Ra: I am Ra. Not at first. At about the same time as we first appeared in the skies over Egypt and continuing thereafter, other entities of the Confederation appeared unto Atlanteans who had reached a level of philosophical understanding, shall we misuse this word, which was consonant with communication, to encourage and inspire studies in the mystery of unity.

However, requests being made for healing and other understandings, information was passed having to do with crystals and the building of pyramids as well as temples, as you would call them, which were associated with training.

I’ve seen no reference in any Ra or Q’uo materials as to personality types, and wonder if anyone else recalls anything? It would be easy to speculate that the personality types of the members of this Forum, or of “Harvest grade” entities would be all over the board (and that’s my guess), as personality type would be chosen in pre-incarnational planning and would be that type required to learn the lessons chosen. It also occurs to me that perhpas there should be a distribution of personality types similar to the of the general public. However, it would also be easy to speculate that after many incarnations, the common personality type of members of this Forum or of “Harvest grade” entities would be fairly homogenous.

In a search of the Forums, I’ve seen a thread in “Olio” as to enneagram personality types, which didn’t quite ask this question, and another interesting thread regarding the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator test entitled Myers Briggs Wanderers which tends to indicate that “I’s”, and particularly INTJ’s, predominate. An interesting poll in Life on Planet Earth on Myers-Briggs Personality Type shows almost 90% of responders were introverts, which supports the Myers-Briggs Wanderers thesis, and also shows that among the responders there is not even close to an even distribution of personality types.

These last two threads would indicate that personality type is not all over the board, as I thought. Any information or comments?

I recognize that this post may be better suited to “Olio,” but I specifically seek any information which is in the Ra or Q’uo materials, and comments thereon, thus the post here.

Conversely, if the healer believes that he is the one doing the healing, his will is involved and is in contact with the one to be healed. There is a perceived separation, therefore, between healer and healee, and this separation is less than the truth of wholeness. The hallmark of such healings is, however, that they will wear off and will simply be combed out of the aura of the one to be healed by time and attrition, so that in the end the energy simply stops being effective.

That same healer can repeat the healing again and again and achieve results each time. Nevertheless, it does not have the characteristics of that movement through the gateway of intelligent infinity which produces the environment of healing while preserving completely the free will of the one to be healed.

* there were 60 million Wanderers on the planet in 1981. For a population size of 4.5 billion, this equates to 1.3% of people on the planet was a Wanderer. Basically 1 in 100. That sounds like a lot!! A lot ET's that is : d.

in various places in the Ra material, there are hints that just about the worst thing you can do if you want to evolve spiritually is to not pay attention to what is going on in your life, ie not paying attention to catalyst and feedback from life.

and the best way to ignore catalyst is to distract oneself and be 'asleep'. And that asleep might be quite literal (the dulling of consciousness, so as to 'not think', not in the sense of intelligence, but in the sense of thinking about deeper matters).

Others of your gadgets may be seen to be tools whereby the entity explores the capabilities of its physical or mental complexes and in some few cases, the spiritual complex, thus activating the orange ray in what you call your team sports and in other gadgets such as your modes of transport. These may be seen to be ways of investigating the feelings of power; more especially, power over others or a group power over another group of other-selves.

I wish to examine the concept of 'Initiation' and what it means in the context of Ra. They give a few clues as to what they intend in their writings about the Great Pyramid.

first of all, what is the nature of Initiation? what does it 'do'?

at heart, it seems to be a re-alignment of Self so that the attention is redirected away from the trivial and the surface, and into the profound and the eternal. Here is one snippet:

Before the body can be initiated, the mind must be initiated. This is the point at which most adepts of your present cycle find their mind/body/spirit complexes distorted from.

When the character and personality that is the true identity of the mind has been discovered, the body then must be known in each and every way.

Thus, the various functions of the body need understanding and control with detachment.

The first use of the pyramid, then, is the going down into the pyramid for purposes of deprivation of sensory input so that the body may, in a sense, be dead and another life begin.

some aspects of our life repeat over and over again; like a broken record. And we sometimes wonder why. Is this an aspect of my personality that is fixed, and I am just 'wired' this way, to repeat the same negative and self-attacking thoughts? or is there something deeper - that these thoughts are a finger pointing to an area that needs more urgent attention?

there are a few passages in Ra which speak to the notion of 'things repeating until the lesson is learnt by the self'. If I may, I'll put these up for my (and possibly yours) consideration:

1) an 'aware' and 'polarised' entity 'knows' what they are doing in life. They see the patterns, and recognise their meaning. The catalyst is well used.

Those truly helpless are those who have not consciously chosen but who repeat patterns without knowledge of the repetition or the meaning of the pattern.

Such an entity is quite desirous of using the catalyst and has determined to its own satisfaction that what you may call the large board needs to be applied to the forehead in order to obtain the attention of the self. In these cases it may indeed seem a great waste of the catalyst of pain and a distortion towards feeling the tragedy of so much pain may be experienced by the other-self. However, it is well to hope that the other-self is grasping that which it has gone to some trouble to offer itself; that is, the catalyst which it desires to use for the purpose of evolution.

We of the Confederation are at the call of those upon your planet. If the call, though sincere, is fairly low in consciousness of the, shall we say, system whereby spiritual evolution may be precipitated, then we may only offer that information useful to that particular caller. This is the basic difficulty. Entities receive the basic information about the Original Thought and the means, that is meditation and service to others, whereby this Original Thought may be obtained.

Please note that as Confederation members we are speaking for positively oriented entities. We believe the Orion group has precisely the same difficulty.

Once this basic information is received it is not put into practice in the heart and in the life experience but instead rattles about within the mind complex distortions as would a building block which has lost its place and simply rolls from side to side uselessly, yet still the entity calls.

Therefore, the same basic information is repeated.

Ultimately the entity decides that it is weary of this repetitive information. However, if an entity puts into practice that which it is given, it will not find repetition except when needed.

sometimes in our busy lives, the first thing that we skimp on is sleep. Enough sleep. Enough quality sleep. Enough sleep to dream deeply enough.

Here is what Ra offers on the repairative functions of REM sleep:

The other function of the dreaming which is of aid is that type of dream which is visionary and which prophets and mystics have experienced from days of old. Their visions come through the roots of mind and speak to a hungry world. Thus the dream is of service without being of a personally polarizing nature. However, in that mystic or prophet [who] desires to serve, such service will increase the entity’s polarity.

36.18 Questioner: Are there any examples of sixth-density negatively polarized Wanderers in our historical past?

Ra: I am Ra. This information could be harmful. We withhold it. Please attempt to view the entities about you as part of the Creator. We can explain no further.

I have a simple thought about this and what it was/is. Though I am very VERY hesitant to say so on account of understanding what Ra means by "might be harmful". Though I am tempted to discuss the possibility of this being so. However I realize that if I am right it would be a tremendous infringement to say what I observe in relation to this, "out loud."

So. Thoughts. What should one do in a situation like this? Do you agree with Ra withholding?
