I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 93.21-.22:

“Questioner: I’m at a loss to know the significance of the serpents that adorn the head of the entity on this drawing. Are they of Ra, and, if so, what do they signify?

Ra: I am Ra. They are cultural in nature. In the culture to which these images were given the serpent was the symbol of wisdom. Indeed, to the general user of these images perhaps the most accurate connotation of this portion of the concept complexes might be the realization that the serpent is that which is powerful magically.

In the positive sense this means that the serpent will appear at the indigo-ray site upon the body of the image figures. When a negative connotation is intended one may find the serpent at the solar plexus center.

Questioner: Is there any significance to the serpent? Is there any polarity to the serpent as we experience it in this illusion?

Ra: I am Ra. We assume that you question the serpent as used in these images rather than the second-density life form which is a portion of your experience. There is a significance to the serpent form in a culture which coexists with your own but which is not your own; that is, the serpent as symbol of that which some call the kundalini, and which we have discussed in previous material.”

It is interesting that the serpent has such a significant role in various cultures on Earth. As a symbol of the kundalini it has a sacred role of representing the full expression of the intelligent energy and intelligent infinity of the One Infinite Creator as it expresses itself in the rising through the energy centers of the human being. With each ascended energy center the expression of energy is wider and more powerful in terms of being able to do work in consciousness, which is the basic purpose of white ritual magic.

In Christianity the serpent is the tempter of Eve in persuading her to taste of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Thus the serpent initiates both Eve and Adam into the world of illusion which is the third density, and in which lessons are learned more rapidly than if they had stayed in Eden, unaware of anything but the total unity of the Creator. They would have been like the mind/body/spirits of third density who had no veil between the conscious and subconscious minds. There would have been no reason to attempt to learn or grow because, in both cases, divine bliss does not motivate action but, rather, beingness.

The Egyptians use the serpents, according to Ra, to denote wisdom. The positive wisdom of service to others and seeing all as the Creator was signified by placing the serpent at the brow chakra, which is the center of magical working and the true nature of the adept seen as the Creator. Negative wisdom of service to self and control of other selves was signified by placing the serpent at the yellow ray center, so that the negative adept seeks separation from and control over other selves. In 101.2, I had a disagreement with Don that I did not immediately heal that caused me to use the serpent in the negative sense:

Questioner: Thank you. What has caused the swelling in Jim’s body, and what can be done to heal it?

Ra: I am Ra. For the answer to this query we must begin with the consideration of the serpent, signifying wisdom. This symbol has the value of the ease of viewing the two faces of the one who is wise. Positive wisdom adorns the brow, indicating indigo-ray work. Negative wisdom, by which we intend to signify expressions which effectually separate the self from the other-self, may be symbolized by the poison of the fangs. To use that which a mind/body/spirit complex has gained of wisdom for the uses of separation is to invite the fatal bite of that wisdom’s darker side.

The entity has a mental/emotional tendency, which has been lessening in distortion for some of your space/time, towards negative wisdom. The entity being already aware of this causes us not to dwell upon this point but merely to specifically draw the boundaries of the metaphysical background for the energizing of a series of bites from one of your second-density species. In this case the bite was no more than that of one of the arachnids, sometimes called the wood spider.

However, it is possible that were enough work done to test the origin of the pathology of the entity, it is within possibility/probability limits that the testing would show the bite of the cottonmouth rather than the bite of the common wood spider.

The energizing took its place within the lymphatic system of the entity’s yellow-ray, physical body. Therefore the working continues. There is increasing strain upon the spleen, the supra-renal glands, the renal complex, and some possibility/probability of difficulty with the liver. Further, the lymphatic difficulties have begun to strain the entity’s bronchial system. This is some general information upon what is to be noted as a somewhat efficient working.

The removal of these distortions has several portions:

Firstly, it is well to seek the good offices of the one known as Stuart so that harsh chemical means may be taken to reawaken the histaminic reflexes of the entity and to aid in the removal of edema.

Secondly, we suggest that which has already begun; that is, the request of the one known now to this group as Bob that this entity may focus its aid upon the metaphysical connections with the yellow-ray body.

Thirdly, the entity must take note of its physical vehicle’s need for potassium. The ingesting of the fruit of the banana palm is recommended.

Fourthly, the links between the swelling of contumely and the apparent present situation is helpful.

As always the support of the harmonious group is an aid, as is meditation. It is to be noted that this entity requires some discipline in the meditation which the others of the group do not find necessary in the same manner. Therefore, the entity may continue with its forms of meditation knowing that each in the group supports it entirely, although the instinct to share in the discipline is not always present.

Each entity has its ways of viewing and learning from the illusion, and each processes catalyst using unique circuitry. Thus all need not be the same to be equal in will and faith.

The harmony that existed between Don, Carla, and me was such an obvious and comforting feature of our relationships with each other. It was a primary quality that allowed those of Ra to speak through Carla and communicate with our group. There was only one significant disharmony that ever existed between the three of us, and I was the one who caused it. The time came for us to privately print Book Three of the Law of One, and Don wanted to print the first three books together in one volume. As our bookkeeper I told him that was a great idea, but we didn’t have the money to do that. We only had enough money in the L/L account to print Book Three by itself.

However, Don insisted that we needed to print all three together. I got frustrated with his refusal to recognize our lack of funds and just as we were discussing this topic someone knocked at the front door of our living room. I demonstrated my frustration at Don by running to the door and jumping a couch that we used to section off that portion of the living room for a cozier circle for our Sunday night meditations. So I allowed this disharmony to exist overnight, and during the night a common wood spider bit me twice on my right arm. Within two weeks I gained 20 lbs. of water weight because our fifth-density friend of negative polarity intensified the potency of the spider bite to equal that of a cottonmouth snake, also known as a water moccasin. I think that it’s interesting that Ra began their answer to Don’s question by referring to the “serpent signifying wisdom,” and the spider bite that I got involved a poisonous serpent as an analogy to the spider. The principle at work here was, “for a mind/body/spirit complex to take that it has gained of wisdom and use it

 for the separation from other selves is to invite the fatal bite of that wisdom’s darker side.”

This was another Sabbath Day of Rest, and much of it was spent with Dan D. Lion and Chloe. I noticed that Chloe’s progress from last night of eating boiled chicken and coming into the living room to sit in my lap had turned around abruptly this morning. When I went to carry her into the bathroom and give her subcutaneous fluids I noticed that she had peed where she was sitting on the bed. She also seemed far less energetic than she was the night before. I took her out on the front porch again and she did get up and walk a few feet down the ramp and sat for a while. When I attempted to get her back in the house she let me know she wanted to stay on the porch, so I was glad that she was having a little fun at least. I took Dan outside a couple of time today, and he enjoyed himself as usual.

After lunch I made my usual errand run with my first stop being at Feeder’s supply to buy food for the kitties upstairs. Then I stopped at Paul’s Fruit Market to buy a little food for myself. My last stop was at Walgreen’s to buy a little more food for myself.

The Spirit Speaks Through You

I am of the principle of love and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love, the Christed consciousness.

There are times when those who wish to seek the spirit of love find themselves unable to perceive that which has been given but which is blocked by some error of human thought within the seeker. Yet this apparent lack of contact lived in a life of faith is not a troublesome matter, for the faithful seeker knows that the spirit is always active in those who seek the spirit. Thus by faith it is understood that Christ’s power does not come into the world here and not there, but is everywhere.

Moreover, how many, many times is someone blocked from Christ’s consciousness, yet given the grace to be that consciousness for another? So may seeker encourage seeker and spirit encourage spirit.

Let not your tongues be silent when you may speak words of sympathy and encouragement to others. For the spirit speaks through you and heals the world.

May the peace of love be yours, now and always. Amen.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 93.20:

“Questioner: I was just wondering if the transparency of the garment on the third card indicates the semi-permeable nature of the veil between conscious and subconscious?

Ra: I am Ra. This is a thoughtful perception and cannot be said to be incorrect. However, the intended suggestion, in general, is an echo of our earlier suggestion that the nature of catalyst is that of the unconscious; that is, outward catalyst comes through the veil.

All that you perceive seems to be consciously perceived. This is not the correct supposition. All that you perceive is perceived as catalyst unconsciously. By the, shall we say, time that the mind begins its appreciation of catalyst, that catalyst has been filtered through the veil, and in some cases much is veiled in the most apparently clear perception.”

The feminine-looking figure in Card Number 3, The Catalyst of the Mind, is wearing a garment over her upper body that seems to be transparent. Don asks Ra if that transparency signifies the semi-permeable nature of the veil between the conscious and subconscious mind. Ra says that Don’s statement is not incorrect, but what was intended by that transparent garment was the fact that all catalyst comes through the veil from the subconscious or unconscious mind. As we go through our daily round of activities it seems very clear to us that the catalyst that comes to us is noticed by our conscious mind with no intermediary to filter or alter it. But Ra says that our catalyst actually comes from our unconscious mind. Even when we think that we perceive these unconscious images and messages clearly, there still could be much connected to these perceptions that has not consciously been perceived. Our pre-incarnative choices are embedded in our unconscious minds, and, along with our hoped-for responses, form a kind of lens through which we see and interpret the catalyst first unconsciously and then consciously. In 60.3, Ra described Carla’s pre-incarnative choices that concerned how she wished to be of service to the Creator and how she interpreted them in her life:

There is some small amount of work which the instrument may do concerning its pre-incarnative decisions regarding service to the Infinite Creator in this experience. However, the decision to open, without reservation, to the offering of self when service is perceived is such a fundamental choice that it is not open to significant alteration, nor would we wish to interfere with the balancing process which is taking place with this particular entity.

The wisdom and compassion being so balanced by this recapitulation of fourth density is helpful to this particular mind/body/spirit complex. It is not an entity much given to quibbling with the purity with which it carries out that which it feels it is best to do. We may say this due to the instrument’s knowledge of itself, which is clear upon this point. However, this very discussion may give rise to a slightly less fully unstopped dedication to service in any one working so that the service may be continued over a greater period of your space/time.

The more that we have come to know ourselves, and the more aware we are of the nature of the spiritual journey, the more likely we are to see the larger picture of the meaning of the catalyst that comes to us through the veil of forgetting. This process is a lot like dream interpretation but in the waking state. Much of our experience is symbolic and has larger connotations that we are aware of by observing the catalyst that transmits a message to us. In both dreams and in the waking state, the unconscious mind is sending us messages through what happens to us and how we interpret what happens to us. In 94.11, Ra explains how our unconscious minds bias catalyst that we consciously perceive:

Questioner: I have drawn a small diagram in which I simply show an arrow which represents catalyst penetrating a line at right angles to the arrow, which is the veil, and then depositing in one of two repositories: one which I would call on the right-hand path, one on the left-hand path. And I have labeled these two repositories for the catalytic action as it’s filtered through the veil “the Experience.” Would this be a very rough analogy of the way the catalyst is filtered through the veil to become experience?

Ra: I am Ra. Again, you are partially correct. The deeper biases of a mind/body/spirit complex pilot the catalyst around the many isles of positivity and negativity as expressed in the archipelago of the deeper mind. However, the analogy is incorrect in that it does not take into account the further polarization which most certainly is available to the conscious mind after it has perceived the partially polarized catalyst from the deeper mind.

This morning I took Dan D. Lion to the vet to have an enema to relieve his constipation. As that took nearly two hours I came back home and took Chloe outside so she could explore some of the outdoors which she has seldom experienced this year. I was hoping that it might be fun for her and energize her very low level of activity since the three-day experience at the vet’s to have IV injections of fluids into her veins. She has never enjoyed going to the vet, and being outdoors yesterday seemed like fun for her. Today, however, she simply chose to sit and move around very little. While she was sitting I got most of the flowers in the front yard watered.

This afternoon I picked Dan D. up at the vet and when we got back home he and I went for another walk around the yard which allowed him to hang out here and there in his favorite places. Then I took him inside and did my speed walk. When I got back I used my big mower to mow the grass and then my backpack blower to blow clean all walkways, the front porch, the back deck, and the parking area in front of the house. Then I completed the watering of the back yard.

Bless Your Brokenness

I am of the energy of the full consciousness of divine love and I greet you in the blessed name of Jesus the Christ.

As you see yourself moving into the world of business and matters, objects and circumstances, you may well see yourself to be inadequate to or broken by all of these worldly things. See and bless this brokenness.

I say “bless” because to be broken is the blessing of the fruit that is to be eaten; of the loaf that is to be shared; of the limited, inadequate thing which may become not only enough but much more than enough.

Open your inner being to the consciousness of love which the spirit of Jesus the Christ offers. Bless and give thanks for your limitations and then open the heart to the action of the consciousness of infinite love and you shall see how all has been created perfectly.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 93.18:

“Questioner: The third card also shows the wand (I am assuming it is) in the right hand; the ball at the top being the round magical shape. Am I in any way correct in guessing that Catalyst of the Mind suggests possible eventual use of the magic depicted by this wand?

Ra: I am Ra. The wand is astrological in its origin and as an image may be released from its stricture. The sphere of spiritual power is an indication, indeed, that each opportunity is pregnant with the most extravagant magical possibilities for the far-seeing adept.”

In Card Number Three it’s hard to see the wand and ball on its top, but the ball is just below the figure’s right ear and the wand extends down to the figure’s right hand. Don is guessing that the wand might suggest the eventual magic that can come from within the seeker when catalyst provided by the subconscious mind is processed by the conscious mind.

Ra agrees with Don’s assessment but says that the wand is astrological in origin, and we can remove it from the card. It is the sphere, itself, that provides “the most extravagant magical possibilities for the far-seeing adept.”  The sphere, being round, has no beginning or end and thus signifies infinity, I believe, in the case of catalyst for the mind, that the conscious mind will use to process into experience. I believe that Ra is saying that there is no end to how the adept may use any catalyst for the mind that it will process into experience. All catalyst can be used by a variety of the energy centers, and then the sacramental nature of all catalyst has multiple facets, like a diamond, that offer continuous growth of the mind, the body, and the spirit on the seeker’s journey as Ra suggested in 54.17:

Questioner: I would like then to trace the evolution of catalyst upon the mind/body/spirit complexes and how it comes into use and is fully used to create this tuning. I assume that the sub-Logos that formed our tiny part of the creation, using the intelligence of the Logos of which it is a part, provides, shall I say, the base catalyst that will act upon mind/body complexes and mind/body/spirit complexes before they reach the state of development where they can begin to program their own catalyst. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is partially correct. The sub-Logos offers the catalyst at the lower levels of energy, the first triad; these have to do with the survival of the physical complex. The higher centers gain catalyst from the biases of the mind/body/spirit complex itself in response to all random and directed experiences.

Thus the less developed entity will perceive the catalyst about it in terms of survival of the physical complex, with the distortions which are preferred. The more conscious entity, being conscious of the catalytic process, will begin to transform the catalyst offered by the sub-Logos into catalyst which may act upon the higher nexi.

Thus the sub-Logos can offer only a basic skeleton, shall we say, of catalyst. The muscles and flesh—having to do with the, shall we say, survival of wisdom, love, compassion, and service—are brought about by the action of the mind/body/spirit complex on basic catalyst so as to create a more complex catalyst which may, in turn, be used to form distortions within these higher energy centers.

The more advanced the entity, the more tenuous the connection between the sub-Logos and the perceived catalyst until, finally, all catalyst is chosen, generated, and manufactured by the self, for the self.

This morning I used the sprinkler to water the gardens around the fish pond while I was taking Chloe to the vet for her third day of IV fluids. When I got back I took Dan D. Lion for a walk around the yard so he could enjoy his outdoor time. Then I finished watering the front and back yards with my garden hose and watering wand.

This afternoon I used my trimmer to finish trimming the back yard, and the I used my hedge clippers to trim back the forsythia bushes in three areas where it was needed. I also trimmed back the Spirea bush on the northern border with my neighbors before I called it a day.

I got a call from the vet this afternoon to tell me that after three days of getting IV fluids that Chloe’s numbers were not any better than they were before getting the fluids. They were even a little worse. So now the plan with Chloe is for me to give her 100 ml. of subcutaneous fluids every day. I will also give her half a tab of cerenia pills every day to keep her from vomiting. The great hope is that we can get her eating again, and for that we will give her a quarter tablet of mirtazapine every other day. As you can probably tell, it looks like Chloe and Dan D. Lion may not have much longer to live in this world, but I will make every effort to help them be comfortable for as long as possible.

The Bird That Sings

I am of the principle of divine love and joy. I greet you in the full consciousness of Christ.

I greet you in joy. Think you that Jesus did not have joy? It is not so. No matter what the suffering of the human condition, there is joy in every moment to be found by opening the inward eye to the beauties, the possibilities, and the chances of the creation.

It may perhaps be that there are matters which cause the utmost discouragement. Yet always there is the bird that sings, the tassel upon the corn that waves in the wind, and the blue, ethereal sky flocked with clouds.

Look up this day and find the joy within the creation about you. Look within and feel the kindly hand of the spirit, for the principle of love needs only to be requested to appear in each seeking heart.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 93.14:

“Questioner: Then the adept, in becoming familiar with the Logos’s archetype in each case, would then be able to most efficiently use the Logos’s plan for evolution. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. In the archetypical mind one has the resource of not specifically a plan for evolution, but rather a blueprint or architecture of the nature of evolution. This may seem to be a small distinction, but it has significance in perceiving more clearly the use of this resource of the deep mind.”

Don is asking a general question here about the archetypes and not any particular one. Don is seeing the archetypes as a “plan” for evolution and wants to know if the adept follows this plan, would it be the most efficient way for it to evolve. Previously, in 91.34, Ra mentioned the general quality of seekers being able to make unique interpretations of the images of the archetypical mind which would suggest that one plan would not fit all:

Questioner: Are these all of the components, then, of this first archetype?

Ra: I am Ra. These are all you, the student, sees. Thusly the complement is complete for you. Each student may see some other nuance.

We, as we have said, did not offer these images with boundaries, but only as general guidelines intending to aid the adept and to establish the architecture of the deep or archetypical portion of the deep mind.

In their answer to Don’s question, Ra makes a distinction between a plan and how they describe the archetypical mind as a blueprint for the “nature” of evolution. I believe that Ra makes this distinction because a plan would suggest that each step of the evolutionary process of the mind, the body, and the spirit was pre-programmed, shall we say. There would be one plan that each adept would have to discover. However, Ra mentioned many times during our discussion of the archetypical mind that they had no dogma to offer, and that each seeker would derive unique interpretations of the nature of the archetypical mind that would aid it most efficiently in its evolution. Ra altered this definition somewhat by describing the archetypical mind as a “blueprint of the builded structure of all energy expenditures and all seeking, without distortion” as they said in 91.37:

Questioner: So for an individual who wishes to consciously augment his own evolution, an ability to recognize and utilize the archetypes would be beneficial in sorting out that which he wished to seek and that which he found—and that which would be found then as not as efficient a seeking tool. Would this be a good statement?

Ra: I am Ra. This is a fairly adequate statement. The term “efficient” might also fruitfully be replaced by the term “undistorted.” The archetypical mind, when penetrated lucidly, is a blueprint of the builded structure of all energy expenditures and all seeking, without distortion. This, as a resource within the deep mind, is of great potential aid to the adept.

This morning we had a channeling session in which each of us channeled Q’uo’s responses to a different question. Our questions concerned the balancing exercises that Ra gave us, helping loved ones no matter the cost, dealing with feelings of dread of losing control of our lives, and how love and wisdom/light are two sides of the same coin.

Chloe spent another full 9 hours at the vet today getting more IV fluids in her veins. This is a very stressful situation for her, and she is not a happy kitty when she gets home. Just after our channeling session was over I took Dan D. Lion to the vet to see if he is constipated as I had not seen any stools in his litter box for a few days. An X-ray confirmed his constipation, so I will give him lactulose two times a day for two days, and if that doesn’t solve the problem I will take him to the vet Saturday morning for an enema. Dan and I also took three walks around the yard today to give him a chance to enjoy the outdoors.

In the late afternoon I squeezed in a trimming session where I took up at the bird feeder area and finished most of the back yard. It looks like I should be able to finish the trimming project sometime tomorrow.

The Fire Of Love

Greetings from the spirit of Christ to the world. Love, peace and blessings be with you.

The fire of unconditional love is a rampaging and ruthless force which is infinitely creative. Fire also burns, and those who are led by the spirit are often led to shed and allow to fall into disrepair traits and sensibilities which function well in the world of sense but not in the world where love holds sway.

It cannot be escaped, the fire of love, yet by placing yourself trustfully within that fire you may find your soul taught and tempered by its creative blaze. Much of loss is experienced by those whose path is that of Christ. May you who seek learn to see that the power of love is one which changes situations. There is loss involved. Place your mind trustfully in the faith that those things which fall away will be replaced by far more lovely gifts.

“Questioner: Would I be correct in saying that the archetype for the Catalyst of the Mind is the Logos’s model for its most efficient plan for the activity or use or action of the catalyst of the mind?

Ra: I am Ra. Yes.”

After getting an idea in the previous question and answer that any particular catalyst can be processed by the seeker of truth in many different ways, Don now simply asks Ra if Card Number 3, The Catalyst of the Mind, is the Logo’s best plan for how catalyst may be processed by the conscious mind.  Ra said “Yes”. The pre-incarnative choices of the seeker of truth will determine what catalyst will be significant to the seeker as well as what particular interpretations the seeker may place upon certain catalyst that comes before its notice. In 94.11, Ra gave an example of how our unconscious mind helps us the interpret our catalyst:

However, the analogy is incorrect in that it does not take into account the further polarization which most certainly is available to the conscious mind after it has perceived the partially polarized catalyst from the deeper mind.

This morning I went outside and use my garden hose and watering wand and watered the plants in the front and side yards that needed watering, which was most of them. Then I used my trimmer to weed the Moss Garden and the Ruins Mound. By that time I was ready to have lunch and relax from the heat outside. In the afternoon I used my trimmer again to trim the side and front yards and make a small start in the back yard. Then I watered the flowers and newly-transplanted bushes in the back yard. As I write this journal entry in mid-afternoon the outside temperature is 100 degrees. We also have not had any substantial rain for the last ten days, and almost all the flowers and bushes need water every day.

This morning I also took Chloe to the vet to stay all day and have IV fluids injected into her veins because her blood test results were so poor. She will need to return tomorrow and Friday as well for more IV fluids. The real problem is getting her to eat again, and we will need to find the best way to enhance her appetite with the appropriate meds. Dan D. Lion is holding steady with his eating and peeing, and we are enjoying our time together both indoors and outdoors.

Positive And Negative Flows

I am of the spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ, and I greet you in love.

The principle of love has no beginning and no end; no movement in time; no inner dynamic of strength or weakness. Love is an energy which flows according to desire and spoken need. And, indeed, many unspoken needs create the flow of spirit.

It is possible also to create a flow which dries and negates the voice of the spirit of love. You experience this flow as doubt. Yet it is the lack of positive faith which permits the negative flow.

We suggest that all self-recrimination be laid aside, for all people create both positive and negative flows within the life experience at different times. Only focus upon this moment and offer your gift of faith in the face of it, that a positive flow of spirit may come to show to you the face of love.

“Questioner: I would like, if possible, an example of the activity we call Catalyst of the Mind in a particular individual undergoing this process. Could Ra give an example of that?

Ra: I am Ra. All that assaults your senses is catalyst. We, in speaking to this support group through this instrument, offer catalyst. The configurations of each in the group of body offer catalyst through comfort/discomfort. In fact all that is unprocessed that has come before the notice of a mind/body/spirit complex is catalyst.

Questioner: Then presently we receive catalyst of the mind as we are aware of Ra’s communication, and we receive catalyst of the body as our body senses all of the inputs to the body, as I understand it. But could Ra then describe catalyst of the spirit, and are we at this time receiving that catalyst also? And if not, could Ra give an example of that?

Ra: I am Ra. Catalyst being processed by the body is catalyst for the body. Catalyst being processed by the mind is catalyst for the mind. Catalyst being processed by the spirit is catalyst for the spirit. An individual mind/body/spirit complex may use any catalyst which comes before its notice—be it through the body and its senses, or through mentation, or through any other more highly developed source—and use this catalyst in its unique way to form an experience unique to it, with its biases.”

Since we are discussing Card Number Three, the Catalyst of the Mind, Don notes that in communicating with Ra we are aware of catalyst of the mind and of the body. But he couldn’t perceive any catalyst of the spirit, so he asks Ra if we are receiving that catalyst too in this communication. Ra’s reply basically says that any catalyst a seeker of truth perceives can be used by the mind, the body, or the spirit depending upon the unique needs of the seeker. During the Ra sessions I would meditate and send energy to Carla and image it flowing from her head downward through all her energy centers. This was the direction from which those of Ra would enter her body to utilize her energy centers, vocal cords, tongue, and lips to communicate with us. So the actual communication was catalyst for my mind, which I enhanced by mental visualizations. In 78.7, Ra suggested that Don and I could do what I had already been doing in this regard:

Questioner: Thank you. In utilizing the energetic displacements of thought-forms energizing the instrument during contact most efficiently, what specifically could we do?

Ra: I am Ra. Each of the support group has an excess of love and light to offer the instrument during the working. Already each sends to the instrument love, light, and thoughts of strength of the physical, mental, and spiritual configurations. These sending are forms. You may refine these sendings until the fullest manifestations of love and light are sent into the energy web of this entity which functions as instrument. Your exact sending is, in order to be most potent, the creature of your own making.

The cramped position of my body as I sat cross-legged on the floor brought catalyst for my body. In 64.20, Don asked Ra a question for me that dealt with this catalyst of the body:

Questioner: In the healing exercises, when you say “examine the sensations of the body,” do you mean those sensations available to the body via the five senses? Or in relation to the natural functions of the body such as touching, loving, sexual sharing, and company? Or are you speaking of something else altogether?

Ra: I am Ra. The questioner may perceive its body complex at this moment. It is experiencing sensations. Most of these sensations, or in this case nearly all of them, are transient and without interest. However, the body is the creature of the mind. Certain sensations carry importance due to the charge or power which is felt by the mind upon the experience of this sensation.

For instance, at this space/time nexus one sensation is carrying a powerful charge and may be examined. This is the sensation of what you call the distortion towards discomfort due to the cramped position of the body complex during this working. In balancing you would then explore this sensation. Why is this sensation powerful? Because it was chosen in order that the entity might be of service to others in energizing this contact.

Each sensation that leaves the aftertaste of meaning upon the mind, that leaves the taste within the memory, shall be examined. These are the sensations of which we speak.

And my images of the energy entering Carla’s crown chakra and traveling through all of her energy centers also provided catalyst of the spirit—as well as my mind as I mentioned earlier–as I was attempting to transfer spiritual energies to her to aid the contact with Ra. In 72.17, Ra mentioned that they also entered Carla’s crown chakra to utilize her as an instrument:

We of Ra approach this instrument in narrow-band contact through violet ray. Others might pierce down through this ray to any energy center. We, for instance, make great use of this instrument’s blue-ray energy center as we are attempting to communicate our distortion-understandings of the Law of One.

This morning I again began in the front yard and used my watering wand and garden hose to water all of the flowers that needed water and then did the same for the side yard and the flower gardens around the fish pond. In the afternoon I watered all of the flowers in the back yard which needed water, and for the most part, in the front, side, and back yard almost all of the flowers needed water. There is a chance for rain tomorrow to go along with the record high temperatures. I am certainly hoping for rain!

Dan D. Lion continues to eat and pee and enjoy our times together outside throughout the day. However, I have just discovered that his sister, Chloe, has stopped eating. Yesterday was the first day that she did not eat any of the three doses of cat lax mixed in with canned cat food. She has always been very good about eating these mixtures. And it finally became clear to me that the reason I have not had to fill either of the two bowls of hard cat food in her room recently is because she is not eating them. So she has not eaten for at least two or three days now.

I took her to the vet to have blood drawn for labs, and the vet let me know that all of her kidney values were the highest that she had ever seen. We have decided that the best course of action now for Chloe is for me to drop her off at the vet’s early in the morning for the next three days and have fluids given her intravenously rather than sub-cutaneously as I do ever other day. The we will draw blood for more labs to see if the high numbers have come down.

Holy Ground Of Your Being

I am of the principle of love and I greet you as the spirit of Jesus the Christ who moves in the world in the present moment.

What, indeed, is holy? And how can we be called the Holy Spirit? Gaze about you as you move through your daily activities. What see you that is holy? What see you that is blessed?

As you gaze outward, you see the blessings of tree and flower, shrub and grass. Yet do you gaze inward to find the holy ground within? As you sit in contemplation of these words, be aware that you are upon the holy ground of your own being, created in holiness, sent forth into this earthly world in holiness, and now suffering and rejoicing in holiness.

Know and feel the divinity of being which lies beneath all imperfection and then know that, by the power of the Holy Spirit that speaks within, each of you may use those hands for holy things, for service to each little one that belongs to the Father.

“Questioner: The feet of the entity seem to be on an unstable platform that is dark to the rear and light to the front. I am guessing that possibly this indicates that the entity standing on this could sway in either direction, toward the left or the right-hand path. Is this in any way correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is most perceptive.” 

In Card Number Three, the Catalyst of the Mind, the entity in the picture is sitting on a square, facing left, and her feet are resting inside what looks like a quarter moon. This is the “unstable platform” that Don asks Ra about. He notes that the platform is dark in its rear portion and light in its front, so he asks Ra if this coloration and shape of the platform might mean that the seeker of truth could sway either to the light or to the dark, the right-hand path of service to others or the left-hand path of service to self. Ra simply says that Don is “most perceptive”. So this means that no matter what the catalyst that we may face in our daily lives we have the opportunity to look at it in either a positive sense or in a negative sense.  Just because catalyst at first glance seems to be negative doesn’t’ mean that we have to look at it as such. We can engage the love in our hearts at any time and magically transform any catalyst for a positive use as Ra referred to in 80.15:

Even the most unhappy of experiences, shall we say, which seem to occur in the Catalyst of the adept, seen from the viewpoint of the spirit, may, with the discrimination possible in shadow, be worked with until light equaling the light of brightest noon descends upon the adept and positive or service-to-others illumination has occurred. 

And in 95.24, Ra gives another example of how we may do this on our spiritual journey:

Questioner: From that statement I interpret the following meaning: That if the Experience of the Mind has sufficiently chosen the right-hand path—as total purity is approached in choosing of the right-hand path—then total imperviousness from the effect of the left-hand catalyst is also approached. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is exquisitely perceptive. The seeker which has purely chosen the service-to-others path shall certainly not have a variant apparent incarnational experience. There is no outward shelter in your illusion from the gusts, flurries, and blizzards of quick and cruel catalyst.

However, to the pure, all that is encountered speaks of the love and the light of the One Infinite Creator. The cruelest blow is seen with an ambiance of challenges offered and opportunities to come. Thusly, the great pitch of light is held high above such an one so that all interpretation may be seen to be protected by light.

The hot, dry weather returned today, and this meant that I would need to continue watering various of the flower gardens. This morning I used my watering wand and garden hose to water the flowers along the parking area in front of the house, the Cone Flowers on the Ruins Mound, and the Giant Sunflowers and Hollyhocks to the left of the fish pond. In the afternoon I watered the Azaleas in the cross area, the Astilbe, and the Sun Patiens in the Sun Mandala behind the garage.

Dan D. Lion peed again early this morning, and he purred for about ten minutes as I began my first meditation of the day. His appetite is still quite good, and I have the sense that he is happy to be here and always glad when we take one of our walks outside during the day. However, it looks like his sister, Chloe, is getting jealous of all the attention that I am giving Dan D., so I will need to be sure to give her more attention to keep her happy.

Faith And Forgiveness

I am of the principle of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.

Faith. Forgiveness. These two words move together in rhythm, creating a more beautiful dance of your life experience. It takes a foolish and unconditional faith to forgive; to forgive the self and to forgive others. But those things which are not forgiven are as burdens carried which may be laid down, stopping all consequences, releasing all personal ties to the difficulties of your life experience.

As you forgive in faith, so you act as unconditional love would have you act. Yet, do not do this too early. But rather, be sure that you have created in yourself a new heart and a new spirit, a new knowledge of faith, that the faith and forgiveness may not come from your will, but through you from the Father.

For only in the Father’s infinite mercy may He forgive iniquity. And you are the channel of that forgiveness, as is everyone who has consciousness and emotion, potentially.

Speak well in the world. Yet always, within, dwell in an humble and holy spirit of unconditional love, having the faith to forgive and forgive and forgive again. For those who have forgiven have no further connection with the spiritual difficulties produced by the difficult situations.

Self forgiven and other-self forgiven, you may move through your day in a dance of joy, doing all that you do for the love of the Father, finding no chore or task too simple to be blessed. Free yourself, my friends, by faith and forgiveness, into the peace of Jesus the Christ.

“Questioner: There seems to be no large hint of polarity in this drawing except for the possible coloration of the many cups in the wheel. Part of them are colored black, and part of the cup is white. Would this indicate that each experience has within it a possible negative or positive use of that experience that is randomly generated by this seeming wheel of fortune?

Ra: I am Ra. Your supposition is thoughtful. However, it is based upon an addition to the concept complex which is astrological in origin. Therefore, we request that you retain the concept of polarity, but release the cups from their strictured form. The element you deal with is not in motion in its original form, but is, indeed, the abiding sun which, from the spirit, shines in protection over all catalyst available from the beginning of complexity to the discerning mind/body/spirit complex.

Indeed you may, rather, find polarity expressed, firstly, by the many opportunities offered in the material illusion which is imaged by the not-white and not-dark square upon which the entity of the image is seated; secondly, upon the position of that seated entity. It does not meet opportunity straight on but glances off to one side or another.

In the image you will note a suggestion that the offering of the illusion will often seem to suggest the opportunities lying upon the left-hand path or, as you might refer to it more simply, the service-to-self path. This is a portion of the nature of the Catalyst of the Mind.”

Now Don begins the questioning on Card #3, the Catalyst of the Mind. He asks Ra if the cups in the wheel of fortune are indications that each experience has the potential for positive or negative interpretation. Ra responded by saying that the wheel of fortune is astrological in origin, and we could remove it from the card. Apparently, the original symbol was the “abiding sun” which “shined in protection from the spirit” over all catalyst of the seeker of truth. This suggests that no seeker would be expected to bear more difficulty than it could process successfully as a conscious being. In 22.6, Ra said that the shortened life span from 900 years at the beginning of the third density was another means of protecting the seeker from experiencing too much catalyst:

Questioner: Would this shortened life span help the entity in any way in that he would have more times in between incarnations to review his mistakes, or would this shortened life span hinder him?

Ra: I am Ra. Both are correct. The shortening of the life span is a distortion of the Law of One which suggests that an entity not receive more experience in more intensity than it may bear. This is only in effect upon an individual level and does not hold sway over planetary or social complexes.

Thus the shortened life span is due to the necessity for removing an entity from the intensity of experience which ensues when wisdom and love are, having been rejected, reflected back into the consciousness of the Creator without being accepted as part of the self, this then causing the entity to have the need for healing and for much evaluation of the incarnation.

The incorrectness lies in the truth that, given appropriate circumstances, a much longer incarnation in your space/time continuum is very helpful for continuing this intensive work until conclusions have been reached through the catalytic process.

Ra continues by saying that polarity may be found in this image to be represented by the black and while square that the entity sits upon. The entity seated on the square is seated sideways and faces left, which Ra said reveals that catalyst in the third density often seems negative. This makes sense since the veil of forgetting hides all of the true nature of creation as one thing, made by Love, and formed of light. Instead of seeing this as our ultimate reality, we look upon a seemingly fragmented illusion where people are separate from each other and pose potential threats to us as they compete with us for money, position, power, etc. In 85.18-.19, Ra gave a detailed description of how the veil of forgetting hid the true nature of the creation from third density:

Questioner: After the veiling process certain veiled functions or activities must have been paramount in creating evolution in desired polarized directions. I was just wondering which of these had the greatest effect on polarization?

Ra: I am Ra. The most effectual veiling was that of the mind.

Questioner: I would like to carry that on to find out what specific functions of the mind were most effectual, and the three or four most effective changes brought about to create the polarization.

Ra: I am Ra. This is an interesting query. The primary veiling was of such significance that it may be seen to be analogous to the mantling of the earth over all the jewels within the earth’s crust; whereas previously all facets of the Creator were consciously known. After the veiling, almost no facets of the Creator were known to the mind. Almost all was buried beneath the veil.

If one were to attempt to list those functions of mind most significant in that they might be of aid in polarization, one would need to begin with the faculty of visioning, envisioning, or far-seeing. Without the veil the mind was not caught in your illusory time. With the veil, space/time is the only obvious possibility for experience.

Also upon the list of significant veiled functions of the mind would be that of dreaming. The so-called dreaming contains a great deal which, if made available to the conscious mind and used, shall aid it in polarization to a great extent.

The third function of the mind which is significant and which has been veiled is that of the knowing of the body. The knowledge of and control over the body, having been lost to a great extent in the veiling process, is thusly lost from the experience of the seeker. Its knowledge before the veiling is of small use. Its knowledge after the veiling, and in the face of what is now a dense illusion of separation of body complex from mind complex, is quite significant.

Perhaps the most important and significant function that occurred due to the veiling of the mind from itself is not in itself a function of mind but rather is a product of the potential created by this veiling. This is the faculty of will or pure desire.

Today was a Sabbath Day of Rest, but since our dry spell continues—happily with cooler temperatures yesterday and today—I spent a good deal of time this morning watering flowers in the front, side, and back yards. I didn’t want to lose the watering momentum as the high temperatures will be returning tomorrow and last at least through next Saturday. I made my usual errand run after lunch with my first stop at Feeder’s Supply where I bought food for the cats and a 40 lb. bag of bird seed for the birds and squirrels. Then I stopped at Paul’s Fruit Market to buy food for myself. My last stop was at Walgreen’s where I bought some ice cream and some paper goods.

This morning I was very happy to see that Dan D. Lion had finally peed twice last night, the first time in the last few days. When he doesn’t pee, the fluids collect in his body and cause him discomfort. His appetite remains good, and that is a blessing as his body weight has fallen to seven pounds from his normal twelve pounds. I took him outside for a few walks again today, as he has always been an inside/outside cat. I don’t let him outside by himself anymore since his end stage renal failure situation could result in his passing away suddenly in unknown territory.

The Sturdy Flame Of Your Consciousness

Greetings in the love of that consciousness which is Christ. I am known to you as the Holy Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We thank you for this time, acknowledging that we are blessed by extending that holiness to you, for could you but pierce the many distractions and confusions of your daily life, you would see clearly the blessedness of your bright incarnations, the sturdy flame of your consciousness.

If we could inform you regarding the love which you express in your being with every breath, you could see yourself and others without distortion of any kind; without confusion; without the golden-hued glasses of memory. Turn, then, to the present moment, my child, for it is, as yet, unspoiled by distortion and confusion and contains the consciousness of Christ, entire and perfect.

“Questioner: Now, if I understand correctly, prior to the veiling process the electrical polarities, the polarities of radiation and absorption, all existed in some part of the creation, but the service-to-others/service-to-self polarity that we’re familiar with had not evolved and only showed up after the veiling process as an addition to the list of possible polarities, you might say, that could be made in the creation. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. No.

Questioner: Would you correct me on that?

Ra: I am Ra. The description of polarity as service to self and service to others, from the beginning of our creation, dwelt within the architecture of the primal Logos. Before the veiling process the impact of actions taken by mind/body/spirits upon their consciousnesses was not palpable to a significant enough degree to allow the expression of this polarity to be significantly useful. Over the period of what you would call time this expression of polarity did, indeed, work to alter the biases of mind/body/spirits so that they might eventually be harvested. The veiling process made the polarity far more effective.”

Here Don is assuming the electrical polarities were the only ones that existed prior to the veiling process in third density. In the previous question and answer Ra mentioned the “electrical polarities” in this way:

Questioner: Thank you. The foundation of our present illusion we have stated previously to be the concept of polarity. I would ask that, since we have defined the two polarities as service to others and service to self, is there a more complete or eloquent or enlightening definition? Or any more information that we don’t have at this time on the two ends of the poles that would give us a better insight into the nature of polarity itself?

Ra: I am Ra. It is unlikely that there is a more pithy or eloquent description of the polarities of third density than “service to others” and “service to self” due to the nature of the mind/body/spirit complex’s distortions towards perceiving concepts relating to philosophy in terms of ethics or activity. However, we might consider the polarities using slightly variant terms. In this way a possible enrichment of insight might be achieved for some.

One might consider the polarities with the literal nature enjoyed by the physical polarity of the magnet. The negative and positive, with their electrical characteristics, may be seen to be just as in the physical sense.

So in this question Don asks Ra if the “electrical polarities” were the only polarities before the veil of forgetting, and he further assumed that the service-to-others and service-to-self polarities did not exist until after the veiling process. Ra said that all polarities, including service-to-others and service-too-self, existed as part of “the architecture of the Primal Logos.” Ra had mentioned that the Primal Logos had all of the details of the creation to come within Its being before the creation was actually made, and now we discover that this plan also included the two paths back to the Creator. In 30.1, Ra confirmed that the concepts of service-to-others and service-to-self existed since before the creation began:

Questioner: I am going to make a statement and then let you correct it if I have made any errors. This is the statement: creation is a single entity, or unity. If only a single entity exists, then the only concept of service is service to self. If this single entity subdivides, then the concept of service of one of its parts to the other part is born. From this concept springs the equality of service to self, or to others.

It would seem that as the Logos subdivided, parts would select each orientation. As individualized entities emerge in space/time then I would assume that they have polarity. Is this statement correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This statement is quite perceptive and correct until the final phrase in which we note that the polarities begin to be explored only at the point when a third-density entity becomes aware of the possibility of choice between the concept, or distortion, of service to self or service to others. This marks the end of what you may call the unselfconscious, or innocent, phase of conscious awareness.

Ra also suggested that the veil of forgetting proved to be a valuable tool for accelerating evolution. The veil hid nearly all of the true nature of the creation and made it necessary for seekers of truth to work harder to find the truth of love, light, joy, and unity in themselves and in the world around them. This hard work can also be called polarization in consciousness and made graduation a far quicker process. In 83.16, Ra described the process of the penetration of the veil of forgetting:

Questioner: What techniques and methods of penetration of the veil were planned, and are there any others that have occurred other than those planned?

Ra: I am Ra. There were none planned by the first great experiment. As all experiments, this rested upon the nakedness of hypothesis. The outcome was unknown.

It was discovered, experientially and empirically, that there were as many ways to penetrate the veil as the imagination of mind/body/spirit complexes could provide. The desire of mind/body/spirit complexes to know that which was unknown drew to them the dreaming and the gradual opening to the seeker of all of the balancing mechanisms leading to adepthood and communication with teach/learners which could pierce this veil.

The various unmanifested activities of the self were found to be productive, in some degree, of penetration of the veil. In general we may say that by far the most vivid and even extravagant opportunities for the piercing of the veil are a result of the interaction of polarized entities.

This morning I was able to take a break from watering my flower gardens as the temperature was a very comfortable 80 degrees for the high. This allowed me to work on a number of emails that had to be put aside until the watering was up to date. This afternoon I made my monthly visit to a dear friend of Carla’s and mine who has been in a care home in southern Indiana for three years now due to having two strokes in the summer of 2019. I discovered that her hearing is now failing, so that it was much harder to communicate. Her life is such a challenge.

Dan D. Lion is doing well as far as having a good appetite, and the is very important because if you can keep the weight on a cat with kidney problems it will live longer. However, Dan D. is still not peeing, and I hope that he will do so soon because those fluids are building up in his body again and will likely make him uncomfortable.

Give Praise!

I am of that principle known to you as Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine and everlasting love.

I ask you to turn your minds this moment to praise. Praise the daylight, the clouds in their majesty, the mist and fog, the thunderstorm and the snow.

Praise that night which enables each to appreciate the light of day. Praise each shadow of that darkness for the beauties which come to one in the night: the dreams, the visions and hopes of paradise.

Praise the Father that has created you.

Praise your creation, for though you suffer, you live and laugh and love.

Praise consciousness itself, for in it lies the voice and the presence of the Father.

Above all, praise Jesus, the agent of redemption. And praise redemption itself, that gateway through which the journey may be made into eternity. Within each moment there is this opportunity. How exalted may your praises be! How joyful the alleluias!

Give praise! Give praise, O people of the Creator, O children of the Father! And in your heart may you experience the peace of moving into alignment with love, with Christ, with the Father, and with the Spirit who speaks to comfort.

I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:

I would like to remind everyone that we are holding our Meditation for World Peace again tomorrow morning at 11 am Eastern Time. We will meditate for ten minutes and send love, light, and healing energies to the people of Ukraine and Russia.

I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 93.3:

“Questioner: Thank you. The foundation of our present illusion we have stated previously to be the concept of polarity. I would ask that, since we have defined the two polarities as service to others and service to self, is there a more complete or eloquent or enlightening definition? Or any more information that we don’t have at this time on the two ends of the poles that would give us a better insight into the nature of polarity itself?

Ra: I am Ra. It is unlikely that there is a more pithy or eloquent description of the polarities of third density than “service to others” and “service to self” due to the nature of the mind/body/spirit complex’s distortions towards perceiving concepts relating to philosophy in terms of ethics or activity. However, we might consider the polarities using slightly variant terms. In this way a possible enrichment of insight might be achieved for some.

One might consider the polarities with the literal nature enjoyed by the physical polarity of the magnet. The negative and positive, with their electrical characteristics, may be seen to be just as in the physical sense.

It is to be noted in this context that it is quite impossible to judge the polarity of an act or an entity, just as it is impossible to judge the relative goodness of the negative and positive poles of the magnet.

Another method of viewing polarities might involve the concept of radiation/absorption. That which is positive is radiant; that which is negative is absorbent.”

During the Ra contact Don often would ask questions in a different way in areas that he considered to be of basic importance in grasping the Law of One. By doing so he was trying to get more of Ra’s perspective in these areas to enhance our understanding of them. In 21.8, Don made this point clear:

Questioner: I don’t mean to be covering ground that we’ve already covered, but there’re some points that we have trouble with fully understanding, and sometimes I have to ask the question a different way to fully understand it. Thank you.

In this question he is asking for more information about the positive and negative paths. Ra’s first response is to say that it was unlikely that we could get a better answer than service-to-others and service-to-self because of humans placing so much importance on describing philosophical principles in terms of ethics and or morality. In 78.14, Ra gave another example of what might be called polarity in the previous octave of experience:

Questioner: But, in doing this, there was at the center of the galaxy the lack of knowledge, or the lack of concept of possibility of extending the First Distortion so as to allow for what we have experienced as polarity. Was there any concept of polarity carried through from the previous octave in the sense of service-to-others or service-to-self polarity?

Ra: I am Ra. There was polarity in the sense of the mover and the moved. There was no polarity in the sense of service to self and service to others.

Then Ra suggested the two paths could also be likened to the magnet with a positive pole and a negative pole. People could be seen in the same way as the magnet with positive and negative actions. Ra also used this analogy as a means of emphasizing that neither the polarity of the magnet nor most actions of people could be judged relatively good or bad. In 95.24, Ra gave a good example of this type of a situation:

Questioner: From that statement I interpret the following meaning: That if the Experience of the Mind has sufficiently chosen the right-hand path—as total purity is approached in choosing of the right-hand path—then total imperviousness from the effect of the left-hand catalyst is also approached. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is exquisitely perceptive. The seeker which has purely chosen the service-to-others path shall certainly not have a variant apparent incarnational experience. There is no outward shelter in your illusion from the gusts, flurries, and blizzards of quick and cruel catalyst.

However, to the pure, all that is encountered speaks of the love and the light of the One Infinite Creator. The cruelest blow is seen with an ambiance of challenges offered and opportunities to come. Thusly, the great pitch of light is held high above such an one so that all interpretation may be seen to be protected by light.

Ra concludes their answer by using the concepts of radiance and absorption to enhance the description of the two paths. The positive path could be said to be radiant in regards to its shining of light to others and the negative path could be said to be absorbent of the light of others. In 80.6-.7, Ra gave a very practical example of both radiance and absorption of light in the positive and negative sense respectively:

Questioner: What would our fifth-density visitor hope to gain for himself if he were to be successful in terminating this contact?

Ra: I am Ra. As we have previously stated, the entity hopes to gain a portion of that light; that is, the mind/body/spirit complex of the instrument. Barring this, the entity intends to put out the light.

Questioner: I understand this up to a point—that point is if the entity were successful in either of these attempts, of what value would this be to him? Would it increase his ability? Would it increase his polarity? By what mechanism would it do whatever it does?

Ra: I am Ra. Having attempted for some of your space/time with no long-lasting result to do these things, the entity may be asking this question of itself.

The gain for triumph is an increase in negative polarity to the entity in that it has removed a source of radiance and, thereby, offered to this space/time the opportunity of darkness where there once was light. In the event that it succeeded in enslaving the mind/body/spirit complex of the instrument it would have enslaved a fairly powerful entity, thus adding to its power.

And in 80.17, Ra used the Significator of the Spirit, which is the Sun, as an example of how radiance and absorption might be manifested:

Questioner: How would you describe the Significator of the Spirit?

Ra: I am Ra. In answer to the previous query we set about doing just this. The Significator of the Spirit is that living entity which either radiates or absorbs the love and the light of the One Infinite Creator: radiates it to others or absorbs it for the self.

This morning the forecast was for severe thunderstorms by mid-morning. But when the afternoon came and there were no storms and not enough rain to even measure, I decided that I would go ahead and continue watering the gardens. My first step was to pump a quarter of the water out of the fish pond and use it to water the six gardens that surround it. After I cleaned the filters for the pump I noticed that the wind that blew through this morning had knocked over many of the 4 and 5-ft. Giant Hibiscus, so I used plastic ties to attach them to 4-ft. garden stakes.

After the fish pond had been refilled with fresh water I attached the watering wand to the garden hose and went from the front parking area to the far back corner of the yard and watered all the plants that looked like they needed water, which was most of them. We have had four days in a row of temperatures in the upper 90s and no rain. The forecast for next week looks the same, so I see a good deal more watering in my future.

Dan D. Lion is still eating well, and I am much heartened by that. However, he is once again not peeing, so that is a source of concern. The vet said that this will be a process of good days and bad days intermingling for the rest of his life for whatever length it may be in days or weeks.

Offer The Self In Sacrifice

I am the spirit of the living Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of love.

Jesus the Christ taught the disciples to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread.” The Creator has chosen that all things may be fed, upon all levels, by the breaking, sacrificing and blessing of substance.

You know already of physical food and you know of the food that emotion requires, food that is given from one soul to another of anger or of peace. Yet this act of giving of emotional and spiritual food is often not graced with a prayerful attitude or the sacrificial breaking of the self in order to open up those few words of humanity to the infinite riches of the words and feelings of the spirit of love.

In pride the manna of the love of God cannot be shared. Therefore, may each seeking soul offer itself in sacrifice, opening the spirit, breaking the loaves and fishes and blessing them, that there may be abundance of love and peace and all that may be necessary for the beloved creations of the Father.

May you feel that peace and that joy this day and ever. Amen.
