this particular session offers some intriguing insights into the nature of catalyst, and especially the case of self imposed illness/disease to 'force' one to get back on the straight and narrow.

as always, there is no 'victim here'; FDR had chosen a particular plan before incarnating, and when his free-will/circumstance led him to stray into the 'forceful use of power', his Higher Self stepped in, and said 'hey, that's not why you came here. We need to get back on track'. In this case, a lesson forcefully applied, but with the consent of the Self at some level (albeit, not the conscious one).

I was making a list that I thought we might use to hit the high points on the workings of the catalysts on these individuals starting with the one we know as Franklin D. Roosevelt. Could you say something about that entity?

Ra: I am Ra. It is to be noted that in discussing those who are well-known among your peoples there is the possibility that information may be seen to be specific to one entity whereas in actuality the great design of experience is much the same for each entity. It is with this in mind that we would discuss the experiential forces which offered catalyst to an individual.

(this hearkens back to the tarot, in that we all have the same basic lessons to learn. Also, the mechanisms or catalysts for that learning fall into regular patterns. Ra is saying here - study this example, and see how it might have applied in your own life sometime.)

It is further to be noted that in the case of those entities lately incarnate much distortion may have taken place in regard to misinformation and misinterpretation of an entity’s thoughts or behaviors.

We shall now proceed to, shall we say, speak of the basic parameters of the one known as Franklin. When any entity comes into third-density incarnation, each of its energy centers is potentiated but must be activated by the self using experience.

The one known as Franklin developed very quickly up through red, orange, yellow, and green and began to work in the blue ray energy center at a tender age, as you would say. This rapid growth was due, firstly, to previous achievements in the activation of the rays, secondly, to the relative comfort and leisure of its early existence, thirdly, due to the strong desire upon the part of the entity to progress. This entity mated with an entity whose blue ray vibrations were of a strength more than equal to its own thus acquiring catalyst for further growth in that area that was to persist throughout the incarnation.

(so FDR was working with blue ray at a 'tender age'. Can we surmise around the ages of 10-12? also the fact that he had leisure to study, and probably had many varied tutors offered this individual much varied experience and opportunities for learning. Such it is to be wealthy )

This entity had some difficulty with continued green ray activity due to the excessive energy which was put into the activities regarding other-selves in the distortion towards acquiring power. This was to have its toll upon the physical vehicle, as you may call it. The limitation of the nonmovement of a portion of the physical vehicle opened once again, for this entity, the opportunity for concentration upon the more, shall we say, universal or idealistic aspects of power; that is, the nonabusive use of power. Thus at the outset of a bellicose action this entity had lost some positive polarity due to excessive use of the orange and yellow ray energies at the expense of green and blue ray energies, then had regained the polarity due to the catalytic effects of a painful limitation upon the physical complex.

(here Ra tells us the ultimate causation of the polio. It was the excessive use of orange and yellow ray, at the expense of green and blue. One can see this is the application of physical force, rather than opening the heart and applying wisdom and understanding; a more diplomatic way of addressing problems. Might is right is the basic problem here. And if you have might, it is an easy go to option)


This entity was not of a bellicose nature but rather during the conflict continued to vibrate in green ray working with the blue ray energies. The entity who was the one known as Franklin’s teacher also functioned greatly during this period as blue ray activator, not only for its mate but also in a more universal expression. This entity polarized continuously in a positive fashion in the universal sense while, in a less universal sense, developing a pattern of what may be called karma; this karma having to do with inharmonious relationship distortions with the mate/teacher.

35.2 Questioner: Two things I would like to clear up. First, then Franklin’s teacher was his wife? Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is partially correct. The basic guidelines for the lessons and purposes of incarnation had been carefully set forth before incarnation by the mind/body/spirit complex totality. If the one known as Franklin had avoided the excessive enjoyment of or attachment to the competitiveness which may be seen to be inherent in the processes of its occupation, this entity would not have had the limitation.

However, the desire to serve and to grow was strong in this programming and when the opportunities began to cease due to these distortions towards love of power the entity’s limiting factor was activated.

It is unfortunate, shall we say, that like many Wanderers the vibratory distortions of third-density illusion caused this entity to become extremely distorted in its perceptions of its fellow mind/body/spirit complexes so that its mission was hindered and in the result, perverted from its purposes.

11.26 Questioner: How was Tesla’s work supposed to benefit man on Earth, and what were its purposes?

Ra: I am Ra. The most desired purpose of the mind/body/spirit complex, Nikola, was the freeing of all planetary entities from the darkness. Thus, it attempted to give to the planet the infinite energy of the planetary sphere for use in lighting and power.

Ra: I am Ra. The product of such a freeing would create two experiences.

Firstly, the experience of no need to find the necessary emolument for payment, in your money, for energy.

Secondly, the leisure afforded, thereby exemplifying the possibility and enhancing the probability of the freedom to then search the self, the beginning of seeking the Law of One.

Few there are working physically from daybreak to darkness, as you name them, upon your plane who can contemplate the Law of One in a conscious fashion.

I was clicking through this forum and an interesting thought unfolded: I've always received compliments on my prowess as a communicator, both speaking and writing. This has always served me well when digesting another person's writing as well.

However, upon discovering Bring 4th I realized that I had a difficult time understanding the thoughts presented on various posts, due to their in-depth nature, it took tedious re-reading to get my head around the majority of posts that were of length. This was beneficial for me as it both identified and humbled a rather inflated expectation of myself that I didn't even realize existed. Simultaneously, the inherent kindness that everyone writes with worked to stave off any feelings of intimidation. This made for a learning experience that felt very beneficial as it provided me with a dose of reality, while remaining extremely comfortable - joyful even.

This is my first example of noticeably learning something about myself by simply experiencing the "radiance" of others.

It seems to me that this is the perfect way serve others, by being passively radiant, I believe Ra speaks of this if memory serves. Therefore, the first step as a newcomer would likely be simply working to get one's Self in balance. As this improves, one then strives to master opening themselves to others they interact with so that person may be able to actually experience the radiance within. For me, I see this as a daunting task as I am an "introvert" to new people in my life that I interact with in person. However, this probably stems from the blockage of some energy center and can be improved - is this correct?

This may seem elementary but I knew if I sat down and wrote it out it would make better sense to me, and then by posting it I stand to gain from the people here willing to expand on or clarify my attempts to apply the Law of One to my life.

I was just thinking about this today -

* everytime we sleep and dream, our consciousness crosses into time/space

* when we reach deep deep meditation, we cross over into time/space

* whenever we do anything related to the pineal gland, we cross over into time/space

of course, everyone knows that the rules in time/space are pretty funky and crazy. Our remembered dreams are testament to that.

I had this intuition/hunch that when we cross over into time/space, a copy of our consciousness is made, and then our point of awareness is shifted to that copy in time/space. Our point of experience is still anchored in the 3d space/time body, but our attention is moved into the copy that is time/space. That way we can experience time/space without actually losing the connection to our body.

so we then have our dream/meditation in time/space. When we are done, our point of attention is moved back into the physical body, but the copy of your consciousness is still alive in time/space!

now, if we go to bed in the same spot every night, the copy of our consciousness will appear in the same exact spot in time/space. Theoretically every dream that we have has created a different time stream copy of us in that same location.

is this too much of a reach? can you follow the logic?

I have been hearing "We are all one" since I was 19 years old and first became a Baha'i. I never had to actually FEEL it until recently (I'm now 63.) It's been scaring me and tonight, I have discovered why. I've been afraid that if I acknowledge the oneness and become part of that one, that I would eventually lose myself. What if I continue to progress in evolution and eventually find myself (myselves?) in a 6th density memory complex. Does that mean that I am not me? That I am no longer someone with memories and experiences? Will I find unity but lose the very special feeling of loving my children and my grandchildren and the beauty of the snow outside and the beauty of the wild rose when it blooms next June, because I lose memory of them when I lose myself?

Is oneness addition or subtraction? For oneness to be complete, does the individual comprising each part lose self to become one?

I had a flash tonight of being one with others. It was just a flash and it felt - the best word to use is - whole. It was quite a sensation of lightness. I tried recapturing it later, but I guess I'm locked back inside myself for now.

Is there anything in TLOO that talks about loss of self when becoming one with others or maintaining self-identity while still one with the whole?

So I have been reading a few of the old alchemist books a long with some of the newer ones. They have helped me understand a lot of things but the biggest thing was the representation of polarity in the physical world.

Alchemy is just another system used to describe the Law of One. As we all know the key goal of Alchemy is creating the philosophers stone. The philosophers stone is believed to be a substance that is pure life energy with unlimited power. Now it is quite apparent to me that the stone is an analogy of mankind evolving or ascending or whatever you want to call it. The thing that the older original alchemists's put forward is that the stone cannot be revealed to the world until the time is right. Anyway I won't babble on about alchemy but if any are interested in researching more all the books are on the web.

Back to polarity. Alchemists where fully aware of polarity and it's role in our universe. They believed that the only truth is the truth of nature. They saw a pattern in everything in existence, the pattern of polarity. They noticed that these patterns come and go in cycles . It comes in different names but it is all the same thing, some call it yin and yang, positive and negative etc. Everything on this earth is a creation of this polarity.

Here a few quotes from the book of Aquarius which was written as a sort of overview of the art of alchemy. He describes it much better then I can.

male force attempts to impose itself upon everything, it wants to multiply itself. The female force on the
other hand tries to bring everything back to its original element. It is the female force that allows for rebirth
by encouraging reduction and decomposition back into the original element, supporting and nourishing this
for the task of the male, which is to encourage growth, development and multiplication.

Hey gang,

I've had a question rolling around in my head this week. What is the value of faith? It's a tough question that I don't have a fast answer to. Where metaphysics / religion / spirituality is concerned, the only thing I can think of is perhaps it reassures one that our consciousness doesn't go to oblivion upon bodily death? Does it help an individual in any other way than that?

Food for thought / bonus question- is it a hallmark of the negative path to see absolutely no point in or to place no value on faith? Demanding proof, being cynical etc? Or is that just another polarity neutral choice in attitude / perspective among the infinite attitudes one could form?

I am leaning towards the first interpretation, as this repeats the number 7 in our density (along with 7 chakras).

I was interpreting it as version b for a while, but this doesn't make much sense as Ra says that 'normal' people only have their 3rd Density bodies activated (and Crystal Children their 4th as well).

this little interplay here from Session 83 has always fascinated me:
