Synchronicity

“You are doing what you came to do and if it changes tomorrow, you will still be doing what you came to do. Trust that the way your incarnation works is that you set your intention to serve and the more strongly that you are able to set that intention, the more help you will attract, the more synchronicities will confirm to you that you are on the right track, the more feedback you will get from the creation around you. Give yourself over to this interactive, unified process, and lay your weary burdens down in thanksgiving and joy, for you are serving and serving beautifully and with utter perfection, right now and always.” Q’uo, November 13, 2010

So many seekers of truth worry that they are not fulfilling their desires to be of service to others and feel like they have failed in some way to do what they have come into incarnation to do. I think that it is most important for all seekers of truth to know that the more that they exercise their desire to be of service to others, and the more faith that they have that they are doing their best to serve, the more the universe around them will provide synchronicities and coincidences that confirm their desire to serve is being accomplished well. I also believe that our guides and higher self are very significant portions of that creation that arrange certain synchronicities to inspire us on our pre-incarnatively and incarnatively chosen path of polarization. So, Players, one and all, let us move forward in our life patterns with the confidence and joy that will further propel us into a life of beauty and utter perfection as our service to others unfolds before us in an unending panorama of work in consciousness accomplished, service being given, and more sharing of love to come. In 8.1, Ra gave Don this basic message as Don was concerned that the information that we got from Ra would not reach many people:

Questioner: I have a question about what I call the advertising of the Confederation. It has to do with free will. There have been certain contacts allowed, as I understand, by the Council, but this is limited because of free will of those who are not oriented in such a way that they could maybe want contact. This material that we are doing now will be disseminated. Dissemination of this material will be dependent upon the wants of a relatively small number of people on the planet. Many people on the planet now want this material, but even though we disseminate it, they will not be aware it is available. Is there any possibility of creating some effect which I would call advertising, or is this against the principle of free will?

Ra: I am Ra. Consider, if you will, the path your life-experience complex has taken. Consider the coincidences and odd circumstances by which one thing flowed to the next. Consider this well. Each entity will receive the opportunity that each needs.

When Don was 17 years old he decided to take flying lessons from Captain Tom Mantell of the Kentucky Air National Guard. They became good friends during this time, and when Captain Mantell was killed while flying a P-51 Mustang and chasing a UFO on January 7, 1948, Don’s spiritual journey was begun. He questioned whether UFOs proved that we were not alone in the universe, and he wondered just how the universe functioned. So he studied the sciences and became a physics professor as an attempt to answer his questions. But science did not provide him the answers he sought, so he began to hypnotically regress dozens of people, and he received confirmation that reincarnation was a reality. The next synchronicity was that he came into possession of channeled information that focused on the philosophy of the nature of the universe and how we all fit into its functioning. This led him to begin his first channeling group, and he met Carla as part of this process.

He and Carla eventually got together and continued the channeling of Confederation philosophy that began to answer his basic questions about the workings of the Universe, the one Creator, and how we grow spiritually. By a chance coincidence I was listening to them being interviewed concerning these topics on my battery-powered radio when I was living in the woods of central Kentucky. I eventually met them and joined their work. Three weeks later the Ra contact began.

My own life path had similar synchronistic twists and turns that brought me to Don and Carla. When I entered college at the age of 18, I was blindly following the expectations of my mom and dad that I would major in Business Administration and join the grocery chain that they both worked for. But in my senior year I joined the hippie revolution and decided that I didn’t want to pursue business and just making money for the rest of my life. That path seemed so boring and fruitless. I felt there had to be more to life than that.

So I did not use my Business Degree. Instead, I went back to college for to take a solid year of Sociology as a second major and eventually refined my desire to be more humanitarian and service-oriented. I joined The National Teacher Corps and worked to improve the educational opportunities of kids in the inner city of Jacksonville, Florida. However, after that two-year program was over I felt another change coming and read a book that was a resource that we used in Teacher Corps which was entitled: Raspberry Exercises: How to Start a School and Make a Book. The synchronicity was in the Bibliography of this book. I came across a listing for the Adventure Trails Survival School that was located in the Rocky Mountains forty miles west of Denver, Colorado. The purpose of the school was listed as releasing the dormant power of your brain in the primal nature environment. I took the course and experienced the opening of my indigo-ray chakra and began to experience orgasms in my brain.

This was such a life-changing experience that I decided to start my own school to teach this technique of brain self-control. After looking through a couple of real estate catalogues that had listings of remote properties in Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, and Kentucky I chose four possibilities that sounded like what I was looking for. However, after checking them all out and finding no satisfaction, I made a decision. At this point I was in central Kentucky, and I decided to stop in unannounced at each real estate agency that I came across as I headed back towards my home in Nebraska. The first agency I stopped at in Lebanon, Kentucky had exactly what I was looking for: 132 acres of wooded wilderness for sale for $6,000. That turned out to be precisely the amount of money I had to spend at the time.

Within a year of buying the land I had built my first log cabin, and in May of 1974, I moved to this land where I lived off the grid, started a garden, an orchard, and arranged to hold my first Brain In Nature Course in 1976 under the name of the Rock Creek Research and Development Labs. Inc. I held another course in 1977 to teach what I had learned at the Adventure Trails Survival School in Colorado. Then that fateful evening in May of 1979 came around when I happened to be tuned into WKQQ radio station in Lexington, Kentucky and heard Don and Carla being interviewed on the topic of UFOs and the extraterrestrial philosophy of the nature of the universe. They said their source, a planetary mind named Hatonn, described our universe as a great and unified thought of Love, and that each of us was a portion of that Love, or the one Creator, and our spiritual journeys were a processing of coming into unity with this Creator. As a result of hearing this interview, I really wanted to meet Don and Carla but had no idea how to go about it.

The last synchronicity in this series occurred when I joined a food-buying co-op where other former hippies, who were part of the back-to-the land movement of the ‘70s, ordered food that they couldn’t grow themselves. It was at one of these food co-op meetings I met a couple who knew Don and Carla, and they took me to Louisville to meet them so I could join their channeling meditation group. After driving to Louisville every Sunday night for the next year, Don and Carla invited me to join them, and the rest is, as they say, history. And Synchronicities aplenty!

This morning I had brunch at First Watch again and on the way home I stopped in at Walgreen’s Drug Store and bought some gallon sized zip lock storage bags and some ice cream. This afternoon I vacuumed the first floor of the house and did the laundry.

Echoes Of Love

I am of the spirit of Jesus Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of that love for which the remainder of the creation is but a synonym.

We gaze upon the palsied, frail, wandering thoughts of humankind with cheerfulness and love, not with sadness and despair as do you who gaze upon your own thoughts with disappointment. For we know that your thoughts may wander in arid regions. Yet the more unprofitable you find your thinking becoming, the more rich becomes the potential for your turning from the unformed to the formed, from the uncreated to that which is full of grace and purpose.

Your infinite and loving heart is not a machine, that you may produce an output according to your quota. But, rather, it is a sounding board by means of which the spirit of love may echo to the infinite reaches of the created universe.

Turn, therefore, from despair and free the echo chamber of your heart from all tense worries that, surprised by inspiration, it may reverberate in love and peace.

Networking

“In networking, we are assuming that these other people are not only universes in their own right, but also messengers who have information for us. That is, they are in a spiritual sense the inadvertent wing-footed Mercuries of things we need to hear, connections we need to make. In getting to know and being authentically interested in developing a sound and lasting relationship with them, we are also learning about and supporting ourselves. Such connections increasingly bless all within them. And as we do that, we are working towards the global balancing and evolution of the planet itself.” Carla L. Rueckert, from A Wanderers’ Handbook, pg. 424

As spiritual seekers of truth we naturally have a strong desire to be part of a network of other seekers so that we all may share the discoveries of this journey of a lifetime with. Whether our own journey started by reading a certain inspiring book, or talking with a friend who was on her own journey, or listening to a lecture devoted to the seeking process it is immediately obvious that we would like to get more information to speed our journeys along and help others do the same. It is the old saying of “Two heads are better than one. “multiplied many times over. Ra probably said it the best when they said, “Those of like mind which together seek shall far more surely find.”

So, once we begin this journey of seeking and have made connections with other seekers, it is likely that we will be part of a larger group or network of spiritually-oriented people who have information that we all need to hear and think about. Within any network there will people who have much to share with us, and, hopefully, we will also be able to share with them. Together we are seeking ways of thinking and being that enhance everyone’s comprehension of who we are. In essence, we hope to discover how this third-density illusion is constructed to give us fuel for our spiritual growth.

Carla finished her quote by saying that this whole process of exchanging information and inspiration to enhance our spiritual journeys is part of a larger “global balancing and evolution of the planet itself.” Another way that this interaction of entities within a network of seekers could be described is the first steps towards creating a social memory complex that would be working towards, not only aiding each other in our seeking of truth, but in aiding our Mother Earth in her evolution into the fourth density of love and understanding. Eventually it becomes apparent to each of us that we are seeking the one Creator that lives within us and within our Mother Earth and within all of the unified creation.

“The service which entities provide who do actively use the resources at hand to make connections shall be those which help this planet in its birthing process. We simply caution each that in making these connections no outcome be held in thought, no limitation placed upon the possibilities of any connection. Those who wish the most to aid a culture or society or world are drawn by their concern into rigid conceptual structures concerning ways and means of arriving at the goal desired. We would encourage each who wishes to press forward along this path of making connections to continue seeking that intuition and sense of the heart rather than making great plans and carrying out this or that campaign conceived irrespective of connections made spontaneously. For the social memory complex shall be builded one relationship at a time, just as when entities seek peace as a nation they must first seek peace within the self. Q’uo, February 26, 1995.

In this quote Q’uo took a complementary approach as to how we might go about forming networks through which we can not only aid each other in our spiritual growth, but aid the planet itself in a unified movement into the fourth density of love and understanding. Rather than using only the intellect to construct a certain way of relating to others in aiding planetary evolution, Q’uo recommended that we use our intuition to move more into our hearts and consult that infinite love of the one Creator that resides within the inner sanctum of every person’s heart. If we can make a connection with this all-knowing love that binds all of the creation together, we are more likely to be able to blend our minds, bodies, and spirits with all other minds, bodies, and spirits who also have a desire to serve others and our Mother Earth. This blending of the energies of open hearts is much like the preliminary accessing of Gaia’s social memory complex. When we are working together it is more likely that we can find a path of service to others and evolution into unity with the one Creator that is within each entity and available for pointing the most loving way forward for all concerned.

“Much is ahead, my children. There is truly nothing that is not one with you, and there is no consciousness that you do not share. Yet each within a family is unique and each within the family of your sphere is unique. Many are aware now that it is time to feel the family working more closely together, and you have called this networking. Think of it as reunion as well as work, for in the instinct to network, you may see the instinct that calls all to the family reunion. Q’uo, March 15, 1987.

And as the ultimate overview of how networking can be comprehended, in this quote Q’uo described our efforts at networking to enhance our spiritual journeys and the evolution of Mother Earth as a kind of reunion. In fact, Q’uo suggested that right now, before any such effort is made within the third-density illusion, we are already one with each other in the consciousness of that love that is within each person and each moment. Of course, there is still a good deal of work to be done within our third-density illusion in order to help this shared reunion manifest in space/time, but it certainly does help to know that the groundwork for this networking and reunion has already been laid within time/space, and we all have the potential move forward together as Players in the Game of Life.

This afternoon I ran a few errands with my first stop Speedway to get gas for the car. My next stop was a Paul’s Fruit Market to get some food for myself. My last stop was at Hometown Pizza to pick up a pizza for dinner tonight.

Every Flower Rejoices

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

Be it known to you that every flower that nods in the sunlight rejoices in love; that every green leaf that shakes upon the bough lifts its voice in songs of praise to love.

Know, too, that every cell of your body and every cell of your mind is full of the love of the Father, full of the Christ, full of rejoicing.

It may seem to you that portions of your body or your mind have been cut off from the love of God in Jesus Christ. Believe and know that this is in no case the final truth and press on in faith, holding the vision of love in every cell, of rejoicing in every iota of the body and the mind. By this may the power of the spirit of love be called to you, be drawn upon you, and begin to heal you.

Being truly ourselves with others

As conscious seekers of truth most of us have spent our lifetimes attempting to truly be ourselves with everyone that we have any kind of a meaningful relationship with. Even with the best of intentions, however, often we find ourselves involved in misunderstandings of one kind or another, perhaps due to careless comments or to a lack of knowledge about how we really feel about one topic or another that has come up in our interactions with others. I believe that at the heart of most of our misunderstandings, it is a lack of knowledge about who we are and what we believe that occasionally confuses our conversations and our relationships.

So how can we truly know ourselves? In the quote below Hatonn suggested that we can use meditation to find out more of who we truly are. A regular practice of meditation often results in getting closer to the true nature of our being and letting the illusory portions of ourselves that don’t have a sympathetic resonance with our hearts fall away from us. I would liken this effect to removing the static from the old time radios where you had to place the dial exactly on the station in order to be able to get clear reception.

Hatonn likened this clear reception to finding a “Kingdom” within us that reflected the true nature of the reality of creation and the purpose of our lives within this true reality.

“How we would like for you to be able to allow all those things which are illusory to fall away just now in this moment as we speak so that you may feel the heartbeat of the Kingdom within you. Why else, my friends, would you meditate except to find your true self? Why would you ever stop talking and studying and listening and looking and learning? Why would you seek silence that the world does not give unless you suspected that there was a Kingdom within and that Kingdom within dwelt more in that which was real than all of your experiences in manifestation upon the outer exoteric planes of human existence? What is this Kingdom like? There are many hints, many clues, many messengers that come and offer to you the great abundance of joy, of peace, of wholeness.” Hatonn, March 2, 1986

If we look to Ra for some clues as to the nature of this inner Kingdom one of the most powerful of messages that Ra imparted was that there is love in every moment. In 10.14, Ra elaborated in great detail about what the true nature of this inner Kingdom was and how we are all intimately connected to it:

Questioner: For general development of the reader of this book, could you state some of the practices or exercises to perform to produce an acceleration toward the Law of One?

Ra: I am Ra.

Exercise One. This is the most nearly centered and usable within your illusion complex. The moment contains love. That is the lesson/goal of this illusion or density. The exercise is to consciously seek that love in awareness and understanding-distortions. The first attempt is the cornerstone. Upon this choosing rests the remainder of the life-experience of an entity. The second seeking of love within the moment begins the addition. The third seeking powers the second, the fourth powering or doubling the third. As with the previous type of empowerment, there will be some loss of power due to flaws within the seeking in the distortion of insincerity. However, the conscious statement of self to self of the desire to seek love is so central an act of will that, as before, the loss of power due to this friction is inconsequential.

Exercise Two. The universe is one being. When a mind/body/spirit complex views another mind/body/spirit complex, see the Creator. This is an helpful exercise.

Exercise Three. Gaze within a mirror. See the Creator.

Exercise Four. Gaze at the creation which lies about the mind/body/spirit complex of each entity. See the Creator.

The foundation or prerequisite of these exercises is a predilection towards what may be called meditation, contemplation, or prayer. With this attitude, these exercises can be processed. Without it, the data will not sink down into the roots of the tree of mind, thus enabling and ennobling the body and touching the spirit.

Not only does the moment contain love, but this is the goal of the third-density illusion: to find that love. We are all here to open our hearts in unconditional love in at least 51% of our interactions with others. That requires that we keep looking for that love in every experience that we have. We always need to be conscious that this is our goal. We need to make this choice again and again and so empower our seeking that it becomes the primary force in our lives. Q’uo expanded upon the technique of opening our hearts in unconditional love:

The reason that we so strenuously encourage this work is that where you want to go in the next chakra requires that these three chakras, the basic chakras, be in sufficient balance that the infinite supply of unconditional love and energy for life coming into your energy system from the root chakra or red-ray chakra can move upwards without significant blockage. We do not say without distortion but without significant blockage into the heart. If you cannot clear the lower chakras enough that you are getting a good supply of the infinite love and light of the one Creator into the heart chakra, then this is where you need to stop for the moment. It is important for you to be able to rest in the sacred space of your own open heart and to know yourself there before you can really do work in consciousness with any confidence that you will not harm yourself or confuse yourself more than you clarify things for yourself. As we have said many times through this instrument, there are what this instrument calls “lions at the gate” guarding your entry into your own heart. Listen to those lions and find the patience with yourself to do the work that it takes to make entry into your heart in such a way that the lions not only allow you to pass, but give you the feeling that they are now guarding your back.

Then take a few moments to rest in first the consciousness of yourself in its larger sense. For you have, when you pass the three chakras and move into the heart, moved from the outer personality into the inner truth, from space/time into time/space and from judgment into redemption or forgiveness. For you have become a larger you. The “I” that is the first person singular of you is significantly changed in the atmosphere and the sanctity of the open heart. When you feel that you are beginning to vibrate with unconditional love, you have then achieved that expanded awareness of the truth of who you are. Resting, then, in this truth, it is now safe for you to do your work in consciousness.

Your first work in consciousness is to come into open communication with yourself. You have put judgment away. That is not part of your personality any more. You have put doubt away. You are dwelling as a citizen of eternity. Your possibilities have become infinite. The world has dropped away in terms of consensus reality and you are living at this moment, doing this work in time/space and in the company of all who have gone before you, living a life in faith, dwelling in the sacred temple of the open heart. Here you are never alone. The Creator Itself holds you in an embrace that is nearer to you than your breathing, closer to you than your body. Q’uo, March 4, 2005.

Meditation is certainly one way to find this inner Kingdom of all-abiding love of the one Creator. Every time we meditate we are tabernacling in some degree, consciously or subconsciously, with the one Creator. That brings us to the second exercise that Ra suggested where we consciously see the Creator in every other person that we meet in our daily round of activities. And we certainly don’t stop there. Every time we look into the mirror we can also see the same Creator because as Ra said, “The universe is one being, the Creator.” And, just for good measure, Ra suggested that as we look at the world in which we live we will also see the same Creator. There is nothing but the Creator. This is truly who we are, so when we relate to others we should always be aware consciously and subconsciously that we are all the Creator. We are the Creator seeking to know Itself, and the more we can reflect this divine Kingdom within and without ourselves the more our hearts will be open in unconditional love for all things and everyone around us at all times and we will be functioning as Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning I changed out the sheets on my bed and then put the old sheets through the laundry along with some of my clothes. After that I ran errands with my first stop being at First Watch where I had blueberry pancakes and reconnected with a few of the servers there who have become friends and wanted to know why I was wearing my boot. My next stop was at Kroger’s where I bought some kitty litter, Kleenexes, and paper towers. My last stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market where I bought some food for myself.

Open Your Hearts To Love

I am the spirit of Jesus the Christ left to the world upon this Master’s removal from it. I greet you in the comfortable Word of divine love.

We proclaimed ourselves to this instrument this morning as the spirit of the one infinite Creator. And so we were challenged again in the name of Jesus the Christ, for the instrument felt we were too close in feeling to other material this instrument has received which seems not to be of Jesus the Christ.

Yet we must remind the instrument that all those of the world of spirit move from the one Creator and as this instrument challenges in the name of Jesus the Christ, so all who come to this instrument are linked in unity of consciousness.

To some we are angels; to others, alien beings. Yet in our essence is our function; in our love and its communication, our hope of service. You, who seek to serve Jesus the Christ, open your hearts to the perfect love of yourself, for you were created by love. You are love. The rest is surface behavior and confusion.

May you sink into the comfort of your true nature. May you seek the comfort of the spirit of Christ. And may you manifest the love which flows through you to all whom you meet this day.

Carla’s goals for this chapter: This Chapter focuses on extroverted ways to work with consciousness in order to tune it for spiritual work. I look at how the interactions with others take us from left brain to right brain and thinking with the intellect to thinking with the heart.

Chapter Four: Blueprints and Projects for Working with Others

The Inner Work of the Open Heart

At some point in our third-density incarnations our green-ray energy center becomes activated, we discover our spiritual path, and we become conscious seekers of truth. As we continue on this path of working within the heart chakra we express more all-compassionate love which demands no return. After we are in our heart chakra it is likely that the rest of our incarnation will be spent in the higher energy centers attempting activation and balancing of the blue ray of freely given communication, of the indigo-ray of freely shared intelligent energy, and then, hopefully, using this intelligent energy to penetrate the violet-ray of intelligent infinity and experience the sacred nature of our lives and the creation around us. However, before we discuss all of these more advanced potentials of our evolutionary process, let’s move back in time to discover the roots of humanity’s progress in this third-density illusion.

At the beginning of creation our Logos of the Milky Way Galaxy decided to use the ape body as the form for our third-density bodies. Like most animals, the ape was able to use a kind of intuition and telepathy to communicate with its own kind. It was a very strong animal and could defend its group from any outside attacks or threats of such. It had the opposable thumb which allowed it to use tools, and it also had the tendency to enter into a mated relationship that lasted for its entire life. This tendency was carried over into the third-density only as a bias so that the free will of each human being would be able to choose whatever kind of relationship that it desired.

As this ape body was prepared for use within the third density, the Logos changed the ape body in ways that would allow the third-density human beings that were to inhabit this body to interact with each other in ways that would promote their intellectual and spiritual growth. Ra said that it took about 1,350 years for these changes to be made:

“there was loss of the body hair, as you call it; the clothing of the body to protect it; the changing of the structure of the neck, jaw, and forehead in order to allow the easier vocalization; and the larger cranial development characteristic of third-density needs.” (19.19)

When Don asked Ra why our Logos had chosen the ape form to invest for third-density activation, Ra gave their opinion as to the reasons in 90.12:

We are not entirely sure why our Logos and several neighboring Logoi of approximately the same space/time of flowering chose the bipedal, erect form of the second-density apes to invest. It has been our supposition—which we share with you as long as you are aware that this is mere opinion—that our Logos was interested in, shall we say, further intensifying the veiling process by offering to the third-density form the near complete probability for the development of speech taking complete precedence over concept communication or telepathy.

We also have the supposition that the so-called opposable thumb was looked upon as an excellent means of intensifying the veiling process so that, rather than rediscovering the powers of the mind, the third-density entity would, by the form of its physical manifestation, be drawn to the making, holding, and using of physical tools.

Since our Milky Way Galaxy is so far out from the center of the universe where there was no veil to begin with, our Logos apparently decided that it would be helpful for the evolution through the third density if this veiling process could be intensified. One of the ways of doing this was to reduce the chances of using the normal second-density means of communication by means of telepathy and make it more likely that speech would become the primary means of communication. The opposable thumb was seen as a primary means by which the powers of the mind would be minimized as the hand could now be focused on: “the making, holding, and using of physical tools.” Exactly how this process would inhibit telepathic communication is up for conjecture, but it is possible that this ability for manual dexterity would be so time and energy consuming that the generalities of telepathic communication of concepts would not be able to function in such specific activities.

I am guessing that this would enhance the polarization process because speech would not have the accuracy of telepathy where entire concepts can be transmitted at once. Using speech would be more specific with having to choose words to describe one’s thoughts and feelings, and different people would have better or lesser skills at communicating clearly what they were thinking. So misunderstandings would become more likely and would require additional effort to get to one’s heart to resolve such disharmonies. As Ra said in 54.7, “Were there no potentials for misunderstanding and, therefore, understanding, there would be no experience.” And if there were no experience, then our desire and ability to find our way to our open hearts would not be possible. Without experience it would be far less likely that humanity would have the opportunity for polarizing in service-to-others. So this is where the third-density experience had its beginning as we self-consciously interact with other selves for the purpose of eventually opening our hearts in unconditional love to make yet another graduation, but this one would be into the fourth density of love and understanding. In this quote Q’uo gives an outline of how the heart may be opened in the third density:

The work of opening the heart is the work of letting go, of surrendering, of realizing the true importance of the details of any blockage, that is to say, of realizing that what is important about a situation which has caused a blockage is the forgiveness and the healing which may now be evoked by the learned skill of paying attention and respect to the incarnational experience that is going on.

When one first attempts to open the heart one may feel that it is impossible to forgive the self enough times to keep that heart open. That is not the heart speaking, that is still the mind. And the mind complex suffers from the either/or of your illusion. There is no “either/or” in an open heart. The open heart is “an/and,” unity. To the open heart all things deserve compassion, all things deserve food, physical and spiritual, all things deserve love. And to refrain from opening the heart to the self is not something that occurs to the heart’s wisdom. However it may seem to make no sense, it is important to realize that the way of the open heart may begin in clearing the way to the open heart, but it ends in accepting that the open heart is all-compassionate, all-loving, all-giving. There are no second thoughts to an open heart. There are no true thoughts in the open heart, but only the endless and impersonal compassion, but one who stands not on sense, not on things known, but on the thin and unpredictable air of the abyss of the unknown.

As we said, most among your people attempt to preserve a balance in that abyss of the unknown, in an attempt to think their way through this blockage. This is slow work but it is a perfectly good path. The way of the open heart is simply a shortcut, a more direct route to the ability to do work in consciousness.

How is the heart kept open in such a way that the experience of the open heart will be the steady state? We would, in looking at this aspect of this question, remind each again that the offering of praise to the Creator, and the offering of thanksgiving for blessings received, constitute a continual touching into divinity, a constant song heard by all that there is. The steady state of open heart is a state in which each flower, each blade of grass, each thing that is beautiful that is seen says to you, not only, “This is pretty, this is lovely, this is beautiful,” but also “I praise the Creator for this beauty.” It is a way of claiming that mystery which is the Creator, a way of relating to the Creator which is unseen, invisible, unheard, unknown, for we are aware that the Creator is not obvious to all, nor is His will seen to be very beneficent in many cases. Yet, if there is the faith to continue to praise the Creator and to bless the Creator when your experience blesses you, the relationship with that which is holy becomes more and more real by habit and replication of sincere praise and thanksgiving. Today I spent my first day in my new boot to help the healing of the stress fracture in my left foot. Most of my activities were answering emails, meditating, exchanging a variety of texts with a new friend, and using a bag of frozen vegetables on my left foot as recommended by my foot doctor. Actually, the boot feels very comfortable, and I am fortunate that the stress fracture doesn’t hurt.

The Arid Seedcases Of Words

I greet you in the consciousness of the love of Jesus Christ.

I am the spirit of that love among the nations of the world, the force which carries the single concept of love in the clumsy containers of words to all who may have ears to hear.

Yet how can words wake up to the aliveness of the spirit, which cannot be contained within the arid seedcases of words? It is a great temptation to speak only in poetry, only in stories, to attempt to evoke feelings beyond words, emotion beyond concept.

For though we offer knowledge, it is not knowledge of words but knowledge of faith. For the full consciousness of love evokes an assurance and a delight. If you feel not these things, ask again for the spirit’s comfort, that you may know the love of Jesus Christ and reflect it in your life; that you, too, may carry in awkward seedcases the living and fructifying love of Christ to all who have ears to hear.

Hearing the non-local environment more carefully

“This information is a natural progression of inspection of the kinetic shape of your environment. You may understand each color, or ray, as being, as we had said, a very specific and accurate apportion of intelligent energy’s representation of intelligent infinity, each ray having been previously inspected in other regards.

This information may be of aid here. We speak now nonspecifically to increase the depth of your conceptualization of the nature of what is. The universe in which you live is recapitulation, in each part, of intelligent infinity. Thus you will see the same patterns repeated in physical and metaphysical areas; the rays or apportions of light being, as you surmise, those areas of what you may call the physical illusion which rotate, vibrate, or are of a nature that may be, shall we say, counted, or categorized, in rotation manner in space/time as described by the one known as Dewey; some substances having various of the rays in a physical manifestation visible to the eye, this being apparent in the nature of your crystallized minerals which you count as precious, the ruby being red and so forth.” Ra. 28.2

I believe that the non-local environment may be understood to be the realm of the metaphysical which Ra is describing in this quote and is the octave of densities which is “intelligent energy’s representation of intelligent infinity”. Intelligent infinity would be represented by the undistorted white light of the one infinite Creator, and intelligent energy’s representation of this white light would be the spectrum of colors that create this octave of densities that we travel back into unity with the one Creator.

Ra said that each density of light vibrates or rotates in a way in which we can categorize or describe so that we would discover that each ascending density it more densely filled with light. When Don spoke about the photon at each level of the octave of densities he would describe its differences according to both the rate of vibration and the different angles of vibration of the photon. As you move higher in the densities both the rate of vibration and the different angles of rotation of the photons would increase. We see reflections of these levels of light in our third-density experience in certain of our “crystallized minerals” such as the ruby being red and the emerald being green.

As for our ability to hear this non-local environment of our third-density illusion, I believe that hearing might be translated to feeling the qualities of the inner planes, or metaphysical realms, of Earth as being of a higher vibration than we can perceive in physical world. However, I would not be surprised if there was a discernable vibration associated with each level of the inner planes that could be heard with the ear. In 17.37, Ra spoke of entities of higher vibrations within the inner planes:

Questioner: Well, who inhabit the astral, and who inhabit the devachanic planes?

Ra: I am Ra. Entities inhabit the various planes due to their vibrational nature. The astral plane varies from thought-forms in the lower extremities to enlightened beings who become dedicated to teach/learning in the higher astral planes.

In the devachanic planes, as you call them, are those whose vibrations are even more close to the primal distortions of love/light.

Beyond these planes there are others.

However, in most cases the hearing of our non-local environment would be via the intuition, feelings, and extra sensory perceptions, and Q’uo gave more information about the inner planes in this quote:

You and all of those things in your world are energy fields and you have energies and certain vibrations we call those vibrations that belong to the third octave of existence. There are also other octaves of existence within your octave of existence. There are seven levels, and some of these levels are not visible, just as one channel would not be visible to another. The skill and art of penetrating into the inner planes is a hidden art. It is hidden for a reason. Each of you is here to learn the lessons of love and as you penetrate into the inner planes, the lessons of love become very obvious and thus your existence here becomes quite changed.

Thus, except for those occasional virtuosos, shall we say, who penetrate into the inner planes without conscious effort, for the most part they are closed to people upon your plane of existence. The method for achieving entrance into higher or, shall we say, denser, more light, more beautiful realms of existence is a mixture of certain disciplines of the person’s visualization, applied study, meditation and a constant will to know the truth in order to serve others. If you have this desire you will find people who will help you in your search. For us to give you this information is not necessary for the instrument has within her library volumes which deal with this subject which are available for you to read. Q’uo, December 16, 1979.

This morning I ran some errands, and the first stop was at the Rainbow Blossom Health Food Store to pick up some probiotics to help balance the bacteria in my stomach since I am taking an antibiotic to help with the inflammation of a nerve in my left foot. Then I stopped in at The First Watch for a brunch of a blue berry pancake. My next stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market to buy some food, and my last stop was at the bank to pick up some cash to give to a friend for his upcoming birthday.

This afternoon I went to my foot and ankle doctor to have him take a look at what I thought was an inflamed nerve. His X-rays showed that it was actually a stress fracture of the bone going into the fourth toe on my left foot. He said that stress fractures don’t show up on X-rays until three or four days after they occur, so the X-rays I had at the Baptist Immediate Care Center were taken the day after the stress fracture occurred and were interpreted as an inflamed nerve. So I will need to wear a big old boot for the next six to eight weeks. No dancing or speed walking!

The Presence Of Heaven

I am of the principle manifest in the love of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

Where is the keeper of the keys to your idea of heaven? Indeed, what is your idea of heaven? Within the infinity behind the closed eyes, consider this: how far lies heaven or how near? What holy ground is nearest to your own situation?

The spirit of love is that which is the essence of heaven and that heaven is available within each spirit that abides in faith.

Pause within this moment to feel the great galaxies of inner space that lie within the silence behind closed eyes. Sense the divinity of this space. Sense that floor of heaven out of which each entity and all of its experiences grow.

Yes, my friend, your roots are in heaven. That is your native land and you carry it with you, within yourself. It is not to be put off so that you may suffer now. Allow your suffering to lift long enough to sense the blessed presence of love within. This presence is that which you call heaven, whatever its manifestation.

Do not submit to misery when there is, to the faithful seeker, the certainty of heaven. Allow the heaven within to speak to the misery within. Allow the eyes of that consciousness to find for you the peace within suffering, the options not noticed before that may alleviate this suffering and above all the greater point of view which glories in the challenges of lessons learned and heaven recognized within.

“In meditation allow the silence to do its work. But in contemplation simply allow the self to move into those states of emotion that arise in this pattern. Feel that state. Allow association to move your feelings and see if there is a constellation of events or memories that seem to trigger this same type of emotional response. In this way you are working on your consciousness without departing from the situation at hand, for there is a self that is beneath all of these experiences that come within the incarnation. As one goes through the illusion day by day one can more and more find composure where formerly there was conflict simply because the attitude of faith has begun to take root and the need is not felt so quickly to move into patterns that take one away [from] faith and into the doubtful waters of opinions and words and points of view.” Q’uo, March 23, 1997

Both meditation and contemplation are used in silence, but whereas meditation lets thoughts naturally drop away in order to bask in the silence of communion with the Creator, contemplation remembers personal events that have been troubling in some degree in order to resolve them through self-examination. In this technique the Player will allow any associations that might be related to such events to come into the inner view in order to explore the nature of their functioning that has resulted in any kind of disharmony, fear, or doubt. In this process we are relying on our memories and our emotions to help us rectify any inner turmoil.

Q’uo spoke of a “self that is beneath all of these experiences that come within the incarnation”, and I believe that this self is what some would call the witness. This witness portion of our deeper self is very spiritually oriented and provides us with the faith that we can find resolutions to disharmony and a clear path of action through any doubts that may have arisen in our life experience. I think that part of the effectiveness of contemplation is that it allows our conscious mind to make a connection with some portion of our subconscious mind through the activation of our intuition. Then we may be able to mine the resources of our subconscious mind for answers to our questions that may come from our guides, our higher self, or that part of our subconscious mind that might be called the witness which is a portion of ourselves and much more as Q’uo described here:

We say to you that in actuality all that you have experienced as rock, as tree, as human, as what you call angel, as sun, as Creator, all of these things are the witness that flings the hand to beckon the stars. All that moves, moves and has being in an instant and within this instant the millions and millions of years of a whole creation beginning, continuing, and ending has taken place. You now experience the instant before the Creator coalesces once again. Time is an illusion, space is an illusion. The witness knows at some level the depth of this illusion, and through all change it keeps its feet steadily upon the desert floor. There is that within you which has such power that you could not image or believe this selfhood to be yours.

You ask how to meet change? We say to you the second thing that is you do not have to meet change. You have only to remember who you are. You are the witness; pay attention. Remember the desert floor and the out-flung hand, remember the stars spinning into your consciousness and meet change with love, for you have nothing to fear. You commanded this change. Today in our healing circle we talked about the areas within our own being that we felt might be in need of healing, and we set our intentions to find that healing by asking what is the damage playing out in my life by this area needing healing? The we asked what is the strongest emotion that I feel right now? That was followed by the question of who is involved in this area of myself that needs healing? The final question was when was the first time I felt this emotion? Then we invited our higher selves to join us as well as our guides and the other people involved in the area needing healing. Eventually, we were able to forgive everyone involved, thank them for their service to us and send them on their way with love. It was a very inspiring experience and was done in the meditative state with inspiring music playing lowly in the background.

The Winter Of Your Soul

I am the spirit of God in Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

How easy it is in the winter time to abandon the natural world as a source of inspiration, understanding and joy. For your feet touch not the holy ground but, rather, the manmade floors of inner rooms. Your faces feel not the keen sting of cold winds except as you hurry from enclosure to enclosure. And you can hear not, through the thick windows that guard your heat, the many sounds of living creatures rejoicing in their lives.

So it is in the winter time that man does not emulate the tree which puts its roots down into the cold and frozen ground, trusting in the deeper waters of food, nourishment and nurture. For it does not seem that the Creator could possibly intend this season to be blessed.

Yet you, yourselves, are like a tree, and we urge you this day to plant your winter feet upon the frozen ground, trusting as you do so that the living energy of holy ground may, through contact, become yours, that you may have the sense of the dark and secret roots of winter trees gathering, in quietness, all those nutrients in preparation for the time when the soil shall be soft and the wind and sun gentle.

In winter you are a winter flower. Do not cut yourself off from the creation but rejoice with all that you are in the blessedness and sanctity of every portion of your environment, for you shall find strength from the knowledge that you cannot walk except in goodness and light.

May you have faith in the winter of your soul that all is well, that roots are moving down, collecting nourishment and preparing in timeless, steady fashion for the blooming of joy and beauty that shall come through you in the next springtime of your life cycle.

Prayer

Like meditation and contemplation, prayer is a very effective way for us to deepen our awareness in order to do work in consciousness. I feel that the most important ingredient in our prayers is our intention for the prayer and our will to be part of the answer to our prayers. I would also recommend that when we pray for others we ask that the highest and best be done for them according to the will of the Creator because this is not the density of understanding. Some people may feel that they know what another person who is in some kind of distress needs, so they ask God, or the Creator, to provide the specific outcome that would provide immediate relief for that distress. However, I don’t believe that any of us is wise enough to know what would fulfill the pre-incarnative choices of anyone else or ourselves for that matter. Beautiful lessons of healing, love, and enlightenment often are produced by going through the most traumatic of experiences as Ra said in 34.14:

It is to be noted that among your entities a large percentage of all progression has as catalyst, trauma.

 In this quote Q’uo gives some general principles of how and why we might pray:

Everyone’s Creator is different. Everyone’s mode and method of prayer and hope and desire is different, often radically different, yet each path is utterly appropriate for the person to whom it is natural and the part that is appropriate to an entity must needs be respected by that entity with an authority that is above all teaching, all outer authority and all discrimination that is not one’s own, for the truth that is yours is not heard, but heard and recognized, somehow remembered. If it is not recognized, if it remains in the head and does not move to the heart with a feeling of recovered memory, it is not your truth, and no matter who says it to you, it is to be laid aside gently and with respect, but with a firmness that allows no stumbling block to enter your path.

So when we say to you that questions about relationships are actually questions about how to seek and to pray, we offer this as opinion, and we ask you to subject this and all opinions to your discrimination. Q’uo, March 29, 1992.

Once again, Q’uo speaks about the unique nature of prayer being as unique as are the people who pray:

“There are as many ways to pray as there are people who seek to join in union with the one infinite Creator that is their beginning, their end, and their deepest truth. We would assure you that there are no mistakes. If there is an intention to pray, [however you choose to pray] will be an effective way for you to pray.

Remember always that thanksgiving, praise and devotion are also ways to pray—to enter the silence and to feel the union with the One that opens to you that gateway to intelligent infinity.” Q’uo, January 30, 2010

I love Q’uo’s suggestion that one of the most effective means of prayer are thanksgiving, praise and devotion. I think that this type of praying is effective in reaffirming our natures as portions of the one infinite Creator. As portions of the one Creator we are blessed by Its grace, Its peace, and that grand overview that continues to inform us of the beauty and purpose of our lives. In my Morning Offering I say this prayer in my attempt to thank the Creator, the Father, for my life:

Father, we praise and bless your holy name and thank you once again today for this amazing opportunity that you have given us: to be alive in your infinite creation and to be able to seek you and serve you with every thought, word, and deed. Father, you already know the needs of all of your children. Your blessings are always upon us. Open our eyes and our hearts to them that we may ever be aware of the wonders of your works. Amen.

This evening we will begin a healing workshop with about ten good friends of L/L Research to see how we can manifest healing the wounds of mind, body, and spirit that everyone suffers at some time within the third-density experience. Beyond Reason And Comfort

I am the spirit of the consciousness of love, the creative principle of the universe and all that is manifested within it.

To deal with words is to become involved in overstatement and understatement, both of which are unavoidable. And to seem to be rational is a situation we must endure. For the spirit of mighty love is anything but rational. And its strength lies not in man’s ability to reason it out but in the ability of spirit to gaze beyond the reason of man.

Thus it will sometimes seem to you that the spirit is a harsh and unforgiving voice and is perhaps more interested in enriching negative experience than in offering ease and comfort. Yet to be a Comforter is to seek hard times and hard decisions and then to invest such with the consciousness of love. For it is not in comfortable times that a Comforter is needed but during the transformation of difficulty.

We ask you, then, to ask of the spirit not “Why?” but “What?” and “How?” For though we shall not be the voice of reason to you, yet shall the comfort which we do offer be more precious to the seeker than rubies and gold.

Mantras

A mantra is a word or phrase that helps us focus our mind in meditation. It also can have a more specific purpose of focusing our mind on a particular desire that we would like to realize in our life. It can be seen as a seed that we plant in our consciousness, and we water and fertilize it by our attention on a daily basis. There are many popular mantras that have been used by people for over hundreds and thousands of years, and their focus is completely on spiritual principles and religious traditions that also have some kind of communion with the one Creator as their ultimate goal. Here Q’uo shares their perceptions as to how mantras are useful in the spiritual journey in general and in meditation in particular:

An earlier query by the questioner to this instrument provoked in our response a discussion of the nature of sound and the use of the voice. And in answering the latter part of your query, my brother, we would focus upon that topic once again. Mantras are extremely powerful, as you have already discovered. Like the affirmative statements, they must be well chosen, for they bore deeply within the mind.

When appropriately chosen and full of truth for that seeker, the use of the mantra shall indeed create an immediate change in the vibratory level of the seeker. It is a change in vibration which is not specific. It is a change in vibration which goes to the deepest roots of consciousness. For in the deepest roots of consciousness, the name of every seeker is the one infinite Creator. Whatever god-name that a mantra contains is the deepest, truest name of the self. You are calling to your self across the aeons of timelessness and time, spacelessness and space, moving to that one point where you and the Creator are one. This is meat, as the one known as Jesus the Christ says, of which the world knows not. This is drink, after which the seeker shall never thirst.

Working with mantras is working with the archetypal mind. In a way, this is also a magical working. However, because of the fact that it is without form, not being a statement but a name or principle, there is a safety involved in that the mind cannot do anything with that word, or god-name, or naked principle which is the mantra. And so it lets it go down immediately into the subconscious mind.

As with all magical rituals, repetition is a key to the effectiveness and the power of the ritual. That change in consciousness which is sought becomes more and more easily, even effortlessly, achieved as the habit deepens of using this mantra. It is, as the questioner said in the round-robin discussion before this channeling began, a most effective way of smoothing out the bumps in the personality shell. It brings one to a world where suffering and catalyst, light and dark, day and night are subsumed into a sacred space where all is one and all is well. This being the deeper truth, it informs the lesser truth, so the life is transformed in a way which cannot be explained intellectually but which nevertheless is very effective. Q’uo, March 29, 2008.

The following mantras are from the Hindu tradition.

Om — It is one of the most important, popular and sacred Hindu mantras and symbols. It is equally popular among Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists. Most of the Vedic mantras contain Om. It is the most basic mantra yet the most important as well as it is the source of all Hindu mantras. It represents soul and ultimate truth or divine knowledge. You can chant this mantra aloud, or internally, or meditate on it. There are many ways Om is used. It is the most respected and revered word in Hinduism.

om namah shivaya – This mantra is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and it is one of the most popular Shiva mantras. It is easy to chant and pronounce, and its meaning is adoration to Shiva.

The next  mantra is the main mantra of the hare Krishna movement and also called the maha mantra of Vaishnavas.

“I invoke the Universal sound and the Green Tara to bring deliverance from suffering and delusion, paving the way for compassion and Enlightenment. I offer this prayer to Green Tara.”

This morning I decided to treat myself to a meal for lunch from the Village Anchor, a restaurant just two blocks away. I ordered green chili wontons and picked them up as a take out meal after I had gone to the vet to pick up some meds for Boscoe and then to Walgreen’s Drug Store to pick up some eggs and ice cream.

This afternoon I decided to vacuum the first floor of the house a day early as we are beginning a healing workshop Friday through Sunday. I also washed a load of clothes to have that Friday job done before the workshop begins.

Discrimination

I am the consciousness of love, the full principle of the creative love of Jesus Christ, the exemplar to a torn world of the whole and shining garment of light that is the creation.

Many false prophets have spoken and been heard throughout the ages of humankind and many now are among you. We who wish to create opportunities for enhanced growth of spirit within the hearts of all people wish nothing more than to join hands and hearts in the service of the Lord Jesus Christ for the transformation of your rounded world into a sphere which manifests the light which lies within it.

Yet would we rather urge discrimination of the most fastidious kind than acts of faith without judgment. For though we do not ask that you judge your actions or those of others in such a way that you cripple yourself with guilt or anger, nevertheless we do request that the full use of your powers of discrimination be used in listening to any words, however wonderful the source may seem. For if we have miracles between our lines, that shall become apparent to you who ponder these poor thoughts which we offer in the service of love.

May you go your way in peace, now and ever. Amen.

Meditation

Ever since 1962, the Confederation of Planets in the Service of the One Infinite Creator has suggested that our greatest tool in following our spiritual paths and being of service to others is meditation. Meditation is a practice that is available to everyone and, when used on a daily basis, can give us an enhanced perception of the Creator and the creation around us. At the beginning of this chapter I introduced the basic concept of meditation and how it could become more and more helpful as part of our spiritual journey. Now I would like to go deeper into different types of meditation.

Breathing techniques

There are many different kinds of breathing techniques which are useful in developing a meditative practice. The simplest was suggested by Ra in 49.8, where they did not offer any deviation from our normal process of breathing:

“The passive meditation involving the clearing of the mind—the emptying of the mental jumble which is characteristic of mind complex activity among your peoples—is efficacious for those whose goal is to achieve an inner silence as a base from which to listen to the Creator. This is an useful and helpful tool, and is, by far, the most generally useful type of meditation as opposed to contemplation or prayer.”

Both prayer and meditation are ways of communing with the Creator. Prayer is our means of speaking to the Creator and thanking the Creator for our very lives and the opportunity to serve the Creator in all beings through our words, our thoughts, and our deeds. Silent meditation, on the other hand, is our means of listening to the Creator for Its messages which might come in a variety of ways: intuitive flashes indicating a direction or pattern of thought; images meant to inspire; deep silence that may dissolve fears and doubts; coincidences and synchronicities confirming our thoughts and actions; and we may even hear or see words giving us a specific direction or pattern of thoughts although it is more likely that the messages will be in thoughts too deep for words.

Another form of meditation is called mindfulness meditation, and it is often used to help in overcoming dissatisfaction, impatience, intolerance and many of the other habits that keep us from living fuller, happier lives. Keeping the back straight, feet on the floor, and hands in the lap is the required posture. Then become aware of the breath or other body sensations along with any thoughts that come into the mind, and these are ways of focusing your attention with the objective of being honest with yourself as to how you feel about these thoughts. This type of meditation has proven to be helpful in dealing with stress and anxiety.

For people who have a hard time remaining motionless the movement meditation, especially the walking meditation, allows one to combine mindfulness with a physical discipline like yoga or tai chi. You can also combine it with more regular activities like walking your dog, gardening, playing golf or even taking a bath. This type of meditation works well for people who have more success in concentrating their attention when their bodies are in motion.

Deep breathing is also a very popular type of meditative technique. Concentrating on the breath seems to be much easier when the breath is exaggerated as it is in deep breathing. In this type of deep breathing meditation, another technique that can be used with deep breathing is holding the breath for a certain period of time on the inhale, the exhale, or both. For some people holding the breath also enhances the activation of the higher energy centers. However, it seems that keeping the inner focus on the indigo-ray energy center in any variation of this meditative technique creates a greater possibility of activation of the higher energy centers. The goal of this type of meditation is to activate the intelligent energy of the indigo chakra and then, perhaps, make contact with the intelligent infinity of the violet ray chakra. Both of these chakras offer a further experience of the one Creator available from the meditative state.

In 42.13 Ra mentioned visualization meditation as a means of increasing our attention span:

Questioner: Can you mention some exercises for helping to increase the attention span?

Ra: I am Ra. Such exercises are common among the many mystical traditions of your entities. The visualization of a shape and color which is of personal inspirational quality to the meditator is the heart of what you would call the religious aspects of this sort of visualization.

The visualization of simple shapes and colors which have no innate inspirational quality to the entity form the basis for what you may call your magical traditions.

Whether you image the rose or the circle is not important. However, it is suggested that one or the other path towards visualization be chosen in order to exercise this faculty. This is due to the careful arrangement of shapes and colors which have been described as visualizations by those steeped in the magical tradition.

In 49.8, Ra listed more uses of the visualization type of meditation:

The type of meditation which may be called visualization has as its goal not that which is contained in the meditation itself. Visualization is the tool of the adept. Those who learn to hold visual images in mind are developing an inner concentrative power that can transcend boredom and discomfort. When this ability has become crystallized in an adept, the adept may then do polarizing in consciousness without external action which can affect the planetary consciousness. This is the reason for existence of the so-called white magician. Only those wishing to pursue the conscious raising of planetary vibration will find visualization to be a particularly satisfying type of meditation.

The last type of meditation that I would like to share with you is one of the first ones that I learned from the fellow who taught me what he called brain self-control as a form of self-therapy. His meditation technique utilized sitting with the back straight and then keeping the inner vision focused on the indigo-ray energy center. In this configuration most of the time you will see various areas of light and dark all mixed together. He would find an area of light in the center of his inner field of vision and focus on that light until it got bigger and bigger. As it grew in size it would take on the variety of light and dark areas with which he began. He would continue to focus on the center of his inner field of vision and find another point of light. He would keep doing this as a means of keeping his thoughts single-pointed, and every now and then the light would become very bright. I think that this form of meditation, and all forms of meditation for that matter, are a means of listening to or communing with the one Creator, and this is a conversation that we seek as Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning I ran a series of errands with my first stop being at Feeder’s Supply where I bought another 40 lb. bag of bird seed. Then I stopped at the bank to withdraw some money to spend on small purchases. My third stop was at Kroeger’s to get some food that I can’t find at Paul’s Food Market. My fourth stop was at Paul’s Food Market to get some of my favorite food: apple cider and sliced cantaloupe. My last stop was at Walgreen’s where I got some prescriptions filled.

Dance Upon The Road

I am of the consciousness which is the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in divine love.

The far country beckons! The mystery retreats! The road calls the weary pilgrim forward and a new day dawns! Let this day be the day the pilgrim kicks off the dusty shoes and dances upon the road.

Let the heart be merry and light, for within winter’s dimness of day and length of night much is occurring within the body of your planet which shall be cause for great rejoicing.

Similarly, each careworn seeker is gestating within the Christed self that is born within those seeds which shall, in good time, bear fruit.

It is not necessary to await the length of days, the summer’s sun, and the visible harvest, to rejoice in the fecundity of the earth and the perfection of the process of growth. Similarly, rejoice in the process of growth within yourself and be merry this day.

We leave you in the joy and peace of Jesus the Christ, now and forever. Amen.

Quieting the spirit from judgment

“Now, we would not take the power of discrimination from any, for the ability to have insight is a valuable one and it is hard-learned. However, we do encourage each first to examine judgment for kindness and compassion and then to apply that judgment sparingly and accurately, for each within incarnation is a bruised reed, a wounded and fragile living being, and to place the burden of unflinching judgment upon such a precariously alive creature is a cruelty.” Q’uo, May 21, 1995

In the area of any kind of judgement of our spiritual progress I always remember Carla’s saying that “you can’t take your own spiritual temperature.” From years of personal experience of trying to do that for herself, it became readily apparent to her that it was a futile effort because, as Ra said “Understanding is not of this density.” (16.39) If we try to judge ourselves we simply express our lack of confidence in or acceptance of ourselves which gives us a whole new area of self-created blockages to have to work with. Oftentimes self-judgement is a replaying of voices from our youth when we were told that we were not good enough or not smart enough or strong enough to think for ourselves.

So in the quote above Q’uo suggested that we simply take a kindly and compassionate look at our selves, as we would look at anyone else that we truly loved, and realize that we are fragile when it comes to judging ourselves or being judged by anyone else. As much as we think we know the value of how we are progressing on our spiritual journeys, all we can ever really know are what our intentions are as we travel our paths. Nobody is perfect or even close to it within the third-density illusion. The veil of forgetting insures that we will not live up to the highest of standards in our interactions with others. We all have strengths and weaknesses, and many times we will do better than at other times in our attempts to be of service to others. It is far more helpful in the overall sense of our enhancing our self-acceptance if we exercise the faith that all is well and that all will be well if we simply intend to be of service to others and use our wills to make the best effort we can make. Here Q’uo elaborates on this concept:

Now, what is faith? What is that leap into faith, which is not obvious and is not provable? How does that work? There comes a time for each seeker when there is a choice-point at which he must choose to act in faith that all is well in spite of evidence of the contrary, or to retreat in fear into a cave of his own imagining and to be thusly limited.

It is after an entity has chosen by faith to take that leap into faith that faith begins to prove itself a sturdy place to set one’s foot. It is only after the leap into the abyss of the unproven and mysterious that one gains one’s sure footing and becomes fearless and willing to be that entity whose approach to life is to look for love. With the veil in place, the decision to leap into faith has great weight and value.

It is a risky thing to do. It feels risky. It takes courage, integrity and will. It takes that of which the one known as G was speaking as a focus of desire, a seeking, a hunger, a thirst for the Creator, for truth, for love, for beauty. Therefore, there is tremendous intensity and power given to the one who makes that choice in faith. Q’uo, February 13, 2010.

When you stop to think about it, that is really the best anyone can do, and as Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life we always try to do our best.

Then let it go

“Lastly we would recommend the resource of fearlessness. The Purgative Way is one way of saying that things are being purged from you. The human personality wonders, “How much more can I lose before I am no longer myself?” In all humility, my brother, let that self go. For you truly wish to change, to deepen, and to become an ever more fit vessel for the love and the light of the one infinite Creator.

The Dark Night of the Soul is house-cleaning time for the temple of your body and your mind. You are reforming the way that you think about yourself, the way that you see and view yourself. You are moving from the little “I” of ego to the I AM that is the one infinite Creator.” Q’uo, August 7, 2007

In the quieting of our minds, bodies, and spirits we are attempting to let the outer layers of our personality shells fall away in some degree so that we can begin to know more of who we truly are at the level of our soul. This is the beginning of the inner work of living the Law of One. As we continue to travel our spiritual journeys we engage in a constant process of change. Like the cells of our body which are renewed every seven years, the various aspects of what we know as ourselves regarding our minds, bodies, and spirits seem to fall away as we continue to balance all of our outer catalyst with its opposites.

In the quote above Q’uo referred to this process as the “Purgative Way”. We are, in effect, purging our identification with all of these facets of our personality shell as we use the balancing process on our daily catalyst. As we come to know ourselves more and more as 360 degree beings we are becoming able to see this entirety of our being as the one infinite Creator. There is an experience that many seekers of truth have towards the end of this process that is called the “Dark Night of the Soul” where it is obvious to the seeker that it is “moving from the little “I” of ego to the I AM that is the one infinite Creator. Once again Q’uo speaks to this topic and elaborates on its process:

Move, therefore, my friends into the precincts of faith when you are faced with the need to learn a spiritually oriented lesson, for usually such lessons come to you in darkness and in difficulty. There is the temptation at those times to move back into the relative safety of the intellect, where there is no paradox or mystery, but only a linear progression of things learned and things understood.

But if there is the wish to progress spiritually, cling to the consciousness that offers you the faculty of faith. For if you know that all is well, and that the divine plan for your incarnation is working perfectly, you can then take even the harshest circumstance and ask it for the gifts that it brings. You can cooperate with the shape of it, moving into it and towards it rather than away from it or around it. And in that cooperation, transformation occurs and the dark night of the soul yields to a glorious dawn, the sunrise of new peace, new power, new surety.

And if you are one who wishes to offer the gifts of consciousness to others, it depends not on the speeches. Rather, live that which you wish to teach and in your inarticulate being, bursting with love, there is that which shall speak to those whom you wish to aid. Do not be seduced by the cleverness of the intellect, because you shall never talk someone into the Kingdom of Heaven. Be consciousness, share consciousness, let silence grow with your relationship as it will. And trust that that which is within you, which is moving through you from the Creator, shall touch and teach in ways that are too deep for words but are ever so much more powerful. This is the work of the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of life, and it may, indeed, take most of the life experience to accomplish. We shall be working throughout the rest of this book to give the Player the tools with which to accomplish this contact with intelligent infinity or the one infinite Creator.

This morning I thought that I might start filling the trenches holding the old sump pump pipes, but then I thought that might be too much work for my newly inflamed nerve in my left foot. So this afternoon I decided to spray some insect repellent inside the hollowed out part of the giant sycamore tree in the back yard. Then I also sprayed some frame coating paint over the same area so that no more decay will occur in this tree. I also raked up some small tree limbs under the tree and put them in garbage cans for yard waste pickup Thursday.

Invisible Goals

I am the saving spirit of the consciousness of love which is in Jesus the Christ. I greet you with the full power of that consciousness.

Each has sought in the recesses of his heart for that consciousness and met with such a mixture of success and failure that it seems that God is sometimes generous and sometimes withholding.

Yet were the great pattern of being to be laid before the measurement of your mind’s eye, it could be seen that the consciousness of love is infinitely even and disputeth not at what must be done to insure true impartiality of experience to all created beings.

For it is the intent of love that the creations of love are to be creators. And how could that be were there no choices to make, no difficulties to overcome, no mountains to be traversed, and no invisible goals to be set in faith and realized with persistence?

The full consciousness of love embraces each in whatever circumstances. Yet comfort is abundant if each can but ask in faith, knowing that the consciousness of love is indeed within each one. Seek ye, therefore, the peace of utter freedom, freedom to find love in any circumstance whatever and rejoice in the glory of Christ.
