I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 67.20-21:

“Questioner: Now, the main point of this line of questioning has to do with the First Distortion and the fact that this window existed. Was this, shall I say, a portion of the random window effect? And are we experiencing the same type of balancing in receiving the offerings of this entity as the planet in general receives because of the window effect?

Ra: I am Ra. This is precisely correct. As the planetary sphere accepts more highly evolved positive entities or groups with information to offer, the same opportunity must be offered to similarly wise negatively oriented entities or groups.

Questioner: Then we experience in this seeming difficulty the, what I would call, effect of the wisdom of the First Distortion, and for that reason must fully accept the wisdom of that which we experience. This is my personal view. Is it congruent with Ra’s?

Ra: I am Ra. In our view we would perhaps go further in expressing appreciation of this opportunity. This is an intensive opportunity in that it is quite markèd in its effects, both actual and potential, and as it affects the instrument’s distortions towards pain and other difficulties, such as the dizziness, it enables the instrument to continuously choose to serve others and to serve the Creator.

Similarly it offers a continual opportunity for each in the group to express support under more distorted, or difficult, circumstances of the other-self experiencing the brunt, shall we say, of this attack, thus being able to demonstrate the love and light of the Infinite Creator; and, furthermore, choosing working by working to continue to serve as messengers for this information which we attempt to offer and to serve the Creator thereby.

Thus the opportunities are quite noticeable as well as the distortions caused by this circumstance.”

In previous questions and answers we discovered that our fifth-density negative friend was able to use its magical abilities to move through a window, or hole, in the quarantine net that surrounds Earth in order to make its attempts to stop the Ra contact through various psychic greetings. In the first question here we discovered that this small window in the quarantine net plays a role in helping to balance the positive information that we had to offer Earth in our contact with Ra. So our opportunity to share Ra’s positive information required that our negative friend have a chance to stop the Ra contact. In 72.7, Ra elaborated as to how this balancing of positive and negative opportunities has a magical component and also a potential of assistance from sources of light:

Questioner: We have here, I believe, a very important principle with respect to the Law of One. You have stated that the attitude of the individual is of paramount importance for the Orion entity to be able to be effective. Would you please explain how this mechanism works with respect to the Law of One, and why the attitude of the entity is of paramount importance, and why this allows for action by the Orion entity?

Ra: I am Ra. The Law of Confusion, or Free Will, is utterly paramount in the workings of the infinite creation. That which is intended has as much intensity of attraction to the polar opposite as the intensity of the intention or desire.

Thus those whose desires are shallow or transitory experience only ephemeral configurations of what might be called the magical circumstance. There is a turning point, a fulcrum which swings as a mind/body/spirit complex tunes its will to service. If this will and desire is for service to others, the corresponding polarity will be activated.

In the circumstance of this group there are three such wills acting as one with the instrument in the, shall we say, central position of fidelity to service. This is as it must be for the balance of the working and the continuance of the contact. Our vibratory complex is one-pointed in these workings also, and our will to serve is also of some degree of purity. This has created the attraction of the polar opposite which you experience.

We may note that such a configuration of free will, one-pointed in service to others, also has the potential for the alerting of a great mass of light strength. This positive light strength, however, operates also under free will, and must be invoked.

We could not speak to this and shall not guide you, for the nature of this contact is such that the purity of your free will must, above all things, be preserved. Thus you wend your way through experiences discovering those biases which may be helpful.

So in Don’s second question Ra greed with Don that the psychic greetings from our negative friend were best viewed by us as opportunities to learn and to serve more purely. By testing our resolve to continue to be of service through having sessions with Ra, Carla was given the opportunity to deepen her resolve to serve the One Creator as the instrument for the Ra contact and, of necessity, bear the brunt of the greetings. Don and I had the chance to increase our desire to support Carla in her having to do this. This point of view gave each of us a greater opportunity to polarize in the positive sense by seeing our negative friend as a portion of the Creator. When we perceived a psychic greeting coming our way, we would take Ra’s suggestion in 44.10

To share the difficult contact with the other-selves associated with this working and to meditate in love for these senders of images and light for self and other-selves is the most available means of nullifying the effects of such occurrences. To downgrade these experiences by the use of intellect or the disciplines of will is to invite the prolonging of the effects. Far better, then, to share in trust such experiences and join hearts and souls in love and light with compassion for the sender and armor for the self.

This morning I went outside and looked at the huge number of Sycamore leaves on the ground in the front and side yards once again. I gave up all hope of putting this mass of leaves in garbage cans and proceeded to blow them into position with my backpack blower so that I could crunch them into leaf dust with my big mower.

This afternoon I pumped out one quarter of the water in the fish pond and refilled it with fresh water. While the water was pumping out I cleaned the filters and then took my speed walk. When I got back from the walk decided to use my blower once again to blow the leaves in the north side of the back yard into position behind the garage and then used my big mower to crunch them into leaf dust. My last job of the day was to vacuum the first floor of the house.

The Blessedness Of Agony

I am the spirit of the consciousness of love, the principle of Jesus Christ in the vibration which comforts this instrument and many besides.

We come to all, to each in the vibration which may comfort each, for Christ discriminates not betwixt souls, considering one to be more blessed or beloved than another. Nor does the principle of love consider one situation to be more blessed than another.

You who are fortunate and content may consider yourselves blessed, yet you are no more blessed or beloved than the soul which is in torment or in agony. When the soul may begin to see the blessedness of agony and the glory of honest error and slothful iniquity, embracing all and offering all alike to Christ in thanksgiving, then we may speak more and more clearly and more often.

The seasons of repentance are also seasons of fruitful listening to those who seek to cherish their pain but not the agony which produces pain. Cherish not your hurt but your sin, offering it and all of your old life to Christ. For in the surrender of responsibility is also the acceptance of redemption. We say this not to encourage a spirit of carelessness but rather a deeper responsibility; that is, the responsibility to see the face of Christ and not the face of humankind. For are you not a dweller in eternity?

“Questioner: We would welcome the services of the entity who uses, and I will use the misnomer, you might say, of attack, since I do not consider this an attack but an offering of service, and we welcome this offering of service—but we would be able, I believe, to make more full use of the service if it were not physically disabling the instrument in a minor way. For with a greater physical ability she would be able to more appreciate the service. We would greatly appreciate it if the service was carried on in some manner which we could welcome in even greater love than at present. This, I assume, would be some service that would not include the dizzying effect.

I am trying to understand the mechanism of this service by the entity that seems to be constantly with us, and I am trying to understand the origin of this entity and the mechanism of greeting us. I will make a statement that is probably not only incorrect but is a function of my extreme limitation in understanding the other densities and how they work.

I am guessing that this particular entity is a member of the Orion Confederation and is possibly, or possibly not, incarnate in a body of the appropriate density, which I assume is the fifth, and by mental discipline he has been able to project a portion if not all of his consciousness to our coordinates, you might say, here, and it is possibly one of the seven bodies that make up his mind/body/spirit complex. Is any of this correct, and can you tell me what is correct or incorrect about that statement?

Ra: I am Ra. The statement is substantially correct.

Questioner: Would you rather not give me information as to the specifics of my statement?

Ra: I am Ra. We did not perceive a query in further detail. Please re-question.

Questioner: Which body, with respect to the colors, does the entity use to travel to us?

Ra: I am Ra. This query is not particularly simple to answer due to the transdimensional nature, not only of space/time to time/space, but from density to density. The time/space light or fifth-density body is used while the space/time fifth-density body remains in fifth density. The assumption that the consciousness is projected thereby is correct. The assumption that this conscious vehicle, attached to the space/time fifth-density physical complex, is that vehicle which works in this particular service is correct.”

Don started off this session with his usual question to Ra concerning the condition of the instrument. Ra replied that our fifth-density negative friend was intensifying Carla’s arthritically related pain as well as her ear problems that could be intensified into a state of dizziness for her. Then Don took a tack that I have never quite understood, even after all these years. I can understand not calling this action of our negative friend a psychic attack but a service, as Don mentioned, because we benefit more from seeing all that happens to us as an opportunity to learn. That is why we began calling psychic attacks psychic greetings. In 55.2, Ra described how Don and I could be of service to Carla by opening our hearts in love to her during the times of these psychic greetings:

Questioner: Is there any specific thing that we can do that you have already told us? Or otherwise to alleviate this psychic attack or to help the instrument the most?

Ra: I am Ra. We scan this instrument and find its distortion towards appreciation of each entity and each entity’s caring, as you may call it. This atmosphere, shall we say, offers the greatest contrast to the discomfort of such psychic attacks, being the reciprocal, that is, the atmosphere of psychic support.

This each of you do as a subconscious function of true attitudinal, mental, emotional, and spiritual distortions towards this instrument. There is no magic greater than honest distortion toward love.

But then Don added, “But we would be able, I believe, to make more full use of the service if it were not physically disabling the instrument in a minor way.” I do not see how Don could expect our negative friend to back off on its effort to stop the Ra contract for any reason, let alone helping us to “make more full use of the service.” We did gain some interesting information from Ra in response to Don’s second question as to which body our negative friend used to travel to us. Ra said that the light body of fifth density was used in time/space, or the inner planes, to project its consciousness to our location to do its work. In 67.13-15, Ra gave us a detailed description of how our negative friend of fifth density traveled to us:

Questioner: I was wondering about the magical, shall I say, principles behind the fifth-density entity giving this service and his ability to give it. Why is he able to utilize these particular physical distortions from a philosophical or magical point of view?

Ra: I am Ra. This entity is able to, shall we say, penetrate in time/space configuration the field of this particular entity. It has moved through the quarantine without any vehicle and, thus, has been more able to escape detection by the net of the Guardians.

This is the great virtue of the magical working whereby consciousness is sent forth, essentially without vehicle, as light. The light would work instantly upon an untuned individual by suggestion; that is, the stepping out in front of the traffic because the suggestion is that there is no traffic. This entity, as each in this group, is enough disciplined in the ways of love and light that it is not suggestible to any great extent.

However, there is a predisposition of the physical complex which this entity is making maximal use of as regards the instrument, hoping, for instance, by means of increasing dizziness to cause the instrument to fall or to, indeed, walk in front of your traffic because of impaired vision.

The magical principles, shall we say, may be loosely translated into your system of magic whereby symbols are used and traced and visualized in order to develop the power of the light.

Questioner: Do you mean then that this fifth-density entity visualizes certain symbols? I am assuming that these symbols are of a nature where their continued use would have some power or charge. Am I correct?

Ra: I am Ra. You are correct. In fifth density light is as visible a tool as your pencil’s writing.

Questioner: Then am I correct in assuming this entity configures the light into symbology, that is what we would call a physical presence? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect. The light is used to create a sufficient purity of environment for the entity to place its consciousness in a carefully created light vehicle which then uses the tools of light to do its working. The will and presence are those of the entity doing the working.

I know that Don had good reasons for seeming to be so naïve in this series of questions–and many others like them in this session–but we never really talked about it since every session with Ra was such an amazing collection of information, so I don’t know what those reasons were. Don was the most intelligent person that I have ever known: very wise, careful, and focused. Maybe when I see him next on the other side of the veil we will have some ambrosia nectar wine in an inner planes café and talk about back in the old days on Earth, and the answer to the riddle will be revealed.

This morning I had an early appointment with my eye doctor, and she said that my vision has remained the same for the last four years and no further correction was needed. On the way home I stopped by the City Clerk in Anchorage and paid my Civic Club dues in order to get the current phone book. When I got home I went outside and blew the leaves from the Sycamore tree into formation so that I could crunch them into leaf dust with my big mower. You may remember that yesterday I was hopeful that I could begin bagging the leaves in garbage cans, but the Sycamore must have decided to start dropping its remaining leaves in great profusion because they were all over the side and front yards. They are even getting in the rain gutters which means I will have to use my extension ladder and blow them out after the Sycamore is finally done dropping leaves. By the way, this is a HUGE Sycamore. The circumference of its trunk is about twelve feet around.

The Heavenly Food Of Love

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

Let not any fear dismay you this day. Let thy shoulders turn towards that which warms the soul. Let thy heart rest on that which feeds the heart. For the heavenly food of love and joy permeate the creation. And to one who can open like a flower to feel the subtle sunshine of silent love within creation, there is abundant thanksgiving in all directions.

Be aware of the plenty, the fullness, the grace, and the surety of love. You are loved most deeply. Go your way therefore in peace, carrying within you the precious burden of that love, that you may share it with a universe all too unaware of its own glory.

“Questioner: Can you describe what you call the psychic attack component and tell me why it is strong at this particular time?

Ra: I am Ra. We shall elect not to retrace previously given information but, rather, elect to note that the psychic attack upon this instrument is at a constant level as long as it continues in this particular service.

Variations towards the distortion of intensity of attack occur due to the opportunities presented by the entity in any weakness. At this particular nexus the entity has been dealing with the distortion which you call pain for some time, as you call this measurement, and this has a cumulatively weakening effect upon physical energy levels. This creates a particularly favorable target of opportunity, and the entity of which we have previously spoken has taken this opportunity to attempt to be of service in its own way.

It is fortunate for the ongoing vitality of this contact that the instrument is a strong-willed entity with little tendency towards the distortion called among your peoples, hysteria, since the dizzying effects of this attack have been constant and at times disruptive for several of your diurnal periods.

However, this particular entity is adapting well to the situation without undue distortions towards fear. Thus the psychic attack is not successful but does have some draining influence upon the instrument.”

At the beginning of each session Don would ask Ra what Carla’s condition was. In this session Ra mentioned that Carla was experiencing a strong psychic attack component, or psychic greetings as we came to call them. Psychic greetings could only be offered by our negative friend in ways that were already available targets of opportunity. In Carla’s case her weakened physical body was the most frequently utilized opportunity for intensification of the limitations and pain that her arthritic condition presented. After a long period of experiencing pain her body was open to even more greetings in the form of further pain and limitation. In 67.21, Ra and Don were looking on the positive side of our experiencing continuous psychic greetings:

Questioner: Then we experience in this seeming difficulty the, what I would call, effect of the wisdom of the First Distortion, and for that reason must fully accept the wisdom of that which we experience. This is my personal view. Is it congruent with Ra’s?

In this instance there was also a dizzying component to the greeting. Ra mentioned that it was a good thing that Carla had a strong will and wished to serve the Creator no matter what the obstacles were because without such a strong will it would be easy for the normal person to give in to hysteria. Carla’s fearlessness, her sense of humor, and her faith gave her the tools to deal with these psychic greetings which were consistently presented to her for as long as the Ra contact lasted. Fortunately most seekers of truth will never have to deal with such greetings. In 57.1, Ra gave an example of how Carla’s sense of humor was helpful in dealing with psychic greetings:

Questioner: Could you first give me an indication of the instrument’s condition, please?

Ra: I am Ra. This instrument is under a most severe psychic attack. This instrument is bearing up well due to replenished vital energies and a distortion towards a sense of proportion which your peoples call a sense of humor.

This attack is potentially disruptive to this contact for a brief period of your space/time.

In 53.1, Ra spoke about how Carla’s will was not just conscious in nature but also subconsciously focused on reserving all of her energy to have sessions with those of Ra:

In answer to the second query, we may say that the physical complex difficulties prior to contact with our social memory complex are due to the action of the subconscious will of the instrument. This will is extremely strong and requires the mind/body/spirit complex to reserve all available physical and vital energies for the contact. Thus the discomforts are experienced due to the dramatic distortion towards physical weakness while this energy is diverted. The entity is, it may be noted, also under psychic attack, and this intensifies pre-existing conditions and is responsible for the cramping and the dizziness as well as mind-complex distortions.

In 39.1, Ra said that Carla’s purity of desire to serve also was an important factor in our being able to have sessions with Ra:

Questioner: The instrument was wondering if her fragile feeling was the result of the chemical ingestion of about six weeks ago?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. This instrument is now undergoing the most intensive period of physical-complex debilitation/distortion due to the doubling effects of the two ingestions. This instrument may expect this extremity to proceed for a period of fifteen to twenty of your diurnal cycles. The weakness distortions will then begin to lift, however, not as rapidly as we first thought due to this instrument’s ongoing weakness distortions.

This instrument is very fortunate in having a support group which impresses upon it the caution necessary as regards these sessions at this time. This instrument is capable of almost instantaneously clearing the mental/emotional complex and the spiritual complex for the purity this working requires, but this instrument’s distortion towards fidelity to service does not function to its best use of judgment regarding the weakness distortions of the physical complex. Thus we appreciate your assistance at space/times such as that in your most recent decision-making not to have a working. This was the appropriate decision, and the guidance given this instrument was helpful.

This morning I went outside and decided to blow the leaves in the back yard into the area around the back of the garage and then use my big mower to crunch them into leaf dust. There are lots less leaves left on the trees, and I may be able to handle what is left on the trees to putting into garbage cans for yard waste to take away. We shall see.

This afternoon I got more gas for my mower as it ran out just as I was finishing the leaf crunching this morning. Then I stopped by the Anchorage City Clerk’s office to get a couple of Anchorage calendars for next year. I also got my speed walk in plus a bath and cleaning and feeding the kitty cats upstairs earlier than usual as we have a channeling circle this evening that begins at 5 pm.

The Bloom And Fruit Of Peace

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

Peace is much sought after among your people. Yet as you gaze out upon a barren winter landscape you may not see the great peace which is engendered by all those plants as they dream within the seeds and roots of their being, creating by will and thought and the grace of Jesus Christ those formations and changes which in time shall bring forth bloom and fruit.

The human idea of peace is rest without thought. Yet the inner man seeks a different peace and must listen to the voices of the natural world and the inner signal of creation and inner change. This is the peace that is spiritual and frequently it feels not at all like peace but rather like strife. For change and growth are painful, and there may be long periods when there is no evidence of bloom or fruit.

May the peace of Jesus the Christ be your hope and your inner reality, that you may grow more and more into the kingdom of heaven. We leave you in the peace that truly passes all human understanding, now and ever. Amen.

“Questioner: This planet, to me, seems to be what I would call a cesspool of distortions. This includes all diseases and malfunctions of the physical body in general. It would seem to me that, on the average, this planet would be very, very high on the list if we just took the overall amount of these problems. Am I . . . is my feeling correct in this assumption?

Ra: I am Ra. We will review previous material.

Catalyst is offered to the entity. If it is not used by the mind complex it will then filter through to the body complex and manifest as some form of physical distortion. The more efficient the use of catalyst, the less physical distortion to be found.

There are, in the case of those you call wanderers, not only a congenital difficulty in dealing with the third-density vibratory patterns, but also a recollection, however dim, that these distortions are not necessary or usual in the home vibration.

We over-generalize as always, for there are many cases of pre-incarnative decisions which result in physical or mental limitations and distortions, but we feel that you are addressing the question of widespread distortions towards misery of one form or another.

Indeed, on some third-density planetary spheres catalyst has been used more efficiently. In the case of your planetary sphere there is much inefficient use of catalyst and, therefore, much physical distortion.”

In general Ra agreed with Don that there is a lot of catalyst on planet Earth that has not been well used by its population. Various kinds of diseases plague Earth’s inhabitants one after another. However, we must remember that most diseases are symbolic of some kind of lesson that awaits the learning. As Ra has said in 12.24:

There are no mistakes under the Law of One.

The basic tenet of disease, according to Ra, is that first catalyst is presented to the mind of the seeker. Usually the catalyst is closely connected to pre-incarnative choices of certain lessons that the seeker wishes to learn during the incarnation. If the catalyst is not recognized by the mind, then it is given to the body in the form of some physical disease or distortion that is more likely to get the seeker’s attention. As the healing of the disease is sought, the wise seeker looks first to the kind of disease and which energy center it is related to. Correlations then can be made that will aid in the learning of the basic lesson in question, and thus the disease can be “cured” as the lesson is learned. In 102.2, Ra related how a momentary blockage of Carla’s yellow-ray energy center snowballed into activating many pre-existing distortions in her abdominal area:

Questioner: Will Ra please tell us what caused the pain and cramping in the instrument’s stomach, and what could be done to heal it?

Ra: In order to observe the cause of physical distortions toward illness one must look to the energy center which is blocked. In this situation, the blockage being yellow-ray, the experience has had the characteristics of that region of the chemical body. The so-called lacuna in the wind-written armor of light and love was closed and not only repaired but much improved.

However, the distortions energized during this momentary lapse from free energy flow are serious and shall be continuing for, in all possibility/probability vortices, some of your space/time, for a predisposition to spasticity in the transverse colon has been energized.

There is also pre-existing weakness in pancreatic function, especially that linked with the hypothalamus. There is also the pre-existing damage to portions of the liver.

These lacks or distortions manifest in that portion of the system directly proceeding from the jejunum. Further, there is some irritation closer to the duodenum which causes the instrument to fail in assimilating foodstuffs. This is an allopathically caused irritation.

The diet is of central import. We can go no further in observing the system of the entity as a full discussion of those distortions towards various weakness/strengths which contribute to the present difficulty begin with the lips and end with the anus.

We may note that the instrument has remained centered upon the Creator at a percentage exceeding ninety. This is the key. Continue in thanksgiving and gratitude for all things.

There are stronger anti-spasmodic drugs which the one not known to this instrument, but known as Arthur, may aid by the offering. The recommendation to do this—being as it is that which does not retain or remove life, and does further remove from the instrument its opportunities for study in this situation—needs must be withheld. We are not in a position to recommend treatment at this space/time beyond the watching of the types of foodstuffs ingested.

In 102.11, Ra gave the frame of mind that Carla could use to cure this blockage of her yellow-ray energy center:

Questioner: Now, is there— The two areas then that the instrument can look to for curing this problem . . . I understand that the yellow-ray blockage problem has completely repaired, shall I say. If this is not correct, could you make suggestions on that please?

Ra: I am Ra. Each entity must, in order to completely unblock yellow ray, love all which are in relationship to it, with hope only of the other-selves’ joy, peace, and comfort.

Ra suggested that wanderers are a unique case in that they are from a higher density and may have certain disorders present in mind, body, or emotions that are related to their difficulty in blending their higher vibrations with the Earth’s more disharmonious vibrations. This difficulty is enhanced when the wanderer compares Earth’s vibrations on either a conscious or subconscious level with its home density where such difficult vibrations are not present. In 12.30, Ra described some of the types of distortions that wanderers suffer on Earth:

Questioner: I just had a thought. Do any of these wanderers have physical ailments in this earth situation?

Ra: I am Ra. Due to the extreme variance between the vibratory distortions of third density and those of the more dense densities, if you will, wanderers have, as a general rule, some form of handicap, difficulty, or feeling of alienation which is severe. The most common of these difficulties are alienation, the reaction against the planetary vibration by personality disorders, as you would call them, and body complex ailments indicating difficulty in adjustment to the planetary vibrations such as allergies, as you would call them.

In 12.31, Ra gave the means by which any wanderer may achieve healing and also how Carla could heal her blockage in her indigo-ray chakra:

Questioner: Is there a best way for these entities to heal themselves of their physical ailments?

Ra: I am Ra. This will be the last complete question of this time/space.

The self-healing distortion is effected through realization of the intelligent infinity resting within. This is blocked in some way in those who are not perfectly balanced in bodily complexes. The blockage varies from entity to entity. It requires the conscious awareness of the spiritual nature of reality, if you will, and the corresponding pourings of this reality into the individual mind/body/spirit complex for healing to take place.

We will use this instrument as example. The portions of its ailment, as you call this distortion complex, that can be perfected in balance are due primarily to a blockage of the indigo-ray, or pineal, energy center. This center receives the intelligent energy from all sources lawful within the One Creation; that is, lawful in this third-density distortion or illusion. If there is no blockage, these energies pour or stream down into the mind/body/spirit complex, perfecting, moment by moment, the individual’s body complex.

This instrument also experiences some distortion of the green-ray energy center which you may call the heart center. It is overly open due to an intensive desire-distortion on the part of this mind/body/spirit complex towards service to others, or as you may call it, universal love. This entity, therefore, spends itself without regard to its reserves of mind/body/spirit-complex distortion in regard to what you call strength or energy. This distortion is primarily due to the blockage of the indigo ray, as we have said before. The misapprehension-distortion of the instrument responsible for this blockage is the basic orientation towards a belief in unworthiness. The unworthiness-distortion blocks the free flow of intelligent energy.

The seventh, or violet, ray is unimpaired, this being not only an energy receptor but a sum total of the vibratory level of the individual. The other energy centers are also quite clear. The solution to healing in this case is action that puts into practice the peaceful understanding, in humility-distortion, that the entity is one with the Creator, therefore perfected and not separate. In each case of what you would call ill health, one or more of these energy centers is blocked. The intelligence of the mind/body/spirit complex needs, then, to be alerted either by the self as healer or by the catalyst of another healer, as we have said before.

In 4.20, Ra stated this basic principle in a slightly different way:

Questioner: My objective is primarily to discover more of the Law of One, and it would be very helpful to discover techniques of healing. I am aware of your problem with respect to free will. Can you make— You cannot make suggestions, so I will ask you if you can state the Law of One and the laws of healing to me?

Ra: I am Ra. The Law of One, though beyond the limitations of name, as you call vibratory sound complexes, may be approximated by stating that all things are one, that there is no polarity, no right or wrong, no disharmony, but only identity. All is one, and that one is love/light, light/love, the Infinite Creator.

One of the primal distortions of the Law of One is that of healing. Healing occurs when a mind/body/spirit complex realizes, deep within itself, the Law of One; that is, that there is no disharmony, no imperfection; that all is complete and whole and perfect. Thus, the intelligent infinity within this mind/body/spirit complex re-forms the illusion of body, mind, or spirit to a form congruent with the Law of One. The healer acts as energizer or catalyst for this completely individual process.

This morning I went outside and targeted the front and side yards for my leaf crunching today. I used my trusty backpack blower to blow the leaves into position, and then I took a break to join a Zoom meet with a fellow who forgot about our appointment. So I had an early lunch, meditated, and went back outside in the afternoon to use my big mower to crunch the leaves into dust and fertilizer for the area between the fish pond and the pet cemetery. I also hired a couple of fellows from a local lawn service to blow the leaves out of my gutters since the days of my walking the roof with my backpack blower to do this myself are over. However, my last job of the day was to blow the leaves, that they blew out of the gutter and to the ground, into piles with the plan for tomorrow being to put them in garbage cans.

The Skin Of Your Illusion

I am the spirit of the living Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

Take a moment this morning to gaze at the many imperfections of the skin which covers your physical body and know that it is the metaphor for all the imperfections of the world about you.

Turn inward and walk, within the mind, up the dark tower of good intention, resting at the landing to remove that imperfect outer covering. Behold! There is a basin of living water which may cleanse and make alive that which is wholly spiritual within you. Bathe freely and joyously.

Rise, then, step by step, until the dark tower opens into the seat of prayer, where the soul gazes out the window into divine light. Know that that cleanliness of soul which you desire has been seated deep within, so that, as you move down those same stairs and don again the imperfect covering of humanity and go out now into the mundane creation, you shall shine from within with the light of Christ.

For that which is outer in the world or in person is only a covering which partakes of imperfection and which partakes of an illusion. Never rest upon the surface of anything but, rather, upon the light of Christ within.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 66.33:

“Questioner: I am trying to understand the way that disease and bodily distortions are generated with respect to polarities, both positive and negative. It seems that they are generated in some way to create the split or polarization, that they have a function in creating the original polarization that occurs in third-density. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is not precisely correct. Distortions of the bodily or mental complex are those distortions found in beings which have need of experiences which aid in polarization. These polarizations may be those of entities which have already chosen the path or polarization to be followed.

It is more likely for positively oriented individuals to be experiencing distortions within the physical complex due to the lack of consuming interest in the self and the emphasis on service to others.

Moreover, in an unpolarized entity catalyst of the physical distortion nature will be generated at random. The hopeful result is, as you say, the original choice of polarity. Oftentimes this choice is not made, but the catalyst continues to be generated.

In the negatively oriented individual the physical body is likely to be more carefully tended and the mind disciplined against physical distortions.”

In this question Don asked Ra if diseases and various bodily distortions might be used by both positive and negative entities to create the basic, or beginning, polarizations in their consciousness. Ra gave a qualified yes by saying that these diseases and bodily distortions might also be used by both positive and negative entities who have already made the choice of polarity. Ra went on to say that often positive entities experience these bodily distortions because they are more interested in being of service to others than in taking care of their own physical needs. In 61.7, Ra described how Don, Carla, and I were experiencing catalyst in our bodies that was designed to help each of us enhance our polarization in consciousness:

Questioner: Second question: could you give an example of how feelings affect portions of the body and the sensations of the body?

Ra: I am Ra. It is nearly impossible to speak generally of these mechanisms, for each entity of proper seniority has its own programming. Of the less aware entities we may say that the connection will often seem random as the higher self continues producing catalyst until a bias occurs. In each programmed individual the sensitivities are far more active, and, as we have said, that catalyst not used fully by the mind and spirit is given to the body.

Thus you may see in this entity the numbing of the arms and the hands signifying this entity’s failure to surrender to the loss of control over the life. Thus, this drama is enacted in the physical-distortion complex.

In the questioner we may see the desire not to be carrying the load it carries given as physical manifestation of the soreness of those muscles for carrying used. That which is truly needed to be carried is a pre-incarnative responsibility which seems highly inconvenient.

In the case of the scribe we see a weariness and numbness of feelings ensuing from lack of using catalyst designed to sensitize this entity to quite significant influxes of unfamiliar distortion complexes of the mental/emotional and spiritual level. As the numbness removes itself from the higher, or more responsive, complexes, the bodily-complex distortions will vanish. This is true also of the other examples.

We would note at this time that the totally efficient use of catalyst upon your plane is extremely rare.

Ra also said that in the unpolarized entity the catalyst of physical distortions would more likely be generated randomly with the hope that the unpolarized entity would use this catalyst to make its original choice of polarity. Ra concluded by saying that negatively oriented entities are far more likely to tend to their bodies because of their extreme self-interest. In 64.16, Ra stated these concepts clearly:

Questioner: Let us assume that a bodily distortion occurs within a particular entity who then has a choice of seeking allopathic aid or experiencing the catalyst of the distortion and not seeking correction of the distortion. Can you comment on the two possibilities for this entity and his analysis of each path?

Ra: I am Ra. If the entity is polarized towards service to others, analysis properly proceeds along the lines of consideration of which path offers the most opportunity for service to others.

For the negatively polarized entity the antithesis is the case.

For the unpolarized entity the considerations are random and, most likely, in the direction of the distortion towards comfort.

This morning I went shopping for groceries at Kroger’s and stopped by Walgreens’ Drug Store to pick up a couple of prescriptions on the way home.

This afternoon I did a few small jobs in the yard that have needed doing for a while. I began with taking down the large hammock in Dana’s Crystal Corner which has had plenty of time to dry out as it has been a few days since our last rain. Then I used my 10 foot ladder to stand on to strip off the English Ivy on the Redbud tree in the front yard. I am continually amazed at how tightly English Ivy can hang onto any surface it chooses. I couldn’t get the highest of the ivy to come off, but at least it will not kill the tree now. My last little job was to go around the yard and pick up the small tree limbs that have come down in the last few days.

Black, White And Gray

I am the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ, of the consciousness of love in the vibration which comforts this instrument. I greet you in the name of love and in its full consciousness.

As always, we bring you news of the kingdom, the kingdom which you call heaven but which is, in fact, the kingdom of true perception. For as you gaze about you within your quotidian days, your rituals and rites of dailiness, you judge and deem the nature of all things in shades of gray.

Yet in the kingdom of heaven are all things light. The thought of blackness is possible as a supposition but as an actuality, the concept of the mixture of white and black becoming gray is unthinkable, for light is exclusive to light, and all things are filled with that light to the exclusion of any shade or variation.

Thus at this moment each soul is full of light, full of life, and full of true perception. Yet your quotidian eyes bring about a curtain of shadow, an illusion which colors action and makes it possible.

Attempt, within your world of gray, as you act, to realize that behind all action there is an absolute reality. Therein lies the strength of faith and thence you may obtain the will to persevere in any circumstance, knowing that true perception shall yield to you the full consciousness of love and the absolute lucidity of light.

“Questioner: The planet has a certain set of conditions prior to transition into fourth density, that is in late third density, and then the conditions are different in early fourth density. Could you give me an example of a negatively polarized planet and the conditions in late third density and early fourth density, so that I can see how they change?

Ra: I am Ra. The vibrations from third to fourth density change on a negatively oriented planet precisely as they do upon a positively oriented planet. With fourth-density negative comes many abilities and possibilities of which you are familiar. The fourth density is more dense, and it is far more difficult to hide the true vibrations of the mind/body/spirit complex. This enables fourth-density negatives, as well as positives, the chance to form social memory complexes. It enables negatively oriented entities the opportunity for a different set of parameters with which to show their power over others and to be of service to the self. The conditions are the same as far as the vibrations are concerned.

Questioner: I was concerned about the amount of physical distortions, disease, and that sort of thing in third-density negative just before harvest and in fourth-density negative just after harvest or in transition. What are the conditions of the physical problems, disease, etc., at late third-density negative?

Ra: I am Ra. Each planetary experience is unique. The problems, shall we say, of bellicose actions are more likely to be of pressing concern to late third-density negative entities than the earth’s reactions to negativity of the planetary mind, for it is often by such warlike attitudes on a global scale that the necessary negative polarization is achieved.

As fourth density occurs there is a new planet and new physical vehicle system gradually expressing itself, and the parameters of bellicose actions become those of thought rather than manifested weapons.”

In these two questions Don asked Ra how the conditions on a planet that is moving in the negative sense into fourth density would change as this transition is made from the third to the fourth density. Basically, Ra said that the vibrations change on a negative planet moving into the fourth density in much the same way that they do on a positively oriented planet. Each entity that makes the harvest develops the ability to see the thoughts of others. For positive entities this aids in the harmonious formation of the social memory complex. For negative entities this allows those who are more powerful to see how to control those who are less powerful. In 38.14, Ra elaborated on how this process is undertaken on a negative early fourth-density planet:

 Questioner: All right, I’ll just ask this one. I have here that—

Could you give me some idea of what conditions are like on a fourth-density negative, or self-service, planet? Can you do this?

Ra: I am Ra. The graduation into fourth-density negative is achieved by those beings who have consciously contacted intelligent infinity through the use of red, orange, and yellow rays of energy. Therefore, the planetary conditions of fourth-density negative include the constant alignment and realignment of entities in efforts to form the dominant patterns of combined energy.

The early fourth density is one of the most intensive struggle. When the order of authority has been established and all have fought until convinced that each is in the proper placement for power structure, the social memory complex begins. Always the fourth-density effects of telepathy and the transparency of thought are attempted to be used for the sake of those at the apex of the power structure.

This, as you may see, is often quite damaging to the further polarization of fourth-density negative entities, for the further negative polarization can only come about through group effort. As the fourth-density entities manage to combine, they then polarize through such services to self as those offered by the crusaders of Orion.

The chances of global warfare are apparently much greater on a negatively oriented planet as separation from and domination over other groups is the means by which all negative entities progress. I am wondering how many negatively oriented planets attempting to make their transition into the negative realms of fourth density have destroyed their planets like those of Maldek did. Maldek was much like Earth with both polarities having a small potential harvest with the great majority needing to repeat third density. In 11.3, Ra mentioned the similarities between Maldek and Earth:

Questioner: You said yesterday that Maldek was destroyed due to warfare. If Maldek hadn’t destroyed itself due to warfare, would it have become a planet that evolved with self-service? And would the entities have increased in density, gone on to, say, the fourth, fifth density in the negative sense or the sense of self-service?

Ra: I am Ra. The planetary social memory complex, Maldek, had in common with your own sphere the situation of a mixture of energy direction. Thus it, though unknown, would most probably have been a mixed harvest—a few moving to fourth density, a few moving towards fourth density in service to self, the great majority repeating third density. This is approximate due to the fact that parallel possibility/probability vortices cease when action occurs and new probability/possibility vortices are begun.

Ra finished their answer by mentioning that as the negative harvest proceeds into the fourth density that the new fourth-density planet and the new fourth-density bodies offer those of negative polarity the means by which to conduct further warfare by using thought rather than physical weaponry. I also wonder how this thought warfare compares in destructive capacity to third-density atomic bombs laser weapons, and particle beams. In 25.5-.6, Ra described this type of thought war that is apparently ongoing at this time between the Confederation and the Orion group:

Questioner: You spoke of an Orion Confederation and a battle being fought between the Confederation and the Orion Confederation. Is it possible to convey any concept of how this battle is fought?

Ra: I am Ra. Picture, if you will, your mind. Picture it then in total unity with all other minds of your society. You are then single-minded, and that which is a weak electrical charge in your physical illusion is now an enormously powerful machine whereby thoughts may be projected as things.

In this endeavor the Orion group charges, or attacks, the Confederation arms with light. The result, a standoff, as you would call it, both energies being somewhat depleted by this and needing to regroup; the negative depleted through failure to manipulate, the positive depleted through failure to accept that which is given.

Questioner: Could you amplify the meaning of what you said by “failure to accept that which is given?”

Ra: I am Ra. At the level of time/space at which this takes place in the form of what you may call thought-war, the most accepting and loving energy would be to so love those who wished to manipulate that those entities were surrounded, engulfed, and transformed by positive energies.

This, however, being a battle of equals, the Confederation is aware that it cannot, on equal footing, allow itself to be manipulated in order to remain purely positive, for then, though pure, it would not be of any consequence, having been placed by the so-called powers of darkness under the heel, as you may say.

It is thus that those who deal with this thought-war must be defensive rather than accepting in order to preserve their usefulness in service to others. Thusly, they cannot accept fully what the Orion Confederation wishes to give, that being enslavement. Thusly, some polarity is lost due to this friction, and both sides, if you will, must then regroup.

It has not been fruitful for either side. The only consequence which has been helpful is a balancing of the energies available to this planet so that these energies have less necessity to be balanced in this space/time, thus lessening the chances of planetary annihilation.

Today was a Sabbath Day of Rest. I enjoyed a good deal more meditation today as there was no outside work that would take time away from meditation and work on a talk that I will be giving next year. At noon I made my usual errand run stopping at Feeder’s Supply to buy food for the cats and then at PetSmart to buy some greenie pouches for two of Boscoe’s bitter-tasting meds. My next stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market to buy some food for myself. My last stop was at Walgreen’s Drug Store to pick up some non-food items.

Contemplate Freedom

I am the voice of Him who comes in the name of love and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

How many things are before each of you today, things that seem to be cages, traps, limitations and limiters of freedom?

This day, let us contemplate freedom. For what is it to be free?

To be free is to be that entity which realizes itself an actor, an heir of Christ and a son of the Creator, an affirmative and utterly free sensibility and consciousness.

The outer details and conditions of this day need have veritably no relevancy to your self-concept of the joy of freedom. For if, in your heart and in your mind, you are free to think and to choose and to act, then you have found the greater portion of love. For you are then able to act, to love, to comfort, and to seek to understand.

Use the freedom that is yours affirmatively, not against or in spite of people or conditions, but moving always straight as the arrow to its mark, knowing, feeling and being free: free to love, free to understand, and free to console. And as you console, so shall you be comforted.

The spirit of Jesus Christ is with you always in love and peace, now and ever. Amen.

“Questioner: Now, you mentioned the problems with the action in the King’s Chamber of the Giza-type pyramid. I am assuming if we used the same geometrical configuration that is used at the pyramid at Giza, this would be perfectly all right for the pyramid placed beneath the head since we wouldn’t be using the King’s Chamber radiations but only the third spiral from the top. And I’m also asking would it be better to use a 60° apex angle than the larger apex angle? Would it provide a better energy source?

Ra: I am Ra. For energy through the apex angle, the Giza pyramid offers an excellent model. Simply be sure the pyramid is so small that there is no entity small enough to crawl inside it.

Questioner: I assume that this energy, then, this spiraling light energy, is somehow absorbed by the energy field of the body. Is this somehow connected to the indigo energy center? Am I correct in this guess?

Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect. The properties of this energy are such as to move within the field of the physical complex and irradiate each cell of the space/time body and, as this is done, irradiate also the time/space equivalent which is closely aligned with the space/time yellow-ray body. This is not a function of the etheric body or of free will. This is a radiation much like your sun’s rays. Thus it should be used with care.”

In this series of questions Don is talking about pyramids again, but the first question here is focused primarily on the small pyramid that Ra said you could place beneath your pillow and head while in bed and receive benefits. In 66.22, Ra listed those benefits:

The vibration offered by the energizing spiral of the pyramid is such that each cell, both in space/time and in time/space, is charged as if hooked to your electricity. The keenness of mind, the physical and sexual energy of body, and the attunement of will of spirit are all touched by this energizing influence. It may be used in any of these ways. It is possible to over-charge a battery, and this is the cause of our cautioning any who use such pyramidal energies to remove the pyramid after a charge has been received.

So Don’s question was whether the 76 degree 18 minute Giza Pyramid apex angle would be best, or if we should go with the 60 degree apex angle that doesn’t create the dangerous King’s Chamber position. Ra recommended the Giza Pyramid apex angle as most appropriate. But they also warned that we should be careful that no small creature got inside such a pyramid as it would be dangerous for such a being. However, most pyramids that I have seen that are small enough to put beneath your head are solid and would not permit anything to get inside of them. In 58.3, Ra listed the reason that the King’s Chamber position is considered dangerous:

It is to be noted that these shapes are dangerous. We are quite pleased to have the opportunity to enlarge upon the subject of shapes such as the pyramid, for we wish, as part of our honor/duty, to state that there are many wrong uses for these curved shapes; for with improper placement, improper intentions, or lack of the crystallized being functioning as channel for healing, the sensitive entity will be distorted more rather than less in some cases.

In Don’s second question he assumed that this energy that is emitted from the apex of the pyramid is absorbed by the energy field of the body and would then work upon the indigo ray. Ra said that was incorrect as this energy worked much like our sun’s rays and would irradiate each cell of the space/time, yellow-ray body as well as the time/space body. Because it works like the sun you must take care in not getting over-radiated or you could get the equivalent of a sun burn throughout your body. In 60.11-.12, Ra said that this ability of the pyramid to irradiate that which was placed above it could be enhanced in larger pyramids:

Questioner: The next statement that I make may or may not be enlightening to me in my investigation of the pyramid energy, but it has occurred to me that the so-called effect in the so-called Bermuda Triangle is possibly due to the large pyramid beneath the water which releases this third spiral at discrete and varying intervals, and when other entities, or craft, are in the vicinity of this it creates a situation where they change space/time continuum in some way. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. Yes.

Questioner: Then this third spiral has an energizing effect that, if strong enough, will actually change the space/time continuum. Is there a use, or value, to this type of change?

Ra: I am Ra. In the hands of one of fifth-density or above this particular energy may be tapped in order to communicate information, love, or light across what you would consider vast distances but which, with this energy, may be considered transdimensional leaps. Also, there is the possibility of travel using this formation of energy.

This morning I decided to get started on crunching the leaves in the back yard while it was too cold for Dan D. Lion to go outside. I got all of the leaves blown into place with my backpack blower and began crunching them just outside the living room before stopping to make my usual Saturday morning errand run to the veterinarian to pick up medications for my kitties.

When I got back I ate lunch and then got myself ready to be on Jonathan Tong’s Zoom meet with the Facebook Law of One study group. We had a great time for the next hour with various members of this group asking me a variety of very good questions regarding the Ra contact and the Law of One.

Then I went back outside and finished crunching the leaves in the rest of the back yard. The leaf dust is a good fertilizer for grass, but I have crunched so many leaves in the area behind the garage that I needed to use my mower and blower to spread out the dust over a larger area. My last job of the afternoon was to take the garden cart loaded with the firewood that I split yesterday afternoon to my neighbors across the street so they can continue to have a fire in their fireplace in the evenings.

The Tide Of Spirit Within

I am the spirit of living love and I greet you in the full consciousness of that love in Jesus Christ.

The sea seems to flow, calm or stormy, with rhythms of its own. And only the sailor who gazes from the shore sees the water meet the earth. One who stands upon the strand of life sees that the water never rests, moving always in rhythm, utterly sensitive to those forces which cause it to advance upon the land and then retreat into the deeps.

So is the seeker’s soul, walking along that ever-changing tidal point of water and earth, of spiritual and natural man. The boundary is not clear but ever-moving and ever-responsive to those great forces of spirit which move, alike, the waters of deep consciousness and the conscious creature who carries the seed within him.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 66.22:

“Questioner: You mentioned that an energizing spiral is emitted from the top of any pyramid, and that you could benefit by placing this under the head for a period of thirty minutes or less. Can you tell me how this third spiral is helpful, and what help it gives the entity who is receiving it?

Ra: I am Ra. There are substances which you may ingest which cause the physical vehicle to experience distortions towards an increase of energy. These substances are crude, working rather roughly upon the body complex, increasing the flow of adrenaline.

The vibration offered by the energizing spiral of the pyramid is such that each cell, both in space/time and in time/space, is charged as if hooked to your electricity. The keenness of mind, the physical and sexual energy of body, and the attunement of will of spirit are all touched by this energizing influence. It may be used in any of these ways.

It is possible to over-charge a battery, and this is the cause of our cautioning any who use such pyramidal energies to remove the pyramid after a charge has been received.”

In this question Don asked Ra how placing a small pyramid under the head might be helpful to the entity who is using it. Ra suggested that there are substances which could be taken which would increase our physical energy in a way similar to the small pyramid, but they are crude in how they work by increasing the flow of adrenaline. For ages people have sought ways in which to increase their physical energy, mental acuity, sexual experiences and their use of their will in seeking the Creator. As we found out in the Ra contact any speeding up drug will cause a corresponding “coming down” and a reduction in the body vitality as Ra described in 18.3:

Questioner: You just stated that you had some problems with the instrument because of the ingestion, by the instrument, of some chemical substance. Can you tell me what the substance was?

Ra: I am Ra. The substance of which we speak is called vibratory sound complex LSD. It does not give poor contact if it is used in conjunction with the contact. The difficulty of this particular substance is that there is, shall we say, a very dramatic drop-off of the effect of this substance. In each case this instrument began the session with the distortion towards extreme vital energy which this substance produces.

However, this entity was, during the session, at the point where this substance no longer was in sufficient strength to amplify the entity’s abilities to express vital energy. Thus, first the phenomenon of, shall we say, a spotty contact, and then, as the instrument relies again upon its own vibrational complexes of vital energy, the vital energy being in this case very low, it became necessary to abruptly cut off communication in order to preserve and nurture the instrument. This particular chemical substance is both helpful and unhelpful in these contacts for the causes given.

In the use of a small pyramid placed under the pillow, Ra suggested that much the same effects can be obtained as with such drugs. The third spiral formed by the pyramid shape is given off like a flame atop the pyramid and charges each cell in the body of the one using it by a kind of electricity. Ra did warn, however, that it well to keep the charging period to 30 minutes or less because it is possible to get too much of a charge of this electricity both in time/space and in space/time. They said that you would know that you have overcharged if you become tired rather than energized. In 59.16, Ra gave a few more details about how this third spiral functions in energizing an entity if placed below the head:

Questioner: Then the third spiral radiating from the top of the pyramid, you say, is used for energizing. Can you tell me what you mean by “energizing?”

Ra: I am Ra. The third spiral is extremely full of the positive effects of directed prana, and that which is placed over such a shape will receive shocks energizing the electromagnetic fields. This can be most stimulating in third-density applications of mental and bodily configurations. However, if allowed to be in place over-long such shocks may traumatize the entity.

In 60.11-.12, Ra confirmed that there are other effects of this third spiral that can be utilized with larger pyramids:

Questioner: The next statement that I make may or may not be enlightening to me in my investigation of the pyramid energy, but it has occurred to me that the so-called effect in the so-called Bermuda Triangle is possibly due to the large pyramid beneath the water which releases this third spiral at discrete and varying intervals, and when other entities, or craft, are in the vicinity of this it creates a situation where they change space/time continuum in some way. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. Yes.

Questioner: Then this third spiral has an energizing effect that, if strong enough, will actually change the space/time continuum. Is there a use, or value, to this type of change?

Ra: I am Ra. In the hands of one of fifth-density or above this particular energy may be tapped in order to communicate information, love, or light across what you would consider vast distances but which, with this energy, may be considered transdimensional leaps. Also, there is the possibility of travel using this formation of energy.

This morning I decided to work in the yard while it was too chilly for Dan D. Lion to go out. So I used my backpack blower to blow the leaves in the front and side yards into locations where I could crunch them into leaf dust with my big mower. It looks like maybe all of the leaves in this area will be down by the end of next week.

In the afternoon I made a trip to The Home Depot to buy more 2-cycle engine oil to mix with regular gasoline for my blower, and then I chopped up the last of the logs by the pet cemetery that were part of a huge tree limb that blew down in an ice storm three years ago. I now have my garden cart full of split firewood for my elderly neighbors across the street who like to have evening fires in their fireplace. I plan to take it to them tomorrow.

Claim Your Good

I am of the principle and spirit of Jesus the Christ and I greet you with the full consciousness of love.

Today I ask you to take hold of your divine good.

There are many situations which do not appear to hold divine good. Yet appearances can be deceiving.

The cry of the child seems full of misfortune. Yet there is the divine good of the cry answered—the nurturing mother who comes and holds the little one to give it comfort and nourishment.

So, too, be not afraid to speak up, to reach out, to know that your good is before you, to ask for it and if you see it not, to ask again. Many are the times that that good is half-hidden or perhaps completely obscured by other things which may not be of divinity, but petty, inconsequential and of the moment. Those things that are not of divinity to you, pass them by and claim your good.

For that which is divine is there for you, just as that which is not. That which is everyday is also before you. Look always for that which is of divine consciousness. Claim your good. Know divine love. And in all ways that you may be able this day, express the consciousness of love that gave you the faith to look for and claim your divine love and good.

We leave you in this consciousness which cannot be understood but only experienced, the consciousness of the love of Jesus the Christ.

The consciousness of His healing peace be with you, now and ever. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 66.20:

“Questioner: I have a written question, two of them actually. The first is would you please list the polarities within the body which are related to the balancing of the energy centers of the various bodies of the unmanifested entity?

Ra: I am Ra. In this question there lies a great deal of thought which we appreciate. It is possible that the question itself may serve to aid meditations upon this particular subject. Each unmanifested self is unique. The basic polarities have to do with the balanced vibratory rates and relationships between the first three energy centers and, to a lesser extent, each of the other energy centers.

May we answer more specifically?”

Don asked Ra this question for me as this area was a part of the healing exercises that Ra gave us. It came from 5.2 where Ra said:

The second area of learn/teaching is the study/understanding of the body complexes. It is necessary to know your body well. This is a matter of using the mind to examine how the feelings, the biases—what you would call the emotions—affect various portions of the body complex. It shall be necessary to both understand the bodily polarities and to accept them, repeating in a chemical/physical manifestation the work you have done upon the mind bethinking the consciousness.

In 33.16, Ra defined the “unmanifested self”:

. . .the self which does not need other-self in order to manifest or act.

I never did get a clear grasp of this question and how to utilize Ra’s answer, but I will share what I came up with. Our unmanifested self is our thinking self, our self in its way of being, that self that comments to its self on everything happening around it. Our unmanifested self is also the self that meditates, prays, contemplates and allows the mind to occasionally wander just to see where it goes. This is also our self that entertains fantasies of one kind of another. This is the keeper of our inner daily diary. Of course, since all this thinking and activity is personal our unmanifested self is unique. In 34.6, Ra gave a description of how our unmanifested self produces catalyst that we may process and use to grow spiritually:

Questioner: Thank you. Can you give me examples of catalytic action to produce learning under each of the following headings from the last session we had . . . Can you give me an example of the self unmanifested producing learning catalyst?

Ra: I am Ra. We observed your interest in the catalyst of pain. This experience is most common among your entities. The pain may be of the physical complex. More often it is of the mental and emotional complex. In some few cases the pain is spiritual in complex-nature. This creates a potential for learning. The lessons to be learned vary. Almost always these lessons include patience, tolerance, and the ability for the light touch.

Very often the catalyst for emotional pain, whether it be the death of the physical complex of one other-self which is loved or some other seeming loss, will simply result in the opposite: in a bitterness, an impatience, a souring. This is catalyst which has gone awry. In these cases, then, there will be additional catalyst provided to offer the unmanifested self further opportunities for discovering the self as all-sufficient Creator containing all that there is and full of joy.

So it seems to me that the polarities of the body in relation to the unmanifested self would focus on a balance between love and wisdom: love of self versus love of other selves, and engaging with others versus being alone. Because the unmanifested self does not need others in order to act it would seem that the focus of love would be upon the self. Eventually this ability to love and accept the self would also have to rise into the higher energy centers and be able to give love to others freely rather than just to the self. It seems to me that staying in the lower three energy centers would be the path of the negative entity, but even the positive entity needs to be able to accept and love itself in the orange and yellow rays as a foundation for being able to love others as well as the self. In 34.9, Ra gave a summary of how the work of the unmanifested self focuses on the second and third energy centers but may also include all of the energy centers:

Questioner: Thank you. Would you give me the same type of information about the self in relation to the societal self?

Ra: I am Ra. The unmanifested self may find its lessons those which develop any of the energy influx centers of the mind/body/spirit complex. The societal and self interactions most often concentrate upon the second and third energy centers. Thus those most active in attempting to remake or alter the society are those working from feelings of being correct personally, or of having answers which will put power in a more correct configuration. This may be seen to be of a full travel from negative to positive in orientation. Either will activate these energy ray centers.

There are some few whose desires to aid society are of a green-ray nature or above. These entities, however, are few due to the understanding, may we say, of fourth ray that universal love freely given is more to be desired than principalities, or even the rearrangement of peoples or political structures.

This morning I went outside and pumped one quarter of the water out of the fish pond and then refilled it with fresh water. While the water was pumping out I cleaned the filters for the fountain and then used my trimmer to finish trimming one last area of dead, standing flowers that I forgot to do yesterday. While the pond was refilling with water I took my speed walk. I did this work this morning because this afternoon I will be going to Gary and Trish’s to share their Thanksgiving dinner. Trish is an amazing cook, and I know I will enjoy her meal without doubt. It will be Trish delicious!

As much as we all enjoy Thanksgiving, it might be well to remember that it has its roots in the taking advantage of indigenous peoples as the following article suggests:

Wampanoag. Massachusetts. Nipmuc. Mohegan. Pequot. Narragansett. Passamaquoddy. Miꞌkmaq. These are just some of the indigenous nations of the land now called New England, the home of that original Thanksgiving dinner that occurred 400 years ago, in the fall of 1621. The myth of that shared meal has evolved over the centuries, depicting friendship and cooperation between the English settlers in Plymouth, Massachusetts and the Wampanoag people who had been there for at least 10,000 years. While that gathering was peaceful, it was at best a token respite from the European settler colonists’ genocide against native peoples that was already well underway. While families gather across the country for this year’s Thanksgiving celebration, frontline indigenous communities that have survived centuries of violence, displacement and systemic racism remain in resistance, defending land, water and their very existence.

Those 100 or so early settlers, popularly referred to as “Pilgrims,” arrived on Wampanoag territory in 1620. After the first winter, wracked by disease and hunger, their number had dwindled to 54. Indigenous people came to their aid, teaching them how to cultivate local crops. By harvest time, the settlers managed to store enough food to survive the coming winter, so they organized a celebratory feast. The Wampanoag people had just suffered a multi-year plague that had decimated native populations across the region, and, historians believe, sought a strategic partnership with the settlers. English King James I was encouraging colonization, and even touted the benefits of the deadly contagion, calling it a “wonderful plague,” in a 1620 proclamation, leading “to the utter Destruction, Devastation, and Depopulation of that whole Territorye.”

That was the era that the late historian Bernard Bailyn, who died last year at the age of 97, described as “The Barbarous Years,” as the “Pilgrims” mounted increasingly savage massacres and military campaigns against those natives whose land they wanted. Later leaders would couch the ongoing genocide in more diplomatic language with colonial initiatives like “Manifest Destiny,” and the 1934 “Indian Reorganization Act,” that cemented the modern system of impoverished and neglected reservations.

The Declaration of Independence lists among its grievances against King George III his encouragement of attacks against the colonists by “merciless Indian Savages.” From 1777 through 1868, the United States signed at least 368 treaties with native nations — and violated every one. Canada’s track record is comparable. Indigenous people have never stopped demanding that these treaties, and their national sovereignty, be honored.

In the fall of 1969, a group of Native American activists occupied the abandoned federal prison on Alcatraz Island in San Francisco Bay, issuing a sarcastic manifesto demanding Alcatraz become a reservation as it bore all the hallmarks of one: it was isolated, had no running water, sanitation, access to education, healthcare or employment, and its occupants would be treated like prisoners. The 19-month occupation involved thousands of people and inspired indigenous people across North America to demand justice. The American Indian Movement was founded, leading to the 1973 activist occupation of Wounded Knee on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, galvanizing international solidarity for indigenous rights.

In 2016, indigenous resistance catapulted into global headlines as Lakota and Dakota people opposing construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline established resistance camps at Standing Rock. After DAPL’s owner, Energy Transfer Partners, sicced dogs and beat native water defenders, the camps swelled to over 10,000 people, with over 200 indigenous nations and tribes represented. The pipeline was eventually built, but a new era of native resistance had emerged.

Now, pipelines are being constructed to move the world’s dirtiest fossil fuel, tar sands petroleum in western Canada. Indigenous-led resistance to Enbridge’s Line 3 pipeline in northern Minnesota has been waged for years now. Anishinaabe leader Winona LaDuke has been on the frontlines there. She criticized President Joe Biden’s inaction on Line 3, and commented on the Democracy Now! news hour on Biden’s appointment of the first Native American cabinet member in history, Interior Secretary Deb Haaland:

“Joe, if you appoint Indian people, don’t just make them pretty Indian people that sit in your administration. Let them do their job. Indigenous thinking is what we need in the colonial administration. That’s when change happens.”

In British Columbia, Canada, the Wet’suwet’en sovereign nation has been resisting the multibillion-dollar Coastal GasLink pipeline being constructed by TC Energy. Just this week, Canadian federal police raided a multi-month blockade, smashing into a cabin with an axe and a chainsaw and arresting the land defenders inside. Police then burned the cabin to the ground.

This myth of that abundant shared meal 400 years ago continues to mask misery, from poverty and substance abuse to the epidemic of missing and murdered indigenous women. But native communities are resilient and organized, and rising up in resistance. For this, we should all give thanks.

Yesterday’s Faith

I am a particle of the love of Christ, the spirit sent forth to enliven the world which lies in darkness. I greet you in the consciousness of that love which is powerful enough to banish night.

Yesterday’s faith is not today’s, nor is hope for tomorrow a substitute for the present consciousness of redemption. If you seek to know the consciousness of love, seek in the here and now, not through memory or through desire for future good. For it is in the present moment that your darkness resides. It is the present darkness over which you have potential power, through the grace of Jesus Christ and through the love of love itself.

Know you not that seeking for light, even in a dark present, can at least crack open the gates of light? And for that slight, illumined crack of light, there is no price valuable enough to purchase so dear a thing! For only a little light, sought for and found, may illuminate all of your present darkness if you can but will it so.

Thus, do not depend upon your faith as if it were a constant thing, for, like food for the body, the nourishment of the soul, being light, must be taken daily, and, indeed, periodically within each day, that you may replenish the light within you which comes from another dimension.

“Questioner: I assume that the reason for assuming the distortions appropriate would be that these distortions would aid the entity in its reaching its ultimate objective, which is a movement along the path of evolution in the desired polarity. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct.

Questioner: Then in the case of an entity who becomes aware of its polarization with respect to service to others, it might find a paradoxical situation in the case where it was unable to fully serve because of distortions chosen to reach that understanding which it has reached. At this point it would seem that the entity who was aware of the mechanism might, through meditation, understand the necessary mental configuration for alleviating the physical distortion so that it could be of greater service to others at this particular nexus. Am I correct in this thinking?

Ra: I am Ra. You are correct although we might note that there are often complex reasons for the programming of a distorted physical complex pattern. In any case, meditation is always an aid to knowing the self.”

In the question and answer previous to these two questions and answers Ra said that some entities consciously desire healing greatly but are not healed because on some level they realize that their distorted/diseased condition allows them to pursue a certain lesson that has not yet been learned. So in this first question Don asked Ra if such an entity might benefit from meditating on its condition to learn more about what the lessons are that remain for it to learn and thusly be healed. Ra agreed but noted that very often we program very complex lessons that result in a distorted physical complex. In 83.27, Ra described how so many people on Earth are not able to grasp their pre-incarnative lessons:

Questioner: Now, in some cases it seems that this use of catalyst is almost in a runaway condition for some entities; that they are experiencing much more pain than they can make good use of as far as catalytic nature would be concerned. Could you comment on our present condition in the illusion with respect to that particular subject?

Ra: I am Ra. This shall be the last query of this working of a full length.

You may see, in some cases, an entity which, either by pre-incarnative choice or by constant reprogramming while in incarnation, has developed an esurient program of catalyst. Such an entity is quite desirous of using the catalyst and has determined, to its own satisfaction, that what you may call the large board needs to be applied to the forehead in order to obtain the attention of the self.

In these cases it may indeed seem a great waste of the catalyst of pain; and a distortion towards feeling the tragedy of so much pain may be experienced by the other-self. However, it is well to hope that the other-self is grasping that which it has gone to some trouble to offer itself; that is, the catalyst which it desires to use for the purpose of evolution.

This question and answer reminds me of so many times that people would try to heal Carla’s arthritis because they felt that a spiritual person should be physically healthy. After a while we come to learn how everything in our lives has been planned in some degree to get us where we want to go in the spiritual sense. In the following quotes Ra is speaking about Carla’s choice of arthritis being a pre-incarnative choice and our negative friends used this target of opportunity for psychic greetings:

From 67.7: At this point one of the fifth-density entities over-seeing such detuning processes determined that it would be necessary to terminate the group by what you might call magical means, as you understand ritual magic. We have previously discussed the potential for the removal of one of this group by such attack and have noted that, by far, the most vulnerable is the instrument due to its pre-incarnative physical-complex distortions.

From 68.16: The entity determines that it must needs attempt the disabling itself. By means of projection it enters the vicinity of this power source. It assesses the situation. It is bound by the First Distortion but may take advantage of any free-will distortion. The free-will, pre-incarnative distortions of the instrument with regards to the physical vehicle seem the most promising target. Any distortion away from service to others is also appropriate.

From 75.11-13: Questioner: Was the exercise of fire properly done?

Ra: I am Ra. The baton is well visualized. The conductor will learn to hear the entire score of the great music of its art.

Questioner: I assume that if this can be fully accomplished today that exercise would result in total healing of the distortions of the instrument to such an extent that operations would be unnecessary. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. No.

Questioner: What else is necessary, the instrument’s acceptance?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct, the case with this instrument being delicate, since it must totally accept much which the limitations it now experiences cause to occur involuntarily. This is a pre-incarnative choice.

Carla chose arthritis as a means of limiting her activities in the outer world and keeping her focus on the inner journey of seeking to serve the One Creator as Ra alludes to in 60.8:

Questioner: What would she do then in order to alleviate these problems?

Ra: I am Ra. As we have said, this instrument, feeling that it lacked compassion to balance wisdom, chose an incarnative experience whereby it was, of necessity, placed in situations of accepting self in the absence of other-selves’ acceptance, and the acceptance of other-self without expecting a return or energy transfer. This is not an easy program for an incarnation but was deemed proper by this entity.

This entity, therefore, must needs meditate and consciously, moment by moment, accept the self in its limitations which have been placed for the very purpose of bringing this entity to the precise tuning we are using.

Further, having learned to radiate acceptance and love without expecting return, this entity now must balance this by learning to accept the gifts of love and acceptance of others, which this instrument feels some discomfort in accepting. These two balancing workings will aid this entity in the release from the distortion called pain. The limitations are, to a great extent, fixed.

This afternoon I decided to take my trimmer all around the yard one last time to trim down all standing dead garden plants. I trimmed the ice flowers by the Flower Fall, the Astilbe in the far back yard, the various weeds on the Refuse Mound, the Iris and Black-eyed Susans on the Ruins Mound, the Hotepora in the middle of the Moss Garden, and the last of the Gladiolus by the Ruins Mound.

Trust That Within You

I am the spirit of the living God. I greet you in the full consciousness of the love of Jesus the Christ.

The difficulty which living within the physical shell of the body creates in understanding that the spiritual path is a path of plenty and light is that the outer circumstances of the path of light seem anything but comfortable.

There is truly a narrow path whereby one may maintain contact within the self with the spirit which enlivens all things. It is best not to look for evidence of the spirit’s work within men and within the world but, rather, faithfully to rest in the trust you have in that which is unseen but which has been as a beneficent wind moving across and guiding your voyage of seeking and discovery.

Those attitudes allow one to become aware of the simple joy available to one who is not limited by the definitions of self which the limitations of the body seem to impose. Accept and respect that within you which is moved by the spirit. And listen to the inner voice as to an honored guest.
