If the planet then were conquered and became part of the Empire, the free will would then be re-established. Hello all,
I know that most forms of communication in third density (spoken language) cannot truly share information without distortion from the original meaning. I find this to be true when reading the Ra material because I struggle at times to understand what Ra intends to mean with the choice of words. Below are some extracts from the Ra contact which I find puzzling, I hope you can clarify these for me so that some of the distortion can be removed. Thanks.

"The service available for our offering to those who call us is equivalent to the square of the distortion/need of that calling divided by, or integrated with, the basic Law of One in its distortion indicating the free will of those who are not aware of the unity of creation." - Session 7

"You must picture within all that is created. The energy is, though finite, quite large compared to the understanding/distortion by your peoples. This is an obvious point well known to your people, but little considered." - Session 3

Thanks for helping me remove some of the distortions I have about the Ra material. I don't how important the understanding of these quotes are for understanding the core of the Law of One.

RA I am Ra. We find your query indeterminate but can respond that the number of those which have mastered outer catalyst completely is quite small.

Most of those harvestable at this space/time nexus have partial control over the outer illusion and are using the outer catalyst to work upon some bias which is not yet in balance.

According Ra, as the polarity of an entity increases, the meeting point between the outer cosmic nature and the inner nature (kundalini) goes up more and more through the chakras:

31.10 Questioner: Roughly how many previous incarnations, shall we say, would a male entity in this incarnation have had to have had in the past as a female to have a highly homosexual orientation in this incarnation? Just roughly.

Ra: I am Ra. If an entity has had roughly 65% of its incarnations in the sexual/biological body complex, the opposite polarity to its present body complex, this entity is vulnerable to the aura infringement of your urban areas and may perhaps become of what you call an homosexual nature.

It is to be noted at this juncture that although it is much more difficult, it is possible in this type of association for an entity to be of great service to another in fidelity and sincere green-ray love of a nonsexual nature thus adjusting or lessening the distortions of its sexual impairment.

31.11 Questioner: Timothy Leary, doing research, wrote that at the time of puberty, and up through that time, there is an imprint occurring on the DNA coding of an entity and that, for instance, sexual biases are imprinted due to early sexual experiences or some of the first sexual experiences of the entity. Does anything like this actually happen?

Ra: I am Ra. This is partially correct. Due to the nature of solitary sexual experiences, it is in most cases unlikely that what you call masturbation has an imprinting effect upon later experiences.

This is similarly true with some of the encounters which might be seen as homosexual among those of this age group. These are often, instead, innocent exercises in curiosity.

However, it is quite accurate that the first experience in which the mind/body/spirit complex is intensely involved will indeed imprint upon the entity for that life experience a set of preferences.

I am gay myself and was confused at first about the way Ra explained it because it didn’t resonate with me. After giving it a second read though I think that Ra is basically saying people who have had 65% or more previous incarnations as the opposite gender and sexual orientation are more sensitive to aura infringement of urban areas due to the influx of energies being transferred between so many people. So for example if I lived 100% of my previous lives as a heterosexual female (without the male red ray reproductive energy) and I incarnated as a male in NYC, I would have a high chance of becoming homosexual because there are so many women around that it would (remind me of my previous sexuality) and infringe upon my aura so I wouldn’t feel the need to activate the male red ray reproductive energy. However in a rural setting with less people and women, my aura wouldn’t be infringed upon as much and I could still activate the red ray reproductive energy to seek to be of service.

I also think there’s a genetic factor that Ra didn’t mention and that’s based off of scientific studies they’ve done, especially on identical twins.

So in conclusion I think sexual orientation is a combination of (soul, environmental, and biological factors) but it isn’t something bad. It can be a helpful catalyst in helping to focus on being of service to others with green ray energy transfer (unconditional love) rather the red ray even though it is more difficult to harmonize that energy in a relationship.

Sound is a fascinating and incredible part of Creation. I would like to open this thread in all ways to discuss the sciences of sound. (Don't worry I haven't forgotten my other threads lol)

I'm going to start with a quote from the book 'Musical Acoustics: An Introduction' by Donald E. Hall.

Quote:Sound waves carry energy. The vibrating source does work upon the adjacent air molecules when it sets them in motion. The energy is passed on from neighbor to neighbor, and finally those molecules next to your eardrum push it aside; thus they do work upon it and deliver the energy to its destination in the form of vibrations of the internal structure of the ear.

The continual competition between restoring force and inertia in any harmonic oscillator can also be described as an interplay of potential and kinetic energy. As the mass moves toward the equilibrium position, the restoring force does work on it, thus increasing its kinetic energy. This energy is withdrawn from the reservoir of potential energy stored in the spring. As the mass moves beyond the equilibrium position and slows down, the restoring force is in the direction opposite to its motion. This means the restoring force does negative work on the mass, reducing its kinetic energy. Another way to say this is that now it is the mass that is doing work on the spring and delivering energy to it.

So during vibration, energy keeps shuttling back and forth between kinetic and potential forms, but the total energy remains the same. In real life, of course, this total oscillation energy may gradually decrease as friction or radiation drain it off intro heat or sound energy.

The other application of this term, which we use undifferentiatedly for lack of other term in the sense of the vast potential tapped into by foci or focuses of energy, we call intelligent energy.

Well, now that I have been allowed to return by the almighty internet devas, here is where I left off...... *DEEP BREATH*

So I have finally felt drawn to reread the whole Law of One from front to back again (yes, I knew it would happen eventually) and I've decided I'm going to share my considerations all along the way in the sessions forum (which I'll admit was my idea to create). My intention is to infuse this forum with a massive shot of "seeking energy" which follows the upwards spiraling light towards the Creator. You are all more than welcome to join me as I go through this journey, and even read along. May my cup overflow in to yours, and yours back in to mine. In this water may we find the Creator and reflected there the Light of the Divine Unity.

I am starting here with the Intro because A. I forgot to get it included in the session sections and B. it is a good way to create this invitation. Also C. there is some mindblowing foreshadowing I see here and I think it will help pique the curiosity of those who might follow along.

I am going to put out some things that really stand out to me though. The focus will vary but I tend to like to pull out things that might indicate the "inner workings" that are taking place, purely speculatively, of course. However, like Don, I have some hypotheses to examine.

For, my friends, there is much, much more of you and of the creation than you presently appreciate with your intellectual abilities in your present illusion.

When I asked what the healer was doing working in the abdominal area the interpreter relayed my request, and relayed back the information that the scanning had produced the knowledge of three cysts upon my right ovary, and the misplacement or dropping of both ovaries which had occurred through years of very active life. The pulling had been to reposition the ovaries so that I would not be in discomfort during menstruation. The removal of the cysts had had the same purpose.

Having been through all too many seances and not having a great deal of personal commitment to the type of communication that one was likely to get from one’s physically dead relatives, I was at first reluctant to attempt such “mediumship.” However, these were my good friends and I could not say no. Tom, Don, and Elaine’s and Tom’s son, Mike, gathered with me for the first attempt. After some moments of consciously offering myself for the contact with Elaine, I became unaware of the passing of time, and when I awakened Tom had what sounded like Elaine’s voice on tape speaking through me. That was my first experience with trance. I did not know, and to this day do not know, how it occurred. Tom asked once more if I would do this and again I went into what seemed to be a very deep trance, remembering nothing and hearing what sounded like Elaine’s voice on tape after the session. Don stated that if he had heard me from the next room without seeing me he would have been certain it was Elaine.

Tom agreed, saying that he had what Elaine had promised and was satisfied. However only a few days later, while working with an advanced meditation student, Leonard Cecil, I received a new contact, one which I had never had before. I pose the titular query partially in response to the wee meme I see now again where people seem to fetishize a Love/Light dichotomy between Carla Rueckert (CR) and Donald Elkins (DE).  And yet I see no fan club in the works for Jim McCarty--not that I think there should be one--but I'm guessing most people just don't get the point of Jim McCarty.  And yet, if they did understand him better, they might read the Ra Material and the surrounding narrative a tiny bit differently.

Now, please, dear reader, get this much straight at the beginning: Jim McCarty is a complex individual and this thread does not intend in any way to discuss his private thoughts, his private life or God knows what else he's into.  This is intended to be a discussion of symbols, not real people.  And this brings me nicely to my next point.

When I read people going on about how DE represents rational thinking and science or CR represents love and feeling, this can feel sooooo cartoonish. I sometimes think I'm a child again watching a Scooby-Doo episode where there's the tall, dark, brooding, mysterious genius character and the short, beaming, embracing, chorister librarian character.  But what's with the gardener guy who has no super powers?  Is he just the maintenance man, a supporting character needed to move the plot along?  In the real LLR story, is he merely playing a supporting role as scribe while the two stars, the Instrument and the Questioner, do all the important work?

Well, here's my obnoxiously outspoken view on this.  I think that what most everyone cannot see is that Jim McCarty symbolizes the synthesis and the balancing of the Love and the Light, something which exceeded the grasp (symbolically speaking) of his two fellow characters.  Correlative to this, I would aver that this tidbit of insight is drastically under appreciated because most of us identify primarily with one end of the see-saw or the other, but not with the fulcrum.  Jim lives at the fulcrum.

I don't think it's possible to argue this point, so you can just accept it or reject it as you wish, but I can describe it a little bit.  If you listen to the LLR podcast, Jim is as much a disembodied talking head as the rest of them.  And yet, from what's public about his intimate relationship with (CR), he clearly also has a bias towards love and service.

I've met Jim a couple of times at the Homecoming events. and initially this involved transporting me--and others--from our hotel to the event site.  He was polite and glad to help. and also glad to get that chore over with so that he could do other things.  This struck me as being well balanced.

Another interesting aspect about him is that he never joins the group when we go out to eat supper at local restaurants.  Instead, he stays home and meditates, and he can not understand why everyone else doesn't do the same.  After all, there's no better game in town than meditation. Now, this might have you wondering, "You call that being balanced?"  But think about it.  Which is the greater service, sitting near someone while you eat your meal or meditating upon the sublimity of existence?  Some would say that the true, more balanced answer is the latter.

Well, this is my understanding of this matter, and I ask you not to disagree with me and burst my bubble, or I might cry.  Or, maybe I should just go meditate like Jim McCarty?
