I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. The 102 quote today comes from Chapter Seven and the concept of the value of you being you, localized:

Localized

“Therefore, from the standpoint of an incarnation, the personality is very important. It is your handpicked choice of your talents, your limitations, and those relationships you hold dear, and it is designed to function well to place you in the fire of catalyst. You will recall the biblical story of the children in the middle of the fire who were not burned. [1] The fire of incarnation is just such a fire. It is not intended to consume and destroy you. It is intended to refine you; to help you with the process of removing the slag from your ore and mining the gold and precious jewels that are within you.” Q’uo, October 20, 2010

This footnote goes with this quote: [1] This reference is to the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the Book of Daniel, Chapter Three, in The Holy Bible. Refusing King Nebuchadnezzar, the three men would not bow down to another man’s God. So the King threw them into a fiery furnace. However they remained unscathed and eventually the King called them out of the furnace and promoted them. And he made a decree that protected their right to worship their God.

In the above quote Q’uo talked about our “localized” or incarnational self, our personality shell, that we utilize to attempt to learn our pre-incarnative lessons. These lessons have the purpose of helping us to learn how to open our hearts in unconditional love within this third-density illusion and make the Harvest into the fourth density of love and understanding.

Before our incarnations begin we assess our upcoming lives, often with the help of guides and our Higher Self. We determine the various people who would also play a role with us to help us along our spiritual path as we would also help them along their spiritual path at the same time. Usually these people would become members of our immediate family or circle of friends within a business, social community, or spiritual community. Our shared catalyst is designed help us to refine the nature of our soul as it is able to be expressed within the third-density illusion through our personality shell. Some of the refinements may come by way of difficult catalyst that Q’uo likened unto a refining fire. It can make us stronger, wiser, and more loving, and such difficulties that produce it can be seen as blessings in the long run of our lives. So, the personality shell is a primary tool of the Player as the Player comes to know the personality shell’s qualities and purposes for the incarnation. Then the work will be to accept the self and eventually to open the gateway to becoming the Creator.

In the following quote Q’uo went into more detail about the nature and functioning of the personality shell:

Many of those among your peoples in incarnation at this time have placed certain stoppages or limitations that will keep them from moving too far along an extreme towards an end that is not desired by the soul or spirit. An example of this is this instrument’s lifelong dynamic of frail and fragile health. This instrument carefully placed in its personality shell before incarnation a limitation that would come forward whenever this instrument chose, of her own free will, to move into a physical activity to the extent that she was unable to pursue a daily, inner, meditative and contemplative side. When this instrument has in the past developed such an aggressive and ambitious program of physical activity that it has found itself unable to feed its deeper needs in terms of contemplation and meditation, the physical body has simply broken down.

There are entities who have not placed this stoppage in their personality shell because they do not have the personality setup that this instrument created for herself before incarnation. For each entity, there will be a completely different dynamic, undoubtedly a different incarnational balance that needs to be followed and therefore a completely unique way of limiting unwanted activity within the spiritual process. Q’uo, February 6, 2006.

Q’uo began their comments on the nature of the personality shell by suggesting that before incarnation into the third density many seekers will use the personality shell to keep the incarnational behavior within certain limits so that the goals of the seeker will be more likely to be realized. Q’uo used Carla as an example by Carla’s having made the choice of desiring to focus her life pattern on the inner work of meditation and contemplation as her life goal. When she would choose to become more physically active in a manner which threatened to remove this inner focus, her body would respond with pain in various areas due to Carla’s choice of rheumatoid arthritis as the limiting factor for her personality shell.

Q’uo continued to describe the nature of the personality shell for others by saying that each entity is unique in their desires for the incarnation, and each would choose a different way utilize the personality shell to achieve the goals of the incarnation. In my case, for example, I believe that I pre-incarnatively chose tinnitus, a ringing in my ears, as a means of causing me to focus more intently on the single point in meditation. The tinnitus set in by the time I was twelve years old, with plenty of time to spare before I began any type of meditation in my early twenties. The tinnitus has been helpful in that I am able to ignore it—as well as the rest of the outside world—and concentrate on the one-pointed focus. I am sure that most seekers have some kind of ailment or condition that appears difficult to deal with, and which has not yielded to healing, that could also be a means by which their personality shell would aid them in their spiritual journeys. Here Q’uo gives an overview of how this process might work for each of us as unique spiritual seekers of truth:

 
So when we gaze at the distortion of a particular personality shell, at the systems of energy blockage and bafflement which causes what seem to others as an unbalanced or distorted personality, we gaze upon distortions of distortions of distortions. We gaze upon systems of energy, all of which are distortions of the one great original Thought which is Love. To us, then, that a person is distorted in such and such a way, in the context of an incarnation, is not a bad, a wrong, or an incorrect thing. For we are aware that each entity before incarnation selects the personality shell which contains those gifts and those physical, mental, emotional and spiritual limitations which will create biases or distortions, which will then set up both the personal learning for that entity for that incarnation and the path of service or paths of service that become available to the entity during incarnation, given that various systems of distortion do indeed prove to stand the test of incarnational time.

It is not that an entity incarnates with one mission and can either fulfill it or fail to fulfill it. Rather, there is the setting up of circumstance which may provide the catalyst which was considered desirable by that spirit before incarnation. The system of distortions or biased opinions can show themselves very simply in the growing entity as preferences. Each young spirit in incarnation discovers things that it likes, things that it wishes to avoid. As the incarnation progresses there are repetitions and cycles of experience that lead the entity repeatedly to the crossroads of incarnational choice, not simply once in an incarnation but reliably and dependably again and again. Each spirit will face one or more basic incarnational questions. Q’uo, April 4, 1998.

So our personality shells contain the pre-incarnative gifts or lessons that continue to repeat during our incarnations and help us realize that we have preferences that can help us move along our spiritual path. As we learn more about these lessons, we learn more about who we really are, and we become Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning I ran a couple of errands with my first stop at AutoZone to pick up some fasteners that I will use to tie stalks of my Giant Hibiscus plants that have fallen over to a stake in the ground to keep them upright. My second stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market to pick up some food for myself. Then I stopped at Walgreen’s Drug Store to see if a prescription from my gastroenterologist had been filled yet, and I also picked up some Kleenexes and ice cream while I was there. When I got back home I used my trimmer to week the Moss Garden.

This afternoon I use my chainsaw to trim back some of the stumps of the large Lilac bushes that I cut down yesterday. I also got the grass cut just as an Arborist came by after I had made an appointment with him to see if he could make any suggestions as to how to keep the giant Sycamore in my back yard, which has some rot at the base of its trunks, from falling over. He recommended checking the two cables which are holding the three large limbs of the trunk to see if they are taut and also boring holes around the ground under the tree’s canopy and adding fertilizer to make the tree as strong as possible.

The Spirit Shakes The Pilgrim

I am the sacred principle of divine love, the spirit of the living Christ. I greet you in the name of Jesus the Christ.

This entity seeks purely and asks that the spirit of love offer to her a jewel of a thought, a crystallized concept that may enlarge her perception of the day ahead.

Yet we would rather not be the purveyor of perfect jewels which may be toyed with by the mind, fingered with those hands of thought which may soil and defile and then be put away, beautiful, crystalline and ungiving.

Nay. The spirit of divine love is a spirit which, neatly or less neatly, seizes some portion of the mind and heart of the pilgrim and shakes it hard enough to rearrange the perceptions that have perhaps been too crystallized, too complacent, and too smug, so that the universe opens up and becomes that creation of the Father which is ever being recreated, newly created and beginning the process of creation.

For the Father’s hand becomes our hand, which becomes your hand, which moves then into the world in peace yet in power, power not only to alter but to reconstruct in a more godly manner the elements of thought which lead to a world view and action taken because of the world view.

You look toward an horizon of which you yet know not. Listen, for the voice of the transforming spirit of love lies in every expected and unexpected place. As the horizon moves through your day, the untidy, exciting and disturbing spirit sheds its peace everywhere. He who has ears, let him hear.

Passive transmission of love—Gaia Meditations

I mentioned in Chapter Six that Gaia Meditations are done here each evening at 7 pm at L/L Research to aid in the healing of our Mother Earth. We invite anyone who wishes to participate with us in these Gaia Meditations to do so whenever you can. It is fine to do so at any time during the day as long as you set your intention for your meditation to be part of our Gaia Meditation.

In the question below Q’uo was asked if when we sleep and when we meditate are we helping Gaia to balance her physical and metaphysical natures to help in the birthing of fourth density for her.

“Question from F: Does our sleep and meditation also help Gaia’s balance of her physical and metaphysical aspects and perhaps help manifest fourth-density physical?

Q’uo: I am Q’uo and am aware of your query, my sister. This is an interesting query, in that the answer is both a yes and a perhaps. The yes is given to those entities who are able to use the meditative state in a more specific sense. That is, in the ability to create visualizations of various portions of Gaia that are in need of healing, and to see them with clarity for a number of what you would call your minutes. These visions, held in the conscious mind, then in the meditative state, may provide an ability for the forces of light to send to Gaia those imaged experiences of healing and wholeness that she so desperately needs.

The perhaps is given to those entities who are able to utilize their catalyst in the sense by which we just spoke in the previous query, to enhance their own process of seeking so that they are able to open their hearts more and more in the love vibration, and this vibration is that which then adds its healing energy to that of Gaia and her needs, for as you grow, so does she grow. As more and more seek the love and the light of the One Creator within their own hearts and experiences, so then is further healing offered to your Mother Earth.” Q’uo, September 15, 2018

In the first part of Q’uo’s answer they said that visualizations could be created in the conscious mind and then utilized within the meditative state to heal those areas of Mother Earth that need healing. Ra suggested that using the technique of visualization was an advanced practice of the adept. It is a type of meditation that requires that you can hold the image of the meditation within your inner field of vision for a number of minutes. Ra never specified the specific number of minutes, but it would be my guess that between five and ten minutes would be sufficient.

What I believe is occurring here, and this is my opinion only, is that such a visualization creates a thought-form that may do work in consciousness according to the intention of the visualization. There is also aid from “forces of light”, as they may be called, that energize your visualization for the purpose you created it. If you see an area of the planet that is suffering from devastating storms, or drought, or hunger or any type of malady, you can create a visualization that sends love, light, and healing energies to that location. Then energies will be set in motion to bring that visualization to life. There will be some degree of alleviation of the difficulty as a result of your visualization. Ra suggested a similar process in 74.12:

 There are sound vibratory complexes which act much like the dialing of your telephone. When they are appropriately vibrated with accompanying will and concentration, it is as though many upon your metaphysical or inner planes received a telephone call. This call they answer by their attention to your working.

In the second part of Q’uo’s answer they mentioned that there was another means by which seekers of truth could aid in healing Gaia. This would be by their personal processing of catalyst on a daily basis which would not only heal the seeker but would also have a healing effect for Mother Earth. This type of healing would see our efforts to use our daily catalyst as the process of generating love for ourselves and others in response to having experienced any catalyst that we shared with them. This is the basic process of balancing of catalyst that Ra gave us, and Q’uo suggested that we go further than feeling the love for ourselves and others by extending it to Mother Earth in healing any portion of her body that was in need of such. Both of these techniques are assisted by the “forces of light” that are everywhere present and are willing to use our visualizations and balancing procedures as healing energies for the purposes we have chosen. However, Q’uo did not mention that our sleep would be of any help in healing Mother Earth, and I am doubtful that it would since we would need to set a conscious intention for any healing to be effective.

Ra also had more information to share regarding the healing of Mother Earth:

“26.30 Questioner: And then, can you describe the mechanism of the planetary healing?

Ra: I am Ra. Healing is a process of acceptance, forgiveness, and, if possible, restitution. The restitution not being available in time/space, there are many among your peoples now attempting restitution while in the physical.

26.31 Questioner: How do these people attempt this restitution in the physical?

Ra: I am Ra. These attempt feelings of love towards the planetary sphere, and comfort and healing of the scars, and the imbalances of these actions.”

Ra suggested that the first part of the planetary healing process involved acceptance. I take this to mean that each of us who lives upon Gaia must take some degree of responsibility for the various degradations that have accumulated over thousands of years of human disharmony towards each other and, therefore, Gaia as well whether we were directly involved in this disharmony or not. We are all Gaia’s children in a potential social memory complex and are one with the populations of all times. So we accept the responsibility for the harm done to Gaia by our brothers and sisters of other times and incarnations.

The second part of Ra’s recommendation was to seek forgiveness from Gaia for the harm that we have caused her. Gaia is an immensely loving and compassionate being that is only too happy to forgive our misdeeds if we but ask her to. We must also forgive ourselves and all other selves in order to stop the wheel of karma which has turned throughout all previous times on Earth. This process of forgiveness also allows our hearts to open in unconditional love so that a metaphysical restitution is achieved that heals the scars of previous actions. This type of interaction with Gaia is referred to in Q’uo’s description of our relationship to Gaia:

You are also correct in positing that there is, within the very energy of your body and not simply the body itself, its blood and bones, an essence of Gaia, an essence of Earth, for just as Gaia has given you the water and the chemicals to form a physical body, just so has the energy that comes infinitely from the one infinite Creator moved first to the very center of the womb of the Earth and only thence into your energy body.

Thusly, you are through and through, physically and energetically, a creature of Earth, and as such, my brother, you are part of the dance of all that is upon the Earth and in the air and in the waters beneath the Earth.

To ground yourself in this awareness, it is well to spend time in the wild places so that you may give your system time to decompress from the hurly-burly of urban life and move once again into heightened awareness of the rhythms of the natural world. Q’uo, January 7, 2009.

This morning the skies opened up and three quarters of an inch of rain fell in all of my gardens, and I enjoyed watching it fall from time to time. In between showers I ran some errands with the first stop being at The Home Depot to buy some deer repellent and some spray that I will use to keep the brown mold off my perennial giant hibiscus which stopped the blooming in the middle of the summer last year. Then I stopped in at Feeder’s Supply to buy some kitty litter and some bird seed.

This afternoon, I used  my trimmer to trim weeds out of the flower beds all around my house.

Be Glad For Imperfection

Greetings. I am the blessed principle of the truth and peace of the consciousness of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the love of Christ.

It may seem to you that you are not getting very far, very fast, along your spiritual path. You may be upset at the lack of symmetry in the arrangement of your daily life, feeling that it is not in conformation with your desires.

And yet with imperfection comes a kind of opening of the spirit to the challenges of the mind. Would you have your outer life so smooth, seamless and perfect that there is in it no room for revelation of self-consciousness? Be glad for the imperfection that keeps your minds busy.

Strengthening our response to the principles of individual liberty

Your third-density Earth experience could be said to be of a certain nature or kind. Basic to that nature is duality. Your Illusion is rich and redundant in its dualities and opposites. This two-sideness is the result of the very kind of illusion which has been prepared for you. It was prepared thusly for a purpose. That purpose is the using of individual free will to make choices concerning how each wishes to progress along the lines of spiritual evolution Q’uo, November 5, 1995.

Q’uo described our incarnative experiences on Earth as having the nature of duality and opposites, one after another. This is not a random occurrence but has been planned for each of us to be able to exercise our free will choices, our basic nature as having individual liberty in expressing ourselves in thoughts, words, and actions as we travel our spiritual journeys. In the third density we have the basic choice of service to others or service to self as the path we shall take to make the harvest into the fourth density of love and understanding as well as continuing on this path through the fifth density and until the mid-sixth density where the concept of polarization of consciousness is no longer used as a means of fueling our spiritual journeys into union with the One Infinite Creator. In the following quote Q’uo elaborates how we may utilize our free will in the seeking of unity with the Creator.

“The human will, the individual will, is very powerful. Each of you is a magical entity, an entity capable potentially of creating changes in your own consciousness by thought. It is seductive and tempting to use one’s individual will, pushing against perceived reality, for a desired goal. It is easy to think that one is doing one’s part by willing that this perceived responsibility be completed or that service be rendered. And all of those energies are excellent. The expressing of one’s desires and the setting of one’s intentions are ways of experiencing the self as powerful. And this is a helpful experience.

Yet the most powerful choice, in our humble opinion, for any entity is the choice of doing the will of that agent which created all that there is and which is aware of all of those elements which shall constitute the balance point in any situation. It takes courage, in fact, to turn over the will to the infinite One, for the outcome is unknown. Those personal desires which one has may or may not be part of that balance and rhythm of the dance that is appropriate. There is the element of perceived sacrifice. We cannot even say that such decisions create peace within the self, for the Creator’s choices do not come with explanations.” Q’uo, January 22, 2011

In the first part of the above quote, Q’uo affirmed the rightness of each person to exercise their free will to accomplish certain goals and offer services. I believe that it is also helpful to utilize the concept of faith that our intentions to serve others is the path that we wish to follow all of our lives. This is what makes us magical beings who are able to enhance our consciousness by the choices that we make. The magic comes from our continuing choice to be of service to others. This increases our polarity and changes our consciousness in a way that allows more of the love and light of the Creator to shine through us, and we become transformed again and again into more conscious seekers of truth.

In the second part of Q’uo’s quote Q’uo described an even higher realm of exercising our personal choices and liberty: to give over our free will to the will of the One Creator of us all. Q’uo suggested that this is a courageous act because the outcome of it is unknown. Because we have the liberty and the free will to do anything we wish, this choice to give over our free will to the will of the One Creator could be seen as a sacrifice of other choices that we could make.

However, Q’uo also said that this free will choice to do the will of the Creator can be accomplished when we use our catalyst to give love no matter what we get in return and to give praise and thanksgiving for all of our blessings:

Thus, we suggest that you work towards that fundamental choice: to do the will of the Creator, your greater self, which you and your greater self have arranged for you. This day and every day a life in faith is a life that glows from within. We cannot protect you, and we do not wish to protect you from the catalyst of your environment. It is intended to be challenging. It is intended to force you to make choices. Knowing what those choices are all about should aid each, and, as always, at any moment that you have leisure, move in consciousness to praise and thanksgiving for your consciousness, for those whom you love, for all the good that is within your life and for all that awaits you in that larger life of your imperishable soul.

You must refrain from seeing the self as victim, and, instead, see the self as student, student of life itself. This illusion was designed for you to study the laws of love and to become one who is radiant and has chosen to give love regardless of what it gets in return. This is your environment. The actions that you take within it are totally of your own free will, but if you have the faith and the will to know deep within yourself that these things that occur that are difficult are truly challenges to the spirit, then it is easier to do the work in consciousness that needs to be done. It is easier to recover a feeling of thanksgiving, a feeling of praise. It becomes easier to realize how incredibly blessed each is that each is experiencing and has consciousness. Once again we need to have the faith that such a choice is the best choice that we can make—and reflects our heart’s deepest desire to let the will of the Creator flow through us so that our thoughts and actions become a river of unconditional love flowing through us at all times. In this way we become Players on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life, and our lives become a continuous prayer to serve the One who is in all.

This morning I went outside and used the watering wand to water all my shrubs that I have planted this spring so that they may continue to do well even in this dry spell.

This afternoon I sprayed my Perennial Giant Hibiscuses with Garden Safe Spray because I had seen some bugs on various plants. Then I used my chain saw to complete the cutting down of the large Lilac bushes in the back yard which have not bloomed in a few years now so that the smaller Lilac bushes growing below them might be able to bloom. I used this process a few years ago on the Lilac bushes that were growing outside of the living room, and it worked then, and I am hoping that it will work again.

The Consciousness Of Love

I am the Holy Spirit to which this child prays; that principle of love which greets you in the name of Jesus the Christ.

We of the principle of the consciousness known as love are many, for there are many perceptions of love and each vibration requires its own Comforter. And so we speak in many tongues, whether it be in language or in emotions.

Indeed, the consciousness of love is a feeling more than a word, since feelings are pictures brought forth from deep places, their complex bouquet undisturbed by the prying fingers of small words.

May that principle which you seek and which you offer be all in all to you as you extend your legs in running the race of life experience during this day. May you turn not to the small and petty concerns which are so easily spelled out in words to the exclusion of the glorious remembrance of love.

Proactive thinking—heading things off at the pass before they become problems

“You see, without the bridge to eternity each entity is stuck fast in the mire of time and space. Things will go on and on, a road that never ends. This is an unreal picture of reality, but a true picture of the illusion in which you find yourself at this time. The key to forming a personal mythology, then, is to discover that which you may have faith in; that is, not belief, but simple faith. It often works best, for those who are new to the concept of being, to act as though one had faith in a kindly Creator and a redeeming Creator, and therefore to be able to forgive yourself and others simply by the strength of your faith. It is not faith in anything or anyone, perhaps, but merely a faith in the general kindliness of the one infinite Creator and of your own preference to serve others, to polarize towards the positive rather than to serve the self and control others, to move along a negative path.” Q’uo, April 30, 1989

Q’uo suggested that if we wish to keep from being “stuck fast in the mire of time and space”that we proactively set about choosing a personal mythology that has meaning for us. Each of us is free to live our lives in whatever manner we feel most reflects our deepest beliefs and highest dreams. Q’uo suggested that there are two important qualities of this personal mythology which are forgiveness and faith. The ability to forgive others and ourselves for missteps is important because as Ra said, “In forgiveness lies the stoppage of the wheel of action.” (17.20) Forgiveness removes a heavy burden from our shoulders and frees up our energy body to function more effectively.

The other vital ingredient in this process is the strength of our faith that all is well and that all will be well. That is the key. We simply need to have faith. Faith in a “kindly Creator”. Faith that we can polarize our consciousness in service to others to the extent that we make the Harvest to the fourth density of love and understanding and move one giant step forward into unity with the One Infinite Creator.

Here Q’uo expanded on the concept of how we can take proactive steps on our spiritual journey in using catalyst that will move us further along our becoming the One Infinite Creator:

Many things in everyone’s life begin to hold that kind of ability to change the tone or the vibration of the moment simply by being seen, heard, smelled or some such sensual cue.

In this archetypal journey, the self is splayed, shall we say, like all of the colors of the rainbow, across the various types of energy that are experienced within the energy body and the various types of expenditures of energy that result from that which is taken into the energy body.

Your incarnation is in a classroom or a school that this instrument has called a “refinery of souls.” You are looking, during your incarnational experience, to create for yourself a personal reality that seems to you to be an improvement in terms of service to others, and other ideals that you may have, from how you were vibrating and, shall we say, who you were or who you saw yourself to be when you first awakened to your desire to move forward on the road of seeking to take some proactive part in attempting to encourage yourself, now that you have awakened, to wake up even further.

You do this by receiving catalyst and then by choosing how you shall respond to this catalyst. This is where catalyst comes into this archetypal journey of every soul that seeks to return to the one infinite Creator and to become aware of who he is and why he is here. Catalyst, therefore, has an archetypal and sacred place in the scheme of this school. You may see each time that you are overly disturbed by an event or a thought as being a time of receiving catalyst. Q’uo, April 22, 2007.

Once again Q’uo provides us with another means of proactively taking steps that will allow us to become aware of the love of the infinite Creator:

That which is proactive, not responsive but creative with regard to another self is often that service which you may best offer that particular other self. We speak always about love. Our message continues to be simple, to the point of confounding the wise. We ask you to open to the love of the infinite Creator; we ask you to become aware of the presence of this love as the center of the life; we ask you that you work towards creating within the self a channel for that infinite love so that this highest truth may be attested to by the solid witness of your being. It is the goal of every conscious seeker of truth to move through each density of creation and become more and more the one infinite Creator, that which each has been since before time began. In this third-density illusion it is most helpful to take whatever proactive steps that are necessary to make this journey more richly rewarding in Self-realization. This is the work of the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of Life.

This morning I used my sprinklers once again to water my flower beds since it has been over two weeks since we have gotten any rain. From 10 to noon I was on our book club study group with Glaeshia, Liz, and Fox, and we had a great time studying The Ra Contact and Living Buddha, Living Christ by Thich Nhat Hanh. We also spent a goodly while catching up with what is happening in each other’s lives as it has been over a month since we have gotten together.

This afternoon Gary, Austin, and Trish came over to finish the cleanup after our Homecoming Gathering last weekend. When that was done we gathered in the living room to talk about our summer plans.

Experience The Heaven Within

I am of the light and my spirit lies within all. And love abounds in every portion of creation.

Let not appearances make you feel betrayed by the Creator, but make this your prayer, “Heavenly Father, grant us grace this day to know and to do Thy will with single-heartedness, joy and faith,” never doubting that the spirit of unconditional love, as promised, remains with each seeker until the end of the age, until the end of creation. And yet even then we shall continue to be the spirit of the infinite Creator as new creations emerge.

See this infinite portion of yourself that is one with us as the principle of unconditional love. And allow that vision to be your prayer today: “Heavenly Father, let me be of the principle of infinite love. Let me react to all stimuli in the love of God in Jesus the Christ.”

This is your choice, day by day. We urge you to make it each and every day, that you may experience the heaven within; the peace and the joy of knowing that you are not alone but supported in all that you do.

Open communication

“If there is the expectation, and it is not owned, if there is the prejudice and it is not owned, if it is not brought out into the open, how can the other entity do anything but respond to the feeling that lies behind the statement, which is seemingly innocent and harmless. So when there is a blockage that is inexplicable, it does not have to do with vocabulary or amount of information given. Then it is that one begins anew at another level of communication: a telling of the story of the self, a speaking of the legend of the moment. “This is what I have created. Respect this, but tell me what you have created, and I shall respect that.” And from this exchange, all differences in perception may be communicated back and forth, back and forth, until the two creations have a consensus reality, special to those two entities at that moment in the combined myth of two entities upon a journey of seeking together, thus unifying what was broken, and healing that which was sore and painful.” Q’uo, April 5, 1992

Q’uo said that oftentimes communication is difficult because one or both of the parties in the communication have a “prejudice” or a “blockage” in their communications that they are not aware of or are not admitting. It is so easy to have such hindrances to clear communication secreted away in our unconscious minds as remnants of disharmonies and disconnections with our emotions from our early years as children. So Q’uo suggested that to have open or free communication between two people it is necessary to begin at a new level of communication where each person takes responsibility for what they are hearing as being a creation of their own making.

 In such a responsible way of communicating a phrase may be used such as: “This is what I have created. Respect this, but tell me what you have created, and I shall respect that.” This type of communication becomes a “a journey of seeking together” which eventually can come to a “consensus reality,”by moving beyond what was the “blockage” or “myth” and being able to “heal that which was broken or painful.”

This type of communication moves below the usual surface thoughts and feelings to areas of our conscious and subconscious minds where our core beliefs may be found. These core beliefs are the guiding forces that we may or may not always be aware of. If we can get to this level of our being our communication will become more authentic and powerful. Then we really have a chance of achieving true communication, actually coming into union with another being. It may take some work within ourselves and then with others in order to clarify and harmonize our communication, but it is well worth the effort. In the next quote Q’uo adds some more depth to open communication.

 Your creation is yours alone. In a way, all is one; but in the way of learning and teaching, each entity has its own creation. Each who sits in this circle has its own creation and the rules, the study, the progress, the evolution of each of you is unique. You cannot transfer truth, wisdom and perfection as perceived by one person, whole and complete, to another entity. One can only move up from one’s essence to the level of words, to that level which is so shallow and frustrating and, by open communication, share those gifts which have been yours to receive without any attachment as to whether any other soul appreciates or responds to that same information. Q’uo, November 13, 2003

Every person in the infinite creation is a unique being. Even though we have so much in common with each other Q’uo reminds us that at the depths of our being we are each perceiving and experiencing our truths in thoughts that are actually too deep for words to convey. So when we engage in open communication with each other, the best we can do is to share ourselves as honestly and authentically as possible without any dedication to being actually understood. I think that might well be the truest definition of communication: we are constantly coming into unity with each other, but it is a journey that may never be complete. I would also like to add that totally clear communication of our thoughts and our nature may also be the result of our not perfectly being able to perceive and express them. A great deal of our spiritual journeys revolves in being able to know who we are, and there are many layers to the true nature of our being. Our spiritual journeys are a process and a constant experience of self-discovery. Q’uo shared some inspiring words regarding how self-discovery is a primary part of our spiritual journey:

You, my friends, are as those who search through days and nights, through clarity and haze, through clichés and misunderstanding, looking restlessly for the inspiration that will be food for your true self. How diversely you look. Were you capable of travel, your desire is such you would seek the Earth over and you would have many strange experiences, and yet we say to you, you have many and strange experiences. It is your discriminatory power which will point the heart of your experiences out to you and make you realize the incredible adventure of experiencing the illusion which you experience. The greatest adventure lies in the microscopic interplay of synaptic connections which lies within the confines of the consciousness and that electrically powered organism which houses it. The adventure of interpretation, discrimination, understanding and self-discovery is such that your greatest explorer could not discover any territory so vast and so uncharted. Took you ship and sailed the globe around you could not go as far as you can go in meditation and in self-discovery.

My friends, you are not creatures of your body. You are not bound by time or space. Your birthright is that which you have called Christ-consciousness. You are love. The one known as Jesus said, “I am the way.” This consciousness is a path, a path so exciting, so all-encompassing, and so attractive that all those upon your planet will eventually find it, it and no other, for it is the path of truth, of life, of love. The universe, my friends, is one thing. It is within you, both to find that one thing and to be that one thing. We ask your permission to coax you into the consideration at all times, in all decisions, in all situations, of the dimensions of meditation and of seeking. Surely it is well to set aside the time, as you call it, for this marvelous exercise of the joyousness of silence, for this tremendous opportunity to listen to that which has so long been lost among your peoples. Such a path of self-discovery is one which shows us the universe is within us and is available through meditation and reveals our true selves to us so that we can then engage in authentic and open communications. This is certainly the work of the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of life.

This morning I pruned my three Mother-in-Law Tongue house plants of their weaker and somewhat wilted leaf stalks. Then I went into the back yard and used my tree saw to begin to cut down the large Lilac Bushes that have not produced any blooms for the last few years. There are many small Lilac Bushes there that I am hoping will now have a chance to produce blooms. I filled one garbage can with the first cuttings. Then I took a trip to Paul’s Fruit Market to buy some food.

This afternoon I sewed a patch onto the corner of my bed where Bosco jumps up and grabs it with his claws and, over the last few months, has torn the bed spread and pulled much of the stuffing out from the quilted layers of the bed spread. Then I went back outside and cut another garbage can full of the large Lilacs next to the Moss Garden in the back yard.

Compassion Replaces Offense

I am of the spirit of the love of Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of perfect love.

It is said that compassion blots out all offenses. Yet what your peoples feel most often is not compassion but guilt and anger. For you judge yourselves and others most harshly.

Compassion has little or nothing to do with offense. Rather it calls forth a higher reality, a more imposing presence, not overcoming mistakes and errors but simply offering a larger viewpoint.

Thus it is that compassion replaces offense, forgives offense, and sees offense for what it is: that which is perceived by man. Yet who can say what is perceived by the Creator? Allow the spirit of the living Christ to form compassion within your hearts and minds, not judging and not believing in a great paper towel that somehow wipes up the sin.

Know that there is a saner, more balanced, and more compassionate level of mind which brings mind and heart together in the compassionate love of Christ, which sees the true beauty and perfection of souls who feel they may have made mistakes.

We leave you in that higher reality of the peace which proceeds therefrom. We leave you in the kingdom of heaven, now and forever. Amen.

On another level—Gaia Meditations

The entity which you call Earth, or Gaia, is one which is in the process of its own evolution as is each entity upon it. The Earth entity at this time, realizing that it is preparing to move into a more intense portion of the birthing of a new Earth is, as we have mentioned previously, particularly vulnerable as is any woman who is about to give birth to new life. The experience of many thousands of years of difficulties between the populations of this planet has caused the entity of Earth to be, shall we say, infected with a great deal of anger and hostility, the vibrations of the bellicose actions of your peoples over a great portion of your time. This heat of anger has caused the entity of Earth to release the excess heat in various places in various manners. Those geophysical eruptions of your volcanoes, the earthquakes, and so forth have been able to release some of this buildup of heat so that the mantle of the Earth, in some places, is rearranged in a fashion which causes a great deal of physical destruction. Yet the alignment possible after such rearrangements is that which welcomes the newer vibrations of love and compassion which are now moving more fully into expression within some portions of, not only the Earth entity, but large portions of the Earth’s populations. Thus the entity of Earth has begun to vibrate more fully in harmony with both the newer vibrations of love and compassion and those of the population of this planet which has also sought to harmonize with these vibrations as well. Thus there is, within the Earth entity, a feeling of excitement at this opportunity, of distress at the difficulty of the birth, of compassion for those who suffer, and a kind of maternal disapproval of those who yet linger in the ways of war. Q’uo suggested that Gaia, our Mother Earth, is about to give birth to a new version of Herself now that we are at the end of the 75,000 year cycle of third density. Apparently, this birth process is one which puts Gaia in some difficult vibrations as the thousands of years of war and hostility upon Mother Earth has actually infected her beingness as she goes through Her birth process. The most devasting of these wars go all the way back 11,000 years ago and the destruction of Atlantis to the modern day WW II where nuclear bombs were used by the United States against Nagasaki and Hiroshima in Japan.

There have also been countless other wars throughout recorded history that have caused a buildup of heat within Gaia that must be released in order for Her to be able to welcome the new vibrations of love and understanding of the fourth density. This heat must be released in the form of what we experience as earthquakes and volcanoes which can be very destructive to the crust or mantle of the Earth. However, as these releases of the heat of the anger of Gaia’s population are completed there is an increasing ability of the new fourth-density vibrations of love and compassion to be assimilated both by Gaia and some of her population of third-density beings. This is certainly a difficult situation for all concerned but is necessary in order to make the transition to the fourth density of love and understanding.

I found an article in yesterday’s Louisville Courier Journal newspaper (June 2, 2023) that was titled “Study finds Earth is ‘really quite sick.’ This is what the article said:

“The study by the international scientist group Earth Commission published in Wednesday’s journal Nature looks at climate, air pollution, phosphorus and nitrogen contamination of water from fertilizer overuse, groundwater supplies, fresh surface water, the unbuilt natural environment and the overall natural and human-built environment. Only air pollution wasn’t quite at the danger point globally.

The study found “hotspots” of problem areas throughout Eastern Europe, South Asia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, parts of Africa and much of Brazil, Mexico, China and some of the U.S. West—much of it from climate change. About two-thirds of Earth doesn’t meet the criteria for freshwater safety, scientists said as an example.

If planet Earth just got an annual check-up, similar to a person’s physical, “our doctor would say that the Earth is really quite sick right now and it is sick in terms of many different areas or systems and this sickness is also affecting the people living on Earth,” Earth Commission co-chair Joyeeta Gupta, a professor of environment at the University of Amsterdam, said at a press conference.

It’s not a terminal diagnosis. The planet can recover if changes are made, including the use of coal, oil and natural gas and the ways that the land and water are used, the scientists said.

But “we are moving in the wrong direction on basically all of these,” said study lead author Johan Rockstrom, director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research in Germany.

Rockstrom and other scientists have attempted in the past this type of holistic measuring of Earth’s various interlocking ecosystems. The big difference in this attempt is that scientists also looked at local and regional levels and they added the element of justice.

The justice part includes fairness between young and old generations, different nations and even different species. Frequently, it applies to conditions that harm people more than the planet.

An example of that is climate change.

The report uses the same boundary of 2.7 degrees Fahrenheit of warming since pre-industrial times that international leaders agree upon in the 2015 Paris climate agreement. The world has so far warmed about 2 degrees Fahrenheit, so it hasn’t crossed that safety fence, Rockstrom and Gupta said, but that doesn’t mean people aren’t being hurt.

“What we are trying to show through our paper is that event at 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit there is a huge amount of damage taking place,” Gupta said, pointing to tens of millions of people exposed to extra hot temperatures.

The planetary safety guardrail of 1.5 degrees hasn’t been breached, but the “just” boundary where people are hurt of 1 degree has been.

“Sustainability and justice are inseparable,” said Stanford environmental studies chief Chris Field, who wasn’t part of the research. He said he would want even more stringent boundaries. “Unsafe conditions do not need to cover a large fraction of Earths area to be unacceptable, especially if the unsafe conditions are concentrated in and near poor and vulnerable communities.”

Now as difficult as this all sounds Q’uo also had some words of wisdom and inspiration as to how each of us can insure the well-being of Mother Earth:

Your positively oriented entities focus upon the perceived physical damage done to the planet. However, it is very slight damage, although it looks considerable to the citizens of its surface, compared to the damage done by those who have lost their hope and therefore their ability to exist as loving creatures aware of their power.

In essence, we urge each who cares for the planet to reckon with their personal power. Far from being powerless, each entity has access to great amounts of power for weal or for woe. All good entities which wring their hands and pass the judgment upon those who do not appreciate their beautiful environment, are damaging the planet in a metaphysical sense by losing hope in the healing of the Earth sphere. What these positive entities do not realize is that the illusion is the illusion is the illusion is the illusion. It will continue to produce possibilities for catalyst. It, itself, is not in difficulty. It mirrors the lack of hope and feeling of powerlessness of positive entities in a more damaging way than all of the environmental obscenities practiced by those who are insensitive to living in harmony with nature.

And we would close this beginning message with the plea to each positive entity to realize that the environmental pollution is not nearly as serious an illness to the planetary entity of Grandmother Earth as the lack, and increasing lack, of certainty among these positive entities that all is well and all shall be well. Not in the illusion, but in the reality, relatively speaking, of the imperishable fields of consciousness that each of you is with relation to the imperishable spirit of unconditional and creative love that is the metaphysical planetary entity. It is good not to pollute the streams and forests of your planet, but this is within the illusion, and you shall come and you shall go. However, outside of illusion both the Logos of the planetary entity and of yourselves lie in potential, mated, loving, faithful and hopeful relationship. And if there is judgment in the attempts to heal the physical Earth, then the judgment harms the metaphysical entity of your planet more than the attempts to teach the love of Earth in a judgmental way could ever help. Q’uo, April 7, 1991.

Along this same line of thinking, back in August of 2001, Carla and I heard from a friend of ours who had always been able to communicate with Mother Earth. He said that She was not communicating with him anymore. He asked us if we could develop some kind of meditation to heal Gaia. That was the beginning of our evening Gaia Meditation where we attempted to send love and healing energies to Gaia. Three weeks after we began, the bombing of the World Trade Center occurred, and we have always thought this might have been why our friend had not been able to communicate with Gaia as She likely saw what was coming. Our Gaia Meditations continue to this day at 7 pm Eastern time if anyone would like to join us.

We also end each Gaia Meditation with this prayer:

In this past year I have also created a Gaia Visualization that I recorded and which Austin made available for people to listen to on the internet. It can also be read in your personal meditations as your offering to healing Mother Earth. It goes like this:

“Visualizing Mother Earth, our beloved Gaia, moving across the galactic clockface into the fourth density of love and understanding. Yet Her entire population of 8 billion souls is in disarray of hopelessness, anger, confusion, and separation. So I ask the One Infinite Creator to send Its infinite love and light energies through my violet ray chakra that I may send them out through my green-ray chakra to surround and imbue each of the 8 billion souls on Earth with this infinite love and light energy of the One Creator.

And I ask that an harmonic resonance be set up between this infinite love and light energy of the One Creator and the infinite love and light energy of the One Creator within each entity on Earth, as each entity is the One Creator. As this harmonic resonance becomes activated and more powerful, a light begins to shine within the soul of each entity on Earth revealing to it the path and purpose of the incarnation: to love and serve each other and the One Creator in all things.

As this is done more frequently and fastidiously the 8 billion souls on Earth become a planetary mind, a social memory complex and move Mother Earth more firmly and fully into the fourth density of love and understanding. May it be so. Thank you, Father.”

This morning I have moved my sprinkler around to various flower beds to water them as it has been quite a while since we have received any rain. Then I had the zoom meet with the Seattle Law of One study group hosted by Jonathan Tong. As usual, the questions were very thoughtful and unique, and I was inspired to give the best responses that I could to each one.

This afternoon I deadheaded the Peonies and Irises around the fish pond, and then I made a trip to The Home Depot to buy another sprinkler as the old one broke apart as I was moving it to a new location.

How Quickly The Moment Passes

I am the voice of Jesus Christ in the world and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

How very quickly the moment passes! How very swiftly the days run together! How soon each sunset comes upon those who dwell in sunlight! And in the end, how rapidly and suddenly does the daylight end, the night come, and the body become dust once again.

You, my children, dwell in dust, yet you are not dust.

You dwell in time, yet you are not time.

As you are the Father’s own children, may you see the preciousness of this moment, this hour, this day, this life.

Turn to the living Christ. Turn to divine love. And find each present moment stretched, enhanced and savored.

Turn, then, to the world and, with the eyes of the consciousness of love, see the world remade in love. Let your vision be carried in the brightness of the eye, in the lilt of the smile, and in the serenity of the heart, into the world this day and every day.

Property stewardship—make your property green

Our first place to focus our energy in helping Mother Earth to reflect true love and care is in our own home and on our own property, where we live and spend the great majority of our time. When I searched the internet for suggestions of how to do this in my home I was happy to see a number of suggestions, and I have added my own comments to them:

1. This simple suggestion would save the power necessary to heat hot water, and if more people did this the savings could be quite substantial.

• This suggestion is quite similar to the first one in that if you dried your clothes outside on a clothesline you could also save the power necessary to run the drier. However, it would require more time be spent hanging the clothes up on the clothesline and then taking them down, and most people are in a bind for time these days. It would take a very serious commitment to spend this time as a continuous way of saving power and the pollution that often comes with the creation of power.

• This suggestion could be to, for example, grow your own food rather than buying the fruits and vegetables that you could grow in your own garden.

• I have recently begun to use LED bulbs instead of regular light bulbs as I have been told that they use less energy and actually last longer as well.

• Using a programmable thermostat is said to save about $180 per year over having a thermostat that continues to run at a certain temperature even after that temperature has been reached in the house.

•  Recycling Bin and a Compost Bin. …Most people these days do have a recycling bin since most cities recognize the value of recycling paper, plastic, cardboard, glass, and metals. But it is also a good idea to include a compost bin in the kitchen area to collect any food items that you could use in your garden.

• Planting herbs in your garden or even in little pots that you can put in the window will save having to buy them at the grocery store.

• Decorating our homes with plants helps to oxygenate the air as well as make us happy and inspire us to be more creative. Plants also create a peaceful atmosphere that is immediately apparent to anyone visiting our homes.

Q’uo had some helpful suggestions as to how to use gardening as a kind of stewardship of our property:

As you appreciate and love the Earth, as you literally put your hands in its dirt, care for it and tend to it and praise its beauty, it is as a young girl who is told she is beautiful. It feels so good to Gaia to be appreciated and to be treated gently and lovingly.

Therefore, you are of great service to the Earth as you open your heart to its beauty and its rhythm. And this too, you may teach the one known as N, for this shall be of interest to her in the future.

We might suggest that the one known as D enter the silence consciously and with intent as he works upon his gardening, letting the dirt’s call and the sound of the cricket and tree frog be the music which embellishes the sweet silence of a quiet mind, occupied hands, and an absolute attention to the beauty of the moment.

There are walls within the heart of the one known as D which this sweet ministry shall break down so that the heart may be ever more fully open and so that fear may be a thing of the past. Q’uo, September 7, 2007.

Those of Ra also had some inspiring words to say in 95.11 about gardening which could be seen as a stewardship of our property as well:

Questioner: I am assuming that the newly chosen place meets parameters for best contact on the exterior of the house and would ask Ra at this time if there is any suggestions with respect to the exterior of the house?

Ra: I am Ra. The dwelling seems surrounded with the trees and fields of your countryside. This is acceptable. We suggest the general principle of preparing each part of your environment as it best suits each in the group with the beauty which each may feel to be appropriate. There is much of blessing in the gardening and the care of surroundings, for when this is accomplished in love of the creation the second-density flowers, plants, and small animals are aware of this service and return it.

This morning I went outside and transplanted five Hosta into the area of the Wuthering Heights Mound which have had Hosta in the past but which seem to have died out for some reason. I also transplanted three Hosta in the back yard in front of the Forsythia hedge in an area which also has had Hosta die out over the last couple of years.

This afternoon I used my deer repellant spray composed of putrefied eggs to spray all of the flowers in my yard and my neighbor’s yard as well.

Local air/water/other pollution problem solving

As years have gone by and our industrialization has flourished we, as a nation, have become careless with how much pollution of our air, water, and soil has been accepted as the price of our progress. This pollution has become so rampant that it is now evident to a growing number of Americans that we can no longer ignore the damage that has been done. More and more people are standing up for Gaia, our Mother Earth, and have attempted to have laws passed concerning reducing the amount of pollution that is permissible. People are also actively involved on the local level to see what improvements they can personally make in their communities.

And this kind of a need for solving pollution problems in the world is still being created by actions today such as the decision last Thursday, May 25, 2023, by the U.S. Supreme Court that cut the protection of water provided by the Clean Water Act to a disastrous degree. The Clean Water Act of 1972 regulates the amount of pollutants that can be discharged into local rivers, lakes, and wetlands. The 5-4 ruling sided with the Sackett family in Idaho who sued the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency more than a decade ago after the agency blocked them, under provisions of the Clean Water Act, from developing their property. Here in Kentucky, according to last Tuesday’s Louisville Courier-Journal newspaper (May 30, 2023) this decision “threatens the wellbeing of the wetlands areas which have already been reduced in their size by 80% of their original area. Now advocacy groups are worried that this ruling would open the door for increased agricultural runoff, threatening drinking water supplies with chemicals like nitrates, while others said it could represent an erosion of water protections as a whole.” U.S. Senator Mitch McConnel, who is from Kentucky, celebrated the ruling as “long-awaited relief and much needed clarity for businesses and landowners.” So in the name of businesses being able to make more money, Mother Earth must pay yet another price of having her waters polluted. Q’uo speaks to this type of situation where they said:

“All around you there are those who have polluted and destroyed the Earth, and you experience this perhaps in terms that are local to you—a plant that is emitting toxic emissions. If this moves you, see what you can do in your village or your neighborhood to make a change for the better. Become compassionate stewards of Mother Earth, for Gaia is most grateful to those who help her to become more healthy.

Indeed, we especially encourage you in your stewardship of the Earth. For there is a tremendous amount of what this instrument would call “group karma” having to do with the fact that so many of those who are attempting to graduate from third density on planet Earth have, in the past, on Sirius, Deneb, Mars, Maldek or Atlantis, destroyed their environments. There is great heart-sadness amongst the entire human tribe concerning the destruction of Mother Earth. And it is very healing, in your energy patterns as a people, wherever you live, to become involved in loving and serving your beautiful, fragile island home.” Q’uo, July 31, 2007

Q’uo exhorted all of us to give our utmost effort in helping to heal our Mother Earth. So many people on Earth have not only taken part in despoiling our planet through destructive anger at all levels of society—from interpersonal relationships to military operations–but some have actually done the same on other planets within our solar system. They are on Earth now for the purpose of reversing that type of behavior while in this incarnation. The degradation of pollution is a current problem that is planet-wide with huge islands of plastic floating in various parts of our oceans with significant pollution of lakes, rivers, and ground water as well.

Your peoples for many, many generations have had the unfortunate tendency—and we say unfortunate because it is sorrowful, both to your soul and the soul of Earth itself—to see the self as the predator and the conqueror, not considering the realm as a whole or how the parts might fit together, but considering only short-term goals. “I want water here, therefore, we shall dam up the water to create water here where there was not water before.”

Does it come into the mind of the predator what that damming up of a natural resource will do to Mother Earth who had a balanced aquifer system? No, for that is not a concern to one who has separated itself from Mother Earth. Consequently, there is also a substantial list of species that have declined and become extinct because of the lack of stewardship and the ascent of predation on the part of the humans to who Mother Earth was entrusted. Q’uo, December 19, 2009.

Here Q’uo is talking about a very basic frame of mind of most people in our country who do not see the unified relationship between Mother Earth and her population of human beings and all other forms of life as well. The veil of forgetting seems to have such a thick composition for most people that it is easy to think only of the self and the self-centered needs of people to become what Q’uo called predators or conquerors of the environment in which they live rather than stewards of the environment and the various life forms that thrive within the natural environment. This type of point of view and sense of being does not have the over view of the entire system of Mother Earth and how all parts are interrelated, but sees only the short-term needs of the separated self—acknowledged through such practices of creating dams, clear-cutting large areas of forest to create locations for businesses or subdivisions, and mining coal by dynamiting the topsoil and stone enhancing flooding by rain runoff. However, there are more and more people these days who are aware of the dire consequences of such behavior and are seeking to re-establish the crucial link of the survival of all forms of life as a system of interrelated forms, each necessary for the well-being of all.

Each of us can take part in the cleaning up of our local environments, from our own yards and neighborhoods to nearby lakes and rivers. We all can do something to give love and respect to Mother Earth as a way of life. We can join with others who are of like mind to form groups to clean up our neighborhoods, rivers, beaches, walking trails, or whatever part of our communities need cleansing and healing. There are groups in every city that are dedicated to these types of concerns, and the Player on the Enhanced Game Board of life will be able to give of time, talents, and donations to help demonstrate the proper love and care for their environment.

This morning I set the sprinkler in various locations to water my gardens as it has been a while since we have gotten rain and none is in the forecast. Then I ran a series of errands with my first stop being at Walgreen’s Drug Store to get the booster Shingles vaccination, and while I was there I purchased a number of items that were on my shopping list. My second stop was at Paul’s Fruit Market to pick up some food for myself. Then I went to Kroger’s to buy some coconut water and shredded cheese. My last stop was at the vet’s to pick up some meds for Benny.

This afternoon I decided to try to solve the unusual situation where the fountain in the fish pond is only a couple of inches tall instead of a couple of feet tall as it has been until a few days ago. So I took the pump that is currently being used out of the pond and replaced it with another pump. I was thrilled to see the fountain shoot up to about two feet in height from what was previously about 4 inches in height. Then I spent about half an hour walking around the yard looking for an earring that a friend lost at last weekend’s Homecoming Gathering. Unfortunately, I didn’t find it, but I will continue to keep my eyes out for it as I do my daily work in my gardens.

Eternal Peace

I am the voice of Jesus the Christ in the world today. I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

The kittens upon this instrument’s lap bask in each other’s affection. The sounds of the neighborhood, the barking of dogs, the singing of birds, the crunch of far-away tires on gravel filter gently through the cool summer morning and all seems ecstatic, peaceful and easy.

Yet this is a peace of this experience. There is a further peace, a peace beyond understanding, the advent of which comes to one who finally perceives the eternal peace of which all the sensual descriptions are but small manifestations.

Carry this eternal peace in your thoughts, in your heart, and in your actions this day. The situations that seem not so peaceful to the world may still be blessed by your perception, founded in Christ.

The positive use of resources

In my country we have an abundance of natural resources that have allowed the population of the United States to be able to sustain itself with food, clothing, and shelter throughout the past 200 years. Having these resources and the mechanized industrial environment in which to process our many resources allowed the people of this country leisure time which now could be used to consider the meaning of their lives rather than simply how to work from sunrise to sunset to stay alive. In the following quote, Ra mentioned how the Industrial Revolution began 200 years ago and included waves of Wanderers who incarnated at that time to be of service to Earth and her population:

“ 26.13 Questioner: Did the Confederation then step up its program of helping planet Earth sometimes, some time late in this last major cycle? It seems that they did from the previous data, especially with the Industrial Revolution. Can you tell me the attitudes and reasonings behind this step up? Is there any reason other than that they just wanted to produce more leisure time in the last, say, a hundred years of the cycle? Is this the total reason?

Ra: I am Ra. This is not the total reason. Approximately two zero zero [200] of your years in the past, as you measure time, there began to be a significant amount of entities who, by seniority, were incarnating for learn/teaching purposes rather than for the lesser of the learn/teachings of those less aware of the process. This was our signal to enable communication to take place.

The wanderers which came among you began to make themselves felt at approximately this time, firstly offering ideas or thoughts containing the distortion of Free Will. This was the prerequisite for further wanderers which had information of a more specific nature to offer. The thought must precede the action.”

Ra is talking about some of our founding fathers in the above quote: Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson, among others as Ra mentioned in 26.16. They were working with the concept of free will when they wrote the Declaration of Independence that stated the basic principles upon which the United States was formed as it broke away from British rule. This Declaration of Independence made the natural resources of this country the property of this country that would eventually support its own people but also create a means of enhancing its standing in the world community of independent nations.

Although this has benefitted generations of Americans, it cannot be said to be a wholly positive beginning. After all, this land which is called the United States of America was stolen from the Native Americans and has been exploited for its resources, resulting in deforestation and pollution. This reflects the somewhat bellicose or primitive thinking of early settlers, and American state and national governments certainly demonstrated an historical irreverence for this land—an attitude that is so much at odds with Native American tradition that sees the land as part of the people and the people a part of the land. To this day the great majority of our indigenous peoples are living in a state of poverty on 300 reservations, scattered across our country, which were chosen by their white conquerors because of their geographical isolation and ease of controlling the Native Americans living there.

However, in the last few years there has been an effort to return some of the land that was stolen from Native Americans which is called the Land Back movement. The aim of the movement is to return the land to those indigenous peoples who know best how to care for the land and its resources. This Land Back movement is occurring across our country in bits and pieces. Some of the land is gifted, and some of it is sold to the tribes. Though certainly not coming anywhere close to what should be done in returning Native American land to its rightful inhabitants, at least there is an effort being made to right the wrongs of the past where every treaty made with indigenous peoples was broken. With every piece of land returned to indigenous peoples we all benefit by having the land loved and cared for in the most environmentally harmonious way instead of being polluted and depleted of the resources that all land contains. I am sure that Gaia, our Mother Earth, appreciates each step taken in this direction as we are all one with Mother Earth and her people. Here Q’uo suggests how each of us can help to heal Mother Earth:

There are those of you who wish to help Mother Earth at this time. We are not saying that you should move into the national or international sphere and attempt to change the world. We are saying that wherever you live, there are challenges for the environment and they can best be discussed and dealt with by those who are on the ground in the area, and local.

So set your sights, if you want inspiration, at ground zero for you, the center of your universe, the place that you live. And ask yourself, “What are the problems in this particular community that are trammeling Mother Earth, that are challenging her ability to survive?” ³ And then, when you have targeted a difficult road bed, a misbehaving stream of water, a dam that does not serve the greater good, or whatever it may be, my friends, if it pleases you, put your heart and your soul into action to amend for the better that particular little part of Planet Earth that needs your help. You are all stewards of it. It cannot alter what man on Earth has done by itself, without the passage of a great deal of time. You are welcome to improve the odds, and to be good stewards of Gaia. This morning I was on a zoom meet with the Soul Focus group that has racial equality of all as its main function but which also has personal spiritual journeys that incorporate the Law of One as a primary tenet of their spiritual paths. We talked about my interpretation and experiences of living the Law of One in my life. We had a great time sharing our ideas about how the Law of One might be a way out of the many divisions of thought and action that cause disharmony in our world today. I look forward to our next zoom meet.

This afternoon I planted more Hyacinth Bean seeds under the pyramid at the center of the cross area in the back yard. My germination rate for the first batch of seeds was not very good, and I am hoping that these will do better. My other work for the afternoon was to take the trimmer around the yard and trim the weeds that have grown up here and there.

Slow Down!

We are of the principle which is called the spirit of Jesus Christ and we greet you in perfect love.

How your minds are scurrying this morning! What room does the spirit have to speak when there is so much of small detail and little meaning that covers your mind like a blanket? Can the spirit of the Father and the joy of Christ enter into any cracks in this mind filled with haste and hurry, fluster and worry?

Slow down! You cannot be peaceful if you give too much importance to things that have no peace in them. Your world is not built of paper or the information upon that paper. It is built, rather, of people who move their paper and their business back and forth, forgetting to allow space for themselves to be born of the spirit and to grow in Christ.

Seek the comfort that this world’s business and hurry can never have, for the sake of Jesus Christ.

Creating a healthy world

“Questioner: And then, can you describe the mechanism of the planetary healing?

Ra: I am Ra. Healing is a process of acceptance, forgiveness, and, if possible, restitution. The restitution not being available in time/space, there are many among your peoples now attempting restitution while in the physical.

Questioner: How do these people attempt this restitution in the physical?

Ra: I am Ra. These attempt feelings of love towards the planetary sphere, and comfort and healing of the scars, and the imbalances of these actions.” Ra, 26.30-31

I believe that part of creating a healthy world would be to try to heal the distortions that humanity has wrought upon our Mother Earth through these thousands of years of war and disharmony at every level of human interactions. One way that this can be accomplished is mentioned in the quote above from those of Ra. Ra suggested there are many people on the planet today who are attempting to achieve “acceptance, forgiveness, and, if possible, restitution.” I would imagine that these people are using prayers, visualizations, and meditations to heal our Mother Earth of the injuries that we have caused her over the millennia of human existence on her surface. This is a kind of balancing action on the planetary level that seeks to pour out as much of the “feelings of love towards the planetary sphere, and comfort and healing of the scars, and the imbalances of these actions” towards Mother Earth as the disharmony that wars have created in the past.

In the following quote Q’uo gave an unexpectedly simple method of helping to heal Mother Earth.

“This instrument is concerned for the peace of the world and prays for it often, and yet if this instrument prayed for peace within itself, it would be the same prayer. Indeed, it is our humble opinion that the most efficient way to bring the world to peace is to learn peace within the self, for as you think, as you are, so your universe in toto is also, for your consciousness is as a field and each bit of fear that you are able to let drop, each time that you find your heart expanding, the consciousness of your planet is being lightened. There is no lag time between the open heart of self and service to the planet, that lightening of the consciousness of planet Earth. Q’uo, January 19, 1997

Another way that this same effort of healing Mother Earth can be accomplished is mentioned in the quote above where each of us could simply work on ourselves within the meditative state. This technique reaffirms the unity of all of the creation that we live in and the effect that we can have upon it by the very way we heal and balance ourselves in prayer, meditation, contemplation, and in our daily interactions with each other. Any healing of ourselves that we can achieve heals a portion of the planet and some portion of its entire population. Any love that we find in the moment amplifies the love for each person on our planet and for planet Earth herself. Mahatma Ghandi expressed this concept well when he said: “You must become the change you wish to see in the world.” In the following quote Q’uo reflected these thoughts beautifully:

This morning I watered my gardens again as it has been quite a while since we have had any significant rain.

Seek The Light Heart

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of that perfect love.

When souls harden their hearts by judgment they become out of balance. And if they ask for the spirit to move within them, the spirit will act as a gentler and softener, that the heart may become humble and balance be obtained in the life experience.

When, as with those to whom we speak this day, a soul has a heart over-soft and over-sensitive towards others, then it is that the heart is hardened towards the self and that same spirit of love being summoned moves into the consciousness to restore balance by enlivening and strengthening the heart to have compassion upon the self and thus to bring balance.

The spirit speaks variously to each soul with one hope and that is that each soul may come more and more into the knowledge and experience of the wholeness of perfect love. Condemn not others or the self, but seek the light heart, the merry laugh, and the strong arm of the Comforter within.

May each dwell in the freedom and peace of Jesus the Christ, now and ever. Amen.
