      Inviting Great Imbalance?
Posted by: Plenum - 07-17-2013, 06:50 AM - Forum: Strictly Law of One Material - Replies (15)

there are a few places in Ra where it is expressed that certain actions (usually done in an uninformed manner) can lead to great imbalance.

one example is 'forcing' or attempting to force the rising of the kundalini, as is seen in many new-age type meditations. This is what Ra offers:

Quote:49.5 As an entity grows more polarized this locus will move upwards.

This phenomenon has been called by your peoples the kundalini.

However, it may better be thought of as the meeting place of cosmic and inner, shall we say, vibratory understanding.

To attempt to raise the locus of this meeting without realizing the metaphysical principles of magnetism upon which this depends is to invite great imbalance.

this is beautifully, compactly, and insightfully expressed. It illustrates the point that the 'kundalini' will rise on its own, as one's 'vibratory understandings' increase; ie clearing and development of mental patterns will lead to energetic (kundalini) changes.

however, attempting to 'force' an energetic rise as these certain types of medtations advocate invites 'great imbalance'.

    - -

What are the consequences of great imbalance? (in general, not just for this case).

it makes one less harvestable on the postiive path?

one has a short-term gain, but requires a boatload more experience down the line to offset that temporary boost in awareness and understanding?

The law of Responsibility is in effect at all times?
Posted by: Plenum - 07-15-2013, 03:28 AM - Forum: Strictly Law of One Material - Replies (14)

I have to admit, this has been a tough one for me to totally assimilate.

basically, what Ra says is that as soon as one becomes conscious of 'self' in this incarnation, then the law of responsbility is in effect. This 'awareness' might be at 15 months old or maybe 2.5 years old. I am thinking it is the point of the earliest conscious memories.

Quote:18.7 Questioner: As an entity in this density grows from childhood, he becomes more aware of his responsibilities. Is there an age below which an entity is not responsible for his actions, or is he responsible from the time of birth?

Ra: I am Ra. An entity incarnating upon the Earth plane becomes conscious of self at a varying point in its time/space progress through the continuum. This may have a median, shall we say, of approximately fifteen of your months.

Some entities become conscious of self at a period closer to incarnation, some at a period farther from this event.

In all cases responsibility then becomes retroactive from that point backwards in the continuum so that distortions are to be understood by the entity and dissolved as the entity learns.

18.8 Questioner: Then an entity, say, four years old would be totally responsible for any actions that were against or inharmonious with the Law of One. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. It may be noted that it has been arranged by your social complex structures that the newer entities to incarnation are to be provided with guides of a physical mind/body/spirit complex, thus being able to learn quickly what is consonant with the Law of One.

this amazed me somewhat, that karma could begin to be accumulated at such an early age (acting against the Law of One).

previously, I had been inculturated with the notion that there are 'children' who are unknowing, and therefore in 'the eyes of the law' are subject to a different standard of ruling from an 'adult'; and that the rites of adulthood (getting a drivers licence, reaching voting age, reaching drinking age) then delineate certain 'responsibilities' of a growing individual.

but such 'social standards' do not seem to apply to karmic law (law of responsbiliity).

Jesus got mad as a child, and killed a fellow child, Ra says; and this was karmic.

I mean, when people are tried or drunk, they make the excuse - well, I wasn't in my right mind, I can't be responsible for what I did or said, even if it was something really silly or stupid.

    - -

or I was stoned or in a bad mood ... 'I'm not responsible for what I said or did'.

such an attitude does not seem to acknowledge that karma is in effect at all times. And what is karma?

acting, full well, knowing that it is unloving (ie being deliberately hurtful, desiring to injure the other with words, sarcasm, or blunt fists, or any other manner of being 'unloving')

Quote:12.29 Questioner: What could one of these entities do to become karmically involved? [Inaudible] example.

Ra: I am Ra. An entity which acts in a consciously unloving manner in action with other beings can become karmically involved.

so yeah, I've made any number of excuses for myself in the past. Especially for my younger years. Oh, I was bullied, that's why I behaved the way that I did to my brother and sister. Oh, I had a physically debilitating ailment that sapped me of energy, and I was justified in being grumpy and attacking towards my best friend. Oh, I had financial pressures, and so I was justified in taking the actions that I did.

that just doesn't cut it. It seems spiritual law (responsibility) is in effect at all times. And it takes a fair bit of forgiveness to say, hey, I screwed up plenty in the past. And to own what you did.

    peace guys,

      Sub-Dividing the Chakras
Posted by: Plenum - 07-11-2013, 03:33 PM - Forum: Strictly Law of One Material - Replies (24)

this is a key piece of knowledge that has led to a great refinement in my own balancing process. I initially discussed this with Siren maybe 12 months back, and she had arrived at the same point-of-view that I had.

    the principle is this:

    * the seven energy centres correspond to 7 broad areas or sub-divisions of mind. For eg, the red energy centre (first chakra) corresponds to those attitudes or understandings of the mind that have to do with survival.

Ra sums up the 7 energy centres (7 portions of mind) neatly here:

Quote:"49.6 Each experience will be sequentially understood by the growing and seeking mind/body/spirit complex in terms of survival, then in terms of personal identity, then in terms of social relations, then in terms of universal love, then in terms of how the experience may beget free communication, then in terms of how the experience may be linked to universal energies, and finally in terms of the sacramental nature of each experience."

    - - / /

    * the additive piece of information comes about here. Here Ra specifically mentions that each energy centre has 7 sub-divisions, or sub-colors.

Quote:"The mind complex has a relationship to the spirit and body complexes which is not fixed. Thus blockages may occur betwixt spirit and mind, or body and mind, upon many different levels. We reiterate that each energy center has seven sub-colors, let us say, for convenience. Thus spiritual/mental blockages combined with mental/bodily blockages may affect each of the energy centers in several differing ways. Thus you may see the subtle nature of the balancing and evolutionary process."

these '7 sub-colors' are a more fine grained look at each of the energy centres. To give an example, say with chakra 2 (orange ray), there will be seven portions of understanding that have to do with 'personal power or personal identity'.

2.1 (red sub-color of orange ray)
2.1 (orange sub-color of orange ray)
2.1 (yellow sub-color of orange ray)
    and so on ...
2.7 (violet sub-color of orange ray)

and each of these separate 'rungs' can either be blocked or clear ...

it is also my understanding that crystallization occurs when all the rungs (all 7 subcolors) have been cleared on one chakra, and thus maximal speed can be attained on chakra (zero resistance, no blockages).

so you can see how deep the nature of clearing and balancing is ... how much one must look inward to see resistances and reactivities ... and how expansive and encompassing the nature of mind is.

    peace,

      Temptations, oh, Temptations
Posted by: Plenum - 07-11-2013, 02:42 PM - Forum: Strictly Law of One Material - Replies (5)

Quote:67.7 The normal gambit of such fourth-density attack is the tempting of the entity or group of entities away from total polarization towards service to others and toward the aggrandizement of self or of social organizations with which the self identifies.

In the case of this particular group each was given a full range of temptations to cease being of service to each other and to the One Infinite Creator.

Each entity declined these choices and instead continued with no significant deviations from the desire for a purely other-self service orientation.

in this case here, I belive that Temptations can be used to solidify one's Choice or path. Do you really want to serve the One Infinite Creator, and be sto, or do you still have desires for orange and yellow activity (aggrandizement of self and social organisations) you wish to play out and explore? in both cases, there is a choice, and not a wrong one. If you are ready, then you are ready, if not, then you can explore some of your blockages a bit more. Even here, in the offering of Temptations and the attempt to depolarise is there a great service and opportunity being offered. It is a gift.

though one's choice and response to these type of 'self aggrandizing temptations' one can see where one currently is.

    - -

and of course, we have the famous stories of Jesus and also the Buddha coming to terms with their 'Final Temptations'.

    Quote:Matthew 4.1

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted[a] by the devil.

(temptation 1) 2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”

4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’[b]”

(temptation 2) 5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. 6 “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:

“‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’[c]”
7 Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’[d]”

(temptation 3) 8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”

10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’[e]”

11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

    .... Joseph Campbell's version of the Buddha's enlightenment ....

    Joseph Campbell

In Campbell's version, the immovable spot or axis mundi is not a geographical place, but a state of mind. It is that place in the psyche that is not moved by desire and fear.

To test the future-Buddha, Mara appeared as three different characters.

The first was Kama, or desire. He displayed before Siddhartha his three beautiful daughters named Lust, Fulfillment, and Regret.
If Siddhartha had not let go of his desire he would have looked for a way to fulfill his lust and would inevitably regret it. But he had disengaged his mind from the bodily desire.

Kama then turned himself into Mara, Lord of Death, and he brought an army of monstrous demons and threw against the Buddha all kind of weapons to inspire fear. But there was no "I" there to be frightened. This may explain why we don't see the Buddha's image in early Buddhist arts where he was symbolized by his throne, a dharma-wheel or a blurred image. He had disengaged himself. And the weapons that came into his realm of presence/non-existence were turned into lotuses or flowers.

Mara turned himself now into Dharma, the Lord of Social Duty. It was a trick and also a trap. Siddhartha was born a prince and destined to be a king. His duty was to rule and to rule well. How could he leave his people and the world behind in the pursuit of personal gratification? Wasn't that a selfish and cowardly act? By the way, where did he get the idea that he deserved to be and was about to become Buddha? what an egotistical jerk that he really was.
Campbell gave an excellent rhetorical answer: "How in heaven's name are you going to find your own track if you are always doing what society tells you your duty is?" So Buddha just dropped his hand and touched the earth. This is: "Don't try to move me with this journalistic appeal. I'm interested in eternity." And he called the Mother goddess to witness his right to be there. The goddess Earth herself said, "This is my beloved son who has, through innumerable lifetimes, so given of himself, there is no body here." And with that the elephant on which the Dharma was riding bowed, the army was dispersed and the Buddha received Illumination.

      The Higher Bodies
Posted by: Plenum - 07-11-2013, 01:50 PM - Forum: Strictly Law of One Material - Replies (15)

Quote:47.8 The light body or blue-ray body may be called the devachanic body. There are many other names for this body especially in your so-called Indian Sutras or writings, for there are those among these peoples which have explored these regions and understand the various types of devachanic bodies. There are many, many types of bodies in each density, much like your own.

The indigo-ray body which we choose to call the etheric body is, as we have said, the gateway body. In this body form is substance and you may only see this body as that of light as it may mold itself as it desires.

The violet-ray body may perhaps be understood as what you might call the Buddha body or that body which is complete.

Each of these bodies has an effect upon your mind/body/spirit complex in your life beingness. The interrelationships, as we have said, are many and complex.

Perhaps one suggestion that may be indicated is this: The indigo-ray body may be used by the healer once the healer becomes able to place its consciousness in this etheric state. The violet-ray or Buddhic body is of equal efficacy to the healer for within it lies a sense of wholeness which is extremely close to unity with all that there is.

These bodies are part of each entity and the proper use of them and understanding of them is, though far advanced from the standpoint of third-density harvest, nevertheless useful to the adept.

what sort of understandings are required to 1) access and 2) utilise these higher bodies in a consistent fashion?

      Dance of the Densities
Posted by: Spaced - 07-11-2013, 12:26 AM - Forum: Strictly Law of One Material - Replies (5)

In trying to understand evolution of consciousness through the densities and came up with something using dance as a metaphor. The music to which the metaphorical dance is set is the upward spiraling energy of the Logos. (here's a lil Ra refresher)

Quote:13.17 Questioner: Does this first density then progress to greater awareness?

Ra: The spiraling energy, which is the characteristic of what you call “light,” moves in straight line spiral thus giving spirals an inevitable vector upwards to a more comprehensive beingness with regards to intelligent infinity. Thus, first dimensional beingness strives towards the second-density lessons of a type of awareness which includes growth rather than dissolution or random change.

In the first density there is only the dance of raw consciousness, undirected and chaotic. Slowly, the vibrations of the music begin to bring form to the chaos until forms that can move and pulse emerge.

Now groups of dancers take the stage testing out different types of dance, each perpetuating their own set of moves. The various dances emerge and recede as certain groups prove more or less adept at perpetuating their style.

In third density the dancers begin to realize that they can improvise their own dances based on the movements that their group has developed through second density evolution. Here the dance can start looking like a mosh-pit at times with everyone trying out their own moves with some people trying to dance together and some people trying to hog the stage.

In fourth density the dancers begin to discover the beauty that can be expressed through their movement to the music. Here the dance really begins to look like an art form with some people putting on dazzling performances in which groups move in breathtaking harmony or in which one star holds the spotlight while surrounded by back-up dancers maybe.

In the fifth density the dance becomes so intricate and involved that the dancers must put much forethought into each move as each dancer tries to capture as well as they can the essence of the music in their dance.

Now the dancers begin to understand that the unity inherent to the dance. They begin to see that they are the music. As they continue to dance the polarities become united as both dances have brought the dancers to the same place. Soon the perfect movement becomes the only movement possible.

In the seventh density there is no longer any differentiation between the dance and the music. That which was the dancer can here turn back and look upon the path that it took through the Great Dance and can even go back to ensure that it learns all that it can. Then I suppose comes the time to write a new piece of music Tongue

This is the result rather than the cause of societal thinking upon your plane.

      The Spiritual Ethics of Suicide
Posted by: Plenum - 07-08-2013, 10:10 PM - Forum: Strictly Law of One Material - Replies (167)

first of all; this is a touchy subject, so moderation may be required.

first of all (after the first of all), all things are permitted under Free Will; so there is no judgement one way or the other (regards the topic at hand).

but let's see what the Ra has to say about death and dying:

    1) disease (deadly disease that is, say cancer, influenza in the old) serves a function of ceasing bodily viability when the time is right. This is usually the case when the life plan has been accomplished, and one can go home, or (more likely the case), that one has ignored the opportunities for poliarization in this lifetime, and the incarnation is ended by the Higher Self (or maybe not the higher self, but the significant self??).

Quote:76.20 Questioner: What was the form of disease, and why did this exist at beginning third density?

Ra: I am Ra. Firstly, that which you speak of as disease is a functional portion of the body complex which offers the body complex the opportunity to cease viability. This is a desirable body complex function. The second portion of the answer has to do with second-density other-selves of a microscopic, as you would call it, size which have in some forms long existed and perform their service by aiding the physical body complex in its function of ceasing viability at the appropriate space/time.

    2) if you truly want to die, then your Higher Self will make such possibilities happen for you; no need to take it into your own hands. This was the case with Carla as a teenager, dealing with extreme self-worth issues:

Quote:63.2 Questioner: Was the original problem with the kidneys some 25 years ago caused by psychic attack?

Ra: I am Ra. This is only partially correct. There were psychic attack components to the death of this body at that space/time. However, the guiding vibratory complex in this event was the will of the instrument. This instrument desired to leave this plane of existence as it did not feel it could be of service.

63.3 Questioner: You are saying that the instrument itself then created the kidney problem at that time?

Ra: I am Ra. The instrument’s desire to leave this density lowered the defenses of an already predisposed weak body complex, and an allergic reaction was so intensified as to cause the complications which distorted the body complex towards unviability.

The will of the instrument, when it found that there was indeed work to be done in service, was again the guiding factor or complex of vibratory patterns which kept the body complex from surrendering to dissolution of the ties which cause the vitality of life.

in both cases, you may see the will of the self (the lower self, or incarnational self) having the Determining Say in what goes on. Want to die? then ways will be found. Want to live? then ways will be found.

that is the true almighty power of Free Will of the incarnated self.

    - -

So you see, Carla did die as per her wish, but she met the Holy Spirit in the Tunnel of Light (from what I remember of her story) and was given the chance to come back, and give things another shot.

and aren't we glad that she did?!!! No Carla, means no Ra group (Don, Carla, and Jim), and absolutely no Ra contact.

so who says that a life is unworthy to continue in operation?
