths of seeking reunion with the Creator. This also suggests that our emotions may also be pre-incarnative in nature. Oftentimes we may feel that our emotions come out of the blue with no warning, but Q’uo suggested that when such a “massive flood of emotion” flows through us we are being given a “gift” that we may or may not be able to correctly perceive at first glance because they are from our unconscious mind or deeper self.

So in working with our deep emotions we are working with powerful feelings that link us to the Creator through many incarnations of experience through our unconscious mind. Q’uo also suggested that in working with our deep emotions we need to realize that our heart chakras are the “seat of emotion” which makes sense since the love of the Logos is that power that created the universe and is available to each of us as we open our hearts in unconditional love for all other selves. Ra suggested that there is love in every moment, and Q’uo described that our deeper emotions are some permutation of this love.

Q’uo also said that we can work with these emotions in relation to how they may be expressed in each energy center. Perhaps disturbing emotions might be linked with the red-ray energy center and express themselves via our sexuality or our basic survival needs. Or they may express through our orange-ray energy center in our relations with one other self with both of us exercising our individual eccentricities in a difficult way. These difficult emotions might also express themselves through our yellow-ray energy center in groups such as our family, school, work place, etc. The green-ray energy center could also become closed in giving unconditional love when such disharmonies arise. The blue-ray energy center is often a source of problems when unclear communication occurs. I would think that the difficulties of the green and blue-ray energy centers would be relatively rare because as Ra said: “The basic polarities have to do with the balanced vibratory rates and relationships between the first three energy centers and, to a lesser extent, each of the other energy centers.” (66.20) And, for that same reason I would think that the indigo and violet-ray energy centers would have even less likelihood of being part of dealing with difficult emotions.

Q’uo also linked the catalyst of emotions with the archetypical mind:

Emotions begin with highly colored, impulsive reactions and responses to catalyst. They take one by surprise. They are not planned. This is why they bear truths as a gift. You cannot fool yourself into feeling an emotion. It simply is there and you recognize it.

However, emotions do not stay on the surface for the persistent seeker who is willing to abide with and enjoy the company of these emotions. They begin to have a deeper life. As one feels these emotions again and again, there comes the opportunity, each time the emotion is repeated, to work with that emotion, to embrace it and honor it and to gaze at it to see from what catalyst it has arisen.

When one is persistently fearless with emotions and is able to sit with the self as it experiences an emotion flowing through, there is a gradual deepening of that emotion. Eventually, as repetition and work in consciousness with these emotions begins to yield its fruits, the seeker begins to have glimpses of the refined and purified emotion that started out so highly colored. And eventually that emotion can take one into the archetypical mind, where the deepest of truths may be found.

In the archetypal mind these emotions flow like underground rivers, emptying into the sea of bliss and unconditional love that is the beginning and ending of all that is. As they wend their way through the archetypal mind, they water the myths which make up the roots of consciousness. The stories of your soul are emotional and have a shape and a direction to them. This is the beauty of that highly colored and uncomfortable surface emotion that the seeker first experiences. Q’uo, January 7, 2008.

Q’uo’s observations as to how the catalyst of surface emotions can be worked with on deeper levels are interesting as this process suggests that there are deeper layers of truth as to how the source of our emotions may be distorted as we experience them and consciously work with them over a long span of time. Q’uo said that within our archetypical mind the source of our emotions is the “sea of bliss and unconditional love” which we would share with all other selves as the foundation of our beingness. The various facets of our archetypical mind become the “myths which make up the roots of consciousness.” This would seem to be the first distortion or personalization of the “sea of bliss and unconditional love” that the archetypical mind would derive from the cosmic mind of the Creator. As we live our third-density incarnations we usually perceive only the barest essence of these basic qualities of “unconditional love.” In fact, we are more likely to engage in emotions that come from our subconscious minds and/or from previous incarnations and which take the form of pre-incarnative choices for this lifetime. We may program a variety of emotions that would give us opportunities to activate and balance any of our energy centers according to previous work on them in other incarnations.

My use of the emotion of anger reflects this pre-incarnative programming process as Ra mentioned in 59.3:

Questioner: I have a question from Jim that states: “I think I have penetrated the mystery of my lifelong anger at making mistakes. I think I have always been aware subconsciously of my abilities to master new learnings, but my desire to successfully complete my mission on Earth has been energized by the Orion group into irrational and destructive anger when I fail. Could you comment on this observation?”

Ra: I am Ra. We would suggest that as this entity is aware of its position as a Wanderer, it may also consider what pre-incarnative decisions it undertook to make regarding the personal or self-oriented portion of the choosing to be here at this particular time/space. This entity is aware, as stated, that it has great potential, but potential for what? This is the pre-incarnative question. The work of sixth density is to unify wisdom and compassion. This entity abounds in wisdom. The compassion it is desirous of balancing has, as its antithesis, lack of compassion. In the more conscious being this expresses or manifests itself as lack of compassion for self. We feel this is the sum of suggested concepts for thought which we may offer at this time without infringement.

I have told this story before, but I think it bears repeating as it relates directly to the use of the catalyst of emotions as a pre-incarnative choice.

The way that I used the emotion of anger to balance my wisdom was to spend most of the first 68 years of my life breaking tools I was working with when I made a mistake. Super glue and duct tape were my best friends throughout this process of expressing anger at myself. Finally, one night just before I was going to bed the power cord came out of my computer three times, and I whacked the back of the monitor on my computer and broke it. As I went to bed I asked myself a question: “Now I have gotten angry and broken another valuable tool. I wonder what would happen if I could love myself now in the pit of my despair?” Immediately my heart started beating fast and tears were streaming out of my eyes, and I knew I finally loved myself. And, apparently, I had also just exercised a pre-incarnative choice to balance wisdom with compassion.

And this may be the case for so many seekers of truth who are beset with difficult emotions and have no conscious idea where these emotions have come from or what to do about them. If we are fortunate enough to discover where they come from, I think it is helpful to work with them consciously to gain as much understanding of their nature and effect on us as we can, but the healing of them is a work in consciousness which we accomplish when we use the balancing exercise that Ra gave us in 5.2, which I described in the first section of this chapter, Resistance Leads to Growth.

This morning I used my small lawn mower to mow the grass in the area of the sump pump drainage pipes which I have been watering for a few weeks now. I also made another errand run with my first stop being at Thieneman’s Nursery to pick up some more flowers for the flower garden in the center of the Moss Garden. Then I stopped in at Paul’s Fruit Market to pick up more food for myself and for a friend who will be joining me this weekend to help me get ready for Homecoming by transplanting these flowers and washing windows.

This afternoon I took Mr. Mush to the vet where it was discovered that he has been having trouble eating because he has a clogged salivary gland. The vet gave him a mild sedative and proceeded to unplug the salivary gland, so we are hopeful that it will be easier for him to eat now.

Love Awaits

I am the principle of the full consciousness of love. I greet you in the love of Jesus the Christ.

Love does not often drive out hate, although it can, for love’s compassion limits the full sway of vengeance.

Hate cannot replace love though it attempts again and again to make love its victim.

Thus the comfort of the consciousness of love is available to one whether one is in a state of positive or negative emotions. For the dealings of the two polarities are separate, negative polarity being the choice to separate from positive unity.

Therefore, there is never any need to be uncomforted, for we are the principle of love brought into creation for the benefit of those pilgrims who seek in manifestation. We would not see one soul in pain.

Yet we do not wish to batter down the doors to your hearts, for that is not love’s way. Rather, we wait. Please ask us in to the deepest and darkest of the rooms of your heart, for therein, too, lies comfort for those who seek it from Jesus the Christ.

We leave you in peace, now and always.

Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Two and the section on third density is all about choice:

Third Density Is All About Choice:

In the February 10, 2008 session, Q’uo says:

It is not that this new paradigm can be put into effect and a new fourth-density planet be created in third density. That is not what we are saying. What we’re saying is that in third density the focus, in terms of the purpose of third density, is upon each emerging self-aware spirit or soul becoming able to make the free-will choice between the polarity of service to others and the polarity of service to self through faith alone.

This Choice of polarity is the means by which we are able to point the needle of the compass for our life patterns as we move through the 75,000 year cycle of the third-density illusion. The Choice can either be at least 51% of our thoughts, words, and deeds being in service to others, or it can be the Choice of service to self which must be at least 95% in separation from and control of others. This is a choice that cannot just be made once but must be made on a daily basis and become engrained into our being so that it becomes the song of our heart (for the positive polarity) and a song of unconditional love that is that is based upon our faith that this Choice will allow us to be graduated into the fourth density of love and understanding. Many times, as we continue to make this Choice of service to others, we discover emotions within us that help us to understand the unique lessons that we are here to learn. In this quote Q’uo reveals the importance of our emotions that we can eventually use in determining this Choice that we make in our life paths:

Each of your emotions has a perfect crystalline nature. It is buried within the distortions that keep you from seeing and hearing the beauty of that note of feeling, that emotion. So when you experience emotions, know that you are receiving information from a deep source, that is, from that large portion of your consciousness that resides at a level below the threshold of conscious awareness. Where words cannot go, emotions become vocabulary.

So as you gaze at yourself reacting emotionally we ask that you realize that it is not at all your job to remove emotion. Nor is it desirable, in our opinion, that the emotions be altered because you feel they should be altered. Rather, we would suggest that [with] these emotions that strike you as being less than pure, to sit with that emotion, to re-experience that emotion, to move about in that feeling state, and to gaze without fear and without haste at that experience that you have collected. As you spend the time to contemplate that situation in which the emotion became embedded, perhaps you can begin to see some of where the distortions are within your own vibratory complex. This is valuable information, but not to the conscious mind. Rather, it is the subconscious mind which reaps the benefits of your contemplating those things which have moved you.

We have often said that your third-density incarnation may be seen as a school in which the illusion’s purpose is to drive the third-density seeker from the head to the heart. Whereas intellectual thoughts have light energy, shall we say, it may be said that emotions have heart energy; and because of this, the emotions contain more profound information than any wisdom which the brain can encompass and speak concerning. For emotions move in waters too deep to contain words, and it is at this depth that the changes that you desired to make prior to this incarnation may be affected. Thusly, even though it seems as though reflecting upon one’s emotions is the work of analysis and intellect, indeed it is actually exercising that muscle of faith and allowing that opening between conscious and subconscious mind to be kept open while you do what you can to open the self to a wider and deeper grasp of the situation in which the emotions were concerned. Q’uo, December 15, 1996.

So as conscious seekers of truth who wish to actively participate in our spiritual growth, we need to learn to choose to see catalyst and emotions as opportunities for accelerating our spiritual journeys. There are no “bad” emotions as all emotions can help us grow. We grow by processing all emotions in a way that is congruent with our pre-incarnative choices. In 94.11, Ra mentioned how our deeper minds bias the catalyst of our emotions and experience in a way that aids our polarization towards service to others:

Questioner: I have drawn a small diagram in which I simply show an arrow which represents catalyst penetrating a line at right angles to the arrow, which is the veil, and then depositing in one of two repositories, one which I would call on the right-hand path, one on the left-hand path; and I have labeled these two repositories for the catalytic action as it’s filtered through the veil “the Experience.” Would this be a very rough analogy of the way the catalyst is filtered through the veil to become experience?

Ra: I am Ra. Again, you are partially correct. The deeper biases of a mind/body/spirit complex pilot the catalyst around the many isles of positivity and negativity as expressed in the archipelago of the deeper mind. However, the analogy is incorrect in that it does not take into account the further polarization which most certainly is available to the conscious mind after it has perceived the partially polarized catalyst from the deeper mind.

So our deeper mind aids us in helping us to see our incarnational lessons by providing a lens, you might say, through which we interpret our daily catalyst. Most of our daily catalyst will come to us in the form of our emotional responses to people, thoughts or situations that we encounter during each day of our lives. All of this emotional catalyst is food for spiritual growth. In 42.4-.5, Ra stated that love is the appropriate response to any such catalyst, which could also be seen as the Choice of service to others being the goal of all emotions:

Questioner: Would a perfectly balanced entity feel an emotional response when being attacked by the other-self?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. The response is love.

Questioner: In the illusion that we now experience it is difficult to maintain this response especially if the entity’s attack results in physical pain, but I assume that this response should be maintained even through physical loss of life or extreme pain. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct and further is of a major or principal importance in understanding, shall we say, the principle of balance. Balance is not indifference but rather the observer not blinded by any feelings of separation but rather fully imbued with love.

For the actual balancing or processing of the catalyst of emotions that can eventually help us to make the Choice of polarity and to become the Creator, I would refer you to the section from yesterday’s Camelot Journal entry on Resistance Leads to Growth.

This morning I had an appointment with my foot doctor who took an X-Ray of my left foot where the stress fracture was and determined it was still looking perfectly healed. On my way home I stopped at Thieneman’s Garden Center and bought some Lanta, Celosia, and Red Salvia. I also stopped by Paul’s Fruit Market to get some food for myself.

This afternoon I planted the flowers I bought at Thieneman’s in the Ruins Mound between the house and the garage. When seen with the flowers there now there is a good mix of colors all around the mound.

Remove The Wall

I am of the principle of Jesus Christ which is called divine love. I greet you in unconditional and eternal love, no matter who you are, no matter how you feel about yourself, Creator, Jesus the Son of Man or about love Itself.

You hear this voice over a wall of your own making. We suggest to you gently this day that you may set about the work of removing that wall. There is a brick of self-condemnation; there a brick of hardened dislike admitting no reprieve; there an envy. What a brick that is and how firm the mortar!

You have so many possessive, hungry, sorrowful, suffering and lonely thoughts creating an anger and loneliness that says, “Where is comfort? Why do you speak to me of unconditional love when I experience hardship, worry and limitation of all kinds?”

We are the spirit of peace and love. And through the breath of this instrument we express in the world today, just as it is. For in its imperfection, how perfect, how lovely, how beautiful is the dwelling place of each soul and the soul that dwells therein!

May you learn to love, a little at a time. But first, with the tools of forgiveness, remove the wall that stands between you and the comforting, strengthening and enabling force of unconditional love for you that awaits you on the other side of self-forgiveness.

We leave you in the utter peace of that condition and in the strengthening which that condition gives you to serve others in peace and joy. In these we leave you, now and ever.

Amen.

Today the quote from 102 involves a re-write of Chapter Two that was suggested by my new editing team, Joanna Burns and Austin Bridges, as they felt that the material in Chapter Two, dealing with the concept of “The Fork in the Road,” had been covered fairly well in Carla’s Living the Law of One 101: The Choice where she talks about the positive and negative polarities. However, “The Fork in the Road” also deals with the time before the veil when there was only the positive polarity and third-density entities had to repeat third density many times, and this particular concept was not dealt with in 101. So there may be another place in 102 where “The Fork in the Road” Chapter may fit inI.  They felt that the first three chapters of 102 need to be the foundation for the rest of the book. Carla wrote the first chapter, so it is perfect as it is. Re-writing Chapter Two and portions of Chapter Three then should set the stage for the rest of the book. So the first section of Chapter Two today will be on the topic of:

Resistance Leads to Growth

Enter into the darkness, the small death of negative feelings. If not at the moment, as soon as possible go down into the darkness of your own perceptions and listen to your own being. It suffers to change, to become new, to move on. A portion of that which you are expressing must die. Let this be as it is.

The verb to communicate is extremely important in this work. Allow heavy feeling to communicate, to become intelligible. Do not swat it away or cover it up. If time must pass before this acceptance of the self can take place, then that is well. But to most efficiently use the goodness of catalyst, the intensity and seeming reality of the nuances of this dark emotion need to be remembered and respected. This acts like a benediction. The suffering of self is thus forgiven by the self which respects these seemingly unacceptable feelings. This allows the energy in these feelings to resume the natural spiraling upward. Denial and resistance attempt to control and abate the suffering. Acceptance and attentiveness within the very darkness is a way to allow the self to be transformed naturally. You have often, perhaps, considered how the child is born into incarnation in pain. Yet the mother is, in the end, totally accepting of this pain, for it has brought about a beloved new life.

In the matter of the spirit’s learning the lesson of love, you are both mother and midwife to the growing child of transformed consciousness that is your continual identity within the chances and changes of illusory incarnational life. Q’uo, March 22, 1993.

As Carla said in Chapter One we are here on Earth in our present incarnations to learn and to grow. This is not often an easy process. As Q’uo mentioned, our growth process usually involves the moving into the deeper portions of our being, so deep as to be experienced as darkness in which our growth evolves as we let the more negative, or unhelpful, portions of ourselves die away. This death of a portion of ourselves will likely produce a suffering that may be difficult, and we may be tempted to resist this suffering whereas if we use “acceptance and attentiveness” in the darkness we can actually become transformed by allowing the death of the less harmonious portions of ourselves to fall away. This reminds me of how the resonating chamber below the ground in the Great Pyramid at Giza functions to allow the adept to face itself so that the old self dies and a new self is reborn as Ra mentioned here in 65.20:

Questioner: I don’t know if this question is related to what I am trying to get at or not, but I’ll ask it and see. You mentioned in speaking of the pyramids that the resonating chamber was used so that the adept could meet the self. Would you explain what you meant by that?

Ra: I am Ra. One meets the self in the center or deeps of the being. The so-called resonating chamber may be likened unto the symbology of the burial and resurrection of the body wherein the entity dies to self and through this confrontation of apparent loss and realization of essential gain, is transmuted into a new and risen being.

So as difficult as the emotion of suffering is for the seeker of truth, eventually we must realize that it is a very helpful form of catalyst that we can process into spiritual growth. As we begin our spiritual paths in this third-density illusion we start as what might be called untuned instruments, and we need to become conscious of the nature of our spiritual journey by doing what Carla referred to in 101as tuning ourselves to “Concert A” which is our vibration of the emotion of unconditional love, the divine Love of the Logos.

Here Q’uo outlines the process by which we can use any emotions to promote our spiritual growth:

Surface emotions are usually quite impure. However, when one can abide with one’s feelings and observe them as though they were guests coming to tea, offering them hospitality and courtesy, sitting with them and listening to them, then the emotions have found respect and honor. And this allows them to go deeper, interconnecting the [surface] self with the deepest part of the roots of consciousness. For this is what emotions eventually become if they are allowed to go through the process of purification.

There is a beauty to each emotion when it has been purified and it is pure feeling with no distortion. Thus, we would say that instead of looking at emotions as something to work around, the one who seeks clarity needs to spend time honoring the emotions that seem so inconvenient and excessive. Physically taking the time to process emotions is very helpful. Emotions call to you and when you can answer by sitting with these guests that are speaking to you in certain colors, then those colors gradually lose the muddy characteristics of surface emotions and become more and more clear. Q’uo, May 24, 2008.

So when we can realize that our deepest emotions offer us the opportunity for understanding ourselves more and more clearly, we are utilizing them for the highest and best purpose of enhancing our spiritual growth. We don’t have to be afraid of them or avoid feeling them. Instead we can use the process of balancing our emotions that Ra recommended in 5.2:

To begin to master the concept of mental discipline it is necessary to examine the self. The polarity of your dimension must be internalized. Where you find patience within your mind you must consciously find the corresponding impatience and vice versa. Each thought that a being has, has in its turn an antithesis. The disciplines of the mind involve, first of all, identifying both those things of which you approve and those things of which you disapprove within yourself, and then balancing each and every positive and negative charge with its equal. The mind contains all things. Therefore, you must discover this completeness within yourself.

The second mental discipline is acceptance of the completeness within your consciousness. It is not for a being of polarity in the physical consciousness to pick and choose among attributes, thus building the roles that cause blockages and confusions in the already-distorted mind complex. Each acceptance smoothes part of the many distortions that the faculty you call judgment engenders.

The third discipline of the mind is a repetition of the first but with the gaze outward towards the fellow entities that it meets. In each entity there exists completeness. Thus, the ability to understand each balance is necessary. When you view patience, you are responsible for mirroring in your mental understanding, patience/impatience. When you view impatience, it is necessary for your mental configuration of understanding to be impatience/patience. We use this as a simple example. Most configurations of mind have many facets, and understanding of either self polarities, or what you would call other-self polarities, can and must be understood as subtle work.

So the way that the balancing of emotions may be processed is in meditation at the end of your day. Take whatever emotion, good or bad, happy or sad, and review how it came to be. Then intensify the emotion until it is magnified as much as possible. Then visualize its opposite and allow it to become equally magnified within your mind. Then accept yourself for having these emotions as means by which to know yourself better and to accept yourself more and more as a 360 degree being, the One Infinite Creator as Ra described in 74.11:

The heart of the discipline of the personality is threefold. One, know yourself. Two, accept yourself. Three, become the Creator.

The third step is that step which, when accomplished, renders one the most humble servant of all, transparent in personality and completely able to know and accept other-selves. In relation to the pursuit of the magical working the continuing discipline of the personality involves the adept in knowing itself, accepting itself, and thus clearing the path towards the great indigo gateway to the Creator. To become the Creator is to become all that there is. There is then no personality in the sense with which the adept begins its learn/teaching. As the consciousness of the indigo ray becomes more crystalline, more work may be done; more may be expressed from intelligent infinity.

This is a process that could well take the greater portion of the life path to accomplish, but this is the work of the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning I made an errand run to The Home Depot and purchased eight Speedwell Veronica and then dropped them off at home. Then I took Mr. Mush to the vet to see it anything could be done to help him eat as he has a bubble of some kind on the left side of his mouth that he swats at with both paws while making a coughing sound. They pierced the bubble and set up an appointment to bring him back Thursday afternoon to see if the bubble has drained. Then I got some gas at Speedway and went on to Paul’s Fruit Market where I got some food for myself. My last stop was at Walgreen’s where I bought some non food items and picked up a prescription for toothpaste.

This afternoon I completed the weeding of my yard by using my trimmer in the Secret Garden and the Ruins Mound. Then I transplanted the Speedwell Veronica on the Ruins Mound. My last job was to till up the ground in the back corner of the yard next to the Astilbe garden. The I spread some grass seed and raked it into the ground with a garden rake. We are due to get a few days of rain this weekend, and I thought I might take advantage of that forecast to see if I can get some grass growing in this area.

By What Star Shall You Steer

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full and divine love of creation and Creator.

Does it not seem to you somehow unusual that we who accept the phrase of Holy Spirit never call ourselves holy and that we who are the spirit of the living Christ never call Jesus Christ, Lord?

We are of the principle of full and divine consciousness and as such we are servants of your souls, those who love the spirit within you.

It is for you to choose what principle guides your life, by what star you shall steer. Shall it be the love of Jesus Christ and shall you call Jesus Christ Lord of your life? That is your decision.

Your capacity for worship is your own private treasure. May you ever enlarge and make more noble and uplifted your times of worship and adoration! And if, as yet, you do not worship and do not adore, then spend more time in the inner room of silence, listening, in the growing awareness of love.

We leave you in the love and peace of Jesus the Christ, now and ever. Amen.

2023

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Five and the concept of company activities—making a home and family at work:

Company activities—making a home and family at work

Those of like mind which together seek shall far more surely find.” Ra, 83.17

This quote from Ra gives us a good idea as to what kind of enhanced opportunities are available to people in their work environment when they blend their energies together in an harmonic manner. This takes the concept of the team further until it is like a family. No matter what kind of work is being accomplished, if people can become equal partners in the process of deciding what to do, why to do it, and how to do it, then the talents of each person will be utilized to their fullest potential. This is a model for the workplace that is the opposite of the traditional authority flowing from the top management down to the lowly workers who are valued only by how well they take and carry out orders. Q’uo mentions how this type of a workplace can be transformed into a spiritual environment:

In the yellow-ray energy center, there is the opportunity to expand the energies of the One Creator upon the level of the group. The entities that are united in a certain fashion that allows them to share a commonality that is expressed within the group, such as the home, or family, the school, the workplace, the team, and so forth. These energies, in the positive sense, are utilized in order to share the abilities of the group in what you might call the “training wheels phenomenon” that will later become, if the fourth-density harvest is achieved by the society, the social memory complex. In the yellow-ray energy center, however, before that complex forms, there is the opportunity to begin to relate to other groups as if there was a common goal or feature between what, in negative polarity, is seen as competing groups.

Thus, in the positive sense, the entities share that which is theirs, that which is unique to them, with that which is needed by others in a group sense, so that two groups then become much likened unto one group. In this positive sense then, each group becomes, in effect, the other group, so that there is one group as a result. Q’uo, September 7, 2019.

It is fitting that such a cooperative workplace would be occurring now as our Earth is moving into the fourth density of love and understanding. The competitive consciousness that has long influenced the manner of people’s thinking as to how to behave towards each other is now expanding into cooperative consciousness. Such cooperative consciousness sees the intrinsic value of each human being as having the consciousness of the Creator within the open heart, and that heart gives freely in unconditional love. Q’uo speaks to the quality of the open heart and suggests how we may aid it in all of our endeavors, including making the workplace like unto a home:

As you are given grace to lift away from the stains of sorrow and toil into the ethereal beauty of that ever flowing love which is the Creator, remember to be generous, and know that that which comes through you is in utter abundance—completely unlimited in supply.

How, then, does this translate to not worrying about lacks of perfection? My friends, when one does remember that one is a portion of love, much begins to fall away. Work with these thoughts and be patient with the self. We believe you may one day look back and say, “Why yes, I believe I can feel the difference and see the progress.“ However, do not look for your getting better, but simply turn the heart and mind towards the infinite Creator, Whose creation expresses Its loving nature. Q’uo, September 5, 1993.

As we are able to transform our own perceptions of who we are and connect with the “everflowing love that is the Creator” our lives in general and our workplace in particular become like unto a family of love. This way of living and thinking becomes a transformative experience so that our workplace can become a spiritual family that extends itself in a wider and wider influence.

This is the wave of the future for all human endeavors. Everyone in the shared work environment will be seen as valuable workers in all levels of interaction in the social memory complex now forming on planet Earth. Thus it is hoped all shall become Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of life.

This afternoon I went outside and began weeding the yard since the ground is still wet from the inch of rain that we got last Friday morning. The wet ground lets me pull weeds much easier and get the roots to come out with them. I began my weeding with the four gardens that surround the fish pond. Then I weeded the area between the garage and the fire pit. My last area of weeding was the Astilbe garden in the corner of the back yard.

The 102 quote today comes from Chapter Five and the concept of the team and finding synergy with people at work:

The “Team”—finding synergy with people at work

If a team entails people working together to reach a common goal, it would seem that most people who would be part of a team would have the opportunity to be of service to others by the very nature of their interaction with others on the team. I think that this would be particularly true in the work place as the goal of such work would be to produce some product or service that could be sold and provide each person on the team a means of financial support. It would also be most helpful if the product or service that was provided by the team was such as to truly be helpful to those who would purchase it.

The various members of the team in the workplace would ideally each have specific functions to perform in order for the team to be most effective in reaching its goals. This kind of teamwork would require that each member be capable of performing its particular part of the work in a way acceptable to the team. Each member would also need to be able to clearly communicate with other members of the team as a kind of grease to the wheels of smooth functioning. Q’uo gave some inspired advice as to how we may communicate in a synergistic way with the fellow members of the workplace team:

Beyond all considerations, the chief lessons of the enterprise have always to do with accepting love from others and giving love to others without pride, vanity or feelings of unworthiness. The work that each of you does in truly entering into the energies of each of you will create creative pathways that will link in a more, shall we say, telepathic or whole-concept level so that the synergy of energy fields becomes consciously validated by belief in the opinion of those present, thus freeing those energy exchanges between each to take place at an enhanced rate. Q’uo, March 7, 2002.

Sports teams are another kind of work that would have a similar function, as the goal would be to exercise power over other teams so that the victory would belong to only one team. That is the nature of both businesses and team sports as both participate in attempting to be more successful that their competitors. Both are players on the flat gameboard of life and need to be able to communicate with fellow team members in a clear and practical way in order to achieve their goals. However, people in both these areas of activity could also use their status within their careers to work in service-to-others ways within the larger community such as supporting various charitable organizations, help with disaster relief, becoming advocates tor the homeless, and supporting programs like promoting foster parenting. Ra spoke of the more restricted kind of sports team efforts as often utilizing the orange-ray chakras:

Others of your gadgets may be seen to be tools whereby the entity explores the capabilities of its physical or mental complexes and in some few cases, the spiritual complex, thus activating the orange ray in what you call your team sports and in other gadgets such as your modes of transport. These may be seen to be ways of investigating the feelings of power; more especially, power over others or a group power over another group of other-selves.

Any time we engage in team sports we are, as Ra said, “investigating the feelings of power” because the objective of any sport is to win the game just as the team in the workplace would like to create more sales. I would say that most of the time the exercise of this power over another team is done in the spirit of friendly competition without any negative thoughts of creating injury or any type of negative polarity. Of course it is possible that certain team members may take a different stance as we all are unique beings with our own expressions or purpose and power in our life patterns.

The same situation would apply to those fans who back their teams by attending their games and cheering for them. The term “fan” is short for “fanatic”, so I can easily imagine as a fan it could become possible to harbor less-than-loving thoughts for the other team and their fans. All of these exercises of power over others in team sports or workplace teams are explorations of the nature of how to relate to others in the overall picture of our life patterns. The more mature souls would find it possible to love their opponents or business competitors as another version of themselves and be gracious in victory and in defeat on the sports field and within the life pattern. Q’uo had some inspiring words to offer regarding expanding our concept of the purpose of teams:

Q’uo, September 17, 2019.

Whatever work we do as a team, whether in business or sports, is a means of coming together to achieve a commonly held goal. Q’uo called this the “training wheels phenomenon” and is simply a way in which we can pursue our spiritual path in being of service to others. This is the journey of the player that becomes the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning I made an errand run with my first stop being at Thieneman’s Garden Center to pick up some more flowers. Then I stopped at Feeder’s Supply to buy more cat food. My third stop was at Kroger’s to pick up some cleaning supplies. My fourth stop was at the Rainbow Blossom Health Food Store to purchase some B Vitamin Complex for myself. My last stop was at Walgreen’s to pick up some supplements and super glue.

This afternoon I transplanted a flat of 15 Calibrachoa on the right side of the sidewalk in the front yard. Then I transplanted two flats of Dianthus on the top of the Wuthering Heights Mound in the front yard. My last transplanting was a flat of Impatiens on the back side of the Wuthering Heights Mound. Then I watered them with fertilized water. My last job was to spray them all with deer repellent.

The Holy Vibration

I am the spirit of the full consciousness of love. I greet you in the name of Jesus the Christ.

For the spiritually oriented seeker, names are very important. For the breath that is the spirit of love molds itself into vibrations which have a profound effect upon the creature which, though physical, has resonances with the metaphysical self in its analog.

That is to say that the name of the Lord of your life has the vibration of strength for you. Thus the name of Jesus, though not the earthly name, Jehoshua, nevertheless bears the strongest vibratory significance to the instinctual, creaturely self which resonates with the analogous spiritual body which is the spiritual body incorruptible.

Know that the breath of the spirit is breathed into you as you think upon holy names and is breathed from you as you consciously vibrate words of love which are meaningful to those whom you wish to love and serve.

We leave you upon the holy vibration of peace, now and forever. Amen.

I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 102 quote comes from Chapter Five and the concept of artists and craft people:

Artists and Craftspeople

Marcy Pederson gave this working definition of artists and craftspeople:

“Craft is always exercised upon something and aims at transformation of this into that. The craftsman understands what he wants to make. The craftsman’s skill is his knowledge of the means that are used to transform something and this mastery of those means. A fabricator understand what machines and tools are needed to transform metal into a desired shape. A seamstress is a master of a sewing machine. We typically think of trades like blacksmith when we think of craftsman. They are defined by the means they use.

The artist uses technique and has a form of skill like the craftsman. Skill does not make an artist, but a technician. With skill a technician can become an artist. An artist can also have a specific end in mid. They are not creating for a single purpose. They don’t know what is going to happen until it happens.”

So, the major difference between an artist and a craftsman seems to be that the artist creates a unique work each time that they feel the inspiration to create. A craftsperson will more likely repeat a previous standardized creation when they feel the desire to practice their trade. Either the artist or the craftsperson can be totally service to others in their work as their positive intentions may shine through their creations, which may also be functional and/or beautiful. The artist and the craftsperson each fulfill needs of the public in general, and each can be highly polarized in service to others depending upon their own personal spiritual journeys and how they view the universe around them.

And now, from a purely spiritual point of view, Q’uo gave us more of an overview of what it means to engage in artistic productions:

We speak, as we believe you intended us to speak, strictly of those artists who must express that which is within them and who are irresistibly drawn to perform and to share their gifts. Whether or not such entities would think of offering their gifts in a spiritual sense, it is, indeed, a spiritual exercise by its very definition. For in order to make contact with the creative impulse, the entity must move into the open heart or green-ray chakra and thereby move upwards into the ray of communication, the blue ray, and the ray of faith, indigo ray, and thenceforth to move into the violet ray and the gateway to intelligent infinity.

An artist is moving his attention into a place where he is able to draw from beyond that gateway the inspiration and information needed in order to be able to express the visions that he has seen and the perceptions he has garnered in his own way. He is as the treasure hunter who finds treasure and then must share it. Q’uo, April 26, 2008.

In this quote Q’uo uses the term “creative impulse” that exists within all true artists. This creative impulse is accessed, according to Q’uo, not so much through a conscious desire or choice but through that which is “irresistible” within one who has the creative impulse. It may not be a totally consciously chosen process but one which engages the green-ray open heart, the blue ray of communication and inspiration, the indigo-ray of faith and then to the contact with intelligent infinity which is the Creator moving through the creative process to produce whatever kind of artistic endeavor is native to the artist.

In this kind of spiritual process the artist is actually making a conscious or subconscious contact the with Creator within and the produces the fruits of that contact in one form or another, depending upon the type of art being produced: sculpture, paintings, poetry, prose, dance, music, or any creative combination of such artistic endeavors.

In the following quote those of Q’uo share the type of inspiration that can guide any creative process:

The process of channeling, creatorship, authorship or composer-ship is that of the tempering fire of circumstance, the quality, purity, intensity, crystallization and balance of the desires of the deep heart for the truth of the self and the truth of one’s service, and the quality of what this instrument would call alertness or awakeness. These are the tools which open the channels of creativity. There is a balance between intuition and guidance and the more artisan-like craft of learning, discovery analysis and synthesis which must needs find an inner bridge in order that the heart and the mind work together as a portion of an extended spiritual family, shall we say. We are that portion of your guidance that we naturally occupy by virtue of the shared soul stream. However, as we have often mentioned, our guidance comes more in the form of a kind of carrier wave that deepens and intensifies or sharpens in delineation the details of the personality shell’s own processes of dreaming, envisioning and seeking. Q’uo, December 19, 2002.

So Q’uo suggests that in any creative process that we might engage in we are either consciously or subconsciously accessing guidance from inner sources or even entities such as those of Q’uo to inspire us to expand our own creative abilities. It would make sense that our desire to create something of beauty and inspiration, whether a song, a painting, the formation of a garden, a dance, a poem or any other inspiring sharing of our energy, would be like unto a calling to unseen entities to aid us in reflecting the Creator in our work for others.

This morning I went outside and transplanted impatiens to two locations on the other side of the Flower Fall Mound in the front yard and also transplanted some lollipop flowers between the Flower Fall and the sidewalk. I have never seen lollipop flowers before, but they come in small pots and have a great variety of colors in their blooms. We are having our public channeling meditation this afternoon, so I will probably post this Camelot Journal entry a little early today.

The Waterfall

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love divine.

There is a waterfall that streams from infinity, its sparkling rainbow cascades invisible to the eye but full of healing and health, nourishment and nutrition for the spirit.

This cascade flows wherever there is consciousness. And the love that surrounds you is there because you are loved. This day, allow the consciousness of that love to fill you, that all that you do, you may do for the love of Jesus Christ.

Have you the chores, the small tasks, the seemingly unimportant dusting and paperwork and foolishness of that sort? Do it for the love of Jesus the Christ. Do all for the love of the Creator. Then shall the waterfall of love be answered by your love.

Then shall the waterfall move into you and through you to bless the world anew. For only the created can express the uncreated light that is the waterfall of divine love. Feel it surround you. Express it within you. Allow it to flow through you. And do all that you do for the love of the Christ.

We leave you in the consciousness of its peace, now and always. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. The 102 quote today comes from Chapter Five and the concept of entrepreneurs:

Entrepreneurs

When we speak of an entrepreneur, we have a person who is attempting to be a player in the business world. The effort put forth by such a person is, in a sense, creative as they are bringing a new business into being with their talents, money, partners, and willingness to work and take a risk that the venture will succeed. It is truly a creative effort if there is not only a new business but perhaps an entirely new product that is the focus of the entrepreneur’s efforts. I have noticed many businesses these days that are also focused on being sensitive to the environment, people’s allergies, recycling containers, organically grown food and other innovative products and services as well. In such situations there is a significant risk that the effort will fail for one reason or another.

No matter what the product or the means of offering it for sale, the business world has always been looked upon as a rough and tumble situation where the practices utilized to succeed may often seem ruthless and uncaring in the treatment of employees, customers, competitors and in advertising. Oftentimes every corner is cut and every advantage is taken in order to succeed.

Entities operating within the business world can certainly be of service to others, depending upon their personal choices. I think that not only are more items for sale today more sensitive to the environment and people’s special needs, but there also seems to be more people in the entrepreneur roles that carry over this sensitivity to their employees as well as to their customers. But, in general, I think those who work within the business world are attempting to make a living by selling whatever their product or service might be. This is not necessarily a service-to-self action because their customers usually want to buy what they are selling, and it is totally the choice of the entrepreneur as to what their personal motivation for service to others or self is and how this choice is reflected in the way they treat customers and employees.

Back in the 1950’s there was a television show called “Get Smart”, starring Don Adams and Barbara Feldon as secret agents in a counterintelligence agency. It was a comedy and in one episode their mission was to infiltrate a large corporation to see if they could find out who was selling government secrets to foreign countries. Barbara Feldon’s character, who was simply called 99, asked Don Adam’s character, Maxwell Smart, if he thought that he could get a job with the large corporation and complete the mission. Max replied, “99, I have been trained as a government agent to be cold, cruel, and ruthless”, and then he added, “but not enough for business!”

Of course, one does not need to be “cold, cruel, and ruthless” to succeed in business! But the spiritual seeker will find many opportunities for positive choice in such an intensely competitive world. I believe that the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life will very likely desire to be of service to the customers that they interact with more than they will desire to make money from the interaction. They will very likely have a positive resonance with what Q’uo shares in this quote:

Those of you to whom these words express a recognizable duty and honor may know that whether you seem to be a businessman, a homemaker, a queen or a shepherd, there is that inner citadel, at the top of which is a watchtower, and the only lamp that is lit is the lamp lit by the deepest heart as it gazes in worship and adoration from light into light, knowing light, accepting light, blessing light and allowing the crystal of the heart of hearts to turn the self into the metaphysical lamp upon the hillside, the city upon the hill, not for the notice or understanding or thanks of mankind, but for the doing of it alone, for the keeping of the watch. In many cases this, the keeping of a faithful watch, is the primary mission or task set for the self before the incarnation. Latwii, October 4, 1987.

Irrespective of our position in life we have the opportunity to share unconditional love with everyone around us and imbue our relationships with the light of love which helps us to serve as a beacon for everyone that we meet. This would be most helpful in the business world where it is so easy to forget the reason that we all exist upon the earth to open our hearts in unconditional love to the degree that we are able to be graduated into the fourth density of love and understanding. Thus do we become the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning I went outside and pumped half the water out of the fish pond and then refilled it with fresh water. I also cleaned out the filters for the fountain as they have been getting a lot of the mossy substance in the water out of it and, therefore, needing to be cleaned. I also wanted to find the patch of a hole in the pond liner which is about a foot down on the other side of the pond so I can show it to the fellow who is scheduled to perform a spring cleaning on my pond the first week of May. While the water was being pumped out of the pond I used it to water the four gardens that surround the fish pond. While the water was refilling in the pond I came inside the house and vacuumed the first floor of the house.

This afternoon I had a zoom meeting with Austin and Joanna to talk about editing 102. It was a very productive session as they shared with me how the first three chapters of 102 will set the intentions of the rest of the book. Carla wrote the first chapter and it will remain as it is, but there will be some re-writing of Chapters Two and Three that will occur after I have finished Chapter Five.

Lovers Before The Holy Spirit

I am of the principle of the full consciousness of love and I greet you as the living Word of the most high.

Know ye that men and women alike are as lovers before the Holy Spirit, to be impregnated with the divine, that, within illusion, manifestation of the creative renewal of the infinite love of Jesus the Christ may take place.

Sexuality is seen only as its gross aspect by most who live the earthly life. Yet there is enormous polarity betwixt the pilgrim and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not nurturer alone but impregnator, that each pilgrim may be full of that which is born of the spirit and not of flesh.

Know that you may carry the living Word, the Christed consciousness that was and is and always shall be with and in Jesus the Christ. And embrace, as lovers, that life-giving love of the heavenly seeds within.

We leave you in the expectant peace of all who await the spirit of the living Christ, now and ever. Amen.

I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:
