New to the forum. One thing that it really costed me to wrap my head around is the Octaves. There are many mentions of them in the books, but, since Ra was still of this octave or creation, many things where even unknown to him/it/her, or chose not to disclose them.

I want to hear thoughts, opinions, on what you feel about octaves of creation. Is there a mathematical reason for being an "octave"? what do you believe they are? 

The topic just fascinates me. And even more, are we on the first octave, or more "up the ladder"? I'll leave my beliefs below.

I do feel like octaves are just different densities, but not tethered together. I believe that densities within a same-octave are like a layered sandwich, where layers can only see down. One layer below cannot fully access its above layer, or stare at it directly, but it can feel there is a higher layer. When a superior layer, can perfectly see the entire "sandwich" of layers beneath it. 

In this silly analogy, to me, an octave is a different "sandwich". Where one, cannot affect the other one, you can just stack them.

That may explain why higher density same-octave beings have a tremendous stake in mankind evolving, and have "tweaked" human history through interventional events such as preventing future nuclear wars (aside from preserving to the fullest of their abilities free will on average). I believe this is so because such events could have a tremendous impact on the entire octave, not only our density. 

May be this got too complicated, and I apologize. But I'm eager to read your own opinions and learn by exploring them.

This reading has a lot of meaning.

I have seen youtube videos saying it is pronounced A-TEN, like the A-10 Warthog.

or "A Ten" digit number.

Not Ahken-ah-tin or some other sound. Strangely most people know the name Ra, know little else about Egyptian religion or Egypt in general but know he was their sun god. But few have heard or attribute any meaning to Aten and the name doesn't mean much.

What do you make of this? Why did Ra call himself Ra instead of A-ten? Does this sound/vibration have some special meaning like Om and it's symbol?

Since it is such a long reading and I've posted about before, I am referring to this section, right after it is written that Ahkenaten changed his name to include 'aten' rather than 'amun':

"...The entity decided that this name, being in honor of one among many gods, was not acceptable for inclusion in his vibratory sound complex. Thus, he changed his name to one which honored the sun disc. Ra: I am Ra. We are aware that your mind/body is calculating the proper method of performing the task of creating a teach/learning instrument. We are aware that you find our incarnate, as you call it, state of interest. We waited for a second query so as to emphasize that the time/space of several thousand of your years creates a spurious type of interest. Thus in giving this information, we ask the proper lack of stress be placed upon our experiences in your local space/time. The teach/learning which is our responsibility is philosophical rather than historical. We shall now proceed with your request which is harmless if properly evaluated.
We are those of the Confederation who eleven thousand of your years ago came to two of your planetary cultures which were at that time closely in touch with the creation of the One Creator. It was our naïve belief that we could teach/learn by direct contact and the free will distortions of individual feeling or personality were in no danger, we thought, of being disturbed as these cultures were already closely aligned with a[n] all-embracing belief in the live-ness or consciousness of all. We came and were welcomed by the peoples whom we wished to serve. We attempted to aid them in technical ways having to do with the healing of mind/body/spirit complex distortions through the use of the crystal, appropriate to the distortion, placed within a certain appropriate series of ratios of time/space material. Thus were the pyramids created.
We found that the technology was reserved largely for those with the effectual mind/body distortion of power. This was not intended by the Law of One. We left your peoples. The group that was to work with those in the area of South America, as you call that portion of your sphere, gave up not so easily. They returned. We did not. However, we have never left your vibration due to our responsibility for the changes in consciousness we had first caused and then found distorted in ways not relegated to the Law of One. We attempted to contact the rulers of the land to which we had come, that land which you call Egypt, or in some areas, the Holy Land.
In the Eighteenth Dynasty, as it is known in your records of space/time distortions, we were able to contact a pharaoh, as you would call him. The man was small in life-experience on your plane and was a… what this instrument would call, Wanderer. Thus, this mind/body/spirit complex received our communication distortions and was able to blend his distortions with our own. This young entity had been given a vibratory complex of sound which vibrated in honor of a prosperous god, as this mind/body complex, which we call instrument for convenience, would call “Amun.” The entity decided that this name, being in honor of one among many gods, was not acceptable for inclusion in his vibratory sound complex. However, this entity’s beliefs were accepted by very few. His priests gave lip service only, without the spiritual distortion towards seeking. The peoples continued in their beliefs. When this entity was no longer in this density, again the polarized beliefs in the many gods came into their own and continued so until the one known as Muhammad delivered the peoples into a more intelligible distortion of mind/body/spirit relationships.
Do you have a more detailed interest at this time?

I've searched the Law of One material for this before, but wasn't successful in finding any comprehensive information abt this, if someone could explain or direct me I would really appreciate it    Thank you!

I have been exploring the concepts of Creator and Creation as used in the channelings. I often try to tease apart my own limiting associations with these terms, which my brain associates with the creator/god of my early religious upbringing (a god separate than, and far above me ... a god to be loved, worshipped and feared). 

My understanding/relationship with these concepts - Creator and Creation - is ever-changing. 

My understanding of my own creator-ship has danced closely with humility and self-worth. I can slightly grasp that I am -- each of us are -- collectively, creators (or the One Creator) of this Creation. We are both the One/Infinite Creator and simultaneously, the One/Infinite Creation. That's where I'm at today, at least. 

Now, enter the energy centers. Very briefly, I understand that my chosen objective is to balance (and clear/unblock) my energy centers so that the energy within (upward-flowing) can rise up - as unimpeded as possible - and meet the downward-flowing cosmic prana, or intelligent energy, at the indigo ray of my energy body. And, there, to open the door to Intelligent Infinity, which I understand to be like the Creator state. 

The indigo ray is "a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma" to me.   But I minimally understand it to be a state of conscious creator-ship, or perhaps a stepping into Oneness??

I’ve decided to reread the Law of One - I read it for the first time nearly 15 years ago. And since then I’ll read some here and there for reference.

This time around I want to really digest it from an older, more life seasoned, perspective.

I have contemplated healing the self a lot lately and I’m having a stumbling block between Ra’s explanation of how to heal and become a healer as well as balancing the energy centers.

Would both approaches result in the same thing?

I am re-reading the sessions. (Totally different experience than the first reading, now that I have a basic understanding of terminology and concepts.) 

In session 6, Ra continues the disciplines of the M, B & S, and refers to disciplines of the spirit being exercises of wind and fire. 

Anybody have any insights into how disciplines of the spirit involve wind and fire?

I was curious to get any input on how "rapid growth" may be accomplished from Session 20.25:

20.25 Questioner: Then at present it would seem that our life span is much too short for those who are new to third-density lessons. Is this correct?
Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. Those entities which have, in some way, learned/taught themselves the appropriate distortions for rapid growth can now work within the confines of the shorter life span. However, the greater preponderance of your entities find themselves in what may be considered a perpetual childhood.

There are a few clues I think in Session 49.4, 48.7/52.9, and 19.13 that I would sum up to say the following might lead to rapid growth in my opinion:

• Using our ability to structure abstract concepts, we can polarize by analyzing our catalyst, in meditation or from interacting with other-selves, in order to balance our emotions/energy centers to handle similar situations more appropriately with love and compassion.
  
• Wanderer's have a potential "leg up" and can polarize more rapidly if they remember their intended service during their incarnation.
  

Ra describes an "armor of light” that can be used by a wanderer with his free will:

This is the manner of which those of Ra were describing the armor of light and its use, for each wanderer has the ability to discern, through use of the armor of light, that which is appropriate or not appropriate within its frame of reference.
