I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 78.9:

“Questioner: Now, we have the First, Second, and Third Distortions of Free Will, Love, and Light. Am I correct in assuming that the central core of this major galaxy began to form with the Third Distortion? That was the origin of our Milky Way Galaxy?

Ra: I am Ra. In the most basic or teleological sense you are incorrect as the One Infinite Creator is all that there is. In an undistorted seed-form you are correct in seeing the first manifestation visible to the eye of the body complex which you inhabit as the Third Distortion, Light, or to use a technical term, limitless light.”

In this question Don is trying to figure out when the core of our Milky Way Galaxy began to form. He asked Ra if it formed after the Free Will of the Creator decided to know Itself, and focused that Free Will upon Love, which created Light. All of the creation is made of Light or the photon vibrating at various angles and rates of vibration. So Don wanted to know if the creation of Light by the One Creator signaled the beginning of the Logos that created our Milky Way Galaxy of 250 billion stars of sub-Logoi like our sun. In 27.14-.17, Don and Ra explored the nature of the creation using the First, Second, and Third distortions of Free Will, Love, and Light:

Questioner: I will make a statement that I have extracted from the physics of Dewey Larson which may or may not be close to what we are trying to explain. Larson says that all is motion, which we can take as vibration; and that vibration, which is pure vibration and is not physical in any way, or in any form, or in any density, that vibration, by . . . first product of that vibration is what we call the photon, particle of light.

I was trying to make an analogy between this physical solution and the concept of love and light. Is this close to the concept of Love creating Light, or not?

Ra: I am Ra. You are correct.

Questioner: Then I will expand a bit more on this concept. We have the infinite vibration of Love which can occur, I am assuming, at varying frequencies, if this has a meaning in this. I would assume that it begins at one basic frequency.

Does this have any meaning? Am I making sense? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. Each Love, as you term the prime movers, comes from one frequency, if you wish to use this term. This frequency is unity. We would perhaps liken it rather to a strength than a frequency, this strength being infinite, the finite qualities being chosen by the particular nature of this primal movement.

Questioner: Then this vibration which is, for lack of better understanding, which we would call pure motion; it is pure Love. It is. . . it is not . . . there is nothing that is yet condensed, shall we say, to form any type, or density, of illusion. This Love then creates, by this process of vibration, a photon, as we call it, which is the basic particle of light. This photon then, by added vibrations and rotations, further condenses into particles of the densities, the various densities that we experience. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.

Questioner: Now, this— Then light which forms the densities has what we call color, and this color is divided into seven categories of color. Can you tell me, is there a reason or an explanation for these categories of color? Can you tell me something about that?

Ra: I am Ra. This will be the last complete question of this session as this instrument is low on vital energy. We will answer briefly, and then you may question further in consequent sessions.

The nature of the vibratory patterns of your universe is dependent upon the configurations placed upon the original material, or Light, by the focus, or Love, using Its intelligent energy to create a certain pattern of illusions, or densities, in order to satisfy Its own intelligent estimate of a method of knowing Itself. Thus the colors, as you call them, are as strait, or narrow, or necessary as is possible to express, given the will of Love.”

In response to Don’s question Ra gave two answers. If we look at the teleological sense of the purpose, principle, or goal of the Creator, the Creator existed before light was created since the Creator is everywhere at all times. No act of the Creator brings It into existence. It just always is. Ra’s second answer affirmed the correctness of Don’s assumption that the central core of the Milky Way Galaxy, or Logos, became visible to our third-density eyes when the Creator made it. In 28.1, Ra first gave us these two principles and called them unpotentiated intelligent infinity and potentiated intelligent infinity:

Questioner: I may be backtracking a little bit and make a few false starts today because I think we are at possibly the most important part of what we are doing in trying to make it apparent, through questioning, how everything is one, and how it comes from one intelligent infinity. This is difficult for me to do, so please bear with my errors in questioning.

The concept that I have right now of the process, using both what you have told me and some of Dewey Larson’s material having to do with the physics of the process— I have the concept that intelligent infinity expands outward from all locations everywhere. It expands outward in every direction uniformly like the surface of a balloon or a bubble, expanding outward from every point everywhere. It expands outward at what’s called unit velocity, or the velocity of light. This is Larson’s idea of the progression of what he calls space/time. Is this concept correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This concept is incorrect, as is any concept of the one intelligent infinity. This concept is correct in the context of one particular Logos, or Love, or focus of this Creator which has chosen Its, shall we say, natural laws and ways of expressing them mathematically and otherwise.

The one undifferentiated intelligent infinity, unpolarized, full and whole, is the macrocosm of the mystery-clad being. We are messengers of the Law of One. Unity, at this approximation of understanding, cannot be specified by any physics but only be activated, or potentiated, intelligent infinity due to the catalyst of free will. This may be difficult to accept. However, the understandings we have to share begin and end in mystery.

This morning I enjoyed the third recording of Carla giving a synopsis of Chapter Three in her Living the Law of One 101: The Choice. This was a treasure trove experience of her most perceptive view of various facets of the Law of One. In one of these facets she was talking about our energy bodies that are associated with our chakras. She said that the Creator’s Consciousness provides the Love that connects our energy bodies to our physical body which gives us life in this third density.

Later in the morning I began to repot two Aloe Vera plants that were in the far back corner of the area behind the kitchen. They have always been very large plants and seemed to have outgrown their pot so that there were many dead leaf fronds that I needed to remove from each major stem. Then I cut the stems off so that the end was pointed and could be inserted into the pot after I dug up the soil deeply enough to receive the stem securely. Eventually I got all the healthy Aloe stems replanted in the two pots, and was glad that I had decided to rescue these two old timers, one of which gave me the only aloe bloom I have ever seen about 15 years ago. It was about three feet tall, yellow, and in a Christmas tree form.

The Arid Seedcases Of Words

I greet you in the consciousness of the love of Jesus Christ.

I am the spirit of that love among the nations of the world, the force which carries the single concept of love in the clumsy containers of words to all who may have ears to hear.

Yet how can words wake up to the aliveness of the spirit, which cannot be contained within the arid seedcases of words? It is a great temptation to speak only in poetry, only in stories, to attempt to evoke feelings beyond words, emotion beyond concept.

For though we offer knowledge, it is not knowledge of words but knowledge of faith. For the full consciousness of love evokes an assurance and a delight. If you feel not these things, ask again for the spirit’s comfort, that you may know the love of Jesus Christ and reflect it in your life; that you, too, may carry in awkward seedcases the living and fructifying love of Christ to all who have ears to hear.

“Questioner: Thank you. In utilizing the energetic displacements of thought-forms energizing the instrument during contact most efficiently, what specifically could we do?

Ra: I am Ra. Each of the support group has an excess of love and light to offer the instrument during the working. Already each sends to the instrument love, light, and thoughts of strength of the physical, mental, and spiritual configurations. These sendings are forms. You may refine these sendings until the fullest manifestations of love and light are sent into the energy web of this entity which functions as instrument. Your exact sending is, in order to be most potent, the creature of your own making.”

In this question Don is referring to 76.2, which was the first session that we had after Carla’s surgery on her elbow three months previously:

Questioner: Will our continued communication with Ra be deleterious to the physical energies of the instrument?

Ra: I am Ra. We may answer in two modes. Firstly, if the instrument were thusly dedicated to this use with no transfer of energy of physical complex nature, it would begin to call upon the vital energy itself, and this, done in any substantive measure, is actively deleterious to a mind/body/spirit complex if that complex wishes further experience in the illusion which it now distorts.

Secondly, if care is taken, firstly, to monitor the outer parameters of the instrument, then to transfer physical energy by sexual transfer, by magical protection, and, lastly, by the energetic displacements of thought-forms energizing the instrument during contact, there is no difficulty in that there is no worsening of the instrument’s mind/body/spirit-complex distortions of strength/weakness.

It is to be noted that the instrument, by dedicating itself to this service, attracts greetings of which you are aware. These are inconvenient but, with care taken, need not be lastingly deleterious either to the instrument or the contact.

In their answer to Don’s question of how best to utilize the “energetic displacements of thought-forms energizing the instrument during contact most efficiently,” Ra suggested that Don and I had extra love and light that we were already offering to Carla to aid her mind, body, and spirit. They said these offerings or sendings were actually forms that we could refine in a way that we could create love and light that would enter Carla’s “energy web” or energy body of chakras to aid her in mind, body, and spirit. Ra finished their answer with a fascinating comment: “Your exact sending is, in order to be most potent, the creature of your own making.” It is almost as if we were creating some form of life that could revitalize Carla. In 69.22, Ra gave us the general principle as to how this process would work in the magical sense:

Questioner: There are many techniques and ways of practicing so-called white magical arts. Are rituals designed by a particular group for their own particular use just as good, or possibly better, than those that have been practiced by groups such as the Order of the Golden Dawn and other magical groups?

Ra: I am Ra. Although we are unable to speak with precision on this query, we may note some gratification that the questioner has penetrated some of the gist of a formidable system of service and discipline.

As I have mentioned in an earlier journal entry, I had devised a type of energizing process to use with Carla at some point within the first few months of the Ra contact. As the session was proceeding, I would meditate and send love and light to Carla through her violet-ray chakra. Then I would visualize it moving down her chakras, or energy body, one by one until it went out through her red-ray chakra and then circled around her in a 360-degree envelope and went back down her violet ray and continued in this circular cycling process for the duration of the session.

Today was a Sabbath Day of Rest. I have recently come into possession of hour-long recordings that Carla made for each of the twelve chapters of Living the Law of One 101: The Choice, so I listened to the second one this morning. It was so good to hear her beautiful voice speaking about spiritual principles which she so inspiringly explained. When she read from the text of the chapter, I was reminded of how well she could narrate the written word. It was such a blessing to feel her presence in her spoken words. At lunch I took my usual errand run to pick up food for the kitty cats at Feeder’s Supply, and then I stopped at Paul’s Fruit Market to pick up some food for me. When I got back home I called two long-time friends who are getting along in years and who have health problems. I just like to check in with them from time to time to see how they are doing and to share what is happening in my life.

The Presence Of Heaven

I am of the principle manifest in the love of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

Where is the keeper of the keys to your idea of heaven? Indeed, what is your idea of heaven? Within the infinity behind the closed eyes, consider this: how far lies heaven or how near? What holy ground is nearest to your own situation?

The spirit of love is that which is the essence of heaven and that heaven is available within each spirit that abides in faith.

Pause within this moment to feel the great galaxies of inner space that lie within the silence behind closed eyes. Sense the divinity of this space. Sense that floor of heaven out of which each entity and all of its experiences grow.

Yes, my friend, your roots are in heaven. That is your native land and you carry it with you, within yourself. It is not to be put off so that you may suffer now. Allow your suffering to lift long enough to sense the blessed presence of love within. This presence is that which you call heaven, whatever its manifestation.

Do not submit to misery when there is, to the faithful seeker, the certainty of heaven. Allow the heaven within to speak to the misery within. Allow the eyes of that consciousness to find for you the peace within suffering, the options not noticed before that may alleviate this suffering and above all the greater point of view which glories in the challenges of lessons learned and heaven recognized within.

“Questioner: The instrument would like for me to ask if there is any problem with her kidneys?

Ra: I am Ra. This query is more complex than its brevity certifies. The physical complex renal system of this instrument is much damaged. The time/space equivalent which rules the body complex is without flaw.

There was a serious question, due to psychic attack, as to whether the spiritual healing of this system would endure. It did so but has the need to be re-enforced by affirmation of the ascendancy of the spiritual over the apparent or visible.

When this instrument began ingesting substances designed to heal in a physical sense, among other things the renal complex, this instrument was ceasing the affirmation of healing. Due to this, again, the healing was weakened. This is of some profound distortion, and it would be well for the instrument to absorb these concepts.

We ask your forgiveness for offering information which may abridge free will, but the dedication of the instrument is such that it would persevere regardless of its condition, if possible. Thusly we offer this information that it may persevere with a fuller distortion towards comfort.”

In this question Don asked Ra if there was a problem with Carla’s kidneys. Carla’s kidneys played a large role in her life story that began when she was 13 years old. She felt that she could not be of service because her parents chose to give her constructive criticism for her accomplishments. They thought that this was the best way to deal with her being a child prodigy rather than giving her praise for her accomplishments. They believed that the constructive criticism would get the most out of her obvious abilities. In 50.5, Ra gave Carla’s pre-incarnative program that her parents were part of that led to their constructive criticisms:

This entity chose, before incarnation, the means whereby catalyst had great probability of being obtained. This entity desired the process of expressing love and light without expecting any return. This instrument programmed also to endeavor to accomplish spiritual work and to comfort itself with companionship in the doing of this work.

Agreements were made prior to incarnation; the first, with the so-called parents and siblings of this entity. This provided the experiential catalyst for the situation of offering radiance of being without expectation of return.

Since Carla felt that she could do nothing right due to the criticisms of her parents, she felt that she was a failure and she prayed to die. Six months later her kidneys failed, and she had an NDE. She was walking along a beautiful trail through a field of flowers, and over the hill was a temple that she knew contained her spiritual family. Before she got there a voice in the air told her that she had chosen a great deal of work to do in one lifetime, and that she could either divide that work into two lifetimes or go back to her current lifetime and do the work that she came to do. So, hearing that there was service that she had to offer in this life, she returned to her pain-ridden body in the hospital bed and resumed her life. In 63.2-.3 Ra summarized this situation:

Questioner: Was the original problem with the kidneys some 25 years ago caused by psychic attack?

Ra: I am Ra. This is only partially correct. There were psychic attack components to the death of this body at that space/time. However, the guiding vibratory complex in this event was the will of the instrument. This instrument desired to leave this plane of existence as it did not feel it could be of service.

Questioner: You are saying that the instrument itself then created the kidney problem at that time?

Ra: I am Ra. The instrument’s desire to leave this density lowered the defenses of an already predisposed weak body complex, and an allergic reaction was so intensified as to cause the complications which distorted the body complex towards unviability.

The will of the instrument, when it found that there was, indeed, work to be done in service, was again the guiding factor, or complex of vibratory patterns, which kept the body complex from surrendering to dissolution of the ties which cause the vitality of life.

In 1978, Don took Carla to Mexico City to have her kidneys healed by Pachita, a woman who discovered her healing ability on the battlefield with Pancho Villa. This is the spiritual healing which Ra talks about in this answer. No one could find a kidney in the Mexico City area, so it seems that Pachita simply materialized one from renal tissue, according to Dr. Andrija Puharich, who met Don and Carla in Mexico City. Pachita used a rusty Boy Scout knife to make the incision across Carla’s lower back, and a friend traveling with them on this adventure said that Don’s face actually turned green while watching the knife move back and forth across Carla’s spine with its blade seemingly completely embedded in Carla’s body. Such healings are not actually taking place in space/time as much as in time/space, or the metaphysical world, although the scars from the “surgery” lasted for two weeks. In 78.6, Ra confirmed that Pachita had, indeed, healed Carla’s kidneys at this time:

Questioner: What was the experience that caused the healing of the time/space kidney?

Ra: I am Ra. This experience was the healing of self by self with the catalyst of the spiritual healer whom you call Pachita.

Apparently the psychic greetings of our friend weakened this healing, and what was needed from Carla was constant reaffirmation of the healing being perfect in time/space. But due to the desire of friends to heal her of various ailments she began taking pills called Pituitone and Spleentone which also worked upon the kidneys and represented a ceasing of this affirmation. This further weakened the healing. From this point on Carla continued to affirm the perfection of her kidneys and had no further problems with them.

Today I was once again honored to join a Zoomcast with Jonathan Tong and the Seattle Law of One Study group. Jonathan began the podcast by asking me to share the situation with the folks in Mayfield, Kentucky where the devastating tornadoes hit on December 10 of last year. I mentioned that many groups from around the country had come to help the folks in Mayfield find some kind of housing, get food every day, get medical treatment, and get clothes as well. The golf course has been turned into a landfill for all the rubble that used to be the homes and businesses. We also talked about the archetypical mind, wanderers, pre-incarnative choices, and about the work of Dr. Michael Newton that he shared in his book, The Journey of Souls. I believe that we all enjoyed our time together as seems so easy to do with Jonathan and his group.

Praise You Like A River

I am of the spirit of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

Open your eyes and praise the good and bounteous Creator.

Open your heart and find the cause for praise in all that you see.

Every dead branch that litters the ground is but a symbol of the health of the tree. Thus those things which seem to be un-praiseworthy are, indeed, cause for thanksgiving.

Just so, your feet are to be praised as they walk upon the road of life. And the road of life is to be praised for holding your being, cradling your consciousness, and opening up eyes that see not only the good in those things beautiful to the eye but the praiseworthy aspects of those things which may seem lesser.

See the pruning of the Father’s universe and praise the good Maker of the peaceful, harmonious and sacrificial plan of change, development, maturity and illumination.

In the end, as you see with eyes of praise, you shall be transparent and praise shall flow from you like a river as it flows into you by your prayer.

“Questioner: Is there anything that we can do after this contact to increase the instrument’s comfort as related to the psychic attack, or is there anything we can do to make the instrument more comfortable or improve the contact in this present situation?

Ra: I am Ra. The faculties of healing which each has commenced energizing may be used. The entity may be encouraged to remain motionless for a period. As it will not appreciate this, we suggest the proper discussion.

The physical appurtenance called the censer was just a degree off, this having no deeper meaning. We do ask, for reasons having to do with the physical comfort of the instrument, that you continue in your careful efforts at alignment. You are conscientious. All is well.

We leave you, my friends, in the glorious love and light of the One Creator. Go forth, therefore, rejoicing in the power and in the peace of the One Infinite Creator. I am Ra. Adonai.”

Carla was under psychic attack/greeting at the beginning of this session. This was usually the case as Ra mentioned in 76.2:

It is to be noted that the instrument, by dedicating itself to this service, attracts greetings of which you are aware. These are inconvenient but, with care taken, need not be lastingly deleterious either to the instrument or the contact.

Don asked Ra how we could aid Carla to recover from this psychic greeting. Ra suggested that we could use the healing practices that Ra had given us back in the first few sessions that we had with them. At this point that was to use the exercise of fire in which we would basically see ourselves within the sun and sending healing rays of light to Carla. In a more general sense we would simply rest back in the effortless harmony that we enjoyed as a group and share the vibrations of love as Ra alluded to in 62.26:

Questioner: Have I missed anything now that we can do at all to aid the instrument during, before, or after a session, or at any time?

Ra: I am Ra. The love and devotion of this group misses nothing. Be at peace. There is some toll for this work. This instrument embraces this, or we could not speak.

Rest, then, in that peace and love, and do as you will, as you wish, as you feel. Let there be an end to worry when this is accomplished. The great healer of distortions is love.

Ra also suggested that it would be helpful to Carla if she were to remain motionless for a while, and I would guess this would be helpful as it might let the negative vibrations of the attack fall away from her body rather than ingraining them with activity. Ra predicted that Carla would not wish to be motionless as she did not like having to curtail her normal activities to give time and attention to yet another psychic greeting, which she would prefer to ignore, for the most part. So Don and I had the “proper discussion” with Carla just to remind her that we needed her help to take care of her, and heeding Ra’s suggestion to just hang out a while would be a good thing to share together. In 94.9, Ra suggested that the harmony of our group was an aid to each of us:

This particular instrument was not trained, nor did it study, nor worked it at any discipline in order to contact Ra. We were able, as we have said many times, to contact this group using this instrument because of the purity of this instrument’s dedication to the service of the One Infinite Creator, and also because of the great amount of harmony and acceptance enjoyed each by each within the group; this situation making it possible for the support group to function without significant distortion.

Ra completed their answer by saying that the censer at Carla’s head was a degree off and that this had “no deeper meaning.” At the beginning of the Ra contact we discovered that Ra used the appurtenances on the table (Bible, candle, incense, and chalice of water) to let us know whether or not our line of questioning was acceptable. Our contact with Ra was a product of free will, and they felt it was an infringement on our free will to just come out and say that our questioning was veering into areas of transitory information that did not bear upon their narrow band contact mission: to share information to aid in the evolution of our minds, bodies, and spirits. So Ra used a code to give us this information. The would say, for example, that the resting place was .5 degree out of alignment as they did in 12.33:

Questioner: Thank you. Is there anything that we can do to make the instrument more comfortable?

Ra: I am Ra. We ask you to realign the object upon which the symbols sit. It is not a significant distortion for one session only, but you will find upon measuring the entire assemblage that the resting place is one point four degrees [1.4°] from the correct alignment, the resting place an additional one-half degree [0.5°] away from proper orientation. Do not concern yourselves overly with this in the space/time nexus present, but do not allow these distortions to remain over a long period or the contact will be gradually impaired.

We finally figured out that a such a tiny measurement was almost impossible to correct, and that it must have a deeper meaning—which we finally determined to be our line of questioning. Interestingly, keeping our line of questioning as true as possible to their narrow band intentions would also aid in Carla’s well-being as she served as the instrument for those of Ra.

This morning I signed 41 letters that we send to donors to L/L Research to thank them for their generous donations. This letter of gratitude can also be used by our donors to get a reduction on their taxes as we are a non-profit organization. After lunch I made a trip to Kroger’s to buy another week’s worth of food. While taking my speed walk I had a phone conversation with an old friend of Don’s who lives in Atlanta. They were both airline pilots back in the 70’s and 80’s, and Milt went into the movie business after he retired from flying. We had a good talk about Don and Carla and the Ra contact. My last job of the day was to vacuum the first floor of the house.

The Winter Of Your Soul

I am the spirit of God in Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

How easy it is in the winter time to abandon the natural world as a source of inspiration, understanding and joy. For your feet touch not the holy ground but, rather, the man-made floors of inner rooms. Your faces feel not the keen sting of cold winds except as you hurry from enclosure to enclosure. And you can hear not, through the thick windows that guard your heat, the many sounds of living creatures rejoicing in their lives.

So it is in the winter time that man does not emulate the tree which puts its roots down into the cold and frozen ground, trusting in the deeper waters of food, nourishment and nurture. For it does not seem that the Creator could possibly intend this season to be blessed.

Yet you, yourselves, are like a tree, and we urge you this day to plant your winter feet upon the frozen ground, trusting as you do so that the living energy of holy ground may, through contact, become yours, that you may have the sense of the dark and secret roots of winter trees gathering, in quietness, all those nutrients in preparation for the time when the soil shall be soft and the wind and sun gentle.

In winter you are a winter flower. Do not cut yourself off from the creation but rejoice with all that you are in the blessedness and sanctity of every portion of your environment, for you shall find strength from the knowledge that you cannot walk except in goodness and light.

“Questioner: In that case, it seems that a thorough knowledge of the precise nature of these philosophical foundations would be of primary importance to the study of evolution of mind, body, and spirit, and I would like to carefully go through each of the basic twenty-one, starting with the mind, if this is agreeable with Ra.

Ra: I am Ra. This is agreeable with two requests which must be made.

Firstly, that an attempt be made to state the student’s grasp of each archetype. We may then comment. We cannot teach/learn to the extent of learn/teaching.

Secondly, we request that it be constantly kept before the mind, as the candle before the eye, that each mind/body/spirit complex shall, and should, and indeed must perceive each archetype, if you use this convenient term, in its own way.

Therefore, you may see that precision is not the goal; rather, quality of general concept complex perception is the goal.”

As we finally decided to pursue the study of the archetypical mind by using the tarot, Ra suggested that we study each image, and then state what our interpretation of the various facets of the image was. Then Ra would comment concerning our accuracy and give additional information about each image to further our grasp of its nature. At a later time Ra suggested that the nature of these images was more to “haunt” rather than to “explicate.” This method of learning removed the possibility of Ra’s infringing on our free will and kept us active in the learning process so that we began to form our own understanding of each image. In 90.29, Ra again reminded us that they did not wish to give us so much information about the archetypes that they became learn/teachers and learned for us what we needed to learn for ourselves:

Questioner: That’s OK. I don’t think that was that good a question anyway.

Now, when Ra initially planned for helping the Egyptians with their evolution, what was the most, or the primary concept—and also secondary and tertiary, if you can name those—that Ra wished to impart to the Egyptians? In other words, what was Ra’s training plan or schedule for making the Egyptians aware of what was necessary for their evolution?

Ra: I am Ra. We came to your peoples to enunciate the Law of One. We wished to impress upon those who wished to learn of unity that in unity all paradoxes are resolved; all that is broken is healed; all that is forgotten is brought to light.

We had no teaching plan, as you have called it, in that our intention when we walked among your peoples was to manifest that which was requested by those learn/teachers to which we had come.

We are aware that this particular line of querying—that is, the nature and architecture of the archetypical mind—has caused the questioner to attempt, to its own mind unsuccessfully, to determine the relative importance of these concepts. We cannot learn/teach for any, nor would we take this opportunity from the questioner. However, we shall comment.

The adept has already worked much, not only within the red, orange, yellow, and green energy centers, but already in the opening of blue and indigo. Up through this point the archetypes function as the great base or plinth of a builded structure or statue, keeping the mind complex viable, level, and available as a resource whenever it may be evoked.

There is a point at which the adept takes up its work. This is the point at which a clear and conscious consideration of the archetypical mind is useful.

I thought that the most interesting thing that Ra had to say about the images was that they had an individualized message or meaning for each seeker. Because of each seeker’s uniqueness, each of the twenty two images of the archetypical mind would also have a unique interpretation and use in the life pattern. So there was no absolute set of “correct” answers that had to be discovered but an interpretation that lived within a general set of characteristics or guidelines for each image. Thus we found that following our intuition, in many cases, allowed our subconscious minds to direct us in some instances toward a deeper, or broader, interpretation of the archetypical images. In 93.23, Ra gave a good overview of how the archetypical images can be uniquely interpreted by each student:

 Questioner: Is there any other aspect of this third card that Ra could comment on at this time?

Ra: I am Ra. There may be said to be many aspects which another student might note and ponder in this image. However, it is the nature of teach/learning to avoid trespass into the realms of learn/teaching for the student. We are quite agreed to comment upon all observations that the student may make. We cannot speak further than this for any student.

We would add that it is expected that each student shall naturally have an unique experience of perception dealing with each image. Therefore, it is not expected that the questioner ask comprehensively for all students. It is, rather, expected and accepted that the questioner will ask a moiety of questions which build up a series of concepts concerning each archetype which then offer to each succeeding student the opportunity for more informed study of the archetypical mind.

This morning Gary, Austin, and I hosted an L/L Research podcast on the nature of money, Ra’s comments about it, and how a spiritual seeker could use money in a positive sense of service to others. Some of the questions we considered were:

1. How are people enslaved by money?
2. Is there any way to avoid enslavement by money?
3. From the spiritual or religious point of view, what would the Biblical quotation have to offer regarding money: “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all else will be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33.
4. Could Right Livelihood from the Buddhist tradition have any ameliorate the enslaving of money?
5. Could giving to charities of time, talent, and money aid the service-to-others entity in its spiritual path?

We had quite the interesting conversation with lots of different angles to approach these questions, and our podcast lasted almost two hours. Austin will have it posted on our website by tomorrow.

Beyond Reason And Comfort

I am the spirit of the consciousness of love, the creative principle of the universe and all that is manifested within it.

To deal with words is to become involved in overstatement and understatement, both of which are unavoidable. And to seem to be rational is a situation we must endure. For the spirit of mighty love is anything but rational. And its strength lies not in man’s ability to reason it out but in the ability of spirit to gaze beyond the reason of man.

Thus it will sometimes seem to you that the spirit is a harsh and unforgiving voice and is perhaps more interested in enriching negative experience than in offering ease and comfort. Yet to be a Comforter is to seek hard times and hard decisions and then to invest such with the consciousness of love. For it is not in comfortable times that a Comforter is needed but during the transformation of difficulty.

We ask you, then, to ask of the spirit not “Why?” but “What?” and “How?” For though we shall not be the voice of reason to you, yet shall the comfort which we do offer be more precious to the seeker than rubies and gold.

“Questioner: In other words you are saying that originally the Logoi that did not choose this free will path did not choose it simply because they had not conceived of it. And later Logoi, extending the First Distortion farther down through their evolution, experienced it as an outcropping or growth from that extension of the First Distortion. Am I correct in saying that?

Ra: I am Ra. Yes.

Questioner: Then did this particular Logos that we experience plan for this polarity and know all about it prior to its plan? That I suspect is what happened.

Ra: I am Ra. This is quite correct.

Questioner: In that case, you would have, as a Logos, you would have the advantage of selecting the form of acceleration, I might say, of spiritual evolution by planning for what we call the major archetypical philosophical foundation and planning these as a function of the polarity that would be gained in third density. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is exquisitely correct.”

In these three questions we are still on the topic of how later Logoi used the veil of forgetting to increase the free will component of third-density entities and speed their evolution through the third density by making the polarization process more efficient. Don describes this process of the later Logoi as “extending the first distortion farther down through their evolution,”  so that they “experienced it as an outcropping or growth from that extension of the first distortion.” Ra agreed this was correct. Now neither Don nor Ra mentioned the veil of forgetting in these three questions and answers, but two sessions later, inn 79.10-.12, they mention how this veil acted to extend free ill to the third-density entities:

Questioner: Then prior to the first extension of the First Distortion, the veil, or loss of awareness, did not occur. Then from this I will make the assumption that this veil, or loss of remembering consciously that which occurred before the incarnation, was the primary tool for extending the First Distortion. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. Your correctness is limited. This was the first tool.

Questioner: Then from that statement I assume that the Logos, contemplating a mechanism to become what it was not, first devised the tool of separating the unconscious from the conscious during what we call physical incarnation to achieve its objective? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. Yes.

Questioner: Then from that statement I also assume that many other tools were conceived and used after the first tool of the so-called veil. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. There have been refinements.

In other words, the third-density entities had more opportunity for using free will when the veil of forgetting blocked their ability to see the unity of creation and required them to search for that unity, which they intuitively knew within the unconscious minds, and become polarized in consciousness as a result. So then Don put all of this information together and said that the Logoi with the veil of forgetting at their disposal could plan how evolution in third density would occur and put this plan into the form of the archetypical mind that would speed the evolutionary process. Ra gave Don an “exquisitely correct” response, which was the strongest possible “yes” that Ra ever gave. Because of this answer we decided to begin a study of the archetypical mind to discover the nature of the process of evolution that everyone on Earth takes part in. We made that choice in the next question, 77.23:

This morning I went to my doctor’s office while fasting in order to have my lab tests done in preparation for my yearly physical that will occur next week. It’s been two years since I have had a physical, due to the Covid pandemic, so we shall see if I am still the healthiest patient that my doctor has.

Discrimination

I am the consciousness of love, the full principle of the creative love of Jesus Christ, the exemplar to a torn world of the whole and shining garment of light that is the creation.

Many false prophets have spoken and been heard throughout the ages of humankind and many now are among you. We who wish to create opportunities for enhanced growth of spirit within the hearts of all people wish nothing more than to join hands and hearts in the service of the Lord Jesus Christ for the transformation of your rounded world into a sphere which manifests the light which lies within it.

Yet would we rather urge discrimination of the most fastidious kind than acts of faith without judgment. For though we do not ask that you judge your actions or those of others in such a way that you cripple yourself with guilt or anger, nevertheless we do request that the full use of your powers of discrimination be used in listening to any words, however wonderful the source may seem. For if we have miracles between our lines, that shall become apparent to you who ponder these poor thoughts which we offer in the service of love.

“Questioner: Now, would it be possible for this work of our density to be performed if all of the sub-Logoi chose the same polarity in any particular expression or evolution of a Logos? Let us make the assumption that our sun created nothing but, through the First Distortion, there was no product except positive polarity. Would work then be done in fourth density and higher as a function only of this positive polarization evolving from our original creation of sub-Logoi?

Ra: I am Ra. Elements of this query illustrate the reason I was unable to answer your previous question without knowledge of the Logos involved.

To turn to your question, there were Logoi which chose to set the plan for the activation of mind/body/spirit complexes through each true-color body without recourse to the prior application of free will. It is, to our knowledge, only in an absence of free will that the conditions of which you speak obtain. In such a procession of densities you find an extraordinarily long, as you measure time, third density; likewise, fourth density. Then, as the entities begin to see the Creator, there is a very rapid, as you measure time, procession towards the eighth density. This is due to the fact that one who knows not, cares not.

Let us illustrate by observing the relative harmony and unchanging quality of existence in one of your, as you call it, primitive tribes. The entities have the concepts of lawful and taboo, but the law is inexorable and all events occur as predestined. There is no concept of right and wrong, good or bad. It is a culture in monochrome. In this context you may see the one you call Lucifer as the true light-bringer in that the knowledge of good and evil both precipitated the mind/body/spirits of this Logos from the Edenic conditions of constant contentment but also provided the impetus to move, to work, and to learn.

Those Logoi whose creations have been set up without free will have not, in the feeling of those Logoi, given the Creator the quality and variety of experience of Itself as have those Logoi which have incorporated free will as paramount. Thusly you find those Logoi moving through the timeless states at what you would see as a later space/time to choose the free will character when elucidating the foundations of each Logos.”

In this question Don asks Ra if it would be possible for work to be done in consciousness if all sub-Logoi chose only the positive polarity to be expressed in their creations. Ra used a primitive culture as an example of a lack of polarity in that there was no good or evil but only that which was lawful or that which was taboo. Ra called it a culture “in monochrome” and suggested that the entity known as Lucifer was actually the “true light-bringer” as it introduced the “knowledge of good and evil” and gave the entities in the primitive culture reasons to move out of their “Edenic conditions” and “work and learn,” in other words to accelerate their spiritual journeys. In 82.21-.22, Ra outlined how the time before the veil of forgetting was like this primitive tribe situation:

Questioner: Then even though, from our point of view, there was great evolutionary experience it was deemed at some point by the evolving Logos that an experiment to create a greater experience was appropriate. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct and may benefit from comment. The Logos is aware of the nature of the third-density requirement for what you have called graduation. All the previous, if you would use this term, experiments, although resulting in many experiences, lacked what was considered the crucial ingredient: that is, polarization.

There was little enough tendency for experience to polarize entities that entities repeated, habitually, the third-density cycles many times over. It was desired that the potential for polarization be made more available.

Questioner: Then since the only possibility at this particular time, as I see it, was a polarization for service to others, I must assume from what you said that even though all were aware of this service-to-others necessity they were unable to achieve it. What was the configuration of mind of the mind/body/spirit complexes at that time? Were they aware of the necessity for the polarization or unaware of it? And if so, why did they have such a difficult time serving others to the extent necessary for graduation since this was the only polarity possible?

Ra: I am Ra. Consider, if you will, the tendency of those who are divinely happy, as you call this distortion, to have little urge to alter, or better, their condition. Such is the result of the mind/body/spirit which is not complex.

There is the possibility of love of other-selves and service to other-selves, but there is the overwhelming awareness of the Creator in the self. The connection with the Creator is that of the umbilical cord. The security is total. Therefore, no love is terribly important; no pain terribly frightening; no effort, therefore, is made to serve for love or to benefit from fear.

So before the knowledge of the concepts of good and evil the third density and fourth densities were repeated many times before graduation was achieved. Ra described the overall situation in which there was no veil as one in which there was an “absence of free will.” This is true only for the third-density entities who did not have the veil of forgetting between their conscious and unconscious minds. And really they did have the ability and freedom to choose their life path. They just couldn’t see much of a reason to take action and better their situation, which was having the sure knowledge that each of them was the Creator. Since there was only the positive polarity there was no choice, no true free will to choose one’s polarity. In the next session, 78.19, Don and Ra described how this situation was changed by the concept of consciousness becoming polarized towards both the good and the evil, or positive and negative polarities:

Questioner: So the original, the first evolution then was planned by the Logos, but the First Distortion was not extended to the product. At some point this First Distortion was extended, and the first service-to-self polarity emerged. Is this correct, and if so could you tell me the history of this process and emergence?

Ra: I am Ra. As proem let me state that the Logoi always conceived of themselves as offering free will to the sub-Logoi in their care. The sub-Logoi had freedom to experience and experiment with consciousness, the experiences of the body, and the illumination of the spirit. That having been said, we shall speak to the point of your query.

The first Logos to instill what you now see as free will in the full sense in its sub-Logoi came to this creation due to contemplation in-depth of the concepts, or possibilities of conceptualizations, of what we have called the significators. The Logos posited the possibility of the mind, the body, and the spirit as being complex. In order for the significator to be what it is not, it then must be granted the free will of the Creator. This set in motion a quite lengthy, in your terms, series of Logoi improving or distilling this seed thought. The key was the significator becoming a complex.

Today I took Boscoe to the vet to have his blood sugars tested for the first time in five weeks. After the results are back on his glucosamine and fructosamine, then we can see if it is time to further reduce his prednisone dose which is now half a 5 mg. tablet every other day and adjust his insulin injections from its present three- and one-half parts twice a day. While I was at the vet’s I also got a syringe of antibiotic for Dan D. Lion who came home last evening with another puncture wound in his right front paw in exactly the same position he had a puncture wound about eight years ago. It is likely that a thorn or a nail went right through his paw in each case, and after the first wound his paw healed with a lot of extra skin and fatty tissue that makes his paw look kind of like a furry marshmallow. So I gave Dan D. an injection of the antibiotic and have kept him in the house all day to keep the wound clean.

Dance Upon The Road

I am of the consciousness which is the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in divine love.

The far country beckons! The mystery retreats! The road calls the weary pilgrim forward and a new day dawns! Let this day be the day the pilgrim kicks off the dusty shoes and dances upon the road.

Let the heart be merry and light, for within winter’s dimness of day and length of night much is occurring within the body of your planet which shall be cause for great rejoicing.

Similarly, each careworn seeker is gestating within the Christed self that is born within those seeds which shall, in good time, bear fruit.

It is not necessary to await the length of days, the summer’s sun, and the visible harvest, to rejoice in the fecundity of the earth and the perfection of the process of growth. Similarly, rejoice in the process of growth within yourself and be merry this day.

“Questioner: I am probably having a problem with the concept of time since it appears that the Logos was aware of the polarization choice. It seems that this choice for polarization at the end of third density is an important philosophical plan for the experience past third density. Am I correct in assuming that this process is a process to create the proper, or the desired, experience that will take place in the creation after third density is complete?

Ra: I am Ra. These philosophical foundations are those of third density. Above this density there remains the recognition of the architecture of the Logos but without the veils which are so integral a part of the process of making the choice in third density.

Questioner: The specific question that I had was that it seems to me that the choice was planned to create intense polarization past third density so that experience would be intense past third density. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. Given that our interpretation of your sound vibration complexes is appropriate, this is incorrect. The intensity of fourth density is that of the refining of the rough-hewn sculpture. This is, indeed, in its own way, quite intense, causing the mind/body/spirit complex to move ever inward and onward in its quest for fuller expression.

However, in third density the statue is forged in the fire. This is a type of intensity which is not the property of fourth, fifth, sixth, or seventh densities.”

In the first question Don is asking Ra if the choice between service to others or service to self that is made in our third density is important because it would allow more intense polarization past third density. In Ra’s response they affirmed that the polarization in consciousness continues, past third density, but it is not such a hidden process as it was in third density. The veils are removed and the process is understood in the higher densities. In 79.41, Ra gave Archetype Seven, the Conqueror or Chariot, as a precursor to the removal of the veil in the higher densities:

Questioner: Would the Conqueror, or Chariot, then, represent the culmination of the action of the first six archetypes into a conquering of the mental processes, even possibly removing the veil?

Ra: I am Ra. This is most perceptive. The Archetype Seven is one difficult to enunciate. We may call it the Path, the Way, or the Great Way of the Mind. Its foundation is a reflection and substantial summary of Archetypes One through Six.

One may also see the Way of the Mind as showing the kingdom or fruits of appropriate travel through the mind in that the mind continues to move as majestically through the material it conceives of as a chariot drawn by royal lions or steeds.

In Don’s second question he asked more specifically if the choice of polarity in the third density was planned to “create intense polarization past third density so that experience would be intense past third density.” In their answer Ra indicated that there are refinements of this choice that are made in the higher densities, but in the third density the “statue is forged in fire.” This means that the adept/Fool is created under the extreme conditions of processing massive amounts of catalyst in the third density which is not the “property of fourth, fifth, sixty, or seventh densities. In 20.24, Ra put a number on the intensity of third-density catalyst compared to all the other densities:

The mind/body/spirit complex of third density has perhaps one hundred times as intensive a program of catalytic action from which to distill distortions and learn/teachings than any other of the densities. Thus the learn/teachings are most confusing to the mind/body/spirit complex which is, shall we say, inundated by the ocean of experience.

This morning I went down to our city clerk’s office to get the little decal that I can put on my car to indicate that I have registered my car with the city. This afternoon I set about repairing the door on my mailbox that came apart a couple of months ago and which I thought I had fixed with wire to hold the door on to the box where the two rivets were. But the wire broke and now I am hoping that by using two strands of wire wound around each other that the door can withstand being opened and shut twice a day for the indefinite future. While I was outside I decided to go inside of the giant hibiscus garden and pick up all the tree leaves that got caught in the fence that surrounds the garden when I tried to blow the leaves out earlier last fall.

Invisible Goals

I am the saving spirit of the consciousness of love which is in Jesus the Christ. I greet you with the full power of that consciousness.

Each has sought in the recesses of his heart for that consciousness and met with such a mixture of success and failure that it seems that God is sometimes generous and sometimes withholding.

Yet were the great pattern of being to be laid before the measurement of your mind’s eye, it could be seen that the consciousness of love is infinitely even and disputeth not at what must be done to insure true impartiality of experience to all created beings.

For it is the intent of love that the creations of love are to be creators. And how could that be were there no choices to make, no difficulties to overcome, no mountains to be traversed, and no invisible goals to be set in faith and realized with persistence?

The full consciousness of love embraces each in whatever circumstances. Yet comfort is abundant if each can but ask in faith, knowing that the consciousness of love is indeed within each one. Seek ye, therefore, the peace of utter freedom, freedom to find love in any circumstance whatever and rejoice in the glory of Christ.

Ra: I am Ra. We cannot reply due to a needed portion of your query which has been omitted; that is, do we speak of this particular Logos?

Questioner: That is correct. I am asking with respect to this particular sub-Logos, our sun, in creating the experience of its planetary system and those sub-Logoi of it.

Ra: I am Ra. This query has substance. We shall begin by turning to an observation of a series of concept complexes of which you are familiar as the tarot.

The philosophy was to create a foundation, first of mind, then of body, and then of spiritual complex. Those concept complexes you call the tarot lie, then, in three groups of seven: the mind cycle, one through seven; the physical complex cycle, eight through fourteen; the spiritual complex cycle, fifteen through twenty-one. The last concept complex may best be termed The Choice.

Upon the foundation of transformation of each complex, with free will guided by the root concepts offered in these cycles, the Logos offered this density the basic architecture of a building and constructing and synthesizing of data culminating in The Choice.”

In these two questions Don seems to be asking Ra about our sun, a sub-Logos of the Logos which created our Milky Way Galaxy, but Ra responded in a way which suggests that Ra is referring to the Logos of our Milky Way Galaxy and not to our sun. In 27.17, Ra gave the basic principle that each Logos entity will provide refinements of experience that will aid the Creator in knowing Itself:

The nature of the vibratory patterns of your universe is dependent upon the configurations placed upon the original material, or Light, by the focus, or Love, using Its intelligent energy to create a certain pattern of illusions, or densities, in order to satisfy Its own intelligent estimate of a method of knowing Itself. Thus the colors, as you call them, are as strait, or narrow, or necessary as is possible to express, given the will of Love.

Toward the center of the creation the One Primal Logos had not yet discovered the concept of free will, so all of the galaxies in that region developed only positive polarity and, therefore, provided less experience for the one Creator by which It would know Itself. In 82.12, Ra described the conditions in third density where there was no concept of free will as there was after the veil of forgetting was put in place later on as with our Milky Way Galaxy:

Questioner: I was interested in specifically how this very first division showed up in this octave. I was interested to know if it made the transition through first, second, third, fourth, fifth, etc., densities?

I would like to take the first mind/body/spirit complexes and trace their experience from the very start to the present so that I would better understand the condition that we are in now by comparing it with this original growth. Could you please tell me precisely how this came about as to the formation, possibly, of the planets and the growth through the densities, if that is the way it happened, please?

Ra: I am Ra. Your queries seem more confused than your basic mental distortions in this area. Let us speak in general, and perhaps you may find a less confused and more simple method of eliciting information in this area.

A very great deal of creation was manifested without the use of the concepts involved in consciousness, as you know it. The creation itself is a form of consciousness which is unified—the Logos being the one great heart of creation.

The process of evolution through this period, which may be seen to be timeless, is most valuable to take into consideration, for it is against the background of this essential unity of the fabric of creation that we find the ultimate development of the Logoi which chose to use that portion of the harvested consciousness of the Creator to move forward with the process of knowledge of self.

As it had been found to be efficient to use the various densities, which are fixed in each octave, in order to create conditions in which self-conscious sub-Logoi could exist, this was carried out throughout the growing flower-strewn field, as your simile suggests, of the One Infinite Creation.

The first beings of mind, body, and spirit were not complex. The experience of mind/body/spirits at the beginning of this octave of experience was singular. There was no third-density forgetting. There was no veil. The lessons of third density are predestined by the very nature of the vibratory rates experienced during this particular density, and by the nature of the quantum jump to the vibratory experiences of fourth density.

However, Ra answered Don’s question by giving us a basic description of how the archetypical mind came into being with the seven categories of mind, seven of body, and seven of spirit being used to describe the nature of the evolutionary process. Then with free will operating in this process it was possible to create the twenty-second concept complex of The Choice. This choice, of course, was the choice of polarity, either positive or negative, service-to-others or service-to-self. In 88.24, Ra went into great detail regarding these facets of the archetypical mind which allows the adept to eventually make The Choice and then go even further in knowing when to become each archetype:

Questioner: Ra must have had a, shall we say, lesson plan or course of training for the twenty-two archetypes to be given either to those of third density of Ra or, later on, to those in Egypt. Would you describe this scenario for the training course?

Ra: I am Ra. This shall be the last full query of this working.

We find it more nearly appropriate to discuss our plans in acquainting initiates upon your own planet with this particular version of the archetypes of the archetypical mind. Our first stage was the presentation of the images, one after the other, in the following order:

one, eight, fifteen;

two, nine, sixteen;

three, ten, seventeen;

four, eleven, eighteen;

five, twelve, nineteen;

six, thirteen, twenty;

seven, fourteen, twenty-one;

twenty-two.

In this way the fundamental relationships between mind, body, and spirit could begin to be discovered; for as one sees, for instance, the Matrix of the Mind in comparison to the Matrices of Body and Spirit, one may draw certain tentative conclusions.

When at length the student had mastered these visualizations and had considered each of the seven classifications of archetype (looking at the relationships between mind, body, and spirit) we then suggested consideration of archetypes in pairs:

one and two;

three and four;

five;

six and seven.

You may continue in this form for the body and spirit archetypes.

You will note that the consideration of the Significator was left unpaired, for the Significator shall be paired with Archetype Twenty-Two.

At the end of this line of inquiry the student was beginning to grasp more and more deeply the qualities and resonances of each archetype. At this point, using various other aids to spiritual evolution, we encouraged the initiate to learn to become each archetype and, most importantly, to know, as best as possible within your illusion, when the adoption of the archetype’s persona would be spiritually or metaphysically helpful.

As you can see, much work was done creatively by each initiate. We have no dogma to offer. Each perceives that which is needful and helpful to the self.

Today was a Sabbath Day of Rest, and I spent some time looking at a lecture that I recently found from when Carla and I went to Middletown, OH. in October of 1985. I had not seen this talk for years, and it was good to think back upon that time in our lives. At noon I made my usual errand run to Feeder’s Supply to buy food for the kitty cats. Then I stopped by Paul’s Fruit Market to buy some food for me. My last stop was at Walgreen’s Drug Store to buy some non-food items. While I was out I noticed that some of the tires on Stanley looked low, so when I got back home I used my air tank to fill three of the tires to their proper level. In the afternoon I did some more work on the upcoming podcast this Thursday on the topic of money.

Glad Tidings

Greetings in the consciousness of love. I am the Holy Spirit of Jesus the Christ, the bringer of glad tidings to all who have ears to hear.

My children, rejoice! For the glad tidings which we of the principle of love bear is that there is love in all things. It is a matter of recognition, not creation; reflection, not origination. For love was brought into the world as the world, the world itself being part of the consciousness of love.

There is no thing outside of the consciousness of love, only time’s confused and crazed reflections through the cracked glass of imperfect reflection. Whatever lies in front of you this day is filled with joy and replete with peace. And were you to be able to go forward in time you would see, with no need for faith, that all things have indeed occurred so that your joy may be whole.

Thus if you sorrow this day, by faith you may rejoice in your sorrow. There is no greater peace than the recognition of the consciousness of love in every perfected part of the present day.

Love wishes love peace, now and evermore. Amen.

I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 77.8-.10:

“Questioner: Finally, she wishes to know why several days ago her heart rate went up to 115 per minute, and then she had extreme pain in her stomach. “Was that an Orion greeting?” it says.

Ra: I am Ra. Although this experience was energized by the Orion group, the events mentioned, as well as others more serious, were proximally caused by the ingestion of certain foodstuffs in what you call your tablet form.

Questioner: Can you tell me what these tablets were, specifically?

Ra: I am Ra. We examine this query for the Law of Confusion and find ourselves close to the boundary, but acceptably so.

The substance which caused the bodily reaction of the heartbeat was called Pituitone by those which manufacture it. That which caused the difficulty which seemed to be cramping of the lower abdominal musculature, but was in fact more organic in nature, was a substance called Spleentone.

This instrument has a physical body complex of complicated balances which afford it physical existence. Were the view taken that certain functions and chemicals found in the healthy, as you call it, body complex are lacking in this one, and, therefore, simply must be replenished, the intake of the many substances which this instrument began would be appropriate. However, this particular physical vehicle has, for approximately twenty-five of your years, been vital due to the spirit, the mind, and the will being harmoniously dedicated to fulfilling the service it chose to offer.

Therefore, physical healing techniques are inappropriate whereas mental and spiritual healing techniques are beneficial.

Questioner: Is there any technique which we could do that we have not been doing that would be beneficial for the instrument in this case?

Ra: I am Ra. We might suggest, without facetiousness, two. Firstly, let the instrument remove the possibility of further ingestion of this group of foodstuffs.

Secondly, each of the group may become aware of the will to a greater extent. We cannot instruct upon this but merely indicate, as we have previously, that it is a vital key to the evolution of the mind/body/spirit complex.”

Don asked Ra a question from Carla in which she wished to know why her heart rate went up to 115 per minute and when she also had great pain in her stomach. She thought it might have been an Orion greeting. Ra began their answer by saying that Carla had a delicate situation going with her body. There were balances that were necessary for her to simply survive. Ra further stated that taking supplements like she was taking would be appropriate for a person with a healthy body, but Carla was not such a person. The key to Ra’s answer is when they said that Carla’s “physical vehicle has, for approximately twenty-five of your years, been vital due to the spirit, the mind, and the will being harmoniously dedicated to fulfilling the service it chose to offer.” Twenty-five years previous to this question Carla was 13 years old, and her kidneys had failed because she prayed to die. She prayed to die because she did not feel that she could be of service because she was learning a lesson of how to give without expectation of return, and this pre-incarnative choice played out with her mom and dad as they had decided to never compliment her for her achievements. Instead they only gave her constructive criticism because they felt that was the best way to develop her very high intellect. This was symbolically expressed by Ra in 50.5:

This entity chose, before incarnation, the means whereby catalyst had great probability of being obtained. This entity desired the process of expressing love and light without expecting any return. This instrument programmed also to endeavor to accomplish spiritual work and to comfort itself with companionship in the doing of this work.

Agreements were made prior to incarnation; the first, with the so-called parents and siblings of this entity. This provided the experiential catalyst for the situation of offering radiance of being without expectation of return. 

Six weeks after she prayed to die her kidneys failed, and Carla had a NDE and discovered that there was indeed, a way for her to be of service in her life as Ra summarized in 63.2-.3:

Questioner: Was the original problem with the kidneys some 25 years ago caused by psychic attack?

Ra: I am Ra. This is only partially correct. There were psychic attack components to the death of this body at that space/time. However, the guiding vibratory complex in this event was the will of the instrument. This instrument desired to leave this plane of existence as it did not feel it could be of service.

Questioner: You are saying that the instrument itself then created the kidney problem at that time?

Ra: I am Ra. The instrument’s desire to leave this density lowered the defenses of an already predisposed weak body complex, and an allergic reaction was so intensified as to cause the complications which distorted the body complex towards unviability.

The will of the instrument, when it found that there was, indeed, work to be done in service, was again the guiding factor, or complex of vibratory patterns, which kept the body complex from surrendering to dissolution of the ties which cause the vitality of life.

So Carla determined to return to this life and use her spirit, her mind, and her will to perform that service, even with a physical body that was severely limited and seldom had any physical energy. I believe that the pain that she was feeling in the “lower abdominal musculature” was actually her kidneys beginning to fail from her seeking physical healing rather than mental and spiritual healing that Ra said was more appropriate. I believe that mental and spiritual healing were more appropriate because Carla’s service involved serving the One Infinite Creator by means of communication in general and channeling specifically. Her service was purely spiritual in nature, but it required that she also mentally reaffirm the health of her kidneys on a continuous basis. In 80.1, Ra revealed how positive affirmations by Carla could aid her health:

Questioner: Thank you. Could you please give me the condition of the instrument?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument is experiencing mild fluctuations of the physical energy complex which are causing sudden changes from physical energy deficit to some slight physical energy. This is due to many, what you may call, prayers and affirmations offered to and by the instrument—offset by continual greetings whenever it is feasible by the fifth-density entity of whom you are aware.

Ra also recommended that Carla stop takin the Spleentone and use her will to achieve balance and health of mind, body, and spirit. In 52.7, Ra stated this concept clearly:

Instead, we appreciate and recommend the use of your second verb in regard to the use of the will. Acceptance of self, forgiveness of self, and the direction of the will: this is the path towards the disciplined personality. Your faculty of will is that which is powerful within you as co-Creator. You cannot ascribe to this faculty too much importance. Thus it must be carefully used and directed in service to others for those upon the positively oriented path.

This morning I went to the vet to get some medications for my kittie cats, and then I went shopping at Kroger’s for another week’s worth of food for me. This afternoon I made another trip over to southern Indiana to visit a dear friend who lives in a care home there as a result of two strokes she suffered in the summer of 2019. She loves chocolate ice cream, so I took along a little snickerdoodle cake that we split and put the chocolate ice cream on top of it. At 1:30 we had a zoom meet on my computer with a couple of our mutual friends who live in Kentucky but who are not able to travel to see Connie now due to their own health issues. We all had a good talk for about 20 minutes, and then Connie and I meditated before I drove back home.

Useful Challenges

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love divine.

Sometimes we have not the will to go on. Sometimes the consciousness within the body gazes upon the morning with rejection of all that it portends.

These times of discouragement are important. These times of difficulty are to be observed with great compassion and self-forgiveness, for it is within the framework of trouble and sorrow that much of your spiritual work is done.

Therefore, do not chide yourself for your discouragement but rather, praise and thank the blessed Father that in the mysterious way of grace, such dark days may be seen to cause the greatest inner illumination.

Thus, to the discouraged we would say, “Take heart and know that trouble and difficulty are but useful challenges to a servant of the consciousness of love.”

In that love and that peace may you go forward this day and forevermore. Amen.
